  1. So this morning, I'm here to invite everybody, anybody who wants to share

  2. his or her testimoney with us. If you have a testimony this morning,

  3. please walk up to me. Testimony. God has been good to us.

  4. Oh, I appreciate our sister. Anybody else will testimony? Amen, hell

  5. with me. So I want to thank God for his son Jesus. This

  6. week, I've seen a difference importance of the name Jesus Christ. We see

  7. it's like if you are troubled or something, just mentioning jesays his name.

  8. But then this week, I think on Monday, something was happening to me.

  9. I don't know what it was. But then I was just lying there

  10. and then I felt something was holding me. So I was trying to mention

  11. she says his name. I couldn't open my mouth. So I kept on

  12. saying this in my head and I I was like, it left me.

  13. So the moment I stopped saying she says his name, it was coming back.

  14. And then I woke up, and then I slept again. When I

  15. slept and I woke up again, it happened again. And the moment I

  16. mentioned this time, is it the first time? I was shocked? Because

  17. it had never happened before, so I didn't know what it was. So

  18. the next time it happened, I was able to mention his name first,

  19. and then it left me instant me. So I just want to down good

  20. because if Jesus hadn't come to die some time saying something's happen, you don't

  21. know what's Jesus is the name that when something happens, so you can't just

  22. mention his name and then you are fine. So if he didn't come to

  23. that wouldn't have that. So I want to down gold for the name Jesus

  24. and his son. Amen. I also want to thank God for life.

  25. This week, I've had stories. I've seen pictures of people who left home,

  26. told their family members at home, I'm going to wake and I'll be

  27. back. They left, and then they were involved in car accidents and a

  28. whole Lord. So I'm grateful to God for life. And there are certain

  29. things we take for granted. But I've come to understand over the years that

  30. even the little air I get to breathe every day, it's a privilege,

  31. and I'm grateful to God for that. Amen. Can we stress forth our

  32. hand towards our sister we are praying, and we are thanking God for her

  33. testimony this morning. We are thanking God for deliverance. We are thanking God

  34. for revealing himself to her, and we are secure and testimony in the plood.

  35. Turn our Father, once again, we thank you for the testimony that

  36. has come before. We thank you for all you've done for her, all

  37. you are doing for him, what you do for her. We thank you

  38. that whenever the enemy meant for evil, you have tended for her good.

  39. Thank you for also revealing yourself to her. Thank you, Lord for showing

  40. her another part of your love. We pray and secure her testimony in the

  41. blood of Jesus. We act that no mutilations from the camp of the enemy

  42. will prevail in the name of Jesus, that she's secured from any harm.

  43. In the name of Jesus, we pray with thanksgiving. Amen. Can we

  44. put our hands together for Jesus this morning? Hallelujah, Amen, Hallelujah.

  45. Amen. What a blessing it is, What a powerful testimony. Amen.

  46. Wow, that was an attack on her in her sleep, through her dreams.

  47. Hallelujah. But the name Jesus, the revelation about the name of Jesus

  48. ten things around. Amen, hallelujah. What a blessing. Are you happy

  49. to be in church? Oh? Yeah? Your your energy level? Is

  50. it the weathermen? What a blessing. Look at your neighbor and tell your

  51. neighbor, I'm happy to be sitting by you this morning. Yeah, looking

  52. good and nice telling about it. Didn't just happen by a chance, but

  53. it's by the message of God that you are still here and alive and still

  54. breathing. Hallelujah, a man, what a blessing. What a blessing.

  55. So throughout the whole of this month, we've been treating on honoring a man.

  56. I'm not you know that we've been treated on honoring all right, it's

  57. a great blessing. So we'll be concluding on that subject matter for this first

  58. service and trust God for the next service. What the Lord will do a

  59. man. It's a great blessing. So I hope you are all prepared.

  60. I hope you've not forgotten all that we've been taught throughout this wholement that it

  61. will not just be for the month, but it is something that will live

  62. it through our out our lives. Amen. Is that a promise you're making

  63. to yourself, Or is that a promise you're making to yourself that you will

  64. not just hear the message for this month and then that is it, But

  65. it is something that you are going to live it in your school, at

  66. home, your workplace, the church, wherever you find yourself, wherever honor

  67. is due. Sometimes your class, in your class, their class rep is

  68. representing somebody, so he must honor. He wants to disrespect the person you

  69. are disrespecting the person who made that person a rep. So everywhere honor is

  70. required. Hallelujah amen, amen? Oh are we together? Are we here?

  71. Then? Give Jason some praise and shout. Let's say hallelujah amen?

  72. Or ride Are you ready for the word of the Lord today? Oh?

  73. Are you sure? Okay? How prepared are you? Do you have a

  74. notebook or gadgets that you're using? Okay? Those of you who are using

  75. your notebook? And I see your note using notebook? Can you wave your

  76. notebooks all right? Those are you using your phones or your gadgets? Can

  77. you wave your gadgets all right? What a blessing? Can you wave your

  78. bibles? Those of you who brought your bibles? Halleluj Your mind is there?

  79. A man. I use both just in case electronics and Phil's hallelujah,

  80. A man, it's like great blessing. It's a great blessing. Wow,

  81. what a blessing. Anyways, the Lord has prepared as servants to bring us

  82. his word, and this morning to give him honor is due on behalf of

  83. our father, the art Bishop. We welcome you to service one more time.

