I thank God for the opportunity to stand before you
-
this morning. I thank my Bishop for giving me this
-
chance because he would be here himself. But now I
-
want to pray that the Holy Spirit come, So you
-
pray with me that it would come take precedence so
-
that he would give to me to give to you
-
what he wants you to have. And I pray that
-
he will prepare your hearts and your minds so that
-
you receive what he's giving this morning. We always talk
-
about breakfast being the best and the most important meal
-
of the day. This is the breakfast that you need today.
-
So it made the Holy Spirit come and feed you
-
that which will make you grow spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally,
-
that which will bring you balance. The song we just
-
sang and said we will work, we will work for
-
the Lord. So may there be illumination, revelation, understanding, so
-
that you understand, you come to really grasp what it
-
is the assignment is. May you be blessed as the
-
word goes forth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
-
For his sake. Amen, you may take your seats. So
-
just a word, what the topic I'm going to talk
-
on this morning would have been what our bishop would
-
have been teaching after service, but he wants it this
-
way so that nobody's left out. So we're going to
-
teach what he would have been teaching at service, so
-
that everybody here, because the church as a whole needs
-
to get this. The assignment is not for some, it's
-
not for the pastors, it's not for the select few,
-
but for everybody. So he just wanted to give you
-
that message. A title today is still in keeping with discipleship,
-
but the theme or title for the message today is
-
building micro churches in our communities. Don't your neighbors say,
-
building micro churches in our communities? Acts Chapter two, Versus
-
forty one through forty seven tells us that the early
-
Church gathered to worship in two places, the temples, which
-
were considered public places, and in houses or homes. They
-
went from house to house Acts Chapter two, verse forty
-
one through forty seven of the Projection. Then they that
-
gladly received his word were baptized, and the same day
-
there were added onto them about three thousand souls forty two.
-
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles, doctrine, and worship
-
and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in
-
prayers forty three, and fear came upon every soul, and
-
many wondered, and many wonders and signs were done by
-
the apostles forty four. And all that believed were together
-
and had all things common, and sold their possessions and goods,
-
and parted them to all men, as every man had needed.
-
And they continued daily with one accord, somebody say, one
-
accord in the temple, and in breaking bread from house
-
to house, did eat their meat with glass, madness and
-
singleness of heart forty seven. Praising God and having favor
-
with all the people, and the Lord added to the
-
church daily such as should be saved. Tell your neighbor.
-
We gather in temples, and we gather in houses or
-
homes in men. So, in keeping with our title today
-
building micro churches in our communities, we're going back to
-
what our original assignment was. Matthew twenty eight and nineteen
-
says Jesus said, go and make disciples of all nations.
-
Go and make disciples of all nations. But from our
-
foundational scripture which we started with, which was John eight
-
thirty one and thirty two, the key phrase that we
-
kept dwelling on was If you abide in my word,
-
then you are truly my disciples. If you abide in
-
my word, this is Jesus talking. We know that from
-
dealing with that scripture a couple of weeks ago. If
-
you abide in my word, then you are truly my disciples.
-
And the word abide means to continually believe in Jesus's
-
word and also to walk in obedience to him. Say
-
walk in obedience to him. It is not enough to
-
just hear the word and believe the word. Faith without
-
works is dead, but you must hear it, believe it,
-
and walk in obedience to the word. So a disciple,
-
then is an obedient follower who believes in Jesus's word.
-
Is an obedient follower who believes in Jesus's word. Now,
-
there is a difference between being a convert and being
-
a disciple. When you hear the Word and you receive
-
it gladly, you accept him, you are converted. The Holy
-
Spirit comes to convict you and gives you that prompting
-
you open up. You receive it and you are converted.
-
But conversion is not enough. It's the first step. You
-
must graduate from being converted to becoming a disciple, a
-
convert must be turned into a follower, and a follower
-
must learn, which means they must be The follow must learn.
