The Risen Christ - Rev Ron Chiarelli

A faithful You are ever living, are ever true. We thank you that

you send your precious son Jesus to come and to redeem us unto you.

We thank you that by that great sacrifice, you have qualified us to be

sons and daughters on the moscycle God. And so tonight we've returned to give

you all thanks. We pretend to give you all praise. We retend to

say thank you because you are so loving and your love for God for us

overwhelms us. We give you all praise, and we'll give you all thanks

for gathering us together again. Tonight. We pray, Lord, Holy Spirit,

that you speak to us in a language will understand, Minister to our

hearts. The Lord, give us a word to run with until you speak

to us another time in Jesus' precious name. Let believe I say an a

name you mean. And so just to just to do a quick weekup of

Samon from Sunday, the word God gave to us on Sunday, you know,

just going to go through it, just to pick up and to blean

some knowledge and some wisdom from it, and to blean what God's word for

us in the season is. And so finally indulge me while we just go

over the samon from Sunday. I titled it there is in Christ because there

isn't Jesus, because there was a message that has been bending in my spirit

for the past one one week. And what I gave you on Sunday was

just an introduction to that message. When God allows us, it gives us

the grace I'll be able to share more on it. And so let's take

our foundation's cript from Hebrews chapter eleven. It's six, Hebrews chapter It's six,

and the Bible says that but without faith, it is impossible to please

God, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and

that he is a rewarder of those that seek him diligently. Amen. For

the emphasis or the purpose of having gender neutrality, because we have our sisters

also on the call, would read it again this way, but without faith

it is impossible to please Him, for he or she who comes to God

must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that seek

him diligently. Amen. And so this scripture introduces to us the part for

engaging with God, the pattern for seeking God, the pattern for finding God

and the ultimate result of the reward that one can receive from seeking God.

Amen. There is an aspect of seeking God which requires us to know Him,

to know him, and so on. Sunday, I was asking the

question that do we know God? Because God is a personal God. He

reveals himself personally to his children Amen, like a way afict as multiple children,

three or four children, though he is the father of all of them.

But the father has a personal relationship with every one of his children.

Amen. So we know from the acts and the ways of God that God

is sovereign. We know that God is omnisient. We know God is omnipotent.

We know God is omnipresent. We know God to be a good God.

We know God to be a kind God. We know God to be

a messy for God. We know God to be a loving father. We

know God to be so gracious towards his children. Amen. And so all

those are attributes of who He is. And so if you are to know

God, it requires you to have knowledge about him. Amen. Requires us

to have knowledge about him. So once we have knowledge about Him, then

we can come to God knowing that He is all that he is, so

that we can seek him diligently so that we can be beneficiaries of every and

any blessing that He has in store for us. So that's the foundation to

the ris in Christ. That next scripture is from Psalm ninety one, vers.

One and two, and David the Psalmist writes this God that he who

dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of

the Almighty. And he goes further to say that I will say of the

Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him

I will trust. And so David graduates from the general knowledge about God to

a more personal knowledge about God. And so he introduces God to us as

the Most High God. He introduces God to us as the Almighty God.

Then he introduces the personal God that he knows to us as God and his

refuge and his fortress. And he introduces God as my God and introduces us

to the level of trust that he has in his God. Now the question

will be that can you call God my God? Is God your God?

Or God is a general God for everybody else, so you don't have a

sense of personal belonging with him. I came to announce to you tonight that

God wants to have a personal relationship with you, and that personal relationship will

transpire and end you up in a place of you seeking Him diligently, and

after you have found him, he will reward you handsomely or beautifully. Amen.

And so David refers to God as the Lord, my refuge, my

fortress, my God. And so we need to get to that place as

children of God where we personalize our relationship with the most High, and where

we can declare that Jesus, my Jesus, Jesus my Lord. They I'll

find the o Maker who is my God, have a personal outburst of who

he is to the whole wife will. Amen. And it's quite unfortunately because

many Christians in this season or in this generation, they go where the wind

blows. They don't want to seek God to have a personal relationship. So

many believers don't have a personal relationship. But it's about time that we begin

to develop our personal relationship with God so that He can operate with us,

He can commune with us on a very very personal level. Amen. And

so one time in the Word of God, Jesus asked his disciples, who

do men say that I am? Who do men say that I am?

