Now let us pray, Father God, we thank you for
-
your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, come take your place, Come
-
and preside over this meeting. Bring illumination, understanding, wisdom, enlightenment.
-
Allow your servant to deliver with clarity, so that your
-
people will be edified and the devil will be horrified.
-
The Mighty name of Jesus. We have prayed.
-
Amen.
-
Please say you sees, praise the Lord. If you are
-
just happy to be alive, make some noise in the house.
-
Just show some appreciation. That's what we need to learn
-
how to do, is show some appreciation. God is faithful.
-
God is faithful. Okay, so time is a little fire expenser.
-
We're going to go right into the Word. And the
-
last couple of weeks I've dealt with the Trying God,
-
the God, the Father, God, the Son God, the Holy Spirit,
-
and we've talked about the Holy Spirit and his function
-
and what he does and what he comes to do.
-
That is main fundamental primary assignment to come and magnify
-
and glorify Jesus Christ, to shed abroad in the hearts
-
of all men. What Jesus Christ came to do. Jesus
-
Christ was the perfect sacrifice. He came down to earth
-
to reconcile man to God by offering himself as a
-
perfect sacrifice on the cross. He shed his blood, and
-
because he knew no sin, it's the only blood that
-
could make atonement for us. That was Jesus. The Holy Spirit,
-
as we discussed, is the power.
-
Of the Trinity.
-
He's the third person personality, God, the Father, the creators,
-
the first Jesus Christ, the Sun, the perfect sacrifice. The
-
Lamb of God is the second personality, and the Holy
-
Spirit is the third personality. And as I've mentioned to you,
-
his job was too broadcast to men. If Jesus was
-
going to come down from eternity and give up his
-
life so that you and I can be made the
-
righteousness of God, then the Holy Spirit took it upon
-
himself that he would be Jesus's hype man.
-
He would be the one to broadcast.
-
He will be Jesus' blogger, if you will, so that
-
all of mankind would know about Jesus and they will
-
be drawn to him. Amen, say thank you for the
-
Holy Spirit. Thank you for the Holy Spirit. Now this
-
week we're going to talk about discipleship, discipleship, discipleship. Who
-
can tell me what it disciple is anyone what a
-
disciple is. Who is a disciple? Who is a disciple?
-
Who is.
-
If you're a disciple of somebody, that means you follow them,
-
so they're teaching you.
-
You're directly under them. It's kind of like an apprentice
-
sort of thing.
-
Yeah, Amen, as give God some praise. Well, by the way,
-
that's my baby. Last, that's my daughter. And today Bishop,
-
with the permission, today she makes twenty six. I know
-
a lady doesn't tell her age, but she's twenty six today,
-
and I thank God for a life.
-
And I'll ask my bishop to bless you in prayer.
-
Okay, So yeah, a disciple is one who follows, learns, imitates,
-
takes after whoever their leader is. Okay, you follow hard,
-
follow first, and live by their values and the principles.
-
That's what a disciple is. Now, you can be discipled
-
into many things, so you need to be careful tend
-
torybody say, be careful what you're a disciple of. But
-
for us Christians, we are disciples of Jesus Christ.
-
Amen. That means we are to take.
-
On his nature, his values, his characteristics, his teachings.
-
We had to imitate him so.
-
That at some point in your life, in your Christian walk,
-
it's so evident that you are his disciple, because not
-
just your words, your walk, your talk, everything about you.
-
Must resemble Jesus Christ.