-
And the follow who learns and adheres that you keep
-
in the way of you, stick to the word, you
-
walk in the word. The follow who learns and adheres
-
to the doctrine of the apostle. And our apostle is
-
our papa. He is the one that God has let
-
our papa. Did you hear what I said? Our Papa?
-
Our apostle is our papa. Do you know who I'm
-
talking about? Our apostle is our papa. He is the
-
one that God inspired to plant the church, and he's
-
the one who is teaching us, training us, giving us
-
the doctrine so that we can mature from being just
-
a convert to being a disciple. Amen. So the follower
-
who learns and adheres to the doctrine of the apostle
-
becomes a disciple. The difference then, between the convert and
-
the disciple. A convert is one who gladly receives the
-
word when they hear it, but it is the teaching,
-
the training, and the doctrine that helps them to transition
-
into becoming a disciple t TD. Always remember that because
-
that is our foundation here at next day in church.
-
We are not just here to make comforts, because if
-
you're just converted and you're not being trained, you're not
-
being taught, and you're not being given doctrine, then you're
-
just shaky. You're not rooted, you're not established, and that
-
means anytime you have a little problem, they're going to
-
be signs amen. So always remember t TD. The training,
-
the teaching, and the doctrine. They go hand in hand.
-
You cannot do one and leave the other. That is
-
what makes you established, that is what causes you to
-
graduate from being just a convert. Anybody can be a convert,
-
but what is it they do after becoming a convert.
-
That's what is important. The main reason why the church
-
is not growing in this modern day is because there
-
are a lot of converts who are not being taught,
-
trained and receiving the right doctrine. They are not deep
-
in the knowledge and remain very shallow, still quite carnal.
-
Because when you're converted, it doesn't mean everything that you
-
learn in the world falls off. You have received enlightenment,
-
you have received something that has shown you a different way,
-
but you're not yet walking in it. So the old man,
-
somebody say, the old man still exists. And until you
-
replace the old man with the training, the teaching, and
-
the doctrine which will cause you to transition, you will revert.
-
Somebody say, revert, revert back to your kernel and worldly behavior,
-
and you will not be committed in your walk. You see,
-
it is the training, the teaching, and the doctrine that
-
causes you to graduate. But it also helps you to
-
be committed because once you have the understanding of what
-
the training, the teaching, and the doctrine the TTD. Once
-
you have that understanding, you understand what your purpose is.
-
It's not just a fraternity or sorority that you join,
-
a social gap that you come every Sunday. It's not
-
supposed to be. So if that's your understanding, then ten
-
gentlemen say you need to graduate. If your understanding is
-
we meet Hea every Sunday and just have a good
-
time and then go back to whatever we're doing and
-
then just wait for next Sunday, then you need to
-
get a different kind of revelation. Amen. So many do
-
not even own a Bible. Yes, there are many converts
-
because don't forget. The life they knew before hearing the
-
Word was worldly. They were colonel secular, if you will.
-
They were not in the church. The Word was not
-
in them. They did not know a better way. They
-
had not being taught, they're not being trained. But they
-
heard a word, and the Holy Spirit convicted their hearts
-
and receive the word. But they must now graduate. Something
-
must take place, must fill that void, must replace the
-
things that they knew before. They must unlearned things of
-
the world and learn of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-
So many do not even own a Bible, and if
-
they happen to own one, they do not even know
-
how to apply the word. Move from book to book
-
in the Bible to understand, to connect the dots, to
-
see what this whole discipleship thing is about. Mark four March,
-
Chapter four, Versus sixteen and seventeen. And these are they likewise,
-
which are sown on stony ground, who, when they have
-
heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness seventeen and
-
have no root. Turned to your neighbor and say, no root.
