  65. Or because I'm not holding my microphone, you think I'm not talking praise Blood,

  66. I said, Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Amen. And so we

  67. thank God for this beautiful day that he has blessed us with. Amen.

  68. Today I'm going to share with you, as part of a spiritual emphasis a

  69. man's journey, we are going to be learning about Pentecost, Pentecost. Who

  70. has heard about the name Pentecost before anywhere? Who has heard the name Pentecost

  71. before? Amen? Some of you only know Pentecost because it's a name of

  72. a church, you know, the Church of Pentecost. Amen. But today,

  73. by the grace of God, we are going to know what the biblical

  74. description of Pentecost is and how Pentecost benefits as believers and as children of God.

  75. Amen. And so want to take a foundation scripture from Acts chapter one,

  76. verse four to eight. Acts at chapter one, verse four to eight.

  77. If you have something to write with, please write it down. And

  78. the Bible says that. And being assembled together with them, he commanded them

  79. not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father,

  80. which he said, you have heard from me verse five. You for

  81. Ji baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Therefore, when

  82. they had come together They asked him, saying, Lord, will you a

  83. time restore the kingdom of Israel? And he said to them, it is

  84. not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father has put

  85. in his own authority. Vest A says that, but you shall receive power

  86. after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses of

  87. me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, to the ends of the

  88. earth a man. And so this scripture talks about a dialogue between the Lord

  89. Jesus Christ and his disciples before Jesus ascended into heaven. Amen. How many

  90. of you know that Jesus died for you. How many of you know that

  91. after Jesus was buried, he rose up again. How many of you know

  92. that when he rose up again, he went to see his disciples. Amen.

  93. And so when Jesus rose up again, he didn't ascend to Heaven straight

  94. away. He stayed with his He didn't know those for forty days. I

  95. bet many of you didn't know that Jesus stayed his disciples for forty days.

  96. And during the forty days that he was with his disciples, he spoke to

  97. them about the Kingdom of God. Jesus spoke to them about things that pertains

  98. to the kingdom. Jesus revealed treats of the kingdom to them. And when

  99. the forty days was up that Jesus had to ascend to Heaven to his father

  100. and your father and my father, they left Jerusalem and walked to the Mount

  101. of Olives. The Mount of Olives is near Jerusalem. It's a seven hour

  102. walk from Jerusalem. So they went. Jesus went with all of them to

  103. the Mount of Olives. And the Bible says that before he was taken up,

  104. he said to them, don't depart from Jerusalem. Stay in Jerusalem until

  105. the promise of the Father, which I have spoken to you about, comes

  106. to you. Amen. And the promise of the Father that Jesus was speaking

  107. about was the Holy Spirit. Can somebody say the Holy Spirit? Can you

  108. say again the Holy Spirit? Say to yourself, the Holy Spirit is the

  109. promise of the Father to me. Amen. So if you don't know that,

  110. now you know. The Holy Spirit is a gift. The Holy Spirit

  111. is the promise of God for you and I that. And so fast forward.

  112. After Jesus ascended into Heaven, his disciples were wandering. Oh, they

  113. were looking up, our Lord is gone. And just when they looked around,

  114. they saw two men who are angels standing among them. And the men

  115. said to them, the Christ you see going up, he will come again

  116. in the same manner. Amen. And so Jesus is coming again, Oh,

  117. I said, Jesus is coming again. You see those who are not

  118. ready for Jesus is coming there as Soma just did shoe. I said,

  119. Jesus is coming again. Amen. And so after that they left and went

  120. back to Jerusalem. And in Jerusalem they tarried, they stayed, they prayed,

  121. they had fellowship. They were together. They were of one accord until

  122. the gift and the promise of the Father came upon them. Amen. The

  123. significance of the day is that on that day was Pentecost, the festival of

  124. the celebration of the harvest. It was Pentecost, Amen. And this year

  125. Pentecost fell last twenty eighth May twenty twenty three. And true fact for you,

  126. Pentecost always falls on a Sunday every year, because it was that day

  127. God sent his Holy Spirit to us. Amen. And so Jesus sent the

  128. promise of the Father to us, who is the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  129. And so today we want to know what Pentecost is about and why Pentecost is

  130. important to us as believers. Amen, Because up until now I believe many

  131. people only thought Pentecost was the name of a church. But today you will

  132. get to know something else about Pentecost. And so from the scripture we read

  133. and asks one for to aid, there are a few things that are there

  134. for us. They were assembled together, All the people were assembled together.

