It's titled Praise Generating. Now praise the word praise. It's

number nine.

Hey, sure not, you can't. Probably.

The first one is introduction, the bro The first one

is introduction. Ah, it is a purposely to wake your

up for those keenness. What is the word you used now, kinesthetic?

Is it psycho moto anyway?

Anyway?

For those of you who like to Basically, it's just

a fancy word to say that if you use your

hands to to learn that. Okay, So if you like

to get your pen, you'll do the key aesthetic thing

today as well. Okay, amen, I do get this that

it'll be strange anyway. Let's let's move on. So now

now praise, Okay, Now, praise is something that we know.

Right whenever you hear the word praise, what comes to mind?

Praise God? Right, praise the Lord. We sing, we worship.

We you have praise songs. We lift up our hands,

we clap. Sometimes if you're able to dance a little

bit as well, we jump and just's worship.

Right. Let's praise generally.

But when you hear the word phrase generating, it's a

bit different, right, what does it mean?

Praise? Generating? Ah?

I see are okay, So it's something a bit deeper

than just the regular phrase that we talk about. And

I want to begin with a question. You don't have

to answer out loud, you can just think about it.

But this is the question I'm going to put up.

You flash it up on the screen. Yep, what do

we generate? Generator?

You know? Generate? Right?

Educate to help me out now, as kidding, Ah, generate okay,

wherever we go? Okay, So to give you some context,

whenever you walk into a room, what happens? Okay, whenever

you walk into your home after a long day.

What happens? What do you generate?

Or it could be Monday morning you walk into the office.

What happens to the scene, to the place, or what

happens when you join a zoom meeting, a team's meeting

right with your fellow peers or colleagues, your friends, or

what happens when you hop into a car with a family.

What do you or do we or do you generate?

In terms of the atmosphere? Okay, I'm quite sure we've

always experienced this before. I mean all of us have

done this. Sometimes when you walk into a room, you

may feel uncomfortable, sometimes because of the people that are there.

Right, Sometimes you may feel a bit more positive.

Right, So there's always two either one or zero as

a binary kind of experience.

Right.

And and sometimes you don't have to say much, not

say anything. The moment you walk in. You feel the

vibe of the place, right. And and some conversations can

be not very comfortable.

Right.

You may start off by saying just a nice peasantry

stuff like oh, how are you today? This takes about

four seconds and after that you regretfully five minutes later

because the person may be pouring out you know, the

economy is collapsing. You know, I can't my boss is

can I use this word useless? You know, I had

a your terrible weekend. The traffic this morning was horrible.

What else can I say? Oh? The coffee this morning

wasn't good? Yeah, started the wrong you know, woke up

the wrong side the bit, you know. Or some people

will say things like oh, you know Malaysia, you know

this country is finished? Lie, no, no, no, no hope

or sometimes even they may say or all these things

I just mentioned. It's because of the cat in the morning.

My cat, the black cat that saw this morning. That

is the problem, right, I mean I don't explain too much.

You and I probably have rob shoulders with people like

that before. Right, you can feel the atmosphere, you can

feel the vipe, and sometimes they give you this not

so good vibe. But sometimes you also have this opposite experience. Right,

you walk into a room, you meet somebody, and then

you love to talk to that person. Talk for ten minutes,

and then you'll be like, oh, I feel so much better.

I started off prum me, but you know, after that

ten minutes talk, I feel like, you know, I can

take on the world. You know, you were discouraged, but

then you were encouraged. You were worried, But then after

that ten minutes not pep talk, but just good conversations,

you have hope. Right, you feel tired, and then sometimes

beyond that you feel strengthened. Right, And yeah, you start

you may have started complaining, and then after a while

you start to see something different. Right, And you've got

people like that, this is what we say, people that

can change the atmosphere positively. You you know, you feel

that vibe some of you notice people, I'm married to one.

Uh so yeah, between the two of us, Okay, we're

both positive people, but I'm more the glass half half

full half. I don't know anyway, I don't know who,

but I'm super positive. But I can't I can't beat her.

