-
Father, this morning we have come bearing thanks and response to your goodness.
-
Thank you for your faithfulness even towards us. Thank you for gathering us together
-
again from far in near. We pray the Lord Holy Spirit, you have
-
your way in our miss this morning. We pray that, as your word
-
says, the entrance of your word brings light, and it brings understanding.
-
This morning, we have come to receive light. This morning, we have
-
come to receive understanding. So let it be on to us according to that
-
word, our Lord, this morning, and cause us to be blessed greatly.
-
Before we leave here in the precious name of the Lord Jesus, let
-
a believers say an Amen. And before you are seated, look to your
-
left and to your right and tell your neighbor's good to see you in church
-
this morning. Amen. Tell that neighbor who is not smiling, it is
-
really good to see you in church. Please be seated in the presence of
-
the Lord. Hallelujah. Amen. So we thank God for all the testimonies.
-
Amen. So we thank God that the person who's stole, who took
-
against money by a mistake because they didn't want to be kissed, they retain
-
the money. Amen. It means you are not a thief. And so
-
from today I declare that whoever you are, that God is helping you,
-
and your hands will not belong anymore. Yes, you will not take what
-
doesn't belong to you anymore. Amen. In Jesus Mighty, Ay Amen.
-
How many of you are excited to be in church this morning? Or can
-
you give the Lord a wave? Is that the best wave you can give?
-
Yes? Give You're telling God the Lord, this is me. I'm
-
excited to be church. Amen. And so God has seen your wave,
-
Amen, and He's excited that you're also in church. Amen. By the
-
grace of God our Father. The archbishop declared that the theme for the year
-
is open doors. How many of you are excited to walk through your open
-
doors of destiny this year? Amen? And so this year many of us
-
will walk through our doors of destiny because God has seen our works and He
-
has set before us an open door that no one can shut. Amen.
-
Before the year ended, us speaking to you about three keys the Lord gave
-
to me to teach you about open doors. And the first key I was
-
telling you about was the key of humility that in this year God expects us
-
to walk with the key of humility, expects us to put on the clothes
-
of humility, to be like Jesus. Because Jesus is the ultimate expression and
-
the ultimate example of humility, and because he humbled himself even to death on
-
the cross, that God has highly exalted him and given him a name that
-
is above every other name. Amen. That even at the mention of the
-
name of Jesus Christ, every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that
-
Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. Amen. So that
-
is what humility can give us. So humility brings us exaltation. So in
-
this year, many of you are going to be class prefects. When they
-
are looking for somebody to be school perfect, it is you they will look
-
up to because this year God will exalt you. Amen. When they are
-
looking for the wisest people in your class, you are the one who will
-
come to because God will exalt you this year. Amen. But until you
-
get to that point, you need to walk with humility. Amen. And
-
so we are putting away all forms of pride. If there is a shoe
-
that when you wear you become proud, don't wear that shoe again. Amen.
-
If there is a dress that when you wear you feel proud. Don't
-
wear that dress again so that you are not proud and you remain humble.
-
Can I hear an Amen? The second key the Lord taught us was the
-
key of thanksgiving, the key of thanksgiving. And from one hundred some one
-
o four we can enter into God's presence only with thanksgiving. And on Posit
-
thirty first or the first, Papa preach on the difference between thanksgiving and thankfulness.
-
Who remembers who was there? Amen? Did that message bless you?
-
You see, because you had a foundation already, so it was a top
-
up for you. Amen. So there's a difference between thankfulness and thanksgiving.
-
So go to YouTube listen to that message. You'll be a blessing to you.
-
Amen. And so, as a child of God who has been purchased
-
by the precious plot of the Lord Jesus Christ, thanksgiving should be our habits.
-
Thanksgiving should be our behavior. It should be our attitude. Amen.
-
You can't wake up from bed in the morning as a child of God and
-
all you are worried about is the leftover pizza you left in the fridge yesterday.
-
You have to show gratitude to God, and you need to be able
-
to express your thanksgiving. You express thanksgiving. Imagine somebody has brought you the
-
nicest dress you could ever have. No, in fact, let's go to
-
Wig, somebody has brought your bone straights. Wig. That's when you where
-
you feel gay and you don't express thanksgiving. You think next time when they
-
get born, Lizzy, wad buy for you? No? Amen? So
-
thanksgiving. You should give expression to thanksgiving. So if last year you are
-
not giving expression to Thanksgiving, we say let's thank God and you are standing
-
the like zombie pat one two and three, you need to change. You
-
have to give expression to your thanksgiving. Amen, because God expects your thanksgiving.
-
And the reason that God has been good? Has God been good to
-
anybody? Is he? He's been really good? So expressing thanksgiving is the
-
least we can do. Do you understand? Can you bring one million dollars
-
to God? Do you have one million dollars to give to You don't have
-
one million dollars? Or maybe you have the way he was quiet, maybe
-
he has a Do you understand? The least you can offer to God is
-
thanksgiving. Today we're going to learn about I'm going to teach you about out
-
the key of sacrifice, that is the third one, the key of sacrifice
-
with three keys, key of humility, key of thanksgiving, and the key
-
of sacrifice. Amen. And so let's look at our foundation scripture from Psalm
-
fifty verse five, Sound fifty verse five. And if last year you didn't
-
bring a bible to church, this year, purpose in your heart that I'll
-
bring a bible to church. I'll bring a note book to church. I'll
-
write down notes, I'll take downloads, i will go over my notes,
-
i will meditate on it so that God's word will benefit me. Amen.
