To just close our eyes wherever you are, close your eyes, and in
-
fifteen seconds I want you to say, whatever it is that is on your
-
heart, let the Word transform your heart. Asks that the Word will renew
-
your mind. That as the Word of God is coming to you, it
-
will not come as another folk tale or another story. It will not come
-
to you as ordinary words. But whatever it is that God wants you to
-
hear and grasp and take home with you, that you will not be denied.
-
In the Mighty name of Jesus, come against distractions. We come against
-
the spirit of sleep. I want you to say, you want to open
-
up your mouth and say it. Say, I will not sleep during the
-
service. I will not be distracted. Father, help me to keep my
-
focus and my gaze on you. That as the Man of God is speaking,
-
and as you are speaking through him, I will not be family.
-
I will not take the words for granted. I will write them down.
-
You give me grace to understand it in my own capacity the Mighty name of
-
Jesus. And finally, you want to pray that whatever darkness, whatever lie
-
it is, the enemy has projected to us, as the Word of God
-
is coming, as the Word of God is light, as the Word of
-
God is life. It will take away that lie, It will take away
-
that darkness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we have prayed. And
-
now with a standing ovation and with all the Jesus joy in your heart and
-
all the honor you have for the vessel of God, I want you to
-
put your hands together, then receive Reverend run Sarelli. Oh keep clapping,

-
Amen. And before we take our seats, I want you to move out
-
of your seat and greet five people and tell them you're welcome to church.
-
Oh, move, out of your seat and tell five people you're welcome to
-
church. Tell five people it's good to see you in church. Say I'm
-
glad to see you the church, said a Lord to somebody, say it's
-
good to see you back after a long long time. Amen. Amen.
-
Oh. Amen, didn't you talk to somebody? Did you speak to somebody?
-
You speak to five people. So you've made five new friends potential friends.
-
Amen. So we thank God for bringing us together again. Amen.
-
Isn't it a lovely thing to be in church. It's a fantastic thing to
-
be in church. Amen. And so please be seated in the presence of
-
the Lord. Amen. How many of our friends are returning from school?
-
If you are returning from school, please stand. Let's welcome you back.
-
Anyone returning from school. Amen. Oh, let's clap our hands and welcome
-
our brethren back. Amen. Some of them have graduated, Dixon, have
-
you also graduated? Not yet? Amen, you'll be there. Amen.
-
Welcome back. Please be seated. Amen. Is there anyone worshiping with us
-
for the very first time? Anyone here for the first time. Anybody worshiping
-
with us for the first time? Amen? Oh, please standing, let's
-
welcome you. We have one person worshiping with us for the very first time.
-
Amen. You're welcome. Amen. This is Action Chapel International Youth Church.
-
Amen. You're most welcome. Amen. Please be seated. Amen.
-
All of you doing the siren sounds that how many people have you brought to
-
church? Amen? Next we bring somebody to church. Hallelujah, and so
-
on. Behalf of our Father in the Lord. The Archbishop Nicholas welcome you
-
or to church this morning. Amen. The month of June has been declared
-
by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as our month of spiritual and phasis.
-
Amen. So in the month of June, we are studying everything that we
-
can about God. We are studying every and anything we can about the Holy
-
Spirit. Amen. And so last week, by the grace of God,
-
we started our teaching with Pentecost. How many of you are in church last
-
week? Amen? We started our teaching with Pentecost. And before Jesus ascended
-
to Heaven, he said to his disciples go back to Jerusalem and tarry there
-
and wait for the promise of the Father. Between last week and this week,
-
we've come to understand that the promise of the Father is the Holy Spirit.
-
Because when they did go and waited and prayed and saw the face of
-
God. The Holy Spirit will poured out on them as a mighty Russian wind.
-
And many miracles happened after that that many people who were far from far
-
away could understand their prayer, they could understand their tongues, and they could
-
hear how they were speaking about God's marvelous works. And because of that,
-
it led three thousand people to Christ in one day. Amen. And so
-
we've also come to understand that the purpose of the Holy Spirit in our lives
-
is to empower us, give us power, for you shall receive power after
-
the Holy Spirit has come upon you. And the power we have received or
-
we are about to receive, is to make us a witness of Jesus Christ.
-
Can I hear? And Amen? And so today we want to speak.
