  1. Right. So we want to ask maybe two or three people. Maybe you're

  2. here in your jersey. Then you want to say thank you to good.

  3. You want to say outwardly, you want to come and stand here and tell

  4. the world. Or you're not standing in front of the world, but you're

  5. standing in front of people that are going to go out into the world.

  6. So technically you're standing in front of the world. So you want to come

  7. and stand in front of the world and come and tell them how good Jesus

  8. has been to anyone with the testiment, any persons with the testimy or just

  9. come to me. Don't even if you have just come to me. I

  10. just need two or three people. Yeah, and as they can, please

  11. clap for them. Yes, in any other persons, two or three,

  12. two or three, look within your life. God has been good. God

  13. has been good. You don't want to encourage the name, but maybe there's

  14. someone there to you. They are fighting the voice. Encourage them. Look

  15. to someone and say I encourage you. Yes, go and share your testimony.

  16. Oh, I have to shiper take and I have another person from the

  17. congregation here, anyone from this side. No one's to say God has to

  18. be good. Anyone from here. Come on, just say, what does

  19. that have to my testimony? Is? We don't say my testimony. It's

  20. not like good people are used to hearing my testimony. There's no such thing

  21. as a small testimony. Amen. Yes, even waking up every day is

  22. an underrated blessing because when you when you are going to sleep and you see

  23. you tell your friend see you tomorrow. I either give her of your life.

  24. No, you're not the giver of your life exactly. You don't know

  25. if you see the next day, all right, So always give thanks to

  26. God when you have the chance. All right. So where do I start

  27. from? Ladies? First of all right? Amen? So my test many

  28. sounds a little funny, but I thank God for today's them we rapping our

  29. jersey. I haven't had lights for over thirty two hours, so I just

  30. thank God that I have something to wear to church. Amen. I wanted

  31. to turn good Ford Year to my mom's life. So my testimony is a

  32. been long, but a cut a shot. So one day I was growning

  33. through TikTok and I came across this person's post. The person is in the

  34. church. I can't mention the persion. So and I came across this person's

  35. post, and I was like, I know this person from church, so

  36. I went to, like look at the person's content. Then there's this one

  37. content that cut my eyes, so like I went to take a look at

  38. it. And mind you, I'm not someone who like listens to like godly

  39. music that much. I'm more of like a worldly music person. So I

  40. saw a worldly music person. Yes, So like I this post caught my

  41. eye and I was like, okay, let me look at this. So

  42. I was calling to it was like a picture posts, so like it was

  43. like random pictures of gospel music, and I was like, like, it

  44. looks interesting. So I went to listen to some of the music the person

  45. posted. I listened to like a lot of it, and since then I've

  46. been so like captured by the godly music I liked more than the worldling music.

  47. And like I've tried to like stop listening to word new music once but

  48. I didn't work. But this time, I'm like, even if i'm bathroom,

  49. no matter what I'm doing, I'm listening to the godlan music. So

  50. I want to pay God for the person's life because it's through that post that

  51. made me change the type of music I listened to. So I want to

  52. also tell you, guys that don't let anyone like you that godly music are

  53. not nice. They are very very very nice. They teachers the Lord tell

  54. you. The old ones they are very nice. The new rock ones are

  55. but like the old worldly music, they are very the old godly music they

  56. are very very very nice. And I like you to go and listen to

  57. this song. It's called Ruak Hakodesh. It's a very very very nice song.

  58. Thank you. So my test money is very shot, and I just

  59. won't send God for the life of this church and for the life of the

  60. Archbishop Nicholas dom come ones, all right, Amen, Amen, oh amen,

  61. are we giving God glory for the testimonies that you just heard. Put

  62. your hands together and celebrate Jesus. Amen. Now stretch with your hands towards

  63. them. You just wants to table into your testinies and a testaments. Some

  64. of you here made me struggling with circular music. Maybe this is your chance