-
And the word of God came to the writer and said that, gather my
-
saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
-
So this is God saying that, gather my sayings to me, Gather
-
them, Gather all of them, as we are here, are gathered together
-
to understand. So God is saying that there is going to be a gathering
-
of saints, his saints. And who are saints, People who have received
-
Christ, who have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus, who have
-
been washed clean, who have been justified, sanctified, redeemed, and justified
-
again. By the blood of Jesus, who are now called children of the
-
Most i God. Those are saints. And you are a saint. Please
-
tell your neighbor you are a saint. Amen, you are a saint,
-
he says, Gather onto me my saints. He qualifies that my saints who
-
have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice. Six. Let the heavens declare
-
his righteousness, For God himself is judge a man. Let's look at first
-
bit touchapter two, verse four to five. And so the saints that God
-
is looking for as saints of quality, and what qualifies them is that saints
-
who have made a covenant with God, who have made a covenant with God
-
and offers sacrifices to go. Amen. How many of you have watched a
-
Nigerian movie where there is a priest making sacrifice to some tree somewhere or some
-
rock and you are shaking something aquaaa and they are doing some things. That
-
is a priest that is dedicated to that idol. Amen. And so you
-
cannot just go dristly. You can't just walk there and say I'm going to
-
give a sacrifice to that idol. They are spiritual implications to it. Do
-
you understand. But guess what God has made you and I priests. So
-
it means that we qualify to bring sacrifices to the most psycho. Amen.
-
Can you think about that for a moment. You mention your name to yourself
-
me, I'm a priest. I can bring sacrifices to God, the mosa
-
God, the creator of all things. Wow, that's a great honor.
-
Indeed, Amen, Oh, I said, Amen, Oh, you're still
-
thinking about it. Wow. So the scripture says that coming to him as
-
to a living stone, we come to God as to a living stone.
-
The Bible says in Hebrews that those that come to God must know that he
-
is, and that He is a reward of them that seek him diligently.
-
So we come to God knowing that God is a living stone. Jesus Christ
-
is a living stone. Rejected by men. Jesus was rejected by men.
-
How many of you know that Jesus was rejected by men. He came doing
-
good, but they killed him, and even now people are still rejecting him.
-
Amen. But he was chosen by God and he was made precious by
-
God. Next verse, you also please tell your neighbor you also you are
-
also a living stone. Amen, you are also a living in store,
-
and you are being built up as a spiritual house. You are being built
-
up as a spiritual house. Amen. Where my photographer is, Senuel,
-
where's are you? Please get that? Where's my phone? Please go around.
-
If you see anybody sleeping, take a picture of them and put them
-
on the screen. Amen. You are being built up as a spiritual house,
-
and you are being built up as a holy priesthood. You are being
-
built up as a holy priesthood to do what to offer up spiritual sacrifices which
-
are acceptable to God through Christ Jesus. Amen. And so God is building
-
you up as a spiritual house. He's building you up as his own temple,
-
and he's building you up as a priest to be able to offer sacrifices
-
Amen, which are acceptable to God through Christ Jesus. Amen. And so
-
we want to look at a few types of sacrifices that are in the Bible.
-
Amen, and please write this down. Everywhere there is a sacrifice,
-
there is an altar. Everywhere there is a sacrifice, there is an altar.
-
And please write this also. An altar is a medium that gives access
-
to the spirit realm. An altar is a medium that gives access to the
-
spirit realm. Amen. And so there's always a priest that ministers to an
-
altar, all right, And what you put on the altar is a sacrifice.
-
And some of you might think that altests and sacrifices our Old Testament things.
-
No, even in the New Testament, altars and sacrifice still play out.
-
If you read a book of Revelation, it talks about seven or eight
-
sacrifices an altist. Amen. And so we need to know that even the
-
cross, the cross that Jesus hanged on was an altar, because on the
-
altar the greatest sacrifice ever made in humanity. Hang on that cross to understand.
-
And because of that great sacrifice, all of humanity can be saved.
-
All of humanity can now be called children of God. Amen. And so
-
types of sacrifices. Let's look at our more scripture before we go to types
-
of sacrifices. Let's look at first pit touched up to two verse nine,
-
first bitter two nine. And this is your your identity as a child of
-
God, your identity as a child of God. If anyone asks you,
-
what makes you think that you are a child of God? You should quote
-
first bit touch after two vers nine to them, and you should be bold
-
to tell them that for I am a chosen generation, God has chosen me.
-
You should be able to boldly tell them that I am a royal priesthood.
-
Why because we have come to the living stone. Who is making us
-
also live in stones, and it's building us up as a house, and
-
it's building us up as royal priesthood, holy priesthood who can offer sacrifices to
-
God through Christ Jesus. Amen. So you should be bold to tell them
-
that I am a royal priesthood, I am a holy nation, I am
-
a peculiar people, I am special. And why has God made it so?
