And so in the past week, the past few weeks, I've been speaking
-
to you about open doors, open doors. And by the inspiration of the
-
Holy Spirit of Father, the Archbishop has declared he declared Impact. The theme
-
of Impact to be open doors. And the theme for the coming year is
-
open doors. Amen. And so if you know anything about doors, you
-
know that doors give access. Doors give access. How many of you have
-
walked through a door since this morning? You've walked through some door. Amen.
-
Even before you came to the Youth Church, you walk through a door.
-
So the door gives you access into the youth Church. Just imagine if
-
you got here and you had us praising God in here, but the door
-
was locked, you'll be stuck out. He means access denied. Amen.
-
And as children of God. According to Revelation, chapter three, verse seven,
-
the Bible says that God has set before us an open door that no
-
one can shut because of our works. We spoke about good waks now in
-
order for us to walk through that open door. The message God gave me
-
to tell you is that the only way we can walk through that door,
-
that open door, is by with humility. Outside of humility, we will
-
not be able to walk through that open door. Amen? How many of
-
you know that many doors have keys that unlocks or locks them. Many doors,
-
unless, of course, the door is not guarding something that is precious.
-
Any door that gods, anything that is precious, has a lock.
-
Even prison doors have locks because there's pressureus car go there. They don't want
-
them to run away, so they have to lock them inside. I hope
-
you understand. And so a key gives you access to the door. There
-
are physical keys that open doors. This key is to my house. It's
-
the kitchen. Door opens to the kitchen. We can't go inside. If
-
I lose this key, access denied. Do you understand this key unlocks my
-
car. If I lose this key, I can go home. The car
-
will be here. This key starts the car. It gives access. I
-
hope you understand. And so any door you come to that you don't have
-
the key to open, you don't have access to go through the door.
-
Can I hear an? Amen? If you understand what I'm saying, If
-
you understand the English I'm speaking, say a better Amen. If you don't
-
understand the English I'm saying, say hey, all those you don't understand English
-
I'm speaking give the a lot away. Let us help you. Oh,
-
I had some a bar not seeing some hands. Amen. I had some
-
a barbon not seeing some hands. Let's wait for our brothers and sisters to
-
sit down comfortably and they will continue. Amen. Oh Amen, are we
-
still in church? I can only hear those Yeah, all of you here?
-
What are you not in church? You are in church? I said,
-
Amen. So keys give access to be able to walk through doors.
-
Amen. And one of the keys that God wants us to know and to
-
learn for us to be able to walk through our open door to destiny is
-
with the key of human Please say the key of humility. Amen. A
-
few weeks back, I was speaking to you about those who are proud,
-
and we did some experiments that if you asked the person seated by you are
-
you proud? There are three answers you should expect. The first one is
-
no, The first one is yes, The second one is yes. The
-
third one is no answer. Amen. And it's a littlemos test to test
-
us if we are proud or we are humble. Amen. So how about
-
we try it. Please ask your neighbors seated by you, are you proud?
-
Did they say yes? Well, please ask them again, are you
-
proud? Was there an answer? There was an answer? The answer was
-
no, right, okay? Some to did the answer. Some did the
-
answer. If you as ever someone who the answer, give me a wave.