  84. And then the Seventh of the Lord has been prepared to bring us his

  85. word today. And it's my emprayer that you open up your heart to receive

  86. the Word. Now bring transformation, and you will the world of mind this

  87. morning. And I believe that when you live here, let somebody see you

  88. and say something that's changed about you. Hallelujah. Is that what is going

  89. to happen to us? And now you blame the Holy s Way to do

  90. that to you. Then, with Jesus joy, let's rise and welcome the

  91. seven of God who has been prepared for us this morning. Heaven Lord,

  92. hallelujah. Oh, I said, hallelujah. Are you excited to be in

  93. the presence of God this morning? Amen? That's great, Heavenly Father,

  94. We give you thanks this morning for another blessing. And another opportunity to be

  95. gathered in your presence, to receive from you that our lives may be changed,

  96. and that we can become all that you have purposed for us to be

  97. according to your word. The entrance of your word brings light, and it

  98. brings understanding. So, Oh Lord, we have come to receive light.

  99. We have come to receive understanding. Lord, let it be onto us that

  100. will leave more enlightened. Jesus Smighty Name, we give thanks. Somebody say

  101. Amen, before we are seated. Can we think as forgather just as in

  102. the spirit of God, to take control as we gother ma spirit work with

  103. speak God going away lest because we can. Can you say passings, can

  104. staff sits? Just expecs spit still, It's simple, hallelujah. Before you

  105. are seated, just say hello to someone standing by you again and sit take

  106. your seat at the presence of the Lord. Amen. It's good to see

  107. you in church this rainy Sunday morning. Amen. It is a proper Christians

  108. who I've come to church. So we say congratulations, your friend. You

  109. are a proper Christian. Amen. They're improper Christians. They are still sleeping

  110. because they think it will read again so they won't come to church. And

  111. it's good to see you in church. Hallelujah. Amen, avenue if you

  112. are excited to receive from the Lord this morning. Amen. And so we've

  113. been treating honor in the past month. Amen. And I believe you've learnt

  114. a lot and that your life is changing. You're becoming a better version of

  115. yourself. Amen. If you are not changing, there, it means there's

  116. something wrong with you, because it is only a fool who says that I

  117. won't change. I can hear some people preaching. I'll give them the microphone

  118. right now. Amen. But as you receive from the Lord, your life

  119. should always change. You should be a better version of yourself because following Jesus

  120. is a path to perfection. Do you understand the end result of your life

  121. is that you'll be perfect in the eyes of God. Amen. And how

  122. you become perfect is to keep changing precept upon precept. Little by little.

  123. You keep changing, Amen, because God is mourning you to become what he

  124. wants you to be. Can I hear an Amen? And so this morning,

  125. by the grace of God, I want to share with you, in

  126. addition to all that has been shared with you on the title the dimensions of

  127. honor, the dimensions of honor. Amen. Very often when we talk about

  128. honor, we just categorize it into one thing, and we usually categorize it

  129. into the lesser one honoring the greater one, you get it, or the

  130. younger one honoring the older one, or the poorer one honoring the richer one.

  131. Do you understand? But today, by the grace of God, we

  132. are going to learn other dimensions to honor so that our whole approach to honor

  133. will be as Amen, so that it will not just be a one way

  134. approach to honor. Amen. So what is the meaning of honor? The

  135. dictionary meaning of honor simply needs to demonstrate high respect and great esteem for someone.

  136. To demonstrate high respect and great esteem for someone, Amen. How many

  137. of you are afraid of snakes? Some hands are. Now you're not afraid

  138. of snakes. You have pets who are snakes. Amen. Do you know

  139. why you are afraid of snakes because you are afraid that you can harm you,

  140. So because of that you give them proper respect. Do you understand if

  141. you are going home and you see a snake pass in front of you,

  142. you use that room for one month because you have proper respect that the snake

  143. can harm you. Amen. So in some sense, you honor a snake

  144. because you have high esteem that the snake has the ability to end your life,

  145. to unlive you. I hope you understand. So in that respect,

  146. honor means to show great respect and to value someone highly. And so by

  147. honoring someone, you are saying that you see great value in them. And

  148. then by honoring someone, you say that I see great value in this person.

  149. And so like we did on our father's birthday, we honored him telling

  150. him that we see great value in you. You are very valuable to us,

  151. and we esteem you highly. Ill we understand. So remember this that

  152. honor requires you to value someone, to respect someone, and to esteem the

  153. person highly. Amen. There are types of honor that many people overlook.

  154. Sometimes when we say honor, we just look at one type of honor.

  155. But there are three types of honor. There is bad honor, there is

  156. good honor, and there is internal honor. Amen, bad honor, good

  157. honor, and turn our honor. So what is bad honor? And because

  158. we don't differentiate between the types of honor, we confuse all the honor to

  159. be one. Amen. But the entrance of God's word brings light. So

  160. God is bringing light and understanding to you, so that you know when to

  161. apply the right owner. Amen. So bad honor is when a person is

  162. respected for the wrong reasons. When a person is respected for the wrong reasons.

