-
were once to God? Are you not a watch? You're
-
going to give up? Great? Open up your mouth. Come on,
-
come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
-
Then, moments, no promise to you. But now now, in
-
this moment, do not live your moment of lid. Do
-
not lit your moments a digitizement.
-
Glory is worthy, Hosannah, glory be to God in the highest.
-
Let us pray, Father God me thank you for your spirit.
-
Holy Spirit. Come have your way, take your place. Let
-
the captains be set free, let souls be saved, Let
-
your people be delivered, and let the devil be horrified
-
by the manifestation of your spirit in this place.
-
And we will be.
-
Careful to give your name the praise, the honor, and
-
the glory in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ
-
of prayed.
-
Amen.
-
Please be saying that first giving honor to God, who
-
is the head of my life. To our Papa, I
-
thank God for his life wherever it is. May his
-
head never lack oil mays and oil never run dry.
-
May the Lord strengthening protect him. Let them be signs.
-
One.
-
There's miracles and breakthroughs for him, all around him, everything
-
concerning him. Let it be perfected in the name of
-
Jesus for our Bishop, Thank you for the opportunity. Come on,
-
come on, don't you know who is and see a
-
stranger amounts us. Give honor to whom honor is due.
-
What you do not honor, you forfeit. When it is
-
time for your honor. You shall not be given the
-
honor because you didn't give honor. Come on, open up
-
your mouth and give honor. We must learn to honor
-
when you know that you do better. Amen.
-
I give yourselves a hand club of praise for being here.
-
Come on, others are somewhere. I was doing other things,
-
but you've chosen to be in the house of the Lord.
-
I was glad when they said unto me. You're proving
-
that you're glad. That's why you're here.
-
Amen.
-
Give God some praise. Please be seated so I'll go
-
right into the world today. This is Easter season. Last
-
week a quick recap. We talked about the significance, the
-
importance of Easter to us, believe us Christians.
-
Amen.
-
We said that Easter was symbolic of what Jesus Christ
-
came to do. He came to die, to redeem us,
-
to justify us, to give us salvation.
-
Amen. How many of you are here last week? Is
-
that all? Come on? Come on, if you're here, don't
-
be afraid. I'm not coming to ask you a question. Yeah.
-
I'm trying to move with time today. So yes.
-
So we talked about those things, and we talked about
-
the importance that that fact that Jesus is the son
-
of God, that he came to earth, died, was crucified,
-
and rose on the third day. That fact is foundational
-
to what we believe as Christians. Amen, And that if
-
that was not true, then everything we're doing here is
-
a lie and it's a waste of time. But turn
-
to your neighbor and say it is not a lie.
-
Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God, and
-
I believe that he came down to earth, suffered, died,
-
was buried, and rose up you're not convincing and rose
-
up on the third day.
-
Amen.
-
That's the significance of Easter, if you believe, if you're Christian.
-
Now in that whole mode of what Easter means today
-
is Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday. Tens your neighbor and say
-
Palm Sunday. Now we are talking about the significance of
-
Palm Sunday. The palm, as we have here, is symbolic
-
of fertility and resilience. It is noted for its ability
-
to thrive even in harsh conditions, its steadiness, and it's
-
also symbolic of victory.
-
Tank your neighbor and say, I have the victory through Christ.
-
The waving of its branches in celebration of victory and
-
triumph is also symbolic. That is why we have Palm Sunday.
-
It commemorates a time when Jesus Christ was going into Jerusalem.
-
He knew the assignment, and he knew that going into
-
Jerusalem he was going to die, but he humbled himself
-
even onto death and still went for your sake and
-
my sake. Last week we also talked about he came
-
to die to reconcile man unto himself because sin had
-
cut us off from God. That's what sin does. When
-
sin matures, it brings death. This palm front I have
-
here cut off from the main plant. It looks green
-
and healthy right now, but give it a few days,
-
a few hours, it'll start wilting and withering and dying.
-
Why because it's cut off from the sauce.
-
So you cannot be cut off from your source and
-
expect to live.
-
For us.
-
You die spiritually when you're cut off from God, your source,
-
and with time it manifests where you die even naturally.
-
Attend to a neighbor and say, I have life because
-
I'm connected to my source. Amen, if you believe that,
-
give God a hand clap of praise. Come on, come on,
-
come on, come on, be awake, be alay. So my
-
topic today is palm Sunday. But as a top topic
-
I give you don't miss your time of visitation. Turn
-
to your neighbor and tell him, don't miss your time
-
of visitation. My key scripture is Luke nineteen verses twenty
-
eight to forty four. Looke nineteen versus twenty eight to
-
forty four. And we're going to quickly read through, and
-
I'm going to take it and break it down. And
-
when he had thus spoken, he went before ascending up
-
to Jerusalem to talk about Jesus now. And it came
-
to pass when he was come nigh to Bethige and Bethany,
-
at the mount called the Mount of Olives, he sent
-
two of his disciples, an advanced team, to go and
-
do an assignment, saying to them, go ye into the
-
village over against you, in which at your entering ye
-
shall find a cult.
-
Somebody say, a cult? A cult? What is a cult?
-
A baby donkey, a young donkey four years an under?
-
As a cult?
-
You will find a cult tied whereon yet never man
-
sat a cult that has never been ridden by anyone.
-
And I really believe it was preserved symbolically for this.