-
So that we can show forth the praises of Him who has called us
-
out of darkness into his marvelous light. As we go along, you get
-
to know that praises is a sacrifice, and so because Jesus has saved us,
-
we can offer praises to him legally. Amen. Oh, I said,
-
amen, are you in church? Amen? I say you don't like
-
the message, But whether I like it or not, I don't care,
-
because I'm telling you what to help you and what to give you life.
-
Amen. If I was to tell you what you like, we'll be talking
-
about social media. Five dangers of social media. Don't do a don't do
-
me now. I won't take you to heaven. Amen. Now I won't
-
help you walk through an open door. Even if I come UNDERSTANDIA and teach
-
you economics, I'm doing you a great disservice because over here you don't need
-
economics. You need a word of God so that you may grow thereby.
-
Amen. So please tell your neighbor whether you like it or not, we
-
don't care. We will say it anyway because you need to hear it and
-
you need to know it. Amen. Who knows anything about sacrifices? Or
-
I've said, how many of you knew it before I told you? Please
-
give the a lot away. I don't see any hand. I see one
-
hand. Yes you know something about sacrifices. Yes, that's good, But
-
I see many of you don't know anything about sacrifice. You know anything about
-
all this, But you know everything about YDX, You know every and anything
-
about history, you know biology, you know the male and the female reproductive
-
organs. You know everything but the things in the world of God. Amen.
-
So please tell you an about for free you need this one so you
-
can walk through an open door. Amen. Amen. And so the New
-
Testament type of priest that God has called us to is one dedicated to offering
-
spiritual sacrifices onto God. Amen. If you have, if you are a
-
little traditionally enough, you should know that there are still people who are fetish
-
priests who are still offering sacrifice. They are buying gold and chickens and sacrificing
-
them. By seeing the priest wood we've been called to. We don't kill
-
chickens and rats and goods and peacocks, and no, no, no,
-
we offer to God's spiritual sacrifices. So our sacrifices are of a spiritual dimension.
-
Amen. Because in order for you to engage with spirits, you need
-
sacrifice. Amen. Those who don't say God, go go and worship idols.
-
They are engaging with spirits and they use sacrifice as a medium to engage
-
with the spirits. And how many of you know that God is spirit?
-
Jesus told us samaratan woman, that God is spirit, and they that worship
-
Him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Amen. And so we
-
offer up to God spiritual sacrifices. Amen. Please, sell your neighbor.
-
We offer to God's spiritual sacrifices. Amen. And so God is seeking for
-
you to have expression in coming into His presence by offering to him a more
-
spiritual sacrifice. Amen, offering to him a more spiritual sacrifice. And there
-
are just a few sacrifices I want to speak to you about. Just touch
-
on it, and I will focus on one for today. Next week we'll
-
focus on another. Amen. The first one is prayer as a sacrifice.
-
Prayer as a sacrifice. As a child of God, you need to be
-
able to offer prayers as a sacrifice to God. You need to pray.
-
You don't need to wait for bad things to happen before you are praying and
-
you are clapping your hands. No, even while all things are good,
-
you need to pray because prayer is a sacrifice. And what do priests do.
-
Priests offer up to God spiritual sacrifices. And so prayer is one of
-
the sacrifices you need to offer up to God always. Amen. Number two,
-
Sacrifice of Thanksgiving. Sacrifice of Thanksgiving. I spoke to you about the
-
key of Thanksgiving. So thanksgiving in itself is a sacrifice that every child of
-
God who is born again of water and of the spirit, who has the
-
spirit of God in them. You should be able to give God thanks Amen.
-
If we say if we throw a challenge, we are doing one hour
-
of Thanksgiving prayer. Are you up for the challenge? Who is up for
-
the challenge? Oh, I'm looking at your hand. God is in your
-
handsle If you're out for the challenge, meet us online on Saturday eight pm.
-
We pray from eight tonight and we are just going to thank God.
-
So bring your thanksgiving, Amen, bring your thanksgiving. So sacrifice of thanksgiving.
-
There is also sacrifice of praise, sacrifice of praise. There's a song
-
we used to sing where we're growing up. We bring sacrifice of praise into
-
the house of the Law. We bring sacrifice of praise into the House of
-
the Lord. As we are fer on to you, the sacrifice says of
-
thanksgiving, as we are firm to you, the sacrifice I says of praise.
-
You can offer thanksgiving and praise as a sacrifice to God because you are
-
a qualified priest. God has made you a spiritual priest that can offer up
-
these sacrifices upon to God. People who are not born again are not made
-
priests of God. They can't offer sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving to God.
-
They are not thankful to God for anything. No, Nato, do you
-
understand? But you that has been saved by God. You have been made
-
a priest. And so when you come to church and you are singing,
-
it is not just about the song anymore. Do you understand me? It
-
is about offering a sacrifice to God. It is about what offering a sacrifice
-
to God because it is your responsibility as a priest that God has made you
-
to offer. Sacrifices are goord to God. Amen. So prayer as a
-
sacrifice, sacrifice of praise, sacrifice of thanksgiving. Even you your body.
-
You can offer your body to God as a living sacrifice. That is why
-
you have the mindset. The things I used to do, I will not
-
do them again because you have offered yourself to God as a living sacrifice.
-
Do you understand? So? Sacrifices are important because as a priest, God
-
has called you to another sacrifices, offerings as sacrifices, offerings as sacrifices.
