Let us pray. Father, God, we thank you for the
-
gift of life. We thank you for the opportunity to
-
come before your throne once again. We thank you that
-
you have spared us, that you have granted us this opportunity. Lord,
-
we don't take it for granted. But now God, we
-
ask that your Holy Spirit will come. Sit in the
-
midst of our praises, dwell with us, Sit upon us,
-
Ignite us, Ignite us, Lord, open up our eyes and
-
our ears. Bring revelation, illumination, understanding, so we can really
-
understand who you are. So we can see the different
-
facets who you are, so we can appreciate who you
-
are in our lives. Show us a side of yourself
-
that you have never shown us before. The scripture tells
-
us that the angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy. Every
-
time they get up they see a side of you
-
they've never seen, and every time they go down they
-
will never see the side again. That's how magnificent you are.
-
You are sovereign God. The children come before you tonight.
-
We offer you a worship because of who you are,
-
and for that we thank you. Now, God gave us
-
an utterance. Let what you have given for your people
-
We deliver it with clarity effectively, so that everybody here
-
will leave changed. They cannot have an encounter with you
-
and remain the same. Let it be manifested here tonight
-
in the mighty name of Jesus Christ for his sake. Amen,
-
give God some praise. You're not clapping for me. You're awake.
-
Give God some praise. Somebody just took their last breath.
-
You're awake. Give God some praise. I know you're tired.
-
He may want to be in your bad but this
-
sacrifice is what he will honor, this sacrifice. You could
-
have been anywhere else. There are some people in the
-
clubs right now. Uh huh. There are some people in
-
the clubs. There are some people in the hospitals. You
-
can't help themselves, but you're here. Open up your mouth.
-
If you're gonna do it, do it well, Do it well.
-
Thank him, Thank him, whereas given honor to God, who
-
is the head of my life, and giving him thanks
-
for the life of our Archbishop, our Papa. Yes, because
-
of his obedience. We're all here because of his obedience.
-
Everything you see on this compass and here because of
-
his obedience. United Denominations of Action chapels worldwide exists. He
-
could have said no, he could have gone anywhere else,
-
could have been doing something else. But because of his obedience,
-
we're all beneficiaries. We're all here being fed. Amen, And
-
for our Bishop, wherever he is made, the Lord bless him,
-
cover him, lead his head, never lack oil, May angels
-
protect him, surround him about We raise firewalls around him
-
in prayers, shoes around him wherever he is. Cloud for yourself, Obedia.
-
And now you may take your seat tonight. My assignment
-
is very very very clear, and as the Lord would
-
have it, it is about the person I'm going to
-
talk about. And I said person, Yes, let me call
-
it gathering. We're having this event we're having. It's called
-
what holy Ghost night encounter? Holy Ghost night encounter. The
-
Holy Ghost is the Holy Spirit. By the way, the
-
words I used interchangeably, the Holy Ghost night encounter. Tonight.
-
My assignment is to introduce to you. And I said introduce.
-
I'll present to others because we're not all at the
-
same level. Amen, introduced to you the Holy Spirit. Who
-
is he? Who is he? This? I said, he? So
-
as the question suggests the Holy Spirit is a person,
-
personality is not a thing, so as that something told
-
me no. The Holy Spirit is a amen. He's not
-
an object by the person. But as Christians, we believe
-
that there's a trying God. The god Head got, the
-
Father got, the Son got the Holy Spirit. They are
-
three manifestations of God, always in perfect harmony and never
-
contradicting each other. If God the Creator says he, God,
-
the Son says he, God the Holy Spirit says he,
-
they work together. They are always in tandem. How many
-
of you have seen a tandem bike where the husband,
-
the wife, and the children all say no, one big,
-
and they're all paddling together. They are always in tandem.
-
One president is not going to reverse when one person
-
is going forward, and they are always in tandem. So
-
the first person in the trinity is God the Father,
-
whom we know as God the Creator in Genesis one
-
and one. Genesis chapter one, verse one, Genesis chapter one,
-
verse one. So we know that in the beginning, God
-
the Creator created, He created, so we know him as
-
God the Creator. John chapter one, verse three, John Chapter one,
-
verse three. I'm giving you different accounts. Let's speak to
-
his personality as God the Creator, John chapter one, verse three.
-
Anyone All things were made through him, and without him,
-
nothing was made that was made. So he created everything,
-
all things, not some things. All things were made by him,
-
and without him was not anything made that was made.