-
Tell someone whatever's yours, it's preserved for you. Lose him
-
and bring him hither next verse thirty one. And if
-
any man asks you, why do you lose him? That
-
shall ye say unto him, because the Lord hath need
-
of him, and that they were sent. And they that
-
were sent went their way and found even as he
-
has said unto them thirty three. And as they were
-
losing the cult, the owners thereof said unto them, why
-
losey the cult? And they said, the Lord had need
-
of him thirty five. And they brought him to Jesus,
-
and they cast their garments upon the cult, and they said,
-
Jesus thereon thirty six. And as he went they spread
-
their clothes in the way. And when he was come nigh,
-
even now at the descent of the Mount of Volors,
-
the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and
-
praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty
-
works that they had seen thirty eight, saying, blessed be
-
the King that cometh in the name of the Lord,
-
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest thirty nine.
-
And some of the Pharisees turn to neighbor and say,
-
pharisees from among the multitude, Where were they in the multitude?
-
They're always Pharisees. Then naysayers, the detractors, they're unbelievers, the
-
people who want to subject God to their intellect. The pharisees,
-
they cannot accept by faith what Christ has done. They
-
want everything to make sense like it is near my ba.
-
Your mind is limited, attention to Nahbor and said, your
-
mind is limited. It cannot contain God. It cannot contain God.
-
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitudes said,
-
on say, Master, rebuke your disciples. Forty an He answered
-
and said onto them, I tell you that if they
-
should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
-
Listen.
-
This morning, the man of God told us, let everything
-
that have breath praise the Lord.
-
If you have breath in your mouth, let me hear
-
you praise God. Right now. That's good. That's good.
-
But I want to tell you, I submit to you
-
that not only living creatures praise God. Scripture tells us
-
that the heavens praise God, mountains praise God, the sea,
-
the ocean praises God. The things that we think don't
-
have life, the enemy rocks. Why because everything was created
-
by Him and everything my show for this glory. So
-
if you have the opportunity to praise God and you
-
sit down and let's hurry, the rocks will cry. I
-
don't know about you, but I don't want rocks crying
-
out in my place, because as long as I have
-
His breath in my lungs, I owe him the praise.
-
Amen.
-
And the answered and said, unto them, I tell you
-
that if they should hold their peace the stones or
-
immediately cry out forty one. And when he came near,
-
he beheld the city and wept over it. Say, and
-
Jesus wept. Say it again, and Jesus wept. There's a significance.
-
Say it again, and Jesus wept forty two, saying, if
-
thou hast known, even thou at least in this thy day,
-
the things which belong onto thy peace, but now they
-
are hid from you, if you would only recognize, identify,
-
understand the things that bring you peace, and in this
-
case the person that brings you peace, because Jesus Christ
-
is what. He's the prince of what, he's the king
-
of kings and the prince of peace. But he's saying
-
this to them, and he weeps out of compassion because
-
they didn't even understand. With all the celebration, the joyous noise,
-
and all of that going on, they still didn't even
-
understand the significance of that moment, and so they missed
-
their moment of visitation.
-
Forty three.
-
For the days shall come onto thee, that thine enemy
-
shall cast a trench about thee and encompass thee round,
-
and keep thee on every side forty four, and shall
-
lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee,
-
and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another.
-
He's talk about the enemies who are going to come
-
and raise the city down, destroy the city and even
-
with its people in it, with the adults and the
-
children alike. Because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
-
Amen.
-
So my subtopic is, do not miss your time or visitation.
-
Amen.
-
So that was a recap from last week and the
-
scripture for today. So Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry
-
into Jerusalem about a week before his past critcifixion. Now
-
this week, beginning today, Palm Sunday, it is the beginning
-
of what we call the Passion Week. How many of
-
you have heard about the moving the Passion of Christ.
-
This is not the movie we're talking about, But the
-
movie talks about what he does, and we're not talking
-
about the passion has in the things he likes. We're
-
talking about his suffering out of his compassion and wanting
-
to save, to redeem, to justify he went through this week.
-
So Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Passion week,
-
and it leads up to Good Friday when he's crucified,
-
and then his resurrection on Sunday, three days after Amen.
-
Still on the topic of not missing your moment or
-
time of visitation. So Jesus Christ knew that he was
-
going there and he will be crucified in a few days.
-
But he was obedient even onto death on the cross,
-
to reconcile humanity to himself and to establish his kingdom
-
here on earth. So it is the last week of
-
Jesus's life, and we have a record, and all the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke,
-
and John, they all record these events, although from different perspectives.
-
I picked John because his perspective is a little different. Matthew, Mark,
-
and Luke belong to what we call the synoptic synchronized views,
-
if you will. Their their presentations of what happened in
-
Jesus' life are similar, but John takes a different perspective. Now,
-
there are some basic facts I want to give you.
-
All these gospels together comprise about ninety five chapters. Ninety
-
five chapters. Four of those chapters talk about Jesus's life
-
before his ministry began at thirty years four out of.
-
The eighty nine, the remaining eighty.
-
Five chapters talk about those three and a half years
-
of his ministry. Eighty nine chapters four talk about his
-
first thirty years, and then eighty five of the chapters
-
focus on his three and a half years of life
-
of ministry. Twenty nine of the eighty five cover the
-
Passion week, which is why the Passion week is so significant.
-
Twenty nine of those of those eighty five about his
-
three and a half years of ministry. Twenty nine of
-
those cover the Passion week, the last week of his life,
-
John chapter twelve through twenty one. Well, John's perspectives cover
-
chapter twelve through twenty one about his last week. Mark
-
and John don't really talk about the birth of Christ.
