  1. Let us pray, Father God, we thank you for the

  2. gift of life, Holy Spirit, Come give us unction, clarity

  3. of mind, precision of the tongue, so that you people

  4. will be edified in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ.

  5. We have prayed, Amen, you may be seated.

  6. So we've been talking about discipleship, discipleship, discipleship the last

  7. couple of weeks. Our bishops started us up with first

  8. John No John eight thirty one and thirty two.

  9. John Chapter eight thirty one and thirty two, and.

  10. The scripture says Jesus said to the Jews who believed

  11. in him, turned to your name and said, do you

  12. believe in him?

  13. So it's not just to the Jews, it's to us

  14. as well.

  15. If you believe in him, anyone who believes in him,

  16. if you abide, if you abide, the key word being abide,

  17. if you abide in my word, you are true, truly

  18. my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the

  19. truth will set you free. That is the foundational scripture

  20. we've been using. Yes, there are other scriptures, but this

  21. is what bishops started us with. And we have even

  22. gone on from there to really delve deep into discipleship

  23. and what it means to be a disciple.

  24. So Jesus said to.

  25. Those Jews who had believed in him, if you abide

  26. in my word, hold fast to my teachings, and live

  27. in accordance with them, living in accordance.

  28. Obeying, obeying his word.

  29. If you abide in his word and you live in

  30. accordance with his teachings, you are truly my disciples thirty two.

  31. And you will know the truth, and the truth will

  32. set you free. Thank God for his word, a meth

  33. word of God is blessed. So the word abide means

  34. to continue believing what he has said and walking in

  35. obedience to what he has said. It tells us that

  36. the walk of discipleship requires commitment, commitment. If you abide,

  37. if you continue. It is not sometimey, it's not when

  38. you feel like it. It's not when it's convenient, but

  39. that it is a consistent walk. It is a consistent

  40. approach perspective to abide, to continue believing what he has said,

  41. and to walk in obedience to what he has said.

  42. It's not one or the other. It's both.

  43. You continue believing and you continue walking in obedience too.

  44. Amen.

  45. We also we spoke that if you are a disciple,

  46. your assignment is to go out there and win souls.

  47. If we are everybody here believes in Jesus Christ, then

  48. we are not just Christians, which is a term that

  49. is loosely used these days for people who follow Christ,

  50. who teach, who follow the teachings or believe in the

  51. teachings of Christ. But you must graduate to discipleship, which

  52. means you continue, you abide in it, and that is

  53. what makes you truly a believer, a disciple of Christ.

  54. So in doing that you translocate, if you will, you

  55. graduate from just being a Christian, which is anyone who

  56. calls the name of Christ these days, into becoming a disciple.

  57. But the job of discipleship you to go out there

  58. and to minister. It is not just the job of

  59. the pastor or the bishop, the overseer. It is each

  60. and everyone who is called who now believes, who is

  61. abiding in his word and obeying what he has said.

  62. Don't your neighbor and say, if you're a disciple, then

  63. your assignment is to go out there and win souls,

  64. to witness to others so they can come into the kingdom.

  65. Amen.

  66. So if you abide in my word, you are truly

  67. my disciples. So the focus today is on some of

  68. the principles that are inherent or required in discipleship. We've

  69. already talked about the meaning of the word abide, which

  70. means to continue believing what Jesus said and to walk

  71. in obedience. But it requires commitment as well, to stick

  72. to his ways, to stay in his word, which brings

  73. illumination and revelation. See, Jesus Christ is the word and

  74. the only way you can be delivered being set free.

  75. What are you being set free from? From sin and

  76. the bondage of sin? See, it is he alone that

  77. has the power and the authority to deliver you from sin.