  163. If Satawali comes to change today in the main uditorium, people will be

  164. looking at him and we ad marrying him, they will respect him for the

  165. wrong reasons. Janda said, So bad honor is when you respect someone for

  166. the wrong reasons. You get it. Yes. In addition to that,

  167. everybody has a se of difference between honor. All right, So you're seeing

  168. government ministers of states and members of parliament are called honorable. We honor them

  169. because of their position. But I guess what. Some people honor them only

  170. because they can give them fifty cities every time they see them. So that

  171. is a wrong reason to honor. So that is bad honor. The day

  172. that honorable decides that I don't have money again, but money is finished,

  173. you'll become this honorable, nobody will honor him again. Amen. And so

  174. bad honor is very important to note, and it's biblical. Amen. And

  175. so people acknowledge the status of officials, the acknowledge that starts off wear by

  176. honoring them. And like Reverend Chau says, in the Nigerian culture is when

  177. somebody's talling, somebody will lie down prostrates. Sometimes they honor people for the

  178. wrong reasons because of what they can get from the person. I tell you

  179. what. The moment the person turns around, they will saw the president in

  180. your big you are Johnderson. So the owner is for the wrong reason.

  181. So I want to give you a few examples of biblical examples of bad honor.

  182. And the first person we're going to use is King Nebukat Naser. He

  183. forced everyone to worship him. He forced everyone to honor him. He forced

  184. everyone to bow down and show obaisance to him, and so it became a

  185. form of idolatry and a false worship that was ascribed to him. Okay,

  186. So in Daniel, when you go and read Daniel chapter four, it's in

  187. there. So bad honor is a DeFi character of Barbylon in the Bible.

  188. All right, So bad honor is a defining character of Barbylon in the Bible.

  189. So any situation you find yourself where someone is forcing you to honor them.

  190. Watch, your output to them is bad. Honor, respect is and

  191. respect is not demanded. J understand. So honor is earned and not demanded.

  192. So, as a child of God, don't be forced into offering something

  193. that is not ideal for you in your heart. Can I hear an Amen?

  194. Amen? In second watchapter two, the's thirty. Let's sake, second

  195. watch of the two they're thirty. There was a high priest called Eli.

  196. And Eli had two sons. How many of you know the sons? I

  197. see one hand there, yes, the rest of you you didn't go to

  198. Sunday school? I see two hands. Yeah. Please don't ask anybody,

  199. don't google to don't ask alex Lese. Amen. Eli had two sons.

  200. Amen, are we a scripture coming? Or the Bible is of How many

  201. of you have your Bibles in church? A man, you should bring your

  202. Bible to church so that the day they did that Bible goes off. Then

  203. we still have a Bible to read. Amen. And so Eli and his

  204. sons they honored themselves by keeping the preferred sacrifices, but at the expense of

  205. despising God. Amen. In the Jewish culture, as far as pre students

  206. concerned, when you are coming to the house of God, they are supposed

  207. to bring a sacrifice, and they bring will, They will bring Karls and

  208. will bring good Eli and his sons. They took them the portion that you

  209. can use for boat, light suit and beef your off. That's just what

  210. they like. And by doing that they despise God. Amen. So they

  211. owned themselves that it despise God. So as a child of God, these

  212. are examples for you don't honor yourself too much that you despise God. By

  213. the amen and look. Chapter fourteen, verse seven to eight. Jesus told

  214. the Pharisees not to seek places of high honor at a feast, lest you'll

  215. be humiliated. So Jesus was telling them, when you go to a party,

  216. I mean when I go to a party, I don't like sitting in

  217. front. I don't like sitting at the high table. I will wait at

  218. the back until the thing has gone and nobody else is coming. Then I

  219. win sit. Because he said, this is wisdom that when you go and

  220. you go and sit at the high table, if there is someone who is

  221. more honorable than you, someone who is more esteemed than you, someone who

  222. is more respected than you, when they come their protocopy book come and say,

  223. oh please, please get up so that the man can sit down.

  224. Amen, and in on the chats in front are taken. Then Immans,

  225. you have to go to the back, and if you are a proud person,

  226. you say me, I'm going home. Yes, you'll be offended and

  227. you leave. Amen. So Jesus said that when you go to a party,

  228. don't seek to go to set on the high table, because when someone

  229. more honorable comes, it would take your seat. Amen. You know why

  230. I like standing at the back so much so that the seat can be empty

  231. for when someone more honorable comes. Do you know why it's so easy for

  232. me to get up from the seats so that when someone more honorable comes,

  233. he can sit down. Amen? So this is wisdom for you. Don't

  234. seek to sit on the high team. But when they invite you to flash

  235. the house for dinner, don't sit on the chair that president a good will

  236. sit on, because when he comes, they will remove you and put him

  237. there. Can I hear an Amen? In your house, your daddy has

  238. a chair he sits on. In some homes daddy has a particular Don't sit

  239. on daddy's check during dinner. When Daddy comes, you will get up.

  240. Amen. Don't go sit on my mischair. Look for your own chair.

  241. Someone coller and sit down, because that will be more honorable for you.

  242. Can I hear an Amen? Amen? And so Paul in Philippians chapter three

  243. mess nineteen, please give Philippians three nineteen, he said of his opponents,

  244. they are glory is they are shame. So when you glory yourself, it

  245. can become shame to you. Amen. So whose end is distraction? Whose

  246. God is their belly? And whose glory is their shame? Who sets their

  247. minds or deadly things? Jonathan, So when you glory yourself, when you

  248. honor yourself too much, when you overhype yourself, it can bring you to

  249. a place of shame. Amen. This is just a background. So that's

  250. what bad honor. Now take the examples for good honor. So Bible speaks

  251. positively about being an honorable person in the eyes of other people. As a

