The Secret of Believing God's word 3rd March 2024

Amen, Amen, look to your neighbor. It's a neighbor. I'm happy

to see you here this morning. Neighbor, you look beautiful, or you

look handsome, or smile as your neighbor. They're going to be sitting with

you throughout the service. You ought to be nice to them. Say hi,

neighbor, I think you look very good today. I'm happy to see

you. Say neby, You're welcome to church this morning, and you may

have yours presents. Thank you very much. Oh, I appreciate the choir

as you said. Amen. Does anybody have a testimony this morning? Anybody

with a testimony? Anybody that wants to tell the church God has done something

wonderful for me, and I want to tell you about to do we have

anybody with a testimony or don't look around, maybe it's you. Anybody with

a testimony this morning? Anyone? Oh please cople ethan anyone else wants to

join it on this morning. Anybody with the testimony? Oh wow, she

wasn't coming anyway. Anyone else with the testimony to join it on this money?

Lookye say a neighbor, So God hasn't done anything for you? What's

their answer? This that God hasn't done anything for them the neighbor. Are

you sure? What's their answer? They said yes or they didn't say anything.

Anyway, we pray that God increases us in testimony. Still as a

testament. Last week, I was feeling down and sad, but then God

spoke to you, and God spoke to me through their command your week service,

and I've been feeling blessed since. Amen. Hi, everyone so doing

the course of the week. I think on Thursday I ate something I was

not supposed to eat. I don't know it was. I think it was

contaminated, so I had so when I got home, I started feeling an

easy, restless and all these things, and I started throwing up. And

I threw up from literally from living to like two am, like just going

and coming, going and coming by. I thank God that he saved me

and he healed me. And Jesus and Man, please close your eyes and

stretch with your hands to these ones and thank God for their testimonies. Thank

Him for healing, thank Him for lifting up the spirits of somebody who felt

down. Just thank God for the goodness that He has extended to these ones.

Follow We thank you modise testimonies. We thank you for your spirit that

is alive in us and causing us to see your good works. We pray

in Jesus' name that you've increased as church in testimonies, and you continue to

bless us in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Amen, only may have your

another Sunday. It's a rainy Sunday, but this is the day the Lord

has eight. Whether rain or shine, we will rejoice and we'll be exceedingly

glad in it. Amen. Why are you excited to be in church?

you and to learn from you. Father, as your word comes, let

your people not hear my voice, but let them hear your voice, and

let them understand what you have to say to them. That they will be

impacted greatly and there will be all that you have sent them to be in

Jesus' precious Nay, let a believer us say and a man Amen, And

just look at your neighbor one more time, and tell your neighbor it's really

good to see you in church this morning. Please tell you other neighbors really

really good to see you in church this morning. Amen. Please ask your

neighbor, how can you talk without moving your limbs? Amen? Please be

see that in the presence of the Lord hallelujah. I hope we are all

doing well. Amen. Who is not well? Who is not okay?

Here? Give the Lord away. Let's pray for you. We all pray

for you so that you are well. Anybody I don't see any hand,

it means we are all well. Can we celebrate Jesus for that. Amen.

He's worthy of our praise. Let's celebrate him properly. Celebrate the Lord

with a hand clap or clap your hands or yet, people, can you

add a shout to your praise and shout to God with a voice of triumph.

Amen. He's worthy of your praise. Amen. So we thank God

for bringing us together again. Last week, by God's grace, I started

a new series on success secrets. Success Secrets, and last week I was

telling you about the secret of obeying God, success that comes by obeying God.

Amen. And we looked at Abraham as our Bible character who is classified

to be very successful. He was successful in his days because he chose to

obey God. Amen. And we saw the path that God took him on

in that God called him out of his people, out of his kindred,

out of his family, away from his friends, his loved ones, and

said leave and go to a place that I will show you. And because

Abraham obeyed, God changed his name and gave him a new name. And

God brought to bear of all that he had said regarding the promises that he

had promised him. Amen. And so God is interested in you also being

on a path that leads to success. Amen. But in order to get

there, we need to follow those who have already chatted the path. And

so one way to be successful in life is to learn to obey God.

Amen. To learn to obey the voice of God, to learn to obey

the instruction of God, to learn to obey the dictates of God. To

learn to obey the word of God. Amen. And so today I'm going

to give you the next secret to success, which is the secret of believing

God's word. The secret of believing God's word. Amen. There is a

saying that if a crocodile or if a frog comes from this from the river

to tell you that the crocodile is dead, you have to believe it because

you you can't go under the river a crocodile has been under. Amen.

So sometimes the words you believe have the potential to shape your life. Amen.

What you believe has potential to shape your life. There's a story I

heard about a place, a village where a missionary went on national service.

He was sent there for national service, and that was a big river,

and he went to look and he saw that the river had a lot of

fish, like big, big telapia inside. So he became very happy that

I like telapia and God has brought me to the Promised Land. But they

told him that it is a taboo to eat the fish in that river.