  78. He died for your sake to bring you salvation. He

  79. paid the price, so you belong to him, and it

  80. is he who can deliver you from sin. But Jesus

  81. Christ is the Word. In the beginning was and the words,

  82. and the word was okay. And Jesus Christ says, if

  83. you see me, you've seen the Father. I and my

  84. Father are one. We believe in the Tryan God, God,

  85. the Father, God, the Son God, the Holy Spirit. So

  86. Jesus Christ is God. But it is he that can

  87. deliver you from it. So he is saying that if

  88. you abide in my word, if you abide in me, okay,

  89. and you continue believing what I have said, and you

  90. walk in obedience to what I've said, then you will

  91. be set free. The only way to be set free

  92. from the entanglement of sin, the bondage.

  93. Of sin, is if you.

  94. Believe in Jesus Christ and you walk in discipleship, if

  95. you obey what he said. It's not enough to just

  96. hear the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the

  97. word of God. But faith without works is dead. So

  98. once you hear the word, you must act on the word,

  99. and you must obey the word, live by the word.

  100. And he's saying that when you've heard it, and if

  101. you're really walking in obedience, then what I'm telling you

  102. is for you to go out there, if you are

  103. really my disciple, to go out there and minister witness

  104. to others so that they can also be delivered.

  105. Amen.

  106. So to stay in his word brings illumination and revelation.

  107. His word reveals the truth, which is Jesus. Jesus is

  108. the truth. He doesn't have the truth. He is the truth,

  109. which Jesus says, will set you free. It is the

  110. Truth that says you free. It is Jesus, in other words,

  111. that sets you free. Amen commitment to the process of

  112. undergoing a total personal transform that is one of the

  113. signs of discipleship. It begins with you accepting Christ. That

  114. is the beginning of your total transformation. It begins with repentance,

  115. turning away from sin. But in all of this you

  116. need the Holy Spirit. It is he that's going to

  117. empower you because you cannot save yourself. Paul says, Look,

  118. I know what is right, and I always want to

  119. do what is right. But even when I go to

  120. do what is right, sin is right there. Because there's

  121. always a battle between the flesh and the spirit. The

  122. flesh normally signs with your soul, your emotions, your intellect,

  123. all of that stuff. But God doesn't deal with your flesh.

  124. He has no dealings with your flesh. It is your spirit,

  125. the spirit that He put in you. That is what

  126. bears witness. That is why the right order is Spirit

  127. over your mind or your flesh or your soul, not

  128. the other way around. Because the flesh profiteth nothing. Nothing

  129. good can come from the flesh, but The right alignment

  130. is for your spirit to be inligned with what God says.

  131. To be a disciple, abide in Him and obey not

  132. one or the other is not a choice, it is

  133. both together.

  134. Amen. So then.

  135. Undergoing a total personal transformation, which comes by abiding in

  136. the world, having faith in his word, and aligning.

  137. With the will of God.

  138. So total transformation, transformation in your values, your character, your mindset,

  139. your thought patterns, behavior, believes to become more like Christ.

  140. See where you take on the mind of Christ, you

  141. start to do things the way Christ would.

  142. You start to see things from Christ's perspective.

  143. And even as you go along, you ask, okay, when

  144. you encounter situations, what would Jesus do?

  145. How would he handle this?

  146. Because if you are his, then you're in him and

  147. you're abiding in him, and you're walking in obedience to

  148. his word, then you would want to take on his personality,

  149. his characteristics, and to become more christ Like. That is

  150. the evidence that you are a disciple. It is not

  151. when you feel like it or when it's convenient, Amen,

  152. which he reveals to us in and through his word. See,

  153. the only place you're going to find your true identity

  154. is in the word.

  155. Papa told us last week.

  156. When the manufacturers make a car, they put a manual

  157. in there so that when you buy the car and

  158. you the manual, you get the best use of card.

  159. So when the light comes on on your dashboard and

  160. it's a picture of the engine, you know there's an

  161. issue there. If the picture of the gas pump lights up,

  162. it means you're about to run out. If the little

  163. circle with the exclamation mark comes there, you know there's

  164. a problem with your tire. So if you do not

  165. read the manual, you do not get the best use

  166. of the vehicle because you don't know what the science mean.