  65. to crenate to a brother this testimony as well, so the changes for you

  66. in Jesus we have prayed with thanksgiving, ah Man. Put your hands together

  67. and give God praise. Amen. Please use Nikolay Nichole. Orn't think your

  68. mom makes up the door and see hallelujah. Amen. I'm pretty sure their

  69. TikTok accounts was the account of someone in the choirt, someone in the Yeah,

  70. I knew it not to post, not to post's the quir Amen.

  71. Amen? Are we good? Oh? Are we good? Are we good?

  72. You don't look excited anymore? Are we good? I only hear the

  73. Liverpool files? Are we great? Are we good? Give Jesus praise in

  74. the house again? Amen? Alright, So I think we've got into a

  75. very important brot said service where we get to hear what God has for us

  76. said. So we want to be very intentional about it. You want to

  77. be sure that you don't know familiarize the fact that we have seen the seven

  78. of World so many times, or because some of you will have access to

  79. Him at any time. We don't want to familiarize that we miss out on

  80. a blast. So you want us all to close our eyes, close your

  81. eyes, closure eyes, focus, focus, focus on God and God alone.

  82. Close and you want to see a short prayer the Father. As these

  83. words come to me, let it change my heart, let it renew my

  84. mind, Let it strenthing me. Let it encourage me whatever I need.

  85. Support letter your words that I hear this, let them become real to me,

  86. Let them become a life. Let it get rid of any deception in

  87. any life. I have believed all this one, give me clarity as your

  88. word comes in the mighty labor of Jesus, that will be one that understands

  89. your word, one that practices your word, and one that is able to

  90. put your word into practice and do that which you have asked me to do.

  91. And the mighty Labor Jesus. Amen. Right now with the standing ovation

  92. or with the standing ovation coming as well, and a round of approause,

  93. put your hands together, and let's celebrate our reverend runs ready, Oh hallelujah.

  94. Plea to look to your neighbor and say, neighbor, I'll be right

  95. to have you said thanks to God? What have they said to you back?

  96. Yes? So when you're right had left, I say, Father will

  97. give you thanks for bringing us together again. Can you just close your eyes

  98. for brief moment? Oh my, state s a eagle. This is your

  99. prayer this morning, So let the church sing it to the loop coming.

  100. Oh my, take covers, take cover, com Comrie Okay, you're gonna

  101. sweet, so one more time, coming me me all my lie beast,

  102. take cover, take cover, cabery, the cabriy divle on n eagle streets

  103. of street. He rides about a drink. Here I have along. He

  104. rides along for you, Medio read me to do sus. I don't know

  105. why this song is telling my heart to sing, so just singing to the

  106. low cop Lets take a spirit. Breathe me, oh Meg smooth, when

  107. you lift your hands, come me olaf, take o bot take step Father

  108. this morning, come live in us all our lives. Please take over.

  109. Holy Spirit, come praying us now, breath in us, take over.

  110. And we made some legal knowledge of presence in our best dining. And I

  111. pray as alone happy way with us, and show us the way to go.

  112. Lead us in the parts of righteousness, where your name say. Let

  113. the entrance of your word round light and let it bring understanding. And Jaesus,

  114. precious name, let's believe that's say. Or can you flap your heads

  115. on the day Jesus hoping half of our Father and the Lord, please be

  116. seated the presence of the Lord, and just say hello to someone seated by

  117. you. This morning. Amen. You are all welcome to church. Amen.

  118. How many of you I have joined teams that have are winning? Amen.

  119. You are on the winning teams. Amen. How many of us are

  120. on the losing teams? Amen? We are on the winning team because we

  121. are on Jesus Society. Amen. So it doesn't matter what team we follow.

  122. If they are losing, is their problem. But we we are Jesus

  123. Society, so we are winning. Can I hear an Amen? Amen?

  124. And so you're all welcome to church this morning. Amen. Still continuing our

  125. series on a living sacrifice to God. Last week we spoke about a living

  126. sacrifice as part of the broader theme of open doors and the sub theme of

  127. access to open doors, Keys that open doors. Amen. And this year,

  128. the first month of the year is almost done. We are going into

  129. the second month. Amen. And one way you can check to see that

  130. you've walked through an open door in a month is that God will give you

  131. a testimony. Amen. So look out for a testimony. Please ask your

  132. neighbor. Are you one of those people who don't testify? Please ask your

  133. neighbor, But when was the last time you testified about God's goodness? Amen?

