  42. what it means either you overcome it or it overcomes you.

  43. So some of the prayers you are praying you can't

  114. your deliberance for you. No, you don't need to bring

  115. them out and madejor deliberance a man. It's like you

  116. just escaped and tramp that was between life and death.

  117. And may God keep you, May God preserve you, and

  118. may God strengthen you. In Jesus' name you may be

  119. see that. But before you are seated, let's give honor

  120. to whom, honey is you, to our father, his eminence,

  121. the act Bishop Nicholas, that can Williams. That is our father.

  122. If you are clapping, come on and clap your hands.

  123. If you are shouting, come on and shout. If you

  124. are running, come on and run.

  125. Amen, you may be seen that in heavenly places, because

  126. of because of, because of, because of the rain. Time

  127. is far gone. And so I'll be preaching for about

  128. the next twenty minutes.

  129. And then.

  130. And then and then we will we will continue next week. Amen.

  131. But it's very important.

  132. I want to encourage all of you to make sure

  133. that you have the podcast and you are continually listening

  134. to the messages. You are continually listening to the messages.

  135. Way is, Reverend Francis, you are continually listening to the messages.

  136. It's very important. Now this morning, I'm preaching on a

  137. very deep, a very deep and spiritual message. And this

  138. message is only for those that are spiritually deep and discerning.

  139. If you are not spiritually deep and discerning, this message.

  140. Won't work for you. It won't work for you.

  141. So please try and be as spiritually discerning as possible.

  142. Amen, Oh I said, Amen.

  143. Now, then, tight, the title of my message is the

  144. cost of loving God. The cost of loving God, the

  145. cost of loving God. Now, brothers and sisters, you must

  146. understand that the love for God is the highest calling

  147. of every believer. It is not merely an emotion or

  148. affleeting sentiments, but a covenant A covenant with God is

  149. a sacred agreement between him and his people where he

  150. makes promises and expects faithfulness.

  151. In return.

  152. It is based on his grace and often includes commitments,

  153. blessings for obedience, and consequences.

  154. For breaking it.

  155. I want to share with you just a few people

  156. had from biblic perspective, that had covenant. Noah had a covenant,

  157. Abrah had an Abraham had a covenant.

  158. Jesus had a new covenant.

  159. Which revealed God's plan for the relationship and redemption.

  160. Of his people.

  161. Are you here? You've gone home? A divine obligation A

  162. divine obligation with God is a sacred duty or a

  163. responsibility that he expects his fullow west to fulfill. It

  164. involves obedience to his commands and faithfulness in worship and

  165. living according to his will. Look at and say living

  166. according to his will? Say like you mean, say living

  167. according to.

  168. His will?

  169. So that means not your will, but his will. Do

  170. you understand what I'm saying? Are you sure you understand?

  171. These obligations reflect a believer's commitment to God and often

  172. come with spiritual blessings for obedience and consequences for failure.

  173. So please understand that when you have a covenant with God,

  174. there is obedience and then there's also consequences for disobedience.

  175. Are you listening to me? Look at your neighbor and

  176. say obedience and consequences for disobedience. Are you listening to me?

  177. Please make sure you are listening to me. Will all right?

  178. So it is just like when it is just like

  179. when the children of Israel were fighting the Philistines and

  180. they went to bring the ac of the Covenant without

  181. being instructed to go and bring it, and they brought it,

  182. and the Bible says that there was such a trembling

  183. in the camp of Israel that the Philistines became scared.

  184. Do you understand? And the Israelites thought they will win

  185. the battle. But not only did they lose the battle,

  186. but they also lost the ac of the Covenant and

  187. they went to set the ac of the Covenants before Dagon.

  188. And I will not continue because that's not my message.

  189. But I want you to understand that their consequences for disobedience.

  190. When God does not ask you to go and bring

  191. the Act of the Covenant, you don't go and bring it.

  192. Do you understand? Do you understand? And there are some

  193. of you. You test God's obedience. You test God's obedience, you.

  194. Are like God.

  195. If I don't leave this sister's house before twelve midnight,

  196. then it means that you sanction me to be here.

  197. That is not That is not the covenant God wants

  198. with you. And that is not how That is not

  199. how the covenant works. Are you listening to me? I'm

  200. trying to break it a little bit further down for you.

