Amen.
-
Ten would be to Acts fourteen and verse eight. Reading
-
to the ten verse Acts fourteen and verse eight, Acts
-
fourteen eight. Yes, you may be seen in heavenly places,
-
and the Bible says, is it on this screen as well?
-
Okay?
-
And the Bible says, and in lystra a certain man
-
without strength in his feet was sitting a cripple from
-
from his mother's womb, who had never walked. Verse nine.
-
This man had Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and
-
seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with
-
a loud voice, stand up straight on your feet, and
-
he leaped and he walked.
-
Amen.
-
Now this is not part of my message. I'm sharing
-
this scripture with you because I want you to understand
-
how important it is to pay attention to the Word
-
of God when is being preached and to have faith
-
that God can come through for you. Do you understand
-
to have faith that God can come through for you?
-
So when you are listening to preaching, it's not a
-
time to be lackadaisica, or it's not a time to
-
sit there with your hands folded, or it's not a
-
time to sit there as in you are in a
-
lecture room or in a boardroom. It's time for you
-
to flow with the word. It's time for you to
-
say amen. It's time for you to clap your hands.
-
It's time for you to be excited, because listen, listen,
-
the Bible says. The Bible says Paul watching him and
-
seeing that he had faith to be healed. How do
-
you watch someone and see that the person has faith
-
to be healed? It means that the person was giving
-
a response, the person was doing a certain action. The
-
person had such an innate ability to show on their
-
face that they were ready to be healed this morning.
-
Any of you don't need healing, may you find it.
-
Any of you don't need grace, May you find it.
-
Any of you do need a new blessing, May you
-
find it. Any of you don't need an open door,
-
May you find it. May it locate you in the
-
name of Jesus. If you believe it, clap your two hands,
-
shout and say yes Lord. So you have to have
-
that faith. Look at your neighbor and say have faith,
-
or say like you meant say have faith? Can you
-
say like you minute one more time? Say have faith? Amen.
-
Now I'm preaching a message.
-
I'm entitled this morning my future, Hope, My future, Hope.
-
Now turn with me to Jeremiah, chapter thirty one and
-
verse seventeen in the NLT translation. NLT translation, NLT translation. Beautiful,
-
there is hope for your future, says the Lord. Your
-
children will come again to their old land.
-
Father.
-
Let the entrance of your wed bring forth illumination. Let
-
it take us from where we are to where we belong.
-
And the church shouted and said, amen, or your amen
-
is true. I can't hear some of you. Your eyes
-
are on your phone. I can't hear some of you
-
say amen.
-
Amen.
-
All right, lovely, So it says there is hope for
-
your future.
-
Now. Hope is very important.
-
Because without hope, you can't have a bright future. Without hope,
-
your future cannot be bright because it takes hope for
-
you to get to your future. You have to have
-
hope to get to your future. You have to have
-
hope to make it. Every day. You have to have
-
hope to make it. Every week. You have to have
-
hope to make it. Every month. You have to have
-
hope to make it every year. It takes hope to
-
hold on. It takes hope to hold on. You cannot
-
just you cannot just go about life like that. You
-
must go about life with hope. Look at your neighbor
-
and say hope. Now, a few things I want you
-
to understand. Let's define the word hope so you understand it.
-
Let's define the word hope so you understand it. Hope
-
from Merriam Webster's dictionary is to cherish a desire with
-
anticipation to make something happen. And from the Baker's Evangelical dictionary,
-
hope means to trust in, to wait for, desire something,
-
to expect something benefit in the future. And I say,
-
hope is the expectation of something that is yet to come.
-
Hope is the expectation of something that is yet to come. Amen, Oh,
-
I said amen. Now let's go to Job fourteen and
-
verse seven. For the Bible says King James Virgin. For
-
the Bible says, for there is a hope of a tree,
-
if it be cut down, that it will sprout again,
-
and that their tender branch thereof will not cease. You
-
have to understand, as a spiritual being living a physical experience,
-
and not as a physical living a spiritual experience, that
-
things happen in this life. Things happen in life, and
-
one of the first people to give up on you
-
when something happens in this life and it's unfortunate are Christians.
