Kingdom Service - Reverend Francis Owren 2nd June 2024

How many of you have experienced the goodness of the Lord in the past week

that you want to testify about his goodness. If you are here, you

have a testimony about God's goodness and you want to testify, Please come to

me in the front. Come to me in the front. Come and give

a testimony to glorify God this morning. Amen. Anyone else coming with a

testimony, anyone with their testimony or those other back. You don't have testimonies,

nobody, those are the back, no testimony. Amen. Having a

testimony is a sign that you are overcoming. Amen, as a child of

God. In Revelations chapter twelve is eleven, the Bible says that they overcame

him by the blood of the lamp and by the word of their testimony.

Amen. In First John five ten, the Bible says that this is the

testimony God has given to us, that He has given us eternal life.

And this eternal life is if His Sanjesus Christ. So those who have the

Son of God have eternal life. How many of you have Jesus. Can

you give the Lord away? If you have Jesus, then it means you

have eternal life. And the result of it is that you should have a

testimony. Amen. Find our call anyone with a testimony before we take our

brother even's testimony. Amen, tell us what God has done for you.

Tell us your name, and tell us what God has done for you.

the time to receive the word of God. Amen. Please tell your neighbor

for free, the word of God changes lives. Please tell your other neighbor

the word of God can't change your life. Amen. So it is time

to receive the word of God. And because we honor the word of God

Today the Lord has prepared a special savant one of the passes of the next

are grateful for gathering us here also to hear your word of Lord. Father.

We pray thank you this morning that you've kept us. You've kept us,

You've kept us. Father. The sickness is that some people died out

of Father. It happened to us, but you kept us alive, just

by your messus and by your grace. You just want to say thank you

Lord this morning. We say thank you Lord this morning. We said thank

you Lord this morning for the gift of life. It means we are still

keeping us alive. It means there's a paper for which you are still keeping

my family. Oh Lord, I thank you for your protection and for

preservation of the blood of Jesus. This year, Old Lord, I decree

and declare that in the name of Jesus, that my life and the life

of my love was my family, that change. None of us will be

used as a sacrificial land for any selfish individuals that are secret power in the

name of Jesus, even during this election year, in the name of Jesus,

that none of us, none of us, will be used by the

Lord. Will deliver us from all forms of accidents on the highways, on

the byways, in the air, on land, on water, will decreet

preservation. This year they will live. We shall not die. Why we

shall live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Say, I shall not die. I shall live to the claim the

goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. In the name of

of the Lord that says for God has not given us the spirits of fear

I enforce the power, the sound mind and the love of God over my

tell on the person telling the best that this year the Lord that we say

would give us testimonies in our lives, consenting our family, education, in

every area of our lives, there will be testimonies, tangible testimonies in the

name of Jesus. Actually, do believe it. Then give the Lord a

This morning tea about you our life for a purpose. God is still

keeping you alive for a purpose. And because of that we will share the

testimony together and glorify the name of our Lord in Jesus' name. Now look

morning, Oh given us the opportunity to hear His word. And I'm privilege

to be standing back before you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, to

share the word of the Lord. Amen, I am very blessed and privilege.

It's not by right, but it's by privilege to share the word of

the Lord. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the gospel that has eternity,

is beyond this eth. It is only through the word of the Lord that

you can receive that Hallelujah. Any other thing is just for here, turning,

but any other thing is just for here in this life. It's just

for here, but for the Word of the Lord. It gives us access

to eternity even after here. Hallelujah. A man, wow, this money.

I like to share a very short message with all of us and believe

that the Holy Spirit will minister to all of us and give us understanding and

know who we are as children of God. Amen. I'm going to share

on in them service Kingdom service, turning it by Kingdom service. Yeah,

we're going to talk about that this morning. We are going to talk about

the benefits of serving in the House of the Lord or doing something for God

Kingdom service, hallelujah, or the benefits of it and why we serve and

the blessing that comes with serving the Lord or doing something for the Lord.

Hallelujah. Amen. So it is a requirement for every believer, you know,

and it's a covenant for every believer to give service to the Lord as

long as we are here on the earth as believers and children of God.

We are representing God here on earth to bring service to His Kingdom. Amen.

