what it means either you overcome it or it overcomes you.

In the name of Jesus, I brother sigh over your life, man,

-

-
them out and madejor deliberance a man. It's like you
-
just escaped and tramp that was between life and death.
-
And may God keep you, May God preserve you, and
-
may God strengthen you. In Jesus' name you may be
-
see that. But before you are seated, let's give honor
-
to whom, honey is you, to our father, his eminence,
-
the act Bishop Nicholas, that can Williams. That is our father.
-
If you are clapping, come on and clap your hands.
-
If you are shouting, come on and shout. If you
-
are running, come on and run.
-
Amen, you may be seen that in heavenly places, because
-
of because of, because of, because of the rain. Time
-
is far gone. And so I'll be preaching for about
-
the next twenty minutes.
-
And then.
-
And then and then we will we will continue next week. Amen.
-
But it's very important.
-
I want to encourage all of you to make sure
-
that you have the podcast and you are continually listening
-
to the messages. You are continually listening to the messages.
-
Way is, Reverend Francis, you are continually listening to the messages.
-
It's very important. Now this morning, I'm preaching on a
-
very deep, a very deep and spiritual message. And this
-
message is only for those that are spiritually deep and discerning.
-
If you are not spiritually deep and discerning, this message.
-
Won't work for you. It won't work for you.
-
So please try and be as spiritually discerning as possible.
-
Amen, Oh I said, Amen.
-
Now, then, tight, the title of my message is the
-
cost of loving God. The cost of loving God, the
-
cost of loving God. Now, brothers and sisters, you must
-
understand that the love for God is the highest calling
-
of every believer. It is not merely an emotion or
-
affleeting sentiments, but a covenant A covenant with God is
-
a sacred agreement between him and his people where he
-
makes promises and expects faithfulness.
-
In return.
-
It is based on his grace and often includes commitments,
-
blessings for obedience, and consequences.
-
For breaking it.
-
I want to share with you just a few people
-
had from biblic perspective, that had covenant. Noah had a covenant,
-
Abrah had an Abraham had a covenant.
-
Jesus had a new covenant.
-
Which revealed God's plan for the relationship and redemption.
-
Of his people.
-
Are you here? You've gone home? A divine obligation A
-
divine obligation with God is a sacred duty or a
-
responsibility that he expects his fullow west to fulfill. It
-
involves obedience to his commands and faithfulness in worship and
-
living according to his will. Look at and say living
-
according to his will? Say like you mean, say living
-
according to.
-
His will?
-
So that means not your will, but his will. Do
-
you understand what I'm saying? Are you sure you understand?
-
These obligations reflect a believer's commitment to God and often
-
come with spiritual blessings for obedience and consequences for failure.
-
So please understand that when you have a covenant with God,
-
there is obedience and then there's also consequences for disobedience.
-
Are you listening to me? Look at your neighbor and
-
say obedience and consequences for disobedience. Are you listening to me?
-
Please make sure you are listening to me. Will all right?
-
So it is just like when it is just like
-
when the children of Israel were fighting the Philistines and
-
they went to bring the ac of the Covenant without
-
being instructed to go and bring it, and they brought it,
-
and the Bible says that there was such a trembling
-
in the camp of Israel that the Philistines became scared.
-
Do you understand? And the Israelites thought they will win
-
the battle. But not only did they lose the battle,
-
but they also lost the ac of the Covenant and
-
they went to set the ac of the Covenants before Dagon.
-
And I will not continue because that's not my message.
-
But I want you to understand that their consequences for disobedience.
-
When God does not ask you to go and bring
-
the Act of the Covenant, you don't go and bring it.
-
Do you understand? Do you understand? And there are some
-
of you. You test God's obedience. You test God's obedience, you.
-
Are like God.
-
If I don't leave this sister's house before twelve midnight,
-
then it means that you sanction me to be here.
-
That is not That is not the covenant God wants
-
with you. And that is not how That is not
-
how the covenant works. Are you listening to me? I'm
-
trying to break it a little bit further down for you.