So the whole village nobody eats fish in that river. Nobody eats fish in

that river. So he realized that the people believe in a case that the

ancestors are placed. So because of that, because no one wanted to die,

they didn't want to eat. So he said me, I'm a child

of God. Some twenty four says that the earth is the Lord's and the

fullness. They're off the world and they that dwell therein. So this fish

belongs to God. And because I'm a child of God, I have the

right to eat this fish. So he went and he caught one big one,

and he puts pepper on it and he roasted it, and the village

people came to surround him, and he ate and the village who were waiting

for him to die. He was still there. The next day they came

to check is he did. He was still there. One week later they

were looking out to do his funeral. But guess what, he was still

there. And that changed the mindset of the whole day. Now the whole

lay said, okay, we'll eat. Since he didn't die, we will

also eat. Do you understand? So what you believe in can affect your

life, It can chart the path of your life. It can determine the

outcome of your life. Can I hear an amen? Or can you say

a better amen? Amen? Who can I send? Okay? Please give

this to my wife for me to answer for me. Okay, thank you

very much. Amen. So today we are learning about the secret of believing

God's were Genesis chapter fifteen, verse six. Genesis chapter fifteen, verse six,

and Genesis is still talking about Abraham, and he said he believed in

the Lord, and he accounted it to him for righteousness. Give me the

NLT or the NIV version. So we pick up a few points from here.

And Abraham believed the Lord, and the Lord counted it to him.

As righteousness because of his faith. We realized last week that Abraham's name was

not initially Abraham. His name was Abram, and because of the promise of

God, God changed his name from Abram to Abraham. And how that came

about was that Abraham believed in God. And because he believed in God,

it was counted to him for righteousness. Amen. And so the Bible teaches

us one of the most notable things about Abraham. If you hear about Father

Abraham, one thing that is notable about him is the fact that he believed

God. Understand if we talk about quamen chroma, what's the notable thing that

comes to mind? Independence? Understand when we talk about you, what's the

notable thing about you? Sorry, Charista, she's in the music ministry.

When we talk about you, what's the note? There is something notable about

you? Do you get it? Some people there notable things about them is

that they are Quarrelsome they like to fight the quarrel about everything. Some people

are complainings. Do you know people like that? They can't complain about everything

even when there's nothing wrong. But for Abraham, what was notable about him

was that he believed God. He believed every word that God said. Understand,

So that was notable about him, and in that it was countered to

him for righteousness. And because it was counter to him for righteousness, God

could relate to him on a certain level that God didn't relate to the other

people on. So if you want to be successful, you need to learn

to believe in God's word. Amen. You need to learn to word or

talk to me. You need to learn to word. Amen. He is

called a father of many nations because he believed in God. Abraham had faith

in God, and because of that God was pleased with him. God was

pleased with him. Amen. And so the secret to success this week is

the secret of believing in God's word. When you believe in God's word,

it brings you to success. Now, what is God's Word? John Chapter

one was one to four. John Chapter one was one to four. What

does the Bible say about the Word of God? The Bible says that in

the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the

Word was God. So the Word of God in the beginning was with God.

The Word of God was God. Amen. So before time began,

the Word of God was with God, and the Word of God was God.

Amen. Verse three. God created everything through him, and nothing was

created except through him. So everything that we see or that has transpired was

created by the Word of God. And so it means that the word of

God has creative ability. If you read Genesis chapter one, one and two,

it shows you how God created the world and everything that is in it.

And so the Bible is saying from John that in the beginning was the

Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Amen. In the beginning, the Bible talks about the Spirit of God,

have it over the surface of the deep. So it introduces the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning, God said, let there be and the worst,

So the Word of God was also introduced. Then God himself, God the

Father, is also introduced in the beginning. Amen. So it means that

the word of God is as important as God himself. So if you choose

to believe God's word, then the outcome of your life will only be success.

Can I hear an Amen? Compare yourself to someone you know who doesn't

believe God, and give yourself ten years from now you will be more successful

than them. Say Amen, you didn't say a better Amen? I said

compare yourself to someone who does not believe God. Ten years from now,

you will be more successful than them. Say amen. Amen. And so

if you look at the account of God's Word, you see that God's word

has power. Amen. God's word has power to create things. God's word

has power to form things. God's word has power to change things. Amen.

So the Word of God makes statesments about itself, given reason why it

will make you a better follower of Christ Jesus. So God's Word gives you

and I reasons why we can become a better version of ourselves if we believe

in God's Word. The first reason is from John to one, verse one

to fourteen, which we just started. I want you to go home and

read the rest from verse one to verse fourteen. So the Word of God,

which is the Bible or Christ Jesus, is an expression of Jesus Christ

himself in the written form. When he is illuminated by the Holy Spirit.

For us as a believer, he changes our lives. Amen. So the

word of God that is introduced in John chapter one is Christ Jesus himself.

Amen. And so in believing the Word, believing Jesus. Also because he

is the word. Second Timote, chapter three, verse sixteen. The second

reason why the Word of God will make us better versions of ourselves second Timote,

Chapter three, verse sixteen. Number two reason is that all scripture,

which is the Word of God, is given by the inspiration of God.