  135. They came together, they were of one mind, they were one spirit.

  136. Amen. Please tell your neighbor, let's be of one mind. Please tell

  137. your neighbor, let's be of one spirit. Amen. Please tell your neighbor,

  138. let's be of one accord. Amen. Because everything that preceded the day

  139. of Pentecos was preparation for a revival. How many of you know what a

  140. revival is? Who has heard about a revival? Amen? What happened on

  141. the day of Penticos was a revival because God poured his spirit out upon mere

  142. men and women and they became extraordinary. Amen. And so these teachings I'm

  143. teaching you is to prepare you for a revival that is coming to the youth

  144. church. Amen. And when that revival comes, your life will never be

  145. the same again. Your life will never ever be the same again. The

  146. revival will affect your life for your whole generation, and it will affect the

  147. generation that comes after you also, Amen. And so please pay attention so

  148. that you know what to expect. Amen. And so first they were together,

  149. they were of one accord. Secondly, Jesus commanded his disciples and they

  150. obeyed. They didn't go back to Galilee. They stayed in Jerusalem. They

  151. tarried in Jerusalem, and a lot of guests. There were a lot of

  152. guests that came to Jerusalem. And because of that, God did an amazing

  153. thing by sending the Holy Spirit to his disciples. Amen. And so the

  154. promise of the Father came during Pentecost, Amen. And the Holy Spirit was

  155. giving so that the disciples can become witnesses of Jesus Christ. Go to the

  156. court of law and you are being tried. It is in your interest to

  157. have a good witness, because if you have a witness who is not good

  158. to you, you can end up in jail. Amen. The essence of

  159. the Holy Spirit coming was to empower the disciples so that they could speak to

  160. other people about Jesus Christ. And so I'll show you shortly what happened when

  161. the Holy Spirit came. But first let's get some facts about particles. So

  162. Pentecost was the celebration of the beginning of the early weeks of harvest. There

  163. were two types of harvest in a year. In those days, the early

  164. harvest came during the months of May and June. The final harvest came in

  165. the fall. So Pentecost was the celebration of the beginning of the early wheat

  166. harvest, which meant that Pentecost always fell sometime during the middle of the month

  167. of May or sometimes in early June. Amen, how many of you know

  168. that June is the beginning of the sixth month of the year, is the

  169. middle month. So we finished half of the month. This is the border

  170. to the next half. And as my fancy school uses, a lot can

  171. happen in last minute, Amen, So look forward to a lot happening in

  172. last minute. Amen. And so in the Jewish custom, there were several

  173. festivals that people, the Jewish people celebrated. One of them was Passover.

  174. Who has said about Passover? Passover? So Passover was a festival that they

  175. used to celebrate, and I believe they still celebrate Passover and so according to

  176. the Old Testament, they would celebrate the festival of fast fruits fast fruits.

  177. So say, for instance, if you plant wheat and it's time for harvest,

  178. and you harvest the fast back of wheat, that is your fast fruit.

  179. And according to the law or according to the Bible, your fast fruit

  180. is not for you to make bangkuein eat. Your fast fruit is to give

  181. to God. So what they will do they would bake bread with the fast

  182. fruit of their wheat, and they will present it to the high priest,

  183. and the high priest will lift up the bread to God and thank God for

  184. the habit that He has giving to his truth. Amen. And so very

  185. soon I'll teach you on tides and offering, so that you understand there is

  186. a place in offerings called fast fruits. So when we get to that point,

  187. please remember this thing I'm telling you now. Amen. And so during

  188. the time, the high priest will present it the Lord as an offering,

  189. as their fruit. And by that it means that now they can harvest everything

  190. else and consume it. Amen. And so there are three important things about

  191. Penticost, which is Pentecost was a pilgrim festival. Pentecost Penticost, people will

  192. leave one location and then journey to Jerusalem. So remember that Pentecost is a

  193. pilgrim festival, so it means people leave various locations and go on a pilgrimage

  194. to Jerusalem. Amen. So this meant that according to the Jewish law,

  195. that all adult male would come from wherever they are living to Jerusalem and personally

  196. be in attendance during this celebration. So there is no zoom during the celebration.