-
Do you get what I'm saying?
-
And that that.
-
Story I told you about what's a pastime in his beloved?
-
And the pastor said, God, let me leave this place
-
before twelve. And if I don't live before twelve, I
-
know that it's in your will. And he didn't live,
-
and the rest is between him and God. God forbid,
-
God forbid. It shall not be the costern U Timothy.
-
The Bible presents love for God as an all encompassing devotion.
-
It is a love that shapes life, thoughts, actions, and priorities,
-
putting God above all else. This deep commitment is expressed
-
through worship, obedience, trust, and a con sterun desire to
-
grow closer to Him, allowing his will to guide every
-
decision and purpose in our life. A supreme commitment that
-
defines our work with Him. And supreme commitment that defines
-
our work with God means placing Him at the center
-
of our lives, allowing his will to shape our thoughts,
-
actions and decisions. It is a wholehearted dedication to follow
-
Him in faith, obedience, and in love, regardless of the challenges.
-
That regardless of the challenges, this commitments, regardless of the challenges,
-
this commitment deepens our relationship with our God, guiding us
-
to live with purpose, trust, and on wavering devotion to
-
His truth. The foundation of loving God. Our love for
-
God is not self generated. It's a response to His
-
first love for us First John four nineteen NLT. The
-
Bible says, for we love each other, for we love
-
each other. What's going on in the back. For we
-
love each other because He first loved us. Because we
-
love each other because he first loved us. We love
-
each other because he first, because he loved us first. Sorry,
-
another translation was he loved he first loved us like
-
King James. But let's continue. So it's important you understand
-
that your love for God is not predicated on anything
-
else but that He first loved you. Do you understand
-
now when you are born. When a child is born,
-
a child is looking for love and acceptance from the parents.
-
Do you understand when the child shows love and acceptance
-
to the parents, When the parents show love and acceptance
-
to the child, the child automatically loves the parents back.
-
Not because the child fast showed love, but because the
-
parents fast showed love. God has fast shown us love
-
because he died for us. And that is why intent
-
we also love him. Because his love was not just words.
-
His love was not just speakings. His love was not
-
just sweet words. His love was His love was not
-
something he said and then he took it back, but
-
the love, the love he shared for us, He took
-
it into actions and died for us, and he first
-
loved us. That is why we also intend must love him.
-
Are you understanding what I'm saying? From Genesis to Revelation,
-
God love has been relentless, on wavering, and sacrificial. The
-
ultimate expression of his love is found in Jesus Christ,
-
the son of the Living God, who became the embodiment
-
of divine love on it. He became the embodiment of it.
-
He wrapped himself in the womb of a woman, came
-
here and became the embodiment of love. Do you understand
-
he became the embodiment of love?
-
Now?
-
When when.
-
Have you watched some of those funny videos where a
-
couple are walking and then somebody comes out with a gun.
-
You will see the guy run and leave the girl.
-
Have you seen some of those videos before? I wish
-
I had one to play for you. Some just the
-
blast of a balloon and then they run. The one
-
I watched, I was very, very funny that the guy
-
took there. You saying hair as a shield. And if
-
you are a woman and such a thing happens to
-
you and you go back to such a guy, something
-
is wrong with you. Something is wrong with you, something
-
is definitely wrong with you.
-
Now let's continue.
-
Number one, Supreme Devotion to the greatest Commandment Matthew twenty
-
two thirty seven to thirty eight. Nalty Jesus replied and said,
-
you must love your God with all your heart, all
-
your soul, and all your mind. This is the first
-
and the great commandments. Marthe twenty two thirty seven and
-
thirty eight. No I said to two, yeah, stop there,
-
don't go to twenty nine means that loving God should
-
be your highest priority in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes
-
that love must be complete, coming from the heart, affections
-
and the desires.
-
So I'll take it from the beginning.