-
John spoke only about the birth in one sentence, and
-
the word became flesh. So if you're looking for a
-
Christmas message the Bird of Christ, all you're going to
-
find from them is from Mark and John is that
-
it isn't much about the birth. But John only spoke
-
one sentence and the word became flesh. It is a
-
heavenly perspective. Matthew and Luke record Jesus's birth and the annunciation.
-
They are all recorded in or about his passion. The
-
majority of the gospels talk about his passion, his suffering,
-
what he went to the cross to do, which led
-
obiously to his crucifixion.
-
Amen, just some facts for you.
-
So the triumphant entry, I believe is something that Jesus
-
orchestrated because most of the time he told his disciples,
-
don't tell anyone, do not tell anyone. But with this
-
one he goes. He enters Jerusalem on a cult at
-
a time of the feast of the Passover. See, the
-
Jews celebrated three main feasts, the Passover, the Feast of
-
the Temples and the Tabernacle, and then the last one.
-
Let the last feast. Who can tell me? Have you
-
also been studying? There are three feasts Pentecosts, So that
-
there is the feasts of the Passover, which is what
-
we're celebrating leading up to Easter, then the feast of
-
Tabernacle and the feast of Pentecost. And at the time
-
of this feast of the Passover, it is like as
-
we do now, people pilgrimage all the way to Israel,
-
to Jerusalem to see, to visit, to you know, go
-
to the whaling wall, and whatever, the same thing was
-
happening back then. And it is estimated by some historians
-
that a city which was about maybe two hundred and
-
fifty thousand capacity at that time of that feast of
-
the Passover now had about ten times the volume of people,
-
about two point five million. Now, in their tradition, every household,
-
in every household, every ten people would share one lamb
-
with sacrifice, would slaughter one lamp and observe the feast.
-
So if you had more than ten, then you would
-
kill two. If you had more than twenty, you.
-
Would kill three.
-
But if every household ten people would slaughter one lamp,
-
and it is estimated about two hundred and fifty thousand
-
lambs were killed was slaughtered doing the feast of Passuba.
-
Then do the man ten for each household times two
-
hundred and fifty thousand sheep lamps, that was two point
-
five million.
-
That's how pat the city was now.
-
In John eleven, before Jesus comes to Bethlehem, he had
-
gone and resurrected Lazarus. We all know the story of Lazarus,
-
his friend who had passed on, and when he was
-
not well, his sisters sent for Jesus. He didn't come.
-
He waited for him to die, and it was for
-
a purpose. He wasn't just.
-
Being mean or ugly. It was for the revelation a
-
glory of God.
-
So he waited, and when Lazarus died, he went After
-
four days. Now we all know if you've experienced that,
-
I even watched already anything about death. Rigamontis sets in
-
in ours, decomposition and decay sets in. So can you
-
imagine after four days what Lazarus was like. His corps
-
had already liquefied. I want to be graphic. Magets were
-
already eating his tissue. The body was already oozing all
-
kinds of liquids. Everything that composed his body was already
-
spilling out. But Jesus waited for all that to go
-
to happen, and then went there and called for this
-
Elazra come forth. So everything in the process of decomposition
-
that had happened had to be reversed. The magas had
-
to spit up the flesh. The flesh and the tissue
-
had to be recomposed. The blood, the plasma, the red
-
blood cells, the white blood cells, all of that had
-
to be recomposed, and the skin had to come back together,
-
all the mascle, the tissues, all his organs, for him
-
to come forth as a living being, as a man
-
as we knew him before his death.
-
Think about that.
-
Now, there were people with him who witnessed that miracle,
-
and so like people do, they had already started going
-
and talking about it. So word went forth to Jerusalem
-
before Jesus got there, and so there was a great expectation.
-
So as he was coming, and as they would normally
-
do during the feast of Pasova in the tradition, they
-
would resume some one one eight. The main focus I
-
want to have is versus twenty five and twenty six
-
versus twenty five and twenty six some one one eight,
-
So I pass over. They would reside and change that.
-
But it says save now. And when you study the
-
word save now, it's translated as Hosanna, hosanna. So when
-
we are waving this palm, I want to understand what
-
you're doing. When you're waving the palm and you're shouting Hosannah,
-
you're saying save now.
-
But who has the power to save Jesus Christ the Messiah.
-
So in one fell sweep you are asking the Lord
-
for the salvation. But you're also acknowledging that he is
-
the Messiah, because the Messiah couldn't come from any other
-
blood line except for the blood line of the tribe
-
of Judah and of David, the king, who Jesus was
-
a descendant of. That's why the blind people said, now,
-
son of David, have mercy on me. They were testifying
-
to the fact that that was his bloodline and that
-
indeed he was the Messiah.
-
So can you put the scripture back twenty five.
-
Some one money twenty five say now I b CCO Lord,
-
Oh Lord, I be CD send prosperity. Send now, prosperity.
-
Twenty six. Blessed be he that cometh in the name
-
of the Lord. We have blessed you out of the
-
house of the Lord, out of the house of the Lord,
-
out of the lineage of God, the Messianic.
-
Lineage.
-
He was talking about. That he is indeed the son
-
of God and the son of David. So he came
-
from that blood line, so it acknowledges who he is.
-
So the people were following Jesus chanting that.
-
Now. Customarily, when a king or a hero of.
-
War, a general of war had gone out on a
-
campaign and came back to Senseful. It would come back
-
the same path, enter into the city, and the same jubilation, joyous, chanting,
-
and adoration would be going on the same people. Now
-
think of this. When the king would come, he would
-
normally sit on a white horse or drawn by chariots.