So so so yeah, and back to this this there's

two groups, right, these two groups.

Which one of the groups you want to be in

the second group? Right? Right? Sure?

Yeah, he's very positive, so yeah, yeah, but you know

what it got me thinking, you know, this whole thing,

it's contagious. Whether it is the positive that the first

group or the second group, it's contagious. It can really

change the vibe the field. Sometimes you you you you

And sometimes you think we're at this same office, same church,

same school, right, same problems, same challenges, same country, same air,

We do the same haze these days, but somehow different atmosphere.

What's the difference. Yeah, just the individuals are right.

So that is how I want to start off, because

it's not just simply do I praise God? We need

to ask ourselves do I am I generating in brackets

God's praise wherever I go because that changes things. And

you and I we have the power and we not friendship,

we collectively I don't know, I says joke like I

was from the school play. We sorry, I tell you

my mind is sometimes I don't know goes up there.

But anyway, let's get back to this.

So, because everyone definitely generates something, as I've said, you know,

some people generate fear. Their fearmongers in those WhatsApp groups,

you know, they were like.

Oh you know, no, no no, no, no, no, no no

no those My parents are one of those.

Anyways, some people generate anxiety, right, Some people generate complaints.

Some criticism, constructive feedback, they call it right. Some generate

discouragement arether generate hope? Right, faith and encouragement. So and

let's look back to the early Church. This is a

book of acts, not x Church per se, but the

first Church. And if you look at them, right, the

church wasn't just praise filled, but they were the ones

that actually generated praise. Right, And how many people believe

that the church? You know what, the church represents the people.

It's not building, it's not four walls. We are the church.

We should generate praise two, right, just like the first Church. Right,

it's not outdated. Right, even though it's strange, only six,

I think it's still relevant. So let's read together, Okay,

from X two forty six. I've got the verses up

there big enough. Sorry I didn't realize it's small. But anyway,

bring your bible, Bring your bible, or bring binoculars or

your glasses. Okay, all right, so just two verses here.

so continuing daily, Okay, daily is the word I highlighted

I always come to have this joke in my head.

For those who don't know what a court is, it's

breaking bread from house to house. Okay, so they moved

with all the people. And the Lord added to the

church daily those who were saved, Oh sorry, who were

they were together. They did this daily, not every now

Anyway, let's get back to this. Yeah.

Then it says praising God, praising God. Right, and then

the Lord continued adding to the church. Notice something praise

is not an occasional activity. Why because it says there

first word daily daily praising. Yes, they mack on together

and all that, but they daily praise together as well.

They didn't say the only praise on Sundays are by

the way, sometimes you think praising is only for Sundays

are No? No, not that they worshiped together. This was

part of their everyday life. They praised God daily. And

this again, if you didn't catch all that, it's not

an event, it's every day thing.

Okay, So what is an every day thing? Sometimes we

call that habit?

Right, We do it because we want to make it

a routine, a regime, something that you don't even think

about it, just like breathing. You know you don't, I

mean you shouldn't. If you have to, then maybe not

so good luck. But but yeah, it's meant to be

something that is you're wired and then you you just know.

And that's why I love the word generating because generating, uh,

would mean that it's actually continually done right nobody. Maybe

you do la you know the olden days of pasam alums.

Maybe they still do have that those generator that rumbles

and then it goes on what happens when you turn

off the generator?

No power? Right?

But you know, in a bigger scale, let's say like

TNB do not TNBS. TNB is our national energy not

just provided but there. Yeah, they're ELI yeah yeah, Alien TNB. Anyway,

they have power plants, you know our power plants. Power

plans generate power. Right, do they ever turn off?

Why?

They don't, right, because if you turn they turn off,

then obviously there is no power, no, right, and it's continuing.

They keep on producing, they keep on generating. Why because

always understand the simplistic sense, the moment you stop, no

power back to candle days, right, candle light, romantic nights.

We live in subang so there was an era where

there's a lot of romantic nights or.