-
Converts have no roots. They've received it gladly, but they
-
are not planted converts have no roots and have no
-
roots in themselves, and so endure, but for a time afterward,
-
when affliction or prosecution arises for the word's sake, immediately
-
they are offended. This is how you know when someone
-
is mature, when someone is a disciple, when someone is established,
-
when someone has an understanding of the assignment. If they
-
are not, and they remain just a convert coming to
-
this fraternity meeting, this social gathering where we just happen
-
to talk about Christ. If they don't have that understanding,
-
that revelation, that illumination, if they haven't had that caress
-
moment when it's like the lights come and it's like, oh,
-
that's what that's about. This is how they behave Any
-
challenge that comes up, the slightest thing, any slight correction,
-
just hold the who do you think you are? I
-
came here by myself. You're going to tell me what
-
to do as all of is. Maybe a main person
-
will be a best chemi school. It don't come and bring.
-
That's the sign. When the slightest trouble comes, they fall
-
off because they are not rooted. They haven't gotten the
-
understanding of what the training, the teaching and the doctrine
-
requires of them to be an effective disciple. Converts are
-
or become miracle admirers, chasers, miracle chasers. They move from churchure, Hey,
-
I hear this prophety shop. He's at and so church.
-
They're there. He's at the stadium, they're there. They're looking
-
just for those things, miracle admirers and chasers. They are
-
prophecy seekers. Hey this one day you can tell me.
-
I'm looking for the I'm looking for a prophet to
-
tell me when my next breakthrough is coming. How about
-
SEEKI first the kingdom. Understand that your relationship with God,
-
making him the priority, his assignment to go out and
-
preach to all the nations, his assignment. That you don't
-
be a pure warmer. After you've heard the word, you
-
go out and you make disciples, After you received the training,
-
the teaching and doctrine, it is time for you to
-
go to work. We will what's on the derees, they're saying,
-
working for who? Which kingdom? That's the question, because if
-
you're working for the Kingdom of God, then he has
-
given you a blueprint what he expects of you, what
-
you're supposed to have to be effective out there. To
-
fulfill your commission. Don't forget. And I said it last week,
-
there's no middle ground. If you are with him, you're
-
gathering with him. If you're not, then you're scattering. You
-
cannot be just a nice Christian and just medium and
-
pass him. Even in your day to day work, problems
-
will come. But it is your conviction, your understanding, your training,
-
the teaching you have received that will let you know
-
that His word says, this too shall pass whatever you're
-
facing now, whatever, no matter what the circumstances look like,
-
if you understand this word, if you're in this word,
-
if you're opening that Bible, he said all things, all things,
-
what for the good of them who do what and
-
what according to His purpose as a disciple. So you
-
understand that no matter what comes up, it is even
-
the things that you consider negative working together for you good.
-
He will call all of creation to conspire together to
-
work in your favor. Whatever situation you find yourself in,
-
God can change suddenly. Tell your neighbor suddenly, yes. But
-
it is your commitment, your relationship, your understanding of your assignment.
-
That is what gives you the confidence so you don't
-
fall off. That is what plants you. You're not just
-
growing attached to some rock so somebody can just pull
-
you out. You are rooted, grounded, So if they try
-
pulling you out, they have to yank some earth, They
-
have to go through something to try and pull you out.
-
And the more you abide, the harder it is for
-
you to be shaken, to be moved when situations come up. Amen.
-
So converts become miracle admirers, chasers of prophecy, prophecy seekers, cheerleaders, supporters,
-
and dancers with no meaning of no consequence. You're in them.
-
They are doing this, So let's do it. They're going,
-
let's go. Why are you doing it? Ah, we are
-
doing it. This is what we are doing. You don't
-
even understand. As a result, the converts don't follow or
-
stay for a long time. As the scripture says, they
-
cannot endeal. Don't you never say and deal? Tell your
-
neighbor and deal. The only way you're going to be
-
able to endeal if you stay in the world and
-
you accept receive their training, their teaching, and the doctrine,
-
that is what will help you to endeal. If you're
-
not adhering to it, if you're not abiding in his word,
-
and walking in obedience to His word. There is is
-
not negotiable. It's not today ask for today, I feel
-
like being a good Christian, so I'm going to obey.