-
There's a saying that goes the offspring must bear some
-
kind of semblance to the progenitive. If you are Jesus's disciple,
-
then something about you, everything about you, really should show
-
that you are indeed his disciple. So, yes, who is
-
a disciple one who follows Jesus in this case a Christian,
-
a disciple of Jesus Christ, one who follows Jesus and
-
his teachings and shares his message. John chapter eight, verse
-
thirty one and thirty two. John Chapter eight, verse thirty
-
one and thirty two then said Jesus to those Jews
-
which believe on him, if you continue in my word,
-
then are ye my disciples indeed, and ye shall know
-
the truth, and the truth will make you free. So
-
Jesus is telling us here, if you follow continue in
-
his word, then you are his disciple. That means you
-
must have his word in you. Jesus Christ is a
-
word made flesh. And if he's telling you, if you
-
say your mind, if you say I'm your leader. I'm
-
the one whom you hunger after. Then you must continue
-
in my word. Whatever I'm teaching, whenever I'm professing, whatever
-
I'm everything about me, My prayer, my talk, my walk
-
is what you're supposed to imitate. A scripture also tells
-
you thy word have I hidden in my heart so
-
that I may not sin against you. So it is
-
incumbent upon you who says you're a disciple to know
-
the word it is written, because the enemy will come
-
and tempt you and test you and try you. Also,
-
you are a disciple of Jesus Christ here. So what
-
are you going to do in this situation when your
-
friends come to you and say you to put the
-
Bible down for one day, Let's just go and chill
-
after a drink or two will make a difference. Or
-
let's just look at this movie. You know that way
-
I'm talking about that will cause things to arise and
-
things to happen. Aha. You see, But you are proclaiming
-
to be the disciple and you are to take after
-
his nature. I don't see Jesus keeping company or sitting
-
in the midst of people who are watching certain videos
-
and people are holding certain conversations. So if you say
-
you are his disciple, then you're very walk. It's not
-
enough to just talk about it. You must walk the talk.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say, walk the talk. It
-
must be evident everything about you. You must be peculiar
-
as you're called to be. You must be set apart,
-
called out from. You are supposed to bring the change.
-
Don't get caught up in the crowd. You are supposed
-
to be the leader in your environment. Don't get caught
-
up in the crowd where the crowd is going one
-
way and like they're saying, goes. If you can't beat them,
-
you join them. You are supposed to effect the change,
-
so that if the crowd is going the wrong way,
-
by your life and by your example, they're supposed to say,
-
this guy something different about more, let's follow you. You're
-
not supposed to be going behind them and saying, well,
-
you're going to drink me and let me go and
-
drink some adauras. I won't fit in. You're not supposed
-
to fit in.
-
Amen.
-
So as a disciple, you must make sure that your
-
life mirrors in every sense, in every area, the life
-
of your leader.
-
Amen.
-
So the disciples first received power power for the Great Commission,
-
because that is what your discipleship.
-
Requires of you.
-
To go out, as the scripture tells us, as Jesus
-
said to him, go out everywhere, to the ends of
-
the earth to tell people about him. You're supposed to
-
witness about him. So they first received power in the
-
great for the Great Commission in the per room, after
-
they had gone out. After that they had gone out
-
to witness about Jesus. Pay their missionary assignment of the
-
Great Commission. Matthew twenty eight sixteen through twenty Matthew Chapter
-
twenty eight sixteen through twenty.
-
Then they lived.
-
Eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where
-
Jesus had appointed them seventeen. And when they saw him
-
they worshiped him, but some doubted twenty eighteen. Sorry, Jesus
-
came as fake unto them, saying all power is given
-
unto me in heaven and in earth twenty nine.
-
I'm sorry. Nineteen.
-
Go ye therefore, and teach all somebody, say oh not
-
some all teach all nations, baptizing them in the name
-
of the Father and of the Son and of the
-
Holy Spirit. This is the Great commission. And if you
-
are a disciple of God, of Jesus Christ, who is God,
-
God the Son. Then this is your assignment. See, it's
-
not the assignment of the pastor alone or your shepherd.
-
Is the assignment of everyone who follows God, who follows
-
Jesus Christ, who is proclaiming Jesus Christ to be.
-
Yeah leader.
-
So don't sit down which you're saved and sanctifi itself,
-
and expect that your pastors and your shepherds are going
-
out to do the word to witness. You, having experienced
-
your knowledge of who Jesus Christ is, should go out acquiet.