  134. Please tell them that as the months go by, every month you should

  135. have a testimony about God's goodness. Amen. So it's very important. So

  136. one way you can know that you are walking through open doors is that you

  137. will have testimonies of God's goodness. Amen. And so last week we base

  138. our Foundation scripture on Romance chapter twelve, and we heard something about do not

  139. conform to this world or the patterns of this world, but be transformed by

  140. the renewing of your mind. All right, In order for transformation to come,

  141. we need to renew our mind. Amen. And when we renew our

  142. minds and transformation comes, then we'll be able to test and to prove what

  143. the will of God for our lives is. We'll be able to know the

  144. good will of God. We'll be able to know the acceptable will of God.

  145. We'll be able to know what the perfect will of God is for our

  146. lives. Can I hear an Amen? And so today my message title is

  147. a transformed mind, A transformed mind, Amen, A transformed mind if you

  148. were living a certain way. There are some people on my stretch where I

  149. live, in my area. Every morning they will all come and stand outside

  150. and they'll be brushing their teeth and you see toothpaste from all over their mouth.

  151. And they'll all be standing by the roads and then is spitting on the

  152. road every morning. Every morning when we drive by we see them. They

  153. will be standing by the big the man, the father with a big stomach

  154. would be standing there. The wife will be there, their children, they

  155. will be doing pierre pea, all of them. Just imagine if they end

  156. up owning an apartment at airport city airport where they have a bathroom or a

  157. washroom inside their house where they can brush their teeth into a sink with running

  158. water and wash their face that nobody sees them. Just imagine if they move

  159. to that place and they don't renew their mind. Can you imagine what can

  160. what possibly can happen? They're going to stand on their balcony, you get

  161. it. They will be on the tenth floor. They will stand on the

  162. balcony and brush their teeth and spit out. So in order for them to

  163. fit into the new scenario where they inhabiting, they need to renew their minds.

  164. Can I hear an amen? And so, in order for you to

  165. walk with God as a child of God, mind renewal is important. You

  166. need to renew your mind. Amen. And so if before you actually started

  167. actively walking with God, you used to lie a lot. When the thing

  168. is red, you can say it is black, and everybody you can convince

  169. people to believe that the thing is black, and you become born again.

  170. You cannot continue in that way of life. That needs to be word mind

  171. renewal. Amen. Please ask who has watched any of the Transformer movies.

  172. Yes, Transformer movies. So in order for you to know the will of

  173. God, you need to be transformed. So in the Transformer movies, you

  174. can see a typical car. You think it's just a car that is driving.

  175. Then suddenly the car transforms into something else, a robots. It becomes

  176. something totally different. Do you understand? So for you to be able to

  177. know the will of God and to prove the will of God, you need

  178. to be transformed from your old self into your new self. Your version has

  179. to change. If your version is iOS twelve point zero, you need to

  180. upgrade to IOWA seventeen point worth four. You've got to upgrade. You need

  181. to be transformed, amen. And it is important because we need to know

  182. what the will of God is for our lives. Amen. And so our

  183. foundation scripture says that do not be conformed to this world or the patterns of

  184. this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Amen.

  185. And so today we are going to look at how the transformation can happen and

  186. in what ways we can achieve the transformation so that we can know what the

  187. good will of God is for our lives, so we can know what the

  188. acceptable will of God is for our lives. So we can also know what

  189. the perfect will of God is for our lives. Amen. So now the

  190. question is that how can a believer not conform to this world? How can

  191. a believer not conform to this world? Because it is very easy to conform

  192. to this world. I hope you understand. It is very easy to conform

  193. to this world. But as a believer, you need to be able not

  194. to conform to this world a man. And number one way in which you

  195. can stay away from conforming to this world is number one, by renewing your

  196. mind. By renewing your mind. Number two, the primary way of renewing

  197. your mind as a child of God is through the world of God. The

  198. only way your mind can be renewed for transformation to come is through the world

  199. of God a man. Now, the question is what is transformation? What

  200. is transformation? The dictionary meaning for what transformation is is that it is defined

  201. as a mark of change in form in nature and appearance, A mark of

  202. change, a mark of change in form in nature or appearance. And so

  203. transformation comes only through the Word of God. Can I hear an? Amen?