-
I want to speak to you about the promise of the Father, who
-
is the promise of the Father, who is the Holy Spirit. Amen,
-
Blessing. I'm going to tend this off because it's distracting me. Next week
-
we can try it. Amen. And so let's take our foundation scripture from
-
Acts chapter one, verse four to five. Acts chapter one, four to
-
five, and the Bible says that being assembled together with them, he commanded
-
them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the
-
Father. If you have a Bible, underline the promise of the Father,
-
which he said, you have heard from me from John truly baptized you with
-
water. But you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from
-
now. And so this was before Jesus ascended to heaven. For those of
-
you who are in church last week, you you got to know something about
-
Jesus that when he resurrected, he didn't go straight to heaven. He stayed
-
on earth with his disciples for forty days. And during the forty days he
-
spoke to them about the Kingdom of God. He spoke to them about the
-
purpose of God. He spoke to them about the will of God. And
-
on the day of ascension, on the mount of all lives, he said
-
to them, don't leave Jerusalem. Stay until the promise of the Father comes.
-
Amen. Let's look at another scripture, asked chapter one eight as another
-
foundation scripture asked Chapter one, verse eight, and the Bible says that but
-
you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you
-
shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and
-
to the ends of the earth a man. Last week, also while we're
-
treating Pentecost, we understood that Pentecost is not just the name of a church,
-
but it is actually a festival that is celebrated in the Jewish custom in
-
Israel every year. And usually Pentecost falls between the end of May getting into
-
June. And surprisingly Pentecost always falls on a Sunday. Every year, Pentecost
-
falls on a Sunday. So on this Sunday, on Pentecost, when Pentecost
-
was fully come, that God poured out his spirit upon the one twenty disciples
-
in the Upper Room. And the Bible says that the Holy Spirit came as
-
a mighty rushing wind. A man who wants a mighty Russian wind experience in
-
their lives. Anybody here you want a mighty rushing When Bible says that the
-
Holy Spirit came suddenly. Amen, and so please tell your neighbor there will
-
be suddenly in your life that will turn your life around. A man,
-
And the Bible goes on to say that after the Holy Spirit came, there
-
was clear evidence of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the apostles and the
-
disciples. There was a fire clove of tongue on each peasant's head, and
-
the Bible says that they began to speak in other tongues. They began to
-
speak new tongues, and the people who had come from all over the world
-
in Jerusalem could hear and understand the disciples speaking about the mighty works of God.
-
Amen. Last week we demonstrated it. Here we had people who can
-
speak German standing here. Some could speak Dutch, some could speak Freend,
-
some could speak Houser. They were speaking about the mighty works of God.
-
And because of that, it led three thousand men to give their lives to
-
Jesus Christ in one day. So today we are going to explore to know
-
who is this promise of the of the Father. Who is the promise of
-
the Father? Amen. Let's look at Second Contiens, chapter thirteen, verse
-
fourteen. Second Contients, Chapter thirteen, verse fourteen, And in this verse
-
Bible passage, Apostle Paul wrote a very beautiful benediction, and in the youth
-
church we say this benediction each time we close service. He wrote, the
-
grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of
-
the Holy Spirit be with you or somebody say amen, Amen? And so
-
Apostle Paul showed us a great way in order to be able to commune with
-
the Holy Spirit. To know someone requires you to have fellowship with them.
-
Right, who has a best friend? Here? Anybody? Does anybody have
-
a best friend? Eman? You have a best friend? Please come,
-
you also have a best friend? Best friend? You're right? Or die
-
that they would do. They will go to heaven an dear for you,
-
or they are not there yet. Amen, you have a best friend?
-
Why is the person your best friend? Because I know the person like about
-
very close, like very very close. You know the person, you are
-
very very close. You are tied. The person knows your secrets. Yes,
-
you know the person's secrets. You know what the person likes. Yes,
-
you know the person's free food, You know the person's best day.
-
Yes, you know the favorite sleeping position of the person. No, exactly
-
exactly, But some people, they know some of the best friends. We
-
know them when they sleep. They can't sleep on the bed with somebody else
-
on the bed because they will fight with the person on the bed. They
-
will kick the person of the bed by the time morning comes, their legs
-
where the pillow is. Oh, I can see some witnesses here and their
-
head is down down down there. So you know you know your friend.
-
So when we give you bankoo to eat, because the person is your friend,
-
you can't sit and share the food equally nicely. Yes, hypothetically yes.