Candles for a while.

Uh, and then we're like, oh, anyway, let's not get

there now.

Some of you may know of this thing called the

dynamo right the era.

You know, the thing that you look onto the wheel

or your wheel of your bike.

I remember my first dynamo.

I was so amazed with it because the moment you

cycle and then I'll just lift the bicycle static, you know,

so that doesn't actually run away.

I'll pedal and then the dynamo just turns on. Right.

The light, the faster you pedal, the brighter the light.

The moment you slow down. Then kids were like, what

on earth is the dynamo now your batteries during your time? No, no, no,

back then it's dynamo. Okay, back then it's dynamo.

But praise it is a little bit like that.

Well, okay, praise requires you to continue to generate. The

moment you stop generating, the moment the power that comes

with praise will stop.

Okay.

So I hope you understand this simple concept. So in

ext church or in church at large, we value not

just like phrase, we value praise more than that. We

love worship, but we don't just worship, but we want

to be praise generating because we know of what the

potential could be if.

We have it in a little bit more sustainable manner.

We need to. We need it because we need the

power that comes with praise. So it's a very deliberate

word because, like I said earlier, if you switch off

deliberately or unconsciously switch it off, then no power. Right,

you'll feel it, and that's part of our DNA. We

want to deliberately understand the power of this. So just

two points, okay, in your in your book, there's already

two points there, right, first point at some extra points

and because I'm just just the way I am anyway,

that the power of the tongue is the first point.

So let's begin with something very practical, very simple concept.

Right, your mouth is a generator. Your tongue is.

Like the motor or the motto depending on which part

of where you come from, that powers that generator.

Right.

If you break down the past, this mechanical or will

be looking at you break down the thing, right, there

will be like coils and all that. Right, there's magnets

that that sort of runs it and then it spins

and then that's how you get think generator.

So your tongue is a bit like that, right, it

it it it.

It's like the motto that actually powers the generator, and

then generator will produce that power.

Right.

So again I'm quite sure power stations, Uh, they are

not accidentally together, right, they're not. That's just randomly deploy

one because one is costing a lot of money as well.

And then there's also like some planning and how they

design the grid and all that. But it's not an accident, right,

it's constantly on as well. Because we'll say that right,

if it stops, the whole city gets black out. Not

just doing elections. Are you don't get that joke now mine?

Yeah, so likewise saw our mouth as well. It's continuous. Actually,

the only time we stop for most people are my

wife especially, i'd uh, it's continuous. The only time when

you stop is when he sleeps or when I sleep. No,

point is every day our mouth is producing something. Every day,

our mouth is producing something every day, like it or not,

like it or not, you produce something, right, And the

Bible talks a lot about this power. What's the power

the power of words? Okay, let's look at James Tree.

Jamestree tells us that with the same tongue you can

do two things. We can bless God and at the

same time, the same instrument, that same tongue can tear

people down, right, because it can be used for blessing

or for cursing.

used for good or used for not so good. Right,

So hopefully we do good with it. Think about it.

You know that same mouth, that same tongue. On a Sunday,

you can be saying, God, You're so good. We can

be singing praises Jesus, we love you, Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus.

And on Monday, early in the you know, six am,

aver time, you drive to Word and you be like,

why is this guy driving so slow? Same tongue, same town,

right against Sunday praise God. Then on Monday morning we

go to your first meeting. Why are you meeting so

early at eight o'clock? It's a waste of time. This

guy is useless.

Why is he late?

Same mouth, same tongue. And that's why, James, I think

he ended like this is saying, my brethren, these things

ought not to be. These things ought not to be.

Why Because they said words. No matter how you use it,

the tongue will generate something. So words can either build

or destroy our everyday words, things that we normally do,

can either build or destroy.

Words can heal or boone hurt people.

You know, all this sarcasm and all that you know

might be funny to you, but essatially hurting somebody. Words

can live or crush, right, words can create courage or

instill or create fear among people. And we know the

last one. Words can bring life or bring death. You know,

I heard a story once that a child was taken

away from their parents, and then the investigators interviewed the child,

and then the child said that they called her by name,

and then the person did not respond.