-
Anything your eye can see, as far as I can see,
-
he made. Amen. So that's the first personality of the Trinity.
-
The second personality we're going to talk about is God,
-
the son Jesus, the Christ, the son of the Living God,
-
who came to earth, dwelt amongst us, and died on
-
the cross. His primary assignment for coming was to reconcile
-
mankind to himself, and himself means the tryant God, because
-
he is a personality and manifestation of God. Amen. So
-
reconciling himself to the trying God, reconciling man to himself
-
the tryant God by sacrificing himself and shedding his blood
-
in atonement. It is only his incorrupted blood that could
-
be worthy, that could be payment enough to cleanse us
-
of us sin and to present us blameless, acceptable in
-
the presence of God. John Chapter one, Verse one. We
-
read in the beginning was the word, and the word
-
was with and the word was now. Who is referred
-
to as the Word Jesus Christ. He is the Word incarnate,
-
the Word made flesh. That right there establishes the divinity,
-
the divine nature of Jesus Christ, who is also referred
-
to as the Word, the Word made flesh. And also
-
that Jesus is co equal with God. He said, I
-
and my Father are one. If you see me, then
-
you've seen my Father. So they are co equal. He
-
is God, but yet he's man, and we dealt with
-
this last week. He's one hundred percent man because he
-
wrapped himself in flesh and stepped out of eternity and
-
was born here in this realm called earth. But he's
-
also God, the divine God. In John chapter one, verse
-
thirty four. John Chapter one, verse thirty four, the scripture
-
gives account of John the Baptist, a prophet who proclaimed
-
Jesus' is coming, testifying that Jesus is the son of God.
-
So that's also proof, he said, and I saw and
-
bare record, I bear witness that Jesus is the Son
-
of God. So we've dealt with God, the Creator, God,
-
the Father, God the Son. Now the person or personality
-
I'm here to introduce to you tonight is the third
-
person in the triunh the Trinity, God, the Holy Spirit.
-
We often say the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost,
-
holy Ghost. We forget he is God, the Holy Spirit.
-
Don't your nehbody say he's God the Holy Spirit Verse
-
thirty for Urus as and I have seen, as we
-
just read and have born witness that this is the
-
Son of God. In these times nowadays, Jesus is no mystery.
-
We hear about Jesus all the time. We hear about
-
God's creation all the time, but we don't hear that
-
much about the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit. The first
-
two personalities we know because we talk about, we hear about,
-
we are appreached about. But not many people know about
-
the Holy Spirit. Both Christians and god Christians believe it.
-
Some don't believe in the Holy Spirit. Some do not
-
believe in the manifestation and what he does and what
-
his assignment is and how he fits into that triang God.
-
Some don't believe it. Attention to men say I believe,
-
say it more convincingly, look them in the eye and
-
tell them I believe. It is a confession, a proclamation,
-
a declaration you're making. So who is he and what
-
is his assignment? Who is the Holy Spirit, and what
-
is this assignment. A sister read in Genesis one, verse
-
one and two that in the beginning God created the
-
heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form
-
and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep,
-
and the Spirit of God, which is the Holy Spirit
-
I'm talking about, moved. He did what He moved upon
-
the face of the waters. So that proves right now
-
that at the beginning of the world, the Holy Spirit
-
was there. God the Father, the Creator was there, got
-
the Sun, and God, the Holy Spirit. We're all present,
-
but we're talking about who is and what his assignment is.
-
The scripture says the Spirit of God moved. The word
-
moved is what a verb? In English a verb a
-
verb is a word used to describe an action a
-
state on an occurrence. He moved, He made an action.
-
He moved. Why did he move? God? Because God says,
-
God the Creator said something, he said, let there be,
-
Let there be. And because he did that, because he
-
said that, God the Creator spoke that, and the Holy
-
Spirit actionized. He executed what God has spoken. He made
-
it happen. See, that's what his job is. He makes
-
the word of God the Creator take effect just by speaking.
-
Creation happens by the action of his spirit. That is
-
also why Scripture tells us to be cautious about what
-
we say, because it is his spirit that he breathed
-
in us, his essence, So you have the same creative power.