  204. Oh? This your amen is hungry? Are you also hungry? You

  205. are hungry? Amen? So say a better Amen. Amen? And so

  206. today to understand how how that renewal of mind can come for transformation Today,

  207. I'm not going to be preaching alone. I thought you say, Amen,

  208. some people are coming to preach with me. Amen. And so to understand

  209. what the transformation is all about and how we can achieve it, Let's call

  210. chap adjacent to come and give us the first point on how we can achieve

  211. transformation. Amen. Where shaped Jacon, he's hiding at the corner where Okay,

  212. are here? Please put on your microphone? Yes, and preach to

  213. us how we can achieve transformation. Amen? Amen? Amen? All right?

  214. Shall we turn our Bibles to Romans tend the seventeen Romans, Chapter ten

  215. the seventeen All right, shall we read it together. Can you all see

  216. it? All? Right? So let's do it together. Ready to go?

  217. So then faith one more time. Hallelujah, hallelujah. So one step

  218. towards attaining this transformation is to be conscious about hearing the word of God.

  219. Hallelujah. Amen. So there's one thing we need to understand, which is

  220. our ears our gates to our souls and our spirits. Do you hear what

  221. I said? Our ears are gates to a means there are stuff that we

  222. can allow into our ears that will go straight into our souls and our spirits.

  223. As I was preparing for it, or as I was meditating on it

  224. last night, there's something God was speaking to me about. And there is

  225. a difference between hearing and allowing yourself to hear, because every now and then,

  226. unconsciously we hear different things. You can hear gossip, you can hear

  227. circular music playing in your neighborhood. There's really nothing you can do about it.

  228. But then there is allowing yourself to hear, which transcends the whole act

  229. of hearing, allowing yourself to hear the word of God. So what the

  230. scripture then is saying over here is that faith comes by intentionally allowing yourself to

  231. hear the word of God. And we get to understand that faith is the

  232. assurance of things hopeful, the evidence of things not seeing. So, as

  233. a believer, your faith, your faith is very important in your walk with

  234. God. Your faith is very important in this transformation and the renewal of your

  235. mind that we are speaking about. Because if you want to become like God,

  236. if you want to have the nature of God, then you want to

  237. spend time in this word. You want to spend time hearing and hearing and

  238. hearing and hearing and hearing by the word of God. There is a friend

  239. of mine that I know each time we are speaking, or we are together,

  240. or we are doing something unconsciously, once there's silence, once we are

  241. not speaking about anything, he plays a podcast or he plays a sermon.

  242. He's very conscious about it. He plays a semon. He won't give space

  243. for there to be silenced throughout because he wants to hear the word of God.

  244. He wants to constantly be filled with the word of God. And as

  245. a believer, that is what you want to surround yourself with. You want

  246. to surround yourself with God's voice you want to surround and how do you hear

  247. God's voice through his way by him hearing the word of God. Like our

  248. brothers shared today, he used to have a problem with listening to ungodly music.

  249. And ungodly music has its own disadvantages because the more you listen to it,

  250. you become what you are listening to. So if you are looking to

  251. become more like God, if you're looking to become if you're looking to have

  252. this transformed and renewed mind, you want to be sure. You want to

  253. be very intentional about what you allow into your eargates. You cannot allow just

  254. anything. You cannot allow beerna boy and thing that you still listen to God.

  255. You cannot allow all these other junk and all these other things that are

  256. out there in the world. And you want to still, some way,

  257. somehow hear the voice of God, because it's in the voice of God that

  258. you get to find out who you are, you get to find your purpose.

  259. All of it is embedded in the world. So then faith comes by

  260. hearing. It comes by hearing, like our Papaul say, it comes by

  261. hearing, hearing, hearing, hearing, and still hearing. Because there's no

  262. point where you get to where you stop, you keep. You need to

  263. keep hearing because there's so much noise in the world. There's so much deception,

  264. there's so much lies, so many lies. Sorry, there's so many

  265. things that look like the word of God. There are so many things that

  266. are out there that are contradicting the word of God. If you do not

  267. allow yourself to hear the word of God and continue hearing the word of God,

  268. your faith even gets attacked, because that's what the enemy is looking for.

