Hallelujah. Amen. Before you are ceded, a biological father has
-
the responsibility to tell you about your history and where
-
you've come from the responsibility of a spiritual father is
-
to show you where you are going. Your biological father
-
will bring to closure your palts. Your spiritual father opens
-
up your future, the door to your future. When John
-
the Baptist was beheaded, his blood sealed the Old Testament.
-
When Jesus said his blood, He's blood opened a new Testament. Amen.
-
One of the things that I bishop and all the
-
Pastoria team that by couse grace, twice a month, I'm
-
gonna come and worship with you because I feel like
-
God is God is broad and endowed me with a
-
lot that belongs to you, and it's time to start
-
impattering it by engaging you and spending more time with you.
-
So once a month we're going to have a movie
-
night Friday. We're gonna have a movie night with popcorns
-
and drinks and we just want to come around chill
-
and fellowship. Also, don't forget that I build a basketball
-
uh what do you call it? Over courtier for you
-
tennis ball caught everything. So make sure that on Saturdays
-
you make time to come around and have fun. You know,
-
it's for you to have fun. So if you're not
-
having fun, you are saying okay, yeah, yeah, it's a
-
big scene. So I forgive you. I forgive all your
-
sins in Jesus name. But it's time to have fun.
-
Because isolation leads to elimination. And if you don't start
-
fellowship with each other, you can start airing. You can
-
air easily when you're alone and you air. So you
-
have to connect somebody. Connectivity, Connect, Tell somebody connect. Connect.
-
It's important to connect themen. So something that I want
-
to do will play a tape. I asked Justice Unique
-
Ending of the Supreme Court to join us here and
-
once a man will have him. I'm taking in Liberty
-
as the photo of the house, to have him come
-
once a month and just come around and share. Because
-
he's come a long way. He comes from where I
-
grew up at wah. I grew up in a place
-
called Wapay, you know, and we used to hang at
-
dun Dully and went to primary school, you know. So
-
he's come from my background. That is where he's from.
-
I was just saying there, but God has brought us
-
through a long journey and his excel grown and exalted
-
to the highest court of the land as a Supreme
-
Court justice. So this is what I want to do.
-
They're gonna play a tape. Once you're playing the video tape,
-
I want everybody to write a question, question you have
-
on your mind that you need an answer, and don't
-
write your name. We don't want to know who asked
-
that question. But we want to talk about some things,
-
and we do this once a month. We want to
-
know what you're thinking, what's good on in your mind,
-
some of the challenges you are facing, you know, and
-
we want to start addressing issues. You know. Somebody somebody
-
asked me the other day, is it a saying to masturbate?
-
It's a zerious question. And I answered it and he
-
said why is it in the Bible? And I said,
-
it's in the category in the Bible of self and dodgence.
-
Say self and dodgience. It's one of the greatest problems
-
we have in Africa today where everybody is thinking about
-
themselves selves. Self and self is the womb of sain
-
all sain. Self is the womb of all sin. So
-
there are issues and there are questions. Sit down, we're
-
going to put justice at the video. I want you
-
to get a pen and paper, start writing questions. Then pastors,
-
I want the pastors to go around, pick up the
-
questions and bring you to justice. We want to hear
-
some of your concerns and your questions. We know you
-
have a lot of questions. Some of you are having
-
all kinds of strange dreams. You have a dream where
-
you see dead lab ones, you have been fought by
-
a lion, a snake. You see yourself in all kinds
-
of things in your dreams, very very nightmares, and all
-
kinds of challenges in your dreams. We want you to
-
ask questions. Unlets see how best we can help you,
-
and how we can put a plan together to help
-
not just answer your questions, but to deal with them.
-
March tw twenty two. Denying the Bible says you err
-
because you know not the truth. You err because you
-
don't know the scriptures. When you have knowledge of the scriptures,
-
it gives you an upper hand. Say an upper hand, say,
-
understanding of scripture gives one an advantage in life. Ignorance
-
of scripture would disadvantage you. So you need to know
-
the word. You need to know how And it's one
-
of the things I'm going to teach you. Maybe next
-
week I'll come. This is what we're gonna do in life.
-
The scriptures are designed to speak to your situation and
-
to speak on your behalf. When the devil came to
-
tell Jesus, Jesus allowed the scriptures to speak, and the
-
enemy bowed and left him because he referred the situation
-
to the scriptures. When you know the scriptures, see if
-
you can get a seat for those fanning places. When
-
you know the scriptures and you allow the scriptures to
-
for you and the scriptures to speak in your situation,
-
you will always have the upper hand. So write your
-
questions right now. Please give it to the pastors. And
-
if there's a way, we can also put it on
-
the screen. I don't know how we do that. If
-
there's a way we can do that, If you can
-
put some a number or something on the screen where
-
we send our questions, okay, then justice will Really there's
-
a song I want to teach you quickly. We know
-
no defeat. We know no defeat. Jesus is our company
-
and we know no defeat. That's it. Can you sing it?