  252. child of God, who is brought by the precious blood of Jesus, who

  253. is recreated in the image and in the likeness of God, you are supposed

  254. to walk and be like Jesus. Jesus was honorable. There is no mention

  255. in history or throughout the Bible where they said Jesus went to do color bully,

  256. or where Jesus told somebody speak, or where Jesus loves somebody. You

  257. understand Jesus was honorable. So as a child of God, it should be

  258. said of you that you are honorable. Though you are not an empy,

  259. you should be called honorable. Do you understand your nature and your virtue should

  260. exsuit that of an honorable person. When we mention your name, it should

  261. not be said, Hold, this guy is a folle night guy. You're

  262. tricky right now? Do you understand they shouldn't say that. Oh, this

  263. person is a liar. He can't speak the truth. This is an art

  264. by this guy. He says snack. He's a comeleon. He's like this,

  265. he's like that. He's like this. You show you like this or

  266. you think you are Charlie. Now you change like this, You're like Charlie?

  267. Are you either? Say person? Do you understand be honorable as a

  268. child to go be straight? The Bible says that be straight. When you

  269. are known to be black, be black. Amen. When you are white,

  270. be white. Don't be calice callis. Do you understand, be straight,

  271. be honorable, because that is what God requires of us. Can I

  272. an amen? Amen? So take first we touch up that to Vers twelve,

  273. if we can have that on the screen quickly, First Bitter to Vers

  274. twelve, firstwitter to West twelve, which talks about conduct and says, are

  275. having your conduct honorable give us more youicle than you live? In translation modern

  276. English, yes, So be careful to live properly among unbelieving neighbors. Be

  277. careful to live properly, which also means that may let your conduct be honorable

  278. in the midst of unbelievers. Because if you are to lead people who don't

  279. know Jesus to Jesus and you yourself, you are not honorable. What example

  280. are they looking at to tend to your God? Do you understand? Then,

  281. even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable

  282. behavior. Amen. Do you know there are people called false accusers accusers of

  283. the Brethren. As you are growing, you meet them. Do you understand?

  284. Yes, As you start working you will meet them. As you start

  285. marrying, you will meet them. They are called accusers of the Brethren.

  286. And how you overcome accusers of the Brethren is by living an honorable life,

  287. so that after they have accused you and accused you and taking you into courts,

  288. when they get to courts, only one witness will come and say that,

  289. ah, this person is an honorable person, and the kids we made

  290. foolish case. I hear me, be honorable so that your accusers will not

  291. have pre eminence over you, Amen, and they will give all not to

  292. God when he judges the whole will because of your honorable nature, they will

  293. give honor to God. Amen. Me. I have been accused of so

  294. many things I can't even mention. I have been reported, I've been accused

  295. to have finally actual shop many times, and you'll call me and you'll bless

  296. me, and I say, oh, sorry Meali, I don't know what's

  297. very on. And then I'll go and then we occup guides, and then

  298. eventually they'll find out actually they think they're saying is not true. Amen.

  299. So be honorable so your works will speak for you. Please preach your neighbor.

  300. Tell them be honorable, so your works will preach for you. Amen.

  301. And so Park took the pains to be honorable not only in the eyes

  302. of God, but also in the eyes of men. Do you understand not

  303. only in the eyes of God, but in the eyes of men. So

  304. take the second Garridians, Chapter eight, verse twenty one US reference. He

  305. maintained an honorable output, an honorable attitude. You get it not only in

  306. the eyes of God, but in the eyes of men. So don't be

  307. a pretender who only pretends when you come to church. But when you are

  308. outside of church, there is nothing honorable going for you. Amen. Don't

  309. be a pretender, be straight, be one in the eyes of God and

  310. in the eyes of men, that I hear an amen. Amen. So,

  311. the Book of Proverbs, which is the book of Wisdom, contains many

  312. verses about ending a good name or honor for yourself. All right, for

  313. a wise living, good honor is part of God's common grace for people who

  314. live wisely and respect others. So take these scriptures down for reference. Proverbs

  315. after twelve US eight, give me problems twelve vers eight, and then you

  316. can take the rest right Proverbs chapter thirteen vers eighteen, Proverbs Chapter fifteen,

  317. verse thirty three, Proverbs Chapter twenty one, verse twenty one, Proverbs Chapter

  318. twenty two verse four, Proverbs Chapter twenty seven vers. Eighteen, And so

  319. Proverbs chapter eight, twelve, vers. Eight says that a sensible person wins

  320. admiration. So give me the new King James version for this one. There's

  321. a particular way I'm looking for. A man will be commended according to his

  322. wisdom, but he who is perfessed, who is of a perversed heart,

  323. will be despised. Do you understand this wisdom? For you? When you

  324. walk according to wisdom, you will be commended, you will be honored.

  325. But if your heart is perversed, you will be despised. Can I hear

  326. an amen? Amen? And the final point for good honor, being an

  327. honorable and respectable person in a community is a key qualification in the local church.