  269. He's looking to attack your faith. He's looking to attack that foundation.

  270. Because if you do not have faith, you cannot even please God. Amen,

  271. Amen, Amen. If you do not even have faith, you cannot

  272. please God. So faith comes by hearing, and by hearing and by hearing

  273. the word of God. And as a believer, you want to do everything

  274. possible to make sure that you are hearing the word of God, whether it's

  275. in songs that are inspired by God, whether it's in sermons. So you

  276. have to make use of the because right now, with a podcast app starter

  277. out there, you don't have to pay or subscribe. You can listen to

  278. any sameone, whether it's here at Bishop Aposo, someone anyone. But you

  279. just want to be sure that you are constantly hearing the word of God.

  280. You are giving premise to the Word of God in your life, and when

  281. that happens, your faith is strengthened. Amen. Amen, So offware Jason,

  282. Praise God. So number one point on how your transformation can come about

  283. is by hearing the word of God. Amen, please write this down.

  284. There is a difference between listening and hearing. There is a difference between listening

  285. and hearing. If you keep quiet for a moment, you will hear a

  286. lot of sounds. Everybody, just listen. You hear a lot of sounds.

  287. You are hearing my voice, you are hearing the air condition you are

  288. hearing the static sound from the speakers. If you listen even further, you

  289. be able to hear the service, the main service. So there's a lot

  290. going on around that your ear has the ability to listen to. But for

  291. you to hear means that you need to focus. So if you come to

  292. church and I'm preaching, you are hearing all these sounds. You are listening

  293. to all these sounds, and you decide to only hear the air conditioner,

  294. it means that you've zoned out what I'm saying, and it will not benefit

  295. you. So number one point, we are transformed through renewal by hearing and

  296. hearing and hearing the word of God. Can we club for Shepherd Jason for

  297. giving us that word. Amen. And so let's call Shepherd Jifa to bring

  298. us the second point of what it means to be transformed and be renewed in

  299. mind. Man. So we're going to talk about reading the Word of God,

  300. and let's open to Revelations one verse three. So it's interesting how I

  301. was given this topic that's read the Word of God because I wanted to get

  302. myself a new Bible. So I'm happy that I'm able to get a bible

  303. to read the Word of God. Amen. So that's Revelations. We can

  304. read it together. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words

  305. of this prophecy, and keep those things which are writing in it for the

  306. time is near. Amen. So preceding this scripture, preceding the scripture,

  307. it's talking about Jesus doctrines and the people that got the chance to experience Jesus.

  308. And so when you read it again with this mindset, you know that

  309. the things that he's saying that you should keep are the things that he did,

  310. the things that he's commanded, the things that he said in his word.

  311. So there's this part of there's this part of God that I have come

  312. to love so much that everything that he says we should do, there is

  313. some benefits to us for it. When we are reading Bible says that blessed

  314. is He, it makes us glad, it makes us happy. I don't

  315. know if you've ever studied like, let's say, signs and then you understood

  316. the signs and you're you're happy that you understand. That's how you study the

  317. Word of God. That's how you read the Word of God. When you

  318. read it, there's this joy, there's this gladness that comes to you.

  319. And Bible just mentions that, yes, you are blessed. You are happy,

  320. happy in your spirit that you have read the Word of God. And

  321. this is what we are supposed to feed on daily. So this is the

  322. little that I want to share with you. And there's one more thing I

  323. want us to know that as we study the Word of God, we are

  324. able to divide easily divide. This is in Timothy. I think we could

  325. add that to it. It's just a supporting scripture. In Timothy TEWO Timothy,

  326. Chapter two, Verse fifteen, Steady to show thyself approved unto God.

  327. A workman that needed not to be ashamed if you don't want to be ashamed

  328. of. Like let's say you go out and you want to witness to someone.

  329. How would you witness to someone if you don't know what is in the

  330. Word of God. That's why we need to read, and we are happy

  331. when we read. So let's just read this together and O will end here.

  332. Steady to show thyself approved onto God. A workman that needed not to

  333. be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truths. Amen, I hope you

  334. were blessed. Amen. Thank you for that. Amen. So what's is

  335. number two point? Read the word quiet time? Do your quiet time?