  197. There is no Google Meet during this celebration. There is no WhatsApp video

  198. call during the celebration, there is no Skype call during this. You have

  199. to be present physically. We have to see flesh and blood standing there physically.

  200. Amen. The second point was that during Pentecost it was declared a holiday,

  201. so then no one would work, so you have people just leisurely going

  202. for walks, celebrating the festival, just enjoying themselves. And also thirdly,

  203. there were certain celebrations and sacrifices and offerings which were prescribed in the law for

  204. the day of Pentecost. So, like I said before, on Pentecost,

  205. the high priest would take two loaves of bread and offer them to the Lord

  206. the wheat bread was made from newly harvested grain. It was made from newly

  207. harvested wheat, and so in on Pentecost in the time of the Apostles was

  208. a great and grand celebration. Just imagine what the types of celebrations that are

  209. usually done in our local vicinities. There's one day court Chalioti, who had

  210. said of Taloti, do you see how people come from everywhere? And the

  211. whole streets of Usu are full of people. So try and imagine that.

  212. So in Israel they would come from all over to celebrate this feast of wheat

  213. with their brethren. Amen. And so let's look at why Pentecost is important

  214. or significant to us as children of God. Because to the Muslims, Penticost

  215. doesn't mean anything to them. They couldn't care about Pentecost. But for you

  216. and I, we have to care about Penticost. So let's go to Act

  217. chapter two. Acts Chapter two, there's one going and the Bible says that

  218. when the day of Pentecost had fully come, remember, Jesus instructed his disciples

  219. to go to Jerusalem and stay there. How many of you remember that?

  220. And so the disciples actually went there. There were one hundred and twenty disciples

  221. who went and waited for the promise of the Father. And so when the

  222. day of Pentacles had fully come, they were all in one accord in one

  223. place. Can you please tell your neighbor one accord. Please say it again,

  224. one accord. Amen. It means they agreed to do the same thing

  225. at the same time, to be in the same place. Amen. Hobada

  226. come, If Habada myself are walking, our destination is here. We are

  227. in one accord because we have the same vision. We have the same destination.

  228. Habada, go back, go this way. If we are going this

  229. way and I decide to lag behind, we might have the same vision.

  230. But we are not properly singed. Now go this way. Now he's going

  231. this way and I'm also going this way. It means we are out of

  232. sync. We are not of one accord. How abad O thinks, come

  233. and sit down. We are not in sync in any way. And so

  234. the disciples were in one accord. So when they went to the Upper Room,

  235. they were there because they chose to be there. They came to the

  236. church meeting because they wanted the promise of the Father. They were not there

  237. because they were forced to be there. They were not there because somebody gave

  238. someone twinta garn as it needs to be there. They were not there because

  239. somebody promised somebody to come. There is banko. You know there are some

  240. people when you promise them food, no matter where the party is, they

  241. will show up. So long as they hear food, they will be there.

  242. They were there in one accord because they had the same mind, they

  243. had the same spirit, they had the same will towards the same vision.

  244. Amen. And so they were all in one accord, these two. And

  245. suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a Russian mighty wind, and it

  246. failed the house where they were sitting. So because of one accord, God

  247. send the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit came. And when the Holy

  248. Spirit came, it didn't come quietly. There was a mighty Russian wind that

  249. failed the house to announce his presence. Next verse, then they appeared to

  250. them divided tongues as of fire, and one sat on each of them.

  251. So when the Holy Spirit Spirit appeared in the spirit, there was tongues of

  252. fire, clothes of tongues of fire on the head of everybody, all the

  253. one twenty of them. Everybody had it as a sign that they had received

  254. the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Next verse, and they were all filled

  255. with the Holy Spirit. Please ask your neighbor, what are you filled with?