-
It means that loving God should be the highest priority
-
in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes that this love must
-
be complete, coming from the heart, affections and desires, so
-
identity and devotion and mind thoughts and understanding. It is
-
not just an emotion, but a deep, all encompassing commitment
-
that shapes every aspect of your life. By calling it
-
the First and greatest commandment, Jesus highlights that our relationship
-
with God is the foundation for everything else, influencing how
-
we live, think, and interact with others. Please look at
-
your neighbor and tell them their foundation of Christianity is
-
loving God. Do you understand the foundation of Christianity is
-
loving God? That is what when somebody comes to slap you.
-
When somebody comes to slap you, you don't slap them back.
-
You don't slap them back because because it's not what
-
you would do, it's not your temperament, but it's the
-
temperament of God. What are you talking about if it
-
were me, and you come and slap me. By the way,
-
I've never fought in my life. I've never hit somebody.
-
I've never slapped anybody. I've never I've never done any.
-
Of that in my life. So it's a you.
-
It's there's only one person that I ever slapped in
-
my I said I ever slapped, I ever wanted to slap,
-
and I ended updating the person.
-
Yeah not serious, yeah, not serious.
-
No that I'm serious the woman, so a get me.
-
I wanted to put everything aside and slap it and
-
just one slap and and like to later we ended
-
up and I did that for a long time, about
-
six years. Yeah. Yeah, that thing has changed. It has changed.
-
It does changed. Yeah, you see, you see the thing.
-
And then and then when we wanted to marry, a
-
certain prophet said that that's not my wife.
-
And then he went around trying to sleep with it.
-
So be careful of those that you call profits in
-
your life. Not everybody is a profit. When we enterre
-
your phone, you have more than twenty five profits in
-
your phone. More than twenty five profits in your phone,
-
more than twenty five profits in.
-
Your phone.
-
One day and I'm finishing my message with three more
-
points you no time is up. No, no, no, it's fine.
-
I've sucked you. I have you not been paying attention
-
to everything. As a matter of fact, it's one of
-
the most sock san days I've ever suked you because
-
I'm not listening to anything any of you are saying.
-
I'm just delivering my message, so be very careful.
-
There was this one soccer guy I prophesied too about
-
him going to play soccer, and he met me a
-
few weeks later, and then he said, can I have
-
my number? I started this number and he was trying
-
to call me. I promise you there was nothing less
-
than fifty profits in his phone when he tied profits.
-
Profit profit profit profit, profit profit profit profit profit profit
-
profit profit profit, and.
-
He finally found my number. I never answered his care
-
I never answered his call. And those of you that
-
don't plant yourself in one place and learn from one
-
place and hear from one place, and you finish here
-
in the word of God here, then you on YouTube
-
watching this pasta and watching that pasta and watching that pasta.
-
It's not good for you.
-
A tree cannot uproot, replant, replant, replant, replant, and grow.
-
It doesn't work. It doesn't work. It does not work.
-
It does not work that we look at you never
-
and say it does not work that way. You cannot
-
be uprooting and replanting yourself. It doesn't work like that.
-
Out come is one bow? How come is one bowl?
-
We put the flowering one bow?
-
One bow, one bow, one bow, not two, three, four, five,
-
six seven, one bow.
-
Ah, you are feeding from his evidence.
-
The archbishop, somebody who has been in ministry for forty
-
seven years, lasted the.
-
Test of time. So many people.
-
Do you know how many people have risen and gone
-
down in forty seven years? And you have somebody who
-
has stood the test of time. And you are listening
-
to this South African or Zimbabwean or or Guinean and
-
new letters past time in town because you think they
-
have the latest message.
-
What is wrong with you? What wrong with you?
-
You don't know their beginning, you don't know their end.
-
You can't even trace them. You don't know who their
-
spiritual father is. How did they raise themselves up in ministry?
-
Why are they agabus? And it's only Agabus. We don't
-
know where he came from. It just appeared. The guy
-
just appeared. It doesn't work. Like that. It doesn't work
-
like that. Now, let me give you this a night clothes. Okay,
-
let me start from the beginning, because I've gone a
-
little bit of So let me start from the paragraph
-
and give it to you, and I'll give you three
-
points on the heart, the soul, strength, and then we'll close.