  167. Same thing with you. The manual of the person who

  168. made you is the Bible. He has given you the

  169. manual that you must read so that you aware of

  170. your identity, what you're entitled to, and whatever situation you

  171. face in life. The answers for your life to your

  172. life are in the Bible. But you don't read the Bible.

  173. You want to come to church week after week and

  174. hear what the preacher says and hope that it will

  175. last you the week. But how about you're setting yourself

  176. up to fail because the preacher can be wrong. I've

  177. made an error once before, and thank God for a

  178. bishop who corrected my doctrine and checked it. You should

  179. always amen, you've got praise. You should always That's the

  180. thing about decided bullshit. Always be open to correction, because

  181. you're supposed to be improving. You're supposed to be pressing

  182. toward the mark. We're all working towards perfection. No man

  183. is perfect yet when Christ comes, you perfect us. But

  184. we're all marching to You're supposed to be marching towards

  185. the mark of perfection. And how are you going to

  186. do that? By reading you matter and let you know

  187. who you are, your identity, who you are, who you

  188. belong to, who paid the price for what you're entitled to.

  189. You don't even understand the power that you have. Jesus

  190. is telling us in the word that life and death

  191. is in the power of the tongue, that you can

  192. decree a thing and it shall be established. So if

  193. you really understood, or if you really took heed of

  194. what is in the manner, you wouldn't always be running

  195. to Jesus Christ for.

  196. Every little thing.

  197. Because as I've given you power to deal with this,

  198. open up your mouth.

  199. You will have what you say.

  200. That's why he says be careful because whatever you say,

  201. you're right. You're going to get what you say. You

  202. decree a thing, it shall be established. If you say, oh,

  203. I'm going to fail my exams, you shall surely fail.

  204. If you say, oh, the doctor says I've got cancer,

  205. oh I'm going to die, Yes, you will die because

  206. you spoke the Word, and.

  207. The Word has a spirit life in it.

  208. So if you abide in his word, if you abide

  209. in him, you can avoid all the troubles that you encounter.

  210. There's an answer to every situation in your life in

  211. the Bible. Amen, turn to your neighbor and tell him

  212. get into your manual. Tell him read the Bible. Study

  213. the Bible. Yeah, so, don't just read it like a

  214. story and put it down. Study it and ask the

  215. Holy Spirit to reveal because that's his job. His job

  216. as a member of the Trinity. The third personality in

  217. the Trinity is to reveal Christ to the hearts of men,

  218. to glorify and magnify Jesus Christ. So whatever you don't

  219. understand when you study the Bible, ask.

  220. Him and you will reveal it to you.

  221. But that's how you grow and that's how you stay

  222. in obedience and walk in the world.

  223. Amen.

  224. So as you abide in this world, you receive illumination

  225. and revelation for personal transformation. Now, that is one of

  226. the things that is evident in your discipleship walk, that

  227. there should be a change, There should be a mark change.

  228. People should see you and you should take on that

  229. christ like characteristic, the behavior that the presentation. So when

  230. people look at you said, is that really that you

  231. come because we remember when as much as it is

  232. or it may seem to you as an indictment, it

  233. is really a testimony because if they knew you to

  234. be X, Y, and Z, and they're the same people

  235. now saying that A, yes, there's a change, a positive change.

  236. I hope where you are showing that you are a

  237. disciple of Christ. Where it's showing that you have set

  238. free from the entanglement of sin and what they knew

  239. with you to be that reputation that you had. See.

  240. Christ is the only one who can change your image.

  241. He's an image changer. He's in the business of transforming lives.

  242. Amen. So you move into or resemble look like.

  243. You begin to take nature, take on his nature, his

  244. attributes his values. There's a shift in your mindset. So

  245. it's take on the mind of Christ. How are you

  246. going to take on the mind of Christ? If you're

  247. not in the mattle, if you're not reading, if you're

  248. not studying, if you're not getting the illumination revelation at

  249. the entrance of are the entrance of the Word? What happens?