-
Our commission mandated to go out and to witness. Now
-
how do you witness? I've just told you that in
-
the Upper room the Holy Spirit came upon them and
-
he gave them power. After all, witnessing is shedding the
-
name of Jesus Christ abroad and letting people know how
-
much he loved mankind, how it came and paid the
-
price to reconcile us to God. So you are very
-
much taking on the Holy Spirit is infusing you, if
-
you will, with part of His essence, so you can
-
go and do the work, because that's what he came
-
to do to magnify and glorify Jesus Christ to all
-
of mankind. So you are now deputies if you will
-
of the Holy Spirit, tend to your eihybody and say
-
you are a deputy.
-
You are a.
-
Deputy of the Holy Spirit, and you are to go
-
out and witness.
-
Now.
-
If you do not have the Word in you, and
-
if you are not filled with the Holy Spirit, where
-
do you get your unction? You can't give what you
-
don't have. So if you don't have Him in you,
-
how are you going to minister to anybody, witness to
-
anybody effectively for them to want to come and follow this?
-
Your Jesus Christ you're talking about. So your job is
-
to make sure that you follow hard, that you're taking
-
on His nature. You are teaching preaching. Whatever you do,
-
you must ask yourself what would Jesus do? How would
-
Jesus handle this? But not only that, you must have
-
the Word in you so that you'll be able to
-
be effective, because if you don't, then it's just going
-
to be another social gathering, another meeting where you could
-
talk about just anything. And those kinds of conversations have
-
the potential to go anyway.
-
It can be swayed anyway.
-
But when you go with pepper and in the name
-
of Jesus Christ, understanding your commission, you go with power
-
because you're going under the unction of the Holy Spirit.
-
And then what you witness.
-
The testimony that you give, can penetrate, that spirit, can
-
cut asunder.
-
That's what the scripture says. Amen. It can get in
-
between and reach that soul. Amen.
-
So the disciples first received power. But and thank you
-
Bishop for the correction today. I had a little senior
-
senior moment earlier and I miscoded something. But tell your
-
laghbor is good to learn. Be open to learning, be
-
open to receive correction.
-
Amen.
-
So it was a Antioch. It was an Antioch when
-
Paul and Barnabas had been living for about a year
-
and they.
-
Had raised disciples.
-
But they were so intense about their following and their
-
demonstration of the qualities of their leader, Jesus Christ, that
-
the people, these people are peculiar. There's just something, you know,
-
what this their Christ that they're following. They're so much
-
like him. The way they talk, the way they walk,
-
the way they preach, whatever they do, it's like seeing Jesus.
-
So they began to call them Christians spiritually, not just
-
in the natural, spiritually even everything they did on that plane,
-
that the people around them were able to identify them
-
as say, these people, they are so much like the
-
Christ that they profess that we call them Christian. Amen,
-
what a privilege? Ask your neighbor. Can the people around
-
you identify that you're a Christian? The people around you,
-
can they look at you and say, hey, ask for
-
this one not just by talking walking the talk, even
-
in the natural, but most importantly in the spiritual, because
-
if you're carrying spirit, what comes out of you is
-
guided and guarded by the spirit. The Holy Spirit would
-
order your footsteps. It doesn't physically mean just walking somewhere.
-
Your footstep as in how you conduct yourself, how you
-
represent him. If you have him in you, you allow him,
-
he would demonstrate he will go out through you as
-
his vessel.
-
Amen.
-
So discipleship begins with personal transformation. You must experience the
-
change because that's the only way you're going to be
-
able to testify about Him. You must be committed, and
-
you must be willing to sacrifice. Say sacrifice, that's what
-
we don't like to hear. Sacrifice. That means I have
-
to give up my friends. That means I have to
-
give up those movies I like watching. That means I
-
have to give up those places that I go sacrifice.
-
But how about this. The flesh always likes comfort. But
-
you are first a spirit man living in a vessel
-
of flesh. So the correct order, the divine order, is
-
spirit over mind, which is part of your flesh. Your
-
mind and you sow your flesh and your soul. They
-
go together. But it's supposed to be your spirit man
-
dictating the order of things in your life, not your flesh.