  201. Do you get what I'm saying?

  202. And that that.

  203. Story I told you about what's a pastime in his beloved?

  204. And the pastor said, God, let me leave this place

  205. before twelve. And if I don't live before twelve, I

  206. know that it's in your will. And he didn't live,

  207. and the rest is between him and God. God forbid,

  208. God forbid. It shall not be the costern U Timothy.

  209. The Bible presents love for God as an all encompassing devotion.

  210. It is a love that shapes life, thoughts, actions, and priorities,

  211. putting God above all else. This deep commitment is expressed

  212. through worship, obedience, trust, and a con sterun desire to

  213. grow closer to Him, allowing his will to guide every

  214. decision and purpose in our life. A supreme commitment that

  215. defines our work with Him. And supreme commitment that defines

  216. our work with God means placing Him at the center

  217. of our lives, allowing his will to shape our thoughts,

  218. actions and decisions. It is a wholehearted dedication to follow

  219. Him in faith, obedience, and in love, regardless of the challenges.

  220. That regardless of the challenges, this commitments, regardless of the challenges,

  221. this commitment deepens our relationship with our God, guiding us

  222. to live with purpose, trust, and on wavering devotion to

  223. His truth. The foundation of loving God. Our love for

  224. God is not self generated. It's a response to His

  225. first love for us First John four nineteen NLT. The

  226. Bible says, for we love each other, for we love

  227. each other. What's going on in the back. For we

  228. love each other because He first loved us. Because we

  229. love each other because he first loved us. We love

  230. each other because he first, because he loved us first. Sorry,

  231. another translation was he loved he first loved us like

  232. King James. But let's continue. So it's important you understand

  233. that your love for God is not predicated on anything

  234. else but that He first loved you. Do you understand

  235. now when you are born. When a child is born,

  236. a child is looking for love and acceptance from the parents.

  237. Do you understand when the child shows love and acceptance

  238. to the parents, When the parents show love and acceptance

  239. to the child, the child automatically loves the parents back.

  240. Not because the child fast showed love, but because the

  241. parents fast showed love. God has fast shown us love

  242. because he died for us. And that is why intent

  243. we also love him. Because his love was not just words.

  244. His love was not just speakings. His love was not

  245. just sweet words. His love was His love was not

  246. something he said and then he took it back, but

  247. the love, the love he shared for us, He took

  248. it into actions and died for us, and he first

  249. loved us. That is why we also intend must love him.

  250. Are you understanding what I'm saying? From Genesis to Revelation,

  251. God love has been relentless, on wavering, and sacrificial. The

  252. ultimate expression of his love is found in Jesus Christ,

  253. the son of the Living God, who became the embodiment

  254. of divine love on it. He became the embodiment of it.

  255. He wrapped himself in the womb of a woman, came

  256. here and became the embodiment of love. Do you understand

  257. he became the embodiment of love?

  258. Now?

  259. When when.

  260. Have you watched some of those funny videos where a

  261. couple are walking and then somebody comes out with a gun.

  262. You will see the guy run and leave the girl.

  263. Have you seen some of those videos before? I wish

  264. I had one to play for you. Some just the

  265. blast of a balloon and then they run. The one

  266. I watched, I was very, very funny that the guy

  267. took there. You saying hair as a shield. And if

  268. you are a woman and such a thing happens to

  269. you and you go back to such a guy, something

  270. is wrong with you. Something is wrong with you, something

  271. is definitely wrong with you.

  272. Now let's continue.

  273. Number one, Supreme Devotion to the greatest Commandment Matthew twenty

  274. two thirty seven to thirty eight. Nalty Jesus replied and said,

  275. you must love your God with all your heart, all

  276. your soul, and all your mind. This is the first

  277. and the great commandments. Marthe twenty two thirty seven and

  278. thirty eight. No I said to two, yeah, stop there,

  279. don't go to twenty nine means that loving God should

  280. be your highest priority in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes

  281. that love must be complete, coming from the heart, affections

  282. and the desires.

  283. So I'll take it from the beginning.

  284. It means that loving God should be the highest priority

  285. in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes that this love must

  286. be complete, coming from the heart, affections and desires, so

  287. identity and devotion and mind thoughts and understanding. It is

  288. not just an emotion, but a deep, all encompassing commitment

  289. that shapes every aspect of your life. By calling it

  290. the First and greatest commandment, Jesus highlights that our relationship

  291. with God is the foundation for everything else, influencing how

  292. we live, think, and interact with others. Please look at

  293. your neighbor and tell them their foundation of Christianity is

  294. loving God. Do you understand the foundation of Christianity is

  295. loving God? That is what when somebody comes to slap you.

  296. When somebody comes to slap you, you don't slap them back.

  297. You don't slap them back because because it's not what

  298. you would do, it's not your temperament, but it's the

  299. temperament of God. What are you talking about if it

  300. were me, and you come and slap me. By the way,

  301. I've never fought in my life. I've never hit somebody.

  302. I've never slapped anybody. I've never I've never done any.

  303. Of that in my life. So it's a you.

  304. It's there's only one person that I ever slapped in

  305. my I said I ever slapped, I ever wanted to slap,

  306. and I ended updating the person.

  307. Yeah not serious, yeah, not serious.

  308. No that I'm serious the woman, so a get me.

  309. I wanted to put everything aside and slap it and

  310. just one slap and and like to later we ended

  311. up and I did that for a long time, about

  312. six years. Yeah. Yeah, that thing has changed. It has changed.

  313. It does changed. Yeah, you see, you see the thing.

  314. And then and then when we wanted to marry, a

  315. certain prophet said that that's not my wife.

  316. And then he went around trying to sleep with it.

  317. So be careful of those that you call profits in

  318. your life. Not everybody is a profit. When we enterre

  319. your phone, you have more than twenty five profits in

  320. your phone. More than twenty five profits in your phone,

  321. more than twenty five profits in.