  250. Have I hidden in my heart that I may not

  251. sin against you? If you've been studying, if you've been

  252. hiding the Word in your heart, whenever a situation comes up,

  253. you don't need to have bishop rev You have the

  254. Word in you. You have the Spirit of God in you.

  255. And if you're in the Word, you get revelation, illumination, understanding.

  256. You have the knowledge, and you apply it, you get wisdom.

  257. Say if you don't have wisdom, ask me. That's what

  258. the scripture says.

  259. But you don't know the Word.

  260. And the enemy is counting on the fact that, and

  261. he puts every obstacle in your way to make sure

  262. you don't get in the Word. When you turn on

  263. the music and you turn on the movies, you're like

  264. wide awake the moment you pick up the Bible. Why

  265. do you think that is that problem in Ashanti and Bishop,

  266. you've pardoned me if I will. It may sound a

  267. little offensive, but it's really true. It says, now grown

  268. to it. It means when the fool gets illumination, we

  269. need to means you become illuminated, you understand, you now perceive.

  270. It's the end of the game when the fool becomes wise,

  271. when it becomes knowledgeable.

  272. And it really does apply scripture.

  273. Until you get in the word and understand what the

  274. scripture is talking about and being a disciple, living it

  275. and obeying with by the you're fooling. Yeah, the Bible says,

  276. only a fool who says there's no God, So you

  277. live your life any kind of way because you think

  278. there's no God.

  279. It is only a fool.

  280. And then in the traditional parwerance it says the same thing.

  281. But when the fool becomes illuminated, when they get revelation,

  282. when they get an understanding, then the game is over

  283. because now they're not going to let you fool them anymore.

  284. But the devil is counting on that you don't get

  285. that revelation, that you don't get the illumination, so you

  286. can continue to fool. You so you don't understand who

  287. you are, your identity, whose you are, who you belong to,

  288. who paid the price for that. You don't get to

  289. understand what you're entitled to because you didn't read your.

  290. Man will Amen.

  291. Not only did you not read it, but if you

  292. don't know it, you can't give what you don't have.

  293. If you don't know it, you can't live by you

  294. cannot live in obedience to it, you cannot walk in it.

  295. So you have to start beginning to connect the dots.

  296. That paragraph or scripture we started with John eight thirty

  297. one and thirty two doesn't exist in a vacuum from

  298. that one paragraph where we're progressing to where we are

  299. starting to realize how it fits into all the different

  300. parts and sections of our life. With the predominance the

  301. fundaments of the primary objective of understanding what it means

  302. to be a disciple.

  303. Amen. So in Romans twelve, Vers.

  304. One and two are possib All tells us he emphasizes

  305. being personally transformed by the renewing of your mind to

  306. take on the mindset of Christ, so that you can

  307. discern God's will, which is God's pleasing and perfect will

  308. for your life. So your transformation, your walk, the discipleship walk,

  309. begins with the repentance, turning away from sin, turning your

  310. heart away from those things that separate you from God.

  311. And once you take that step, you take on the

  312. mind of Christ. See, you give up something and you

  313. take on something. You don't give up something and leave

  314. a void. Because the same scripture tells us when you

  315. cast out a demon and you leave that void, you

  316. don't fill it with something. You come back and this

  317. time you bring seven stronger demons. So you may have

  318. started with lying, you give it up and you repent

  319. from that, but you don't feel Now you're going to

  320. sit down and warm the pills. Not only would the

  321. line demon come back, you come with gossiping, Yeah, you

  322. come with backbiting, You come with fornication, You come with

  323. seven other demons will come with him, and they'll be stronger.

  324. You couldn't handle the one by yourself.

  325. How about his brought his How are you understand because

  326. you're not in the word, you're not really the man

  327. because you're not understanding what power you have, what you're

  328. entitled to, because you're not abiding in his word and

  329. you're not obeying and walking because that's what sets you free.

  330. When you get in the word, and the word is Christ,

  331. the Word made flesh. When you get into him, he

  332. gets into you. And once he's in you, all those

  333. things that you used to be that your friends knew

  334. you start falling off. They knew you as a liar.