-
Nothing good can come from the flesh. That's what the
-
scripture said. The flesh profiteth nothing. Tell your neighbor getting
-
divine order, lead by your spirit.
-
Amen.
-
So personal transformation, commitment and sacrifice. Let's look at Luke
-
chapter nine, verse twenty three and twenty four. Luke chapter nine,
-
verse twenty three and twenty four speaks about denying yourself.
-
And he said to them all, if any man will
-
come after me, let him deny himself. Say deny yourself,
-
humble yourself, bring your flesh into subjection. Understand that you
-
are operating under authority. Amen, deny yourself and take up
-
your cross. Be committed to this, take up your cross
-
daily and follow me Verse twenty four. For whosoever will
-
save his life shall lose it. So if you decide
-
you do not want to sacrifice and be committed, uh huh.
-
If you decide you don't want this transformation, you want
-
to save your life as you know it, you shall
-
lose it. But whosoever he lose his life for my sake,
-
they shall save it. Jesus is saying, unless you accept me,
-
subject yourself to the order that I'm giving you to emulate,
-
to follow hard, to copy, to take on my values,
-
my characteristics, to do the things I.
-
Do, to pray like I do, to teach like I do.
-
To submit yourself, you shall surely lose your life, the
-
life that you're trying to preserve, because that means you
-
are master of yourself and you can't save yourself. The
-
only person that can save you is Jesus Christ, and
-
he came to die for you. So if you reject that,
-
then you're choosing death. Choose you this day, life or death.
-
So rejection of that is an indictment on yourself. You
-
have made the decision that you don't want to be
-
a disciple. Rather, you want to be the master, the
-
master without authority, the master without locusts, without domain. You
-
will left to your own devices. But if you choose him,
-
you have protection, provision, deliverance, whatever it is that you need,
-
it's in him.
-
Amen.
-
So we have to follow the example of Paul and
-
Barnabas and what they did in Antiochy by imitating Jesus
-
so well and all their actions and endeavors in the
-
natural and in the spiritual that they were labeled Christians.
-
And these days the word Christian is thrown around so
-
easily that it actually means nothing. You fill out a form,
-
or what is your favor? I'm a Christian. Pachop and
-
I were discussing in the room and he just gave
-
me an example, and he gave me permission to use it.
-
Here's a man who has gone to a sperm bank.
-
You're all adulty. I can talk to you who has
-
gone to a sperm bank to donate. You go in there,
-
give you a magazine and put on a blue film
-
and ladies. I don't want to be too graphic, but
-
he must get to a point where you can donate
-
the semen. You fill out a form and ask you
-
what is your faith, and you write Christian. But look
-
at where you're standing, look at where you are, look
-
at the act you're about to go and commit. But
-
yet you write Christian. So it's so loosely used and
-
thrown about that it is almost offen. It is derogatory
-
to us who say we are Christians. Everybody out there,
-
and Bishop was sharing with me families who have mixed families.
-
Maybe a family member is a Muslim one is. It's
-
like anything goes. But you're called to be peculiar. You're
-
not supposed to fit in. You are supposed to bring
-
the rhythm. So how do you subject to yourself and
-
the spirit of God that you carry in? When you
-
enter any place, you must change the atmosphere. Have you
-
gone places where people you walk in the room and
-
all of a sudden, everybody's head turns.
-
Who is that? Why you think it's because you're so beautiful?
-
I have news for you.
-
That's that glow has nothing to do with how beautiful
-
you are.
-
That's just a gift God has given because some of
-
us are fearfully. No, the wonderful part can compass.
-
It can be general for looking nice, but one he
-
is fearful, right, my Lord. So you have to understand
-
that whatever it is that aura that you carry when
-
you go into a place, it is the anointing, and
-
it is given to you.
-
Not to go in there in all your grandeur and
-
look at nice and Helen. I know I'm cute. Hey,
-
it is not about being cute.
-
It's about discipleship, fulfilling the Great Commission.
-
If he has given you.