The Word of God is not a figment of one man's imagination. The Word

of God is not a Nanzi story. The Word of God was not concocted

and written down by somebody who had going to smoke ganja. The word of

God was giving as an inspiration by God himself. And the Word of God

is profitable. Give us a NLT bring us to modern day English. The

word of God is profitable. So all scripture is inspired by God, and

it is useful to teach us what is true. The word of God is

profitable to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong

in our lives. What will help you differentiate between good and evil is the

word of God. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us what

to do. Go back to the NIV, the NKJV, the New King

James. Yes, so it is profitable for doctrine, for reprove, for

correction, and for instruction in all righteousness. Do you see that the Word

of God has weight? The Word of God has great weight. Amen.

Number three point Hebrews chapter four, verse twelve on how the Word can change

as Hebrews Chapter for, verse twelve, and the Bible says that for the

Word of God is living and powerful. The Word of God is sharper than

any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and the

spirit. The new contemporary version says that the Word of God is sharper than

any two edged sword that has the ability to divide where the spirit and the

soul meet. It is so sharp that it can divide the spirit of man

from the soul of man. It can even divide the bone, the marrow

in the bone from the bone. That is how sharp the Word of God

is and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.

Amen. So please give us the NLT for this again. For the Word

of God is what alive. Let's read together. The word of God is

what The Word of God is what everybody say. The word of God is

what everybody say. The Word of God is what alive. It means.

The Word of God is not dead. The Word of God is worth alive,

and it's powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest to age sword,

cutting between the soul and the spirit, and between the join and the marrow.

And it exposes our anermals, thoughts and desires. Because the Word of

God is alive and is powerful, it has the ability to expose our innermost

thoughts and our desires. Can I hear an Amen? And let's look at

the fourth reason why the Word of God can change our lives. Someone one

night as one o five, Someone one nimee vers one oh five. Your

word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light to my path.

That word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

And so this tells us another dimension of the Word of God. The Word

of God is light. Amen. When you are in darkness, what is

the what is the greatest need for people who are in darkness? Light?

When you are in darkness and you can't see anything, when they give you

pizza, you can't even find it to eat, what you need is light.

So the word of God is what is light. The word of God

is a lamp to our path, is a lamp to our feet. And

a light to our path. Amen. So, for anyone who believes in

God's word, what it means simply is that God will lighten up your path

that will lead to success. For people who don't believe in God, people

who don't believe in the Word of God, they are already walking in darkness

and they cannot be led to success because there is no way when all the

lights here go off, that you'll be able to find where the door is.

Amen. So the word of God is light, Amen, and the

brighten up our path. Can I hear an Amen? Fifth reason Romance,

Chapter fifteen, verse four. Romance fifteen, verse four. Such things were

written in the scriptures long ago to teach us, and the scriptures gives us

hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled. And

so God's word gives us encouragement, especially when we endure or when endurance is

required. God's word gives us hope when endurance is required. Amen. If

you have ever been sick before, your greatest need when you are sick is

to be healed, to be made hope. Do you understand? And so

when you read the Word of God and you see how Jesus healed many people.

It gives you hope that Jesus can heal you too. Amen. It

gives you hope that your life will be better. It gives you hope that

the outcome of your life will be far more glorious than what you can see.

The Word of God gives you hope that your life can even be better

than your parents' life. J understand that your life will be as God has

predeisdestined to be because of the Word of God. So the word of God

gives us hope. Amen. And once you believe in the Word of God,

you will have hope. You will not be called hopeless. You will

never be called hopeless because you have hope. When you are going to write

exams, you will have hope that the expected outcome of your exams will be

that you pass. That is the only outcome. J understand, that is

the only outcome. My spiritual mother called me from London. Her daughter was

in labor going to give best. She called Ellie in the morning. He

said, oh, we should pray, we should pray. I said,

okay, we are praying. And then I told my wife that she said

we should pray. So we are prayed, but is he I had hope

because the expected outcome is that when a child of God goes into labor,

she should give Beth without complication. I prayed for only five minutes. I

was lying. I said, Oh, God, show her messy, let

her deliver safely. And I fell back asleep. When I woke up,

she called, She said, she has delivered. Do you understand the expected

outcome of your life is what God says it to be, and so that

should give you hope. That will not have you be fearful in life,

but you walk with hope. Do you understand? Because hope brings about faith

also, Now, faith is a substance of things hope for so the more

hope you have, the more faith you have. Amen. So determining your

heart that one secret of success that you are going to enjoy in life is

to believe in God's word. So everything you read in God's Word, believe

it. Amen, believe it, believe it. Someone will say that,

oh, but when we were writing the Bible, we're not there, so

how can we believe it? As the person that you believe in gravity If

they say no, tell them to go and stand on top of the listening

jump, They'll see what gravity is. Amen, So believe the word of

God with all your heart. Everything God's word says. Believe it. If

the word of God says that I'm the head and not the tail, believe

it. If the word of God says that I'm above or not beneath,

believe it. When anybody calls you a fool, reject it. Say I

am not a fool. Do you understand, believe what the word of God

says. Even if your parents insult you that hey, quat shabby, don't

mind them. Believe what the word of God says. Because in God's mind

you are not quase shabby. Do you understand. In God's mind, you

are not quasia. In God's mind, you are not foolish or stupid.