  256. Please let them give you an answer. Sammer failed with Coca cola,

  257. Sammer filled with bancou Amen. The Bible says that they were all filled.

  258. So when the Holy Spirit came, there was clothing tongues of fire on all

  259. their heads as a sign that the promise of the Father had arrived. Let's

  260. go back to the scripture. And they began to speak with other tongues as

  261. the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. The sign that they had received the unfailing

  262. of the Holy Spirit was that they began to speak in tongues. And so

  263. if brother Matthew only spoke Houser, now he's speaking Italian, he's speaking Latin.

  264. Somebody is speaking French. Because it is the Holy Spirit who gave them

  265. utterance. Whose defount men from every nation under heaven. Because of the feast

  266. of Pentecost, people had come from every nation of the earth. How many

  267. of you know the number of nations in the earth right now on earth,

  268. in the world, how many nations we have geography students, geography students?

  269. Did I hear ten geography students? How many nations do we have? Five?

  270. Somebody verified, so that he's not giving us wrong information. It's true.

  271. How many I has something here? One? Nine six? Somebody said,

  272. maybe they've created a new nation. You never know, So let's assume

  273. one ninety five. So it means people from one ninety five countries had come

  274. to Jerusalem during the feast of Pentecost Amen next verse. And when the sound

  275. or kid who remembers the sound out of case, the mighty Russian went sound

  276. the sound of revival. When the sound or kid, the multitude came together,

  277. and they were confused because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

  278. They heard the people of God speaking in their own language. There were one

  279. hundred and ninety six or so languages being spoken. Next verse, and they

  280. were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Luke, not these

  281. men, who are they not people from Galilee who speak Galileans? How come

  282. they are speaking our language? Next verse? And how is it that we

  283. hear each of our own language in which we were born? And so the

  284. effects of the revival that came as a result of the presence of the Holy

  285. Spirit. The promise of the Father to us is that he poured out himself

  286. on men, and they began to speak in the Holy Ghost. And when

  287. they began to speak in the Holy Ghost, they began to speak as He

  288. gave them utterance. Amen, let's look at the next verse. And so

  289. these are the names of all the places that people came from. Next verse,

  290. next verse. And we hear them speaking in our own tongues, the

  291. wonderful works of God. And so they were speaking in tongues. But as

  292. far as the people were concerned, they were speaking in their own language,

  293. and so they could understand. Amen, can we get Is there anyone here

  294. we speak Spanish? Anybody? Oh to nepale espanol its speak Spanish? Oh?

  295. Okay, shepherd, shepherd, Emerald? Come who speaks French? Here?

  296. Anybody? Please? We are not talking about the mapel one. We

  297. want the proper French because I'm going to ask you a question. If you

  298. can't say, the means you don't understand French. Francois who speaks French?

  299. Anybody? Nobody speaks French? He it means you don't travel? Do you

  300. travel? Any Does anyone speak French here, I need a French speaker who

  301. can speak French? Anybody? Anyone who can? Okay? You if you

  302. understand French? Come? Can anybody understand French? Who can speak Arabic?

  303. Is there any Arabic speaking Christian? Here? Oh? Nobody? Portuguese?

  304. Where's Paris? It's Paris in change? Paris? Am I? She's not

  305. in Change? Okay? Who can speak Latin Italian? Anybody? Oh?

  306. So? It means that first service people they travel more than you, because

  307. when I mentioned they all came to line up. They all came to line

  308. up. Yes, okay, So who can speak? Come? Anybody who

  309. can speak goad? If you can speak guy, you're sitting means you're lying.

  310. God has seen you? Who can speak God? Can you speak on?

  311. Sometimes? You have a gun name, but I don't know the language?

  312. Are usual? Come? M who can speak fancy? Fancy? Who

  313. can speak Fanty? Oh? I need a fancy speaking person? Please come?

  314. Who can speak away? Which one can you speak? You can speak

  315. out? Okay? Please form one line here for me? Who can speak

  316. Daghatti's house? I who can speak house? Anybody? Okay? If you

  317. can speak any Ghanaian language, please come okay, how about librarian English.

  318. You can speak Liberian English. Okay, I need I need an American American?

  319. Come, yes, come, yes, okay, you are here.

  320. Come stand right here. You see you're not coming? Are you coming?

  321. Amen? If you can't speak any language apart from English, come, I've

  322. not said three? Who can speak three? What language? Ted speak?