  328. So give me Firstimothy chapter three, verse seven to eight. First Timothy,

  329. Chapter three, ver. Seven to eight. You can't just get up

  330. and say that I want to be a leader of a change. I want

  331. to be a leader in a change. And then there should be a track

  332. record of you having a good testimony among those who are outside. There should

  333. be a good testimony about you. When we come to your whole, your

  334. neighborhood, and we ask, oh, who is Tiffinity, they should say

  335. that, oh, that tifinitely bit a widow. No no, no,

  336. they should say those bad things bad name definitely the troublesome girl in the fighting

  337. with everybody. No no, no no. You should have a good testimony

  338. among those who are ours, un lest he fall into approach and the snare

  339. of the devil. So there should be good testimony about you as a child

  340. of God and end. And so it turn our honor. It turned our

  341. honor. That is what every child of God should seek. How many of

  342. you know that Jesus is coming again, and it's coming for the children of

  343. God, the sons and daughters of the mossycho And based on our good works.

  344. The Bible says that God is not unrighteous to forget our labor of love

  345. and of our good works. Right, our good works will attract it turn

  346. our honor for us. When Jesus comes, it takes us to heaven.

  347. We will go and come back and reign on the earth for one thousand years.

  348. And during that one thousand years, those who have been faithful to the

  349. Lord and to his course will be honored greatly. Some will be governess over

  350. one city, some will be governess over ten cities, some will be governess

  351. over twenty cities. Some will be governess o our continents that will show the

  352. level of honor that God will be stolen on you. Amen. So seek

  353. eternal honor, Amen above earthly honor. Proverabs Chapter twenty one, Best twenty

  354. one. Proverabs twenty one Best twenty one. He who follows righteousness and mercy

  355. finds what life, righteousness, and what honor. He who follows righteousness and

  356. mess see finds life, righteousness, and honor. In MATTERW Chapter six,

  357. verse thirty three, the Bible says that but seek year first, the kingdom

  358. of God and his righteousness. If you seek righteousness, the righteousness of God,

  359. and you seek the messes of God, you will find life. You

  360. will find life, You will find righteousness, and you will find honor.

  361. Amen. And so it doesn't matter where you were born. You could have

  362. been born in so to own the backside of zoom. Amen. You could

  363. have been living in a single bedroom on the floor. You could have gone

  364. to site to all your life. You could have not even gone to university.

  365. You know, it doesn't matter who you are. If you seek the

  366. kingdom of God first and his righteousness, you will find life. Amen.

  367. The Bible says that this is the testimony God has given to us. That

  368. God has given us eternal life. And this life is in his son Jesus.

  369. And he who has the Son has life, and he who does not

  370. have the Son does not have life. So when you seek God and you

  371. find him, you will find that you have life. Amen. And the

  372. life of God has the ability to transform your life. Amen, that it

  373. will change you. You are probably born in a place of great Dishonor do

  374. you know why Jesus became poor? When they said that Andrew Given said,

  375. I've met the Lord his brand said, can anything would come out of Nazareth?

  376. So it's a place of Dishonor. When Jesus went back to Nazareth,

  377. he says, a prophet is without honor here. They don't honor anybody there.

  378. Amen. So even the great miracles Jesus did, he couldn't do much

  379. there because they don't There is nothing honorable. Day. But guess what,

  380. Jesus became poor so that you can be honorable. Amen, So that you

  381. can be honorable. Amen. So that you can be honorable, So that

  382. you can be honorable, so that you knew you you can be honorable,

  383. that when you walk into a room. You don't know anybody there, but

  384. for the simple reason that you are honorable in the sight of God, people

  385. are called your respect. Amen. A friend of mine was getting married at

  386. p I Do b C. I used to go to p Ido bus when

  387. I was younger. It was the person I was living with used to go

  388. there and on the on the this thing, the program line up. He

  389. wanted me to give a scripture, so they mentioned my na. I was

  390. in reverend and I was pastor then, so they mentioned my name. And

  391. when I got up and I was going, I remember I was wearing the

  392. same thing. When I was going on the person, they stood up and

  393. everyoney stood up, and I was like, oh wow. I was so

  394. happy, and I was like, hey, God, is this how you

  395. can honor man? Amen? And when I took the microphone and I was

  396. reading the script they were on listening. And when I finished and I said

  397. say amen, they all shouted a man, when you see gold, you

  398. will find life, you will find righteousness, and you will find honor.

  399. Amen. So if you want to be honored in this life, the only

  400. prescribed pattern is to seek God. Amen, Because when you seek him find

  401. all that and he speak, oh can you clap your hands for Jesus.

  402. Amen. And so now let me give you douars all introduction. Let me

  403. give you the main means of my message this morning. Amen. The dimensions

  404. of honor. Amen, the dimensions of honor. Pleasus, put that on

  405. for me. So is he the cross. The cross represents the altar for

  406. the greatest sacrifice ever made in humanity, because on the Cross of Calvary,

  407. that Roman cross, the son of God, who is God, shared his

  408. precious blood on that cross. Amen, and his blood speaks, and he

  409. speaks better things. And ever since Jesus shared this blood over twenty twenty four

  410. years ago, the blood of Jesus still speaks. So the cross is the

  411. greatest sacrifice. And that is why when even you are dreaming and you are

  412. being attacked and you call the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus has

  413. the power to save, because the Bible says that the name of the Lord

  414. is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe. Amen.

  415. And so the cross, if you look at the cross, it has

  416. the longer beam and then the beam across. So there's the vertical being and

  417. then there's a horizontal being. Amen. And when you look at honor from

  418. this dimension, you appreciate honor for what it is. Amen. And so

  419. the vertical dimension of honor, which it goes up and it comes down,

  420. So honor is not just a one way streets. No, honor goes up

  421. and comes down. And so the upward honor is first honor for God,

  422. honor for God. Some people we spoke about the definition of honor to demonstrate

  423. high respect and esteem breaking someone. Some people don't respect God, they don't

  424. value God. So when they come to church they have this la adassical attitude

  425. that they come to church with. It is a lack of respect for the

  426. things of God. Amen. Oh I said, Amen. I know some

  427. of you don't eat before you come to church, especially the first service people.