-
So it means you have convenient with a person. You have fellowship with
-
a person. How many times do we do you talk to the person,
-
like if the persons in school, maybe like once a week. The person
-
is at home most of the time, every day, every night, every
-
morning, free nights, goals, they adjusting. That's his fellowship. Amen,
-
thank you very let's load for her. So to be able to have
-
fellowship with someone who requires you to know them right, to be able to
-
have communion sits down and eat share a bowl off food with meat only one
-
meet to be able to share it together requires some relationship. It requires some
-
fellowship test income. My friend from Nigeria, Come, I've forgotten your name.
-
No, come, you're fine, he said his final He doesn't even
-
know what I'm going to ask him. You are fine, be fine.
-
Okay, let's get somebody else. If I come our actress, come quickly.
-
Just imagine you have not seen this young man before? You know who
-
he is? You know where he lives? Do you know what school he
-
goes to? Do you know what's his favorite food is? Do you know
-
anything about him? Have you ever seen him before? You know her?
-
Do you know where she lives? Do you know what school she goes to?
-
Do you know her favorite Bible verse? Do you know what she likes
-
to do in secrets? You don't know anything about hey. So for two
-
strangers who don't know themselves, there is no elemental fellowship. And if there
-
is no elemental fellowship, if we put a bowl of Joeloffe rice here and
-
we say share, the likelihood that this girl will say that I'm not interested
-
because I don't know this guy. How can I eat with him? Or
-
if they decide to eat, a civil war can erupt because the young man
-
can say, let's eat the chicken fast. I want to eat the chicken
-
fast, and the lady will say I want to eat the rice fast,
-
and before you know it's they're throwing your hands and the food will be on
-
the floor. Do you know that a civil war has erupted just because of
-
our confirm before. Yes, so a civil war has erupted just because of
-
food. So a lack of knowing prevents a lack of fellowship, and it
-
prevents a lack of communion. I hope you understand. Thank you so much.
-
Please ask claud for them, and so Apostle Paul. In the benediction
-
he wrote he ended with the communion of the Holy Spirit right now. The
-
Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father. Please tell yourself, the Holy
-
Spirit is the promise of the Father. An end and you see, because
-
God is not a liar or a man who should lie. When he promised,
-
he actually gave. And God is still giving. If you only avail
-
yourself to receive, God will give you the Holy Spirit. If you become
-
born again, God will give you the Holy Spirit. So God is still
-
giving the promise of the Father, which is the Holy Spirit. But it
-
doesn't end there, because there is an assignment for every child of God.
-
And the assignment is that you become a witness of Jesus Christ. That is
-
the end game. The power you will receive. But the power is not
-
for people to bow down to you. The power is for you to be
-
able to tell somebody else about Christ Jesus. I hope you understand. So
-
like a money money, please stand if I give you this microphone, I
-
say, tell us about your best friend. You can't tell us about your
-
best friend. Confidently you understand. We don't need to put the gun to
-
a man his head for her to be able to tell us about her best
-
friend in the same vein. Because you have received the power of God,
-
which is the promise of the Father and the Holy Spirit, the outcome of
-
your life is that you should be able to confidently tell somebody about Jesus Christ,
-
and not just tell them norn for things. So tell them biblical truths
-
about who Jesus is. Amen. And so today we are going to go
-
on a journey to understand who the promise of the Father is to us.
-
Amen. So in the Benediction the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many
-
people won't tell them. Have you seen this word before grace? Say,
-
oh, grace, she's in my school. We are not talking about the
-
grace in your school. We are talking about the grace that has meaning.