In God's mind, you are his beloved child. You have the spirit of

Christ in you. You don't have the spirit of fear. He's giving the

spirit of love, of power, and of a sound mind. So in

God's mind you are precious in his sight. In God's mind, you are

a spiritual priest. He is building you up into a spiritual house and making

you a spiritual priest. That you offer sacrifices to God. Can a fool

offer sacrifices to God. No. So believe what God's word says about you.

Believe it even when you are going through hard times. To believe God's

word above your present circumstance. Believe the word of God that God says he

has good thoughts for us, not evil thoughts, thoughts to bring us hope

in the future. So choose to believe. Amen. Please preach your neighbor.

Choose to believe the word. Please tell your other neighbor who is not

smiling, choose to believe the word of God. Amen. Some one verst

three, Some one verst three. The outcome of choosing to believe God's word,

which is a secret for success, is that you become like a tree

planted by the rivers of water. You are planted by a river bank,

and you bear fruits in your season, and your leaves will never weather,

and you will prosper in everything that you do. You will prosper in everything

that you do. That is a secret to success that people don't know.

Amen. When you choose to believe God's word, this is the outcome of

your life. This is what God will make of you. Amen. And

finally, let's look up Matthew Chapter four is one to eleven. Matthew Chapter

four is one to eleven. Just a touch of it quickly. Then Jesus

was led up into the mountain, into the wilderness, and to be tempted

by the devil next verse. For forty days and fourteen nine he fasted and

became hungry next verse. During that time, the devil came and said to

him, if you are the son of God, tell these stones to become

loss of bread next verse. But Jesus told him no. The scripture says

people do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from

the mouth of God. Amen. And so choosing to believe the word of

God will change even your pronouncements. It would change your outlook, It would

change your speech when Satan comes. How you respond to Satan is to quote

the word of God back to him. Amen. That is a secret to

success. Amen. And so God's word has the power to transform lives.

God's word has the power to change lives. And so a thief can become

born again, and within the course of three months, God can change their

lives completely. Amen. And murderer can give their lives to Christ, and

God can change their lives completely. A liar can give their lives to Christ

and God would change their lives completely. But how can this change come about?

How can this change come about? Number One, you need to let

God's word work on you. You need to let God's word work on you.

Amen, you need to be intentioned now to receive God's word. You

need to own God's word. When you read a scripture that speaks to you,

own it. You need to make room for God's word in your life.

You need to make room to do quiet time. How many of you

have done quiet time in the past one week? Give the Lord a wave

and shame the devil. Amen, make room for God's word. Please tell

your neighbor make room for God's word. I'm going to ask you, how

many of you have done quiet time in the past week. Give the Lord

a wave and shame the devil. Amen. Okay, let's help those who

have not done How many of you have not done quiet time in the past

seven days? Give the Lord a wave and shame the devil. Amen,

make room forward God's word. So for those of you have not done quiet

time, have you gone on Instagram? Have you gone to TikTok? Have

you watched some funny video. Have you been on your phone snapchat? Make

room for God's word, because if you want to be on the path that

leads to success, you need to word. Make room for God's word.

Amen. You need to understand God's word. You need to word understand God's

word because God's word will only be profitable to you when you understand it.

When you don't understand God's word, it is of no profits to you.

Amen. There's some people who come and say, oh, when I read

the Bible, I don't understand anything. How many people are there like that?

Give the Lord a wave. Oh, lift your don't be shy.

This is the hospital. We I here to help people. Lift your hand

up. You need help, so lift your hand up. Let Jesus see

that you don't understand the word when you read it. Father, see the

hands that have been lifted up by your spirit. Help them that from today,

whenever they read your word, give them understanding of your word in Jesus's

mighty name. Say amen, Amen, when you read the Bible, you'll

understand, because when you don't understand, then it doesn't profit you. Just

imagine you're going to write a chemistry exams. You've studied the things I don't

understand. When you get there and they write a question confusion, you be

able to write it means what you're feeling. It means there's no success attached

to you. Amen. So you need to understand God's word so that you

can be set well on the path of success. Can I hear an Amen?

Amen? You need to dwell on it. Dictate on God's word.

Meditate on God's word. Someone one as one of five. That word is

a lamp onto my feet and a light onto my path. What does it

mean? Meditate on it, think about it, think about it, think

about it. The more you meditate on it, you will have understanding.

