It's good to have you all in church. Hallelujah. You're all welcome.
-
Let's go out of our seat. Welcome someone in the name of Jesus.
-
Let's say hello to someone, Smile to someone. It's good to see you
-
in church. It's good to see you. Just please, let's move out
-
of our seat. Hallelujah. Okay, please, let's be seated in the
-
presence of God. Amen. A man okay, on behalf of our Papa.
-
They had to be shopping. Nicolas Duncan Williams and our shepherd, Reverend
-
Ron. We invite you to today's second service. It's good to see you
-
all in church. Amen. Okay. Do we have any testimonies? Do
-
we have any testimony in the house. Hallelujah. Please welcome them with the
-
club. Amen. Okay, let's have them share. Hi. My name
-
is Anna and I just want to thank God for adding one year to my
-
life. Okay. My name is Semacole and this week actually I witnessed three
-
accidents. I was almost involved in one which was on Friday, but by
-
the grace of God, I was fine. And on Monday I was almost
-
late for class. And then if you're late for class, my lecture will
-
let you in class. And then we had a like a very composing course.
-
It was criminal law. So like if you miss class, you don't
-
understand anything. So like, by the grace of God, when I go
-
to school, my lecture was now coming, so I made it class.
-
Amen. We thank God for deliverance, and we thank God for adding one
-
more year to our sisters. And let's straight forward our and towards them,
-
and let's pray for them and let's seal their testimonies in the blood of Jesus
-
that they will come back with multiple testimonies. Next week. You will also
-
come and testify. Thank you Jesus. Amen, God bless you. Okay,
-
so it's now time for the Word. Let's be on our feet,
-
let's close our eyes. The Word is coming. Pray to God that may
-
your heart be open to accept the Word. May He opened the eyes of
-
the ears of your heart. In the name of Jesus, as we invite
-
our shepherd, Reverend Ron to give us the word. Amen, Praise the
-
Lord or are the children of God in church? This morning? I said,
-
Praise the Lord hallelujah. Amen on behalf of our Father and the Lord.
-
The archbishop Nicholas and Co Williams. This morning, you are all welcome
-
to church. Amen. Can you please look at your neighbor and tell them
-
it's good to see you this morning. Amen. Please tell your neighbor you
-
can't talk without moving your lips. You have to move your lips. Amen.
-
Tell your neighbor one more time, it's really good to see you this
-
morning. Amen, and tell your neighbor thank God for your testimony, that
-
you are alive and well, that you have a sound mind. Amen.
-
Amen, let's do our anthem as we gather a sweet gathering me or spirit
-
dwell within us that sweet gther li No, well, well that sorrow speaking
-
to that will be blessed because we can will be bless because we I'll be
-
blessed because I can't. Because let's single the stepfast love of the Lord.
-
Let's say pastler all the Lord ever see says, it's mercy, never come
-
to an end. There you, every morning, day you, every morning
-
wain is your faithfulness, rain is your faith coolness. One more time,
-
can you lift your voice and say, there you every more you, every
-
morn heat it is your faithful mess all one, Lord, as father and
-
our God. This morning we have come bearing thanks for how far you've brought
-
us. We have come with thanksgiving overflowing from our hearts as a sacrifice to
-
you for loving us with an everlasting love, and for gathering us together by
-
your great tender messies. We pray that concerning your word to us perfect everything
-
you have studied in us, and as you have thought concerning us, let
-
it be so. And as you have what's concerning us, Let that alone
-
stand that all glory and all praise will be to your name, and that
-
you will find expression in us. As we offer our hearts to you,
-
as we offer our lives to you, a reasonable service wholly unacceptable to you
-
in Jesus' precious name, Let a believe us say and amen? And can
-
somebody clap your hands for Jesus. Amen? Has God been good to anybody
-
here? Or if God has been good to you, just give the Lord
-
a wave? Amen. Can you add a thank you Jesus to it while
-
you're waving to God? Amen, So say thank you Jesus for being good
-
to me. Can you add a wave and say it? Amen? So
-
please be seated in the presence of the Lord. Amen. Shepherd Jason,
-
please help me with my sound a little bit. Amen. Praise the Lord.
-
Oh have you eaten this morning? No man shall not live vibread alone,
-
Amen, but by every word that comes out from the mouth of God.
-
So I said, Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Amen. Is a
-
joy to be in church again, Amen, because we are going to be
-
blessed with the word of God. Hallelujah. Amen. If today's the very
-
first time you're worshiping with us, we would like to acknowledge you and would
-
like to welcome you. So, if today is the very first time you
-
are worshiping with us, this is action Chapel International. This is the youth
-
Church. If you don't mind, and you can't stand on your feet,
-
stand on your feet unless welcome you with a big youth in action Welcome Amen,
-
Oh hallelujah. Amen. Are you happy there in church? Can you
-
clap your hands and welcome them again? Amen? And so this is actually
-
Chapel International. This is the youth Church. We have two services every Sunday,
-
Fast services at seven o'clock and that is the second service which starts at
-
ten o'clock. Amen. So on behalf of our father, the Archbishop Nicholas
-
Duncan Williams. I want to welcome you to church this morning. Amen.
-
How many of you are just visiting us? Just give me a wave if
-
you are visiting us. If you're visiting us, Amen, Okay, So
-
then it means that since your hands are not lifted, it means you have
-
come to worship with us. Is that correct? Wonderful? Wonderful? The
-
Bible says that, and God added to the church daily. Amen. And
-
so your being here is not an accident. Amen. God has purposed for
-
you to be here today. Amen. And whatever blessing God has prepared for
-
you, My prayer is that you only live here the same as you can.