-
They become judgmental, They set you aside in righteousness. They say, oh,
-
I'm better than this person, So I don't want to
-
associate myself with them. How will I look if I
-
associate with such a person. They are the first to
-
cut you off, first to cut you off. But what
-
I want you to understand is that situations arise in
-
this life that make you look like you have fallen.
-
The other day David said, how is it that day
-
that hates me have increased? But Lord, b dow Lord,
-
that's dow Lord, that's dour lord. If you've if you've studied,
-
if you've studied English, you know that. But is a contradiction.
-
It's a contradiction. It contradicts two things. So he said,
-
how have my enemies increased? Then he said, but dowur Lord,
-
which means that God is there for you, whether your
-
enemies increased or not. The more the more enemies, the
-
more God. The more enemies, the more God, and the
-
more situations you go through, the more God is there
-
for you. Are you okay? The more God is there
-
for you? Are you listening? So so when the Bible
-
says that for there is hope for a tree, it
-
means that whether the tree is cut or not, there
-
is your hope for it. Meaning there's still second chances,
-
meaning there's still their chances, meaning there's still fourth chances,
-
meaning there's still fit chances, meaning there are still six chances.
-
There are ten chances available. A believer is not cut
-
off when they fall. That's why the sum is said.
-
A saint is a sinner who fell down but got
-
back up again. It's not about when you fail or
-
how you fail, or what made you feel. It's your
-
ability to get back up again. You didn't hear what
-
I said, It's your ability to get back up again.
-
If you can fall and get back up, that is
-
the test. The test is getting back up. The test
-
is not lying in your mess, because every test translates
-
into a testimony, and every mess becomes a message. So
-
if you are in a situation, it's not staying there,
-
but it's getting out of it, rising out of the
-
mess to make it a message, and turning that test
-
into a testimony. So you have to understand that there's
-
hope for the believer. There's hope for the believer. There's
-
hope for The Bible says, if it be cut down,
-
that it will sprout again. It didn't say it's me.
-
It didn't say it can. It didn't say it possibly will.
-
He said, if it is cut down, it will sprout again.
-
Can I announce to you that you are about to
-
sprout again? Or your aimen is too weak? Can I
-
announce to you that you are about to sprout again?
-
Can I announce to you that you are about to
-
have a better testimony, a better blessing, a better open door,
-
a better future. If you believe it, clap your two
-
hours and shall and say yes.
-
Lord, Now watch this.
-
I want to bring this in here just a little bit,
-
even though it's not my message.
-
I want to bring it in just a little bit. Now.
-
The Bible says that faith without works is dead. Then
-
the Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by
-
the word of God.
-
Now what feeds.
-
Your faith for your faith, to feed your hope is.
-
To hear the word of God.
-
It's what you hear, And especially when you are going
-
through troubling situations, what you hear is very important. What
-
you hear determines how you come out of what you
-
are going through. It's what you hear if you are listening,
-
like when somebody gets a broken hat, have you had
-
a broken hearts before?
-
When somebody gets a broken heart?
-
And and what do you call it?
-
And where's.
-
When somebody gets a broken heart and they keep listening
-
to R and B and to blues and to sad music,
-
you will see that there's the sadness of their broken
-
hearts can't lift off of them. It becomes heavier, it
-
becomes heavier, and it's because of what they are listening to.
-
It's because of what they are listening to. What you
-
listen to in.
-
The times of despair is very important for your hope
-
because if you don't believe that there's hope for you,
-
it means that you've lost all possibility and chances for
-
your future. Because hope is there to remind you about
-
your future future and hope, future and hope, future and hope,
-
future and hope, future and hope, faith, past, present, continuous
-
future and hope, future and hope, future and hope, future
-
and hope, future and hope, future and hope. It means
-
that if you lose sight of your hope, you lose
-
sight of your future. But if you hold onto your hope,
-
you have you have hope for your Oh, come on
-
and say, like I'm preaching. Yeah, if you lose sight
-
of your hope, you lose sight of your future. And
-
it doesn't matter what is going on with the economy
-
or what is going on with the government.
