I just want to thank God for you know, for some time now,

I used to struggle with a lot masturbationing and stuff, and it was hard

to like stop. It was hard then I don't I couldn't find anyone to

talk to you about it. So there's this like small fellowship in my area.

So I just I joined twenty seventeen, and then I spoke to somebody

and then the out stay. I was struggling with it. I couldn't like,

I couldn't, I couldn't like resist. I didn't build my resistance yet,

so I kept paying, I kept reading my bag. And then I

kept telling myself that I'm not going back again, especially with living songs.

All there are times I'll be like, oh, wown't listen to any secular

music. But that was even what I was propelling their design for, like

those things spawning those things. So I kept even though when I say I

won't do it or end up doing it, I kept. I kept saying.

I kept professing that I'm not going to do it. I'm tired,

like my brain. So and then I de tended to give myself full time

to the Bible. So I kept studying, studying the Word so me.

For me, that's what I've been doing so far. I've been spending time

with God because once I'm spending time with Him, he takes away those those

bad effects. Aha. So there's been there's been some time now I've not

really gone back to it, and I'm grateful. I'm here for Hermen,

But I believe strongly that you will not leave the same way you came

to church this morning, because Jesus is here, and anyone who has encountered

Jesus, anyone who has ever encountered Jesus, has never remained the same I

encountered Jesus as a young boy, and my life has never been the same

again. Amen. And so God bless you for coming to church once again.

In the past few weeks, we've been dealing with the mind. We've

been dealing with Romance chapter twelve, verse two. Let's have Romance twelve two

on the screen, which Poll's letter to the church in Rome. He writes

to them that don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the

renewing of your mind, so you will know what the will of God is,

the good will of God, the acceptable will of God, and the

perfect will of God is for your life. Amen. And so last week,

by God's grace, last week, by God's grace, we looked at

some types of mind conditions, mind conditions that potentially, as a child of

God, if you open yourself up to unhealthy thoughts, that those thoughts can

influence your mind to have that state of mind. Amen. And so we

looked at the canon mind or the natural mind that is an enmity with God

because it cannot receive anything from God. The can of mind is an enemy

to God in that it doesn't believe in God, it doesn't want to do

anything for God. It doesn't want to obey God's instruction. It just wants

to live by itself and rule by its and have its own way of life

a man. We look also at the anxious mind, in that as a

child of God, you can have an anxious mind. You can be anxious,

and anxiety will bring to bear fear in your life, and you become

a fearful Christian. When you hear of which you jump when you sleep and

you hear o ooh, then you are you are just you can't sleep again

till morning. You have fear. Everything you do will be based on fear.

Amen. But we've come to understand that God has not given us a

spirit of fear, but he has given us the spirit of power, of

love, and of a sound mind. Amen. That brings us to the

fourth mind state, which is the accurate mind or the sound mind. Amen.

Now you need to understand that Satan wants to control you. Please tell

your neighbor do you know Satan wants to control you? And how Satan will

control you is by controlling your mind, by bending your mind into subjection and

into submission. Amen. But God is not interested in controlling you. God

is interested in influencing you so that you take the right decisions for your life.

Amen. From the beginning of time, when God created the garden and

everything in it and created man, he said to Adam, I've created all

these things. There is every food you need to eat for the rest of

your life in this garden. But there is one tree, the tree of

What tree is that? The tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

He says, don't eat of this tree, because the day you eat of

it, you will die. Do you understand. Someone will say that,

why didn't God just cover the tree, or didn't Why did he have to

create that tree. God is about giving you choices. And when he gives

you the choices, he will recommend to you what a good choice is,

so that you choose the right choice. Amen. At least that you will

never choose the right choice. Amen. And so God said that today I've

said, before your life and death, choose life. Do you understand,

Choose life, don't choose death, choose life. And so the mind is

an important asset to every child of God. Your mind is an important asset

to every child of God. Say, Time will control you through your mind.