-
Amen. So you're welcome to church again. Please be seated in the
-
presence of the Lord. Hallelujah. H Are you excited there? Here?
-
Are you excited? God is adding to our numbers? Amen? Well,
-
bless a lot for that. Amen. In the past few weeks I've been
-
teaching on the mind, the mind. Let's look at Romance Chapter twelve is
-
one and two. Have been teaching on the mind and the importance of the
-
mind to a believer, in that your mind is an asset that is very
-
dear to you as a child of God, and that if you don't save
-
God your mind, Satan can have hold of your mind and begin to control
-
you through the thoughts that he projects in your mind. And so in the
-
past few weeks we've learnt about how to secure your mind as a child of
-
God, in that if you secure your mind, then you will have a
-
sound mind. A sound mind is a mind that God can influence a man
-
to fulfill his purpose and his will, and a sound mind will bring you
-
to success. But if you don't save God your mind and your thoughts,
-
then you will begin to develop what we call a canal mind. A can
-
of mind is an enemy of God. A can of mind cannot receive from
-
God. A can of mind is rebellious against God. And you begin to
-
develop symptoms of an anxious mind, which is fueled by fear. And so
-
you will live in perpetual fear. When you hear a chicken making noise behind
-
your window, you will sleep again. When you are going out, you
-
are always afraid something will happen to you. You will live in perpetual fear.
-
And if you don't renew your mind, it can leave you to a
-
place of having a reprobate mind or a debased mind, and a debased mind
-
or a reprobate mind is so far away from God that the person who has
-
a reprobate mind has their mind darkened. There is darkness, complete darkness,
-
in the mind and in the heart of that person. And the end of
-
that is that you end up in destruction. Amen. Because Satan, according
-
to Joint Chapter ten West ten, comes to steal, to kill, and
-
to destroy. If you allow Satan to have control over your mind, your
-
end result will be that of destruction. Amen. But God expects you to
-
have a sound mind, because that is what He has giving to us.
-
Amen. And so our foundation scripture for the past few weeks has been romance
-
of the twelve is one and two. And the Bible says that I besiege
-
the brethren. Therefore, by the message of God, that you present your
-
bodies and living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service
-
to God? Amen? And I explain what reasonable service is in that Christ
-
Jesus has died on the cross for us. He has gone through the process
-
of offering to God the ultimate sacrifice by the shedding of his blood, so
-
that the demand for justice that comes with the wages of sin is death has
-
now been eternally paid for. And so now you and I have become the
-
righteousness of God. And God has now given us the benefits of salvation,
-
which includes eternal life, the gift of forgiveness of sin, the gift of
-
justification. He has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit, sanctification.
-
And so how we can say thank you to God is by offering ourselves as
-
a living sacrifice to Him, which is holy unacceptable. Amen to him.
-
Can I hear an Amen? If you understand what I'm saying A man,
-
Let's weaves two and the writer is saying that do not conform to this world,
-
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may be
-
able to prove that which is the good will of God, the acceptable will
-
of God, and the perfect will of God. Amen. To know what
-
the perfect will of God is for your life. To know what the good
-
will of God is for your life, to know what the acceptable will of
-
God for your life is, requires that we renew our minds. Amen.
-
So, because Jesus has saved us, God has made us his righteousness.
-
We are now the righteousness of God. And so now as children of God,
-
who call ourselves believers and disciples of the Lord Jesus. We need to
-
walk in holiness towards God and that requires us to renew our mind, to
-
renew our mind, to change our minds from the old way of thinking to
-
the new way of thinking, so that God can influence our mind, so
-
that God can lead us on the paths of righteousness that will bring us to
-
the place of great success. Amen. How many of you want to succeed
-
in this life? It is your goal to succeed in this life. Amen.
-
And so today I'm going to speak to you on secrets to success,
-
Secrets to success by the process of renewing of your mind. Okay, secrets
-
to success and we are going to start our journey is a series I'm going
-
to treat this month on the secrets of success. So we look at biblical
-
characters who were successful because they had a transformed mind, they had a renewed
-
mind, and because they were influenced greatly by God and by the word of
-
God. Amen. And so if you are a little bit observant, you
-
will notice many examples of people who are successful. Amen. How many of
-
you know anyone who is successful? You've heard of anyone who is successful.
-
Amen. There are lots of people who are successful. Well. Success can
-
come from two ways. It can either come from God or from the devil.
-
Three ways, either from God, from the devil, or by your
-
own strength to understand so you can succeed your own strength. Success can come
-
from the devil. Have you seen the four to nine boys who drive the
-
messites benz in town? They are considered to be successful. They've sold their
-
soul to the devil. And the result of it is that saytown will give
-
them a messites Benz and give them a little money to rent a nice apartment
-
air condition, and they will be there fooling around with girls. And there
-
is another success that can come from God. Amen. And the Bible says
-
that the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it.
-
So when you receive the success that comes from God, there is a blessing
-
with it, and there is no sadness or sorrow with it. Amen.
-
And so you would see that there are many other biblical people in the Word
-
of God who have been successful, and as children of God and believers,
-
it is in our interest to learn from them and to live by their example.
-
So that we can also be successful. Amen. So someone may ask
-
why should a believer be successful? Why should a non believer be successful since
-
they don't believe in God. So you say that, oh, they're not
-
Christians, why should they be successful? Success comes by following principles, all
-
right, As you grow you get to know success comes by following principles.
-
So if you want to be successful, you just need to follow the principles
-
of those who are successful now and eventually you arrive at success. Amen.
-
If you want to follow the four nine Boys to be successful, there are
-
principles they follow. If you go to them, they'll teach you. If
-
you follow it, you end up. If you want to be successful as
-
a child of God, the God kind of way of being successful, there
-
are principles in the world of God that can potentially lead you to that success.