God will give you understanding. So as you are thinking about it, you

start imagine yourself. Okay, so I'm in a dark room. There is

no light, but then I see it. There's a candle which becomes a

lamb, so it starts to lighten up myself. I can't see. Okay,

there's a table here, there is a chair here, there's a bed

here. So now that I know what is around me, I won't hit

my leg on anything. Then you start seeing. As the light gets brighter,

you start seeing the path that is set before you see, Oh,

this door leads to something. He can leave me outside. So then you

walk to the door, the light well illuminates, and then you see that,

oh, this door actually leads to success. Thy word is a lamb

onto my feet and a light onto my path. So make room for the

word of God or else that will be atter darkness in your life. Amen,

make room for God's words so the light can come into your life.

And it is the light that will lead you to the place of success.

So the secret to success is the secret of or paying God's word. When

you read God's word, when you understand it, when you meditate on it,

when you dwell on it, it will lead you to success. Amen.

Josh Chapter one, verse eight, Joshua one aid study this book of

instruction. The Word of God is a manual for life. The word of

God is what is a manual for life. When you go and buy a

new TV, it comes to the manual. Any electronic thing you buy comes

to the manual. Even cars have manuals. The manual teaches you how to

operate the thing. Amen. The manual teaches you how to operate the thing.

I had a pajaro one time and there was a problem with it.

So I took it to the show and the guys had brought a hammer and

they were hitting the thing boom boom poom. I said, dude, stop,

and I went online to check the manual. And when I opened the

manual there was just a button you need to press and the thing will open.

I said, my God, So you see, without applying yourself to

the manual, people will use hammer boom boom boom to try to fix a

small problem that I just need to say, Oh, open, Amen.

So the Word of God is a manual, says as Stead did this book

of instruction continually. You don't do your quiet time today and give it one

week one month break. That's not how you do it continually. Amen.

Do you know why you're not doing your quiet time? Because Satan doesn't want

you to do your quiet time. The entrance of God's word work brings light

and understanding. So for those of you who don't understand, that's your problem.

Satan doesn't want you to have understanding because God's word brings light and it

brings understanding. Amen. The more continually you do it, the more light

you have, the more understanding you have. So it says, don't let

this book of instruction, but study it, meditate on it, work day

and night, so that you will be sure to obey. Obedience is part

of what brings us to success. Abraham obeyed God, and it was accounted

to him what for righteousness? He believed in God. He obeyed God so

game successful. Meditate on it day and now to obey everything that is written

in it. Only then, only then will you prosper and succeed in all

that you do. Outside of the word of God, you can prosper,

but they will not be the prosperity that comes from God. Amen. And

as children of God, there is a path that leads to prosperity, and

God wants all of us on it. Can I hear an? Amen?

Is anybody going back to quiet time? Are you sure you are? God

is your witness? Amen? And so hold fast to God's word. Hold

fast to God's word. Do you see the way you can't forget your name

when you sleep and you wake upway, what is your name? You can't

tell them my name? Is that you hold fast to God's word. Hold

fast to God's because God's word is precious. God's word is precious. So

hold fast to it. God's word is what can bring you to success.

So hold fast to it. Amen. So quickly, let me give you

seven reasons why the word of God is powerful and why the Word of God

can bring you to success. Seven reasons why the word of God is powerful

and why the Word of God can bring you to success. Amen. So

from Genesis chapters one and chapters two, Chapters one and two, it reveals

the power of God. So God's word reveals God's power. God's word reveals

God's power. Amen. If you want to see the power of God,

refer to God's word. Because God's word reveals God's power. Amen. The

example of the Word of God has the power to reveal to us certain things

that we could not know in any other way. How and when the world

was created. The reason why man is the way he is because of sin,

the true nature of God. What happens when we die? Have you

thought about that? What happens when we die? It is only the word

of God that can reveal the secrets to you. Amen. And so human

beings are studying things, they are speculating things. They've come up with a

lot of theories, but they are all theories. Some people say the world

is about two billion years old. Those are theories. The Bible says that

God created the earth and how many days six days, and rested on the

seventh day. The Bible also says that one day is like a thousand years

in the eyes of God. So if you are a good mathematician, even

one it comes to a thousand and God created the earth in that six days,

then how old is the heath? Six thousand years? Simple? Do

you understand? Simple? There is no You don't need to do any go

with them. And these simple mathematics, do you understand? There are theor

reason that people are dead? The world was created in a big bang.

What happened when I did this noise? So the power of God is revealed

what through his word? And so through the word of God. In Genesis

chapter one, reading downwards, we know that the earth was void and without

form. The earth was formless. Through the word of God, we know

that the spirit of God have upon the surface of the deep. Understand,

let's got jealous. Chapter one, verse one and two. We know the

spirit of God was upon the surface of the deed. We know that God

created the heavens and the earth by his power. Next verse. We know

that the world was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters,

and the spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Next

verse, then God said, let there be light, and there was light.

The power of God is revealed. He said there was darkness. He

said, let them be light, and there was light. Understand. And

so when you read further, you're that this light is not the moon and

the sun or the starts. This light is different. This is the light

of the world. Let's go back to June of the one verse verse three.