  335. That falls off, they knew you as a whatever else

  336. you do that is not pleasing God. Phnicatum falls off,

  337. your lustful spirit falls off, Envy falls off, jealousy falls off.

  338. But you see, you have to understand that it's a

  339. choice you must make. He has given you the free will,

  340. but how you apply or use that free will determines

  341. what side you're own. There's no middle ground. Either you're

  342. gathering with Christ or you're scattering with the devil. So

  343. the day you hear his voice, if you choose not

  344. to yield by your choice, then you're choosing to work

  345. with the devil, work for the devil to align with

  346. his kingdom. Because if you don't, then you've repented and

  347. you're taking on the mind of Christ. You're joining the

  348. camp of Christ. There's no middle ground. But whoever you

  349. avail yourself to, they'll use you. How About when Christ

  350. takes your life. He makes something out of it. Even

  351. your friends, even your enemies, will bear witness that there's

  352. something different about you. He will take you, and he

  353. will elevate you. You go from glory to glory, but

  354. the devil take you and use you and destroy you.

  355. It comes to still kill.

  356. He's not listen.

  357. If you want to know, you know how he operates.

  358. Just don't exercise your right, your choice to be with Christ.

  359. If you don't, by default, you've chosen to work with him,

  360. and he will show you his workings. See how they

  361. can be fruit when you're in Christ. We're going to

  362. talk about that. The fruits of the spirit, that's all

  363. the fruits of the devil. That's how you know hate, envy, jealousy, murdered.

  364. My grandmother used to say, every thief, every liar is

  365. a thief, every thief is a killer. You start with lying,

  366. little little lies, you'll graduate because yes, yes, like Christ

  367. is taking you from glory to glory, the devil is

  368. taking you from one's going up, the other, one's going down.

  369. Here glory is negative glory. Amen, So choose you this

  370. day exercise that right. Understand, and it all begins with

  371. the repentance and your walk as a disciple, graduate from

  372. just being a Christian.

  373. This day is just nomenclature, something you choose on a form.

  374. Are you a Christian, You're Muslim or your Buddhism? You

  375. check one, But is your life testifying to what you

  376. have checked or is it just a title? Yes, you

  377. can take Christian. It looks good, but when I look

  378. at you Christian, you're like christ You're taking on the attribution.

  379. Are you really demonstrating that? If not, then it's just

  380. a title. But if you say you're a Christian, he

  381. wants you to now graduate from being just a Christian

  382. to being a disciple. That is where that carries the weight,

  383. because that means you're not just hearing it, you're acting

  384. on it. You're going out there and you're obeying, you're

  385. abiding in it and you're obeying, and you're going out

  386. there and fulfilling the commission. Go out there and witness, testify,

  387. win souls, just like somebody took the time to minister

  388. to you, and then you became enlightened, illuminated to make

  389. the right choice of giving your life to Christ repenting.

  390. So now you're saved, sanctified, set apart, waiting to go

  391. and meet your maker in heaven to come back to

  392. live here for a thousand years. That's what the scripture says.

  393. If the scripture is wrong, I'm wrong. Why are you

  394. looking on watching your brother and sister? Because one of

  395. those fruits is love. The fruits of the spirit have love.

  396. It's your love is one of the evidences that you

  397. are a disciple. You cannot say, Oh, I'm a decidive,

  398. praise the Lord, hallelujah.

  399. Oh I hate him. No, I can't stand him.

  400. Oh I just can't wait for him to fall in

  401. my trap. Oh who's characteristics that you disclaim? Because I

  402. don't hear God saying just wait till I get you.

  403. I hear God saying, I love you in spite of

  404. I love you so much that, in spite of all

  405. the stuff you've done, I've given my son my only Begods,

  406. I won't give you. I won't give my house life

  407. for you. Yes, I surely won't give my child for you.

  408. I love you. I praise a lot of disabimits, maybe

  409. some doing a lot of work being to that action,

  410. But I don't look forward to sacrificing my child for

  411. something that you've done. That you know you shouldn't have done.