So whatever that we do here, it's a service that we are rendering

to God. We are representing God. Amen. So if somebody is sent

out of this country to another, the person is not there on his own,

but the person has become an ambassador. Is it correct? Is it

correct? So the person has become an ambassador of this country in that place.

So you and I belong to a kingdom which is the Kingdom of God.

Amen. So you and I belong to a kingdom which is the Kingdom

of God. So if it belonged to a kingdom, it means they are

rules that governs the kingdom and what God expects you and I to be doing.

Likewise, when you are an ambassador here from another country, they are

rules that governs this country. So they are certain things you cannot do.

You are not expected to be doing certain things as an ambassador from other country

in here, or you're from here to another country. Hallelujah. Are you

with me? Yes? So it governs whatever you do an activity that you

do. So, once you belong to the Kingdom of God, there are

things that God expects you and I to be doing. So this morning we

are just going to stay on a particular point. There are other things,

but this morning we are just looking at Kingdom service. Kingdom service. Amen.

There are other things that we can look at. But this morning,

for the purpose of our discussion or sharing of the gospel, we are looking

at kingdom service. Amen. Yeah, it's a great blessing to be in

the house of the Lord. Yeah. One of the things that I believe

that we can do as children of God in bringing service to the Lord.

Number One prayer praying, praying for the lost souls. Praying for the lost

souls. You don't have to be here to do that, but in your

closet you pray the Lord save the lost souls, because Jesus said, for

the son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was Lord

lost. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which

is lost. So your prayer can save somebody to the house of the Lord.

Your prayer can deliver somebody from going to hell. Your prayer can deliver

somebody from accidents. Your prayer can deliver somebody from excelling hallelujah. So your

prayer should be a prayer praying that the kingdom of the Lord will be done

and his will will be done. Praying that the souls who don't know the

Lord yet may they come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. So your prayer

is a service that you are giving to the Lord. You are not only

in praying for yourself. But because you are an ambassador of Christ here on

the earth. So whatever concerns him must concern you as a believer and as

a child of God. So whatever you do, whether you're sing, whether

you dance, whether you ussher, whatever you do in the house of the

Lord, it's a service that you are doing onto God. You are an

ambassador here representing Heaven. You are an ambassador here representing Heaven. Amen.

So you're representing Heaven here on the earth. So it is important. That's

why in Matthew six from these thirty you like to read quickly marchw chapter six

from these thirty Matthew chapter six from best thirty. Can we have it?

Oh, I guess read it from here. So the Bible says, Okay,

Now, if God so close the grass of the field, which today

is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe

you or you of little oye, of little faith. Let's go Therefore,

do not worry saying what shall we eat, or what shall we drink?

Or what shall we wear? Thirty two For all, for after all these

things, the gentle sick for you. For your heavenly Father knows that you

need all these things thirty three, but sick first the Kingdom of God and

his righteousness, and all these things shall be added onto you. Hallelujah.

So everything that you need, God knows that you have need of them,

the clothes, the shoes, the gadgets, the things that you need.

God is that where he knows that you have need of them. But in

order to give service to him, he said, seek ye the Kingdom of

God first, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added onto

you. So any other thing, they are all. They are part of

the other things that will be added. But the first, and as a

believer and as a child of God you must seek for is his kingdom.

And how do you seek for His kingdom? Being conserned about how what is

done in his house, your consent about how things are done in his house,

your consent about the souls that are not yet in praying for others,

inviting addess to the house of the Lord. If you cannot go, your

prayer can also go. Hallelujah. So praying for others is seeking the Lord.

Seeking the Kingdom of God first, and is righteousness. Reaching out to

add us is seeking. That's an aspect of service that you are doing to

God. Hallelujah. Amen, Because as long as you are representing God here

on earth, he requires certain things from you. So living a righteous life

is also a service, a requirement of you as a child of God.

All of us. Amen. Amen. Oh, are you here? Okay,

be here, don't go away. He says that sik first the Kingdom

of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I pray that the Lord will add all the other things that you require

in Jesus name as you seek Him first. Can I hear an amen?

Yeah. So, in order for you to seek the Lord first, one

of the things that you have to do, even though the Lord has said

it, you have to number one. Obey. Without obedience, you cannot

seek the Kingdom of God. Without obedience, you cannot seek the Kingdom of

God or do what God require of us as believers, as children of God.