-
Amen. Amen, Amen.
-
So, as I was saying in Matthew twenty seven thirty eight,
-
as I was saying in Matthew twenty two thirty seven
-
and thirty eight, it means that loving God should be
-
the highest priority in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes this
-
love must be complete, coming from the heart, affections and desires, so.
-
An identity. Please, if you are talking, please stop.
-
I can. It's a secular room, so I can hear
-
everything to the stage understanding it's not just an emotion,
-
but a deep awe compassing commitments that shapes every aspect
-
of life. But calling it the first and the greatest commandment,
-
Jesus highlights that our relationship with God is the foundation
-
for everything else, influencing how we live, think, and interact
-
with others. When Jesus spoke these words, he was addressing
-
religious scholars who prided themselves on their knowledge of the law.
-
Yet He revealed that the essence of the law was
-
not just rituals and traditions.
-
It was love.
-
This commandment was first given in Deuteronomy, chapter six and
-
verse five n IVY. Love the Lord your God with
-
all your heart, and with all your soul, and with
-
all your strength. Now your heart means loving God. Loving
-
God with your heart means having deep, sincere devotion to Him.
-
It's more than these emotions. It's a commitment to put
-
God first, trust him completely, and seek a personal relationship
-
with him. The love is reflected in worship, obedience, and
-
a desire to live according to His will. It means
-
loving him not just in words, but in actions, aligning
-
your desires and decisions with His truth. Do you understand
-
aligning your actions and your desires with His truth? Do
-
you understand so that pass that I was telling you
-
about who said that if by twelve he doesn't leave
-
this place, that's not God's truth, That's not the will.
-
Love God.
-
You must make sure that your desires and your actions
-
align themselves with God's truth, or else you do not
-
love God.
-
It's a very simple thing. Do you understand it? Means
-
you do not love God. Do you get it?
-
So? Loving God with your soul means surrendering your entire being,
-
your identity, purpose, and deepest desires to Him. It's a
-
love that goes beyond emotions or actions, flowing from the
-
core of who you are. This kind of love seeks
-
God all above else, finding fulfillment and purpose in Him alone,
-
and remaining faithful in trials. Now I'll continue strength from
-
next week. There is something I want to do very quickly,
-
which I feel a strong desire to do. If you
-
you are here and you feel like some way, somehow
-
you've stopped loving God, your desire for the love of
-
God has gone astray, please come let me pray for you.
-
It's not a joking thing. It's very important. It's the
-
first commandment, and it's the greatest commandment which He holds
-
us to. If you are here, don't look to your left,
-
don't look to your right, don't look at anybody around you.
-
Please come and let me pray for you. Please come
-
and let me pray for you. Please come and let
-
me pray for you. Please come and let me pray
-
for you. Please come and let me pray for you. Please,
-
come and let me pray for you. Please come and
-
let me pray for you. If you are coming, please
-
come and let me pray for you. Loving God is
-
a commandment and their consequences for breaking that commandment. He
-
is not going to to the person to your left
-
or the person to your rights and say why why
-
did you not let them come forward and renew their
-
covenant with me.
-
Is going to all be on you.
-
So don't let anybody to your left or to your
-
right influence you. If you are coming, please come. Don't
-
let anybody influence you. If you are coming, please come.
-
It's a simple prayer. We are going to pray. Nothing
-
is meant to embarrass you. Nothing is meant to do
-
any sort of thing. If you are coming, and whilst
-
you're here, just lift up your voice and speak to him.
-
Whilst you're here, just lift up your voice.
-
And speak to him.
-
Say God, I want to renew my covenant with you.
-
I want to renew my covenant with you. I want
-
to renew my covenant with you. I want to renew
-
my covenant you covet I want to relieve my covenant
-
to Jesus. If I want to renew my covenant with.