-
Life and death is in the power of the one
-
we were made. Adam was made from clay, but he
-
was not a living being until God did what breathed
-
his essence, his spirit into him, and his spirit has
-
the power to create. That's why he says, be careful
-
what you say. The men say, be careful what you say,
-
because Scripture says you shall decree a thing. You shall
-
say a thing, and it shall be established. Most of
-
the time we don't understand that we speak death. Oh
-
that's for this one that I can't do it. You're right, hey,
-
this will kill me, you it will. You See, what
-
you decree about any situation that you're going through is
-
what is going to manifest. You shall decree a thing
-
and it shall be established. Why, it is the power
-
of God in you. You're made in His image and
-
his likeness, and it is what quickens you, what makes
-
you alive, that breath, that essence. So the Holy Spirit
-
is the power the action man of the Trinity, because
-
when God thinks it, when he speaks it, whatever he
-
intends to happen. Holy Spirit said, I got it. I
-
want him to have a room full of good. I
-
got it. I want to deliver him from danger scene
-
and Nancien, I got it. He's the action man on
-
the Trinity. Whatever God speaks, he actionizes. Now fast forward,
-
we're going to talk about the Day of Pentecost and
-
Plaster Quig who touched on it early when I walked
-
in and I was like, hey, confirmation. It's a little background.
-
We all know from just celebrating Easter in the resurrection
-
what that means that after Jesus was resurrected on the
-
third Day, he ascended to Heaven in his glorified body.
-
But he took his disciples to Bethany, where the ascension
-
took place, and after blessing them, he ascended Luke twenty four,
-
fifteen and fifty one Luke chapter twenty four, fifteen fifty one.
-
Luke Chapter twenty four, fifteen fifty And he let them
-
out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up
-
his hands and he blessed them fifty one and it
-
came to pass. While he blessed them, he was parted
-
from them and carried up into heaven. That's the ascension,
-
and it happened after he rose up on the third day.
-
Another account in John sixteen, verses five through eight, says
-
Jesus tells his disciples that he must leave. He also
-
told them that they were going to be persecuted, that
-
they will killed them. They would attack them because they
-
followed him to learn from me, they spoke of him,
-
So he was forewarning them about what was going to happen.
-
But he also promised them that he wasn't going to
-
leave them alone without a comforter. Now Jesus had to
-
go up because he was going to assume his new
-
position as the great high Priest, seated at the right
-
hand of God ever making intercession for who you and I.
-
That's where he is right now. See that's why it's
-
important when the autocol goes forward and we tell you
-
come give your life to Christ, because there's a choice
-
you're making and the Holy Spirit I'm talking about, the
-
only one thing he's going to convict the world of
-
is rejection of Jesus Christ. So when you have the opportunity,
-
and you choose not to because God gave you free will,
-
and you must make the choice. When you choose not to,
-
then expect that you shall be judged. You will be
-
convicted of rejection of Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ said,
-
the only way to his Father, the only way into
-
the Kingdom of God, is through him. So if he
-
comes and says, you can't pay me for it, you
-
can't buy. You can achieve it by your works. But
-
I have chosen to shed my blood for you to
-
make you justified just as you've never sinned. To redeem you,
-
I've paid for you. Really, you belong to him. If
-
I come to you and pay you for your shoes,
-
you take the money. It's a transaction. I be and
-
because said not as you shall, I can't take you
-
down because I've paid for it, so it belongs to me.
-
Jesus Christ at his blood and paid for us, redeemed Us,
-
exchanged his life, shedding his blood to make atonement the
-
only thing that could wipe your sin away and make
-
you acceptable before God. So Jesus had to go up
-
and take his position as great eyed priest, seated the
-
right hand of god Father ever interceding for us. But
-
he was not going to leave them without power. That's
-
the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power of
-
the Trinity, the action man of the Trinity. But that
-
he would send the Holy Spirit once he went up,
-
and the Holy Spirit is to remain with us forever.
-
So now you see, in the beginning, God used to
-
come down and walk in the garden and commune with
-
Adam and Eve. Then Adam and Eve sinned, so Jesus
-
Christ had to come to make atonement to redeem us.
-
We killed him. You can't think for the person that
-
came to redeem you that to fix your situation. But
-
it was all in the plan. Tell you, it was
-
all in the plan. That is the only way we
-
could reconcile to God. But you see, Jesus, after he
-
rose on the third day at the Resurrection, he had
-
to ascend to his new title, the Great High Priest,
-
and so he promised them that he wasn't going to
-
leave them without and that he was going to send
-
down the Holy Spirit, the power of the Trinity, the
-
action man, and that he would remain with us forever.