  428. But it is no reason to dispond not God. Amen. Do you

  429. know Jesus fast as forty days and forty nights, so you not eating two

  430. hours and you want to die? Amen, So show proper respect to God

  431. first. In morete one seventeen, take the scriptures down some twenty two,

  432. so give me some twenty two west twenty three, some twenty two West twenty

  433. three. We honor God when we come into the present when you hear of

  434. God, you should tremble because God is highly esteem Amen. And the marble

  435. says that you will fear the Lord praise him. So you see, even

  436. before we come and we're start saying it, I'm gonna dance and praise,

  437. and you don't thinking like I'm God and dance and praise like somebody's forcing you.

  438. He says, fear those who fear God mass word, praise him.

  439. All your designants of Jacob, glorify him and fear him or offspring of Israel.

  440. So come to God with fear and trembling, with a high level of

  441. respect, because God can end your life today. If he says that your

  442. breath is and you I'm taking it now, you are gone. You are

  443. a ghost. Do you understand? Yes, So he is the one who

  444. has the ability to end you and all your descendants in just one second.

  445. Have proper respect for him. Amen. Please go back to the slide,

  446. and then let's look at Festival chapter one, verse seventeen quickly, so I'll

  447. try and rush through all of this in the next five minutes. Festimothy chapter

  448. one, verse seventeen, and he says that now onto the King, eternal,

  449. immortal, These are the credentials of God. Now onto the King eternal.

  450. God is eternal, He is immortal. God is on killable, on

  451. diable. You can't dethrone God. Amen, invisible the only wise God.

  452. So if the Bible says that God is the only wise God, enemies,

  453. all other gods are words, You're not paying attention. I'm saying that if

  454. the family saying that God is the only wise God, then he means that

  455. all other gods are words. They are very foolish. Amen. He says

  456. that be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. So you come to

  457. God and show him what proper honor and proper respect. Amen. You cannot

  458. come to church, the place where God is be smoothing some boy in the

  459. corner. Do you understand you cannot be in the presence of the Lord and

  460. be texting some girls some wild things. Do you understand you can't be in

  461. church and be thinking of some scene you were watching last night? Why you

  462. are in change because you think God can't see your head. God sees through

  463. your brain. He knows what is going on in your head. It is

  464. a sign of great dishonor to God. Amen. You can't be in church

  465. where the word of God, which is valuable, that has the ability to

  466. change your life, is being preached to you, and you are sleeping.

  467. Please take a picture of this boy for me. Where's my phone? Amen?

  468. You cannot be doing it where. It's a sign of word. It

  469. is a sign of great dishonor to who to God. Amen. We know

  470. that some of you you don't respect past this. I'll come to that.

  471. But it is a sign of word, great dishonor to God, because I

  472. mean, you are telling God that you don't value this world that word.

  473. Your sleep is more importance to you. Do you understand? Please go back

  474. to this life. So take your time and go through this. Go through

  475. the scriptures, all right. The next vertical dimension of honor is honor for

  476. parents ecce twenty west wealth quickly exceus twenty westwealth. Honor for parents exceduce twenty

  477. vest wealth. There are some of you here. When your parents tell you,

  478. hey, do this, do this, Then you do your mouth long

  479. like trump or trot row. You do your mouth long when you open your

  480. mouth to talk. The only thing that the first way that comes with bad

  481. when you open your mind, no bads or bats, Mammy bad but because

  482. your house, they don't slap you, so your hosea bats. It's a

  483. sign of greats honor. The Bible says that honor your father and your mother,

  484. then you will live long. It looks like many of you don't want

  485. to live long. You want to be buried before you are twenty years.

  486. Hey, you don't want to live beyond seven years. This is the word

  487. of the Lord that you will live long, full of life in the land

  488. the Lord, your God is giving you. Amen. So if you choose

  489. not to, you don't want to live long. This continued dishonnoring your parents,

  490. because there's the outcome is pretty timid. Amen. And do you know

  491. why you need to take this seriously? Because this is a direct command from

  492. God. This is a direct command from God. And because God is a

  493. sovereign king, every word he speaks is law. And when you go against

  494. the law, you trespass the law. And when you trespass the law,

  495. there are consequences for trespassing God's command. Amen. So one other upward dimension

  496. of honor is honoring for parents. Amen. Now, parents might not necessarily

  497. be a biological parents, because there are many who are not fortunately to live

  498. with biological parents. You may be living with some auntie, You may be

  499. living with some uncle, some cousin, sister, brother. Honor them,

  500. stepfather, stepmother. Honor them. Do you understand even when they are more

  501. treating you, tell God that, yes, Lord, I'm suffering all this,

  502. but I want to honor them. Do you understand me? I've lived

  503. with multiple people. If I tell you my story, you ope your with

  504. your mouth or drop. I've lived with made me many people. Because my

  505. parents were just all over the place. You just dropped me. We will

  506. we've just been there going on. They will enter this us and they will

  507. just drop me. I know, I have a bag in the gutu who

  508. just dropped me? And you're gone like two years later and then you show

  509. up. But you need to learn honor. You get it. And many

  510. of them more treated me. They mo treated me. And now when they

  511. see they can't look at me. They can't look at me in the face.