-
Want to go club? Listen? I'm the choir master. I
-
would disqualify you if you sing this way. Want to
-
go m h all right? So it put the video
-
on the screen and Justice will take your ancest for
-
the next forty five minutes, and then we'll worship and
-
our big uncle and the pastoral team will show us
-
what to do, and then we'll close for an eyemen.
-
All right, put a video on the screen.
-

-
As a lawyer, his areas of expertise included investments, securities,

-
of the inaugural class of the Africa Leadership Initiative West
-
Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

He also served as an examiner at the Ghana School
-

-
sixth May twenty twenty. He became the first Ghanaian from
-
the Upper Way region to be appointed to serve on
-
Goda's highest Court of jurisdiction. His appointment also now makes
-
him a part of a small group of persons who
-
were called to the Supreme Court bench directly from the bar.
-
He is a Christian, married and a father of four children. Bishops, Pastors,
-
ladies and gentlemen, with a round of applause and a
-
standing ovation to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let's
-
welcome to the pulpit of the next gen Church, his Lordship,
-
Justice Emmanuel Yanni Kolendi.
-
Please that's next resume as seats Yeah, Papa, as we
-
all affectionately call His Eminence, because there's a home environment.
-
Papa, I can't thank you enough.
-
For the privilege to fellowship with the next generation.
-
And thanks too.
-
Fast as you come, Lady Renie, and I see my
-
sweetheart the bishop's bishop, and thanks for the good work
-
you guys are doing here, and I'm just delighted to
-
be here. Papa and I agreed that we will approach
-
this differently. I'm sure every Sunday you get preached to,
-
and that's the work of the bishops here. I'm your
-
big brother, big uncle. I've done the whole line and
-
still trying.
-
So I've been where you have been, way behind. Where
-
are your crackheads? Me as a wack kid, you know,
-
and so we have a sense that wild you hear
-
all these semons. As young people with very rich and
-
intriguing minds, you have all manner of questions, ideas, anxieties,
-
things that are not clear to you. Somehow you're not
-
normally able to act parents. My daughter is here, she's
-
twenty twenty six, twenty seven, and she's a lawyer. Don't
-
clap yet. I thought she was my sweetheart, but I discovered,
-
to my disappointment, that she doesn't consider me the easiest
-
person to talk to. But what that tells me is
-
that all of us find it a little difficult and
-
tricky to talk to mom or dad about various things.
-
The risk is that you then end up because curiosity
-
is curiosity, aither talking to the wrong person and getting
-
the wrong answer, or observing the wrong person and copying
-
the wrong example. And that is the trick that the
-
devil uses. Okay, a Bible teaches us, you teach a
-
child the way they should go, and when they grow
-
they will not depart from it. Unfortunately, the enemy knows
-
these scriptures. So the enemy is busy trying to teach
-
you ways you should go, because the enemy knows that
-
if you get enties induced and lead into certain ways
-
now in the youth, in your youth, when you grow,
-
you will struggle. And Papa and the bishops say, if
-
they begin to tell you those of us you see
-
working around as adults the kinds of things that sometimes
-
we're struggling with because we missed it. Papa doesn't want
-
you to miss it. Yeah, he doesn't want you to
-
miss it. This is why God has laid this on
-
his heart, that it doesn't matter what you do, if
-
you get a firm foundation and you are built up
-
and rooted in our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Your
-
cats to prevail, your cat, to succeed, your cat, to win.
-
He did it before, and so he knows that it's
-
an example that works a lot of the big guys
-
you see today, some carrying themselves as if they were
-
his peers.
-
They are not.
-
He was young, but God arrested him early and used
-
him as a young teacher and mentor and instructor and
-
began this movement. So I can say, with a few
-
of contradiction, all the revenues with annabers you see that
-
he would mails their mpir coffees were people that Paper
-
started working with when they were in secondary school, at
-
motor school, before they got into university, et cetera, et cetera.
-
And that is why they have grown to be the
-
giants that they are today spiritually. And as for those
-
who are professionals, you can't even begin to count them.
-
So this is to teach you the winning.
-
Ways, the way to grow to be able to achieve
-
everything that you have dreamt of, that you think of,
-
that you relish, that you admired, that you want to be,
-
but plus more, because what you get in Christ is
-
you get eternity that is guaranteed, so you secure for
-
yourself your visa to Heaven.
-
That's what you get in Christ.
-
But above all, if you work and walk in the
-
will of God, his word becomes light to your feet.
-
And then you will gain dominion on this earth. You
-
know what dominion means. Dominion means you will soo pretend
-
you like self. You will dominate, You will be in charge,
-
you will command, You will cause things to be the
-
way you want them to be. And then the world
-
and all the things you see in this world, those
-
things will save you. You will not save them. The
-
people of the world. Save the things of the world.