-
And the meaning of grace in the Greek is ultimate in beauty. You see
-
when Jesus comes into your life, he makes your life beautiful. Me,
-
God has made my life beautiful. Has Jesus made anybody's life beautiful? That
-
is the grace ultimating beauty. So in your family they thought you would amount
-
to nothing, but Jesus came your way and my God. Now when they
-
are looking for people to make decisions, they look for you, because Charley,
-
you have some wisdom that they don't have, because Christ Jesus has made
-
you very, very beautiful. Amen. The next meaning for grace is favor
-
that God has favored us. We didn't deserve it, but God has chosen
-
to favor us because of Christ Jesus. Amen. That what people could wish
-
for, what they wish for that never came to pass in their lives,
-
by the grace of God. By this grace of God, we are living
-
it. Amen. So we are living somebody's wish. We are the reality
-
of somebody's wish. Amen. Can I hear an Amen? Amen? And
-
the third meaning of grace is referred to a praiseworthy work. What Jesus did
-
for us is praiseworthy. There accounts have a song said bidature, and if
-
there was anything beyond thanksgiving, it is you that I would give it to
-
because it is praiseworthy. I hope you understand. And so the grace of
-
our Lord Jesus Christ, the thing that makes our life beautiful, the love
-
of God, God's sole love the world that He gave that because of the
-
love of God, we also who didn't know God. And we're far away
-
and where idol worshipers, that we also now have the privilege to be called
-
the sons and daughters of God. That love of God and the communion,
-
that fellowship we have with the promise of the Father, who is the Holy
-
Spirit. So you see, our benediction is complete only when we begin to
-
get to the place of communion with the Holy Spirit. Can I hear your
-
amen? Amen? And so who is this Holy Spirit? And before we
-
attempt to find out who the Holy Spirit is, before you walk with any
-
person, you need to know the person. You understand, The Bible says
-
that can two walk together except they agree, Trevor, come, if our
-
destination is over there and we don't agree, that we should all go to
-
that destination. You'll be going and I will be going here because I don't
-
agree. So the Bible says, can two walk together except they agree.
-
Now, can you thank you? Can you walk with the Holy Spirit if
-
you don't know him? Can you have fellowship with someone you don't know?
-
Can you have communion with someone you don't know? When you go out there
-
and what you call it that Jehovah's witness. People come, they don't believe
-
in the Holy Spirit. When they come and they tell you, Chi,
-
I'm giving you a book, read it. It's good for you. And
-
you you don't know the Holy Spirit. Do you think they can't deceive you?
-
They will because you don't know the Holy Spirit, and so you don't
-
have fellowship with them, You don't have communion with him. But it is
-
to your own interests and to your own benefits that you have a relationship with
-
the Holy Spirit. You have a fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and you
-
have communion with the Holy Spirit, because that is what God has intended for
-
your life. Can I hear an amen? Amen? So, knowing the
-
Holy Spirit or the Promise of the Father requires acknowledging him. It requires acknowledgements.
-
You need to acknowledge that the Holy Spirit exists. You need to acknowledge
-
that the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, you need to acknowledge.
-
Because if I'm standing here and I'm your pastor, and you come in
-
in the morning, and you come and pass to and fro, you don't
-
even say hello to me. You keep pat I've done that before. I
-
usually stand at the back when some of you are coming to chather. You
-
just walk straight. You don't even know how to say a good morning,
-
no acknowledgements. You know how to say hello, no acknowledgements. And so
-
if the Holy Spirit is there and you don't acknowledge him, he will not
-
benefit you in any way. Amen. So Prophaps Chapter three, verse five
-
to six. Prophaps Chapter three, verse five to six. The Bible says,
-
trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your
-
own understanding. In all your ways? Does it say some of your ways?
-
Does it say a few of your ways? He says, in all
-
your ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct your parts. Amen.
-
And So knowing who the Holy Spirit is starts with acknowledgement of who he is.
-
Amen. The moment you acknowledge who he is, then you open yourself
-
to receive him as who he is. Amen. And So who exactly is
-
this wonderful Holy Spirit, that we can have fellowship with him and can work
-
with him and get to know him. Amen. In the Bible, there
-
are various metaphors used in the Bible to describe the Holy Spirit. In certain
-
portions of the Bible, they referred to the Holy Spirit as water. In
-
the Book of Acts, the Holy Spirit was referred to as a mighty rushing
-
wind. Sometimes it's referred to as oil. When Jesus was being baptized,
-
the Holy Spirit came in a form of a dove. Doesn't make the Holy
-
Spirit a dove. No. When the Holy Spirit is referred to as water
-
for washing and cleansing, doesn't make the Holy Spirit water. No. But
-
it's a metaphor. A metaphor is a form of synonym that is used to
-
describe the action in which the Holy Spirit operated during that time. Amen.
-
And so it's very important that you have a better rooted understanding of who the
-
Holy Spirit is so that it helps your walk with him. Amen. And
-
so let's find out some attributes of the Lord Holy Spirit as God. Amen.