  512. Do you understand When they see me coming, they want the head to

  513. open so they disappear. If there's another chance, they will just pass the

  514. other way. I met one of them at the airport. He was coming

  515. to Colley. Something he saw he was standing far away. He couldn't come

  516. close. So I went and took the thing to him. They said hello,

  517. Hell, and they way, when you honor people, God will honor

  518. you. Do you understand? Yes, when you honor people God, when

  519. you honor your parents, God will honor you. And guess what, any

  520. and everything you are doing is a seed. So if you decide that you

  521. dishonor your parents, guess what you also have children? Oh? Yes,

  522. and you see the thing with the seed is that you plant just one seed,

  523. but it comes out with many fruits. So your level of this honor

  524. will be multiple exponential. Yes, there would this honor your left right center

  525. you. Now you'll be perplexed every flabergaste because the honor that this honor would

  526. be great. Amen. So honor your parents so that God will honor you.

  527. Amen. Number three upward. Dimension of honor is honor for those in

  528. authority. Honor those in authority. Honor those that have been set in authority

  529. over you. Amen. When you go to school and you go and meet

  530. some small boys, some ugly man, he's your mathematics teacher. If you

  531. like, say I don't like your own respect, you fail. It doesn't

  532. matter who has been set over you. Honor your responsibilities to show honor and

  533. respect. Amen. By or pain and honoring, God will bless you and

  534. God will honor you too. Amen. So honor those in authority. It

  535. doesn't matter that your father supports a different political party when your parents are insulting

  536. their people, knowing is, don't join them to insult them. Are you

  537. hearing me, Oh, don't join them to insult them. Honor them.

  538. The Bible says that pray for those in authority, because if you don't want

  539. to the mar can you pray for them? You cannot. Amen. And

  540. the fourth one, which is the final one of the vertical upward dimension of

  541. honor, is honor for the elderly. Leveticos, chapter nineteen, verse thirty

  542. two. Let's look at this quickly. Leveticos, chapter ninety, verse thirty

  543. two. Honor the elderly, Honor the elderly. What does the Bible says?

  544. The Bible says that thou shall and says that you shall rise before the

  545. gray headed honor in the presence of the old man. Amen. Do you

  546. know why when the archbishop walks in here, we all stand up. It's

  547. a sign of honor. Amen. So when you are seated and your pastors

  548. walking, what do you do? You stand up? It shows what honor?

  549. Amen? What is honor? To show respect, great respect, and

  550. highly esteem someone. You get it? Yes, So when your past is

  551. walking, you rise up. Just two seconds of rising up will not kill

  552. you to show what honor? So you shall rise before they're gray headed,

  553. and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God, I

  554. am the Lord. This is another command. This is another command. When

  555. we're growing up, they tell you that when you see an old person,

  556. you greet. So those days when I close from school and I'm going,

  557. if I meet thousand old people, our great greets are good good after you

  558. said good afternoon, you greet and don't say, oh, good aftern How

  559. are you someone who'll stop and will have a chat with you? Do you

  560. know why nobody's chatting with you because you don't greet. Yes, you don't

  561. greed. You don't know how to greet when you're coming. You just walk

  562. like your walking self is not nice. You don't greet. Show honor.

  563. When you meet see an elderly person, say hello, good morning. Do

  564. you understand say good morning, good afternoon? Be conscious of it. Know

  565. there's seasons and time. No, when is morning? Some of you don't

  566. like watch because you don't know that time. No when to say good morning,

  567. no when to say good afternoon. Greets say hello. Amen, it

  568. is a sign of what honor. Don't be a moon. Do you know

  569. who a move is? A person who doesn't talk. You are not a

  570. so greed when you see someone, you see a human being standing there,

  571. then you walk, You do your neck like that, you walk. Sure.

  572. Meanwhile, there's a human being standing there who is more honorable than you.

  573. But you're not greed. Amen. So from today, tell your neighbor

  574. we are changing. We are not going to be moo anymore. Amen.

  575. I see some people are not saying it's you know what is a sign of

  576. pride? Tell your neighbor for free. We are changing. We are not

  577. going to be mooo anymore. Amen. So let's look at one more scripture

  578. for honor for the elderly, which is the dimension of honor for church leaders

  579. church leaders, First Timothy, chapter five, verse seventeen. First Timothy,

  580. chapter five, verse seventeen. Festimo they five seventeen. Quickly before we do

  581. something very important, and I bring my message to a clause. Amen,

  582. Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of what double honor. Let

  583. the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who

  584. labor in the word and in doctrine. Amen. When there is someone who

  585. labors in the world of God to teach you God's word, so you understand

  586. what the Bible is saying. Poor to Timothy and said to him, let

  587. that person be worthy of what double honor? So the type of honor you

  588. think you know? He says double it? Can I earn? Amen?

  589. So it's not about I like this person, I don't like four. As

  590. long as they are imparting knowledge to you, it is your responsibility, as

  591. a child of God to give to them honor. Can I hear an Amen?

  592. Amen? So that is the upward dimension of honor. All right,

  593. let me give you quickly the downward dimension of honor, and then I'll leave

  594. the rest to you to go and study, or maybe on Tuesday night to

  595. look at that. Amen. So downward dimension of honor first, and watch

  596. of the two verse thirty God honest those who honor him. God, what

  597. honest those who honor Him first? And much of the two vers thirty.