-
The children of light, which is what you are called
-
to be, have the things of the world's seven ass
-
And that's purpose vision and his dream for you, and
-
is the reason want to have these encounters. So in
-
this meeting today, the parting is different. There's no preaching.
-
There's a conversation, and it's meant to be interactive. And
-
take it from me. There is no question you will ask.
-
That is a foolish question. There can only be an
-
answer from me that will be a foolish answer.
-
So feel free to.
-
Ask just about any question on your mind, anything you
-
have been struggling with. We're doing this as family. We
-
need to do this because the enemy will exploit your ignorance.
-
And the Bible says, my people perish for lack of knowledge.
-
So avail yourself of that knowledge. Okay.
-
And we meanwhile, we want the best and the best
-
and the best for you. Want to see you be
-
the captains of your generation. Want to see you win.
-
We want to see you overcome. We want to see
-
you know no defeat, because Christ is the captain of
-
your life. Okay, So we'll start with questions. The reason
-
Papa says you should write the questions is because sometimes
-
realistically you want to ask a question, but you feel shy.
-
Don't be shy, Okay, there is You saw those videos,
-
you saw the clip of the guys on the street.
-
What else can be more shameful than what we saw?
-
So we used to have a saying in my fame
-
that inside shame is better than outside shame.
-
Okay, So.
-
I'm ignore anybody sitting to your left or your right.
-
You know what is bothering you, what is agitating your mind?
-
And if you feel like asking the question, ask the
-
question you want to ask. If you don't ask it
-
in English, you are welcome to ask the question in Tree.
-
Yes we're ready, I hear, we have we have questions. Okay, yes,
-
all right, So if the questions that I read doesn't
-
cover your question. Feel free call past attention or if
-
you put up your hand, I'll come to you and
-
then we'll deal with your question.
-
Right, all right, thank you sir. So this question goes this.
-
We said that what is so wrong instilling to help yourself?
-
What is so wrong instilling to help yourself?
-
Right?
-
Okay?
-
So, as children of God, we have do's and don't okay,
-
and stealing or taking that which is not yours.
-
Even.
-
In an improper manner, desiring that which is not yours.
-
God commanded us, even in the Old Testament, not to
-
covet anything that is not ours. Even to covet, the
-
Bible says it's a sin. How much more to steal,
-
to take that which is not yours. So you will
-
see that even by the standards of the world, not
-
the standard of the Kingdom of God, the world doesn't
-
even just say stealing is wrong. The world says is criminal,
-
and so you get punished for it by punitive sanction.
-
So even if the world okay, what we call good,
-
what we call attractive, what we call nine and beautiful,
-
our Bible teaches us it's like filthy racks before God.
-
But even this world, in all our wrong and immorality.
-
We consider stealing a criminal offense. We consider it wrong
-
how much more the children of light. So you should
-
never take that which is not yours because there's no
-
blessing in it. The reason is simply because God, in
-
his messy and providence, has a provision for each of us. Now,
-
if if you want something, you desire something desperately, be
-
humble and ask someone who has it. I'm hungry, I
-
don't have money to buy lunch. Can you assist me
-
with lunch? The person will bless you with lunch. If
-
the person doesn't bless you, you ask another person. But
-
there should be no justification at all for stealing, for
-
taking that which is not yours. Now, think about even
-
in the world when stealing graduates to levels. You know,
-
part of the reason we're struggling, and part of the
-
reason Papa praise who had because a group of people
-
are put in charge of what belongs to all of us.
-
Imagine their thieves. What happens to us of your future,
-
as far as the world is concern is gone.
-
Okay.
-
Also, his father, once upon a time between two thousand
-
and two thousand and eight, was entrusted with the destiny
-
of all the tty eight million Ghanians. Can you imagine
-
if he was a chief, what will happen? So stealing
-
is a no no no for a child of God.
-
It's even a no no no for those who believe
-
in morality, who believe in law, who believe in right
-
and wrong. So please, for christs sake, never still, Rather
-
beg rather ask, rather plead, rather solicit, ask somebody. God,
-
wou touch somebody's heart and the person who bless you,
-
so you get the same problem without wronging society and
-
wronging your God. Okay, because we are children of light,
-
we should be the example, we should lead, we should
-
not follow. Can you imagine you come to churche Okay,
-
you're probably in the choir, you say you're an action baby,
-
and then in school, in your class, you are caught
-
stealing someone's pencil. You would have brought shame, disgrace, embarrassment,
-
and then you entitled people of the world to then
-
criticize your faith and say, oh, but giving claims he's
-
a Christian. So don't give the enemy a chance. Don't
-
give the enemy a justification. Because sin, it's the wages
-
of sin is word death and the gift of God
-
is eternal life.
-
So Papa wants.