-
He is that one. They're no answer is also a sign that you
-
are actually proud. So you are now contemplating am I proud or I am
-
not proud? You understand. But if you are not proud, you willingly
-
say I am not proud. Amen. And so we are looking at the
-
key of humility for this season in order to walk through our open doors of
-
destiny. Amen. How many of you want God to help you to walk
-
into your destiny? Is he? Throughout scripture God has helped many people to
-
walk into their destiny. One person God helped greatly to walk through his destiny
-
into the door of his destiny was David. David was a shepherd, He
-
was a full any boy. Do you understand he was the last baby in
-
the family, but he was treated like a servant. Do you understand last
-
babies are usually loved by their parents. Who are how many of your last
-
babies here? Are you not loved by your parents? You get everything you
-
want? You are last baby, at least you've enjoyed life. Small,
-
Yes, you haven't enjoyed life. You've enjoyed life. But I see David
-
when he was thirteen years old, he was made to go and be a
-
shepherd of a sheep. And he was in the desert while his brothers were
-
chilling at home watching DStv epl His friends were mad. He was saying,
-
hey, you was a shepherd in sheep. But guess what. He is
-
a guy that God helped and by the time the doors of his destiny were
-
open to him, he became a king over Israel. Amen. So let
-
me ask the question again. Is there anyone here who wants God to help
-
them to walk through their doors of destiny? Amen? Then if you are
-
such a person, then the key you need to be able to walk through
-
your door of destiny is with the key of humility. Amen. Please tell
-
your neighbor the key of humility is the secret for access to the open door.
-
Amen. Let's look at Matthew chapter eighteen, verse three. Matthew chapter
-
eighteen vers three as our foundation scripture. Amen. And he said assuredly,
-
I say to you, unless you are converted and become like a little child
-
or little children, you will by no means enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
Amen. Therefore, whoever humbles, let's look at Therefore, whoever humbles
-
himself as this little child is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.
-
Little children are very humble. If they're in their ideal condition, they are
-
very humble, unless, of course, there's somebody proud and they learn pride
-
from that person. Then you can see a little child being very arrogant.
-
But if you're in the right setting, little children by nature or humble.
-
And Jesus is telling us that unless we humble ourselves and become like little children,
-
we cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen. Why was he
-
saying that? Because humility is the key that opens doors. Amen. And
-
so today I want to tell you why humility is a key. Why humility
-
is a key. So number one reason why humility is a key is that
-
humility opens the door to salvation. Romance, Chapter one, verse sixteen.
-
Humility opens the door to salvation. How many of you know someone who is
-
not born again? They don't know Jesus, they're not Christians. Amen.
-
How many of you know reasons why they are not born again? Can someone
-
tell us one reason why they are not born again? Yes, they are
-
Muslims. Yes, why are your friends not born again? Dan used to
-
go into church? Okay? Who else? Yes? They don't believe in
-
Christ and they don't believe in religion. Yes, Harrison, they think church
-
is a fraud. Yes, he asked God for a bicycle and God didn't
-
give him, so he won't come to Yes. Who else he's a Muslim?
-
Yes? Who else? Chitty? They are not interested in being in
-
a religion or being a Christian. They have no interest. But I see
-
when you consider truly and you weigh them in a balance, you realize that
-
they are in one religion or another without their knowledge, so they can be
-
a member of a foot ball club. How many of you know that football
-
is a religion? You don't know? Yes, football is a religion.
-
Anything you love with your hat, with your whole hat, with your whole
-
soul, with your whole might, is a religion. How many of you
-
love your team with your whole heart? Please lift your hand and shame the
-
devil. We know you love your team. When your team dies, call
-
you, you eat because your heart is broken. Do you understand? And
-
so there are many people who have not yet had access to the door of
-
salvation because they are not humble enough. Romance, Chapter one, the sixteen.
-
The Bible says, for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ,
-
for it is the power of God to salvation for anyone who believes.
-
And so there are many people who are not Christians. They are not born
-
again, and the outcome of their lives is that they will end up in
-
hell because they have not come to the humility to believe in Christ Jesus as
-
Lord. Do you know there are many people in Israel today who don't believe
-
in Jesus Christ. But what is the Bible saying. It says that I
-
am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ Jesus, for it is the power
-
of God to salvation for anyone who believes. For the jew first, and
-
also for the Greek next verse seventeen. For in it the righteousness of God
-
is revealed from faith to faith. The righteousness of God is revealed in the
-
Gospel, from faith to faith. Amen. Yesterday some of our brothers and
-
sisters got baptized. How how many were baptized who are in church today?