-
It's not you know today you know your man or
-
someone to fought to Entinke Acroncer. Just no, it doesn't
-
work the way commitment. Don't you never say commitment, abide, abide.
-
It is only the application of the principles of the
-
Word of God, the training, the teaching, and the doctrine.
-
It is only the application of the Word of God
-
that can ensure your transformation from being just a convert
-
into a true follower or disciple. This is the only
-
way the sheep can gain more understanding of their newfound
-
life in Christ and to gain or acquire the stability
-
they need. Don't your neighbors say, get some stability. You see,
-
you don't want to be moved by everything that comes.
-
This is what is happening in the economy today. Everybody
-
say everything is had, everything is hard, and then tomorrow
-
they say, oh, Petro has Gondas, so everything is good.
-
Oh today everything is good. You are just wavering. Your
-
your your your dictator. Your life is being dictated by circumstances.
-
But how about you need to have some stability, and
-
the only way you're going to get it is to
-
transition from being a convert into a disciple, a follower,
-
one who a bias, one who has accepted, walks in
-
obeys the teachings, the training and the word doctrine. The
-
concept of the micro churches, our cells in all our communities,
-
which is in keeping what the title is, the title
-
of the world is for today, can be found in
-
the early New Testament Church, under the inspiration and guidance
-
of the Holy Spirit, where they met or assembled in temples,
-
public places, and also from house to house. In these days,
-
they did not have large meeting places like we have
-
now we have stadia. We have. Thank the Lord for instruction.
-
The one thing, because I have a great bead, I
-
know everything. Thank the Lord for bishop's life. Come on,
-
give go us some praise. Even while it's going on,
-
the Holy Spirit. He doesn't give revelation to just one person.
-
But there is a head. Amen. It is important for
-
you to understand. We have public places, the temples where
-
we're meeting. Let's call this a temple, but each and
-
every one of us has a home. We go to
-
our own communities, and our homes are dwelling places belong
-
in communities where we live. That is what the scripture
-
is talking about. The micro churches. It is not just
-
here in this cecary that is designated for meetings. That's
-
how the Holy Spirit inspired the early church to grow.
-
It was a blueprint that the Holy Spirit gave and
-
it comes by those meetings in houses, going from house
-
to house. We have a meeting in your house, a
-
few of us in that community we join, you have
-
one in your house. It is all part of the
-
work that we are talking about. But when we meet,
-
what goes on there the teaching, the training, and the doctrine,
-
because that is the only way the church is going
-
to grow as God desires it to grow. So we
-
have to understand that. Don't just look forward to coming
-
here on Sundays. When you're away from here, after service
-
is over and you go back, you must still do
-
the work, the assignment, the commission. You said you work
-
for the Kingdom of God. It is not just when
-
you're in this building that's putting a limitation on it.
-
But wherever you find yourself in your community, in your home,
-
we're not saying, open up and have five hundred people.
-
If you can contain it, great four or five here,
-
ten here, fifteen here, it's a church. The scripture says,
-
where two are what who is there? The Lord is
-
in your mist That's the church. You and I. We
-
are the church, not the building, the temple. The sanctuary
-
is nice, but you're the church. If we put the
-
structure here and none of us show up here, it
-
is just a structure. We can use it for anything.
-
They can't play soccer in the air. They can do anything.
-
But it is us who are carrying the spirit of God,
-
coming together and finding the common ground and being inspired
-
by the Holy Spirit, being taught the Word, being taught
-
the principles. That's what makes us the church. Amen. So
-
the concept of microchurches or cells in all communities can
-
be found in the early New Testament church, under the
-
inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit, where they met
-
assembled in the temples, and also from house to house.