-
Amen. And so it's time to study about these biblical characters and to
-
learn from their ways. Amen. And so just a few points before I
-
go into my message for today. If you don't mind and you want to
-
write these down, you can just write them down quickly. Amen. The
-
first one is that there are no fast roads to success. There is no
-
fast road to success. Success takes time. Success takes process. Success takes
-
applying yourself to principles in order to achieve success in life. Amen. And
-
so if you see that somebody has built a house, somebody has bought a
-
ninscar, somebody is living, Okay, they just didn't happen overnight. It's
-
taking time and process to get them there, all right. So that's the
-
first point. Success takes time. Success takes process. And there is no
-
fast road to success. Everything that God has created that is good takes time.
-
Amen. There is no fast food with God. Everything that God has
-
created which is good takes time. Amen. Number two, success means prosperity.
-
Success means prosperity. The biblical success means prosperity because to be successful according
-
to God comes with prosperity. Amen. When you consider yourself to be blessed
-
of God according to the Word of God, the blessings of the Lord makes
-
rich and adds no sorrow to it. Amen. So then it means that
-
if you are praying to God, instead of asking God to make you rich,
-
ask God to bless you. When God blesses you, riches will come.
-
Amen. Riches will come and there will be no sorrow to it.
-
Karahi a Amen, wonderful Amen. So now let's go straight into our listen
-
for today focusing on Okay, let me give you one point one more points
-
and then we'll go straight into looking at Abraham. Number. So what number
-
is it? Number three? Yes, follow after success. If you want
-
to succeed, follow successful people. If you want to succeed, follow after
-
successful people. And so even for me, as your pastor, I have
-
had to learn from successful past this in order to be able to teach you
-
and to preach to you properly, and to pastor you properly. Do you
-
understand, yes, So if you want to be successful, learn from successful
-
people. Follow successful people so you can also get to where they are and
-
finally, choose God's way of success or choose God's way for success. Choose
-
God's way for success. The thing is that Satan can give you success,
-
but it will come at a cost. Satan will require your soul and you
-
will enjoy all the success in this life, but you will be short lived
-
and then you demand your soul back. I hope you understand. When you
-
go to Satan and he he, he takes your soul, you trade in
-
your soul for success. Every year you have to send a soul to him
-
to keep you alive. The year you don't get a soul to take to
-
him, he will require a soul and you are dead. Amen. So
-
choose God's way Amen. And so it's time for you to succeed in life.
-
But we can succeed in life by choosing God's way. Amen. Or
-
can I hear an? Amen? So it's time also to follow after people
-
who have successfully inherited the promises of God. Let's look at Hebrews Chapter twelve,
-
Verse eleven. Hebrews Chapter twelve, vers. Eleven give me the NLT.
-
No. Discipline is enjoyable. While it is happening, it is painful,
-
But afterward there will be peaceful harvests of right living for those who are
-
trained in this way. Amen. Success the God kind of way comes with
-
discipline. Success comes with discipline. And so for you to be successful the
-
God kind of way requires you to learn how to be disciplined. Amen.
-
You should know when to get up from bed and pray. You should know
-
when to read your bible. To study your Bible. You should know when
-
to do your quiet time. You should know when to meditate on God's word.
-
Amen. I've gotten reports that many of you have stopped doing your quiet
-
time? How many of you did your quiet time today or this week?
-
Give the Lord a wave and shame the devil. Amen. Please look to
-
your left and rights your neighbor who hasn't lefted so ask them you craw was
-
wrong with you? Why an't you doing your quiet time? Please ask your
-
neighbor do you have a Bible? What did they say? Yes, some
-
people are talking without moving their lips. I don't know how that is possible.
-
Please ask your neighbor do you have a bible? What it is?
-
He? Yes, they're not show or no answer. You have to do
-
your quiet time. Every child of God should own a bible. Amen.
-
Every child of God should own a bible because the word of God is what
-
has the ability to change your life. The word of God is what has
-
the ability to transform your life. Amen. So if you have a phone
-
and you don't have a Bible, I don't know what is wrong with you?
-
Do you understand and your phone is not a holy Bible? We all
-
know the things you've been doing on your phone, don't we? We know
-
there is a boy who comes to change here. He has been sacked from
-
school. You know why because he went to school, and why his teacher
-
was preaching I was watching pornography and one day sacked him. He told them
-
that his past said he should read songs of Solomon. So he has a
-
canal mind and is going to transform gradually transform to be a reprobate mind.
-
And you will bring a case on himself. When have I told you to
-
read songs of Solomon before? I'm looking for him to give him a knock
-
so that his brain resets. Amen. So, discipline is one way in
-
which we can attain success. Amen. Discipline is one way we can attain
-
success. And success in the kingdom is linked to the word of God.
-
The more of the Word of God you have in your hearts, the easier
-
it is for God to bring you to the path that will lead to success.
-
Can I hear an Amen? So, now let's look at Abraham,
-
the story of Abraham and how it is that he came he became successful.
-
How many of you have heard of Abraham before. I'm not talking about your
-
classmates who is called Abraham. I'm talking about Father Abraham, who is in
-
the Bible. Amen. So there was a great man in the Bible called
-
Father Abraham. Amen. And so let's look at Genesis chapter thirteen, versus
-
one and two. Genesis thirteen, verse one and two. Is he he?
-
You don't know about Abraham because you don't read your Bible. And if
-
you know anything in the Word of God and you pay attention, you realize
-
that his name wasn't Abraham before his name was Abrahm. His name was Abrahm,
-
but God changed his name later on to Abraham. Do you understand?