-
Please stand on your feet, Amen, Let's clap my hands for them.
-
Amen. Congratulations, you have fulfilled or righteousness. All right, Your certificates
-
are ready. When we close from church, just go to the information desk
-
and pick it up. Amen. You are now a disciple of Jesus Christ.
-
Amen, please be seated. So the key to salvation unlocks many benefits
-
of salvation. Who can tell me one benefit of salvation? Yes? Sorry,
-
Walking with the Holy Spirit. The gift of the Holy Spirit is a
-
benefit of salvation, yes, Harrison. It opens doors. What type of
-
dose doors to grace? Yes? Who else can tell me one benefit of
-
salvation? Yes? The gift of eternal life, because you receive the nature
-
of God in you, and the nature of God is eternal. God cannot
-
die. So God gives you his spirit, which cannot die. You receive
-
the gift of justification, Amen, the gift of redemption, the gift of
-
sanctification, the gift of newness of life. You become brand new. So
-
the Bible says that behold, all things have passed away, all things have
-
become new. You receive newness of life in Christ Jesus. But if you
-
are not humble enough to receive the gospel, which is a key to salvation,
-
you cannot be a beneficiary of all the blessings and the benefits of salvation.
-
Do you understand what I'm saying? So, humility number one is the
-
key that unlocks the door to salvation. Is the door, It's the key.
-
Somebody says he wanted a bicycle when he was two years old. Is
-
Jesus Christ a bicycle repairer? So because he didn't get a bicycle, he
-
doesn't believe it's a sign of pride. Amen. And one thing I need
-
you to know is that God will not give you what you want all the
-
time. God will always give you what you need. Amen. God will
-
give you what you need, not what you want all the time. So
-
perhaps God didn't give him the bicycle because he would have loved the bicycle so
-
much. He would have ridden a bicycle where she didn't go and a baller
-
cow would have hit him. So God has preserved his life by not giving
-
him a bicycle. Amen. Some of you want I from fifteen. If
-
you don't get eye from fifteen, he say, I'm come to change again.
-
God is preserving your life so that you'll be online all the time for
-
some pido file to start engaging you and talking nonsense to you. Amen.
-
So the first reason why humility is a key is that humility on locks to
-
us the door of salvation. Amen. Aren't you happy being a child of
-
God? Are you sure you're excited being a child of God? Without the
-
Gospel, you would not be a child of God without believing in Christ Jesus,
-
you will not be a child of God without humbling yourself to receive the
-
Gospel, for it to work on you, for it, for you to
-
believe in it, you will not be a child of God. Amen.
-
One parent came to see me today with a testimony that her daughter now has
-
been doing quiet time. Shout outs to all those who do quiet time,
-
amen, And that when she does quiet time she can come and explain the
-
word of God to her. It wets out, baffles her mind, like,
-
is this my daughter, pa, who can explain the word of God
-
to me this way? And a daughter is in the choir, she's the
-
first of a schoir. Oh yes, So shout out to all of you
-
who are not having quiet time. Amen. And she says, when she's
-
home and she's singing and she's worshiping, everybody is touched. Amen. When
-
she raises her song. I love you for your mercies never failed. Before
-
you know it. Everybody is singing in the house. That is the effects
-
of how fast she is come with God. Amen. And so we need
-
humility to be able to open the door of salvation. Can I hear an
-
amen? Amen? Job Chapter twenty two, verse twenty nine. Job Chaupter
-
twenty two versus twenty nine. When they are cast down, you will say,
-
exaltation has come. Let's look at the King James version. So when
-
there is a casting down, then shall we say there is a lifting up?