God will influence you through your mind, so that you are able to

live according to His will, and he spent. Amen. How many of

you like to day dream? Yeah, all right, there's no shame in

it. Please give the Lord away and shame the devil. Amen. People

who don't daydream are not exercising their mind. Do you understand? Because before

God said, let us create man in our image and in our likeness,

man was already a figment of the thought of God. God thought about man,

and so by speaking thinking, he came forth with his mouth and said,

let us create man in our own image and likeness. The Bible says

that pass the man thinks in his heart, so he is. The Bible

also says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

All right. So when I was growing up, about thirteen twelve years,

even earlier eleven years, I used to like daydreaming a lot. That was

my hobby. Our daydream and I will imagine how God will make my life

in future. Our daydream and imagine that in future I will have a wife,

I will have children. Our daydream that in future I will be a

pastor, and then I will be an engineer. I used to daydream that

I have a business. I have another business. I have another business,

Our own houses, our daydream that I live in a nice house. I

daydream. So when I'm daydreaming and you make noise, you destroy, You

make me very upset because daydreaming was my habby place. The mind has the

ability to create. And guess what, all the things I used to daydream

as a young boy, about eighty percent of them have come to pass.

Johnderstand Yes, have come to pass because when I was growing up, I

didn't grow up with my parents. So it was part of my heart desire

that one day, when God blesses me and I grow up, I'll have

my own car. I'll have my wife in the car I have visited by

me and my children will be at the back. That is my reality.

Now do you understand? So your mind has the ability to create things,

and God has made it that way so that you can think about things that

are outside of your present reality. If your present reality is that you share

a bedroom with five other siblings of yours and you have to sleep like sardines

in the room, you can begin to daydream. That's not too long from

now, I will have my own bedroom. I'll have my own bathroom inside

my bedroom. I'll have a bathtub in a condition in my bedroom. You

need to begin to exercise your mind so that God can influence an outcome of

your life. Can I hear? Amen? So your mind is an important

passet. Amen. And God wants to influence your mind with his thoughts because

Jeremiah twenty ninety eleven, God said that I know the thoughts that I think

towards you. They are good thoughts, not evil thoughts, thoughts to bring

you hope and the future, or thoughts to bring you to unexpected end.

So, if you are in school, start daydreaming. If you are in

SAgs, daydreaming that you are already doing medicine in university. All right,

start daydreaming that you are already attending to patience you accounts. You are a

computer engineer. You are doing wild things. You are developing AI point three

to understand. Start daydreaming so that God can influence your mind to bring it

to pas. Amen. Because the control Satan wants to have over your mind

is to stop you from thinking of anything outside of your presence circumstance. He

wants to pend your mind into subjection and into submission, but purpose in your

heart that it is only God who influenced your mind. Amen. Can you

lift it right and say, Lord, Holy Spirit, influence my mind the

name of Jesus, so that I can begin to think about things that you

have purpose for me in Jesus' precious name. Amen. And so I spoke

to you about the reprobate mind last week, the debates mind, the reprobate

mind that has see that God exists. The atheists will claim that there is

no God, but they are very preoccupied with the fact that a God exists,

and they are trying to disprove that God exists. And because of that,

God, say that you give them to a debased mind, and their

hearts will be darkened. So there is darkness in their mind and in their

hearts, all right. But the mind that God wants us to have is

a sound mind that can be influenced by the sprain of God. Amen.

And in light of that, today I want to speak to you about the

ultimate mind condition that God wants you to have, which is the mind of

Christ. Somebody say with me, the mind of Christ. Please say,

like you believe it, the mind of Christ. Amen. So let's look

at Philippians chapter two, verse five to eight as our foundation. Four this

very thing the mind of Christ. Can we read it together? Three to

one go, Amen, just hold it there. Verse five again, Please

now read it to your neighbor. Preach to your neighbor with the scripture.

Three to one go, Amen, preach to your other neighbor. Amen.

I can see some people. They are not preaching. They think we are

joking here. Hey, preach to your neighbor. Do you know what you're

doing. You are saving your neighbor because you don't know. Probably they did

some bad thing yesterday and they've come to church and they are pretending to be

Christians. But preach to them so that they would change. Can you preach

to your neighbor one more time? Three to one go? Amen. So

there is a mindset that Jesus had, and apos all to the church in

Philippi. He says to them, let the mind of Jesus be, and

you have the same mind and the same attitude as Jesus had. Amen.

So let's look at the NLT for Philippins two verse five Philippians two five and

them come to six. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. If you are

going to have the mind of Christ, you must have the same attitude that

Jesus had. Ver six. Though he was God, he did not think

of equality with God as something to cling to. Verse seven. Instead,

he gave up his divine privileges, took the humble possession of a slave,

and was born as a human being. And when he appeared in human form,

he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on the

cross. The mind of Christ, the primary characteristic of the mind of Christ,

is a mind of humility. Christ Jesus was humble. Jesus said that

I and my Father are one, and so if the Father is God,

then the son is God. So God came from eternity into humanity, and

he humbled himself. That he was accused as a criminal, Yet he didn't

respond. He was beaten like a mere criminal. He did not respond.