-
And so who is the Holy Spirit? If anyone should ask you who
-
is the Holy Spirit, your first answer should be that the Holy Spirit is
-
God. Can we say together, the Holy Spirit is God. Please say
-
it again. Do you believe what you're saying? Please say it again.
-
Amen. You see there are some people. They are yawning, Some have
-
started sleeping. Do you know why, because the devils in their household.
-
They don't want them to know the Holy spirits because when they get to know
-
the Holy Spirit, that devil will not have power over them again. The
-
devil will not have power over their minds again. So they are yawning.
-
Someone changing the years right now, I've repented. If I had it repented,
-
I will take a picture of them and put them on the screen.
-
Yes, I did have to some boy. He hasn't slept again. Amen.
-
So knowing the Holy Spirit is in our interest. Amen. The Holy
-
Spirit is God. And so like God the Father and God the Son,
-
the Holy Spirit is a member of the Godhead. Amen. The Holy Spirit
-
is not less in power. The Holy Spirit is nor less in majesty.
-
The Holy Spirit is nor less in authority in dominion. The Holy Spirit has
-
the same attribute as God. Amen. So the Holy Spirit is God.
-
Let's look at Matthew chapter twenty eight, verse nineteen. If they ask you,
-
how do you know the Holy Spirit is God quote Matthew twenty eight,
-
verse nineteen. For them, Jesus said to them, go therefore and make
-
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the
-
Son, and the Holy Spirit. So Jesus put the Holy Spirit on the
-
same level of authority as God, the Father, and God the Son.
-
Can I hear your amen? Amen? And so also hope Jesus sets the
-
same power and glory for the Holy Spirit as the Father and the Son.
-
Amen. The second point is that the Holy Spirit is God in that he
-
carries out the work that only God can do. What the Holy Spirit cannot
-
do does not exist. Oh, I thought, you say, an amen.
-
What's the Holy Spirit cannot do? Does not exist. So the Holy
-
Spirit does what only God can do. That makes him God. Amen.
-
And so the Holy Spirit carried out their creation. The Holy Spirit created the
-
heavens and the earth. The Bible says in Genesis one two. Let's go
-
to Genesis after one verse two, the earth was without form and void,
-
and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God
-
was hovering over the face of the waters. If you read further, you
-
go to a place and God said let there be and the wars. Creation
-
came to being by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. And so
-
the Holy Spirit created the heavens and the earth. So the Holy Spirit is
-
the master architect of creation. The Holy Spirit is words, the master architect
-
of creation. If you look at if you consider yourself, your hair,
-
you consider it, the details of you, the complexity of you as a
-
human being, you should know that God is amazing and indeed he's the master
-
architect. Amen. Secondly, the Holy Spirit causes people to be born again.
-
John Chapter three, verse five to seven. The Holy Spirit causes people
-
to be born again. There's a story that Papa has said many times about
-
when he became born again. He had gone to Condola k Night Club and
-
on his way back there was somebody preaching, and before he saw it,
-
he was in front lifted his hands to give his life to Christ. That
-
was by the power of the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit works on
-
people and brings them conviction so that they give their lives to Christ. Amen.
-
The Holy Spirit reproves the world of sin, of righteousness, and of
-
judgment. With everything that is going on in the world. It is when
-
you have the Holy Spirit in you that you will be able to tell that
-
this thing they are doing is very sinful. Amen. That they will say
-
that you are a boy you are born, and they will say you are
-
not a boy when you grow up and you become eighteen. That you can't
-
choose whether you're a girl or a boy, or you can't choose whether you're
-
you're a butterfly or a lizard, or you can't choose whether you are hippopotamus
-
or you're a cow, you're a john. Amen. So when you have
-
the Holy Spirit, you'll be able to see that. Nah, this one
-
get it's not right. Amen. It is also by the power of the
-
Holy Spirit that devils are cast out. Who can cast out devils from a
-
human being? Isn't it God who has the power to do that? Amen?
-
It is God who has the power to do that. Amen. So
-
that makes the Holy Spirit God. You can take the scripture down Martin chapter
-
twelve, verse twenty eight, for his power casts out devils and he reproves
-
the world of sin Ralph righteousness and a judgment. You can use John chapter
-
sixteen, verse number eight. Amen. The third point, the third main
-
point about who the Holy Spirit is is that the Holy Spirit has all the
-
attributes of God, the Holy Spirit. It has all the attributes of God.