  322. Your phone.

  323. One day and I'm finishing my message with three more

  324. points you no time is up. No, no, no, it's fine.

  325. I've sucked you. I have you not been paying attention

  326. to everything. As a matter of fact, it's one of

  327. the most sock san days I've ever suked you because

  328. I'm not listening to anything any of you are saying.

  329. I'm just delivering my message, so be very careful.

  330. There was this one soccer guy I prophesied too about

  331. him going to play soccer, and he met me a

  332. few weeks later, and then he said, can I have

  333. my number? I started this number and he was trying

  334. to call me. I promise you there was nothing less

  335. than fifty profits in his phone when he tied profits.

  336. Profit profit profit profit, profit profit profit profit profit profit

  337. profit profit profit, and.

  338. He finally found my number. I never answered his care

  339. I never answered his call. And those of you that

  340. don't plant yourself in one place and learn from one

  341. place and hear from one place, and you finish here

  342. in the word of God here, then you on YouTube

  343. watching this pasta and watching that pasta and watching that pasta.

  344. It's not good for you.

  345. A tree cannot uproot, replant, replant, replant, replant, and grow.

  346. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. It does not work.

  347. It does not work that we look at you never

  348. and say it does not work that way. You cannot

  349. be uprooting and replanting yourself. It doesn't work like that.

  350. Out come is one bow? How come is one bowl?

  351. We put the flowering one bow?

  352. One bow, one bow, one bow, not two, three, four, five,

  353. six seven, one bow.

  354. Ah, you are feeding from his evidence.

  355. The archbishop, somebody who has been in ministry for forty

  356. seven years, lasted the.

  357. Test of time. So many people.

  358. Do you know how many people have risen and gone

  359. down in forty seven years? And you have somebody who

  360. has stood the test of time. And you are listening

  361. to this South African or Zimbabwean or or Guinean and

  362. new letters past time in town because you think they

  363. have the latest message.

  364. What is wrong with you? What wrong with you?

  365. You don't know their beginning, you don't know their end.

  366. You can't even trace them. You don't know who their

  367. spiritual father is. How did they raise themselves up in ministry?

  368. Why are they agabus? And it's only Agabus. We don't

  369. know where he came from. It just appeared. The guy

  370. just appeared. It doesn't work. Like that. It doesn't work

  371. like that. Now, let me give you this a night clothes. Okay,

  372. let me start from the beginning, because I've gone a

  373. little bit of So let me start from the paragraph

  374. and give it to you, and I'll give you three

  375. points on the heart, the soul, strength, and then we'll close.

  376. Amen. Amen, Amen.

  377. So, as I was saying in Matthew twenty seven thirty eight,

  378. as I was saying in Matthew twenty two thirty seven

  379. and thirty eight, it means that loving God should be

  380. the highest priority in a believer's life. Jesus emphasizes this

  381. love must be complete, coming from the heart, affections and desires, so.

  382. An identity. Please, if you are talking, please stop.

  383. I can. It's a secular room, so I can hear

  384. everything to the stage understanding it's not just an emotion,

  385. but a deep awe compassing commitments that shapes every aspect

  386. of life. But calling it the first and the greatest commandment,

  387. Jesus highlights that our relationship with God is the foundation

  388. for everything else, influencing how we live, think, and interact

  389. with others. When Jesus spoke these words, he was addressing

  390. religious scholars who prided themselves on their knowledge of the law.

  391. Yet He revealed that the essence of the law was

  392. not just rituals and traditions.

  393. It was love.

  394. This commandment was first given in Deuteronomy, chapter six and

  395. verse five n IVY. Love the Lord your God with

  396. all your heart, and with all your soul, and with

  397. all your strength. Now your heart means loving God. Loving

  398. God with your heart means having deep, sincere devotion to Him.

  399. It's more than these emotions. It's a commitment to put

  400. God first, trust him completely, and seek a personal relationship

  401. with him. The love is reflected in worship, obedience, and

  402. a desire to live according to His will. It means

  403. loving him not just in words, but in actions, aligning

  404. your desires and decisions with His truth. Do you understand

  405. aligning your actions and your desires with His truth? Do

  406. you understand so that pass that I was telling you

  407. about who said that if by twelve he doesn't leave

  408. this place, that's not God's truth, That's not the will.

  409. Love God.

  410. You must make sure that your desires and your actions

  411. align themselves with God's truth, or else you do not

  412. love God.

  413. It's a very simple thing. Do you understand it? Means

  414. you do not love God. Do you get it?

  415. So? Loving God with your soul means surrendering your entire being,

  416. your identity, purpose, and deepest desires to Him. It's a

  417. love that goes beyond emotions or actions, flowing from the

  418. core of who you are. This kind of love seeks

  419. God all above else, finding fulfillment and purpose in Him alone,

  420. and remaining faithful in trials. Now I'll continue strength from

  421. next week. There is something I want to do very quickly,

  422. which I feel a strong desire to do. If you

  423. you are here and you feel like some way, somehow