-
To just screen clear. We have a lot of questions,
-
so we have to see how we do this. Because
-
of time, but I must say this, and we ob
-
meet with Justice and the pastors and reverend to see
-
how we fix this. I think there should be some
-
kind of an arrangement in the church to help people
-
who have disadvantage and people who are struggling and have
-
some kind of situation where where okay, so they are
-
working on welfare, some kind of arrangement where we can
-
make food available for those who need it. Okay, So
-
maybe on Sundays we can put the rise and different
-
things here. If you don't need it, you don't have
-
to take it. But if you need it, be humble
-
enough to pick it and government cook and eat, don't
-
make it. And if you are shame when everybody goes,
-
just time it. When everybody goes, that is not stilling.
-
It's yours. It's your, so you will everybody go. You
-
just pick it up quickly and put it under your jacket.
-
You just go home. Amen. So we have a lot
-
of questions, so we want to hit them.
-
Bam bam bam bad.
-
Okay, So put your hands together for justin.
-
Right, thank you, sir.
-
So, this person wants to know that before the person
-
became born again, ran away from the house against the
-
parents' advice, got married. Now the marriage has become very abusive,
-
even to the point the life has been threatened. So
-
the person wants to find out. Person also doesn't want
-
to divorce because he was he thinks the lives of
-
their children may be affected if that decision is taken.
-
So what can the person do in this case?
-
Right?
-
Okay?
-
So look, not just people in this situation, but every
-
time in all of our life lives, all of us,
-
you need a master key to your life. It's a
-
master solution, the master solution to your life. Ah, there's
-
one word, Jesus. So the Bible says, seek ye first
-
the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and what all
-
ather tends shall be added onto you.
-
Because we are conceived and born in sin.
-
The only way we can enter into righteousness is true
-
confession and profession and acceptance of Christ as a personal
-
Lord and savior. Now, when you take this first major
-
step where you submit to the lordship of Christ, you
-
have acquired your master key. All the other things, it's
-
just a question of process and method and time and style.
-
Because you see, when you submit to the will of God,
-
then your operational manual is the word of God. And
-
what does the word of God teach us. Will a
-
man submitted to the word of God abuse his Wife's
-
extremely unlikely. If he does it, there's a reference you
-
always go to, and he will be convicted in his
-
own conscience that he's not living in the way that
-
God expects him to live. A woman who is submitted
-
to the will of God, Will that woman abuse her
-
husband or her child? No, because there is a reference
-
point you always go to, which is the Word of God.
-
So you seek first the Kingdom of God, and you
-
seek the righteousness of God. Is your endeavor, true Christ,
-
to do right, to live by the will of God.
-
But the will of Christ has laid out, He says,
-
his word will be led to our feet. So now
-
this woman, because they have children involved, Okay, what this
-
woman must do, whether the man will come with her
-
or not, is first to come to church, bring the
-
children to church. Try to encourage the man to come
-
with her to church, even if the man will not
-
come to begin with. But she gets herself and her
-
children into the fold of Christ, and she speaks to
-
there's a whole family ministry.
-
In the church. They are bishops in the church.
-
Their whole time and dedication, their priority is deal with
-
issues like the kind of issue that this woman is confronting.
-
The church gives you family. You know, we are in
-
this world, but we are not of the world. So
-
the Bible teaches us not to be confirmed to the world,
-
but that we should be transformed by the renewal of
-
our minds. Okay, because that's the perfect will of God.
-
So let's go to the next question. Unfortunately for you guys,
-
and that's why Papa drew the red line. For me,
-
I can answer one question the rest of the one
-
hour that we have.
-
Justice, can I add something to this Yes, whoever that
-
particular question, as Justice said, it's something beyond just what
-
we can tell you now. I think whoever does in
-
the you are maybe should see elder and also some
-
of the pastors, so that you need to counselor and
-
we need to sit you down. We need to look
-
at what the situation is and take the necessary steps
-
in guiding you through the process, in engaging your parents
-
and everything, and then also to really look at the
-
situation of the marriage. If it is a life and
-
death situation, we won't tell you to stay in it
-
and die. You know, there was a preacher who used
-
to preach against divorce big time, and he was right.
-
And then the daughter married. And then the guy used
-
to be in the choir. He used to sing in
-
the choir. And the guy will beat their daughter. He
-
will bring beat the girl to the point of death.
-
So one day he came to church on Sunday morning
-
and he said, I officiated this marriage in the name
-
of the Lord. I break the marriage and separated them. Simple.
-
So whoever asked that question, please see reverend before any
-
of the pastors. You need some help quickly.
-
And if it is not you, but there's something that
-
concerns your parents that you know, still come and see reverend.
-
They will find a way to make an intervention. Okay,
-
so we can salvage that situation. All right, thank you
-
very much.
-
This question goes it says, how do you stay in
-
key positions without compromising? Say, how do you stay in
-
key positions or leadership without compromising?