The Lord said, we should seek him first. But if you do

not obey, you cannot give that service to God. In obedience. Been

praying for somebody, the salvation of somebody, inviting somebody to the house of

the Lord, encouraging somebody singing in the House of the Lord is ministering to

the Lord. Hallelujah. Let me give you an example of Jonah Jona.

God send Jonah to go to Nineveh to preach to that country, to that

nation. But he was so afraid and he didn't want to go. He

was running away disobedience, even though God said we should say his kingdom face.

But because of disobedience, he almost lost his life. He almost lost

his life. He was thrown into the sea. The will also coming to

swallow him into his belly. He could have died. But all this God

still wanted him to do the assignment that he has sent him to do.

But because of disobedience, he almost lost his life. But I pray for

you that asked for you and I that with God is laying on your heart

to do, you will not disobey. By you do because He said who

you seek his kingdom face and his righteousness, and all other things shall be

added. It is my prayer that you and I will not disobey the word

of the Lord, will not disobey his instruction, his command for you and

I. Hallelujah, Amen. Yeah, it is my prayer that none of

us would disobey, and God will not force you. He will not force

you, but he would tell you the benefits of seeking his kingdom and giving

service to his house. They are rewards as you serve the Lord. They

are rewards and their benefits as you serve the Lord. Hallelujah, Amen.

I want to tell you about a story about a man who was serving the

Lord and was in the ministry at the point as a layperson. Layperson and

somebody who works and then not in full time, but works and serve the

Lord. At a point in his life, his work will consume him so

much that he couldn't really build his relationship with the Lord. So I don't

know which area you were, maybe yours, maybe your life, your education,

or your work that is to consume you so much that your relationship with

God. You can't even build your relationship with the Lord that you cannot give

him the service required. So this very man that I'm talking about for he

lost his job at the point. He's a family man, he has kids.

But for a whole year, I think I told this story to some

people yesterday, for a whole year he was no working. He was not

working, he was no working. But during that period of his life,

it was the time that his relationship with the Lord was even would be able

to build up. And he really was able to connect back to the Lord

because he was far away. He was very fat away. The things that

he used to do for God, he was not able to do them anymore.

He was not able to do it as God wants him to do.

So he was very far away from the Lord. He couldn't give render the

service that God required from him. So within that year he lends the hard

way and he built that relationship with that within that year and even after that

year. The following year, God gave him a job which was even paying

more than the one he was having because God wanted his attention. God wanted

him to save him by other things, ad things like we said, seek

efirst the Kingdom of God, and all these things should be added. So

the other things was taking his attention from saving the Lord. But when God

got his attention now, he gave him a job which was even paining higher

than his previous one. Hallelujah. But it is my prayer for you that

if you have struggled in your vcation, your academics, build a relationship with

the Lord, and you will see a difference in your academics. Spend some

time in prayer, Spend some time in the world. Spend some time inviting

somebody that is service to the Lord. Tell somebody about Jesus. Invite somebody

is service to the Lord. How many if you have ever invited somebody to

church? If invited somebody, can I see that? Do you have some

Christians? Oh? Just lifted up higher? If you haven't, don't worry.

I mean yes, If you haven't, don't worry. That's why we

are sharing the gospel today, so that we know what you and I have

to do as children of God, as ambassadors representing God here on earth.

Hallelujah. Tell a neighbor, addis your service to the Lord? Is about?

Addis? Tell another neighbor your service to the Lord. It's about addis

not just you? Hallelujah. Amen. Actually about do you believe that what

you've just told me? Hmm? Do you believe it? What are they

saying? They believe? Yes? Because this life is full of services.

We serve everywhere, all works of life is service, giving service, giving

service to the Lord. Amen. Yeah. So God rewards service to his

house. God, he rewards service to his house. Let's look at first

Coming Terence three, verse eight, first contence three verse eight. God rewards

service to his house First Comingentence three versus eight. All right said, Now

he who plans and he who works our one, and each one will receive

his own reward according to his own labor. So according to his own service,

according to his own labor. So whatever do you do, whichever service

you give to the house of the Lord, you receive of your labor,

of your reward. Hallelujah. There is a reward for serving the Lord.

There is a reward for saving the lost. Is a service you are giving

to the Lord. There is a reward for that. Hallelujah. There is

a reward that when you sing, your intention or your motive is that us.