-
One that we often don't pay attention to is the evening sacrifice. The evening
-
sacrifice where David said that let my prayers be unto you like incense, and
-
the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice. And so the evening
-
sacrifice happened in Egypt in Gshan, who has said the name Goshan before.
-
Please your friends who didn't lift their hands, please ask them, did you
-
go to Sunday school or you are a recent born again believer? Amen.
-
Gaushan is in Egypt. That is where the Israelites were living. So it
-
was like the Zungo of Egypt. Do you understand? And there was darkness
-
in Egypt. But God gave them light in Gshan because he told them to
-
make a sacrifice and to put the blood of the lamb the animal on their
-
lintels. And then the angel of Death who was st to kill the first
-
born sons of each the Egyptians, when he gets that, he will pass
-
over because of the blood. So David equates that whole sacrifice to the lifting
-
up of our hands when we are praising God, when we are worshiping God.
-
Amen. And so if you can't lift up your hands to God,
-
then it becomes a sacrificer to God. Amen. Before he didn't know,
-
so you always had your honey, your pockets when we are worshiping God.
-
But now you know so it's in your interest to offer up that sacrifice up
-
on too, God. Can I hear any amen? Amen? So I'll
-
teach you various sacrifices and how they apply to you as a child of God,
-
a man. But today want to zero in on prayer as a sacrifice.
-
Prayer as a sacrifice. Jesus said that men always ought to pray,
-
And when the Bible talks about men, it doesn't exclude the women or the
-
ladies. We are all part of that. All children of God need to
-
pray. All children of God need to pray. How many of you pray
-
this morning? Amen? How many of you didn't pray this morning? Amen?
-
You see when I say how many of you pray this morning, your
-
hand was down. How many of you didn't pray this money? Your hand
-
was down? So which one? Where are you? Where do you stand?
-
Amen? I'm saying, how many of you didn't pray this morning?
-
Give the Lord away and shame the devil. And there's no need lying in
-
church you didn't pray. God has seen you, Amen. But we know
-
that prayer as a sacrifice, So in the morning, of our praises,
-
of our thanksgiving, of our prayers upon to God. Amen. And so
-
let's look at Revelation chapter five vers. Eight. Revelation chapter five is eight
-
talks about the throne Room of God, the throne room of God. And
-
so if you've heard anything like any phrase like the throne room perspective, the
-
throne room is where God, where God reigns. So that's where the seat
-
of God is. And the Bible says that Apostle John was given the opportunity
-
to go and see how the throne of God is set up. And so
-
if you read Revelations chapter five, the whole of chapter five, you get
-
insight into how the heavens of heaven look like where God sits the throne of
-
God. Amen. And so while he was there, there was an announcement
-
that who can come and take this scroll? Who can take this book and
-
open it? And there was no one who was found worthy to open it.
-
But then he started to cry, and the Angel of the Lord said
-
to him, don't cry, we've not son of man, for the Lamb
-
of God is worthy to open to receive the scroll, and he's worthy to
-
open it. So he Jesus asked the Lamb of God took the book.
-
And when he took the book, the four beasts who are in front of
-
God, and the twenty four elders, who when they hear the name of
-
God, they cast down their crowns and they lie on the floor and worship
-
God. They fell down before the Lamb, having in one hand, one
-
of their hands a harp. So a hap is a musical instrument. It's
-
a ten string musical instrument that you play with ten fingers. They had a
-
hap, and in the other hand they had a golden vial. It was
-
a ball full precious gold, formed with gold. And in the vial there
-
were aromas or orders. In our mind we think that ortho is a bad
-
thing. This why is good order? Which is aroma? Amen, which
-
is aroma? They had aromas or incense, which are the prayers of the
-
saints. So please ask your neighbor where does your prayer go to. It's
-
not just about opening your mouth and praying. It should be conscious of where
-
your prayer is going. Because me, my prayer is before God. It's
-
in the golden vials. Amen. And when you read further, the Bible
-
says that there is a burning altar. Remember I said sacrifice comes with altar.
-
There is a burning altar, and that altar has fire in it.
-
And they take your prayers, which is incense, and they cast it into
-
the fire before God, and your prayers comes up before God as is sweet
-
smelling aroma. Sweet smelling incense. Amen, sweet smelling incense. So prayer
-
is a sacrifice. And in this year you should purpose in your heart as
-
a child of God, that you are going to pray to God. Amen.
-
Purpose in your heart. You are going to pray to God. You
-
are going to pray for your family. You're going to pray for your friends,
-
all your friends who are not born again. How many of you have
-
friends who are not born again? Give the lot of wave. Write all
-
their names down, Amen, write all their names. Divide the paper into
-
two. Write their names here not born again, and on the other side
-
right born again, and be praying for them. One after when God makes
-
them born again, you transfer their name to born again. Purpose in your
-
heart. You are praying for them to become born again, so that God
-
will also make them a priest who can also offer sacrifice to God. Amen,
-
so they can also offer sacrifice of prayer sacrifice of thanksgiving to God.