Soldiers who have not brushed their teeth in six months spat on him. He

didn't respond. They lashed him as though he has gone to steal somebody's good,

But he did not respond. The mind of Christ is humble. Amen,

and one of the keys have been teaching you from the being of the

year. One of the keys for open doors this year is the humility that

you need to humble yourself so that God will exult you. And in this

year anyone who humbles themselves go will exalt them far above Amen. So we

we are the way to being exalted. I don't know about you. If

you want to be exalted and join us, let us as before God.

Amen. The second characteristic is that of a mind of Christ. Is that

the mind of Christ is obedient to God and his word. The mind of

Christ is obedient to God and his word. You cannot claim to have the

mind of Christ and not obey the word of God. Obedience is a key

indicator that you have the mind of Christ, Amen, vers nine. Therefore

God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above

all other names, that are the name of Jesus. Every knee should bow

in heaven and on earth and under the earth because of the humility of Christ.

Jesus. His name is far exalted in the heavens, on the earth,

and under the earth. Everywhere you go, whether physical or in the

spiritual realm, Jesus' name is far above. And when you mention the name,

everybody needs to bow down and declare that Jesus Christ is wrong. Amen.

And so a few other characteristics of the mind of Christ is that the

mind of Christ thinks of things above. Things above. You think on the

word of God, what the Word of God says concern in your life.

The mind of Christ thinks about others. The mind of Christ is concerned about

others. Amen. How many of you called someone to tell them that jally,

I'll see you in church on Sunday. Anybody yes, or please give

the Lord away? I see a few handser, I see a few answer,

I see a few answer. I see a few answer. Please ask

your neighborhood. The didn't raise their hands, so you cry, what mine

you have? Please ask them again? You cry, what mind do you

have? Amen? The mind of Christ thinks about others because Jesus cared so

much about others. The Bible says that he went about doing good. You

get it. Jesus went about doing good, and so Jesus had a lot

of fellowship with his brethren. He had a lot of fellowship because he had

the mind of Christ. So uponing, saying to the church let this mind

be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. So have the same attitude

that Jesus Christ had, because now you are born again. Are you born

again? You believe you are born again? Do you believe you have the

spirit of God in you? Yes? Then you need to have the mind

of Christ. You need to be like Christ. You need to have the

attitude of Christ. Amen. The other characteristic of the mind of Christ is

that the mind of Christ does not entertain high things. The mind of Christ

is not proud. Just imagine Jesus Christ walking around and saying, hey,

do you know who I am? Do you know who I am? He

would not have been received, But because he was humble, he was received.

He went about reaching the Gospel to the poor, and they received him.

Amen. So the mind of Christ does not mind high things. If

you are here you have a problem with high things. Your horses in the

air, you always like high things. Be assured that God does not have

interested in you. Be very assured that God cannot use you for anything.

The people that God uses are people who are humble. Do you understand.

I was just meditating this morning. The woman who gave bed to the Lord

Jesus Christ. Mary. She was an ordinary girl. She was a humble

girl. Do you understand she was ordinary and humble. Those are the type

of people that God is interested in. Because God setches through the earth.

He looks through the earth looking for the humble ones that he can bring his

papers to bear in their lives. Amen. So please humble yourself so God

can lift you. Please tell your neighbor humble yourself so God can lift you

up. Amen. The mind of Christ resolved in honor. The mind of

Christ results in honor. And so with just your humble self, God will

begin to honor you when you least expected. Amen. So how can we

have the mind of Christ? How can we have the mind of Christ?

How can we have the mind of Christ? Number one? Let's look at

Matthew Chapter eleven West twenty nine. Matthey, chapter eleven West twenty nine.

Take my yoke, Let's do the NLT. Take my yoke upon you.