-
See right now in this dispensation is the Holy Spirit.
-
That's with us. That is why we must understand that
-
in these days, these last days, as we exist now
-
in this realm, it is the Holy Spirit that's with us.
-
He came to comfort to God, to teach many other
-
things which we're going to talk about. He was here
-
to give us power individually and as a church. So
-
by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, you have the
-
Spirit of God. I have the Spirit of God, each
-
and everyone. But the Spirit of God is a prophetic spirit.
-
So if he dwells in you, you have a measure
-
of prophetic in you, each and every one of us.
-
You see, there's an office of the and there's the
-
gift of the prophetic. But if he lives in you,
-
and he is the spirit of truth, he is the
-
spirit of God. He's the Holy Spirit, and he is
-
prophetic by default because he lives in your vessel. You too.
-
It's one thing to be ordained into the office, but
-
we all carry the gifting of being prophetic. Turn to
-
your neighbor and say, you too can prophesy, to prophesize,
-
to speak. That's why you must be careful what you see.
-
You prophesied death into your situation. Hey, I'm going to
-
feel this test okay of creation must conspire together to
-
establish what you said. So when it happens, why is
-
this happening to me only me? Be I trying to
-
pass me and gram trying to me. Feeling you said,
-
that's what this one I will fail. You shall decree
-
a thing and it shall be established. So why are
-
you surprised? Hey, that's what this sickness It will kill you.
-
And you go to the doctor and say, oh, I
-
can't do anything for you. Your sickness. The place that has reached,
-
go your go, you said. But if you speak in
-
line with the word of God, because it is his
-
spirit that you're invoking, and the spirit is the power
-
of God, then the power brings signs, wonders, miracles, breakthroughs
-
for who for you say, your blessing is in your mouth.
-
Tell your neighbor, tell him your blessing is in your mouth.
-
So watch what you say. So he comes to give
-
the individual power and the church power. But he would
-
convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Holy
-
Spirit doesn't condemn. He never condemns. He convicts. There is
-
a difference. You see, it's your conscience that condemns you.
-
Where you know the right thing, and you don't do it.
-
The enemy as passage, who says you give him an opening,
-
he has an occasion, and he will use your own conscience.
-
Don't even saying he said, well, yeah, those pictures you're
-
looking at, you shouldn't look those messages you're sending, those
-
calls you're making, those places you're going. Is your conscience
-
that or condemn you? The Holy Spirit only convicts you.
-
He reminds you. Remember who lives in you, Remember whose
-
you are, who paid for you, Who is shared is
-
blood for you? Who is shad is blad to make
-
you clean? But the One says, if you set your free,
-
then you are what free. Indeed, so why are you
-
trying to get back into the dirt. What is it
-
you want? What is it that in that mud that
-
you enjoy so much? Remember last week I told you
-
be careful of your desires because your desires can be
-
your destruction. Right now, the flesh wants to say, I
-
will tell you the flesh always wants comfort or a
-
chilling openny day. But that very desire, it is what
-
will bring destruction to your life. Yes, So, when all
-
the apostles gathered in the upper room, praying. A rushing
-
wind as passed the quick who told us earlier filled
-
the house, and tongues of fire rested on each of them,
-
and they were failed, failed, save failed. When you feel something,
-
it means there's no room left. See that's the key.
-
You can't take pat and leave Pat. You're going to
-
accept him and be failed, or you're going to reject
-
him and be empty. And when you're empty, it's an
-
opening for who or do fine? We track contract them
-
out fine. So he failed each and every one of them,
-
and they began to do what speak in tongues or languages,
-
different languages. So the Holy Spirit the power when he comes,
-
he manifests. And one of the things that happens when
-
he manifests is that he comes bearing gifts. And one
-
of the gifts he brings is that she gives you
-
utterance of the language different to your mother tongue. See
-
the languge which my mother tongue is tree in fronty.
-
But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you speak
-
that MANI. You can speak Houser, you can speak French.