And then what she says, my name.

Is stupid, because why the abusive parents have been calling

her dead, speaking death into her life, and then she

forgot her actual identity. And that's the power words, right,

So back to the question of what are we generating

with our words with our mouth? You know, parents or

future parents. You've got a lot of future parents coming.

Think about this. You know you're those the view who

are parents for a while. So you notice, right, children

are always listening to what you say, right most of the time,

not only when you're talking to them. By the way,

you catch that, that means you be they'll be learning

or they be observing. They'll be listening to how you

talk to other people, right, how you respond when something

goes wrong. Uh, you know, what you say when the

bills come, when somebody disappoints you, or whether you're stuck

in traffic. You know, if somebody cuts you off becausas

highway when you're driving here, you go no no, no, no, no,

no no no. You always become a bit more flowery. Right,

these words that you generate, I don't think they are

praise words, right, Sometimes don't think about it, right, it

just rolls off our tongue so naturally, And that's the

beauty of it.

No, not the.

Beauty, but our mouth actually reveals what our heart is

actually like or what's producing. So we ought to be

very careful, whether you realize it or not, whenever we

generate these things through this superb multitude, right, it can

do harm or it can do good. You know, sometimes

we I hope we do we talk hope, or we

talk about gratitude rather than fear, and you know, becoming

raising about different things. And that's why the core value

isn't just do you praise during worship? Always praise during worship,

But what comes out of you when worship is over?

It's probably more important do you still can to praise

beyond that? I think today I counted we all three

or four songs have the word praise in it.

Yeah, we know the words, but.

Because no praise general thing is only real right when

I used the word realize your worship. You know, in

the investment terms, you realize an investment when you either

sell the investment or your property. Even you realize the

profits after you close the sale or whatever. Right, So

back to this right, praise, anything is only realized when

you see what comes out after the praise and worship

that we know it.

It's done right.

Because praise is something that we actually generally intentionally. It's

not an accidental right and it's not because of how

we feel, as it has be something that is intentional.

And that leads me to my second point. Praise is

a choice, not a feeling. It's a choice. We don't

praise or just praise because we feel good. Well, if

you don't feel good, then how we praise? Because God

is good and God is God. You know how many

of us always feeling it's very easy to praise God

when things are going right, all right, But some days

I'll be honest, I don't feel like praising.

But it's a choice. Hopefully it's not.

Just Mila, you know, everybody feels that the way right

right if you are fired up after Sunday then Monday, right.

And most days life.

Will not give you a flowery really made reason to

praise God eventually, or to praise in general. Maybe you

had a terrible week before you came this Sunday. Maybe

you horrible horrible weekend before Monday or when you're going

to work or school, you know, maybe something didn't work out,

or maybe you prayed for some time and God has not,

or the answer is delayed right, still no answer. Maybe

you wanted to go to a particular university, then you

applied and then you didn't get get through. Or you

wanted that particular job you applied and then you didn't

get it. Or somebody got that promotion that you deserve

but your boss did not realize or recognize and never came.

The race never came.

Or maybe you want a particular car, right finally, okay,

this guy is suitable. You want to black specifically by

any hot pink left.

You know who go for the hot pin car?

Right, But jokes aside, you know you're probably like you say,

praise God, thank you Lord for the hot pink car.

At least it's a car.

But some people are like, oh, I know, doom and gloom. Right,

Sometimes we want everything to be perfect before we praise,

but praise generating the meaning of this is actually to

find something to praise God for. Right, there's always, as

they say, a silver lining. Right some verses here uh

Tessalonian verse Tessilonian sorry, five sixteen to eighteen.

What does it say here?

Rejoice always pray without seizing in everything, give thanks for

this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. You see,

Paul doesn't say thank God for everything.

I'm being ready picky here. Right.