-
In these days, they did not have large public places
-
for meetings like we have this day. By the inspiration
-
and direction of the Holy Spirit, the church grew dramatically
-
from one hundred and twenty people in the Upper Room
-
Experience to three thousand in Acts, Chapter two, verse forty one.
-
Acts Chapter two, verse forty one. This shows what happens
-
when we follow the blueprint, when we have our meetings
-
in you know, homes, small gatherings. Then they that gladly
-
received his word were baptized, and the same day they
-
were onto them. About how many? About how many? From
-
one hundred and twenty people meeting in the Upper Room
-
receiving the power the Holygos when they went out in small, small,
-
small groups in their communities, ministered shared the word, the teaching,
-
the training, and the doctrine was going forth same day,
-
not one year, not one month. The word is wrong,
-
then I'm wrong. It says what his word were baptized
-
and what the same day that were added onto them.
-
About three thousand. If each and everyone takes it upon
-
us ourselves in our community to hold these small gatherings,
-
little groupings, sharing the word, the training, the teaching, the
-
doctrines are going forth, this is what can happen in
-
the day. How many of us are in here, Let's say,
-
what about three hundred? That's awful as to how many
-
do you think? How many? About three hundred? So let's
-
just take out even the toddlers and the children, because look,
-
when you read the scripture, Jesus was in the temple
-
about his father's business. How old was he twelve? You
-
have understanding, you have reasoning. But if you've received the teaching,
-
the training, and the doctrines at even at twelve, you
-
can get there. You sock up your buddies and your girls,
-
the ones you play that I'm paid with. You can
-
wherever it's not that dad, he can jump. So you
-
can have these meetings and share the word, break the word,
-
and the Holy Spirit will be among you because you're
-
uthering in his name. Were two or three or more,
-
it can go forth, and you'll be surprised that come
-
next week, if we were all doing this, we can
-
all come with the people who have received, the converts
-
who have received, So we can come here receive the
-
training that our apostle, our Papa is giving, and also
-
that our bishop is directing, the blueprint that we are
-
being given. It is the only way to grow the church.
-
So if you say you're going to work for the
-
kingdom and do the work of God, this is the
-
blueprint that you've been given. So in Uts two and
-
forty one. Three thousand were added in a day, then
-
an additional five thousand, and acts Chapter four, verse four.
-
See tell you neighbor and say exponential growth. It's not linear.
-
It's not you bring one, so we grew by one.
-
He brought one. We grew by one. It's not it's exponential.
-
It's compounded. One meeting here, will you ten another? You
-
meeting here? Will you fifty another? There? Will you thee hundred?
-
It's not linear, So acts Chapter four of US four.
-
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed see
-
the converence, they hear it, they receive it, they believe it.
-
And then the number of the men was about what
-
the scripture I was talking about just the men. How
-
about the women and the children who also received the word.
-
So if the men alone five thousand came, three thousand
-
can come in one day, five thousand in a day,
-
why because they understood TTD training, teaching, doctrine, and that
-
we don't just gather in public places. We gather in
-
homes from house to house, small groupings. Amen. Then also
-
there was a multiplication of disciples. Now as chapter six,
-
verse one. If there was a multiplication of disciples, how
-
do you make disciples? The same TTD must have been
-
going on, training, teaching, and doctrine. So when we started teaching,
-
Remember I said, it wasn't reserved for the preacher alone. Discipleship,
-
making disciples wasn't just for the preacher, the one standing
-
in the pulpit, each and every one of us. If
-
we have heard the word, like John chapter eight says,
-
if we have heard it, we believe it, we receive it,
-
we abide in it, walk in obedience to it. While
-
we're receiving the TTD, you are now a disciple and
-
your assignment is to go out there and to share
-
the word, share the good news. So the scripture is
-
telling us that discipleship, even the disciples grew because the training,
-
the teaching, and the doctrine was going on. They had
-
to have been given the doctrine and the training for
-
the number of disciples to increase. That means they're more
-
laborers in the vineyard amen transitioning them from converts to disciples.
