All right, welcome to church, very happy to be here. Let's take

our bibles quickly. The righteousness of God. That's our topic for today,

The righteousness of God. If you're writing, that should be your topic.

life. Everyone is going to live forever at some point. The question is

you are made in the image of God and the likeness of God. And

end, all of us have eternal life. All of us are going to

live forever. The question is where where are you going to live forever?

That's the whole issue, all right, So don't live your life as if

this earth is your final destination. And many of us have already felt at

home in this world. We are just here for a while, a little

while, and day in day out to hear of people passing. You know,

one of the very not very smart questions I used to ask myself was,

how does it feel like to die? Like? When you're dead?

How does it feel like? It's a very silly question, but I used

to ask myself some time back. Can I usually imagine it, or try

to imagine it at least? So when you die, what was it like?

Well? I don't know. But the truth of the matter is,

if Jesus doesn't come while we are still alive, we are going to meet

MISSI that he comes to meet us, or we're meeting. But either way,

we are not going to be here for too long. So let's stay

away from this mentality and this disease of feeling too much at home in this

world. And for your information, also, this world is not controlled by

God. Just in case you're wondering, is got the whole world and it's

not true. It's not true. The Bible says this world is a line

inside wickedness. It's a line inside the wickedness and violence. The world is

a line inside it. So you will have to make sure that you detach

yourself James. Chapter two. It says, this is religion that is pure

and only fault in the eyes of God, that you visit with us and

offers in that distress. And to keep yourself uncontaminated by the world, you

have to keep yourself uncontaminated. Okay, if you allow yourself, the world

you should give your life to God now and to give your energy to God

has done that to them. It's either old age or alcohol or both.

Your hands shaking, you know. And the strong man shall bow themselves.

What is a strong man? Your spine and your leg and knie, that's

the strong man. It's the most old men are pins like that, most

old people there. So the strong man will bow themselves, and the grinders

cease because they are few. What are the grinders? What your teeth?

That's right, your teeth, your teeth. When you get old, you

say that you can't eat a lot of things anymore. Old people mostly they'll

say, bring me water from the fridge. I don't want the one in

the fridge, gramming water. I want room temperature water. They drink water

that is not cold. They don't like ice the way you can remove ice

and be chewing it now, and we say stop. You say you want

to talk. When you are old, you find that you can't even take

cold things anymore. I know many old people that cannot eat salt, cannot

eat spices, cannot eat oil. One person no oil, no salt,

no spicy. So you wonder, how how is that food like My grandmother

was like that before she pass She couldn't eat oil, she couldn't eat spices,

you couldn't eat salts. So when she makes that contome thing, when

they board the contome and they don't add pepperet to it, it's just tomatoes

and sometimes grano. And then what's the other thing, the oil? Do

you do it to water? No oil? She can't eat oil because of

plenty health conditions. She can't eat oil. She can't eat fried eggs.

She can only eat board eggs without salt. When she when she's eating rice,

it's without salt, and she's eating the town. So for her it's

it's cool. Right When you gon't eat her rice, to you will not

eat ris and is not nice, but for her it's okay. The grinders

have become few, Your tastes change, right, And those that look out

of the window be dark. And what are those that look out of the

window your eyes? One of the market distinctive characteristics of old people is they

wear glasses. It's true, most old people wear God they need glasses to

see what is far away, or they need glasses to read. Even have

you noticed that the older you grow, the closer the book gets to your

face. Have you noticed? Right now? Because you are young, you

can stand here and the book can be at the back there and you can

still see everything. Oh yeah, I remember when I was going to do

this my driver's license, and they said, as you read the thing on

the wall, you know, and then so it's big. Some are really

big, and then some are medium, some are small, some are really

it? When you get old, your eyes get dimmed. You can't see

these four and the doors be shut in the street. You don't like to

go out anymore. You like to be indoorsed all the time. When the

sound of the grinding is low. Your ears don't work as good as they

do now, right, You don't even you can't hear well, you know

most old people. You talk to them, you have to repeat yourself and

so old people when you're sleeping, they don't want you to be around making

noise. You make noise. You're in trouble. And it seems they sleep

look. So you look like a princess. But you know you look like

a joke, and you don't want to wear it. You can't take it

out. Old people cannot especially apprecience beauty because they've seen it all. I

mean what they just wear what they have income. And then there's five also

they shall be afraid of that which is high. Your fears increase right,

and the fierce b in the way your fierce increase. You're going to visit

your friend, and they call your friend's mother to be sure that you are

coming. They say, you are coming, she's coming. Please. When

you get they call again and they say has she come, Yes, he

has come. Please, you'll come back home at five. Then the call

They jump from place to place. When you're old, even climbing stairs is

an issue. It's an issue. Most old people did like to pass by

unless you know God. Righteousness is a kingdom concept. It's not a worldly

concept. So if you are in a world, or if you are not

in Christ. This concept of righteousness doesn't apply to you in a world.