-
And he shall say the humble person when there is a casting down,
-
when all men are cast down, because you have unlocked with humility and received
-
the Gospel of Jesus, have become born again. It doesn't matter if thousands
-
are falling by your side or ten thousands are falling by your side. You
-
are bold to say that when men are cast down, there is a lifting
-
up because God shall save the humble person. Amen. And So if you
-
don't want God to save you, then you know what to do. You
-
can't continue being proud. But if you need God to save you, you
-
need a saving grace of God for your life. Then the key to being
-
saved is humility? Can I hear an amen? Number two reason why humility
-
is a key that opens doors is that it opens the door to healing.
-
Humility opens the door to healing. Second Chronicles, Chapter seven, verse fourteen,
-
Second Chronicles, seven fourteen. And this is God's speaking. It says,
-
if my people are the people of God in church today, some of
-
you don't know you other people of God, I said, other people of
-
God in church today. If my people who are called by my name,
-
are you called by the name of God? If my people who are called
-
by my name shall humble themselves, shall what humble them? It means that
-
nobody's going to humble. You have to humble yourself. Please tell your neighbor
-
you are responsible for humbling your own self. Do you understand? If my
-
people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my
-
face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and
-
forgive their sins and will heal their land. So humility is a key that
-
opens the door to healing. Amen. So perhaps you have decided you humble
-
yourself, But you are very loud. You are prayer fool everybody knows you.
-
You are Copapa Kappa lay Papa Papa. We'll talk about prayer. You
-
are part of it, but you are forgotten the first but humble yourself and
-
you stay only in prayer, Praga talk about pscapate wit bay. You can
-
pray, but you, because you lack humility, you can't even seek the
-
face of God. And so if we ask you as the last time you
-
heard the voice of God, we don't know. Never. It has never
-
happened. Amen. And because you lack the ability to be humble and to
-
pray with humility, you are still living in sin. You are not turning
-
away from your wicked ways. You are still doing the bad things, the
-
wrong things. You pray more than everybody, You hate everybody. You are
-
divisive more than anybody. You have hatred in your heart. You are not
-
kind, you don't love, you don't show messy. The only thing we
-
know you for is that you can pray. That's all. You don't have
-
the nature of God in you. Because you lack humility, that will lead
-
all the other things to happen for you. Amen. And so because you
-
lack humility, you are sinning, and you are piloting your sinner, and
-
there is no forgiveness of sin, is no healing in your life. But
-
if my people, says the Lord, who are called by my name,
-
shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
-
then will I hear. So it goes to reason that there are many
-
people who are praying, but God is not hearing. So another key you
-
can write down is that humility opens the door to ansert prayers. Humility opens
-
the door to anset prayers. Humility opens the door to forgiveness of sins.
-
Humility opens the door to healing. Amen Second King, chapter five was one
-
to five talks about a very interesting story about a man called nay Man who
-
was the captain of the host of Syria. He was a captain of an
-
army. He was a great man with his master. He was honorable because
-
by him the Lord had given deliverance on to Syria. And he was a
-
mighty man in Falla. He was a mighty man who excelled in battle.
-
But guess what he was a leper. He was suffering from leprosy. How
-
many of you know what leprosy is. Please, let's do the picture of
-
what leprosy is leprosy? Do we have the picture apart from all his credentials
-
that he was a mighty man. He was a mighty man in valor,
-
He was a captain of an army. All that was good, but he
-
was lepros. He was lepros. And the Bible says that he had suffered
-
leprosy for a long time, and he had gone to many doctors. They
-
couldn't heal him. But there was a maid in the house, a servant
-
who said, I know of a prophet. His name is Elisha, Prophet
-
Elisha. Perhaps you can go to him and he can probably bring healing to
-
you. So the man agreed and he took his car. If it was
-
this day, you have mutal kid and there'llbviates like twenty v eight were going
-
people paper or papal to where Prophet Elisha was. And because he's a great
-
man, he probably thought that they would lay red carpets for him and to
-
have you know those children who come and dance at door, and then they
-
have the flowers and come and give him a kiss. You're welcome. That's
-
how his hands looked like. His hands were like this. He was lepros.