-
Amen. Someone will come. Who do you look like your father or
-
your mummy? Your father? So someone looks like his father? Amen?
-
So does your head look like your father? Said the same shape? And
-
your cheeks your daddy has, okay, And your nose your daddy, your
-
mummy's nose, daddy's nose. It didn't wants mommy to win some your chain
-
to his daddy. So when we see you and we pass here and we
-
see daddy day, we should be able to see the art. This boy
-
looks like this man. Perhaps he's his father. How about your heights mommy
-
or daddy? Now my mommy got it? Daddy got it? No one
-
okay? So in between okay, they shared. Amen. So you see,
-
if you look at someone, they are physical attributes that tell us of
-
where he's coming from, who he is. I hope you understand. Thank
-
you. Someone. If you see my daughters, nobody should tell you that
-
they are my daughters because they have my attributes. Amen. Though they are
-
girls, they have fine blood, so they have my attributes. Can someone
-
say amen, amen, you also have fine children? Okay, say amen?
-
Amen? So the attributes of God. That makes the Holy Spirit God.
-
Also is that only God is eternal. Only God is eternal. Only
-
God is everlasting. Who else is everlasting? Do you know anybody who is
-
everlasting? Please? Q is not ever last thing? Because when we're grown
-
up, we talk was the main character tally we've grown up and he's not
-
found any way. Amen. The Bible says that all things shall pass away,
-
but my word, which is God the sun, shall remain. Amen,
-
all things. So nothing is ever lasting but God. So Hebrews chapter
-
nine, verse fourteen. Please let's read Hebrews chapter nine, verse fourteen.
-
Hebrews chapter nine, verse fourteen. How much more shall the blood of Jesus
-
Christ, who through the eternal spirit. Okay, thank you, the eternal
-
spirit. So the Holy Spirit is called eternal. He is the eternal spirit.
-
Amen, he is the eternals. He is forever, more, forever
-
and ever and ever. When when when I was in Square, I was
-
doing reading engeneral mathematics. We used to do some serious calculation. They say
-
infinity. We are calculating infinity. Chalica, imagine we are calculating infinity,
-
positive infinity and negative infinity. Will calculated? They think, will balance.
-
But we ask, then we'll assume. Then assuming the Y the X is
-
this, then we keep on calculating. You can't the whole book, you
-
calculator. You never get the answer. But you see, whether positive or
-
negative. Infinity God outweighs all of it, Gods its. God is eternal.
-
So even before the wedding infinity appeared, God was God. Oh,
-
I can happen for God. Amen. So God is eternal. So he
-
said, the eternal spirit of fed himself without sport to God. So by
-
the medium of the Holy Spirit cry, Jesus offered himself without sport to God
-
the Father. And by that power the Holy Spirit, God can cleanse your
-
mind from dead works. You can cleanse your conscience from dead works. A
-
few months ago, when we're treating duality, I was telling you that when
-
I was growing up, I used to like soul music, an R and
-
B. How many of you remember I used to like You know, I
-
used to listen to boys to men. You don't know boys to men?
-
Are you listening there? So it will change your atmosphere and you won't You
-
don't do good, do you do evil? But as I started to grow
-
in the things of God, I realized that all those appetites had died.
-
And now if you take my phone and go through my playlist, you will
-
see boys to men there again. Amen. So when you allow the Holy
-
Spirit into your life, he will clesse cleanse your mind of dead works.
-
Amen. Now your desire will be on things that pertains to God alone.
-
Amen. The Holy Spirit is God, because only God is omniscient. God
-
is all knowing, and guess what, the Holy Spirit is also all knowing.
-
The Holy Spirit knows all things. He knows all things about you,
-
the things we see, the things we don't see, the things you don't
-
want anybody to know. God knows all those things about you. Amen.
-
And let's look at first contention after two west ten. The Holy Spirit is
-
all knowing, He's omniscient. He knows all things about you. Amen.
-
The Bible says that, but God has revealed them to us through his Spirit,
-
which is the Holy Spirit. For the spirits, such is all things,
-
Yes, the deep things of God. The Holy Spirit searches all things.