  323. Dutch? My guy standing right here, he can speak Dutch. What language

  324. you can need? Speak away? Stand right here? He will speak out

  325. alone? And you speak Avay? Yes? Who can speaking one? Anybody?

  326. No? What? He can speak insima? Well then I'm the only

  327. one who can speak insima, fra any other language? So we have Spanish.

  328. What language can you speak? You can speak Spanish too. Okay,

  329. you can speak another language. She can speak German. So we have Spanish,

  330. German, we have American, we have Anglo, we have God,

  331. we have Fancy, we have Dutch, we have anyway. I need two

  332. more piging? Who can speak Jamaican Patua? What y're saying? Where me

  333. bread and day? Where are they who can speak amen? So the Bible

  334. says that when where are my shepherds shepherd's please stand shepherd youth, churched shepherds

  335. what can you speak, darling and shepherds, Please, shepherds come, if

  336. I's come, we have to dramatize this one very well. Shepherds come and

  337. stand here, h stand right here. No, today I'll not speaking French.

  338. And so the Bible says that the shepherds or the apostles or the disciples

  339. of Jesus Christ hundred and t waiting on God. And suddenly there was a

  340. mighty Russian win. Some of you are not paying attention. I said,

  341. there was a mighty Russian wind that ended where they were the upper room,

  342. and the Holy Ghost fell on them, and they were failed, and there

  343. were tongues of clothing, fire tongues on their head, and they began to

  344. speak in an unknown tongue. They began to speak in the language of the

  345. Holy Spirit, as the Lord gave them utterance. So shepherds three to one.

  346. God, increase the volume, because the people in Jerusalem have to hear

  347. you. So they were praying, they were praying, they were praying,

  348. they were praying, they were praying, they were praying. They were praying.

  349. They were praying because the Holy Ghost had come. They were praying because

  350. the Holy Ghost had come. They were praying because the Holy Ghost had come.

  351. They were praying because of the whole Now they were praying because the Holy

  352. Ghost have come. And now as our brethren who have come from one ninety

  353. six countries were walking on the streets mining their own business. Then our sister

  354. from Liberria could hear somebody speaking librarian. Our sister from Germany could hear somebody

  355. speaking German. Our sister from America could hear somebody speaking American language. Our

  356. brother from the fann my nine players could hear somebody speaking now my nine language.

  357. Our sister from the seaside could hear somebody speaking the seaside. Gone assist

  358. from the other seaside, the fancy land could also hear. Our brother from

  359. dutch Land could also hear somebody speaking Dutch. Our brother from the Adamana side

  360. could also hear his language. And they were amazed. They were amazed because

  361. they could hear their language. Amen, God bless you. Today they didn't

  362. crank cray. Wow. If we leave them, there will be another revival

  363. here, Amen, God bless you. So they could hear let's go back

  364. to the scripture. They could hear they are all language where they came from

  365. from the prayers of the Disciples of Jesus. Isn't that amazing? Oh,

  366. I ask a question, isn't that amazing that you are a Liberrian and you've

  367. gone to your born in Liberia about you are Jewish, You've gone to Jerusalem

  368. to celebrate we harvest, And just when you're minding your own business walking on

  369. the road, you hear someone speaking a language you can understand it was.

  370. It hadn't happened before. It was fantastic. And when they heard the language

  371. of what the people were saying in their prayer, they were even amazed the

  372. more because they could hear them glorifying God and speaking about the mighty works of

  373. God. Please find that scripture for me. They could hear them talking,

  374. speaking and glorifying God. They were glorifying God. They were glorifying God.

  375. And so I'm going to give you. I'm going to speak English, and

  376. then you tell us the version of it in your language. And so imagine

  377. I was part of the disciples and I was spraying the Holy Spirit. But

  378. from what I was praying, he could hear, Oh God, you are

  379. great. How will he say, Oh God, you are great? Yes,

  380. yes to a sound my God. So he could hear. Though he

  381. could hear me speak pray. He could hear they could hear the disciples praying.

  382. What he could hear from his way he came from was yes to al,

  383. because God you are great. He could hear them speaking of the mighty

  384. works of God. Amen. Dutch bro tell us God tend water into wine.