You say in everything, not for everything. That means some

things happened to us, can be painful, can be disappointing,

things can also be sometimes out of God's will. But

he says in everything, not for everything. In everything that

means to say, in every circumstance or any circumstance, you

still need to find a way to thank God for it,

whether you like it or not.

You caught that.

Right, Psalms hundred and try. It's quite a long one,

but this is a David right. He's astually telling us

to remember what God has done. A pilot this some

That means to say, hold back, remember what he's done

for you.

So sometimes the problem isn't that God hasn't done anything good.

a even in the bad times, remember the good times

and be thankful for it now because we already forgetful

people we tend to remember they're not so good times, right,

Be anxious for nothing and again in everything, in everything?

I don't think it's excidentally the word not for everything,

but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Wow,

it's the Lord. So Paul doesn't say again Paul the

same guy. He doesn't say that when all the problems

is solved, everything is resolved, all the worries are done,

then give thanks, Give thanks even when you are troubleshooting,

when you're going through things. And of course the famous

one ephicients five twenty. I've got a longer one there,

but in short, if you look at the verse twenty

says giving thanks always.

Always for all things.

So a strong idea is really always in the good

and the bad. He might not be what he wanted,

the hot pinker. I don't know why hot pin is

the thing that is popping in the mind.

But God is still good, right, God is still going.

It might not be the university or the job that

you wanted, but you know you're still going to union.

You still have a job. Still, someone is still paying

your bills right right. Or if you're traveling, somebody might

not be first class, hey, but at least you still

get there. Funny story that comes to mind. I think

a few years ago we were traveling to the US,

just sort of business travel than the Tree of Us

tag along.

She flew business. We flew coach or economy. Uh, we

had better sleep than her.

There was not a longest player of twenty hours or

some day that I think the longest flight from Singapore allines,

Singapore to l A. I think I was a sa

risk I Cambridge already. But yeah, we slept well. Then

we you know, hit the ground running, but she struggled.

We are very good sleepers on the planes.

Anyway.

What I'm trying to say is that same destination. But

sometimes we Oh, Lord, why not.

Business?

Why not first class? I mean, it's an example a lot,

but you get them trying to say, right, it's just

sometimes we fixated.

Don't get me wrong.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't expire for all these things. Right,

But if God gives you whatever, think about the bigger picture. Right, Yeah,

don't let the absence of things that you're fixated on

stop you from seeing what God has in store for you,

or what God has already given you. Because sometimes you

like that hot pinker, steal car, steal a car.

Right, let's move on.

Okay, haveper cook Tree seventeen to eighteen. Right, let's read

There's a hymn of faith. Though the victory may not blossom,

nor fruit be on the vines, Though the labor of

the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food.

Though the flock may be cut off from the foe,

I will joy in the rejoice in the Lord of

powerful picture of what praise is like in the Bible.

You know, you know, if you can just put yourself

in his shoes for a while, he probably looked around.

Things are not going well for him. Right.

actually means this right. I know what I'm experiencing here.

Somehow it doesn't align. But yet, Lord, yet I will still.

You know, I know the prayers haven't been answered for

some time. Yet got the doctor right? I know this

isn't what I expected Lord, But yet, right, I know

I'm seeing this. Somehow it doesn't maybe it doesn't quite

align with what you showed me before.

But yet.

I will rejoice in the Lord. You see, if you

didn't catch all that. Praise doesn't deny reality, doesn't change

the reality. And I put this here so that it's

easy for you to see because praise doesn't say everything

is okay, or pretending everything is okay when everything is

not okay. You caught that because some people say that, oh,

you know, praise means I just like, oh, forget about

the worries.

No worries where Australian kind of thing when everything is

not okay. No, no, it's not that. Praise actually says

everything may not be okay, but.

God is still good. God is still God. That's what

praise is about. This is different from like just pretending right.

It's not we're not denying pain. We're not denying the

medical reports saying this or that. We're not denying disappointment

as well. I'm not denying disappointments. I'm not pretending the job,

the difficulty the job doesn't hurt. I'm not denying that,

you know, the breakup or the relationship problems I have

doesn't hurt. I'm just saying, or we are just saying

that God I may not understand everything, yet I still

trust you. I don't like this, Lord, but I still

worship you. I don't see the answer, the complete answer yet.