-
Doctor David Jongi cho is a man God used to
-
build the largest single church in the world using the
-
cell strategy. He observed that the mistake that the modern
-
church has made, which has caused the modern church not
-
to grow substantially is that passes and ants have departed
-
from the Holy Spirit inspired method of building the church,
-
which is gathering in temples as well as in homes.
-
How many of you have heard of younger chwo How
-
many of you have heard about cells? Cells? It is
-
like the basic unit, the most fundamental unit of a church.
-
It's a cell. It's a small grouping, but that is
-
what brings the growth when we're all doing the same thing.
-
Going from here, when received the training and the doctrine
-
and the teaching, don't just go shot your Bible. If
-
you took notes, shut the book till next week and
-
then go about your because then you're only a convert.
-
That means the old man is still there. You just
-
come to hear shall feel good. You're looking for the prophecy.
-
You're chasing you, you're cheerleading, you're dancing, wing the muka.
-
There's no fruit. We are required to bear fruit, buy
-
their fruits. Usual what don't your neighbors say, what fruit
-
are you burying? Ask them are you bearing any fruit?
-
Because this is how we're supposed to do it. This
-
is what we're assigned to do to come receive the training,
-
the teaching and the doctrine, and to go back out
-
there in small groupings in our homes, in our communities,
-
share the word. Why I ask your neighbor, why do
-
you share the word? Is it that you're ashamed? Is
-
it that you're what? You're shy? I believe scripture tells
-
us he just said, if you are, if you're what?
-
If you're ashamed of me here in front of men,
-
you're you're worried about men. The same scripture tells us
-
it is a fearful thing to fall to the wraps
-
of God. You are worried about men. Men can't do
-
anything to you or for you, but the one who
-
made you, who has assigned you, who has given you
-
this assignment to go out there and preach, share the
-
good word. After you have committed to receiving the training,
-
the teaching and the doctrine. It's important you can't just
-
go out there and say anything. You must know, you
-
must have understanding, and it's going to come by applying yourself,
-
allowing yourself to go through the process. Because each and
-
every one of us, you're a church, you, me, you
-
and you and you were all so the only way
-
we're going to do this is if we follow the blueprint,
-
just like the Holy Spirit inspired doctor Younge Child to
-
do the largest church Mischell, how many can we in
-
a number? How many members worldwide? Did they have eight
-
hundred thousand members? Fifty thousand cells from one man who
-
was obedient to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Each
-
if each and every one of us followed the example
-
of younger Child, just one building these cells, you go
-
out there, you share, you convert, and they come in
-
their trained to become disciples, and then they go out
-
and do the same thing. Like I said, it's not
-
linear growth we're looking at it's exponential growth. One day,
-
three thousand and if you are three hundred of us
-
here and we're all doing it, you bring your three thousand,
-
I bring my three thousand, and he brings us three thousand.
-
You think one person can make a difference in the natural,
-
it's impossible. It seems impossible. But when there's the Holy
-
Spirit's inspiration, it is the Holy Spirit that gives the inspiration,
-
and he gives the increase. The church belongs to God.
-
The church belongs to God. And if you say you're
-
going to do his work, then you have to understand.
-
But it all begins with first hearing the word, receiving
-
the word, and being converted. So as I come to
-
a close, if there's anybody here today who has heard
-
this word, this is what we're the direction of next
-
year church, this is what our assignment is. This is
-
what we're going to be doing. Our bishop is going
-
to be teaching us, giving as the training, the teaching
-
and the doctrine. Because we're not just coming here dressed
-
up looking all nice. It's good, but what where's the fruit?
-
On the day of accountability, God is going to ask
-
us you heard the word, you received it, you got converted.