  412. But God, somebody say, but God. But God, in his

  413. infinite mercy, gave his only given pray. If you're gonna

  414. do it, do it well. You're not doing it for me.

  415. I honestly may not worry. Even if I felt like

  416. it on a good day, I probably would change my mind.

  417. I'm not putting my head on the guilty for you

  418. love it that crabbing Amen, But Jesus went to the

  419. cross blameless, paid the price, the highest price. The spiritual

  420. room is the blood. That blood, blameless, efficacious blood that

  421. is the only thing that could atone atonement. Check out

  422. the meaning of the word. It's the only thing that

  423. could atone for the sins. It's the only thing that

  424. would pacify, that was good enough. And yet he does

  425. all of this and you still say not this week.

  426. Maybe next week. Next week when.

  427. I'm dressed and I got my you know, my swag on,

  428. and you know I'm feeling myself. Get out of your feelings.

  429. No you need but get out of your feelings. This

  430. is not about feelings. Get illumination, get revelation, get understanding.

  431. This is what you're commanded to do. It's not negotiable.

  432. So anytime you don't go with it, know that you

  433. are contravening God's plan for you. You have decided. He's

  434. giving you free choice. But trust me, whatever choice you make,

  435. there will be consequences, repercussions.

  436. So if you choose.

  437. Not to go with his word, you have chosen and

  438. that's how you be that Listen, it's not so much

  439. the sins that are going.

  440. To take you to hell.

  441. It's your rejection of Jesus Christ, his ways, his word,

  442. his prescriptions for you, out of love, not because he

  443. wants to punish you, because he wants you to get

  444. the best, choose the fullest enjoyment out of the life

  445. he has given you. Read it, study it, and if

  446. you don't understand, come to me. Come let us read

  447. them together.

  448. But you.

  449. Rather get on there, you know, and look at those

  450. dirty movies and make those have those conversations and.

  451. Not bad. But there's no.

  452. Room you have to if we tell you to go

  453. in scripture, are going to Google trying to put up

  454. that scripture because there's no Bible on your because.

  455. The other things.

  456. If Christs were to come around and say, everybody, lift

  457. up your phone and then you freeze you right there

  458. and then start scrolling through your stuff.

  459. I'll start with you. Praise the Lord or so of Amen.

  460. Dehisions for twenty one through twenty four says, if indeed

  461. you have heard him and have been taught by Him,

  462. as the truth is in Jesus, that you put off

  463. concerning your former conduct, repent you turn away the change

  464. of heart, change of mind. Put off the old man,

  465. which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts the flesh.

  466. The flesh always wants enjoyment. Flesh always wants what's convenient,

  467. what's comfortable. The loss of the flesh Amen twenty three,

  468. and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, the

  469. attitude of your mind.

  470. True worship is really a pasture of your hind And.

  471. If you really are grateful to God, if you really

  472. are in a relationship with the art, because that's what

  473. he's about relationship. If you're not in a relationship with someone,

  474. you don't go to that extent. He's a god of community,

  475. it's a god of relationship.

  476. Let us make man in our image. But he's looking

  477. for that.

  478. You would yield that free choice he gave you, that

  479. you would yield to him so that he can show

  480. you even better things. But you choose to remain. You

  481. never want to graduate from class one. You're twenty and

  482. you ain't class one, Class one, Papa. When I was

  483. a christ A kid, I got to classics before we

  484. took our common interest. I met a young man and

  485. I don't want to call his name because he might

  486. still be somewhere in this world. Somebody may might have

  487. just watched this one day. His first name was Joe.

  488. When we got to classics, Joe was there, and apparently

  489. he had been there a couple of times. His parents

  490. were quite influential, so he had repeated and repeated. Joe

  491. was tall and hairy, and he looked like a bro,

  492. you know bro. But we came to meet joining classics

  493. and we had the rose A row seven B Rose seven.