-
That does not determine your hope. Your hope is.
-
Determined by the word of God. Go back to go
-
back to the scripture we were on job job fourteen.
-
Go back to job fourteen. It says, for there is
-
hope of a tree if it be cut down.
-
Let me ask you, let me let me ask a
-
question this morning, and just wave at me. How many
-
of you have have have been here? You even let
-
me ask the question, You even let me ask the question.
-
This is already how many of you have been hit before?
-
You've been hit before, you've been cut before, you've been
-
I like the way you're saying it. You've been cut before. Good.
-
That should show you that there's hope for you. There's
-
hope for you because you didn't remain where you were,
-
You didn't stay there, did you stay there.
-
You didn't stay there. You are now here.
-
And you see what it does is that when you
-
are cuts, or when you are broken, or when your
-
faith has been tested, or when you lose sight of
-
your hope. What you don't realize is that it shapes
-
your future. It shapes your future. It shames how you relate.
-
It shaves how you behave. How I behave now is
-
not how I behave two years ago. What I've been
-
through has given me a different perspective on how to behave,
-
and how to act, and how to preach, and how
-
to teach, and how to pray and how to move.
-
It has given me a different perspective. The perspective is different.
-
If you don't go through situations, your perspective cannot be shaped.
-
You must go through a situation to shape your perspective.
-
Look at you never say shape that perspective.
-
Shape it.
-
Why do you go to the gym because you want
-
to shape your body? You go to the gym because
-
you want to shape your body.
-
Six pack, yes, six pack, and fifty.
-
Inchest and the biceps and the trices and the deltoids.
-
You go because you want to work out all of
-
these things. And you want to look like a Coca
-
cola bottle. So you go to the gym.
-
What that is?
-
Coca cola fan towels? Right, they are so save ale bottle.
-
They all look the same.
-
Amen.
-
Now, I want to give you this scripture, and I'll
-
continue the message next week. I want to give you
-
this scripture and I'll continue the message next week. Jeremiah
-
twenty nine and verse eleven n IV. The Bible says,
-
The Bible says, for I know the plans I have
-
for you, declares the Lord plans to prosper you and
-
not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and
-
a future, plans to give you.
-
And a.
-
Hobe goes with hope, goes with hope, goes with not
-
my words the word of God, not my words the
-
word of God. It says, for let's declare this. Rise
-
upon your feet, Rise upon your feet. Let's declare the
-
scripture together. Let's declare the scripture together. One, two, three,
-
go For I know you may be seated, So watch this,
-
watch this. The Bible says that God is not a
-
man that he should lie, nor the son of a
-
man that he should repent. God is telling you that
-
I have a future for you. Just have hope in
-
that future. If God has told you he has a
-
future for you, how many how many of you believe?
-
How many of you believe that if I me, as
-
a mortal man the way I am, if I want
-
to help somebody and change their future, I can help them.
-
How many of you believe that I can help the person?
-
Now this is not a master because you see, some
-
men are willing, but they are not able, and some
-
When I say man, I'm talking about men and women. Now,
-
some men are willing and they are not able. And
-
some men are able, but they are not willing. But
-
your God is able and willing to do exceedingly abundantly above.
-
Do you get what I'm saying?
-
So your God is able and willing to do exceedingly
-
abundantly above. And the same God is telling you that
-
I have plans for you. I have plans at about you.
-
Do you know the great thing about plans? The great
-
thing about plans, If you ask any great architect or engineer,
-
or the people who drop plans they are called word architects.
-
If you ask any of them. The beautiful thing about
-
a plan is that after you've designed it, you've designed it.
-
You can always stop, erase part of it and redesign it.
-
You didn't get what I just said. You didn't get
-
what I just said. I said.