-
All right, let's go to the scripture again. But before he got
-
there, the prophet told his sevants that go and meets the man. Meets
-
this great man and tell him that he should go and jump into the river
-
Jordan. Seven times he said, go and jump when you going, No,
-
just jump one, two, three, do some assaults four. Seven
-
times. The man got offended because he was he was a big man.
-
He was proud to understand, and he was about to turn his motal kaid
-
around and go back to Syria. But the little girl said to him,
-
master, you've come all this while, why don't you just do this and
-
let's see pay adventure. So he said, okay, okay, you out
-
do it. So then he removed all his military things with his boxes,
-
and then he said, okay, let me behave like a child. So
-
you come and stand here, you do this on, then you come out.
-
Then you do two, then three, Then he started laughing, haha,
-
four like a child, humility, humble like a child. Then he
-
does into it. Five. Then he won't come there and shake himself and
-
go six. I'm sure he'd been forgot's Actually that thing is seven times when
-
he went in the seventh time and he was coming out. He was looking
-
forward to going again when he realized, Ah, the leprosy was gone.
-
His hands were made home. Amen. He had been healed of leprosy because
-
of humility. Amen. But how many of you here would have been in
-
this man's office and they will see go and jump into day they you're done
-
like a child, and you would have done it. Not many people would
-
have done it. Amen. Imagine you have come in your v eight and
-
they say that there's some gota water be there. Just jump inside seven times
-
so the leprosy will go. Meanwhile, you in your house, you have
-
swimming pool, heat ted swimming pool. You understand, you've got jacuzzi in
-
your bathroom, your bat with milk and oil. And they say, no,
-
jump into this brown water so that the leprosy will go. If you
-
don't have humility, you go back home with your leprosy. Amen. And
-
so you see there are men, many people who are walking on earth.
-
They are okay, they look fine, but in the spirit they are lepros
-
because of pride. But with the key of humility, you will be able
-
to unlock and open the door of healing. Amen. Oh, yes,
-
many of you where you come from, their sicknesses in your bloodline. Your
-
great grandfather had that sickness, your great grandmother had that sickness. Your uncles
-
have the sickness, your aunties have the sickness. Your father has it.
-
Your either your mother or your father has it. It's continuous. When you
-
humble yourself, that key of humility will open to you the door of healing.
-
Amen. And that sickness will not be able to transcend beyond your generation.
-
Can I hear an amen? Oh? Can you say a better amen?
-
Like someone who believes the word of God say a better amen. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. And so humility is a key because it opens the door to
-
riches and honor. Humility opens the door to riches and honor. Proverbs,
-
Chapter twenty two, verse four. Proverbs, Chapter twenty two, verse four.
-
By humility and the fear of the Lord are righteous and honor and life.
-
By humility and the fear of the Lord are righteous and honor and life.
-
Can we read it together? Three to one? Goal? Amen?
-
How many of you want to be rich here? Not with bets niger or
-
one ex beds or super bets, or for one night going to kill somebody's
-
daughter to drive him as it is, Bens, That's not what I'm talking
-
about, Amen, I'm talking about the riches that come from the blessing of
-
the Lord that asks no sorrow. Amen. This is the key humility.
-
The key to riches is humility. Amen. There was a young lady in
-
the Book of Esther called Hadassah Esther. She was a village girl. A
-
village girl, but guess what. By humility, she listened to the counsel
-
of her uncle, and not too long after that she ended up being the
-
queen of an empire. So she came into riches, She came into honor
-
Amen, by humility. And so if you are humble at heart, we
-
can predict your future. We don't need to prophesy your future. We can
-
predict that you will do well. Amen. If you are proud, too,
-
we can't predict. Maybe you gets far, you get it because God
-
gives grace to the humble, but he resists the proud. Is someone changing
-
by the word of God today? Is your life changing? Is your brain
-
working over time to help you change? Yes? If you want to be
-
rich, if you want to be honored, then humility is the key.