-
How do you stay in key positions without compromising?
-
Okay? So it's not just.
-
The challenge of compromise is not just in key positions.
-
It is in every human relationship. You have a friend,
-
you come to check together, your fellowship together, you are
-
in the cour together, okay, you are getting progressively excited
-
about each other, and your friend is trying to touch
-
you inappropriately and you know it is not appropriate.
-
What do you do?
-
That's the case of a compromise that most of you,
-
I'm sure may be facing. Your friend is not exactly
-
a bad person, but at your ages, your physiological makeup
-
is like that.
-
Your homones are charged.
-
Ye, sometimes there's fire in you, and then they make
-
inappropriate moves and make inappropriate suggestions.
-
What do you do?
-
Do you compromise? So that's a pressure you will suffer
-
at your age. So I'm a judge, and then they
-
are all manner of people who have litigation disputes and
-
that come to the court or that they think will
-
eventually get to the highest court. And if you are
-
in my kind of position, were prior to that as
-
a private lawyer.
-
So I've dealt with the bad, the good, and the ugly.
-
I've dealt with them the bad, the good, and the ugly.
-
You will have a lot of pressures. Two weeks ago,
-
three weeks ago, my wife is sitting here. Somebody drove
-
to my house. That was the day it rained, and
-
so he was coming to visit me. But before he
-
got there, intuitively I could tell that this guy is
-
actuated by some motive. So I told my wife, this
-
guy on his way, he's thinking that he can come
-
and inject me.
-
And through to my prediction.
-
After he came, lyinges long conversation, he was offering me money.
-
I said, oh, but chief, I mean, as you can see,
-
I don't need money. I'm soft airs as he can see,
-
because God, I told you, if you work this journey
-
well with God, God will never leave.
-
You without options.
-
God will always position you in such a way that
-
when you raise your credentials before the enemy, the enemy
-
will see that wrong address. It is only if you
-
are not faithful to God, and you don't do diligently
-
by God and obey God's word, then you will have
-
your own weaknesses and shortcommings. So he went back. I said,
-
I don't need and it's not a first. Somebody came
-
to me and said, oh you know, I mean, hey,
-
you know this judge shape and when you are judge.
-
The salary is not a lot, so he's made up
-
his mind that every nine and again he will bring
-
me something. You know, I said, Oh, my brother, but
-
if I told you I don't have money, will you
-
believe me? I said, unless I'm greedy, God has already
-
brought me to a place where I'm convicted to serve.
-
So I'm more than adequately provided for. Even if i
-
were not. I have no need. So you will always
-
have those pressures. Okay, you are in school, your teacher
-
is assisting you. Mom and dad are paying for the
-
teacher to come and assist you with home work, and
-
the teacher is trying to play with you. These days, unfortunately,
-
it's not just girls, but even boys are in danger.
-
You don't compromise. That is why it's called compromise. A
-
compromise me doing that which you ordinarily would not do.
-
And you have to rebuke the devil like the way
-
Christ did it himself. He said, get away from me, Satan,
-
and Bible teaches has what to do in times of
-
trouble and danger.
-
It doesn't even say work, it says what flee? You flee, So.
-
Cut those kinds of negative connections and contacts and soizations.
-
And if you can, you whisper it to your pastor
-
you can whisper it to a parent, you can whisper
-
it to some elder. If you see that. Because the
-
devil will play around us. And it's a company we keep,
-
the friends we have, the socialization we have. That is
-
where you are going to get corrupted. That's where you're
-
going to get contaminated. Oh, it doesn't matter. This thing
-
is just like a chocolate. It to make you a
-
little high. The feeling is good, and you take one
-
shot and it's a chocolate, but you go off.
-
You have this feeling.
-
By the time you wake up, you can find your
-
underwear on you. You can see that you have been violated.
-
But because you yielded, you compromised. Okay, So when you
-
go these days, for those of you who are young,
-
if you go to public events and parties and things, look,
-
if you leave your drink and you take your attention
-
away from it, don't touch it again because the spiking
-
people's drinks with stuff. Look, the devil is growing like
-
a rowin lion, seeking whom he may want the vow.
-
And we have to be so bad and be vigilant.
-
You have to be attentive. You need to be smart.
-
The devil is smart, but thank God for grace. By grace,
-
we're smarter only if we pay attention.
-
Next question, thank you so much.
-
The question is why does this seem difficult to change
-
from your old ways regardless of your efforts.
-
Oh yeah, that's understandable. I mean what we are all
-
used to. Okay, humans generally don't like change because you
-
develop a measure of comfort in your routine, in what
-
you have learned to do every day. Even if you
-
watch food, all of us you're used to certain favorites.
-
Your taste bads become cultured to certain things. So when
-
you taste something that other people are enjoying but which
-
you have never eaten before, you can't even enjoy it.