-
And you realize that as you are on the path of righteousness that leads to
-
success for many people, God would change your name. Do you understand God
-
would change your name. When I was thirteen years old, getting on fourteen
-
years old, God changed my first name. My name wasn't Ron when I
-
was born or my birth certificates it says Radna too. That's my Italian name.
-
Do you understand? And he means rebirth, rebirth, reincarnation. But
-
God changed my name to Ron, which means a wise ruler Jonathan. Yes,
-
he changed my name to someone who rules with counsel or wisdom. So
-
on the paths of success that God will set you on, very often he
-
will change your name and so Abram was married, he didn't have children,
-
jonastand and so the Bible says that an Abram went from Egypt, and he
-
and his wife and all that he had and lot with him to the south.
-
Next verse. Abram was very rich. He was successful. Amen.
-
He was what successful? And that is where God wants to take all of
-
us to. Amen. Who is with me? Who wants to be successful?
-
Amen? And so when God changed his name to Abraham, it was
-
because of a promise God made to him when he called him first. He
-
said, I will make you a blessing, and I will make you a
-
father of many nations. And so he changed his name to Abraham, which
-
means father of many nations. And because God is not a liar like some
-
of you, everything God says, he makes it come to pass. So
-
Abraham became a father of many nations. Amen. I see God changing your
-
name. Oh, yes, I see God giving you a name that is
-
linked to your destiny and the fulfillment of all that He has purpose concern in
-
your life. Amen. But you need to be yielded with a renewed mind
-
to walk in what God said. Amen. And he said, when God
-
was changing my name, he didn't tell anybody to come and tell me tally,
-
I've changed your name. I started listening to a certain amount of God.
-
He's a musician, Ron Connolly, and I used to like a song.
-
You are the solid rock, con wareestern, you are the Christ the
-
raison. I used to soak his songs. Jo understand. I used to
-
soak his songs. And then one day I was just there looking at me.
-
I said, I said, no, this name Charlie. And I
-
said to everybody in the house I did, and I said, public announcement
-
for your for your information from today. If you call me by that name,
-
I answer, my name is Ron. And then I went to the
-
school administration. I said, I've changed my name. Please cancel the sample
-
this one day and from that day I saw a difference in my life.
-
Amen. They are certain people. When they want to make a certain kind
-
of important decision, they come to me. Amen. I've helped many people
-
get married. Oh yes, oh yes, there is even one wedding I'm
-
supposed to go for in March. He's getting married by the wisdom of God.
-
Do you understand? Yes, So God would change your name to conform
-
to what he wants to do. In your life. Amen. So Abraham
-
was a person who knew God. Please ask your neighbor do you know God?
-
Amen? In order for you to be successful the Christian way, you
-
need to know God. Amen. So he knew God. God spoke to
-
him on countless occasions. And it's not just enough being a Christian being called
-
a Christian. You need to have a relationship with God so that God can
-
speak to you. God can influence your mind so that as a child of
-
God. Like God said of Abraham that Abraham is my friend, you're saying
-
I am a friend of God. Are you truly a friend of God?
-
Are you? Amen? You need to get to that point of having a
-
relationship with God. Amen. Abraham also fought and won many battles in his
-
lifetime. Abraham fought many battles in his lifetime, and life in itself is
-
a battle. Amen. The reason why many of you don't have testimonies is
-
that you are not winning the battles. When you start overcoming and winning the
-
battles, when we say testimony time, this whole place, everybody you come
-
in scual, I have a testimony. You are not winning, and so
-
you don't have a testimony. But if you begin to walk with God,
-
you will begin to have a testimony. Can I hear an Amen? Amen?
-
And Abraham died at a good old age, having seen the message of
-
God throughout his whole life. He didn't die at a young age. He
-
died at a good old age. And the Bible says that even when he
-
was old, his strength as an old man was equal to his strength when
-
he was a young man. So the Bible says us his days, so
-
his strength was so the older he grew, the stronger he became. However,
-
you understand, and those things come as a benefit from walking with God.
-
Amen. So now we want to look at the principle or the secrets
-
of Abraham and why he became successful and how he became successful. So today
-
I just touched on one point and that will build it up in the coming
-
week. Amen. And the number one point or principle for Abraham's success is
-
that Abraham was obedient to God. Abraham was obedient to God. We've been
-
learning about sacrifices. The Bible says that obedience is better than sacrifice Jonasand so
-
you now know how to offer spiritual sacrifices to God. But we are adding
-
more to it. We are adding another precept to it, which is obedience.
-
That the Bible says that being obedience to God is even better than the
-
sacrifice you are offering to God. Amen. And so Abraham was obedient to
-
God. Let's look at Genesis Chapter twelve is one and two. Genesis twelve
-
one and two, and this was the beginning. This was the first time
-
Abraham's name was head, and the first time his name was head. God
-
was giving him an instruction. And so the Bible says, and the Lord
-
said to Abrahm, get out of your country, from your family, and
-
from your father's house, to the land that I will show you best.
-
Two and I will make you a great nation. So you see, when
-
you see the patterns that God operates with, when God gives you an instruction,
-
there is usually a promise to it. So he says that leave.
-
When you leave, I will make you a great nation. I will bless
-
you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. Verst.