-
The Holy Spirit knows all things. And so when a prophet comes to
-
stand here and he calls your name, he hasn't met you before. He
-
mentions your phone number He tells you where you were coming from, where you
-
slept, even the passing you insulted on your way here, he can tell
-
you. It is because the Spirit searches all things. And because the Spirit
-
searches all things, the Spirit reveals it to him. Amen. So the
-
Holy Spirit is God because he's omniscient. Amen. Only God is omnipotent.
-
Only God is omnipotent, And so the Holy Spirit is omnipotent. Omnipotent means
-
all powerful. Can we look at look chapter one, verse thirty five.
-
The Holy Spirit is all powerful. The Holy Spirit is all powerful. And
-
the Angel answered and said to her, the Holy Spirit will come upon you.
-
The power of the Highest will overshadow you. Therefore also that the Holy
-
One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. And
-
so the Holy Spirit is all powerful. Let's look at some sixty two,
-
verse eleven to twelve. The Holy Spirit is all powerful. Can you say
-
to your neighbor, the Holy Spirit is all powerful. Amen. So we
-
are getting information so that we can acknowledge the Lord. The Bible says that
-
God has spoken once twice. Have I heard this? That power belongs to
-
God. Other versions say that all power belongs to God. So it doesn't
-
matter what you're going through. God has all power to deliver you from anything
-
you are going through. Can I hear an Amen? Amen? And finally,
-
God is omnipresent. God is everywhere at the same time. God is
-
everywhere at the same time. Someone thirty nine verse one to twelve. Just
-
imagine if they said that God was in Nigeria, the names that all Christians
-
have to go to Nigeria to worship God. When Jesus met the Samaritan woman,
-
she said that, oh, our fathers worship on the mountain, but
-
you people say we should go to Jerusalem because that is where God is.
-
And Jesus said to her, verily, I say unto you, the time
-
is coming, and the time is now that true worshipers must worship the Father
-
in spirit and in truth. Amen. So as we are having our service,
-
he a God is here by his spirit. The Holy Spirit is also
-
in the main service. If you get on this road and you go,
-
you meet all the churches there, the good churches, not the fake ones.
-
The good churches. The Holy Spirit is there. If you go to
-
La Paz, they are having service. The good Church is. The Holy
-
Spirit is there. If you go to Malam, the Holy Spirit is there.
-
If you decide to drive towards Capeadia, the Holy Spirit is. Every
-
church in Ghana, the Holy Spirit is here. Imagine those in America who
-
are sleeping, they are you have to wake up and go to church.
-
When they go to church, the Holy Spirit will be there. Because the
-
Holy Spirit has the power to be everywhere at the same time. And so
-
the Holy Spirit is omniscient. Hey, what is it. He's omnipresent.
-
Amen, he is everywhere. And David wrote the song very fantastic. He
-
said, Oh Lord, you have setched me and known me, and so
-
you see because the Holy Spirit is everywhere when you go to that place.
-
You go to a crown mall and the ten of the lights in the cinema,
-
and you think that nobody can see you because your eyes you can't see
-
anybody. Please, God is everywhere. You have searched me and known me.
-
Next verse, you know my sitting down and my rising up. Jo
-
understand. God knows you're sitting down and you're rising up. You understand my
-
thoughts from far, the thoughts that in your head that you think nobody can
-
see. Nobody, God knows it. He can sense it from afar.
-
Next verse, you comprehend my path and my lying down. You are acquainted
-
with all my ways. Next verse, for there is not a word or
-
my tongue. Behold, oh Lord, you know it altogether. You have
-
hurged me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge
-
is too wonderful for me. It's high I cannot attain it. Next verse,
-
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I go from your
-
spirit? David asks the question where can I go from your holy spirit?
-
Other version says where can I hide from your holy Spirit? Next verse?
-
If I ascend into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed
-
in hell, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of
-
the morning and dwell in the outermost parts of the sea, Hey, you
-
shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me even there. If
-
I say, surely the darkness shall follow me, even the night shall be
-
like light before me. Indeed, the darkness sha I'll not hide from you.
-
No amount of darkness can hide you from God. If you want to
-
hide from God, there is no place. If you enter the mountain,
-
He's there. If you go into you say you're taking scuba diving lessons.
-
Go under the sea. You meet him there. Even in hell, you
-
meet him there. There's a story a pastor too. He finished preaching on
-
a Sunday morning, and when he went to sleep, Jesus appeared in his
-
room and said, follow me. And do you know why Jesus took him?