  494. So we got graded thirty five in a class and

  495. Joe was he thirty five. He stayed at the last desk.

  496. He had been there a couple of years before we

  497. got there. That's what you're trying to say. I want

  498. to stay in my E thirty five. I don't want

  499. to graduates showing you a better way? Are you still

  500. because you don't want to be your disciple. You don't

  501. want to commit and you don't want that personal transformation

  502. because that's the evidence. So in order to grow in faith,

  503. grace and knowledge us prescribed in tewod Zza Three and eighteen,

  504. we must immerse ourselves in the Word of God and

  505. practice the Word. That's what you're going to acquire from

  506. the Word, because faith with our works is dead.

  507. You're going to acquire the faith.

  508. Faith comes by hearing, hearing the word, studying the word,

  509. knowing the word, living by the word, taken on the

  510. attributes of Christ, taken on the very nature of Christ.

  511. You're refusing to progress when you refuse to do that,

  512. and that means your transformation doesn't happen. You're short circuiting

  513. your transformation, as prescribed in Firstimity four fifteen. I'm not

  514. reading the scripture because I'm trying to spet up and

  515. close up. So Bishop can bless us.

  516. In our quest for personal transformation.

  517. It is not enough to just acquire the basic principles

  518. of faith, but we must also apply what we learn

  519. or acquire so that we weigh mature, mature same maturity.

  520. You cannot be fed on milk. You must mature to

  521. look If you have a child and the child is

  522. twenty and still drinking milk, it's an error. There's an abnormality.

  523. You cannot be a baby Christian forever. You must graduate

  524. to eat the strong meat. That's why you get teeth.

  525. The baby comes with no teeth. That's the period for milk.

  526. When it starts showing them a little bruning, it starts

  527. testing on your fair biting.

  528. It's time for meat.

  529. There are signs in the natural cycle, so it is

  530. in your spiritual cycle. You must mature. Turn your neighbor

  531. and say, mature more. Pump is a side. You must

  532. mature in the understanding and application of God's word. In

  533. all of this, it is the Holy Spirit. The Holy

  534. Spirit is essential. He is the power, the actual man

  535. of the Trinity, and it is he who gives us

  536. the power to change. By the revelation of who Christ is.

  537. There is evidence of his work in the transformation process,

  538. evidence collectively identified as fruit of the spirit. Turns your

  539. neighbors say you must bear fruit as a disciple. There

  540. must be fruit. What about the parable for that tree

  541. that was not burying any fruit? What the Christ do?

  542. What did Christ do? Don't occupy space, don't just occupy

  543. a pew. That means you don't understand your assignment. Go

  544. out and win souls, discipleship. Go out there and exhibit

  545. present the christ like nature, the mindset, the perspective of Christ.

  546. Let others see the Christ in you. It wasn't given

  547. to you to hide to sit on. Then you have

  548. brought to not all of that power, all that, all

  549. the blood he shed, You have made nothing of it.

  550. You can't make a fool of Christ. You make a

  551. fool of yourself. So if you think, okay, I'm just

  552. gonna sit here and just be a quiet Christian, be good.

  553. When you get up there, it's gonna ask you. Okay,

  554. So you accepted Jesus Christ, And what did you do?

  555. Because qwame out there was waiting for you to come

  556. and minister to him, to witness to him so that

  557. you could accept.

  558. But because you.

  559. Didn't show up, you were not in your place. Quime

  560. didn't receive the illumination, the revelation so that he can yield,

  561. so that there could be a transformation. So Quame died

  562. in a sense, the blood will be required of you. Yeah,

  563. when you get there, everybody that you were meant to

  564. minister too, that you decided wasn't important because your nails

  565. were getting on your head, it was getting done. Your

  566. swag wasn't right, so you don't want to oh sah.

  567. You decided what was more important that the agenda of

  568. Christ for your life, that you become an effective deciple

  569. that bears fruit. Now the fruits of the spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness.

  570. But the one I think we have the biggest problem

  571. with self control. Somebody says the wrong thing to you,

  572. as much of the Christ that you have.