  385. What's his water? Now wine? Please say it again? Water now

  386. wine? Repeats say this people. They don't know, they've not troubled,

  387. So say it slowly. Quote hate water wine. Amen. So imagine they

  388. were praying, Oh my God, isn't God a wonderful God? Oh?

  389. I ask you a question? Isn't God wonderful? Amen? So they were

  390. praying. They were only praying. Le car tal lah blah blah blah,

  391. zama beli belie and some of them will do this. They will do this

  392. one car tah blah blah blah. Someone doing kid tell it belie. And

  393. what he could hear, what's what he said? I need to go to

  394. school to to you know, to say that one? Amen? Please tell

  395. us one more time? Winemen. Can you shout an amen? Amen?

  396. And so the Dutch, the Jewish Man who was born in dutch Land could

  397. hear this. So he was amazed, and all his family people that he

  398. had come with, were amazed that a challenge is not only household that people.

  399. They are speaking our language. Please give it to Aunti, fancy Aunti,

  400. Please tell them what the meaning of God. You are so great?

  401. Amen, Oh the French personers landed from the moon, Come and go and

  402. join the line. Amen. Are you talking to Jesus on your airport?

  403. Is Jesus talking to you on the airport? If Jesus is not talking,

  404. they removed. Amen. You see they were hearing their own language, just

  405. out of the prayers of the disciples. Amen, galdy, my God is

  406. so big, so strong, and so mighty. That's nothing my God cannot

  407. do. Translate, so you see where she's coming from. They don't talk

  408. into the microphone. Please talk into the microphone. My God is so big,

  409. you wonder, m hm. So strong, My God is so strong,

  410. and yet my God is so mighty. There is nothing my God cannot

  411. do. They were, and so they were praying. They were praying in

  412. tongues. But then our God Jewish brothers and sisters could hear them giving glory

  413. and speaking about the mighty works of God. You move mountains, Oh God,

  414. to two two the mountain. Amen. And so though they were praying

  415. in his language, he could only hear you move mountains, you cause the

  416. walls to fall. Those are the mighty works of God. Because who can

  417. move a mountain? Nobody. It's only God, you understand. And so

  418. they could only relate. And they were perplexed and marveled at the same time.

  419. To be perplex means to be worried. They were excited and worried at

  420. the same time. I was speak English, but say the American version of

  421. it. My God, you are wonderful, so wonderful. Amen. And

  422. so then they were praying. But the American Jew had come to Jerusalem for

  423. penticos. Could hear that? Amen? So why there is nothing you cannot

  424. do your beginner level. So why are you comfortable with anything about the mighty

  425. words of God. You don't have a vocabulary for that yet. Okay,

  426. So maybe let's just say for the papers of this illustration, she had something

  427. in German. Amen, she had something in German. Amen, let's give

  428. it to our sister. Yes, defile, is that cluke? Did you

  429. hear that? So they were speaking tongues, but there was one tongue that

  430. was standing out because it was German that she could understand. Amen, So

  431. tell us also about how great you are? Oh God, Yes, yes,

  432. it's the same thing. Oh so how about you you opened that?

  433. Is it English? It's close to English? Yes, so librarian English is

  434. close to English. So it's pretty much the same thing. So just imagine

  435. they were praying in tongues, but it wasn't Queen's English, It wasn't any

  436. any she was hearing, but she was hearing the librarian local dialect. The

  437. wonder when you go to the village, you hear them speak, you understand,

  438. And so she knew that they were praising God and speaking of his mighty

  439. ways. Amen, please give it to the Spanish lady. Then sinks,

  440. my soul, my saved your God to the how great? Now it can'temn

  441. me almost, Amen, please give it to her. Oh yeah, continuing,

  442. that's part too, How great thou art? How great thou art?

  443. Because they were praying. Yes, So if they were praying, and what

  444. they were praying was of the mighty works of God, so then in their

  445. prayer that the interpretation of it. That then thinks, my soul, my

  446. savior God to thee, How great thou art, How great thou art,

  447. How great thou art? And they are still praying in tones. Then for

  448. you as the listener, you are hearing it and hearing it and hearing it,

  449. and you are amazed. The woman they dial up, then you are

  450. wow, the guy is speaking my language. Have you seen a Guanian who

  451. was going to the US and he thinks he lives in a white neighborhood and

  452. all of us said, he hears, I would say bravery. Then they

  453. are so excited. Someone said, child, I have to get a knock.