-
He took him to Hell. He said, come and see. He
-
took him to go and show him. And he saw his best friend.
-
Those of you who are best friends, tell them about Jesus. He saw
-
his best friend who he hadn't led to Christ. That guy was in hell.
-
So he said, ah, Jack, when did you get this morning?
-
I just had an accident this morning. No, I came here.
-
You understand. So if you have the power of the Holy Spirit, you
-
are supposed to be a witness of Jesus Christ. Because just imagine we are
-
in one local local line. We are going for judgments before the Lord,
-
and we get there, they say you go to heaven and they tell your
-
friend Charlie bye bye to Hell. Your friend would say, oh in money,
-
So you knew this and he didn't tell me. You knew about Jesus
-
and he didn't tell me. Listen in heaven, there's no sorrow, but
-
I believe you'll not be happy in heaven because to no power that you deceive
-
somebody to go to hell. Your laughter will be with some tears. Amen.
-
And So, with all this information we've gathered this morning, there is
-
clear evidence in the Word of God that the Holy Spirit is God. Amen.
-
And so this morning, if anybody should ask you who is the Holy
-
Spirit, should tell them boldly that the Holy Spirit is God. And you
-
should be able to give them evidence from the Word of God that indeed the
-
Holy Spirit is God. Amen. So isn't the Holy Spirit who is eternal,
-
who is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent. Isn't he God? Oh?
-
I'm asking you a question. Isn't he God? Miss appears? Please play
-
the piano. Let the piano tell us that the Holy Spirit is God.
-
Isn't he God? He is God? Amen? And so the Holy Spirit
-
is also majestic and holy and glorious. A man just asked the Father and
-
the Son. Can I hear your Amen? Amen? So please be on
-
your feet with me quickly and acknowledge meant we need to acknowledge the Holy Spirit.
-
And so we are acknowledging the Holy Spirit by saying thank you to the
-
Father for sending us his wonderful Holy Spirit. Just open your mouth now,
-
begin to pray and thank the Lord. Thank you Lord for sending us your
-
sweet Spirit. Thank you Lord for sending us your sweet Spirit. Thank you
-
Lord, Thank you all our Father for sending us your wonderful Holy Spirit.
-
Today we acknowledge your Holy Spirit. And you are God. You are all
-
powerful, you are all present. You are omnishented, you are omnipresent,
-
You are omnipotent, you are eternal. We have no reservations about who you
-
are. This morning we acknowledge you. This morning, we acknowledge you.
-
This morning, we acknowledge you. Ask God, we acknowledge your Lord.
-
Ask God. We acknowledge your Lord, and we bless your holy name.
-
We give your praise, and we give you all glory in Jesus precious name.
-
Amen. If you are here, you're not born again. You have
-
disqualified yourself from receiving the Holy Spirit. You can't receive the promise of the
-
Father if you are not born again. But if you're here, you want
-
this promise of the Holy Spirit. You want to give your life to Jesus.
-
You want Jesus who coming to your heart. Please come and let's say
-
a word of prayer together, so that Christ will send the Holy Spirit,
-
as he has set the Holy Spirit into our hearts. Anyone here who wants
-
Jesus, You want Jesus? Anybody here who wants Jesus? Is there anyone
-
here who wants Jesus Final call? You want Jesus? Or let's clad for
-
him? Amen? Amen? Anybody else who wants Jesus? Is there anyone
-
else who wants Jesus? Amen? Is there anyone who wants Jesus Final call?
-
Is there anybody else wants Jesus? Amen? Oh, let's club for
-
the two young men. Amen. Amen. And so please lift up your
-
right hand and say, Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for me.
-
I thank you that you rose again for me, and thank you for
-
this great salvation you're brought to me. Say I open my heart. Please
-
coming to my heart and be Lord over my life. Please rule over my
-
life, and please give me the promise of the Father who is the Holy
-
Spirit in Jesus mighty. Ay. Amen, Father, we give you thanks
-
for these wonderful brethren. Lord Holy Spirit, come upon them and sure that
-
we're talking for good. In Jesus mightily a man, thank you, thank
-
you for keeping us, or just for a moment, lift your hands and
-
thank the Lord and keeping us, keeping your spirit your can everybody say to
-
lo Lord, thank you my mind by man to spirit your your eye,
-
Hallo jah Amen. Will you may take yourself