-
When a war hero would come, they have a war horse,
-
the horse that accompanied him to war.
-
He would ride that.
-
Now Jesus, who is also a king, but the king
-
of kings comes and he asks for a donkey that
-
seems to be at odds. Every king or every noble
-
person comes and they ride something that is, you know,
-
commensurate with their class, with their level, and they have
-
classes anyway, chariots and those kinds of horses were nobility
-
and kings, and then normal people, you know, middle class
-
and some you know war heroes that would do the
-
state of nice healthy horse. And then the poor people,
-
the working class, would ride donkeys. Jesus, the King of Kings,
-
entered triumphantly into Jerusalem on a donkey. Now those kings
-
would be coming back from conquest. But Jesus had not
-
gone to any conquest yet. He was now entering Jerusalem
-
to go now to do battle, where he would conquer
-
death and dismantle the power of sin. So he is hailed,
-
enters triumphantly, but he is now about to in opposition
-
to those who came were already conquered. The symbolism of
-
what I'm to get I'm trying to get across to you,
-
is that Jesus humbled himself. He brought himself down to
-
the level of the lowest in society. He rode a cult,
-
a donkey, or as the Bible says, an ass when
-
he is a king and could have ridden a chariot
-
or a white, you know, majestic horse, or even if
-
he wanted to consider him a hero, he would have
-
ridden a war horse, a horse specifically trained for battle
-
so that the rider wouldn't fall victim. The horse and
-
the rider became one. When you read about the training
-
of those war horses, they were so sensitive towards going
-
the slightest move of the rider. They would comply because
-
there had to be an extension. The hors could be
-
going one way and the writer going one way. Catastrophe.
-
But Jesus rode an ass, a donkey, He humbled himself.
-
A man turned to your neighbor and self, tell you
-
turn to your neighbor and say, humble yourself.
-
That king of kings rode a donkey.
-
Sometimes we get puffed up with a little bit of
-
you know, position, a little title, and we think, you know,
-
we're up here and everybody is down here. But it's
-
not about titles and positions. Jesus Christ had compassion for souls,
-
for souls, so much soul that he died. He took
-
your place, became sin, became a curse. Hadn't done anything wrong,
-
knew no sin. But because of his compassion, because he
-
was concerned about winning souls. He didn't want anybody to
-
die in their sin, but that all men should come
-
to repentance so that they could reign with him in eternity.
-
And the only way he could do that because no
-
one's perfect. There wasn't any perfect blood, There wasn't any
-
perfect sacrifice.
-
So he had to come and shed his own blood.
-
I don't know about that, but that's a good place
-
to praise God and to thank him. Oh come on,
-
are you grateful that he came and he died for you?
-
Because if you were left to judge in your sin,
-
no man would stun judgment. I said last week, it
-
is a fearful thing, a warful thing, to fall judgment
-
to the wrath of God. Because God is a just god,
-
he must judge sin. Although he's merciful and gives you
-
another chance, he must judge. So if he were to judge,
-
none of us would qualify. But for Jesus, don't you
-
aine and say, but for Jesus. So Jesus shed his blood,
-
and his blood copies you. So anytime God looks at you,
-
he doesn't see your sin. He sees the blood of Jesus,
-
the pure, efficacious, spartless, blameless, untainted blood of Jesus Christ.
-
That is what gives you access that you can come
-
boldly so when you have a chance to praise him,
-
when you sit down, it's in gratitude. It's in gratitude
-
for somebody to offer himself as a sacrifice, die in
-
your place to redeem you, and then you just think like,
-
I'm too tired to praise you. I guarantee you, if
-
they were to bring a guillotine right now and ask
-
your mind or your father to die for something you
-
have done, they probably wouldn't. I know, I don't care
-
how much I love you, how much friendly we are.
-
If they brought a guilty and said, your your friend
-
has done this and that, so come let's cut you
-
off your head for his says Charlie, this is your moment.
-
So every chance you get, I want to hear you shout.
-
Come on, not just to make noise, shout in gratitude.
-
Understand what you're doing. Be purposeful about it, be intentional
-
about it. Are you grateful that he came and he
-
died for you, that he took your place? Do you
-
understand what he did? Do you understand what we are
-
celebrating Palm Sunday? Do you understand? Ask your neighbor do
-
you understand it?
-
Now?
-
Further studies showed that there was actually there were actually
-
two donkeys. Because you see, the colt only goes where
-
the mother goes. Just like in the natural children's think
-
to their mummy, mommy, mommy, wherever she's going, mommy. Same
-
thing with the colt. It won't go anywhere unless his
-
mother is going. So actually two donkeys were brought to
-
Christ because the colt would only go where the mother goes.
-
But it was a colt that no one had ever ridden.
-
That's why I told you, whatever is preserved reserved for
-
you whatever God has for you, it is for you.
-
You have to understand and know it and claim it
-
by faith.
-
Amen. Faith with our works is what and what is
-
the definition of faith?
-
It is let's say together. They're not in there. I
-
don't want to mention that school, but come on, let's
-
say it together. Faith is a one.
-
Amen.
-
That's demand you put on it. That belief that you
-
have in Jesus Christ is what causes it to manifest.
-
It is as if you have faith the size of
-
a mustard seed, you can do what. So if you
-
don't exercize your faith, faith is dead.
-
It is useless.
-
So Jesus the king of King's rhoda donkey, a cult,
-
a symbol of humility. He was not returning from conquest.