Let me teach you because I am humble and I'm gentle at heart, and

you will find rest for your souls. Let me teach you. This is

Jesus speaking. Says that let me teach you the way to walk or to

have the mind of Christ, so as let me teach you because I am

humble and gentle at heart. When you are a student, in order to

be able to receive instruction and to receive it well to the point that when

you are examined on it you can pass, it's for you to humble yourself

so that your teacher can teach you. An when you think you know more

than your teacher, there is a greater percentage that you be a bomber,

that you bomb your exams. Do you understand it doesn't matter how old you

are. When a professor who is a small boy comes to stand in front

of you, you need to forget how old you are, because what is

in this the guy's small head? You die. Your head is big time

stray. You don't have it, deside, So you need to humble yourself

to receive a man, but to be able to have the mind of Christ,

Jesus says, I let me teach you because I'm humble and I'm gentle.

A hurt. Amen, you won't be that arrogance boy or girl in

that neighborhood that everybody knows you both telling me that we do. If he

a rumble, you are beating everybody in the neighborhood, Jesus said, what,

I am humble and I'm gentle. You are not a quarrelsome girl.

Every everybody in that has heard your voice shouting above and sating decibel. Jesus

says, what, I'm humble and I'm gentle a hurt. So in order

to have the mind of Christ, we need to learn from Christ Jesus,

Amen. In order to have his attitude, we need to learn from Christ

Jesus himself. Amen. And so the scripture says that take my yoke upon

you, let me teach you, because I am humble and I'm gentle and

herd, and you find rest for yourself verse thirty. For my yoke it's

easy to bear, and my burden that I give you is light. He

says that the yoke of being humble and being gentle is easy to bear,

and the weight of it is light as compared to being proud, as compared

to doing your own thing, as compared to go in your own way.

And then let's look at John chapter thirteen, verse five. So Jesus said,

let me teach you. So want to know what Jesus will be teaching

us. John chapter thirteen, verse five John chapter thirteen, verst. Five,

John thirteen, vers. Fifteen A very pardon John thirteen fifteen. He

says, I have given you an example to follow. Jesus has given us

what. Oh talk to me. Jesus has given us what. Jesus has

given us what an example to follow? He says, do as I have

done to you? Verse sixteen. I tell you the truth, slaves are

not greater than their masters. So he's talking about himself and us. He

says, I've given you an example. Do as I have done. He

says you, you can't be greater than me. So learn, humble yourself,

and learn and do as I have done. Amen. And so the

Bible says in First John chapter two, past five to six. First John

chapter two, vers. Five to six. First John two five to six.

It's just that, but those who obey God's word truly show how completely

they love God. How many of you love God? Yet you are confident

you love God. Some people their hands are down because Charlie, they don't

love no God. Amen. Your confident you love God. The test that

you love God is when you obey God's word. Amen. Even you coments

that here you cry, Oh, I love you Jesus. And you don't

obey God's word, you're not obedient to God. God doesn't even see your

your crocodile tears, I fact, your mosquito tears. He doesn't see it.

The proof of your love for God is when you obey God. Amen.

And so the other characteristic of the mind of Christ is that the mind

of Christ is obedient to the word of God. The mind of Christ is

obedient to the voice of God. Let me tell you a secret, a

secret for prosperity in the Kingdom of God. Prosperity is a byproduct of obedience

in the Kingdom of God Matthew sixtety three. But siki fits the Kingdom of

God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added on to you.

So prosperity is a by product. It is not the main thing. It's

a by product in the Kingdom of God. And when you hear the voice

of God and you obey, you are guaranteed a hundredfold blessing. One hundredfold

blessing, do you understand. So if you hear the voice of God and

God says that give me an offering of fifty cities, and you obey,

the outcome of it is that not too long after that you will miraculously suddenly

come into the possession, the possession of five thousand cities. That's one hundred

fold Jhanasan. So if you want to prosper in the Kingdom of God,

you need to be obedient to every word of God that comes out of his

word and out of his mouth. Amen. Isaac was in a land where

there was farming, that was farming. There was no rain, but God

said, don't go to Egypt. So in this land he obeyed and he

sold. So let's say, for instance, if he had one one which

called a sack of corn that he sought, he had one hundred fold of

it. So just imagine if there were five hundred thousand corn corn, you

know, single, single, single, five hundred thousand inside, and he

sold all of it one hundred want apply the five hundred thousand by a hundred

we are the mathematicians. Someone will say that you are getting plenty. And

he became very rich and very wealthy, even in famine. Amen. So

your obedience to God is what will guarantee your blessing as the child of God.

So if you claim to love God, then the test of your love

for God is your obedience to Him. Let's look at the next verse.