-
Three. I will bless those who bless you. So you see,
-
there is a kind of blessing that when you walk in right, they attracts
-
blessing for others. So when people see you, and they say, Oh,
-
God, bless you. God said that when they say, God,
-
bless you, I will bless them. In the same way, when those
-
who don't like you kiss you, they'll be smiling with you. By in
-
their hearts they are kissing you. God has seen them. He said that,
-
because I've seen them, I will cass them for you. Do you
-
get it? And he says, and in you, all the families of
-
the earth shall be blessed. In you, all the families of the earth
-
shall be blessed. And so because of the obedience of Abraham, the families
-
of the earth, which God is referring to Christians or the people of God,
-
who came out from Abraham, because Abraham had who, Yes, who
-
was Abraham's son Isaac. Abraham had Isaac. Isaac had who Jacob and Isel
-
a man isso had sons. There are those people at the other side.
-
And Jacob had how many sons? Twelve sons who became what the twelve tribes
-
of Israel. So we see out of one man, the families of the
-
earth were firmed. And Jesus Christ came out from one of the tribes of
-
Israel, the tribe of Word Judah and out of Jesus Christ. All of
-
us now have been adopted into the lineage of Abraham. Do you get it?
-
So now we are all beneficiaries of the blessings of Abraham. So when
-
we are singing Abraham's blessings, am i, Abraham's blessings am ine, we
-
are not lying. We can tap into the blessings of Abraham. Do you
-
get it? Yes? And so by Abraham or paying the voice of God,
-
he came to a place where he was called a father of many nations.
-
Amen. So the lessons to learn is that obedience leads to success.
-
Obedience leads to success. Can we say together? Can we say it again?
-
Amen? And what is obedience? Somebody look at the dictionary rendering or
-
what obediences? And as a child of God, you should be obedient to
-
every word of instruction. Amen, it should be obedience to every word of
-
instruction. The voice of instruction can be your parents, because they are the
-
ones God has given you too, your teachers, right, our brothers from
-
Ati your teachers. He teaches a voice of instruction because they are teaching you
-
electrical engineering engineer. They're teaching you the important knowledge to you. So their
-
voice of instruction? Do you understand your pastor is a voice of instruction because
-
as far as pastoral care is concerned, God has committed your soul to your
-
pastor to watch over you. So your pasta is like an angel. God
-
has set over you to watch over you. Do you understand? That is
-
when Harrison was dying, and it was on his bed I Wednesday, and
-
when I prayed for him, he woke up. If somebody else are going
-
to praise Charlie by now you are in six feet and do you understand?
-
So a voice of instruction instructs you on things that can lead you to a
-
better place. Amen. There's a young lady I know, a beautiful lady,
-
but she used to dress like a boy. I said to your madam,
-
you are a girl. You have to dress like a girl. You
-
can't be competing with the boys with boys hair style. Do the hairstyle that
-
girls do. Amen. And she started obeying, and very soon, you
-
know what will happened. Somebody will say, Charlie, I like this guy.
-
I want to marry her. Do you understand? And very soon she'd
-
be married. You'd be doing popping, should do wedding? Yes? So
-
when you are obedient. It brings you to the path of success. So
-
obedience is compliance with an order, a request, a law, or submission
-
to another authority. Do you understand? So, when God said to Abram,
-
leave, Abram left and that qualified him for success. Number two points
-
you need to write down. Delayed obedience is disobedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience.
-
So when you are instructed, then you say, but oh, but
-
let me do this one first. But you always have something to say,
-
and you do your mouth like a peacock and say that and not do what
-
you have been instructed to do. So delayed obedience is disobedience. Amen.
-
One thing you need to know about God is that God works in times and
-
seasons. Do you understand God works in times and in seasons and in this
-
season? It is a point or that we should be learning these things now
-
in this season, because five years from now your locations will change and you
-
will not have the opportunity to hear and learn these things. Do you get
-
it? So, if you don't apply to steady, if you don't apply
-
yourself toward steady and to hear, to listen, you miss out on the
-
information you need now for your future. Can I hear an. Amen,
-
that's why I encourage all of your notes. Take notes, write something.
-
You'll be amazed that in future you realize that, oh, I'm dealing with
-
a situation, and I heard Revereran say something like that. And you're going
-
to refer to your notes and you see the solution in there. Amen.
-
There is a saying that a short pencil is better than a long memory.
-
What a short pencil, it is better than a long memory. So take
-
notes, amen, take words. So number two point was what delayed?
-
Obedience is disobedience. And so when God told Abram that leave and go,
-
if Abram said, oh, let me stay here five years more, he
-
would have missed out on his opportunity. He would have missed out on his
-
destiny. Do you understand. And when it comes to salvation, many people
-
have missed out on their destiny because perhaps they had an altar call that Jesus
-
loves you. Jesus is knocking out the door of your heart. Come surrender
-
your life to Jesus. So Jesus come make you what he wants you to
-
be. But they would delay because they are happy in the sin. They
-
are inside the sin, and they will delay. And the time that they
-
decide to be born again, they would have wasted a lot of time.