-
Amen. Number four reason why humility is a key is that humility is a
-
key because it opens the door to the grace of God. Romance, Chapter
-
twelve, vers three. Romance, Chapter twelve, verse three. He opens
-
humility opens the door to the grace of God. Amen. Technical guys helping
-
me with this screen is gone off. Amen. And the Bible says that
-
for I say, through the grace giving unto me, to every man that
-
is among you, not to think of himself in this place. In this
-
case is not just about the guys. It's for all of us. So
-
him or herself. Amen. Maybe the ladies are thinking ours honest other boys,
-
so it's not part of him or him. We should not think of
-
ourselves more highly than we ought to think, but to think soberly. According
-
to us, God has dealt with each man or woman the measure of faith.
-
Amen. Don't think highly of your don't overhype yourself. Amen. How
-
many of you know those people who like to they are overhyped. If you
-
know anyone who is over hyped, give me a wave. They are very
-
hyped or in fact overly hired. But when you go and check, Charlie,
-
nothing of them. Just hype, social media, hype, social media.
-
They weren't standing somebody's hotel. They will going rent the hotel room and
-
hide themselves and when they feel to go and live at the back. And
-
some kios down there. Over hype. So the Bible is said that don't
-
overhype yourself more than you are. Amen. I was telling the first service
-
one we're in primary school. I was this guy. He said, oh,
-
my father has ten cars. Then you mentioned all the cars, but
-
we knew him. He came with a jeep. They will come and drop
-
him off. Yes, they had a nice jeep. And he teld he
-
overhyped. Our jeep has air condition in the front and in the back.
-
And we said, oh, we we know ball by in the morning.
-
Apparently when he's coming and they're almost getting there, he thought the driver rolled
-
up. Meanwhile, there's no air condition in the cow. By the time
-
they get to school, he's sweating and said, Charlie Jack, there's why
-
are you sweating. He said, oh, their condition wasn't working. But
-
and he kept doing that until we one day we said we are going to
-
sit in Okay and see and we realized that it was all high. Amen.
-
Amen, So don't overhype yourself, Amen, don't think more highly of
-
yourself than you ought to think, as God has dealt with you according to
-
the measure of your faith. Amen, So humble yourself so that God will
-
lift you up. If your father doesn't have a messages bens, it is
-
not a crime. Understand. If you don't have an iPhone fourteen, it
-
is not a crime. Eh, it is not a crime. If you
-
don't get an iPhone fourteen, you will not die. Amen. If you
-
don't get Gucci shoes to wear, you won't die. Are you listening to
-
me? Listen? The nature of life is such that you always want something
-
new. The truth of the matter is that after you get that new thing,
-
you want something else. You get it. So if you are not
-
content with the little God has given you, you keep pushing and pushing.
-
You end up being a thief because you need to steal to satisfy the craving.
-
Amen. Do you know what Every six months, Apple brings out a
-
new device. They bring out new phones. So if you're not con see,
-
I've been using my iPhone twelve pro for how many years? Now?
-
Is working? Amen? I can do FaceTime, I can't do text,
-
I message, I can do what's up? TikTok Instagram, you name it,
-
all of is all there. When you are using iPhone seventeen pro max,
-
we are doing the same thing. The value is the same. Amen.
-
He won't, So don't let some boy deceive you. I will buy
-
you iPhone fifteen Amen, and cost you to sin against God. Amen.
-
So he says that what don't overhype. Please tell your neighbor, don't overhype
-
yourself. Please tell somebody else, don't overhype yourself. Amen. Let's look
-
at James chapter four or sixty seven. James four six to seven, James
-
four six to seven. Amen, are we there? The Bible says that
-
He gives grace. God gives grace. Let's we got new King James version.
-
Please help us with new King James version. But he gives more grace.