Starty form. Well, let's go back to first John to five and six.

First John to five and six. Those who say they live in God

should live their lives as Christ Jesus did. So the way to have the

mind of Christ. Live your life in God as Christ Jesus did. Amen.

Live your life. Please preach your neighbor with me. Live your life

in God as Christ Jesus did. Amen. And how did Christ Jesus do

it? First John one five, First John one five. This is the

message we heard from Christ Jesus. And now we declare to you God is

light and there is no darkness in him. Verse six. So we are

lying if we say we have fellowship with God, but go on living in

spiritual darkness, we are not practicing truth. As seven. But if we

are living in the light as God is in the lights, then we have

fellowship with one another in the blood of Jesus cleses Us. Amen. So

to have the mind of Christ is to have the attitude of Christ. And

Christ Jesus had fellowship with the brethren. Amen. And so having fellowship with

the brethren is what shows that you are walking in the mind of Christ or

in the attitude of Christ. Amen, shout outs to all our members who

when we break into smaller groups and they'll pass there, they'll turn to be

govern as a spider man and they'll pass it. And then they're passing and

they're going, and you don't. They don't want to be part of no

NATO. You are. It's a clear sign that you are not in light.

You are in darkness. There is no lights, there's no truth in

you. So you don't like to fellowship because fellowshiping is what will guarantee and

show that, yes you are. You have the mind of Christ. And

you see, one benefit of fellowshipping is that God forgives you sins that you

are not even aware of. You get automatics forgiveness of sins. Fellowship you

get automatic forgiveness of sins. So maybe you're want to do some shake it

thing be gradually you are from to say Lord, please forgive me. And

Satan has recorded it. He's waiting for the next general meeting in heaven.

And when the sacred comments I did this, and that's so God, don't

bless him. In fact, let him suffer. Satan is waiting by seeing,

by fellowship and the blood of Jesus that speaks better things forgives all your

sins. And now say that doesn't have any proof against you anymore because the

Blood of Jesus has canceled it. Amen. So one proof that you have

the mind of Christ is that you fellowship with one another. Can I hear

an? Amen? Please tell your neighbor fellowship, and please tell them the

past. That is not talking about taking the ladies number and calling her at

three a m. And say, oh baby, please, I can't sleep.

My brain, my mind is doing me. Who no, no,

no, not that type of fellowship. God Live fellowship, Amen, not

saying that, oh girl, when you're working on was checking you out let's

file? No no no, no, no no no, not that type

of If anybody calls you will come and tell me. I'll put your picture

here for you and will clap for him. Amen. Yes, they're proper

type of fellowship, Amen, where you are genuinely showing love to one another

as children of God. Amen. And so let's look at how we can

walk in the mind of Christ. How we can walk in the mind of

Christ. I have more a song today. HI brought myself. Yeah,

your sir, How we can walk in the mind of Christ. Number one,

walk as he walked in obedience to the Father. Walk as Jesus walked

in obedience to the Father. First joint of the two verse six. First

joint of the two verse six. Those who say they live in God should

live their lives as Jesus did. If you claim to be a Christian,

then you need to live like Jesus lived. Amen. You can't say you

are a Christian and your body count is rising like temperature. You cannot say

you are a Christian and you are an example of what hatred means. When

someone is looking for the definition of hatred, don't say, oh, look

at that girl, She's the definition of hatred. You can't say you're a

childhod God. The Bible says to walk in the mind of Christ. Live

like how Jesus lived. Amen. Please preach your neighbor live like how Jesus

lived. Amen. Number two, Love the brethren, Love the brethren.

We are not talking about romantic love. Where you say, oh girl,

your eyes, Charlie, your eyes. When I see your eyes, I'm

lost in the sea. We are not talking about romantic love. Amen.

to walk in the mind of Christ is that guard yourself from sin. Guard

yourself from sin. The first joint of the three verse six, guard yourself

from sin. Anyone who continues to live in Him will not sin. But

anyone who keeps on sinning does not know Him and does not understand who he

is. Amen. There is a place in God where you cannot sin.

When I was growing in the things of God, a friend of mine who

was far advancing the things I well, said, Oh, there is a

place in God where you cannot sing? And I was like, abus are

cannot sin, because at that place you know who God is. Amen.

And if you want to, if you choose to sin, then it's because

you have chosen to sin. But there is a place in God where it