You're saying, let somebody be saved, let somebody be delivered, let

somebody's life be transformed. And as you pray, your prayer is that old

Lord, is a saveing the lor Lord. Save a life, save a

brother, save a friend, save a sister. That is a service you

are giving to the Lord. Hallelujah. Oh are you here, I said,

hallelujah, Oh, hallelujah. Yeah, you give service to the Lord.

You give service to the Lord. Let's look a look at some benefits

benefits of seven God, giving service to the Lord. Some benefits of giving

service to the Lord, hallelujah. Of giving service to the Lord, some

one of three some one O three vess three to five some one O three

service to the Lord. So number one, you have protection benefits of saving

God. You have protection. You have the protection of the Lord. You

have the protection of the Lord. You have the protection of the Lord.

Number two you receive forgiveness. You receive forgiveness of all iniquitous once you give

service to the Lord. Because you are seven adds your seven address your seven

adds. He heals your disease. Let's move on. He heals your disease.

He heals every disease. Once you give service to the Lord, he

heals your disease. And what he redeems your life from the pits. He

redeems your life from the pits. So any trap that the enemy has set

for you, anyone who has set a trap for you, even in your

class, at home, your family. God is what he redeems you.

He delivers you from distraction. Once you give service to the Lord, he

delivers you from all kinds of things. The next one, he crowns you

with that first love, like the song with sung the state first love.

All the Lord never sees his mercy. Welcome to They're are new every morning,

new, every morning. Great is that faithfulness. So he crowns you

with a step first love. Once you give him service, he crowns you

with his step first love. Hallelujah. Yeah, the next one, let's

move. He satisfy you with his with good things. He satisfies you with

good things. He satisfies you with good things. He satisfies you with good

things. Hallelujah. He satisfies you with good things once you give service to

the Lord. So as you you are, you are winning souls, as

you are evangelizing, as you are inviting dust to the house of the Lord.

As you are calling people to check up on them, as you have

not seen them in the chat for a while, you call and check up

on them. It's a service you are rendering God. Hallelujah. Now he

also renews your youth as an eiger. He renews your youth as an eggle.

Yeahs always at a certain time in their life they go and hide on

the high mountains, and then they the air feathers are changing, and they

have everything afresh. You realize that they they will stay there, they will

hide. They are there until their feathers are renewed. So God renews your

youth as an egger. God renews your youth as an egle. Hallelujah.

He renews your youth as an egg, a man, a man. Yeah.

God is good and all the time, yeah, yeah, all the

time. God is good. So I would like you to also know that

God does not reward membership, but he rewards still wardship service. It's not

enough just being a member, but he rewards service. Amen. So if

you happen to find yourself in a company, you work somewhere, you are

in school. I mean there are things that you can do in school as

a service to the Lord, but not onto men. Amen. As a

service to the Lord, and not onto men. As a service onto the

Lord and not onto men. God is not looking for somebody to just use.

But God is looking for somebody to work to bless. God is not

looking for someone to just use. My God is looking for somebody to bless.

Exodustenty three, verse twenty five. Exodus twenty three, verse twenty five.

He said, ye shall save the Lord your God. He said,

So, ye shall save the Lord your God, and he will bless your

bread and your water. So your service to God brings blessings to your life.

Your service to God, your service to God, your service to God.

Never think that you have wasted your time. Never think that you're wasting

your credit to make a call to somebody or follow up on somebody. Your

service to God, your service to God. So God is looking for somebody

to bless, not to just use. He said, ye shall save the

Lord your God, and he shall bless. And he will not only stop

there by his word, he will bless your bread and your water. And

then what he will take away sickond nesses away from you of your service,

because of your service to his house. Tell you, ah, but if

you're not doing anything for God, from today there is an opportunity to make

a youth ten and do something in the house of the Lord. A man.

Put your hands together for the Lord. Yeah. So as you keep

praying for souls, as you keep praying for our chreaches, you are praying

the old Lord. Even as I'm not able to go, But I am

praying at the time that I'm able to go. May I at the time

that I'm able to go, be strong and have strength to be able to

also be by Right now, because of my age, maybe I might not

be able to go on my own. But when there's an opportunity, Father,

may there be an opportunity that I can go with a group or a

team, so that will be able to also reach out as a service to

the Lord. Hallelujah, that I will be able to reach out service to

the Lord. Coming to clean, sweeping the house of the Lord is a

service to the Lord. In service to the Lord, some people have never

cleaned before. I'm not sure you have some of them here. Do you

have someone who don't even swep? I'm not sure we have some of them

here. Hallelujah. In fact, as you come and you you arrange chess

in the house of the Lord, it service to the house of the Lord.