And so you see when you ask this question, like I was saying in

service, and evangelist went preaching and was asking someone do you know Jesus?

And the guy asked politician? And they had no clue who the Lord is.

We had no knowledge about him. Well then they thought he thought it

was a politician. There was a p you. If we ask everybody who

Jesus is to you, you'll be surprised the answers that will come out,

and the answers primarily me, who is just? And what do you call?

It is just enhancing the knowledge they have about the law. And so

if you are asked who is Jesus to you, as a child of God,

you should be able to write a whole essay, a tempage essay about

who Jesus is to you, based on your knowledge of him, based on

your experience of him. Amen. And so even with all that Jesus did,

people said, oh, he's Elijah, people said he is this is

that? And then he asked these disciples, who do who then do you

say that I am? Out of the top disciples was only one person who

had an answer, who had the correct answer. Amen. So I think

one of these is we should try that in church, ask people who is

Jesus. In fact, please remind me, let me tell Prescott to do

a social media something on this. Just let's just randomly ask people who is

Jesus to you. Let's hear the answers with you. Amen. But Jesus

wants us to know him, like Peter knew who Jesus is and declared,

Jesus wants us to know him on a personal level. It's quite unfortunate because

many for many Christians, the knowledge they have about Jesus Jesus is the son

of Mary or the son of Joseph, or he was a carpenter, or

he lived in Nazareth, or he made wine out of water, or he

fed people with bread and fish. People have very little knowledge about the Lord.

But if we are to seek him diligently, then we need to find

out who he is. And how we can find out who the Lord is

is by going back to the scriptures, by reading about him, seeing all

the wonderful things he did, reading about all the marvelous things he did,

his nature, his character, his person. By learning about him, we

can know who he is. By seeking him in prayer, we can know

who he is. Amen. And so Jesus is not dead. Jesus has

risen. Jesus died, but he rose again a man, and he seated

at the right hand of the Father. And he has given his spirit to

us, who is the Lord Holy Spirit. So we have the spirit of

Christ, who is the Lord Holy Spirit, who lives in us as children

of God. And so we cannot be ignorant of who he is. We

have to know who he is so that we can seek him diligently. I

bet you, once you go on a journey to know who Christ Jesus is,

all the little little sins you are committing use of them, because when

you find out who Jesus is, you see that you cannot continue in sin

and still pursue him on that personal level. Sain will separat you. Amen.

And so as believers, we need to have knowledge about our Lord King.

Amen. So just to share do a recap of what shared with you

Jesus' resurrection brought us victory and the victory that he brought us. I just

want to share with you eight of the victories that jesus resurrection brought to us,

and the first one is from John chapter twenty vers. Fourteen. John

chapter twentyen vers. Fourteen. And this was when he had been buried.

And on the third day he rose up triumphantly. Amen, he rose up.

And as the custom of the Jewish people were that when a person dies

a lot and dies, they go there to put spices on the body.

So Mary Magdalene had gone there early in the morning. And the Bible says

that now when she had said this, she turned So when she went there,

she couldn't find jesus body in the tomb. And she was worried and

in great despair that someone had come to steal Jesus's body. But while she

was contemplating and in great despair, Jesus appeared to him. When Jesus called

her name, she knew that it was the Master Amen. So Jesus's appearance

after his and brought victory over despair. So, because Jesus has conquered despair

as a child of God, despair should have no power over you. Because

Christ Jesus has brought us the victory. No circumstance shouldn't make us be so

depressed that we are in great despair. No, we need to shake ourselves

out of that, because God has brought us victory over despair. The second

time, Jesus appeared after his result direction to bring us victory. In Marthy

chapter twenty eight, let's look at the verse nine to ten. A group

of where leaving the tomb. They had also come to the tomb they were

living, and Jesus appeared to them. Marthy twenty eight, verse nine to

ten. They were leaving and Jesus appeared to the woman. They thought he

was dead, but he appeared to them, and when they saw him they

worshiped him. Amen. And so Jesus brought victory over death. Jesus brought

victory over death. So anything that represents death in your life, because Jesus

brought victory to us, commanned it to disappeared in Jesus Mighty Night. The

third time Jesus appeared, Jesus met two of his disciples on the road to

Amius Look twenty four, vers. Thirteen to thirty two. And they were

contemplated because they were in confusion about where Jesus was, about the fact that