-
You can He is a teacher. So this was the
-
manifestation of the word, the fulfillment of the promise Jesus
-
made to them before he left. But also it is
-
a revelation of who the Holy Spirit is and his
-
primary assignment. The event also marks the birth of the
-
assignment of the church as pasaquik who told us at
-
that very moment, when the Holy Spirit came and sat
-
on the ass tongues of fire natur and everyone the
-
church was borne by fire. Is that what he said,
-
The fire of the Holy Spirit, the power of the Word,
-
which was Jesus, so that mankind will be convicted of sin,
-
not condemned, convicted of sin. So you become aware righteousness
-
right living according to Jesus' standard. So he tells you
-
don't go there. Sometimes God will cause you to be
-
rejected where everybody is accepted. It's not because he wants
-
to punish you, because He has marked you. That's what
-
he says in Jeremiah, before you and your mother's womb,
-
I did one. I knew you, I set you aside.
-
I've chosen you. I sanctified you. Women who are here,
-
so where everybody else is going and there having fun,
-
you go to tell you no, you're not allowed, and
-
you go when you're a crime and you don't understand
-
your peculiar You are unique. He has marked you, so
-
he cannot let you go and get yourself dirty. You
-
cannot do what everybody else is doing. You are not
-
allowed because you are His and you have an assignment
-
on your life. So the primary assignment of the Holy
-
Spirit the primary. That means the other assignments secondary assignments.
-
His primary assignment was to magnify, is to magnify and
-
glorify only Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
-
That's all his assignment. His primary assignment is he reveals
-
Jesus' purpose for coming to the earth and his love
-
to the hearts of mankind. And Jesus's purpose was what
-
to redeem us, to justify us, to bring us salvation,
-
and to reconcile us to God. But I submit to
-
you that the entire Bible is inspired and authored and
-
promoted by the Holy Spirit, and it is the revelation
-
of who Jesus Christ is to mankind. See I told
-
you the Holy Spirit does not condemn. He only does
-
what convicts. Why because he's the Spirit of God and
-
God does what God justifies. Jesus Christ, God came to
-
justify us. John sixteen seven and seven through nine. And
-
I mentioned this already. Jesus said, the only sin the
-
Holy Spirit will convict the world of is the sin
-
of rejecting Jesus. The day of Pentecost, that was the
-
manifestation of the Holy Ghost, was an event in the
-
Upper Room, and it was the fulfillment of the word
-
Jesus's promise. This time and season that we live in
-
is still the day of Pentecost. Why but if the
-
Day of Pentecost happened then in the Upper Room, then
-
why are we saying we are still this is the
-
day of Pentecost. It is the presence of the Holy
-
Spirit that made it the day of Pentecost. But how
-
about Jesus said he would send it me here and
-
he would never leave us. So the Holy Spirit is
-
still here, and as long as he's here, it is
-
the day of Pentecost. But there's going to be a
-
time when he's going to leave us. God used to
-
commune with man, he left Jesus, Christ, Christ came, he
-
communed with man, and he left. Is now the Great
-
Eyed Priest, and he's in heaven, seated at the right
-
end of God. Then the Holy Spirit came. He is
-
also going to leave. That's why I said seek him
-
last week, seek him while he may be found, because
-
there's a time coming. There's a time coming where you
-
wish you can pray to him and find, but he
-
will be nowhere. The only time you have is now now,
-
this moment in which you're alive. So the day of Pentecost,
-
the manifestation of the Holy Ghost. That's what Pentecost was.
-
That event in the Upper Room was the fulfillment of
-
Jesus's promise. But this time and season, this day is
-
still the day of Pentecost because the Holy Ghost is
-
still with us on earth until Jesus comes back. See
-
so if the Holy Ghost, which is God, the Holy
-
Ghost a manifestation of God the Creator, who is also
-
the manifestation of God the Son. So now you understand
-
when we say alpha and damaica. Because he was there
-
at the beginning and he's also there at the end.
-
How do we know we're going to prove to you.
-
Let's go to Revelations one and ten. This is an
-
account of John, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God
-
to write about to prophesy about the end times. I
-
was in the what oh are you a sleep? I
-
was in the what on the Lord's Day? And I
-
heard behind me a what as of a trumpet. Let's
-
finish reading. Let's go to eleven saying, I am he
-
was there in Genesis one, and this is revelation, the
-
last book in the Bible. And he's saying, is what behold,
-
I stand at the beginning of your life, and I
-
know what the end is. He said, he created your life.
-
He orchestrated your life. That's what Jeremiah is saying when
-
he prophesied about it. And then I caused your parents
-
to meet, to come and birth you to live that life.