But yet God, you are so good. That's praise, guys.

Praise is refusing to let the problem become God or

become Lord over you. And that's why we have to

constantly generate praise. Let's look at X sixteen. I know

it's a bit long. You can turn there for a while,

but I'll just give you a summary. Okay, this is

where Paul and Silas and we did this at homes

right where Paul was traveling a little bit. Then they

met this person called Lydia. Remember that partnered homes. Yeah,

the church plan at this lady's house.

So this is just after that.

All right, Paul and Silas were taken to jail. They

have been beaten, they were bleeding, they were chained, they

were probably spent at as well. I'm not sure they

were in prison. Not the most comfortable place, by the way,

I don't know what prisons are like back then, probably

don't have any ECN, you know, probably not the most comfortable.

And look at this. You look at uh, where was this?

Where's the midnight.

But yeah, sixteen is where it starts to talk about

it being in prison, Okay, and then verse twenty five, right,

it says there, but at midnight all and silences were.

What were you doing at midnight? Praying? Singing hymns to God.

And the prisoners who were listening to them. Now, let's

be honest. If you and I were in that situation,

what song will you sing? Maybe better Goodness of God?

You know, you know all my life I have been faithful.

Oh my life, you have been so so good. I

was saying of your goodness of God.

You know? Who are you singing that? I don't know?

Maybe way Maker, I don't know, Way Maker. Right, you

are here, moving in our hearts. I worship you. I

worship you. I don't know.

Probably composing a new song, the new song ministry. Right, Lord,

just get me out of here, man, I'll be honest. Right,

prison tired, dark, dingy, smelly, et cetera.

Midnight already they're still praying and praising the Lord. You know,

do you think it's a choice? Do you think their

bodies can even like, let's do this, man, yay, let's

praise the lawless. Yeah, I don't think so they were

praying and singing, praising the lord. I don't think they

have worshiped being. No, by the way, no no keyboard.

Today we had the luxury of two keyboards, two guitars,

no hill saw, no Spotify, no Wi Fi. Right, no

no x TV or lyrics, nothing, no lighting, no comfortable chair.

Even they were in chains and yet they were singing.

Now, why did they do that? Because it's a choice. Look,

did their circumstance change. No?

Did the prison doors open after that? I mean during

that time. No, they didn't praise or sing to the

lot because the prison doors were opened.

They were just.

Well change still there? Yeah, they probably still chained up.

Was ESTENTI still there? Probably were they used to in

paint probably as well. Right, probably when they were praising,

they were in more pain. And of course you read,

you read on you know that something happens, right, real

quick comes prison doors will open, the chains fell off,

and then suddenly everybody was like, what's happening, what's happening.

Everybody was paying attention. The prisoners was listening, right, the

jailer was listening. And ultimately we know that the jailer's

life was changed.

Right. Why because.

Not just because of the praising and all that, but

something unusual happening happened, right, not because the prison doors open.

But you must understand, typically prisoners, what would you do?

They'll be like, oh, I know, I mean listen, cannisa,

I don't know yin wanga, I kind of things.

I don't know what this is all, this is all unfair.

You know, I hate this place, displaced smells, or they

will probably split at the guards.

But these guys in the middle of all this dungeon

and all that, they were praising, and that got their

attention because why it was a very unusual behavior, not normal,

not normal.

You see.

Again, nothing has changed, but but there they had a

choice and their response was different. You know, they were

still deciphing people to some extent, right, they were still

saving people, even though they were busy, busy, suffering. They

were still witnessing to people. How many of us will

say things like, oh, you know, lord, uh you know,

next year, I'm busy. We're always I don't know, an

report week or whatever it is, or AGM.

We you know, we're busy, We're distracted.