-
He was going into conquest to conquer death and to
-
destroy the power of sin. But at that time there
-
were millions of people, thousands, hundreds of thousands of people
-
in Jerusalem who had come to celebrate that feast from
-
all over the world. So Jesus didn't just come to
-
die for the Jews, because at that moment it wasn't
-
just the city didn't just comprise Jews, it comprised people
-
from all over the world, Jews and Gentiles alike. So
-
now understand the gravity of what he did. There were
-
people from all over the world, Jews and Gentiles alike. Now,
-
as he was approaching, Scripture tells us that he wept.
-
Why did Jesus weep? Can somebody tell me I have
-
already said it if you were paying attention. Why did
-
he weep? The first time he wept was that Lazarus's tomb.
-
The second time was as he was approaching Jerusalem and
-
he cast his eyes upon the city.
-
Okay, in dangers of time.
-
He wept because he felt compassion and Lazar's's death. You
-
know when your boy dies, When your buddy buddy dies,
-
you feel sad. So he's out of compassion, out of
-
the brotherly love that he had for him. But this time,
-
as he was approaching Jerusalem and he wept, he was
-
weeping because of their spiritual ignorance. Here is the Prince
-
of peace, the very embodiment of peace, and Christ was
-
weeping because he could see prophetically that barely seventy years
-
from this event, their enemies, as the scripture said, we're
-
going to encamp around them and raise the city to
-
rubble and destroy, not just the adults, but their kids.
-
With the adults, turn't to your neighbors, say watch what
-
you desire, what brings you happiness, because the choices you
-
make now can spell destruction for you.
-
Jesus is the one.
-
Who could bring peace and cause even your enemies to
-
be at peace with you. Was physically there, but they
-
couldn't understand the significance of his presence. They were just
-
caught up in the moment Hozanna, Hellelujah, the King, blah
-
blah blah. But they didn't even understand and they didn't
-
have their understanding that there was a time coming that
-
because they didn't recognize Jesus and what he could do
-
for them, that they were going to fall prey to destruction.
-
But the destruction wasn't just for the adults who are
-
better understanding. Scripture says, it's going to kill them, destroyed
-
them and their children. So the choices you make now
-
are not just about you, about your future and the
-
future of your seat. That's how generational curses begin. One
-
person enters into something, or steps out of line, or
-
contacts something, does something that is untoward, out of line
-
with the scripture, and it invokes a conditional situation occurs
-
that now transcends them into other generations. So the choices
-
you make now, and that's why I keep saying, do
-
not miss your moment of visitation, because all you have
-
is now.
-
And if you're not alert, if you're not king, if you.
-
Don't pray for discernment, illumination, understanding, revelation of the moment
-
of the times you're living in, you make certain choices.
-
Because I told you last week, this flesh likes conflict,
-
likes to chill, doesn't want any stress.
-
But your spirit.
-
Identifies best waters. The spirit is inclined, and that's why
-
the spirit must lead. The spirit should not be subject
-
to the desires of your flesh. The flesh will always
-
bring destruction. The flesh will lead you to make choices
-
that will lead you a certain way, and the end
-
of it is always destruction, not just for you, but
-
even for your generations. So Jesus wept because of their
-
spiritual ignorance. He was coming to enter into a spiritual battle,
-
not a physical battle. He was going to die, to
-
conquer death and to destroy the power of sin, the
-
sin which cuts us off from our source, which leads
-
us to die naturally.
-
That's what he came to do, but they didn't get it.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say, get it, because your
-
life depends on it. So as he approached Jerusalem, his
-
heart was heavy.
-
So the contradiction is there.
-
While all the celebration and rejoicing was going on, Jesus
-
was sobbing. There's a difference between weeping and sobbing. Sobbing
-
is when it's allowed. Say, when you weep or you're
-
shedding tears, if you're five, you can't see maybe a
-
tale ruder, But when you're sobbing, you're making noise with it.
-
Because he was heavy, knowing what they were about to face,
-
but they themselves, who were in the situation, didn't get
-
spiritual ignorance and stubbornness will lead to your destruction. They
-
despise the very thing, the very person that brings them peace,
-
and pursue the wrong things. Same as we do today.
-
Nothing has changed. You know what the Word of God says,
-
You know what he commands you to do. But oh
-
that moment where you just wanted just a little something,
-
I just want to you know, don't look at me.
-
Nothing you did last night, that movie you watched last night,
-
that book, you read last night, that call you made
-
last night, that chat you had last night. See, he
-
gives you another chance. Why are you saying it gives
-
you a second chance? Means he's counting, but he's not counting.
-
He gives you another chance, and then another one, and
-
then another one. But Scripture says, if he's giving you
-
that grace, does it mean you have to keep singing?
-
Because at some point there's going to be a cut off.
-
We do that with our children naturally, when your child
-
is doing something, Hey, jerny, won't he no boo? And
-
then at some point you're like, yes, at some point,
-
God is going to at some point, it's going not
-
because he wants to punish you, because he loves you,
-
because the only chastises.
-
So you have to connect the word.
-
Sometimes they don't exist in a vacuum.
-
If you're gonna do it, do it, well, you're not
-
doing it for me.
-
You two can start it a whether you can say
-
that you're talking about God. The Prince of Peice was
-
among them, and yet they didn't even recognize he could
-
have quelled all those impending battles that would destroy their
-
city and destroy their lives, But they didn't get it.