June of the one verse three. Let's start from verse one and then

will come back to Yes. So in the beginning, the Word existed already,

the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Next verse,

he existed in the beginning with God. Next verse, God created everything

through him. So when God said let them be was because of the Word,

and nothing was created except through him. Next verse, the Word gave

life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everything.

You understand, the life of the Word brought light to everything. So when

God said, let that be light, it was Jesus who appeared and light

came to everything. If you read feather. On the third day, God

created the sun and the moon and the stars. So the light that God

said let that be is the word of God, which is Christ Jesus.

So if you have Jesus in you, you have light in you. A

man, Please ask your neighbor, do you have Jesus or you have light

of? Amen? What did they say? They have Jesus or they have

light of They have both? You can have both. It's either you have

one or the other. Amen. So the word of God reveals the power

of God. So if you want to see the power of God, go

to the word of God. You see the power of God. Amen.

Number two. The word of God has power to refute, refute r E

f u t e refute. Somebody look at the dictionary meaning for refute for

us. Second Timothy chapter three sixteen, Second Timothy chapter three Wes sixteen hallluyai

haluyai. Mm hmm yeah yeah y. All scripture is inspired by God and

it's useful to teach. Amen. Every institution has a way or a manual

they used to teach Amen. There are some secondary schools. When you go

there, they will teach you how to walk. So when you come out

from law school, and we see them walking, we know that they went

to this school. I hope you understand. And there's some secondary schools,

Jolie. When we see them, we know that, Chalie, this is

where you came from. Do you understand. So there is a teaching that

results in making you in the image and in the likeness of God. So

when people see you, they know that you are a product of the teaching

of God's word. Do you understand. So, then when there is a

situation where something else, as a lie is being propagated, what you can

use to refute or to come against, or to prove that that thing is

a lie is only on the basis of God's word. Because without the word

of God, you will believe a lie. And guess what, Satan is

the master at telling lies. Do you understand? Satan is what the master

of telling lies? And the word of God is what you can use to

prove what is true. I hope you understand. If I come and tell

you that you are a fool? Are you a fool? Has God called

you a fool? You are not a fool? J understand? So based

on God's word, you know who you are. You are a child of

God. You are precious in the sight of God. You are a priest

onto God and onto his Church. Do you get it? So you choose

to believe what God's word says as a proof of what your maker has ordained

you to be. Anything else is a lie and you can only refuse that

with the word of God. Amen. And so if God's word approves it,

then we run with it. If God's word rejects it, what we

do we reject it. Amen. Nothing we can do will make it work,

make it acceptable, or make it right. Amen. When it comes

to the issue of morality, the standard we used to judge morality is not

our own goodness, but it is based on God's word. Amen. If

the Bible says that phnicate as liars adult dress will not inherit the Kingdom of

God. It is because of God's word. So we will choose not to

funicate so we can inherit the Kingdom of God. We will choose not to

tell lies so we can inherit the Kingdom of God. We will choose not

to save other idols so we can inherit the Kingdom of God. It is

the truth of God's word. Do you understand and by believing in God's word,

you set yourself up on a path that leads to success. Amen.

And so, like I said, ten years from now you can judge yourself.

You will be more successful than those who don't believe in God's word.

Amen. You will be far ahead of them because you've chosen to believe in

God's word. Amen. We don't compare butter and my dream. Better and

madine are two different things? Are in there? Yes, When you put

butter on toasts, it tastes different than putting margarine on toast. When you

want to bake a cake, right, it's either batter or magor how many

of you know how to make? Oh? We have some people who know

how to bike. Wow. So what do you use? Use better of

my dream? Use? What? Use better? Who disagrees you disagree?

What do you use margarine? Some people use margarine, some people use better.

Depends on what you're baking. Amen. But there's a difference. Amen.

So there's a difference between living a godly life and living an ungodly life.

There's a difference between living a faith filled life and a faith life.

There's a difference, and the Word of God clearly defines the boundaries of these,

Amen. And so to be successful in this life, we need the

power of the Word of God to lead us on the right path. Amen.

And So the reason why we cannot encourage immorality, and we cannot encourage

everything that is wrong, is because of the word of God left to us

alone. You can do whatever you want, understand. God created your mouth

to eat. God created your nose to breathe. If you choose to eat

through your nose, that is your problem, understand. But because of the

Word of God, we can't ignore immorality. We can't ignore the wrong things.

We have to tell you the right thing. And especially if you're a

child of God who is studying the word of God, you will know the

right thing. Will come and say that, Oh, eat through your nose.

Charaliejoloph is nice. Put it inside your nose. It will go into

your stomach. I'll be understand. So the word of God helps us to

refute what is not right. Amen, So we can stay on the paths

of righteousness. Number three, Look chapter eight, verse eleven. How the

Word of God has power to change lives. The word of God has power

to reproduce the Word of God has power to reproduce. And this is the

meaning of the power all. Jesus said, the seed is God's word.