-
That aura that attracts, he has done half of the
-
job for you. Because whether you like it, human beings,
-
judged by appearance, they take one look at you and go.
-
The ladies will grab their purses and step out of
-
the way. Some of the brothers.
-
Will blow you will up you look at it.
-
But if he's given you that aura, his presence is anointing,
-
and it's evident he has done the work, half of
-
the work for you. Now you must go in and
-
disciple others. According to the Great Commission. You must be
-
able to witness and share effectively so that somebody will
-
come to recognize the leader you are professing, Jesus the Christ. Amen,
-
let us look at Acts chapter one Versus eight. Because
-
I talked about the Holy Spirit empowers us to be
-
witnesses of Christ. Even to the ends of the earth.
-
I'm just supporting what I've said with the scripture. But
-
ye shall receive what beauty swag. You shall receive what.
-
After the what.
-
Has come upon you, and you shall be what onto,
-
both in Jerusalem and in and in and onto. That's
-
your assignment with your God yourself. Don't be God just
-
just sitting. Don't be a pew a bench warmer. Don't
-
expect your pastor or your bishop or your shepherd to
-
go out there and win souls, to minister, to witness.
-
You are the church.
-
They must tarry, they must wait before the Lord to
-
hear what the Lord has for his people. But after
-
you have received it, don't just be here as be
-
what Now it's time turn to them and say it's
-
time to do Jesus Christ has done enough. If he
-
chooses to do nothing else for you, what He has
-
done for you is greater than anything anyone anywhere. You
-
can never accomplish in your life, not your mother, not
-
your father, not your siblings, not your significant others. So
-
asks one and eight gives us exactly what our commission is.
-
And I told you earlier the reason why it takes power.
-
The power of the Holy Spirit is because as the
-
third personality of the Trinity, that was what his primary
-
assignment was, to magnify and glorify Jesus here on earth,
-
so that all mankind would know about him and his
-
love and sacrifice for us. Connect the power of the
-
Holy Ghost to be able to witness fulfill the commission.
-
Turn to your neighbors, say you need the power.
-
You see, you cannot go of your own will and
-
accomplish anything.
-
You don't even have the power to save yourself. You
-
rely on.
-
Him to infuse you, to take possession of this vessel
-
and work through you. Your very presence must be an example.
-
Amen.
-
But there has to be evidential characteristics of a disciple,
-
the key of which is love for one another. Turn
-
to your labor and say love for one another. Turns
-
your neighbor and say love for souls. Somebody took time
-
to minister to you. You heard the word. Somebody gave
-
out of their spirit, out of their experience with God.
-
You see, you cannot have.
-
An encounter, You cannot experience Jesus Christ and remain the same.
-
But somebody took time to minister to you. That's why
-
you're saved. That's why you can say you're a disciple.
-
That's why you can say you profess that Jesus Christ
-
is your leader. Somebody took time. But now that you're
-
s you want to just sit and be preached to
-
be sank too. You want to come and get fed
-
and then go out there until next week. You cannot
-
run on fumes. You must study to show yourself approved,
-
have the Word in you. But even more important, you
-
must now exercise that gift. You must now go out
-
and witness so that somebody else who is lost and
-
on their way to hell will have the same opportunity
-
that you were given to become a disciple. So love
-
for one another is key. And like Paul said in
-
First Corinthians eleven and one, First Corinthians eleven and one,
-
we are to lead by example.
-
You have to walk the talk.
-
You cannot live one way and tell people to live
-
another way. Your life, behavior, actions must be an example
-
for Them's not do as I say, but also do
-
as I do. If you are the example, just turn hey,
-
turn like hey, you're going to die. You're going to
-
turn left, Turn to Jesus Christ, repent, and then you
-
go in there you're and then you are looking at
-
things and sending messages. Yes, those messages you were sending
-
last night, and those conversations you were and those pictures
-
that you were looking at, and you think you were
-
doing it alone. I have news for you. He is everywhere.
-
So while you thought you were alone, Jesus was right there.
-
What are you doing.