-
They didn't understand. They missed their moment of visitation. Tell
-
your neighbor, do not miss your moment of visitation. See
-
make sure that whatever you pursue.
-
A life, the.
-
Happiness you're looking for, doesn't bring you destruction, because your
-
choices may not only affect you, as I've told you,
-
may affect your generations. And that is demonstrated in Luke
-
chapter nineteen, verse forty three and forty four. I think
-
we read that Luke chapter nineteen Versee. I want to
-
stress it because sometimes in that moment of weakness, when
-
you feel just it's just when nothing's going to happen,
-
Let me just do this, and then you know I
-
can repent.
-
You can do it. And right after you finish, God
-
calls you.
-
Whilst at it odivo in the heat of the moments,
-
and when he was come there he build a city. No, no, no,
-
is not the one forty three and forty four. Forty three,
-
For the day shall come upon thee that that an
-
enemy shot counts to trench your body and compass around there,
-
and keep thee forty four, and shall lay thee even
-
to the ground, and thy children within thee. And they
-
shall not leave in the one stone upon another.
-
He's likeing this to the city.
-
But that's exactly what the enemy would do to you
-
because thou knewest not your time of visitation. It's so
-
important that I can't stress it enough. Do not miss
-
your moment of visitation. And I keep saying that this
-
whole Easter we need to understand because we go through that,
-
You're gone into this thing.
-
You're born in church, you go.
-
You go to church on Sunday, we celebrate Easter. What
-
is the stern?
-
We just.
-
You just form and fashion. I was told to go
-
to a shore, I go. So the whole time you're
-
in jourge your life. Have we done yet? Have we
-
done yet? You don't really understand why. You don't even
-
understand why you're waiving this or what this symbolizes. But
-
we are to be intentional. We are to be committed. Listen,
-
you cannot be Lukewarmer. The moment you accept Christ, you
-
have chosen. You have joined the military academy because you
-
are in war battle. You haven't come to dress up
-
and look nice and do your peruviana and do your
-
nails and get your swag and just sit down there.
-
We are in a battle for souls. The time is up.
-
These are the in times. Satan knows their adversary, knows
-
misery loves company. That's what the English says. He doesn't
-
want to do that alone. He wants to do it
-
with somebody, some people, and as long as you allow it,
-
he will recruit you. So either you are gathering on
-
the side of the Kingdom of God, or you're scattering
-
on the side of Satan. Or give him some praise.
-
But while you're praising, make sure you know where your
-
choice is. So Hosannah means salvation now, save now, And
-
the only one who can save is Jesus the Christ.
-
And we are to be alert, aware of the times,
-
so that we do not miss our time of visitation.
-
And if you're here today hearing this word, this is
-
your time of visitation. I may be the one the
-
vessel standing here that the Lord is using to tell you,
-
but make no mistake, these are not my words. That scripture,
-
that's the word of God. So it is God talking
-
to you. God talks to us through his word, through dreams,
-
through visions, his word. So that's God talking to you.
-
As he has given it. I'm releasing it to you.
-
But last week I said something. If you have heard
-
the word of God, then all of heaven and all
-
of earth bears witness that on this.
-
Day you heard.
-
God wanted you to hear. It entered into your eargates,
-
It ended into your mind, into your heart. So the
-
choice is yours. But make no mistake. Whatever choice you make,
-
you will account for good choice, bad choice. But you see,
-
God is a gentleman. Whatever choice you make, your right.
-
You choose to fool, you're right. If you choose to
-
be serious, you're right. He gave you what free will,
-
but I said, choose you this day. I've given you
-
the free will, but I'm presenting to you life and death.
-
Choose you this day.
-
As you're hearing the word, do not miss your time
-
or visitation this on this Palm Sunday, understanding what it
-
means to you as a Christian.
-
Do not.
-
Don't walk out of your thinking, Oh, wait next week
-
when I have the nice new dress, or when I
-
have those heels on, or next week when I can
-
come with manson so that she knows. Oh, I'll get
-
my boys, boys, so we can come and chill. We'll
-
come and dance. All you have is now the moment
-
that you are in. So if you've heard the word
-
of God today and you have a choice to make,
-
and you decide that not today, maybe next week. Oh
-
I'll give my left Christ when I'm older. Right now,
-
I want to do some things. I want to chill.
-
I want to experience a life. There's no other life
-
anywhere than the life in Christ. The life you're talking
-
about is destruction. Oh yeah, the life you are talking about.
-
The enjoyment you're talking about, leads to distraction. See you sin,
-
you transgress when you make a lifestyle of it. It
-
becomes iniquity. When you dwell in iniquity. That means your
-
conscience is seared you at that place where you think,
-
say anmity, I'm not going to change me, answer me.
-
This is what I do need a mindset revolution as
-
a man thinketh So, if you think says say yes,
-
say I will, it is how you remain. But they
-
say I that you want to remain? Where is it
-
taking you? I want to invite you now having heard
-
this word, do not miss your moment of visitation, because
-
God can decide right now to blow those trumpets, roll the.
-
Sky back and come.
-
And on the day of accountability is you are going
-
to be you and your friends, you and your mother.
-
You and your father. On my one You're all being alive.
-
To be you and God, each man for himself, God
-
for us, all while you'll be facing God phely peely.
-
What account are you going to give to him? When
-
he tells you on this day? What is the day? Today?
-
Thirteenth of April. Sandra Vranko fort to tell you that
-
this is your.
-
Moment, but you chose.
-
Always remember it's a choice that you make. Even if
-
somebody is influencing you and they says, oh, don't go.