-
But if you bought no food, then you are just
-
a convert. So you determine what level you're at. Have
-
you graduated from being a convert to becoming a disciple,
-
a follower, following hard, abiding, being obedient to what the
-
world says. You're not just sitting down there hearing the
-
word and then okay, you received it. You get happy.
-
But when you get out there and you see your friends,
-
people in your community, your co workers, your fellow students,
-
if you're on campus and you do not bother to
-
open up your mind and say, listen, I have some
-
good news. There's something I've been exposed to that has
-
changed my life. So come, let me share this with you. You
-
want to keep this selfishly? How about if somebody didn't
-
share the word with you, if somebody had ap preached
-
to you for you to receive, you would have still
-
been in your old state. You would have still ruled
-
by your flesh. I've still being carnal, but somebody took
-
the time. I'm taking the time to share with you today.
-
If there's anybody here who hasn't accepted Jesus Christ as
-
your Lord and savior, this is the first tip. You
-
hear it. It's a good word. It is triggered something
-
in you. You are convicted in your spirit, not condemned.
-
There is a difference. Is the enemy who comes to
-
condemn you make you feel like you don't belong, like
-
you don't qualify to be here. But Christ says, if
-
you hear it this day, hear my word, you believe it.
-
You receive a call on my name. You accept me,
-
you shall be saved. So there's anybody here under the
-
sound of my voice, if you do not know the
-
Lord Jesus Christ as your lord, and Savior, please come.
-
It is the first step towards becoming a disciple, towards
-
this becoming a worker in the kingdom. You said you
-
would work for him, you would do his work. This
-
is the first step. You cannot just get up from
-
being a non believer and who has not been converted
-
and go out there and start doing it. Time to
-
every say this process. Yes, process is what makes you
-
grow from being just a convert to becoming a disciple.
-
You must say patterns. Yes. Bishop talked about the last
-
that patterns. It's the pattern you followed. You have to
-
follow a pattern. It's not just haphazard. You get up
-
there and then you go and say this that, you
-
go here, and then the next day, because you are
-
not rooted and grounded. Then it's the same people you
-
just spoke to the start seeing you doing what didn't want?
-
Who was just telling me about Jesus Christ? Today you
-
are coming to me. What kind of disciple are you?
-
Who are you trying to convert your fruit? Last week
-
I mentioned something about self control, the fruits of the
-
spirit kindness. If you remember, I mentioned a bunch of them,
-
but the one I stressed on was self control. Even
-
here right now, self control. You've heard this word, but
-
your mind is like just like passa Jeremy, appreciate that the
-
eight o'clock service. Some people make excuses. Okay, God, I've
-
heard it. I receive it. But let me go and
-
bury my father. He's dead. Let me go and talk
-
to my friends. You see, I'm coming to follow you.
-
I'm not going to be able to chill with them
-
for a very long time because this walk that I mean,
-
I have to be committed. Allow me to go, and
-
you know, one last time mm hmm, see, brother, let
-
me just call it one last time before I come
-
ino this thing. And since then you call you and
-
you say something to you, and let me just let
-
me just see him for the last I'm not going
-
to do anything. I just I just listened to him talk.
-
And then nine months later, that one last time can
-
destroy you. The day that you hear my voice had
-
not your heart. That one last time you can do.
-
Follow the pattern, follow the blueprint all the time. The
-
one last time, let me just do it now, I
-
will change. I won't do it again. And the devil
-
knows how to ensnare you tell your nyman say, don't
-
be ensnared. If you're hearing my voice today, if you've
-
not given your life, it is the first step. The
-
conversion is important. Once you've converted, you've heard it, you
-
receive it. Then you receive the TTD, the training, the teaching,
-
and the doctrine, which makes you an effective disciple. Don't
-
be a lukewarm disciple. You're not sure what you are.