-
It tells you that we are naturally and physiologically wired
-
to adapt to situations, to become comfortable in what we
-
know and in that position, whether it is emotionally, mentally, psychologically.
-
You struggle with change. You struggle with change. So anything
-
you are battling when you want to change, you need.
-
First.
-
Bible says David reached within himself for strength, and then
-
he cried out to God.
-
God in his messy.
-
In the way God has created each of us has
-
given us will power, so we have strength in us.
-
We have some capacity if we resolve that I am
-
not going to do this. But because we are just
-
bad men and we are not sufficient. When you do that,
-
go on your knees and go to God in prayer
-
and ask for grace and ask for help. And because
-
one man's prayer may not be enough, don't be shy
-
about a weakness, a challenge, or because everyone is going
-
through some challenge, everyone is straggling to change. Talk to
-
somebody who can take into confidence. That's why we have pastors.
-
If you're a girl and you feel that you cannot
-
speak to orswerful, speak to Lady Renie, or speak to.
-
The first lady.
-
She will find a way to relate it to her
-
husband and then they will mobilize appropriate.
-
Help for you.
-
But first you need discipline, you need character, You yourself
-
need to deferm and when you make a decision, because
-
you have come to the conclusion that listen, this thing
-
is not good for me, and I know, you must
-
be able.
-
To say to yourself no.
-
And when you are hearing where that is a voice
-
is an edge you must keep denying and repudiating and
-
rebulking it and saying it's not going to happen, not
-
this time, not again, and then also find circumstances, situations,
-
conversations that just that reduces your vulnerability. So if you
-
are struggling with something and your socializations, you go to
-
people you hang out with that make you prone. You
-
are struggling to create alcohol, why do you hang out
-
with people who drink or go to places where there
-
is drink? Okay, So spend more time change your environment,
-
and the environment will condition you to be able to
-
achieve the change that you want for your That is
-
why sometimes you have even to change friends. If you
-
have a friend and that friend now becomes your weak
-
link because they become the person encouraging or leading you
-
into certain things, cut that person off and look for
-
enabling company and companionship. You show me your friend and
-
I can tell you your character. It means friendships and
-
socializations can determine you. So you can say that to
-
quit doing boys or girls and you are still hanging
-
out with your friend who hasn't made that resolution that
-
they want to quit.
-
Before you know.
-
You are there, because you are in the environment you
-
are in the space, okay, So first it depends on you.
-
But secondly, because we are not contending against flesh and
-
blood but against principalities and dominions. There's always some spiritual
-
dimension to writ. It's not everything that is spiritual, but
-
there's a spiritual dimension to life. So when you are
-
struggling with it and your willpower is not working, there's
-
no shame in seeking help. If you speak, seek spiritual help,
-
and there's no spiritual dimension to it. Too much meat
-
doesn't spoil the soup. You've just reinforced yourself. So as
-
we all, everyone struggles with change. But you must change
-
because if you continue doing the same thing, you cannot
-
expect different resourts. It can only get worse. So change
-
if you must, and stand by it and draw down. Download,
-
Papa will say, downloads trend from above from God, and
-
by the enabling grace of God, you'll be able to
-
do it.
-
Before we have a lot of questions, so this is
-
what we'll do. Next week. We'll come back and continue,
-
but we have to start elie. We have to start elie, okay.
-
So Bishop Justice will answer one more questions and then
-
we will do what needs to be done to close
-
our service because of time. But next week we want
-
to continue. Somebody WI sped and send an information to
-
me about why why do you have to avoid lying?
-
We want to deal with that next week, not today.
-
But I want to say this to you. The reason
-
why you should in lie is that when you start
-
one lie, you will continue lying till you become a professional.
-
That's it. Don't lie because when you start one lie,
-
you have to keep lying to your baptized as a
-
professional liar. Keep that in my next point that added
-
to this, Bishop, I keep calling justice Bishop, Bishop, Bishop.
-
The thing is zeros all Yeah, he's zeros yo Justice here.
-
So what's this now? Somebody said, how do I come
-
through my homebones? It's a serious one and we are
-
going to ask some of uncles and aunties and then
-
the doctors to join us to answer that because it's
-
a serious one that.
-
I'm feeling this thing. I'm feeling it.
-
It's a strong feeling. I don't know what to do.
-
What do I do because I have the feelings, I'm
-
feeling the chemicals. The last question so and then I
-
take a little bits of purpose.
-
So if you have not already filed your question if
-
you send it to the past test so we could
-
have the questions compiled. Okay, by the grace of God,
-
I mean, giving our journeys, there's no question you'll ask
-
that we cannot respond to even from our feet. But
-
if we have the questions in advance, yes, if we have,
-
let's write yes. If we have the questions in advance,
-
it allows for reflection and in some cases research and
-
you'll get a more structured answer. So if you have questions,
-
send them before. But I'm happy that you have questions
-
and feel honest and frank about it because we've all
-
been through this phase of life. And this phase of
-
life is very turbulent because there are a lot of
-
you have battling a lot of things, I mean everything,
-
including this God business is it right?