-
These people don't judge people you hear it.
-
What did you do with what you hear? Scriptures like
-
the day that you hear my heart and not your heart.
-
So if somebody's telling you don't go, remember that on
-
that day, they won't be there to take the blame
-
for causing you to mis But you made the choice
-
to listen to what they're telling you. So I want
-
to invite you now in all seriousness, and I need
-
judge if you're here. You're saved. You've accepted Jesus Christ
-
as your Lord and savior. You believe in your heart,
-
and you've confessed with your mouth that he is the
-
son of God, that he came to earth, died, was buried,
-
died on the cross, a shameful, sinful, cursed.
-
Death for you. That he rose on the thirty.
-
If you believe that, then I need you to pray,
-
because the same way somebody preached to you and you
-
God saved.
-
It's someone's turn. But guess what.
-
If you know it and you don't do it, the
-
blood will be required of your your hands.
-
God will ask you.
-
So you knew better. I called somebody to preach to you,
-
and you got saved. But when it got to their term,
-
you just sat down. Then content if you go, if
-
you're going to accept, go you're not praying. This is
-
the most serious part of the service. Not the scripture,
-
not the singing, this this part, because this is what
-
we are signed to do.
-
This is what we're called to do.
-
Go out then windsors preaches wed and go out the
-
wind soles, because that's what he came to die for souls,
-
to reconcile man unto himself, so that we could go
-
and reign with him in eternity. So if you're hearing
-
the world and you're not sure that you're saved, that
-
Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior, that if he
-
comes now, you're not going back with him.
-
I need you to come to the altar.
-
Don't worry about what you're wearing, don't worry about who
-
is next to you, because on that day they can't
-
answer for you anyway. And you think it's hot these days,
-
try hell.
-
Come.
-
I want to invite you church. Pray, pray, don't be spectating.
-
This is not a time to look around. If you're
-
saved and you know what Jesus Christ has done for you,
-
understand you are intentions, your purpose about what he has done.
-
And I need you to pray that his spirit would
-
move in this place because the next moment is not
-
promised to anyone.
-
I lived in New Orleans for a while.
-
In New Orleans, a man of God stood in the
-
pulpit preach the word of God powerfully. And then when
-
he finished, he said, I think I hear the Spirit
-
of God calling me, calling my name. He went and
-
sat down in his chair, and then right than the pulpit,
-
after you preached in front of the whole congregation, he
-
got called home. Right after finishing preaching. The next moment
-
is not promise to you. You don't know what's going
-
to happen when you step out of here. You don't
-
know what's going to happen five minutes from now. But
-
God knows. That's why he's giving you this opportunity. Come
-
make the choice.
-
Listen. I liking it to buy insurance.
-
When you have a new car, you have something valuable,
-
you encourage to insure it. When you're paying the premium
-
is painful because you're like, ah, they doesn't crash. What
-
am I paying money? I've been stolen the golden watch?
-
What am I pay? Am I insuring it? But that
-
day that you have an accident and you have to
-
come out of your pocket to pay for your car
-
and the car that you hit, you will understand the
-
value of insurance same way. The day you get called home.
-
Right now, you're thinking, well, this thing cry, I feel
-
I'm not sure.
-
Is there God? Grid?
-
We know?
-
Is there? Heaven? Is there hell?
-
You want to wait to find out the day you
-
get called home, you get to heaven and there's a God. Hey,
-
that's hell.
-
Jesus.
-
Wait, let me go back to church and let me
-
go ahead. Accept too late by the insurance Now, if
-
at the end of it all there's no God, which
-
I believe there is a God, and if you're saved,
-
you believe that's what you believe.
-
But if there is nothing, what have you lost? It's
-
free self Asian is free.
-
You can't buy it, you can't pay money for it.
-
I like insurance. You can't work, you can't do anything.
-
Your righteousness is as what if it's not that, then
-
you won't qualify anyway. But if he's done for it, free,
-
free gift, you still won't do it. Let it be
-
recorded that you may the choice.
-
Today.
-
I want to invite you to come. I've spoken enough.
-
I don't need to pump you up. You all understanding adults,
-
young adults, come on. If you don't know him in
-
the pardon of your sins, as your Lord and savior,
-
God bless you.
-
Come on, come on, come on.
-
What does the scripture say? Listen, you have to come
-
on now, let us scripture come alive. Is that when
-
one one, one person, one soul is one all of heaven,
-
with the innumerable loss of angels, they rejoice, they celebrate.
-
You're sitting here.
-
That someone is someone is saying, somebody preached for you.
-
To say, come on, don't look at anybody, because on
-
that day it will be you and God, and it
-
will remind you of this day, of this hour that
-
you heard. I want to invite you.
-
Come. Come, the blood will not be on my hands. Come.
-
Don't worry about your mother. Can't save your father, can't
-
save you, no matter how might say. Love you, your
-
brothers and sisters, your friends, unless you're planning to meet
-
in hell. Come, this is your moment of visitation. Come,
-
Come church. Are you praying, because if we're not praying,
-
if we're not serious about this, someone can leave here
-
and literally be called home and they're going to end
-
up in the wrong place. Don't take it. Don't be
-
looking at me. I'm not here to entertain you. You
-
should be looking to Christ and what he did on
-
the on the cross for you. And it wasn't just
-
for you. Just like you read in scripture, many people
-
were injury. Jesus Christ was going there to die, not
-
just for the Jews, but for the Gentiles also everybody.