  598. Therefore, the Lord God of Israel says, I am indeed that your house

  599. and the house of your father would walk before me forever. But now the

  600. Lord says, far be from me. Those of you who think that God

  601. cannot change his mind. You you are mistaken. Listen. God is sovereign.

  602. He can't change his mind today. Because when the children of Israel wanted

  603. a king, they choose, He gave them soul. He says that it

  604. is me they have rejected. Amen. And he made a promise to Soul

  605. that I will establish you and your father's house forever. But guess what,

  606. Saul did not honor God, and so God decided, I've changed my mind.

  607. I am God. No one can't do anything about it me. I've

  608. changed my mind. And see, if God had not changed my David would

  609. have knows to the chance. So if God has to change his mind so

  610. that some of us can get opportunity, Amen, Because someone who dishonor God,

  611. you honor God and you have opportunity. How many of you have head

  612. of firsty and Esther, Esther, who vastly dishonored and He created room for

  613. Esther. Amen. So when you're praying bread. A Lord, let those

  614. who like dishonnorer, let them dishonor so that I can enter, Amen,

  615. so that I can honor you. So you see that. But now the

  616. Lord says, family for me, For those who honor me, I will

  617. honor all those who are talking. Estan on your feet, all those thisays

  618. the word, All those who honor me, I will honor. We are

  619. in church. If you say that, I means you're lying. So stand.

  620. If you know you're talking, stand, All those who do what who

  621. honor me, I will honor. So when you honor God, God honor

  622. you. Amen. When you honor God and you're go and pray for somebody

  623. who is sick, God honor you through your prayer. Amen. They will

  624. not see you as a fake Christian because God will perform his way through you,

  625. and what honor is way through you. Amen. Can we clap for

  626. the two ladies. Amen. We are preaching together, So standing, Amen,

  627. let me do on more Scripture Proverbs step to twenty two vers four.

  628. Proverbs stop to twenty two vers four. It says that by humility and the

  629. fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life. By humility, it

  630. is only people who are humble who can honor Amen, because proud people don't

  631. honor nobody. Proud people they don't have respect for no Nato. Amen.

  632. It is only with humility that you can honor. It is only with humility

  633. that yes, you are doing Cambridge I I G. Yes, whatever,

  634. whatever, whatever, and your mother went to sign for Amen. It is

  635. only with humility that you can honor your mother. Your grandmother did not go

  636. to school. It is only with humility that you can honor your grandmother.

  637. Amen. It is only with humanity. There's a there's a pastor somewhere somewhere

  638. over at the other side. He's English, where it's good at all.

  639. Why where is preaching is when he's talking about her, saying she, When

  640. he says she, he say he. But guess what, he's judgeous forum

  641. because people honor him. Do you understand. When he's preaching and he makes

  642. me say they know he had a mistake. That is a sign of great

  643. honor, johnderstand. And if you're going to tell you your pater Grid doesn't

  644. know, they'll beat you because they honor their pastor very much. Amen.

  645. So, by humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor,

  646. and life. How many of you want to be rich in this life?

  647. Amen? You want to be rich, You want to see plenty money.

  648. The secret is to be humble. The secret is to honor. Amen.

  649. And by honoring and fearing God, God will give you account money that your

  650. grandparents have not seen before. Amen. You will sign a check that in

  651. your whole blood line no body has signed that check before. You will be

  652. the first person to sign one hundred thousand dollars check. Sure, Then you

  653. pay one million dollars Jack. Then you pay Do you understand it is only

  654. by honor, by humility, and by the fear of God. Amen.

  655. And so I want to advise you that from today, choose to honor God.

  656. Amen. Choose to honor those that God have set upon you. Choose

  657. to honor your parents, Amen. Choose to honor the elderly. Choose to

  658. honor your pastors, those that God has set where you are laboring to teach

  659. God's word. Amen. And finally, the side one, the horizontal one,

  660. is honor for one another. Honor one another. And I'll give you

  661. just one scripture for that honoring others, honoring others. So honor others,

  662. Amen, Honor others beyond yourself. Honor others more than you think on others.

  663. Amen. Honor people. When you come to church and you sit down,

  664. there's somebody's show honor to the person by saying hello. Amen. Don't

  665. just sit down like there's a ghost visiting by you. But show honor to

  666. others. And by doing this, I can promise you that a year from

  667. now, if you practice this diligently, your life will not be the same.

  668. Amen. You'll be a better version of yourself, and you'll be a

  669. darling boy in your house. You'll be a darling girl in your house,

  670. in your whole neighborhood. When people want wisdom, it is you they will

  671. come to. Amen. Please rise and stand on your feet for more.

  672. Amen. Thank you. So I just want to dwell quickly on honor for

  673. parents. When you dison pay, when you dishonor your parents, it attracts

  674. a case jigami because you contravene or you disobey a direct command from God.

  675. So it brings a case on you. There are many people here who are

  676. working with the kids hanging over their heads, but they don't know it because

  677. they have dishonored their parents. If you are here, you have dishonored your

  678. parents. That the thing has paid your parents. Some people can dishonor their

  679. parents and their parents will cry. Do you get it? Yes? If

  680. you know you have dishonored your parents, and you know that what you did

  681. was hurtful, that if it was done to you, it will bring pain

  682. to you, please come let me pray for you. Quickly. Come.

  683. If you have dishonored your parents. You have dishonored your mother, You have