-
There's one thing you should never be confused about. As
-
a child of God. You should never be confused about
-
your assignment. If you're not sure of anything else, do
-
not be unsure about your assignment, because if you're not
-
sure of your assignment, just by making one statement, you
-
can be totally going against the will and the word
-
of God. As a child of God, you are a
-
gatekeeper here. You're on what So if you're not sure,
-
if you're not if you haven't received the training, the teaching,
-
the doctrine, if you haven't received, you haven't sharpened your desert.
-
God can send somebody to you and you might be
-
there for that one person. I could be standing here
-
today because of one person getting saved and I could
-
just not, you know, just let it go, and that
-
person doesn't accept Jesus Christ in that one moment, I've
-
gone against the word of God because that one person
-
was supposed to be here to receive, to hear. My
-
assignment today is to ask you to tell you about
-
Jesus Christ, to ask you to accept him, to bring
-
his word so you receive, so that we can receive
-
eternal life. Yes, so that you can be a disciple.
-
So if you're here and you're saved, sanctified, set apart,
-
don't be confused about your assignment. Your priority about everything
-
else about looking nice, about you know, talking nice, walking nice,
-
being friendly. Your priority is the commission to go out
-
there and to make disciples. Nothing else. Everything else is
-
secondary to that. So don't get it twisted. If you're
-
here and Jesus Christ is not your Lord and savior,
-
I invite you to come. Judge, I need you to pray.
-
If you're in here and you've accepted Jesus Christ, you
-
need to be praying. Now. That's part of the assignment,
-
praying for others to hear, to receive, to be convicted
-
so they can come anyone. Don't be shy, don't be ashamed,
-
don't worry about what you have on. It's not about that.
-
He's concerned not about your outsider parents. Listen, people dress up,
-
look nice inside our prop look nice outside, pleasing to die,
-
but they're going straight to hell. He's concerned about your soul.
-
If he's not your lord and savior, he's not your master,
-
if he's not training you, teaching you, if you're not
-
receiving the doctrine so you can be effective out there
-
fulfilling the commission. Now's the time, anybody, I'm spending time
-
of this because it's important church. Are you praying? We
-
could all be here because of one person, and all
-
of Heaven will rejoice if that one person comes forward, anyone.
-
So all of us here are saved, all three hundred
-
of us. Everybody, he is saved. But that's an indictment
-
because if we're all saved and nobody, as minis said
-
to anyone to come, nobody has invited any sourse, then
-
we are selfish. You receive the word, you've converted, you're
-
here receiving TTD, but you haven't bothered to share with anyone. Ah,
-
don't you know that the blood will be required of you? Yeah,
-
there's somebody waiting out there. As long as you are
-
in your place sharing the word following the pattern. Everybody
-
here has saved the side. Everybody has saved. Everybody has saved.
-
You're sure if he cracks the sky right now and
-
he comes and he's taking his own back with him,
-
you're going with him or you're going to be going
-
there to plead your case. Jesus you you know I
-
told him I was. I was in churche of his
-
snel and back crying. In fact, everybody here is saved.
-
Everybody here is saved. I'm asking you on purpose because
-
this will play back for you the day that you
-
heard his voice. Everybody here saved. You're sure that's your show,
-
that's your shore. Don't be confused about your assignment. Don't
-
be confused about what side you're on. There's no middle ground.
-
No lookwarm, hot or cold. Everybody here, Hello, everybody's looking down,
-
Look up. Please, everybody he has saved. It's important because
-
I'll give account one day and tell the Lord I
-
said it to I asked them, So if you're lying,
-
was the everybody here saved? Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
-
Praise the Lord. Everybody here, everybody here, I'll give God
-
some praise in the house. Oh you can do better
-
than that. You're not clabbing for me for me, I
-
just asked the Holy Spirit to give me what he
-
wanted me to give you. So if you have received it,
-
then you know what your assignment is. That you are
-
to go out there after you receive your teaching training
-
and doctrine, to go out there and to do the work. Amen.
-
I hope you have been blessed. Thank you, Bishop