-
Amen. So paypos in your heart that this year, by the time we
-
come to December twenty twenty four, the vile that has your prays inside should
-
be over flowing with prayer points with prayer. Amen, it should be over
-
flowing because guess what. Once they put your prayer in the burning altar,
-
an incense comes out. God will be smelling. Whether the incense is nice
-
or not will determine whether God remember you. Amen. So if your incense
-
is nice, then God will do breathing breathing. Then he said, where
-
is this incense coming from? And then the twenty four or there's someone will
-
say, Oh, it's coming from some girl in the youth. Change.
-
Her name is a Dua. She has been bringing nice prayers. Amen.
-
So let your incense, your prayer go to God like incense. So David
-
said that, Lord, let my prayers come up before you like incense.
-
Whenever I pray, Mate, enter your nostrils. I notice it that I
-
am praying. And anytime I lift up my hands because I've consecrated my hands
-
to you, let it be like the evening sacrifice. Take notice of it.
-
Amen. And so this year I can promise you, if you are
-
going to pray, if you are going to offer up the right sacrifices to
-
God, that Heaven will remember you. Amen. Heaven will remember you,
-
and Jesus will set before you an open door that nobody can shut, no
-
devil from your bloodline? Can do you focal? Do you understand? Yes?
-
One of your mates called me. She texted actually that she wrote the
-
worsy, but all her friends their admissions have come and her doesn't come.
-
So she was worried. And I said, oh, don't. While we're
-
talking, I got angry, and I said, the name of Jesus,
-
any devil in your bloodline that doesn't want you to go to school, we
-
cut them off by divine authority. We disadvantage them. We're command in the
-
name of Jesus. Let your admission come speedily. She had had a dream
-
that somebody in her house and old ladies said you you go to school and
-
we'll see open confrontation. And I said, whoever that person is, may
-
they be arrested and be cursed in the name of Jesus. Then next day,
-
in the morning, she texted me, the admissions have come. I've
-
got to U see see Oh, Yes, when you pray, your prayers
-
will come up to God as an incense, and Heaven will move. The
-
day Daniel purposed in his heart to pray, Heaven responded to his prayer.
-
Amen, and God sent an angel to bring an answer to his prayer.
-
Even when the devils block the angel, God will send another angel. Amen.
-
Until God fulfills his purpose in you, he won't stop. But you
-
have to keep praying. Somebody say, keep praying. When you pray,
-
Heaven will respond. Amen. Even if you know that Heaven won't move.
-
In your case, until you you pray, Heaven will not move. Jesus,
-
who is the living Rock, he had the revelation. He was full
-
of revelations about the church. So he asks the disciples, who do men
-
say that I am? Who do men say that I am? Someone say,
-
Oh, You're Elijah, You're Moses, you are Abc, you are
-
Santa Claus, your this is your dad. And he said to Peter,
-
who do you say that I am? And me? Our God had given
-
Peter the revelation of the Christ. And Peter said that you are the Christ,
-
the son of the Living Girl. And he said that because you have
-
caught this revelation, you have also become a living stone. Your name is
-
Simon, but now you are Petros Peter, which means stone. And on
-
this stone I will build my church. God is building what his house.
-
He's building you as a house. I will build my church, and the
-
gates of Hell will not prevail against it. Amen. So, by coming
-
to the revelation of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, you become a stone that
-
God can build his church with. Amen. So this year, don't just
-
be a church goer. Amen. Please ask your name. Are you just
-
a church goer or a church comer? Eh, don't just be a church
-
goer or a church comer. Amen. You have to be serious with God.
-
So God can build you up as a house. God can build you
-
up as a priest who can offer sacrifices onto God. Amen. And so
-
it talks about the golden vial that contains the prayers of the saints. So
-
be one of the saints who has your prayers in the golden vials of the
-
twenty four Eldest. Can I hear an amen? Or this your amen lacks
-
inspiration? Can I hear a better amen? Amen? And so let's look
-
at some ones are seven Verse twenty one someone's are seven twenty one to twenty
-
two. And the Bible says the Psalmons writes that old man that men would
-
praise the Lord for his goodness. We've established that praises is a sacrifice,
-
that men and women, boys and girls who offer up sacrifices of praise onto
-
God for his goodness. So this is ancest to some of you, those
-
of you who don't know the difference between praise and worship. You think praises
-
is one first song. Worship is one's low song. This is for you.
-
We praise God in response to his goodness, Amen, And for his
-
wonderful works, to the children of men, to the wonderful works of God.
-
So all the testimonies you have had, people, those are the works
-
of God. Amen. How God has delivered people. How somebody where's prass?
-
Cause you said what your mathematics say. Wow, If God hadn't help
-
you, you'll be a bomber. But God has Those are the works of
-
God. Amen. So we praise God in response to his goodness. Has
-
God been good to somebody here? Are you sure? You see? So?
-
You need to give expression to your thanksgiving the way you thank God.
-
It doesn't show that God has done. If somebody come, we is here
-
for the first word's coming here for the first time, so that I know
-
how to say what I'm going to say next. Is today's your first time
-
of worship? Perod us? Please give us away? Want to welcome you.
-
Yes, there's a lady that oh clapp for her. Amen. You
-
see your clapping surface is paralytic. Amen. So let me ask a question
-
again. Has God been good to somebody here? Oh? Yeah, So
-
you've got to give expression to your praise. You've got to give expression to
-
your thanksgiving. Do you understand? So that our sister who has now come
-
here for the very first time, when she sees how you are expressing your
-
thanks like, oh wow, God has really been good to this girl.