-
I shed my blood for you, and you are sitting
-
here looking up for you, and you call yourself a disciple.
-
You go out there and you shame me like the
-
rest of the world. You say, we can understand because
-
they don't know him. But we are to go and
-
bring them so that they can repent from their ways.
-
But until we do that, we understand they don't know him.
-
By you, the one who says you know him, are
-
his disciple. You are doing things that even they are
-
not doing. For unication, lies, gossiping, backbiting. Look, a sin
-
is a sin as nothing, as a white sin, a
-
little white lie. That this is a trap of the enemy,
-
or a's for this one. God won't mind. Really, on
-
the day of accountability, I wish I'll be a fly
-
on the world. I'll have my own issues. Trust me,
-
the Lord has done a lot of work with me.
-
If you don't know, ask my father, my biological I say,
-
which one of your way?
-
Way?
-
Wait?
-
Wait ahuahweh And today, but look what God can do
-
can turn your life around. Give God some praise. Listen.
-
I never thought I'd be turning on a poopy tool.
-
This was not my lord. Don't bring my swag. I
-
give my head right. Look, and I'm not judging you
-
because that was my I had my diamond. I was
-
feeling myself going to the gym. You know what's so?
-
You know what time it is. You want to do something,
-
you want to take this outside? Yes, and you know
-
when you're doing the devil the devil's work. He also
-
wants to keep you engaged. He'll give you everything that
-
you need on you want money, he'll give you. You want
-
wraps you give you, You make you fluid, you can flow,
-
You make you look good, smell good, everything, But at
-
what cost?
-
At what cost?
-
So Jesus is the pioneer, the author, and the finisher
-
of our faith. But he tells us that he's not
-
just asking us to do those things just out of
-
Vein John fourteen and twelve, that's my last script. John
-
fourteen and twelve. Some translations say verily, verily. Some say verily, truly, verily, verily.
-
I say, unto you, he that believeth on me the
-
words that I do, he shall also do. Can't your
-
neighbor and say, I can do what my leader does.
-
I am empowered to do what Jesus does. He shall
-
do what I do, And greater works than these shall
-
he do. Because I go on to my father, Jesus
-
is saying, if you are in him, I was telling
-
the first service a song we used to sing a
-
Sunday school. I'm not going to sing. You have a
-
good voice, and look at my face. I was off
-
my vision. With all due respects, I don't want him
-
to run out. I want him to stay the other way.
-
If you abide in me and my word abide in you,
-
you can ask what you want. Have you heard that
-
song before? That's what he's saying. If you are in him,
-
not only will you be able to do what he does,
-
but you shall do even greater things. Why because he
-
has given you his spirit, the spirit that gives you
-
the unction, the power of the authority to be able
-
to go out there and be effective.
-
It is the Holy Spirit.
-
And we talked earlier about being in the day of Pentecos.
-
There was the day of Pentacons, the event when they
-
were in the Upper room and the Holy Spirit came
-
and dwelt on them, each and every one of them
-
as tongues of fire. But we are in the day
-
of Pentecons. Why because the Holy Spirit is the one
-
who is with us. Now God came. He used to
-
visit Araim and even the garden. Then we sinned and
-
he went to reconcile us. Jesus Christ came. We killed him.
-
Don't say ah bah. Tell your neighbor and say ah bah,
-
the one who came to fix your problem. We killed him.
-
But he had the power and the authority to take
-
back his life. So on the third day he resurrected
-
and ascended into heaven, where he's seated at the right
-
hand of God, the Father, the Creator, as our high priest.
-
Whoever makes intercession on our behalf, you and I, he
-
is still advocating for you. In spite of all that
-
you do. Listen, even when we are friends, and you
-
do you cross me.
-
Or love.
-
Eh, yes, but you see the flesh if you allow it.
-
Isn't it amazing that I can stand here and talk
-
about for so Jesus is telling us, this is what
-
your inheritance is. You can raise the dead, you can
-
cause blind eyes to open, you can heal the sick.