  454. That is how they became Amen. Then sings my soul, my savior

  455. got to thee, How great thou art? If you can sing it in

  456. phrase, I sing? You want to say something else? What what you're

  457. saying is not what I'm saying. You say, God, you are great?

  458. Please did you hear her? Ah? We are speaking about the mighty

  459. works of God. Open your mouth and talk. Amen. So you see

  460. they were praying in the Holy goals because the promise of the Father. Who

  461. is the promise of the Father? Hey, who said God, who is

  462. the promise of the Father? I'm talking to you, who is the promise

  463. of the Father. Who is the promise of the Father? Who is the

  464. promise of the Father? Amen? Some of you are not show because you're

  465. not paying attention. Amen. When the Holy Spirit came and they were filled

  466. with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in tongues, the people

  467. who are come to Jerusalem could hear their own dialect out of the prayer they

  468. were praying, Amen, please be seated. Let's call for them. They

  469. could hear. Amen. So let's go to the next verse, verse seven.

  470. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Look,

  471. are not all these who speak Galileans? And so they didn't expect to

  472. hear their language from these people. Amen, next verse, Please, and

  473. how is it that we hear our own in our own language in which were

  474. born? Next verse? So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to

  475. one another, whatever could this mean? Next verse? And you see,

  476. in as much as there are people who were amazed and perplexed and who heard

  477. about the wonderful works of God, there were also people who were marcus.

  478. There were people who were mocking them that these people are drunk with our petition.

  479. There were people who were mocking them that these people would leave them.

  480. They are smoking something cheap, they are high on something cheap. But the

  481. glory is just talking nonsense in their head. Amen. So you see,

  482. in order to be a partaker of the revival, you need to be of

  483. one mind, one's spirit, and to be in one accord in end at

  484. those are the next verse. And while they were mocking them to say that,

  485. oh, these people are drunk, then the power of God that had

  486. come upon Peter gave Peter the audacity to stand and pete and said, men

  487. of Galilee, men of Judea, and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let

  488. this be known to you, and heed my words. Next verse, For

  489. these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third

  490. hour of the day. Next verse. But this is what was spoken off

  491. by the prophet Joel. Now, what had happened on Pentecost was prophesided by

  492. a prophet called Joel a long time ago before it happened, and he quoted

  493. what was prophesied, and the Bible says, and it shall come to pass

  494. in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my spread

  495. on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall propheside your young men shall

  496. see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. Amen. If the time

  497. this happened over two thousand years ago was referred to as the last days,

  498. do you know we are in the last days? Amen? Do you know

  499. we are in the last days? And God is pouring out his spirit on

  500. all flesh. Not the mocas, not the scofface, not those who make

  501. fun of the things of God. But God is pouring out his spirit on

  502. those who are of one accord, of those who are one mind, of

  503. those who are one spirit, who are waiting and tarrying on God. Those

  504. are the people that God is pouring out his spirit upon. Amen. And

  505. so if you are one person with one mind, as the Church is,

  506. then be prepared to be a recipient of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

  507. Can I hear a loud and samen? Amen? And this revival is coming,

  508. and it's coming very soon. By the time we finished the month of

  509. June, your life will not be the same again. Oh, I thought

  510. you say a better, Amen, I said, by the time we finished

  511. June, your life will never be the same again. Amen. And so

  512. the reason or the importance of Pentecost is that on Pentecost Sunday, the Holy

  513. Spirit failed the church with power. Amen. And you see, after Peter

  514. stood up and preached, God gave him the Holy Spirit, gave him boldness,

  515. and he preached. And on that day three thousand people lifted up their

  516. hands that I want to receive Jesus. I thought, you club for Jesus.