-
I authored it. I wrote it completely. I didn't leave
-
out any scenes. So nothing about you surprises God. Everything
-
that you go through, the ups and the down. If
-
you trust him, all things shall work together for your good,
-
even the troubles that you have. You go through stuff,
-
but it will never overtake you. You go through the fire,
-
it won't burn you, the floods, you won't drown. That's
-
what the scripture is telling you. So you have to
-
connect the dots. So the entire Bible is inspired and
-
authored and promoted by the Holy Spirit, and is the
-
revelation of who Jesus the Christ. He comes bearing gifts
-
the Holy Spirit. See at the beginning of saying something
-
about witnessing to each other about God, about the Spirit
-
of God. When I say the Spirit of God, it
-
is still God God. The angels do it. Scripture gives
-
an account of them singing in antiphany. This one saying
-
he is holy, this one saying he is to be exalted,
-
this one saying he's wonderful, this one saying he's come
-
on excellent. They are talking about him, not to him,
-
but the process of them talking about him in Antiphany
-
stirs up the glory cloud, which is the Holy Spirit,
-
the presence of God. That's why when we sing praises,
-
Scripture says, he inhabits the praises of his people. As
-
you sing praises, you thank him you word. He comes
-
and he says, well for remy my bow. He inhabits
-
the praises of his people, and he sits in there,
-
and he executes vengeance and judgment for you, and on
-
your behalf. See when you come, just like a check.
-
When he feels I'm going to tell my daddy. Because
-
every child feels his father his authority. And when his
-
father comes, he's gonna set you straight. So if you
-
mess with him, he's going to tell his daddy. So
-
when he comes, when you talk about him and he comes,
-
he shows up, he sits in the middle of this
-
is what That's what the devil is jealous of by
-
the way that you worship, you praise, and you're not
-
doing it for him, so he would rather you shut
-
your mouth. That's why I open Always say open up
-
your mouth, because it is what you say that's going
-
to invoke his presence. Understand what you do and why
-
you do what you do. Open up your mouth. It's
-
not because I want to bother you and focus presence.
-
Talk about him in ant Tiffany, talk to him. Tell
-
him also, God, you've done this for me, and I'm
-
grateful because your gratitude will make room for more. Amen.
-
When somebody does something for you in the natural, it's oh,
-
thank you so much, I really appreciate it. It makes
-
him want to do more. How many are married here,
-
you do something nice for you, do something nice for
-
your wife, and then you come, oh, honey, thank you
-
so much. I wasn't expect Oh, oh, gradia, Saudia, trying
-
to know my soul. It makes you want to do
-
more because there's satisfaction in there and it goes both ways.
-
So if you do something nice for your husband and
-
he appreciates it, comes in girl, gee, goodie, tony tony opebia,
-
it makes you want to do more. How about. It's
-
the same thing with God the Father as you speak
-
to him. When I say God the Father, God the Son, God,
-
the Holy Spirit, I'm invoking all three of them. Remember
-
I said they always work together, They're always in tandem.
-
They never contradict each other. So the Holy Spirit was
-
there in the beginning and he's also there in the end.
-
Now I want to talk about the indwelling of the
-
Holy Spirit. I told you he comes bearing gifts. Remember
-
I said he failed everybody. That means there was no
-
room left he occupied. So the indwelling of the Holy Spirit,
-
when you desire and you yield, don't forget. God gave
-
you free will, which is why you must choose. But
-
when you choose and you yield and surrender totally holy
-
to the Holy Spirit, he takes control. And that means
-
you produce fruit. Because remember I told you, when he's around,
-
there's signs, wonders, miracles, breakthroughs, and that he was also
-
the power individually and for the church. And that was
-
the birthing of the church on the day of Pentecost,
-
so that he gave the church power to go and
-
do what minister to preach. That was the birthing of
-
the church by fire. I'm taking my time with this
-
because I want you to go there in your sanctified mind.
-
Don't treat the Bible like it's just some story they're
-
telling about somebody somewhere. This is what you believe as
-
a Christian. This is what you say you believe. So
-
you understand what you do and why you do what
-
you do. So knowing that and understanding that He comes
-
bearing gifts, and one of the gifts is a manifestation
-
of other tongues. What does that do for you as
-
a believer? What a speaking tone to do for you
-
as a believer? What does it do? Anyone? Scripture tells
-
us the importance or speaking in tongues? Anyone. I know
-
you're tired, I see you liking a little bit have
-
been made the Holy Spirit quickly, liss Let us be
-
upstanding for a minute. Yeah, come on, let us listen.