  336. Read the word? Read the word? How do you read the word?

  337. Number one s scripture? You can read a verse, you can read a

  338. chapter. So use the soap approach soap s o AP SAP number one scripture

  339. number two observation, So you write down what you have observed in the scripture.

  340. So SAP number three a application. How can you apply the scripture to

  341. your life? How can you apply the Scripture to your life, and p

  342. you find a prayer point out of the scripture and pray it to God.

  343. Amen. So read the word. Read the word. All right, let's

  344. call allow them to give us the number three point from Acts seventeen eleven.

  345. Hello everyone, Okay, so I'm here to talk about studying the scripture,

  346. and we'll read from Act at seventeen in verse eleven. Shall we all read

  347. these where? Okay? So here it talks about the people in the other

  348. town which didn't like I'm sorry, like there's too my attention on me.

  349. So yeah, it talks about studying the scripture, which means whenever we're listening

  350. to the word, we need to go back on our own selves and study

  351. the scripture to check and see whether what we have heard or what we've left

  352. outside is actually in the Bible. So here you need to be eager.

  353. You need to be eager, you need to be prepared. And as we

  354. prepared. Here a practical example, a biblical example is appost to for then

  355. when he was course, so he used to be a prosecutor. Yeah,

  356. So on his way to Damascus, he encountered like he met Jesus and he

  357. had a powerful encounter with Jesus. So that was when he like, he

  358. got into Christianity. So from here when he went he has to we went

  359. to study the scripture. He studied it, and he's like, he applied

  360. it. We don't only study the scripture by just reading. We have to

  361. study, understand, and apply. Yeah. And also I can relate this

  362. to me whenever I read the Bible. Whenever I read the Bible, it

  363. reflects my day. So I can't remember. One day I read a scripture

  364. which forgotten, and my room with was like and then it was ass and

  365. he was like, father, what a by lent? And I was like,

  366. he shouldn't worry. But with God, all things are possible. And

  367. he said that, oh, yeah, that's true. And the scripture I

  368. read that day also says that God helps those who help themselves, which I

  369. told him that he needs to help himself before God can't help him. You

  370. can't just sit there and be watching movies or having fun and expect God to

  371. help you. You need to take a step. You need to do something

  372. for God to step in. So here this scripture emphasizes on we studying the

  373. Bible like with a diligent mindset study the scripture very well so that we understand.

  374. Like whatever I have been taught, we get it. Sometimes we go

  375. our day the things we hear. Like as she and Jason said, he

  376. said, some people see fourse things which like you. If you're not a

  377. strong believer, you may take those things into consideration and need to affect your

  378. life. But when you go back, you steady and you see that no,

  379. this person is right. You see that there's the right thing to do,

  380. and there's not like the other thing you're not supposed to do with it.

  381. If you all get me, so, I'll end here, and I

  382. would like to say thank you to whatever they may be suspect. Oh are

  383. you clapping for your friends? Amen? Please tell your neighbor next time it

  384. will be you. Were you preaching? Amen? We are teaching you how

  385. to preach. Amen. And so what's the point study the word? When

  386. it comes to the Word of God, you need to study the word.

  387. So the scripture says that and they were more noble than those in Thesalonika.

  388. It means that the people that the Bible was talking about, they were no

  389. more than those in Tarsalonika. In that when it was about time to receive

  390. the word. They received the word with all readiness. They came to change

  391. with a notesbook and a pen, with their phones, ready to take notes,

  392. readiness to receive the word. And when they received the word, they

  393. searched the scriptures daily, They listened to podcasts. They will open their Bible,

  394. they will check, they will check the reference. Is this reference true?

  395. Or the pastor is trying to deceive me and try t to cohesce me

  396. into being something or behaving another way. Amen, And so study the Word

  397. of God to show yourself approved onto God, a workman that needs not to

  398. be ashamed. Amen. One way you know true Christians is when it comes

  399. to the matter of the Word of God. When it comes to the matter

  400. of the Word of God, false Christians or shallow Christians, they don't have

  401. anything to say. But when we start talking about Beyonce, they can tell

  402. you all the songs Beyonce has written. They can tell you all their football

  403. the Mandu players, they can name all of them, even those on the

  404. bench the reserve plate they can't name. They know all their names. But

  405. when it comes to the Word of God, because they don't study, they

  406. can't tell you. Amen. So study the word of God. Please tell

  407. your neighbors study the word of God. Amen. Let's call shepherd training in

  408. sharaia bor to come and give us the fourth point. Amen. Let's give

  409. a microphone. You have a micro Okay, Hi everyone? So I first

  410. want to thank wh yone for this wonderful opportunity. Please, let's turn our

  411. bibles to someone one night. This ninety eleven. So it says that how

  412. can a young man cleanse his way by taking heed according to your word?