The seed is God's word Verse twelve. The seed that fell on the path,

for the path represents those who hear the message, only for the devil

to come in and to take it away from their hearts and to prevent them

from believing and being saved. The seed that the sore soul is the word

of God. So you need to God the word of God in your heart.

You need to secure the word of God. You need to protect the

word of God. Because the entrance of God's word brings light and it brings

understanding. Amen. So the more the word of God you have, the

more light you have. The less of God's word you have, the more

light of you have Amen, the more word light of you have. Amen.

And so Jesus said that the word of God is like seed. Seed

has the ability to reproduce. In the beginning, when God created the earth,

the heaven said the earth, he created the herbs, He created trees,

and he said that the trees, the fruits of the trees, should

have seeds after their own kind to reproduce. So seeds have the ability to

reproduce. The Word of God has the ability to reproduce Amen. The word

of God, when it is planted in an honest and obedient heart, can

produce physical acts which can be seen and felt. The more of the Word

of God you're receiving, you you see that your life will begin to change.

How many of you have been changed since you join the Youth Church.

Give the Lord a wave and shame the devil. Amen. So, if

you are not changing, it means you are not allowing the word of God

to permeate your heart. You are not allowing the Word of God to work

on you. Because the Word of God has the ability to reproduce amen.

The nature of Christ in us can I hear an amen? Amen? And

so God's Word, when it's planted in the human hearts, from generation to

generation, has the ability to produce Christians, and the New Estament Church a

man after the New Testament Church, even centuries after. Do you know why

we are called Christians now is because of the Word of God. In the

olden days they were also called Christians. Why because of the Word of God.

There is a similarity between us and the Christians of old, and the

similarity is the word of God, because the Word of God has the ability

to produce in us the very same things that it produced in them. Amen.

The Word of God has the ability to produce in us the power to

be witnesses of Christ Jesus. Where we can't tell others about Christ Jesus.

They did that before, we are doing it. Now, do you understand

the Word of God has the ability to produce in us the nature of Christ.

Jesus went about doing good. We are going about doing good. He

went about healing all those who are sick and oppressed of the devil. We

are doing the same thing. Now. It's because of the Word of God.

So the Word of God has the ability to produce in us the very

nature of God. And when we have all grown up and left this earth,

the Christians that will come after us, they will still have the same

seed in them. And so when people look at them, they will see

some similarities to us because of the Word of God. Amen. So we

need the Word of God in us so that we can be like Christ Jesus.

Can I hear an Amen? Number four first Pido, Chapter two,

Verse twenty five. The Word of God has the power to redirect the Word

of God has the power to redirect. Once we were like sheep who wandered

away. But now you have turned to your shepherd, the God at the

end of your soul. Amen. Ones, we're like sheep without shepherds,

we're just wandering around. We're drinking water from Goddess and filthy places. Amen.

Where without protection, where without a shepherd leading us? But because of

the word of God, God has directed us to a shepherd. Amen.

And a shepherd watches over the souls of the sheep. So the shepherd has

a staff, the shepherd has a road, and where the staff and the

road, the shepherd directs the sheep. So the word of God has power

to redirect. Amen. And so there are many testimonies of great change experiences

that people have experienced, and if you listen to them, you find out

that the basis of their great change experience is because of the word of God.

The more of the Word of God have come to understand, the more

they have changed, and the more their lives have become better. Amen.

So it's because they began reading God's word. It's because they started to steady

God's word with someone. It's because they heard a lesson or received encouragement based

on God's word that brought a change in their lives. Amen, Number five

Someone thirty eight, verse seven. The word of God has power to revive.

The Word of God has power to revive. The Word of God has

power to revive. And though I am surrounded by trouble, you will protect

me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and

the power of your right hand saves. So God's word has power to save.

God's word has power to revive. Amen. The Word of God is

able to bring comfort and hope, as well as strength and encouragement to those

who are in sorrow. Amen. I went for a funeral one time and

I met one of my cousins and she was crying. I was like,

ah, Mammy, why crying. She was crying like as though tally it

was the basin. Meanwhile, I was at schoolmates who had died. So

it was guys, said, when you come, and I quoted the Word

of God to her. I said to her, don't moan like how I'm

believers more. Don't moan like how I'm believers more, because we believe that

those who have died in the Lord, they are not dead, They're gone

to sleep. Amen. And when Christ Jesus appears, we will see them

again. It's not like they are gone forever. They're just going to take

a nap. When Jesus comes, we will see them again. And suddenly

the word of God brought encouragement to her, and she took her hand ship

and wipe a tears and she didn't cry again. I went to another funerals

and where one of my aunties was also here cry. I called it as

when I'm come. So that is my message when I go to funeral.