-
Go go to someone and talk to him about talk
-
to him about God, talk to me about the Holy Spirit.
-
Tell them, tell them, tell them what he has done
-
in your life. Tell him, wake up that ought to
-
quicken you. Tell him, tell him, tell him, tell him,
-
tell him, tell him, tell him, and tell them what
-
it does for you, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit,
-
the infeeling of the Holy Spirit. Tell them. It gives
-
you the power to do the work of God. It
-
gives you the power to witness. Come on, come on,
-
walk around, go to another person. I'm trying to get
-
you woke so you can hear this because it's important.
-
It is important.
-
Okay, I were awake, I we are awake.
-
I'm not convinced that we are awake. So the Holy
-
Ghost is to us the comforter. If I went to
-
introduce you, if he was supposed to be walking through
-
the door right now, he's here already, by the way,
-
But if he was walking through the if I had
-
to do be an emcy and introduce him, I would
-
ask you to be upstanding. We do it in the
-
natural for the President, for other dignitaries. But we are
-
talking about God, the Holy Spirit. I would tell you,
-
please be upstanding. Receive the one that Jesus promised us
-
as he was ascending into heaven. He is what the comforter,
-
the one who comes to give you comfort, even when
-
you're going through all your troubles. Come on, come on,
-
clap you and praise him. He is your counselor in
-
the natural or we call our lawyer's counsel because they
-
give you direction according to the law. He's your counselor
-
he's your counselor, he's your helper. There are things that
-
you cannot attain by yourself, but he comes to help you,
-
to aid you to do it. He is your intercessor.
-
He and Jesus, Jesus the son who died for you,
-
who is now the great high Priest. He's sitting at
-
the right hand of God ever making intercession for you.
-
And even when you pray, you don't know what to pray,
-
and you get to the place where you are so
-
burdened you're moaning and groaning. The word says he makes intercession.
-
When you go you can't find the words to say
-
what is going on in your life? The Holy Spirit
-
intersees between you and the Father. Amen, tell him he's
-
your intercessor. He is your advocate and advocate he's your
-
strengthener and he stands by you. Amen. But that is
-
not all of it. I want to tell you also,
-
like I said in the beginning, the Holy Spirit is
-
the pressed man. If you will of the Trinity. You said,
-
this is what happened when Adam and Eve were in
-
the garden and they sinned. And I read this in
-
Katherine Commen's word, the Holy Spirit, the power of the
-
Holy Spirit. She said, this is what happened. Go there
-
in your spiritual mind. Got called a board meeting in heaven.
-
He said, look, the one we created and we gave everything.
-
Look at what he has gone and done. But I
-
never intended for them to go to hell. So we're
-
going to have to come up with a plan be
-
for them. So this is what we're going to do.
-
I need to have them reconcile to me. But you see,
-
Jesus Christ offered. The Bible says God gave his only
-
begoden son. But Jesus Christ said, I laid my life down,
-
nobody can take it again. So Jesus Christ actually offered
-
to come down to die, because it was going to
-
take that blood, that efficacious blood, that sinless blood, to
-
redeem us. So in the boardroom, Jesus said, okay, I'll
-
go I'll take on this flesh and be born of
-
a woman so I can enter this realm and I'll
-
go there and I will die for their sins so
-
I can redeem them for you. Now, the Holy Spirit said, okay, Well,
-
the least I could do, if you're going to go
-
down and die, is that I'll be your hype man. Yes,
-
the Holy Spirit hypes Jesus. That's all his assignment is,
-
from Janus to Revelation. He talks about, he magnifies, he
-
glorifies Jesus the Christ. So he is a hype man.
-
He is the promoter, he's a revealer. He's like in
-
these days the blogger, the one who's putting out the Jews.