-
All the things that Jesus do because the Holy Spirit
-
was on him in him, you can also do as
-
his disciple because of the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
But I want.
-
To share with some because I believe there's some here
-
who do not know Jesus Christ in the power.
-
Of his death and suffering and what it means.
-
He came, he suffered, he died, was buried, but rose
-
up on the third day. He went to Hades to
-
he took the keys, He took away the sting of
-
death and the power of.
-
For you.
-
He became cursed so that you can become the righteousness
-
of God. I'm here to tell you your mother won't
-
do it for you, your father won't do it for you.
-
And if I'm your brother, what loss. Yes, as much
-
as we want to show love, if you're my friend,
-
and if I go and do something wrong and become
-
and say, okay, we are looking for Reverend Eddie. But
-
since you're his friend, will take you that's going and
-
put you in jail, or let's go and cut off
-
your head. Will you go? What would you say? He said,
-
I'll show you where he is your own. You won't
-
carry anybody's sin. But this is what Jesus Christ did
-
for us free of charge. You can't earn it by
-
your works. You can't do it anything that will merit,
-
because it is only his blood that could make atonement.
-
And that same blood is speaking for you this morning.
-
That same blood is speaking for you this morning. If
-
you do not know him as your Lord and savior,
-
and if he cracks the sky right now and wants
-
to come back to take his own. I always tell
-
you those of us who are parents here, when you
-
go to your child's school is nurseryal, elementary school of
-
primary school, You don't going to take everybody's children and
-
take them home. You go and get your what your own.
-
Same way, when Jesus Christ comes, he's coming for his own.
-
If you are not his own, you will sit down
-
and watch him leave with his own. So if you
-
are here and you don't know him as your Lord
-
and savior, this is your chance. Don't worry about what
-
you have on. He's not interested on anything outside white
-
is nice. He wants you to have all the good things.
-
Why do you think you get the good taste from?
-
I wish above all things that you prosper and be
-
in good health. Even as you're soul prosperous. Your target
-
is so all that. Listen, if you seek him first,
-
what does the scripture say? Oh? All the nice things
-
that you want when z Abecca? Sometimes it is hard
-
for you to fall them, like, how can he?
-
I mean, how is it possible? Listen?
-
God can cause man to give into your bosom, pressed down,
-
shaking together and running over. My sister gave a witness
-
testimony last week about how every time she comes to
-
church and she goes back, the Lord blesses her. Sometimes
-
she doesn't have money. Then God will send somebody to
-
give her money so she can get home. She'll get home.
-
There's no food, someone will send. God will send somebody
-
with grocery people she doesn't even know. That's the God
-
you're serving, and that's what he can do for you.
-
So if you're here and you don't know him, I
-
want to invite you to the altar today. Listen, church,
-
if you're saved already, don't just warm the seeds you
-
should be praying. It's not time to spectate. This is
-
the most important part of the service. The word is good,
-
there's praises and thanksgiving is all good.
-
But this is what your commission is. We're to minister.
-
So if you're saved, if you've accepted Jesus Christ in your.
-
Lord and say that this is your job.
-
Right now, you should be praying that the Holy Spirit
-
will move in this place.
-
Convict hearts.
-
Let them come to understand what Jesus Christ has done
-
for them on the cross. Anybody here this is so important.
-
You have no idea. You can step out. God forbid.
-
We pray that everybody has good, long life. But if
-
it is your day to go, if it is your
-
time and no man knows, I told you before. In
-
New Orleans, I've seen a pastor finished preaching, went to
-
sit on his chair and then gone, It could be
-
the next minute. So all you have is now now, now,
-
the day that you hear my voice to you're not
-
heard in your heart. If you're not sure, if you
-
have any doubt, if there's any inkling, even if you're
-
certain you are messed up, you can read dedicate yourself.
-
But if you are here and you don't know him
-
as your lord, and said, I want to invite you
-
to come. Don't worry about anybody, because on that day
-
it'll be you and him. Your friends won't be there,
-
your mother won't be there, your father won't be there,
-
and be one on one. Tell you Reverend Befote told
-
you about me at that ten o'clock service.