-
And this Jesus business? And you have friends, you.
-
See what is going on all around you. There is
-
just so much noise. There's just so much distraction. There's
-
so much attraction. The pressure to want to be hip
-
and high and to want to belong and be like
-
all the other kids and not be different. It's it's
-
it's it's it's real, and it's real for your age.
-
But this is the critical age. If you make this
-
transition without submitting to the enemy, you're done and cut
-
for good. But if you miss it at this point too,
-
then you are in real trouble. So let's take the
-
next question.
-
Thank you.
-
This question say is how do I know my purpose,
-
your call, and what's you are chosen for?
-
So you can know that the process and then causes
-
to study. Okay, so how do I know my call,
-
my purpose and what I'm chosen for? So each of us,
-
God has a calling on our lives. Okay, God knows
-
each of us by name. You know the song, He
-
knows my name. Yes, God actually even knows every strand
-
of hair on your head's that's how much God is
-
invested in each of us because we are part of
-
what God's image, God's likeness, and God's form. So don't
-
let anybody tell you that you are just anybody walking around.
-
You are indeed a child of God, especially when you
-
then become reconciled to God through Christ.
-
By creation. You are God's child.
-
When you become reconciled through Christ, that one you have
-
become of God and part of God. So there's a
-
purpose for your life. There's a calling on your life,
-
and there is something that God wants you to be. Now,
-
different people will come to a clear sense of what
-
this calling is at different.
-
Points in time.
-
If you watch all of us our maturity, you'll meet
-
girls your age, but they look more woman than you are,
-
and you are wondering, why is my you two?
-
You will get there.
-
You will get there, and you'll meet men your age
-
or boys your age who appear you also want to
-
get the beard by your beard is not yet coming,
-
but it will come. It's just a question. So we
-
all get to this at different points in time. If
-
you are fasty in your mind, you don't know what
-
your calling is, what is the purpose? What is God's
-
will for your life? It doesn't mean there's no will.
-
There's a question of time. You will arrive there, okay,
-
so you will see. Also, for if I take the
-
liberty to use him as an example, he did different things.
-
Before he came to the point where he is. He
-
did different things.
-
But when he's doing what he's doing now, you think
-
that he was born into priesthood. Okay, and watch when
-
he decided to become a priest.
-
It's the most.
-
Unlikely time that any normal person who decide to become
-
a priest when your father is a sitting president. Then
-
you decide people are minting and cutting money and deals.
-
You decide you are going to go and save God.
-
But that is when his calling came. I think he
-
deserves an applause from us.
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah, So we all come to it at different points
-
in time.
-
I met a sister of mine and her boys, interested
-
in their twins. We didn't speak to the second one,
-
but there's one of them, she told me, in the
-
same age twins. He told me clearly, he says he
-
wants to become a lawyer and become a judge. He
-
already knows. He's very clear in his mind. I'm sure
-
his other brother. We didn't discuss what he wants to do,
-
but he may or may not know.
-
So don't worry.
-
If you don't know, keep praying, keep trusting God. Keep
-
working on the things that you find yourself interested in.
-
That's number one. If you want to discover you, keep
-
working on things you feel interested in. Keep working on things.
-
Apply yourself in things that come to you naturally. You
-
do it without with ease. You don't straggle. It comes
-
to you very, very easily, and trust me. Whatever it
-
is that you find comes to you easily, as long
-
as one is not illegal. So it don't say, don't
-
tell me stealing comes to you easily. Now, Yeah, so
-
as long as it's not immoral, it's not forbidden, it's
-
not wrong. If it is anything that comes to you
-
easily that you feel interested in, keep developing yourself doing it,
-
just keep focused and doing it now because you are young,
-
whatever you're calling, whatever your interests, and I'm saying these
-
things that come to you easily that you feel you
-
can do it and not getting that's passion. But before
-
you get there, at your ages, there is something that
-
you need. By all means that when there are no tricks,
-
is not there are no choices. There's no choice, which
-
is that you need a certain level of basic.
-
Education, so you must go to school. As for going
-
to school, it's not an option. Don't say you are
-
not interested. It doesn't come to you easily.
-
You must learn it. You must overcome it at this
-
age when you have acquired because you need a certain.
-
Amount of information to function.
-
So it's their functional skills, which means you must be
-
able to read, you must be able to write, you
-
must be able to communicate. You must be able to
-
express yourself, okay, and do basic arithmetic. Otherwise, even if
-
you buy an Android phone and you are illiterate or
-
have it, you can't even use the phone properly because
-
you can't manipulate the functions. So as for education is
-
the minimum for everyone. So we are all we all
-
have a purpose and a calling to acquire basic education.