When they talk about righteousness, mostly what they mean is morality, and this

standard changes from place to place and from person to person, for instance,

in the US. Now you know as well as I do that when a

man marries another man, it's okay? Is that not it? Yeah?

As a man called Kwame, I have marry another man who jo legally and

we are married. And if you don't agree, or you do anything to

publicly oppose such a thing, you may even go to jail for it.

You'll be branded, canceled, and possibly prosecuted. They'll find something to pin

on you and that will be the end of you. There was, you

know, this whole uh transgender thing in order, they say, people choose

their gender. Look, you are born with a penis or a vagina.

That makes you a man or a woman period. You are a gender is

a fact when you are born. It's either you have a male reproductive or

god or you have a female productive gun. That's what makes you male?

Of you? Is not it? Right now? They said you can't identify

as a frog as a man, you can identify as a puppy. There

was this sixty year old man who says he identifies as a twelve year old

and had that pacifier in his mouth. Somebody who has five children, you

say, you are identifying as a teve with a pacifier, you are a

twelve year old is believing like a baby. It's amazing. There's this man

who is a baker, you know. He bakes cakes, bread, what

have you. And he's one of the best in his state. And two

men were getting married and they went to him and they ordered for cake and

he said, are you isn't like a wedding or something. They said,

yeah, the cake of when he said, well he can supply he's a

Christian, so he can't support this their business venture. And he said,

what that's discrimination. So they reported to the police and the man was arrested.

Yep. And not only was he ordered to provide the cake, he

was fined. Yeah, he was fined because by the time the whole God's

kiss and everything and the wedding was over, you know. So they made

him break the cake, deliver it, and they find him. They took

money from him for wasting your time. So you see that in this place,

the standard of righteousness in some way now when you move from USA and

you go to a place like wait or Saudi Arabia, even a man and

a woman you can even hold hands in public. It's not allowed. Now

you were a man, you say one another man, you know, not

sir, it's over for you. You would oh life a bla bla flow.

You would not enjoy life again. They will either s told you something,

you would die. It's not going to be easy for you. Then

if you move from Kuwet to Sadia Arabia to Ghana, the standard has changed

the game because we really don't give it them. We don't give it them.

If your man wants to man and that man we are looking for money

for watching we don't have. We don't have these kinds of worries about who

we are marrying, who we are not marrying, who we are loving.

We are lesbians, we don't care for our prices are going up. You

are here talking about who you love. We are fat jo you know.

And so in the world righteousness and the standard of righteousness, it moves,

it changes, But with God it's not like that. It's the same.

It is the same. And if you don't understand this concept of righteousness,

you cannot live a fruitful Christian life. It would be very difficult for you

to live it fruitful Christian life. Let's look at what righteousness is because many

how many minutes I have? You? Just say it, say it and

Truth is anything God says end of story. Truth is anything God says

that's truth. What is a lie? You can add it. A lie

is anything God did not see end of story as a basic definition of truth.

Now you need to understand this because sometimes something may sound good in your

ear, but because God is not the one behind it, it makes it

bad. There are times that being kind is wrong. There are times that

being kind that you are giving somebody something is wrong because God did not instracted.

Did you not read of huzza that the act was falling down when the

guy tried to help you and he died? God struck in black he died?

Why? Because when God is not the one sanctioning it, that is

the very definition of evil. Hmm, Matthew, Chapter nineteen and the seventeen.

You've seen the scripture before. What did Jesus mean when he said this?

it's the standard of good is God. Until you know, recognize and see

that I am God, don't call me good. That's what he means by

this. He was just calling him good master, because I mean, it's

a nice thing to say. But Jesus was trying to tell him that until

you recognize that I'm good, don't call me good, because that title good

is yes for God, all right. So righteousness is that feature, that

nature, that ability of God that makes him always right. This is also

the reason you will never see Thisesus cracking a joke in the Bible from Genesis

alas you would never see God cracking a joke anywhere, because anything God says

comes to pass. If God jokingly says your head is big, your head

is going to be big instantly. Instantly, your head is going to be

big. If God is her a big stomach, your stomach will move from

here to the junction. Now, because there is nothing that God says and

it doesn't happen. His word is creative in nature, and that is how

your words are. Did you know yet? De says say that be careful

with your words. Be careful with your words, because it's yours. You

create your own world. You may not see it that you may not know.

It's not apparent or dramatic as God's own. But God never cracks a

job because God's words are always true, and your life all right, it

is by his word. He even created the whole world. So when we

talk about the righteousness of God, it's a quality of God. Now,

if this is a God we're talking about, for you to come and stand

in front of him, you must be pepepeed. You must be okay,

there mustn't be anything wrong with you, There mustn't be anything har person.

You must be upright before you can sign in front of such a god.