-
Therefore, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
-
Grace is unmerited favor, unmerited help. Amen. Help that you don't deserve,
-
You receive it from God. But how you qualify for that hell is
-
for you to be humble. Because God resists the proud. Amen, malchis
-
come to me. Let's imagine for the sake of demonstration and Melchisidec is proud
-
that not be your portion, Amen, and he's trying to walk through the
-
door of destiny. According to this scripture. He says that let's go back
-
to verse six. He gives more grace. Therefore, he says, God
-
resists the proud. So regarding the proud, Satan has gone on holiday with
-
them. Satan doesn't need to worry about them. Try and walk through me.
-
Imagine, I am God and this is him. God resists the proud.
-
God resists the proud. God resists the proud. God resists the proud.
-
Amen. He resists the proud, so he will resist you. You
-
will not be able to walk through the door of destiny. Amen. So
-
when it comes to what God has thought concerning you for you to be and
-
to accomplish in life, you won't get there. He's the one who has
-
said it that you should be this and you are proud. Regarding you,
-
Satan has gone on holiday. He's in the Bahamas, maybe chilling drinking some
-
mohitos. By you. God is on your case and he resist you nicely.
-
Amen. Thank you, God bless you. But he gives grace to
-
the humble. So God helps people who are humble. Amen. God helps
-
people who are humble next verse. Therefore, submit to God. Without humility,
-
you will not be able to submit to God. Amen. And it's
-
important for the ladies for you to lend humility now because when you get married,
-
what the Bible says that submit to your own husbands. Amen. And
-
so you see that when you submit to a man who is submitted to God,
-
your life becomes peaceful. Amen. And so submit to God resists the
-
devil, and he will flee from you. Amen. The only way Satan
-
will run away from you is when you are fully submitted to God. Can
-
I hear an Amen? Amen. And so the grace of God is the
-
unmerited favor of God, the emerited help from God. Amen. And as
-
you begin to submit to God and to humble yourself before God, may God
-
help you by pouring out more grace on you in Jesus precious name. Amen.
-
Number five. Find out reason why humility is a key. Humility opens
-
the door to the annoyinging. Humility opens the door to the anointing. The
-
Bible says that, oh, how Jesus of Nazareth was annoyingted with the Holy
-
Spirit and with power, and he went about doing good for good works.
-
I've thought to you here two weeks ago that one thing that guarantees an open
-
door is good works. With humility, you can walk in the anointing.
-
Amen. And so if you come to church and we asked you, when
-
was the last time you heard the voice of God? Please, when was
-
the last time you heard the voice of God? It's a question to you
-
all, give the Lord of wave if you heard the voice of the Lord.
-
Give the Lord a wave if those he as spiritual. Amen. You
-
see there are many people who are not hearing the voice of Word. My
-
prayer for you is that every one of you will hear the audible voice of
-
God. Amen. So no one will deceive you in life. Amen.
-
But you see, God gives instruction to you, children of God, through
-
the person that God has appointed over you. Amen. And so there are
-
certain advices that I can give to you that will be inspired by the Lord,
-
that will help you. I hope you understand. Do you understand?
-
So sometimes there are some friends that you don't need to be friends with,
-
And it's only your pastor who can tell you not to be friends with this
-
person. Because when your mother tells you, you fight you do your mouth
-
like lizard mouth. Amen. You frown your face for a thousand years in
-
the house, you talk to anybody. But if you can humble yourself to
-
hear the instruction, then you walk in humility, and that can open the
-
door for you. Amen. And so it can open the door to anointing.