-
And I think basic these days means if you can
-
do it to testiary level. But whilst you are at it,
-
keep focusing on trying to determine what is it that
-
I am interested in? What is it that I have
-
passion for? What is it that comes to me easily
-
that when I'm doing it, I don't get tired. I
-
just enjoy doing it and doing it because you know,
-
my reading of the Bible, I said the Bible is
-
like to a feed right, So here's what the Bible says.
-
The Bible says, do you see a man skilled in
-
his work? Do you see a man skilled in his work?
-
It says he will save before kings. So it doesn't
-
say do you see a man skilled in law, in architecture,
-
in medicine, in And he says do you see a
-
man skilled in his work. So I Betty Pelly and
-
me were contemporaries. He must be made a few years
-
older than men were all in the north and they
-
started playing football from secondary school and we didn't respect
-
football for match.
-
Do you know?
-
I go to most places, especially if you go to
-
Francophone countries, and when you say you're from Ghana, they
-
play and I'm sitting there and I'm a lawyer. I
-
think I'm top. They don't know me, they know the maestro.
-
Do you see a man skilled in his work? Assuman Nelson?
-
He's in the US Hall of Fame. There's no Ghanian
-
president in the US Hall of Fame. Asuman Nelson is there.
-
Box He boxed his way there. So do you see
-
a man skilled in his work? There is somebody who crafted.
-
Look if you know the people who design these chairs
-
and things, when you have to chase them to get
-
them to do stuff for you, is.
-
No be easy.
-
So they've become professors in their own right because they
-
have become masters of something. Okay, you see the boys
-
who are singing, who are in the ads in theater,
-
in movies and acting, Okay, of course, don't do the
-
one that do you do, and you do okay, But
-
saying to glorify God and you take your gift to
-
another level, you.
-
Will serve before kings.
-
To serve before kings mean that the best of the
-
best of what you are doing will come to you
-
if you master it. Whether his law is architecture, is engineering,
-
or is boxing is even if you want to clean,
-
be the best cleaner.
-
If you want to cook, be the best chef.
-
I can't tell you how many people are having a
-
dinner in a cry and they will fly a chef
-
first class. Put the person in the best hotel to
-
come and do, recipe and cook for them. So master
-
whatever skilled, interest, talent you think God has given you,
-
and you must be determined that you will excel. If
-
you excel it, you stand among the best. Look at
-
how the Sammis concludes it. He doesn't just say you
-
will serve before kings. So it says what you will
-
be if you master, if you are diligent in your work,
-
But it also says what you cannot be. It says
-
you will not save before obscure men. It means you're
-
not going to be mere and ordinary if you master
-
whatever God has deposited in you. So every talent, every gift,
-
every calling is important. You just have to and it
-
takes different times to discover it. But once you discover it,
-
purpose in yourself and resolve within yourself that you are
-
going to become the best of the best. Of course,
-
it will require discipline, it will require hard work, it
-
will require for it may require change. Whenever you hang
-
around with time wastters, you cannot excel, okay, so they
-
become excess baggage. You check them out and then you
-
move on. So you discover every one of us. God
-
is so gracious. God loves each of us. There's none
-
of us who is worthless. So never allow anybody to
-
tell you that, oh you are worthless, or you'll not
-
amount to anything, or that there's anything that you can't do.
-
I'll leave you with this, the greatest men you know
-
on earth. Have you ever seen any great man so
-
great that he has anything that you do not have?
-
All the great people, whoever they are, whatever they have become,
-
they all have two eyes. You have two, they have one, math,
-
you have one. Two years, you have two. They have legs.
-
You have legs even if you are crippled, but you
-
still have legs.
-
They have hands. You have hands.
-
So it means that you are capable of doing what
-
any great person has done and doing it to become great.
-
Better still when you have God as your answer, your ancle. Okay, So.
-
I'm told that my time is up, but will come
-
back again. So in between the sermons. The sermons are good,
-
but I think to help if you enjoy this conversation,
-
put up your hand, okay, So as you're going to
-
make a case to Papa that we should do this
-
from time to time. All right, So I'll start with
-
so we want an appeal to want to repeat itself?
-
Who says is granted. So we'll be back and I
-
look for it to see her again. But lets you
-
stay at the top. Remain the light that you are.
-
Okay.
-
A Bible crist says, we are the light of this world.
-
So and we lead, we don't follow. So don't go
-
out and follow anyone. You are the example. You are
-
the example because you are the redeemed of the Lord.
-
So you are part of a royal priest wood. You
-
are a royal because it's that supreme Blad that paid
-
for your sins. So don't allow anybody out there to
-
lead you influence.
-
You are the influenza. Don't follow those influenzas.
-
So you determine how to dress, You determine how to work,
-
you determine how to speak because you are a child
-
of God.
-
Congratlations and thank you.