These guys were also distracted, but they were still you

know focus, you see, I understand this, you know, because

the war, right, you don't teach the world how to

complain that pretty much the world knows how to complain, right,

just open social media, you know this, right, People complain

by everything like politics, traffic, water, katsa where the few prices,

la subsidies or lack of it. You know, bosses, neighbors,

people parking in uh ev charging places where it's not

supposed to be there those guys. Things are airlines, slight delays, whatever, restaurants,

food not good, et cetera.

Everything.

But the world doesn't understand this is that when somebody

is suffering and having difficulty, they still have hope. That

one they were learning, the people around there were learning.

Somebody who should be disappointed said faith still had faith.

Somebody who was actually walking and suffering and still say, God,

you are so good. And that's why all of us

write agents. Right, we have to do what we're called

to do. We have to praise or generate praise all

the time because those things people cannot pick up from

social media.

We call it.

They call it radical. We call it supernatural, because yeah,

it's really supernatural. What has happened there. So back to

the question what do you generate? What do we generate?

Because Paul and Silas right, they weren't praising in isolation

because we know, right, people are looking, people are listening.

They are praise impacted others. They're not doing this for themselves.

Maybe they thought they was that, but people around them,

just like how I asked it earlier. Right, know, you're

walk in the room, you know the room, the vibe

is different. It's because we have poor and silence here.

Let's all be poor and silas right. I think we

need to understand something. Praise is definitely contagious. So I mean, likewise,

complainings so contagious. Right, you have ever done that before?

The one person starts complaining about something.

And they say, yeah, yeah, I still got the same experience.

You know this, this is my take on it.

Oh, the traffic, this money was horrible, you know, yeah,

I saw I come from Setia Alam or whatever that is.

You know, uh, you know yesterday it was worse.

Oh you go to Bally sorry, Jakata, you know, or

you know bangk Ork. You know, suddenly a whole conference

of traffic experts or you know, traffic complainers come together

to discuss or compagn notes. It's contagious, man, nice, but

you know, same way thing for praise as well. It's

contigious too. When one person gives a testimony up here

to say God is good, another person will say, yeah, yeah,

let me tell you what God did for me as

well in my situation. Can I share my testimony as well?

Oh you know, yeah, yeah, you know, God got really

worked true. And then suddenly faith is if it's rising here,

suddenly faith takes on a new level. Let me bring

it home, okay, ending soon, ready, right, I know it's

very difficult to say things like this. Sometimes right after

a stressful day at work or school. You're tired, you

had a difficult conversation, you were hit by a motorcycle

in traffic, you know, or nearly hit you.

You come home, you open the door. You know, one

thing I have to let you.

Know, right, your your close ones, your roommates, your family,

they were not involved in that day, you know, but

you can sometimes have the power to drag them into

what they're going through. What do you bring home? Do

you bring home frustration? Do you bring home anger, negativity, criticism?

Or do you bring home praise. It's a choice, right,

And I'm not saying pretend that the day was perfect.

I think most of us don't have perfect days, I know,

but we can. Parents, you know what emmesphere do you

going to bring home or future parents, husbands and wives?

You know, what do you want your spouse experience leaders

for those workplaces, and like what do you want to

bring into your meeting when you walk into that meeting,

for those bosses or line managers? When people see you,

what do they feel? Think about that right, not just

what you do on Sunday? Friends, when people join you

join their conversations, what do they rub off you? What

do they feel when you're trying is it? Do they

feel heavior or do they feel lighter the atmosphere? Do

they do they leave the conversation with less hope or

do they actually gain more hope?

Right?

Do they say everything is terrible or do they walk

away and say God is still with me, Thank you Jesus, hallelujah.

And that's what we need to understand. The power you bring.

So wherever you go, like it or not realize you're not,

you're generating something. But I think we need to ought

to be more intentional about this. Now here's the important question.

You'll be like, oh, you know, Pascily, thanks, there's great,

you know all this Sometimes I do even but sometimes

I don't know what to generate? How to generate?

What do I do?