-
Do you understand? They would have wasted so much time, and it would
-
take them to crank extra in order to get to where God wants them to
-
be. So when you hear the voice of God, you need to obey
-
pronto, all right, you need to obey. Now. The blessings of
-
the Lord are in threefold. There's one hundredfold blessing, there's a sixtyfold blessing,
-
and there's a twenty or thirty fold blessing. Right. The one hundred
-
fold blessing comes when you hear the voice of God and you instantly you are
-
qualified for one hundred fold blessing. So when you are about to do that
-
thing that God says you shouldn't do, and He fixed you and you obey,
-
you'll get a hundred fold blessing. Sixty fold blessings come when you listen
-
to your pastor and the people that God are set above you spiritually. Do
-
you understand, yes? And twenty or thirty fold blessing is when you show
-
kindness to others. When you show kindness to others. A few years back,
-
about eight or ten years ago, I was in the main service,
-
and that applied to many places for a job. You know, I wanted
-
to change jobs because where I was they weren't paying me well. And my
-
cousin came home one day. I didn't have any money, and she just
-
gave me fifty CDs. And that fifty cities is very important because that my
-
cousin, she's very stingy. She don't give you no nero. So I
-
put that was only money in my wallet. I put it in my wallet
-
a bran pie. I came to church. I had money. You see,
-
the wisdom of God is this that if you're a church person and you
-
have a car, right, you should always have fueling your car to go
-
to church. So though I didn't have money on me my car, there
-
was full inside to go to church. And for like one month. So
-
I came to church and while I was in church, I was sitting there,
-
they were preaching, and then I heard God say, I required a
-
fifty CDs from you. Meanwhile, before I came to church, I already
-
made plans when I closed. I buy comed beef, I'll buy onions,
-
I'll buy tomatos. I was single. Then I'll buy spaghetti and then I'll
-
make myself a nice meal. I usually like drinking Coca lots. I'll buy
-
Coca Cola chilled one. I'll add it to the equation. God said,
-
I need a fifty CDs. And because I know the voice of God,
-
I obeyed instantly, and I put the fifty cities in an envelope. So
-
when the past I was walking and he walked past. I was in the
-
choir then, and then I came and dropped my seat. The moment my
-
envelope hits the floor, the man stopped preaching and he turned around and he
-
came straight to me and said, yay. God said, I should tell
-
you because of your obedience, he's going to bless you. Do you understand
-
when you obey the voice of God, it attracts a hundred fold blessing.
-
Three weeks later, a company came to look for me that they want to
-
employ me. They'll give me five thousand cities a month. That was then,
-
consider I gave you Amaha much to God fifty cities. Now I was
-
going to get five thousand. Hey, I can buy all the combiff in
-
the world. I can make all the spaghetti world just for obedience. So
-
sometimes God will just ask you just live holy for me. That's all I
-
want. Just don't do what other people are doing. That is all I
-
want. That is your reasonable sacrifice to me and for the promise of God.
-
God will give you a nice husband. God will give you a nice
-
wife. You will have beautiful, lovely children. God will give you a
-
nice place to live. Do you understand when you've finished school you will not
-
be Do you know people when they finish school they have to go and sleep
-
around before they get a job. Yes, but that will not be your
-
story because by the time you finish school, the job is waiting for you.
-
You understand. Even when they say there's no vacancy, don't mind the
-
no vacancy. God can create a God has done it for me many times.
-
They will create a different office for you. Come and put you there.
-
Put their condition, Charlie, wake, you'll pay you. Do you
-
understand? So when you obey God, and you obey God's instruction, it
-
can attract for you one hundred fold blessing. Amen. And I was like
-
ten years ago. So imagine how God has blessed me. You understand,
-
Yes, imagine I've bought a land. I had plans to go and build
-
a nice house on it. God said, I required that land from you,
-
and I was like, hey, Devo, don't text me. So
-
I came to church and Papower was preaching and he said you you're at the
-
bag. God said, should give land, and you're there playing the food.
-
If you know what's good for you, better do what is needed.
-
For the next day, I brought my land papers, gave it to the
-
bishop. I gave it to the church. Do you understand? And I
-
know God is going to give me many lands. Oh? Yes, because
-
I've obeyed. I've done my part. The rest is for him. So
-
when I need land, I said God, according to that way that you
-
said, hear my cry, Oh God, and answer me speedily? Amen?
-
And God will answer. Do you understand? But please ask for you?
-
How are you listening to God's instruction? How are you obeying? Since
-
you were born up ontil now? When have you obeyed the voice of God
-
so that I can bring you to the place of success? Amen? So
-
renewing your mind and being transformed requires you to be able to obey the voice
-
of God. Can I hear an? Amen? And so you see when
-
God told Abraham that leave travel to a strange land. He didn't give him
-
the destination. He says, just go. He didn't give my destination.
-
He said, go, I will show you. And so Abraham left and
-
he obeyed the voice of God. And so we need to remember that greatness
-
is dependent on obedience to the voice of God. Greatness is dependent on our
-
obedience to the voice of God. Amen, let's all stand up just for
-
one second. Let's well stand. Let's help those who are sleeping, Yes,
-
or else. I'll take my phone and I ask Priscal to take a
-
picture of there and put them on the screen. We have not done that
-
in a long time. We should do that one of these days. Oh
-
yeah, we'll do that next week. We start next week. Amen,
-
just lift right hand to the Lord. Say, Father, help me to
-
be obedient to your voice. Say help me to be obedient to your voice,
-
the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, please be seated. Detrono me
-
Chapter twenty eight, verse one and two. The turn on me twenty eight,
-
verse one and two. The reason why we need to obedience, we
-
need to be obedience to God's voice is this says, now we shall come
-
to pass that if you diligent obey, if you word diligently obey. Talk
-
to me. If you word diligently obey, what does it mean to be
-
diligent? Please find us give us the dictionary of what diligence means. If
-
you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all
-
his commandments. Now, the commandments of God are either spoken or written.
-
When you observe carefully all his commandments, which is commanded to you today,
-
that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the
-
earth. Who wants to be set high in this life? Yes, you
-
want to be set high. The secrets to it is to obey the voice
-
of God diligently and to observe all his commandments. Amen, I can see
-
many of you, especially the young ladies. You are going to grow up
-
into very beautiful women, godly women. God is going to give you nice
-
husbands, do you understand. But until you get there, you need to
-
start to hear and to diligently harken to the voice of God. To be
-
diligent means to be constantine effort to accomplish something. To be constant, you
-
don't be like a chameleon. Today you are cod tomorrow are heart. No,
-
be constant, be hot for God constance. To accomplish something, you
-
must be attentive, and you must be persistent in doing something. So it
-
must be attentive to the voice of God. You must be persistent in following
-
the instruction of God. Do you understand you must be The day Harrison's mother
-
called me the Harrison is in the hospital, it was in the evening when
-
I got her on the phone. She'll tried calling me the whole day.