-
I was there.
-
I was talking through him and let him show you
-
in my word.
-
But you chose because he gave you free will.
-
See. Everything you do is a choice. But whatever you choose,
-
there's repercussions. If you choose not to you're right, but
-
you will surely reap the harvest of your choice. If
-
you choose to yield to him, you become a disciple.
-
You get to get trained, you get to learn, You
-
get to walk in his ways, become more like him.
-
You get to represent him. You get to be his ambassador.
-
If there's anybody here, please come. I have one more minute.
-
Please come, even if it's one soul, please come. If
-
your neighbory sleep, and tap them with them up. This
-
is not the time to sleep. Please come, anybody, please.
-
Jesus is standing today here knocking. He's at the door knocking.
-
Give God some praise.
-
Come, on. Don't be lazy. Listen.
-
This person now is given that he is going to heaven.
-
We'll meet him in heaven. You're sitting there, you won't
-
go a minister. But yet, when somebody is coming, you
-
won't praise God, just as all of heaven, the angels
-
are rejoicing because of one soul.
-
Oh come, my brother said, honor to meet you.
-
Anybody else. I'm closing that it is never too late.
-
God gives you another chance, another chance to fix it.
-
Whatever is wrong in your life. You can't fix it.
-
He has to fix it for you. It is only
-
he who as a power. Please come, Chad, are you praying?
-
Because some of you are doing this.
-
A hurry to go.
-
Five minutes can be the difference between heaven and and hell.
-
Five minutes one minute can be the difference between heaven
-
and hell for someone, So please pray.
-
Pray.
-
In fact, I want everybody to turn to their neighbor
-
and ask them, look, I mean, I are you sure
-
you belong to Jesus? Are you sure you are his?
-
Because when he comes, he's taking his own. If you're
-
not sure, come, you can't pay for it. Don't worry
-
about what you have on listen, you come now, get
-
secure internal life for your spirit, for your soul.
-
That's the most important thing. Anybody else.
-
While I hear you give you the nice clothes, you
-
give you anything you want, but get your priorities in order.
-
Telling you turnt to your neighbor and tell him put
-
your priorities in order. It is a matter of priority
-
the spirit first, because when the spirit is in order,
-
everything else will line up. Amen, anybody else. So we
-
are all saved, we are scientified. We believe by faith
-
and we have received.
-
Well.
-
Give God a hand clup of praise for that one
-
soul that we got today. All of heaven, all of heaven.
-
Are you rejoicing or are you just up in because
-
it's time to go? No rejoicing is not.
-
Listen.
-
Can you imagine what is going on in heaven right now?
-
I want you to go there in your mind. One
-
soul has joined the Kingdom of God. One.
-
Come on, my brother, I want to thank God for
-
your life.
-
A scripture tells us, if you believe in your heart
-
and you're speak it with your mouth, that Jesus Christ
-
is the son of the Living God, that he came
-
died Rosa and as I said it to heaven, then
-
you shall be saved. But you need to profess it.
-
I'm asking you. So I'm going to lead you in
-
a prayer where you get to profess that, so that
-
there's witnesses that's on this day. You've chosen. You've made
-
the right choice. By the way, don't worry about whatever thought.
-
Having God will give you an experience and encounter you
-
will never be the same.
-
Amen.
-
Repeat up to me, Dear God, thank you for the
-
sacrifice your son.
-
I believe you maybe make it into SUSA. Thank you
-
for what I'm saying.
-
I'm saying, I'm saying, I'm saying, and I'm failed and
-
I'm seeing well chance.
-
Give God some praise. It is done. I want you
-
to follow us to Frances Churdge. Give God some praise. One.
-
We all came to change for this one, the same
-
way on your day. Somebody came to church for you.
-
One person has given their life to Christ. All of
-
Heaven is rejoicing. So let us all go out there,
-
having heard this word, to become disciples, committed, transformed, and
-
putting our hands to the plow, not turning back, made
-
the Lord the glory fly