And it's the boness things I'm going to introduce to you,

not not about the notes say it but yeah, but

but you know, just as we we started off by

emphasizing on the Holy Spirit.

Right, the Holy Spirit is what God gave us. You know.

X one eight talks about this in the form of

We talked about Dynamo earlier, Right, Dynamo who comes from

the word do not miss as well?

Right? His power?

Why because phrase generating is not just positive thinking, right,

this nice happy thoughts.

No, they're not dead. You're not talking about everything will

be okay, you know.

But really we're talking about the supernatural work of God

in our lives. Remember the Dynamo picture. If you keep going,

you cannot stop generating. You cannot stop if you do

not pray, that's fine, Create the spirit. Invite the spirit

and don't respond. Invite the spirit and you're tired, Invite

the spirit in as well to discourage Invite the Spirit

in as well. You're disappointed, invite the spirit in as well.

That's how you keep going. Why because recognize the power

comes from.

The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit in tandem with you can generate praise.

Sometimes even my England failed, you know, don't know what

to pray. My English are sorry if you didn't catch that.

Pray in the spirit. My emotions can fail me were human.

Pray in the spirit. My heart feels dry. Pray in

the spirit.

Eventually the spirit producers again will help you produce uh,

why because you're saying God, you are still good. God,

You're faithful God. You've never left me nor forsaken me.

You're my provider, You're my healer. All right, that's okay,

let's be spirit filled. And the last point here, the

last bonus point is in tandem with the Holy Spirit.

We can also go back to God's word, find that promise,

find that some speak the scripture right now. What I

mean by that, you know, the moment you receive bad

news or maybe you've been grieving, you've been disappointed, your

your love life is suffering or someone is you know, uh,

you know, like just make me you have a rummy day.

Go back to the word.

You don't re manufacture new things. You don't reinvent the wheel, right,

the Bible, the Word.

Still there.

You don't even re manufacture things. You can say, God,

you sit, you never leave nor forsake me. So you

can declare God, you are with me. Because the Word says,

so God, you are my shepherd. Right, he says in

the Word, So you say, yeah, you are my shepherd.

Amen to that. God.

You said you are faithful in your word, so we

declare you are faithful. So that's why men like go

back to the Word of God, declare them generate praise

using God's word in tandem with the Holy Spirit. Why

because the enemy understands this. He knows that when you're distracted,

he wants darkness to be around you. But you know

what praise like the Dynamo story, It brings light. Right,

I'm gonna ened it this cute cartoon. Everyone knows this

this right, right. I mean the original was the guy

This is fine because why God is still good? Keep

on generating praise, guys. So let me ask you one

more time, Church, what are you generating when you go

home and you go to world when there's different situation,

when someone disappoint you, when PRAI isn't answered, what are

you generating? Hopefully he's not complaints, so he's not fear.

Hope he's not discouragement. Yeah, because everything may not be perfect,

prayers may not be answered. But still Lord, you are

still worthy, You are still God, Jesus is still in control,

Holy Spirit still with us. Right, your promises are still true.

Don't forget that God is still faithful. Yeah, So praise

generating actually means remember the first point, power of the tongue.

We intentionally use our tongue to bless and not to curse,

to build and not destroy. Right, Praise is a choice,

not dependent on circumstances. Way, it's a choice, not feeling,

not emotions. Praise creates freedom, guys. It transforms not just you,

but the world around you. See Paul and silasts the

world expects.

Christians to complain also because the world understands complaining.

Right, But you know what these guys showed them peace,

they weren't panicking, showed them hope, they weren't afraid, showed

them joy when there's no reason to be joyful. Right

it really it's supernatural. It really create it's freedom among

the people around you or the world around you. And lastly,

we generate praise to the Holy Spirit. And also you know,

using the words to Scripture to back up, because why

life will sometimes be empty if we do not know

how to feel it with the right spirit. Right, So

it's really a posture as well. It's a lifestyle. As

we said, we don't at the beginning, I feel like

I need to breathe in revert.

Because it's not something I'm used to. But over time,

let it be a lifestyle.