  413. Verse ten? With my whole heart, I have sought you. Oh,

  414. let me not wonder from your commandments your word. Have have your word?

  415. I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Amen.

  416. So I think we are all familiar with this scripture, especially the verse

  417. eleven. I think it's even a song. How many if you know that

  418. song? Yes? So So. Basically, the first part of the scripture,

  419. which is this nine, talks about how a young person can stay ill,

  420. and it's definitely by obeying God's word. We have a lot of scriptures

  421. in the Bible. There are lots of commandments. We know the ten commandments

  422. like growing up, we know God says not still do not like do not?

  423. Yes, so all those are the ten commandments. And once you are

  424. able to study the word of God, you are able to meditation on the

  425. word of God. You end up like memory the scriptures. Because this point

  426. is to memorize the scriptures. That's why sometimes when everyone makes us memorize some

  427. scriptures, he gives us a scripture and he says that, let's say together.

  428. It's not just for the fun of it. You have to memorize the

  429. scriptures so that when you're encountered with temptations, when you're encountered with sin,

  430. you remember what the word of God says. And then that's supposed to be

  431. like a check for you. Once what you're about to do is contrary to

  432. the word of God, then you abstain or you refrain. Please, am

  433. I making sains? So it says that a young person can only be peeled

  434. by obeying God's word. And you can obey the word of God when you

  435. know it. Once you know the word of God, it's it's it's with

  436. your spirits. And once it resonates with your spirits, you end up it

  437. stays in your heart. Please you understand. So you have to hide the

  438. word of God in your hearts and that's like very important, because the way

  439. of God is actually life. We don't just memorize I can't do all things.

  440. Through question strengthens me. And then a paper, a math exam your

  441. crying because you're wiking math. The Bible says I can't do. So that's

  442. the benefit of what's memorizing the scriptures why I encountered with various temptations and situations

  443. in life. You can use a scripture as a checker for yourself and once

  444. how you're feeling is contrary to what God says about you, you just have

  445. to align with what the Word of God says you understand And interestingly, growing

  446. up, my father has always made my siblings and I memorize a lot of

  447. scriptures. So like for him, we know about night to night memory existant

  448. over But the truth of the Master is that God we sitt on learning,

  449. they say, shout, really forgotten some. But I believe God gave me

  450. this topic to cause me to be more serious with that training I was given.

  451. So henceforth, just don't just study the word of God, don't just

  452. do your quiet time, try your best to memorize the scriptures. For example,

  453. if you're in encountered with some kind of fear. Once you know some

  454. twenty three, the fear will have you around. Amen. Amen. Oh

  455. are you clapping your hands? Amen? So memorize the word of God.

  456. As a child of God, you need to memorize the word of God.

  457. And how you memorize the word of God is you meditate on the Word of

  458. God. Think on the Word of God. Think about the Word of God.

  459. Amen. I had a pastor give a definition to meditation. He says

  460. that meditation is the process of thinking on the word of God and til the

  461. Word of God speaks to you. So think on it and tell the word

  462. word speaks to you. Amen. So that, as shepherd Insurer said,

  463. when you are faced with the situation, because you have meditator on the word,

  464. meditator on the word of God, and the word of God has taken

  465. root in your heart, that word speaks to you. Amen, that word

  466. speaks to you. When you are in a place of anxiety, the Word

  467. will speak to you. Fear not, for I am with you always.

  468. Do you understand when you are in a place of luck, the word of

  469. God will speak to the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want The

  470. word will speak it makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads

  471. me. Besides the still waters, the word of God will speak to you.