they hadn't had anything about him resurrecting, and Jesus appeared amongst them and spoke

with them. And told them things about the Kingdom of God until their confusion

was over. Then Jesus left them, and so Jesus brought victory over confusion

by appearing to the disciples were on the road to Myus. The fourth time

Jesus appeared, he appeared to the ten Disciples who were hiding for fear of

being killed, also by the Jews and by the Romans. He looked after

twenty four thirty six to forty three. These disciples were afraid of what might

happen to them, so they were in hiding. But the Lord Jesus appeared

to them even while they were in hiding and brought victory over fear. Jesus

brought victory over fear. Amen, Jesus brought victory over fear. So whatever

represents fear in your life, God has not given us the spirit of fear,

but He's giving us the spirit of power, of love and of a

sound mind. To walk in that sound mind and walk as one who does

not fear. Amen. The fifth time Jesus appeared to bring us victory after

his resurrection. He appeared to the eleven disciples first, and Jesus appeared.

Thomas was not there, and when he came and was sold he didn't believe.

But while they were talking, Jesus appeared and showed Thomas his wounds Amen.

And so Jesus brought victory over doubt when he appeared to the eleven disciples.

And then the said time Jesus appeared after his resurrection as a raisen Christ,

Jesus appeared to seven of his disciples, including Peter, who had denied

Jesus, John chapter twenty one. Peter, who had denied Jesus, Jesus

appeared to them, and by his appearance, he restored Peter back into the

ministry because Peter had decided to go fishing after Jesus died. He meant so

Jesus restored Peter back into the ministry. The seventh time Jesus appeared as the

risen Christ to give us victory was when he asked eleven of the eleven disciples

to meet him on a mountain in Galilee. In bat Whachapter twenty eight,

sixteen to twenty, the Jesus told them that he had been given all power

and authority, and he gave the disciples the great commission to go and make

other disciples. So Jesus's resurrection and his appearance brought victory over any other power.

The Bible says that and the eleven went away into Galilee, to the

mountain which Jesus had appointed for them, And when they saw him, they

worshiped him, and some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke, saying,

all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore

and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father

and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all

things which I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always,

even to the end of the age. Amen. So Jesus' appearance brought

victory over every power. Jesus' appearance as a raising Christ gave us the power

to witness to others to make disciples of them. He gave us the power

to be able to teach others all that he has instructed in his work.

And finally, the aid appearance of Jesus as there risen Christ at chapter one

is one to aid. Jesus appeared to his followers at one time, and

he confirmed the completion of his mission and the promise of the Father. And

so Jesus had victory over all things, and he gave us that victory over

all things. And so Jesus has shown himself to be alive by many proofs.

Scripture has recorded how Jesus revealed himself, has thereris in Christ many times

when he resurrected. And so this Jesus has risen. And this Jesus is

seated at the right hand of the Father. And this Jesus is interceding for

you and I, this Jesus is interceding for you and I. So don't

ever feel that you are alone, don't ever feel that you are unloved,

don't ever feel that you are unwanted, because this Jesus, who has risen,

is interceding for you. He is praying for you, He's edging you

off in all that you are doing. So be bold as a child of

God, because this reson Jesus is on your case. Amen. And so

the apostle Paul rights in Philippius chapter three, this eight reading downwards to the

best tensis, that I may know you, that I may know him,

and the power of his resurrection, the power of his resurrection, Amen,

And the fellowship of his suffering being confirmed to his death. Amen. And

so there is a knowing to know. There is a knowing to know,

and we should consider it excellent knowledge to know who the Lord Jesus is.

And so tonight I want to encourage you that you need to go on a

journey to seek the Lord, to find him and to know him. And

I can promise you that when you find him, your life will not be

the same again. And so tonight that is all by way of our Bible

teaching. I want you to make time and go go the scriptures, go

go the points, and pray tonight that God will reveal himself to you,

that Jesus will appear in your room. That tonight he will reveal himself to

you. That Sunday you come and testify that the Lord came into my room

and he revealed himself to me. Father will give you thanks for your word.

Tonight, we pray that you perfect everything concerning us according to your word.

The Lord Jesus, reveal yourself to us through dreams, through visions,

open our eyes to see you, that we may behold your beauty and love

you greatly. In Jesus Mighty. Nay you pray with Thanksgiving Amen, and Amen