-
God has been good to this boy. But you see you lack expression.
-
It is a sign of ingratitude. Say ingratitude, the lack of expression of
-
thanksgiving means you are an ingrad is a big word. It means you are
-
and you are not thankful. It is not in your You lack the ability
-
to thank God. Amen. So you have to give this year when we
-
are praising God, give expression to your thanksgiving. Amen. Because we know
-
you. We've been seeing you on social media. When you go to worldly
-
parties, you are dancing. When you come to church, you are like
-
a rock of ages. You're not moving. You don't move in church.
-
There is no expression. As far as you're concerning church that you don't have
-
an expression. Nobody knows your expression in church because you are not a grateful
-
You are not thankful. Amen, Please tell your neighbor be a thankful person
-
this year and give expression to your praises. We know now that praises and
-
sacrifice isn't not, So give expression to your sacrifice. Amen. When Jeslyn
-
was singing we bou that's song, I don't like it. Do you know
-
why? It shows our hypocrazy on the largest level? How can you say
-
we bow down when you are standing? Eh? How can so? I
-
don't like that song? Because when you are really going to you need to
-
mean it. Don't understand? Kneeling down is also a sacrifice, the sacrifice
-
of bended knees. Jesus often prayed kneeling down. Daniel often prayed, we
-
look at the scripture. Daniel sixteenth. Daniel prayed always kneeling down. So
-
it's a sacrifice. Amen. So and this year we are going to mean
-
what we say. If we don't mean it, we won't say it.
-
Will keep quiet. And it includes our songs. So if we don't mean
-
to bow down to God, you can't say that, oh we are doing
-
spirit bowing down. Oh, if you are, we bow down and worship.
-
If we are saying, now we lift our hands to their great and
-
your hands are down, suspect you stop singing a song, it means you
-
don't mean it. You don't mean to offer a sacrifice and evening sacrifice to
-
God by lifting up of your hands. Do you understand? So mean what
-
you say and do what you say. Amen. Muslims mean what they say.
-
How many of you know Muslims? Anyone you know a Muslim? Do
-
you see that they mean what they say. Yes. So even if they're
-
in a plane and it's time to pray, if they are singing we bow
-
down, they will depth. There's expression to the bound down. You see
-
them bounding down. Amen. So this year, if you are going to
-
sing we bow down, we are going to truly bow down. Give expression,
-
Please say, give expression to your praises, give expression to your thanksgiving.
-
Amen. You can't say we are saying thank you God, I love
-
you Lord for your mess. And you've done your face like Charlie. We
-
can't even qualify how you've done your face. Eh, how can you express
-
I love you to somebody and your faces can't pay serious level? The two
-
don't go together. Amen. So if you are giving expression, express your
-
thanks the way it should be. Amen. I've been to services where people
-
are thanking God. Or you don't even need to. You don't even need
-
to go to the service physically. You just see the pictures from the service
-
and he says that, Ah, this guy astremely worshiping God because you see
-
the expression on their face, how they've lifted at their hands. On thirty
-
first, I was a young guy on the on the field. He was
-
praising. His shirt was wet. He was wet, not with water,
-
with sweat, The shirt was wet. He was praising God. You you
-
didn't even shared one sweat for God. Since generally to desay, not even
-
one sweat my God, not even like you're praising God and even do this
-
never or you are praying and you are sweating and you do this. Hey,
-
God has even he say one sweats this year? We have to change
-
Amen, because we are understanding sacrifice and the key of sacrifice. Amen.
-
Amen. And so David said that all that man will give thanks to the
-
Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works, to the children of men.
-
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving. Please us go back to Some
-
one oh seven, verse twenty two. Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving.
-
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving. Amen. Let them sacrifice the
-
sacrifices of thanksgiving. Because when you are thankful to God, the presence of
-
the Lord is with you, because you easily enter into the presence of God.
-
Amen. And if God is with you, then who can be against
-
you. If God is with you, all your needs will be met.
-
God will meet your daily needs. Amen. If God is with you,
-
you will not have anxiety, pranks, you will be chill, You'll be
-
just fine because God is with you. Amen. And so learn to be
-
thankful and learn to offer thanksgiving to God. Amen. So in this year,
-
instead of sitting there and watching kum Kumbaja and be laughing, go to
-
your room and say the Lord, I've come to thank you. Say to
-
the Lord. Let the words of my mouth, the prayers I'm offering us
-
times. Let it come before you as incense, and let attempt great things
-
for God by lifting up your hands to God. Amen, attempt something you
-
attempt. Lift your hands up to God and say, Lord, I am
-
offering up to you an evening sacrifice. And just as you are pacing in
-
your room, don't please, don't sit on your bed or lie in your
-
bed, you fall asleep, pace in your room. Just say thank you
-
Jesus, Thank you, Jesus. Lord. I'm grateful for life. I'm
-
grateful for your mercies. I'm grateful for all that you've done for me my
-
family. I'm thankful that giving me life. I'm thankful that I have good
-
health. That I who was on admission last year? Anybody, yes you,
-
God delivered you. It doesn't count because God has held you. You're
-
on admission last year, but this year you will not be on admission.