It means you're not thinking about just yourself, but about ads as well.

It means you are giving service to ads. You are giving service to

others. So you are thinking beyond yourself, beyond yourself to give service to

others. Even in this world, everywhere, every company, all that happens

there, it is service. They are not there on for themselves, but

they are there to serve ads. Whichever company you find on this if they

are not there for themselves, but they are there word because of Adis.

So you have to also as children of God, as I'm Bussardists and believe

us, we must think beyond ourselves and give service to Adis. Hallelujah.

And as you do that God has given us his promise. It is that

ye shall save the Lord your God, and he shall bless your bread and

take away sicknesses away from you. Hallelujah. I see the Lord helping you

and granting you the grace to render service in His house, in your area,

your community, your school. I see the Lord. You see you

mindfully to render us services in your school, sharing the Gospel with somebody in

your class, telling them about Jesus. That is service to God. That

you will not be shy, and you'll not be afraid of their faces,

that you'll be able to share your faith with them, knowing that God has

given you His promise is that ye shall save the Lord your God, and

he shall bless you and take away sicknesses, and he will give you protection

as you save the Lord. As you save the Lord. My emprayer for

you this morning is that the Lord will grant you the grace. The Lord

will grant you the grace. The Lord will grant you the grace. The

Lord will grant you their grace to be able to give service to him,

knowing that all that you are doing, you are not doing it onto man

by, You're doing it onto God. Preparing yourself for where we will spend

eternity, because there is somewhere we are going. We are just a journeyed

through here. We have a destination. Tell your Nyboud we have a destination.

We have a destination, and that destination how to get there is as

you've given your life to Christ. Now you're save, You save, you

give service to the Lord. So it is not enough just being born again.

It's good, it's nice, it's powerful, he said. Work out

your own salvation. Yes, it's good. Work it out. But think

about others. Others are also important. Give service to them, Pull them

in, drag them in, invites them, Tell them about Jesus, Tell

them about the love of Jesus. Because they said, two places that you

can choose to be, or you can decide to be. There is a

heaven and there is a hell. There is heaven, and there is hell.

So there are certain services that you do for the House of the Lord

that will land you in heaven. And there are some things that if you

don't do, or you live your life anyhow. You live your life anyhow.

See, you are more spirits than the flesh. See that raals you.

What's your name, Esther? There real you, Esther is the one

inside of you. So this body is just a container containing Esther here on

the earth, because you need the body to be here so that Esther can

live here on earth. That is why if somebody passes, the body is

just yeah that once the breath leaves, the person is just left. It

means that real you is inside of you. So this body can fight you

even from saving the Lord. That's your flesh. It's a battle. It's

a battle. But it is my prayer that God will give you the strength

to overcome this flesh, that this flesh will not pull you away from the

way. You must save the Lord that will bring you the reward. The

crowns, the crowns, the crowns. So every day, every day,

it's not a day thing, it's an every day thing. It's an every

day thing. Tell you whatever, it's an every day thing. It's not

only why we gather here. Wherever you find yourself, you must give service

to the Lord. Call somebody, check on somebody, pray for somebody.

How many of you have prayed for somebody before in your life you've prayed for

somebody. I mean, that's good. Keep doing it and even do more.

And now we want to pray that the Kingdom of God will come,

that His will will be done. Once the Kingdom of God comes and his

will is being done, and once you and I belong to a kingdom,

so God expects us to do. Some of these is living righteously, a

righteous life. God expects you and I to live a righteous life, a

pure life, a holy life. God expects you and I to live in

that way because God is holy. God is holy. Sometimes certain imaginations come,

yes, but then cast them down, hallelujah. So the thought that

comes to you, they will come even as born again, even as praying,

even in the moment of prayer. Certain thoughts can come from wild thoughts.

But that's why he says, it's casting them down. But what you

do with those thoughts, it is that which is make it a sin or

not a sin. Hallelujah, amen, Because what your body telling about your

body is a temple of the Lord. So use it to glorify the Lord,