  472. But until you meditate on God's word, that word has not taken root

  473. in your heart. Amen, So meditate on God's word in order to memorize

  474. God's So memorize God's word. Amen, let's go. Shepherd a joinsura to

  475. also give us the fourth or the faith point Elijah. Amen, and servers

  476. introduced us into our point. We thank God for this moment. Memorize the

  477. scripture. And then after memorizing the scripture, you meditate on the scripture.

  478. Amen, memory verse for that is some one someone Verse two and three.

  479. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and his law, and

  480. in his law he meditates day and night. Verse three. He shall be

  481. like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth in a season,

  482. that brings forth fruit in a season, whose sleeve also shall not wither,

  483. and whatever he does shall prosper. Amen. Please take us back to

  484. verse two. He says that, but his delight is in the law of

  485. the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night. Now we

  486. understand the process. So It comes from hearing the word of God, reading

  487. the word, studying the scriptures, memorizing the scripture. And now you meditate.

  488. To meditate means to think about, to ponder over all, right,

  489. how many of us understand that? Good? So when you think about a

  490. scripture and you meditate, that's how you meditate on the word of God.

  491. Then you begin to break it down, all right, you begin to break

  492. it down. For instance, let's say, Philippians for verse six, finish

  493. you as that scripture? Please, Philippians for ver six. It's just an

  494. illustration. It says, be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by

  495. prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known onto God.

  496. You've meditated, you've memorized the scripture. You study the scripture. And

  497. then now in times of anxiety there's something you're so worried about. This word

  498. comes to mind because you have meditated on the way you think about it.

  499. It says, don't worry about anything, care for nothing. So because you

  500. understand and have memorized the scripture, it comes to mind. And once you

  501. keep thinking the word, believe me, in your reflection or meditation, you

  502. engage your spirit man with that scripture and communicate with the spirit of God.

  503. You engage your spirit man as you're pondering on the word of God. He

  504. said, be anxious for nothing, and so I shall not fear. I

  505. will not be worried about what I will eat or what I will drink.

  506. God is my provider, Jehovah is my job. You pray this, you

  507. stir it up in your spirit. Amen. Amen. So when things are

  508. turning upside down around you. Your mates are worried in school because everything is

  509. going wayward or everything is going sideways, you stand strong, You stand firm.

  510. They see that transformation in you. Why are you so quiet? Why

  511. are you not worried? When Jesus was in the boat with his disciples and

  512. the storm was coming in, and he said, Master, do you not

  513. care that we perish? And he said, why do you have such a

  514. little faith? Jesus had grown up studying the Word, even though he was

  515. the son of God. He studied the Word so that he could walk the

  516. word. Your meditation helps you to engage your spirit man and connects you to

  517. God so that you were able to pray effortlessly and walk in the spirit.

  518. You're transformed. Your mind is renewed. Amen, in the name of Jesus

  519. even bless you, Oh hallelujah. So what point did just talk to us

  520. about meditate on the word of God. Amen. If you just listen without

  521. hearing, if you just listen without reading, if you just listen without studying,

  522. if you just listen without remembering or memorizing, if you just listen without

  523. meditation, the word of God will not profit you anything. Amen. So

  524. in conclusion, God expects us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

  525. And how transformation comes is through the word of God. Amen. Transformation

  526. does not come through motivational talk. Transformation comes only by the medium of the

  527. Word of God. Amen. And so our prayer today is, Our Lord,

  528. let your word abide in us, richly, teach us how to steady

  529. your word. Teach us to think on your word. Teach us to memorize

  530. your word. Teach us to meditate on your word, so that your word

  531. will profit us richly. Can I hear an? Amen? And can somebody

  532. please stand on your feet? Amen. I hope you've got all five points

  533. down. And so just say this prayer to God that Father help me so

  534. that your word benefits me. Amen, Just pray that prayer to go.

  535. I want your word to benefit me. I want your word to be so

  536. deeply in my word. I want to be able to read your word.

  537. I want to be able to memorize your word. I want to be able

  538. to understand your word when I read. I want to be able to men

  539. on your word. I want your word to benefit me always, at at

  540. all times. I need your word to be and me richly, so that

  541. always, at at all times, my mind can be renewed and I can

  542. be transformed for what you have in store for me. In Jesus' precious name,

  543. let her believe. I say a name, man,