-
The name of Jesus, who learn to thank God and you are. I
-
didn't see a lot of funds. You're on admission last year. This year
-
you're not be on admission. You know nobody will will be on admission this
-
year. Do you believe it? Say Amen? And so if you were
-
not on admission, give God thanks. Even if you're on admission. Many
-
went on admission and they didn't come home, but you came home. God
-
saved you. So just learn to give God thanks. Amen. Just bless
-
his name, give him praise, sing a song of praises as he sacrificed
-
to him. You realize that gradually the presence of God would be your habitation.
-
Amen. And you see that your life will begin to change on a
-
level you don't understand. Because see, if Jesus is in your boats,
-
your boats will not drown. It can never drown. Amen. Whether you
-
go through storms, hell or high water, Jesus is in your boat,
-
you won't drown. You go through troubles, but you come out with a
-
smile and a testimony. I told you that before the year ended, my
-
wife was ironing some clothes. She finished and she forgot, left the ion
-
on and went to bed. I saw it in the morning that the but
-
God contained the heat. The heat did not go beyond the ion. Do
-
you understand. We came to church on Christmas, We finished nice Christmas.
-
We got on there was a gas leak in our house. Those gas smell
-
everywhere and just imagine if we said, oh, let's do something, let's
-
rise something, boom, it'll be like boom. But guess what God preserved
-
that. Oh, we just sang a song and we opened the windows,
-
We opened all the sliding doors. We put on all the fans, We
-
blew all the gas out. Finito, we put on their conditions. We
-
are fine. Do you understand when Jesus is in your boots, eh,
-
you will sail through life with ease. Amen. So it doesn't matter the
-
persecution you go through, It doesn't matter what you are facing your life.
-
You will go through life with ease. Because God is your peace, Amen.
-
And because he's the Prince of peace, you'll give you peace at all
-
times. Can I hear better? Amen? And so let all men give
-
thanks and offer sacrifices of thanksgiving to God. Amen. I can see if
-
I'm talking there. I'm bringing you the mic very soon, Amen. And
-
let our prayers be onto God as incense and then lifting up of our hands
-
as the evening sacrifice. Amen. Now quickly write down these points. Ten
-
principles of prayer according to Daniel. Ten principles of prayer according to Daniel Daniel
-
Chatter six vers ten Daniel, Chapter six, Verst. Ten. The first
-
point is that prayer is very important. Prayer is very important. We make
-
time for things that are important. Amen. Can we say together? We
-
make time for things that are important. Amen. Things that are not important
-
to you, you won't make time for. Amen. When I was in
-
university, I had friends who used to drive five hours to go and see
-
a girl and drive five hours back ten hours on the road because it was
-
important to them to understand. If coming to church is important for you,
-
you will get ready mentally, physically, psychologically, spiritually before Sunday. You
-
won't wait till when your daddy is in the car and honking pa pain.
-
That's why you are ironing your trousers. Amen. We make time for things
-
that are important, So you need to make time for prayer. Amen.
-
There are eight watches in a day. There are four watches when there is
-
light, and there are four watches when it's dark. Amen. And so
-
you need to pray. The minimum time you should pray as a child of
-
God is one hour every day. You should be able to pray one hour.
-
Amen. How many of you want to be challenged to pray for at
-
least one hour? Join us online Saturday, eight pm to nine pm.
-
We'll put a link. Join us, you learn how to pray for one
-
hour at least. The more you join, the more you pray, it
-
becomes a part of you. Amen. So the first principle of Daniel's prayer
-
is that prayer is important. Amen. And so now when Daniel knew the
-
writings were signed, he went home and in the upper room, with his
-
window open towards Jerusalem, he knelt down, kneeling down on his knees three
-
times a day. So Daniel prayed three times a day. And guess what.
-
Daniel was a prime minister. He was a government official. So you
-
can't tell me you are more busier than Daniel. Are you busyer? Don
-
Daniel? You can't be. He made time to pray three times a day.
-
Amen. Are you busier than the archbishop? He prays many times a
-
day. Amen. And he prayed on that day and prayed and gave thanks
-
before God, as his custom was since early days. So since he was
-
a young man, giving thanks and praying, kneeling down and praying to God
-
was his attitude, and he had grown with it. Amen. Number two,
-
No one is ever too busy to pray. Too blessed or too stressed
-
to pray. You can never be too busy to pray. You can never
-
be too blessed to pray. You can never be too stressed to pray.
-
Prayer should be to you as a because breathing in and breathing out is important,
-
So prayer as a child of God should be important to you. Amen
-
asked the first of well, how many of you can go without food for
-
seven days? I saw some hands at the back. Amen. This is
-
the way food is important some of you. If you don't eat once a
-
day, Charlie, you'd be like something like your body will function well,
-
you have spasms, your body will just be shaking on its own accord.
-
Prayer is important as well, Amen, so place emphasis on it. Number
-
three, Prayer is the source of our power and our protection. Prayer is
-
a source of our power and our protection. Until you pray, the situation
-
will not change. You can't wish situations to change as a child of God.
-
Amen, this one is not a Sarah Sarah. Whatever will be will
-
be. You can't wish your situations to change without prayer. Because as a
-
child of God, you are a priest. You offer sacrifices onto God.
-
You can offer prayers as sacrifice to God, and your situation would change.
-
Amen, Your situation would change. And there is no situation that God cannot
-
change. Amen. God is all powerful and he can change all situations.