-
I think she wasn't getting me. It was in the evening, it was
-
around I was about to come from midweek service, was around six thirty and
-
from where I lived to a shaman on a regular day where there is traffic,
-
it would have taken me not less than five hours do it. But
-
I heard the voice of God said go. So when I started my I
-
put on my maps. Suddenly the road was green on the maps green,
-
no traffic green all the way. Do you understand When we got to a
-
shaman, the traffic suddenly just moved. All the cars were moving. And
-
it is not the first time God has done that for me before. Then
-
we got there, We're there for less than ten minutes and we left.
-
We came and got back to church to do midweek service. Do you get
-
it? When you obey the voice of God, God will anything in your
-
path as an obstruction. They will move away so that you move forward.
-
Amen. But it requires you to hacking to the voice of God to obey.
-
Purpose in your heart that I would obey the voice of God. When
-
you read the word of God, you do your quiet time. You see
-
something as an instruction, you purpose in your heart. I'm going to obey
-
this word. Whether it makes me popular or not, I don't want.
-
I want to obey. Listen. God will exhort you. He will set
-
you above nations. Amen. He will get you above. And God has
-
sets me on the heath of success. Very soon, you hear, not
-
too long, I'll be a bishop. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
yeah yeah. You understand. Yes, because the path God has set me
-
on it will. I will get there by all means. Do you understand.
-
And one of these days you'll be driving in town, you see a
-
big building and then you see my name on the building. Oh yes,
-
oh, yes, you see it. It will happen. But in order
-
to get there, you need to be obedient to the voice of God.
-
Can I hear an? Amen? Amen. Let's go back to the structure
-
Detronomy twenty eight Ns one and two. There's two and all these blessings shall
-
come upon you and overtake you, the blessings of God that makes rich and
-
adds no sorrows. The blessings will come upon you, and they will overtake
-
you. Overtake means that it will bypass you. In fact, it will
-
start change. The blessings will chase you first. It will chase you until
-
it gets to you. And while it's upon you, it will bypass you
-
and go ahead of you. So, then in your life you are The
-
path you are on is blessings you are looking at because you obey the voice
-
of your God. Amen. When you obey the voice of God, God's
-
blessing will come upon you. You God's blessings will overtake you. Amen.
-
So when you're saying your goodness is running enough, it is running enough to
-
me? In your mind, you're thinking your blessing is running enough, is
-
running enough? Your blessing is overtaking me? Now is overtaking me? Your
-
blessing is upon me? Now it is upon you. Will have expression because
-
it will be manifested in your life. Can I hear an amen? Amen?
-
So obedience is necessary for the blessings of God. Number three points on
-
the points I was giving you before, is that God requires your full obedience?
-
Amen? Can we say together, God requires my full obedience? Amen?
-
Not how for obedience? Not your friend saying seventy percent. God requires
-
all your obedience. Amen. God requires all your obedience. So I've spoken
-
to you about the heart before that in order to save God diligently, you
-
need to love the Lord with all your heart. You need to love the
-
Lord with all your mind. You need to love the Lord with all your
-
soul. You need to love the Lord with all your strength. God requires
-
all of you in order for his blessings to be made manifesting you. God
-
requires all of you in order for him to find expression in you. Do
-
you understand? God requires all of you? So if it's your obedience,
-
it requires all of your obedience. And when you obey him, your blessings
-
will be made manifest for all to see. Can I hear an amen?
-
Amen? And so even in Abraham's obedience to God, initially he obeyed God
-
half in half The instruction was that leave and go. So it was just
-
supposed to be him and his wife and all that he had. But he
-
carried his father, and he carried lots. How many of you have heard
-
of lots? Did you see the trouble Lord gave Abraham? He should have
-
left him there, he carried him. And guess what. For as long
-
as Abraham's father was with him and Lot was with him, God didn't speak
-
to him again. God did not speak to him again. So the lesson
-
lean is that when you hear from God, obey fully what God has not
-
said, don't do. Don't do it, only do what God has said
-
you should do. Amen. But that day Abraham's father died, and Lot
-
left Or spoke to him, and he said, now lift up your head
-
and go this way. Amen. So God requires what all of our obedience
-
in order to see His goodness in our lives. Amen. Can you please
-
stand with me on your feet and so write these final points down That disobedience
-
leads to a curse. Disobedience leads to a curse. Amen. So,
-
as a child of God, purpose in your heart not to be disobedient to
-
God. Amen. Ales in your heart not to be disobedient to the voice
-
of God. You want to just pray one prayer for yourself before I leave
-
that. Lord, I've come to you boldly to obtain mercy. Everywhere I've
-
disobeyed you, everywhere I have disobeyed you by the mercies of God. Father,
-
forgive me, forgive me, forgive me, forgive me everywhere I have
-
you, Father, please forgive me. Can you pray that prayer for yourself
-
briefly, Just open your mouth and pray the prayer for yourself. Just pray
-
that prayer for yourself. Just pray that prayer for yourself. Lord, we
-
have come to the messy seat, that messy seat on which the blood of
-
Jesus was shed. And Father, we ask for pardon. Messy Lord,
-
mercy, Lord, messy Lord, messy Lord, mersy Lord, in the
-
name of Jesus. Mercy, Lo mercy, Lo mercy, in the name
-
of Jesus, mercy in the In Jesus Mighty a Amens nineteen Romance, chapter
-
five, verse nineteen. Look at this scripture carefully. The Bible says that
-
for by one man's disobedience, many were made word sinners. By one man's
-
disobedience, many were made sinners also also by one man's word obedience, many
-
will be made righteous. So by Adam's trespass or disobedience, humanity were classified
-
to be sinners as far as God is concerned. But by the obedience of
-
Christ Jesus, we have now been made the righteousness of God. Amen.