  573. In you, you clap back. You're talking to me.

  574. Let's take this outside. Oh you, oh, come on, no

  575. self control fly off. They say something wrong to you,

  576. may not even mean it that way. You take offense.

  577. Whose character are you displaying? Whose spirit? Whose image? Who

  578. is your master? Because it comes through.

  579. Look at it at the ship.

  580. She thinks she's all that. She got some new head

  581. this week. So roll your eyes until your eyes get

  582. stuck in the back of your head. See this guy, Jelly,

  583. It affects me while I look at because you go

  584. Jim's wait from gradually.

  585. Maybe it's envy, Maybe it's jealousy. Whose character, whose.

  586. Characteristics are you displaying disciple of whom? Yeah, you can

  587. be a disciple of Christ and you can be the

  588. disciple of Gonyu who. So I'm going to end here,

  589. but in our disciple discipleship walk, the one important thing

  590. that I can't stress enough, omen is your understanding of

  591. your assignment. Now you're not just a Christian the title nomenclature.

  592. You are to graduate too, mature from being just a

  593. Christian because anybody can call themselves Christian. Now it doesn't

  594. carry the weight that it did when Paul and Barnabas

  595. were in Antioch, when they were first called Christians, because

  596. they resembled Christ spiritually and in the natural. Two these days,

  597. you must now be a disciple for those things, the

  598. fruits of the spirit, to matter, to be shown, to

  599. be exhibited. So I invite you today to consider, in fact,

  600. not just to consider. I'm not appealing to you. You

  601. are commanded. Turn to you the man say you're commanded.

  602. That is your commission. If you say you believe in

  603. Jesus Christ, that is your commission to go out there

  604. and be a disciple. I hope you've been burssed.

  605. And if you are blessed, if you're here and you

  606. are not a disciple.

  607. If you have not given your life to Christ, you

  608. don't have time to dwell on it today.

  609. I want church. I want you to pray.

  610. If you're here and you've not decided to accept Jesus

  611. Christ as your lord and savior, please come. You don't

  612. know what's going to happen in the next five minutes.

  613. I pray long life, good health for you. But God

  614. can call you home. It is his prerogative. It's in

  615. his purview and time to decide if this is your day.

  616. Only he knows.

  617. Your mother doesn't know, your father doesn't know, I don't know,

  618. your friends don't know, your siblings don't know. If you're

  619. here and you don't know Him and the pardon of

  620. your sins as your Lord and savior, I invite you

  621. to come.

  622. Come now.

  623. The day that you hear his voice, harden not your heart,

  624. because they will be required of you on the day

  625. of accountability. You heard the word I was calling you

  626. to discipleship, to our higher relationship, but you chose to

  627. remain in immaturity. Please come, anyone. It's not time to

  628. worry about how you look or who is watching on

  629. that day. It's going to be you and God alone.

  630. Nobody's going to be there. Your mom won't be there,

  631. your dad won't be There's going to be you and God,

  632. and you will give account for the life that He

  633. has given you. Come now, please, It is the first

  634. step repentance and away from your old ways and take

  635. on a new image, take on the mind of Christ.

  636. Please come, anyone, so everybody here is saved. Jesus Christ

  637. is your Lord and savior. You've given your life to Christ,

  638. and you know if he comes right now, you're going

  639. back with him. Anyone here, way in the back, Praise

  640. the Lord. Everybody here. Five minutes from now, he can

  641. call you home. Where are you going? If you haven't

  642. chosen him by your free will, you're either with Christ or.

  643. You're with the devil. There's no middle ground.

  644. If you have a choice today, a chance today, and

  645. you said I'll wait till next week, that means you've

  646. rented your body to the Satan for one week. And

  647. if the Lord allows you to see the week, then

  648. you're saying, I'm giving Satan use of my vessel.

  649. This week until next week. That's what you're saying. Anybody,

  650. Everybody here saved. Everybody here saved well church. Praise God.

  651. That's all. Give God a hand out for praise.