-
Can I hear an Amen? Number four, Prayer is important in acquiring and
-
sustaining the blessings of God. Prayer is important in acquiring and sustaining the blessings
-
of God. So write this down. By prayer, we can draw blessings
-
from God. By prayer, we can draw blessings from God. By wisdom,
-
we can maintain the blessings of God. By thanksgiving, we can multiply
-
the blessings of God. By prayer, we can draw blessings from God.
-
By wisdom, we can maintain the blessings of God. By thanksgiving, we
-
can multiply the blessings of God. And Number five, for prayer to be
-
effective, in be habitual. For prayer to be effective, it must be
-
habitual. So take one more point. For free prayer must continue both in
-
trouble times and in times of peace. Amen. Can we stand on our
-
feet everybody, I believe today you have something, some knowledge about the key
-
of sacrifice. Amen. And for the next sixty seconds, we are going
-
to offer to God sacrifice of thanksgiving. Amen. And if you can,
-
dare, dare to add the lifting of your hands as the evening sacrifice and
-
send to heaven a sweet smelling incense. Amen. Can you just open your
-
mouth and begin to offer, as a priest a sacrifice of thanksgiving? On
-
to go, Let's sed be your name, Jesus, la kovalahas savileb and
-
deliblimin of us alamah raym alocados velika millis aunt lamaay. Believe it. Father,
-
we give you thanks. We give you thanks, Jesus, We give
-
you thanks. Jesus. You are worthy of all our thanks, you are
-
worthy of all our praise. So we offer to use sacrifices of thanksgiving.
-
We offer to use sacrifices of praise. We offer to you the evening sacrifice,
-
Oh God, tonight, blessing your name and giving your praise in response
-
to your goodness, in response to your good work. So, as a
-
son of man, let's set be your name, Jesus. Let's set be
-
your name, Jesus. Let's set me your name, Jesus. You are
-
worthy, Lord, You are worthy, Lord, You are worthy, Lord,
-
Glory to your name, Jesus, my color bla blah, really believe
-
me my color blah blah bah. Don't let the drums pray for you.
-
Let the sound of your prayers, expression of your prayers go up. Let
-
the Lord hear you pray. Let's be your name, Jesus. Glory to
-
your name, Jesus, Glory, glory, glory to your name, Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord, God Almighty, you are worthy. Blessed be
-
your name. We are thankful, Lord to you for how far you brought
-
us in response to your goodness to us. Because you have been so good
-
and Lord, we say thank you. We say thank you, we say
-
thank you, we say thank you, we say thank you, we say
-
thank you. Thanks a million, Oh God, ray my lord. Ba
-
lah cabal Olivia mimlo moschell lah blah blah blah. Thank you, Lord,
-
Jesus. Thank you, Lord, Jesus. You are great and you are
-
greatly to be praised. We bless your name, We bless your name.
-
We bless your name, We bless your name, We bless your name.
-
Thank you for your pray presence right here, right now. Thank you for
-
your glory right here, right now. Thank you, Lord, Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord, Jesus, Thank you, Lord, Jesus, Thank
-
you Lord, Jesus. Ma lakamba silib for the smoke of your glory in
-
this place right now. Blessed be your name, O God. Lets it
-
be your name. Hold, let's set be your name, Ho Lord.
-
Let's set be your name, Ho Lord. Let's send be your name,
-
Ho Lord, Let's send be your name, Jesus, Glory to your name.
-
Jesus. Worthy are your Lord, God Almighty? Worthy is your name,
-
Jesus, Worthy are your Lord? Worthy is your name? Jesus worthy?
-
Are your Lord, God Almighty? Lest it be your name, Oh
-
God, Oh God, worthy you Lord, you are worthy of it all.
-
Jesus. Blessed be your name, Jesus. Blessed be your name,
-
Jesus, Blessed be your name. Jesus, You are worthy of our thanks.
-
We offer praises as a sacrifice of God. We offer to you a
-
Lord, thanksgiving as a sacrifice of Lord. Let our prayers, so,
-
Lord, come to you as incense this morning. Let our prayers come to
-
you as incense. The Father received the thanks of your people in Jesus' precious
-
name. Let a believers say an amen. How many of you felt a
-
change in you our we pray. Just give the Lord away. Amen.
-
If you have eyes to see, you see the smoke of the glory of
-
God all of this place. That is the very tangible presence of God.
-
Amen. And thanksgiving can bring you into the presence of God. Amen.
-
Let's bother our heads. If you are here, you are not born again.
-
You have not surrendered your life to the lordship of the Lord Jesus.
-
He's not lord over your life. We're spoken of our sacrifices, and we're
-
spoken of our oldest and he sacrifice that is not dedicated on the altar of
-
Christ's dedicated to something else. If you are here, you want to be
-
born again. You want Christ to be lord over your life. Wherever you
-
are, just left up your head. Lift up your heads wherever you are
-
if you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and your personal savior. Is
-
there any hand lifted? If your high is lifted, please come to me
-
in the front. Don't be shy. If your hand is lifted, please
-
come to me in the front. Amen. Let's say a prayer final call.
-
If your hand is lifted, please come to me in the front.
-
Amen. Father will give you thanks for you are good, and your messies
-
and your forever in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