And the moment I preached them, they stopped crying. Amen. One of

these days I'll go to a friend to give you them I can. I'll

preach, everybody will stop crying, will be laughing. Amen. The word

of God has the ability to encourage, so when you receive it, you

receive encouragement. The word of God has the ability to revive, so you

receive the grace of God to revive your life. Number six. Finally,

last but one point. The word of God has power to reward. He

breached Chapter eleven, verse six. For those who come to him, he

must know that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that seek

him diligently for those that come to him. Says that, And it's impossible

to please God without faith. And anyone who wants to come to him must

believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. So

the word of God reveals the power to reward. Amen. And if you

want to be on the path to success, then the word of God is

your show way, because the Word of God has the power to reward.

Number seven. The word of God has the power to get us ready.

Look Chapter twelve, verse forty. The word of God has the power to

get us ready. Look Chapter twelve, verse forty. You too, be

ready for the Son of Man is coming. You must be ready at all

times, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. Please ask

your neighbor, are you ready for Jesus's coming? Please? What did they

say? Please tell them Jesus is coming. Amen. There's a mean when

he hear Jesus coming and they have to do she it means that they are

not ready. Amen. When you are truly ready, you will rejoice that

Jesus is coming. Amen. So the word of God gives us the power

to get ready. Amen. The word of God gives us the power to

get ready. And so the Bible says that we will all meet God in

one way or another, either when we die before he comes and face him

in judgment, or when Jesus returns and face him in judgment. Amen.

So Jesus would have come for you tomorrow. If tomorrow your sleep and you

don't wake up it, miss Jesus has come for you. Don't understand.

So you need to be ready at all times. You can't live your life

anyhow. Amen. You can't live your life anyhow. Amen. Can you

please stand on your feet and the word of God makes us ready to tell

others about Jesus. The word of God prepares us and has the power to

make us ready in that we tell others about Christ. So many of you

have said told someone about Jesus in the past one week, seven days ago.

Anybody you've mentioned Jesus to someone, God bless you. May you receive

a sudden alet on your phone. Yes, because you are telling people about

Jesus, May you receive a saddine surprise on your phone. Amen. Those

who are not telling anything about Jesus, may your phone fall down and may

your phone break. They made the screen break, because you're not telling people

about Jesus. Amen. The word of God has come. I believe you've

heard a lot. Amen. But it is in your interest and in my

interest to obey the word of God. It is in our interest to believe

in God's word so that we can be set on the path of righteousness.

Amen. So you want to just say a prayer for yourself. Talk to

God. Tell God how from today you are going to believe in his word.

Tell God how from today you're going to apply yourself to his word.

Tell God how you are going to cherish his word. How you are going

to study his word. Tell God how you're going to meditate on his word.

Tell God how you are going to love on his word. Tell God

how you're going to share his word. Tell God how you are going to

express his word to others. And so tell God that he should make the

power that is available in his word be revealed in you as you share Christ

Jesus. Just say the prayer to the Lord. Oh, say a prayer

to the Lord. You can't pray without moving your lips. Are you praying

to the Lord in Jesus' precious name? Amen? In Matthew thirteen. The

Bible says that the devil comes to steal the word of God out of the

hearts of believers. Amen, You're not going to pray that anything that is

sent after you to steal God's heart from your heart that makes you not understand

God's word. You are praying by divine authority that today, whatever it is,

should be arrested. Anything that comes after you to steal God's word out

of your heart, let it be arrested in the name of Jesus. Lift

right hand to the loss Father. In the name of Jesus, I secure

my mind, I secure my heart in the blood of Jesus, and I

declare from today, whatever enemy has the ability to steal God's word out of

my heart, say from today, access denied from today, access denied from

today, access denied. In the name of Jesus. The word of God

will be family planted in my heart, and it will not be stolen.

I will not lose the word of God from my heart. In the name

of Jesus. Whatever steals the wad of God, it is now prohibited.

It's now bad, it is now sucked. In the name of Jesus.

You will have no power for me in the name of Jesus, you will

have no power over me. In the name of Jesus, you will have

no power to steal God's word out of my heart. In the name of

Jesus. From today, Satan, you have no power over me to steal

God's word out of my heart. In the name of Jesus. From today,

God's word. It's a family planted in my heart in jesus precious name.

Let every believe. I say at amen, every eye close, every

head bowed. If you are here, you are not born again. You

have not received Jesus as a lord over your life. Amen. The path

to success is clearly defined by the word of God, and it is only

those who believe in Christ Jesus who will have the ability to believe in God's

word. If you are here, you are not born again. You want

to give your life to Jesus. You want to surrender your life to the

Lord. Please come to the front unless say a prayer today together, Amen.

Or you are here, you are born again, but you have not

been serious with being a child of God, being a true Christian, being

a proper child of God. You want to rededicate your life to the Lord.

If you are here as well. Like that, Please come, let's

see a prayer together. If you're here like that, please come and let's

say a prayer together. Final un call. You want to be born again,

you want to rededicate your life to Jesus. Amen, Father, we

give you thanks for all those other sound of my voice, my prayers.

The Lord you secure them, and you mark them with your blood for your

glory. That ten years from now, twenty years from now, Let that

be an evident expression of the parts of success being made manifest in their lives

in the precious name of your son Jesus. Let her believe us say an amen.