God knowing this, and he knew we could not meet up that standard,

he made a way. He sends Jesus to that. You know the way

that story goes. But what did Jesus death accomplished? Two things? Forgiveness

and justification by Jesus death, the whole world received forgiveness, and the whole

world received justification in the form of righteousness. Everybody. So look at Romance

after five Hunbre seventeen. Let's go back to the scripture. For if by

one month of friense, death reigned by one much more, there which received

abundance of grace and of the gifts of righteousness, shall reign in life by

one, she says Christ. From this scripture we glean to things. Can

you see them? The first thing is that righteousness can be received. Write

it down. Two things about righteousness. Number one, righteousness can be received.

For if by one month of fense, death reigned by one much more

there which receive righteousness, righteousness can be received. You can get it at

a point. Number two, the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by

one. Righteousness is a gift. Write it down. Righteousness is a gift.

You don't work for it. If you work for it, it wouldn't

be a gift anymore. But it is a gift, and it is not

a gift for Christians. It's a gift for the word. Let me show

you something Romance after fall. Let's reading for this one righteousness is a gift.

That is what Abrahm got in the Old Testament. Abrahm was righteous,

not because of anything he did or anything he said. It was a gift.

What shall we say then, that Abraham, our father, as pertaining

to the flesh, has found verse two. For if Abrahm were justified by

words, he had ware off to glory, but not before God. What

descripture means is that if Abraham had done something to qualify for what he had,

then he had every right to boast, but not before God, not

before God, because that was in the truth best way. For what saith

the scripture? What does the scripture say? Abraham believe God and it was

counted onto him for righteousness that Abraham had faith in God. Abraham believed God,

and that belief that he had in God was credited to him as righteousness.

Okay, now, remember I said if you can do something to get

it, it is no longer a gift. Right, Ver's four. There's

four Now to him that worketh is the reward, not recon of grace,

but of debt. The king James is not working for a lot of people.

What is this scripture saying? What does this Mean's no verse four.

Verse four. Now to him who works the wages are not counted. No,

go back to my king, James, I beg you leave the non

uses people alone, let themself a bit. Now to him that worketh is

the reward, not to accond of grace. But by the way, this

is the best school in Ghana and West Africa. And I think it's number

works. Righteousness is imputed, imputed, means is credited. Righteousness is you

don't work for it, not for you a Christian, not a believer.

It is imputed. It's given to you without works, Verse seven, saying,

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impalte. Sin write is

as you don't have to do anything to be righteous, you also do not

have to do anything to be a sinner. You are born away. That

is why Jesus said, except a man be born again, he cannot see

the king. You can't even be alive to the consciousness or the reality of

the kingdom. The kingdom doesn't exist to you as far as you're concerned,

because you are dead. You are insane. You are born a sinner.

You don't have to do anything to be a sinner. You are born that

way. As far and as long as you do not have Jesus, you

are a sinner, and you are not a singer because of what you do,

because of who you are. In the same way, You are not

righteous because of what you do. You are righteous because of who you are.

You are right just because of who you've accepted, who you're believing.

That's what makes you righteous, not because of what you do. So you

may not still. I mean, they're good sinners. You can have a

righteous singer. Ever you are righteous or you're a sinner. The best you

can get is maybe a morals sinner, a kind sinner, a non fornicating

sinner, non adult trust sinner. But you are not righteous because you don't

go to club me, I've never drunk alcohol before. Good for you,

We thank God for your life, but you are not righteous. The question

is have you believed. If you haven't believed, you are still a sinner.

You are still a sinner. Listen. If you don't understand this,

the devil will have a field dare with you. The devil will he kill

you and beat you properly, because you will always be feeling bad for not

being able to live up to certain standards after you become born again. In

fact, it is being righteous that made you born again. Hm, who

do you think this has died for? Let me ask you a question,

Let's go back to Romans after five rect verse seventeen. Go to verse

eighteen. Therefore us, by the affairs of one, judgments came upon who

all men to condemnation. Even so, by the righteousness of one, the

free gift of righteousness came upon who all men. So righteousness is for everybody,

not Christians. Righteousness is for everyone. But the truth of the matter

is it is the reception of righteousness that makes you a Christian. You don't

become a Christian to receive righteousness. You receive righteousness to become a Christian,

do you understand. And it goes a little further, because that's a very

broad generalization. If you narrow it down to our experience as born again believers,

the truth of the matter is that when you were born again, you

were born righteous because you were born as a new creation. If any man

being right, he is a new crasies and new species. You were born

righteous. The moment you were born again. You came out as a righteous

man. It's like you never seen before the moment you say Lord this and

acceptious, my Lord and persons, that very moment you were born righteous.

You came out as righteous, just as you don't have to be giving birth

to to become a human. You were born human. You were born human

in the same way when you were born again, you were born righteous.

You don't have to do anything or not do anything to please God. God

is already happy with you. Do you understand what is going on so that

you don't give that devil a chance to be dic getting to you? When

you are righteous and when you are not? When are you human? And

when are you not human? Is there a point you cise to be human

because of some condition? You see? Have you ever taught to stop to

consider why they say racist? Secret? Why is racism so bad? Why

it is racism so bad? Does anybody know why it's racism is such a

horrible Why is it that everybody agrees that maybe sexism okay, whatever, but