-
The beautiful thing about a plan is that after designing it,
-
you can get to a point where you say that
-
this no longer fits in the plan, or I want
-
the plan to look nicer than this, So you can
-
erase a portion of it. As a matter of fact,
-
you can scrap the whole thing and start all over again.
-
You redesign what you have already designed. Love riches Wow.
-
So if God is the architect and he is holding
-
your plan in his hand, he can always redesign.
-
He can always reorchestraight Listen.
-
The Bible says that Jesus must need go through Samaria.
-
Jesus must need.
-
Is a necessity that he goes through Samaria. Some of
-
the things we go through in life. One of these
-
days i'll share my testimony. You cry for me. You
-
love to hear. One of the things that is important
-
in this life is that you are allowed to go
-
through situations. Like I said earlier, it shapes you, just
-
like how their shape wear for.
-
Men and women. You can wear.
-
You can wear something that shapes you. There's situations you
-
go through in life also shape you.
-
They also shape you. They also shape you.
-
And it's very important that you allow yourself to be shaped,
-
because if you don't allow yourself to be shaped, you
-
miss certain things.
-
You will miss a lot of things. There are so
-
many things that are.
-
Not important to me anymore, so many things I don't
-
get myself into, so many things I don't do because
-
my perspective has been shaped. It's been shaped, It's been
-
shaped a particular way. When you allow God to shape
-
your perspective, there's a brighter hope for your future. Because
-
because listen and I want to end with this and
-
I'll continue next week. You can never forget. You can
-
never forget, and please pay attention here. I want you
-
to get this. I don't want you to miss this.
-
You can never forget that the same God who is
-
yesterday is today, and it's tomorrow and it's forever, and
-
that is your future.
-
And that same God.
-
That same God says I have plans for you, I
-
have hope and a future for you. If he said
-
it yesterday, it means that you will continue today. It
-
means that you saying to it tomorrow and it means
-
that you will shape your future. Please rise up on
-
your feet. I want to ask to prayer prayer as
-
many of you that have lost hope, you've lost hope,
-
Come and feel this order.
-
I want to pray for you.
-
You've lost hope, Come and feel this order.
-
I want to pray for you. It's not a bad thing. This.
-
Don't never forget. There's certain man at Lystra.
-
There's certain man at Lystra who was crippled, but he
-
had faith.
-
To be healed. Come and feel the order. I want
-
to pray. You've lost your hope, hope you come back.
-
Your hope will come back. Your hope will return. Your
-
hope will come back. Your hope will return.
-
Your hope will your hope will return, Your hope will
-
come back.
-
You know your hope will return. Listen to me saying this,
-
with me saying the name of Jesus, in.
-
The name of Jese, I decree, I decree, and I declare,
-

-
and giving God embrace? M hm. Now we've reached a
-
very crucial point.
-
In today's administration, and I want to ask as many
-
of you that have not given your lives to Christ
-
to come and let me pray for you, because there
-
is no hope and there's no future without first accepting Christ.
-
There's nothing to be ashamed about. There's nothing to be
-
ashamed about. If you've not accepted Christ as your Lord
-
and savior. Please come, let me pray for you. Please come,
-
let me pray for you. If you are coming, please come.
-
If you are coming, please come. If you are coming,
-
please come. If you are coming, please come, If you
-
are coming, please come. All right, say this prayer after me,
-
Say Father, today, I give you my life. Say Father,
-
I no longer want to say and have a wayward life.
-
Say Father, I give you my life today.
-
I give it to you.
-
I degree and I declare by prayer, but I believe
-
in you. Use me, feel me, direct me, show me
-
the way in Jesus' name.
-
Amen. Well, if you send that.
-
Prayer and you believed it, I want you to know
-
that you've given your life to Christ, and I want
-
you to know that Christ is there for you.
-
And I want you to know that.
-
I want you to know that God will be there
-
for you, and God has a hope and has a
-
future for you.
-
Never forget my future, my hope, my future. Amen. We
-
see that in heavenly places,