-
He did this for everybody. Everybody has a share in this,
-
but you.
-
Have to accept, you have to step up and claim
-
your share. Is everybody here saved? Turn to your neighbor
-
and ask them, are you saved to you? Have you
-
accepted the gift of salvation? Ask them and get an answer.
-
If Jesus comes now, are you sure you're going back?
-
Last week I said it like parents go to school
-
to pick up their kids. After school, do they go
-
up and pick up all the kids? Where you go,
-
you go for yours.
-
If you have a son, if you have a daughter,
-
you're going to pick up your daughter and you go home.
-
Same thing. When Jesus comes is coming for years those
-
who have accepted him. If you haven't accepted.
-
Him, you don't belong to him. You belong to somebody else.
-
And trust me, it's also coming for you. Come on,
-
we're closing, but this is a very important time. We
-
thank God for our sister's life. Come, come, God bless you.
-
It's the best decision you make. God is going to say, welcome,
-
Well done, you heard the word. You didn't miss your
-
moment of visitation. God bless you. Anybody else. Don't just
-
sit down and look or whatever you're planning to grand do.
-
It's not that important. Do this. Seek you first, and
-
all those things that you want. Why do you think
-
you get your good desires from you. Want a house,
-
you want a car, you want a good job. What
-
do you think God? All the good tis It's from Him.
-
Every good and perfect gift comes away. What are you
-
telling me?
-
You he's giving you the formula. You come to me,
-
You accept me first. All of it belongs to me. Anyway,
-
a countle on a thousand hills, All the gold belongs
-
to me. Come on, come on, last time. Come on,
-
I'm done talking. If you don't make the choice, I
-
can't force you. I can bring you to the river.
-
You can bring the horse to the river. You can't
-
force it to drink. If you're not ready to drink,
-
have your way, have your choice. But if you're really serious,
-
if you really have an understanding of what has happened
-
here today, come.
-
Going once. Come on. God loves you, Jesus loves you.
-
You came to die for you. Your friends won't die
-
for you. I guarantee even your mother and father won't
-
die for you. Come on, I.
-
Guarantee they will cry, they will weep, they will plead,
-
but they're not going to put their head on it.
-
Come on, come on, come on, come on.
-
Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, having this rechoice aren't too excited.
-
It can happen.
-
Anybody can step out of here and then book that.
-
Come on, come on, don't just sit down there and look.
-
I don't care how tired you are, hungry. Just five
-
minutes is not.
-
Gonna kill you. But pray, pray for souls. Pray.
-
Listen, even your prayer that God, the spirit of God
-
would move to convict hearts for them to come.
-
Get You get credit. You think God is God is
-
not just sitting there. Okay, you did that.
-
So what.
-
You prayed on that when my brother and our sisters.
-
If you were praying, well done, you may not have
-
had the chance to talk to them, but to pray
-
that my spirit would move and convict them for them
-
to come.
-
You have the sharing this.
-
You get dividends. Amen, you get a crown of what
-
you know what? The scripture says, one last time, anybody, anybody, anybody,
-
it's free.
-
I'm not doing it. Jesus is doing it. I can't
-
do it for you and probably wouldn't even do it
-
for you. I don't know you that well. I don't
-
like you that much. I want to say it myself. Well, Church,
-
give God some praise. Come on, come on, come on,
-
come on, come on, come on, brother and our sisters here.
-
I've not missed. I want to tell you.
-
The scripture says, before you were your mother's womb, he
-
knew you, He called you by name, set you aparty,
-
sanctified you for this day. Nothing surprises God. He knew
-
this day that you were coming to this altar. You
-
didn't choose him, He chose you. All you have done
-
is exercised the choice, the free will that he gave
-
you to accept him, and he will bless you for it. Now,
-
the scripture says, if you believe in your heart and
-
you can fuss with you now that Jesus Christ is
-
the Son of God and died was buried in rose,
-
then you should be saved. So I want to lead
-
you in a prayer right now. I want to repeat
-
them to me. Or bless the Lord. It's not too late,
-
It's never too late. Come come, come, come on, feel excited, church,
-
Come on, pray, pray to him. They are going to
-
heaven or they're not going to bad. They're not going
-
to tell you. See they are going to heaven. You
-
will see them in heaven.
-
If you say you're faith, if you say you've accepted
-
Jesus Christ. You believe it. They are doing the same.
-
You will meet them in heaven.
-
Anybody else. It's never too late. Even if I pray,
-
if you feel loved by this way, come, I pray
-
that you are. I want you to repeat them to me.
-
Dear Jesus, thank you for the gifts of salvation. I believe,
-
I believe. I believe that you are the son of
-
Jesus of God. You are the son of God. That
-
you came to earth, died, suffered, and was buried. But
-
on the third day you rose from the dead, and
-
you are seated in heaven at the right hand of God.
-
And you will come back to claim your own and
-
today according to your scripture.
-
Because I've believed in my heart and I've confessed with
-
my mouth, your word says I am saved, I am saved,
-
I am saved.
-
It is done.
-
It's just that simple church. Give God some praise. Want
-
to welcome you and bhable by Archbishop and Bishop Joel.
-
This is next gen church. This is where we share
-
the word of God. We have all of God's children.
-
We have been given the benefit, we have accepted, and
-
we want the same for you. That God will show
-
for the lightning in your life, and he will bless you,
-
and he will meet you at every point of need.
-
Whatever concervative he will do. Fail, I fail. I feel
-
you are now a part of God's kingdom.