-
Sometimes in your family there is someone that probably has died long time ago,
-
who disobeyed God in a way that you are suffering for it now. So
-
we want to pray again, And this time we are saying to God that
-
on the basis of the blood of Jesus that was shared on the cross of
-
Calvary, we've come laying hold on the messyicy of God, the Lord,
-
any iniquity, any trespass, any disobedience in my bloodline for which I've become
-
a beneficiary of the sufferings of it. That today I ask for mercy,
-
forgive me and set me apart because I've believed in you. Just open your
-
mouth briefly and pray that prayer earnestly to God. Pray that prayer to the
-
Lord by the mercies of God, by the mercies of God, by the
-
mercies of God. Whatever iniquity of the blood line, whatever trespass of the
-
blood line, whatever disobedience of the blood line, that, Oh God,
-
has brought my family into sin and into distribute, for which I've become a
-
beneficiary of the effects of that sin and iniquity. Today, Oh God,
-
by the mercies of God, we plead the blood of Jesus as we lay
-
hold to the messy seat, that this morning we come boldly before your throne
-
off grace, that we may obtain mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy,
-
mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy. Oh come, mercy, Oh Come,
-
mercy, Oh Come, in the name of Jesus, we pray with
-
thanksgiving. Amen, I said, Amen. Sometimes when I look at some
-
of your faces and I say prayer, prayer that can save your life,
-
and you are looking at me like I'm a joker, I laugh in my
-
head. Amen, you don't know how to pray. You know how to
-
pray or you pray without opening your mouth. And part of the training are
-
getting here is to learn how to pray. You watch and you learn and
-
you pray the same way. Do you understand sometimes there are things in your
-
bloodline that will follow you. They will follow you. I thought you got
-
change my name, my old name is the same name my father has,
-
and my father was a womanizer. Do you understand I have a big sister.
-
We are just four months apart from different mothers. I have siblings in
-
London from different mothers. I could have easily been a womanizer. But by
-
the messy of God, do you understand? So there are things in your
-
bloodline that potentially will fight against you, that would take you far away from
-
the will of God, that would take you far away from the purpose of
-
God, that would take you far away from the path that leads to success
-
that comes from God. Amen. So when you are present and an opportunity
-
to pray, you pray. We're going to pray one more time. Amen,
-
with your right hand lifted see Father, the mighty name of Jesus,
-
we come boldly before you're thrown off grace, that we may obtain mercy.
-
Say today, on the account of the blood of Jesus, we obtain mercy
-
from the messy seat of God. We obtain mercy from the messy seat of
-
God. We obtain mercy from every iniquity of disobedience from our blood lying in
-
the name of Jesus. And we declare the medium of the blood of the
-
lamb of God. We are now the righteousness of God in Jesus' precious name.
-
We pray with thanksgiving. Amen. Can you just close your eyes,
-
everybody, and just bow your head briefly. If you are here, you're
-
not born again. You don't know Jesus. Jesus is not lord over your
-
life. You have not committed your life to Jesus to submit your life,
-
to obey him and to obey his command. Jesus said, stand at the
-
door, and I knock. If anyone will hear my voice and open the
-
door, I will come in and dine with him. So today Jesus is
-
speaking to you. He's at the door of your heart. He wants to
-
come and live in your life. He wants to influence your life so you
-
can become everything God has purpose for you to be. If you are here,
-
you want to accept Jesus. You want to surrender your life to Jesus.
-
Please come to where I am in the front and let's say a short
-
prayer together. If you are here, you don't know Jesus. You want
-
Jesus to be lord over your life. You want to surrender your life to
-
Jesus, or you are born again. But you are not Christian. You
-
are a disobedient Christian. You don't obey the voice of God. You want
-
to surrender your life to Christ. Jesus. If you are such a person,
-
please come to me. Let's say a prayer together. If you are
-
such a person, please come to me. Let's say a prayer together.
-
Final Call. You are here. You don't know Jesus. You want to
-
surrender your life to Jesus. You want to reddicate your life to Jesus.
-
You want to begin to obey the voice of God so that God can lead
-
you on the paths of righteousness for His namesake. You want to receive Christ.
-
Jesus. Please come to me in the front wherever you are. Final
-
Call. Tomorrow may be too late, but today you have the opportunity.
-
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart and he's knocking. If you'll
-
open and for him to come in, then he can make you all that
-
God has papers for you to be. Final Call. Amen, thank you
-
for coming forward a man. Just lift your right hand to the Lord.
-
Say Lord Jesus, I thank you that you are the only one who can
-
save me, who can redeem me, who can make me like Christ.
-
Jesus, I pray, and I believe in my heart that you are the
-
Son of God that God sent to die for me. I believe that you
-
died, and on the third day you rose again. I believe that you
-
are seated at the right hand of the Father praying for me. I open
-
my heart. Please let your spirit come and live in me, and make
-
me everything that you have purpose for me to be in Jesus' mighty nay.
-
Amen, God bless you richly. Just go this way to where Shepherd Jifa
-
and Shepherd Zigar standing. Just go to them, give you some information,
-
and join us back for service. Amen, Praise the Lord. Are we
-
going to be obedient to the voice of God.