-
Let me tell you about this Jesus Christ, who came
-
to die for you, who can heal you, who can
-
provide for you, who can protect you, who can do
-
all these things for you. So that's what the Holy
-
Spirit does, the influenza. Because he convicts, he influences. Suddenly,
-
he doesn't force you. I suggest to you, let me
-
remind you in case you forgot whose you are and
-
who you belong to. So that's the Holy Spirit, and
-
that's what he does. That's what he is to us,
-
the helper, the intercessor, their advocate, the strengthener. He's your standby,
-
he's always by your side. I would never leave you now,
-
forsake you. That's what the scripture says. He's your teacher,
-
and he's a revealer. He reveals Jesus the Christ to you,
-
and he will remain with us individually and the church
-
as the church until Jesus Christ comes back, as the
-
scripture says, he will remain with us, and on that
-
day he will take us with him those that belong
-
to him. So if you have accepted Jesus the Christ,
-
then you get to go with him. I told you
-
last week, those of us who are parents, you don't
-
go to school and take everybody's kids home with you.
-
You go and get your on your own. You might
-
find another kid sitting down crying, waiting for their parents,
-
but you don't take them home down do you just
-
comfort them and say, oh, your mommy is coming, okay,
-
so cry and you take your little rugmuffins and take
-
them home. That's what the Holy Spirit does for us.
-
So it is important that we understand this manifestation of
-
the trying God, this third personality of the trying God. Amen. Amen,
-
somebody is blessing the Lord and you just standing there
-
watching everything that you have, even the breath in your lungs,
-
belong to him. It is he who breathed life into you.
-
And if you understand that, you don't need anybody to
-
pump and prime you. You don't have to have anybody
-
to tell you to clap your hands or open up
-
your mouth and give him praise because you understand that
-
without him you are nothing. You have nothing, and you
-
can be nothing. And it is one of your assignments
-
as the church. You and I were at the church
-
to promote to go out because we have the Holy Spirit,
-
to go out and to witness, to preach. You can't
-
have the fire and sit down. You are not meant
-
to possess the fire and chill. That's an error. Tell
-
your neighbor and say it's an error. It's an anomaly.
-
Say anomaly. Even when you're in the kitchen in five minutes, Yeah,
-
there's a reaction. So how can you possess this fire
-
and sit down there and all your glorious, wonderful self
-
cannot be a chairwarmer. A man, you cannot be a chairwarmer.
-
It is forbidden. If you have him, he quickens, He quickens,
-
and he will teach you. He will counsel you, he
-
will order your footsteps. Somebody said, you do all so.
-
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a symbol of
-
our commitment to God, a sacrament of initiation. It is
-
synonymous with regeneration. You see, when you have the Holy Spirit,
-
when you've accepted Jesus Christ, you accepted the Holy Spirit,
-
You've accepted God, the Creator. It is a symbol of
-
regeneration and synonymous us with your Christian perfection. He comes
-
you see, you're not expected to be perfect. It is
-
he that will make you perfect. That's why he says,
-
come as you are. So when we get the autocoll
-
when you're thinking, oh, I want to wait till my
-
hair is done, but he's not interested in that. Come
-
let me fix your spirit, Let me fix your soul,
-
because you are damaged and without him, you're not even
-
allowed in the presence. You can stand up here if
-
you haven't accepted, shout and sing and kobebia because you
-
don't have a relationship with him, so when you are
-
praising and thanking him, you acknowledge who is what he
-
has done for you. When you worship him, he says,
-
I have a relationship for who you are to me.
-
If you would do that for your significant other. In
-
the natural, you want to do things for them because
-
of what they mean to you. You're working in time
-
to oh, Charlie, my girl would like that too. Fat
-
at all. You're They're always on your mind. You are
-
consumed with their very thought. That's what the Holy Spirit
-
does for us. Amen. I believe this sets the tone.
-
And Pastor QUIRKU, I don't know if there's anything left
-
for you to do, because you did all today. Let
-
us give God thanks for his life. But as I said,
-
they are going to be science wonders, miracles and breakthroughs
-
when you have the infilling of the Holy Spirit. And
-
this next segment of this Holy Ghost Night Encounter and
-
Encounter is a meeting, Okay, in the in English they
-
say a chance meeting, but in God there's no chance.
-
Meetings preordained. That's what the scripture says, So there are
-
no chance meetings. God knew you were going to be
-
here on this day, at this hour, at this time,
-
so you could hear about the Holy Spirit, his Holy Spirit,
-
so that you could receive, you could understand, you could
-
be imparted, so that you could be empowered to go
-
out there. You can get saved. To sit down. The
-
power came. The Holy Spirit filled you, and it gives
-
you an unction to move, to move, to go out
-
there and preach the word. Tell witness, Tell somebody about
-
how good this God is. Old, taste and see that
-
he's good. While you have something good, why are you
-
hiding it?