-
How you can be humbled like a sevant? I was asking the first
-
evicele how many if you have house boys and house girls in your house,
-
give the Lord a wave. It's a blessing. Don't get me wrong,
-
it's a blessing. If you have help in the house, give the Lord
-
a wave. It's like you're saying, thank you to God that I have
-
help. Give the Lord of wave. Amen. So I was telling them
-
that you see how houseboys and house girls sometimes your mother can insult them,
-
your big sister can insult them, insult them proper. Why he doesn't he
-
hear anything. Do it this way, don't do it this way, and
-
they'll just smile and say, oh sorry, mam, and do it for
-
you. That is humility, Amen, That is humility. So if you
-
can't humble yourself like a sevant, then you can't walk in the annointing.
-
Of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Oh, I said amen. And so
-
finally just write this down. Four enemies of humility. Four enemies of humility.
-
Number one a wrong mindset, a wrong mindset or high mindedness over hygh
-
pen yourself, high mindedness, me, you can't be my friend. I
-
go to SOS. If you don't go to SOUS, you can't be my
-
friend. But you should understand that the world has over eight billion people,
-
not all of them go to SOUS. And the people that God will put
-
in your path, the path to your destiny, some of them have not
-
even gone to school before. But if you are high minded, you say,
-
oh, I go to this school. So if you don't I went
-
to you say me, only gay hair girls are my friends, or fancy
-
pain boys are my friends, or pray sex boys. You are cutting yourself
-
shorts. It's high mindedness. Amen. You have to humble yourself, be
-
sober minded so that you can be friends with somebody who goes to Bencomb's secondary
-
school. Do you understand, yes, I don't know the other side as
-
a secondary school. Some in future say secondary school. Humble yourself so you
-
can be friends with such people. To learn humility. Can I hear an
-
amen. Amen. Number two. Enemy of humility is holding on to a
-
good reputation at all times. Let's look at Philippians chapter two, verse five
-
to eight as a final scripture. Holding on to a good reputation number three
-
points. Not accepting to be a seventh number four points, not accepting that
-
you are a mere human being is an enemy to humility. So let's look
-
at the scripture. The Bible says, I let this mind be in you,
-
which was also in Christ. Jesus next verse seven, but made himself
-
of no reputation. No, Jesus made himself of no reputation, and took
-
upon him the form of a seventh Jesus, the son of the Mosigh God,
-
the King of Kings, the Lord of lords, the one who was,
-
who is and is to come, the lion of the tribe of Judah,
-
the bright and morning star. He he made himself of no reputation,
-
and he took upon himself to be a servant in the likeness of men,
-
and even in the likeness of men. He didn't make himself like a president.
-
He didn't make himself like a governor. He made himself of no reputation.
-
He was a carpenter's son. They said, is this not Jesus Mary's
-
son, Josephson, the carpenter who was making chicken stoo, kitchen stoo or
-
chicken coop the carpenter. Isn't He made himself of no reputation a man,
-
And when he was found in the fashion as a man, he what he
-
humbled himself. So please tell your neighbor. If God can humble himself,
-
then you can humble yourself. Amen. He humbled himself and became obedient.
-
Shout us to all the disobedient friends we have here. You are nothing like
-
Jesus. Amen. He became obedient unto death, even death on the cross.
-
Next verse. Wherefore God has highly exalted him. God has what He
-
has highly exalted him and given him a name that is above every other name.
-
God has given Jesus a name that is above every other name. Next
-
verse, that are the name of Jesus every name should bow of things in
-
heaven and on earth and under the earth. Eleven, And that every tone
-
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
-
Amen. So because of humility, God has exalted him and given him a
-
name. So the name of Jesus is the only name you mention, and
-
sickness runs away is the only name you mentioned. And blind eyes see is
-
the only name you mentioned. And those who are crippled stand up and walk.
-
It is the only name you mentioned. That when someone is dead,
-
they come back to life because of humility, which is the key to open
-
doors. Amen. And so this is the word of God for you today,
-
that if you want to walk through the door of destiny, the key
-
God is presenting to you today is the key of humility. Amen. The
-
key of humility. Amen. And so we should accept that we are meremmortals
-
and that God wants to help us to fulfill His purpose here on earth. Amen.