  517. Hey, I don't blame you because you don't understand the soul winning effects

  518. that comes from the Holy Spirit. I'll teach you that three thousand people one

  519. day, three thousand people gave their lives to Jesus. A week later they

  520. went to preach somewhere and did miracles, and two thousand people said I want

  521. to join your church. And he kept going in thousands, thousands, thousands,

  522. thousands. So the first significance or importance is that on Penticos Sunday,

  523. the Holy Spirit failed the church with power and added three thousand people. And

  524. then, can you help me with the sound. And so according to the

  525. Acts Chapter two accounts which he just read, after Jesus ascended to heaven,

  526. all his disciples gathered and prayed and waited for the gift of the Holy Spirit,

  527. which is the promise of the Father. Amen. And so the second

  528. point is that the promise of the Father was prophesied in the Old Testament.

  529. And so don't be that type of Christian who says that, O, me,

  530. I don't read the Old Testament. Me I only read a New Testament.

  531. And even the New Testament, I only read the Gospels. Don't be

  532. that kind of Christian because you cut yourself short. Amen. If you are

  533. studying the Word of God, then you have to know the Word of God

  534. from beginning to end, so you can't have perspective to it. Amen.

  535. So let's study the Word of God from beginning to end so we fully understand.

  536. So in the book of Joel two twenty eight, as we read,

  537. the promise of the Father, which is the Holy Spirit, was prophesied even

  538. before it came to pass. Amen. And Jesus said to his disciples that

  539. I am not leaving you comfortless, but the helper, who is the Holy

  540. Spirit, whom the Father will send you in my name. He would teach

  541. you all things and bring you to remembrance of all that I have said to

  542. you. Amen. That is one aspect of the Holy Spirit. The Holy

  543. Spirit is a helper, and he's here to help us. Last week Sunday,

  544. a young lady gave a testimony that she was going to write a Cambridge

  545. exam and because it was very wide, as there was a wide subject,

  546. she didn't know where to study. She only prayed to God. The Lord

  547. Holy Spirit helped me. Let me pass. If I pass, our come

  548. and give a testimony. And she went to write the exam. And when

  549. the test result came, she had ninety four percent. Amen. Who I

  550. thought you'd be clapping. Amen. You see those who are not clapping.

  551. Those are the people who gets twelve percent and fifteen percent and twenty percent.

  552. Amen. So the Holy Spirit can help you. The Holy Spirit can teach

  553. you all things. Amen. So as a child of God, you have

  554. the advantage of an insider who can give you more information. Unlike unbelievers who

  555. don't have access to the Holy Spirit. You have access to the Holy Spirit.

  556. So you can ask the Holy Spirit to teach you things you don't know,

  557. and he will teach you so that you become outstanding. Amen. Or

  558. I said Amen. And so today's message is to scratch the surface of what

  559. we are doing in the month of June. Amen. And so in this

  560. month we are on spiritual emphasis and Our spiritual emphasis is on the Holy Spirit.

  561. Amen. So all the scriptures have given to you, kindly take time

  562. and study study on your own. Tell God to give you your a relation

  563. of His word. Amen. And God will help us all greatly. Can

  564. I hear your amen? Amen? Unlet's bound our heads quickly. Amen.

  565. If you are here, you are not born again. You don't know Jesus.

  566. Jesus is not a lord over your life. You want to be a

  567. beneficiary of the promise of the Father, which is promised only to born again

  568. believers. You are here, you want to be born again. You're saying

  569. in your heart, pastor, pray for me, I want to be born

  570. again. Just lift your hands above your head and let's say a short word

  571. of prayer together a man, so that God will show you great message so

  572. you also become born again. Amen. Father will give you thanks for your

  573. word that has come today. We bless your name because you're ever faithful Jesus

  574. precious name. Can I hear your loudest amen? And can we collab for

  575. Jesus for sending us the Holy Spirit? Amen? Oh? Are you clapping

  576. for the Lord Jesus? Amen? And I want to teach you this thing.

  577. We need to be deliberate about thanksgiving to God, all right, And

  578. so I want you to say the Lord, I thank you for sending us

  579. the Holy Spirit. Amen. That is an awesome prayer in itself. Amen.

  580. So before you go to bed, say Lord, I thank you for

  581. sending us your Holy Spirit. Amen. Let's welcome Shepherd Jason together. Oh

  582. white clapping or are you clapping? Put your hands together for Jesus
