  1. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

  2. Okay, let us get right into the world. Let us pray.

  3. Come, Holy Spirit, have your way, increase that I might decrease.

  4. Give clarity, give illumination, give understanding, bring wisdom. Help us

  5. empower us so we can go out and be disciples.

  6. Give us the understanding. Come reason with us. Talk to us,

  7. Minister to us. Prepare our hearts and our minds to

  8. be open, ready fatal ground for the seed to be planted,

  9. so that we will be able to accomplish the assignment

  10. that you've given us. We thank you now, because even

  11. before we ask, we know it is done according to

  12. your word. So receive your thanks in the mighty name

  13. of Jesus the Christ.

  14. We have prayed.

  15. Amen, Thank you Name. Thank you so much. You may

  16. be seated in the presence of the Lord.

  17. So Church. We have been talking about.

  18. Discipleship, discipleship, and even in our talks we juxtaposed being

  19. a convert to being a disciple. You see, when you

  20. come and you give your life to Christ, you have

  21. become a convert. But at the moment it happens, you

  22. do not make a complete change, a complete translocation from

  23. your status before into that. Now that you've given him

  24. your life, you have now surrendered. So now you must

  25. be taught. You must learn. You must be taught. You

  26. must learn to unlearn the things that you did. You

  27. have to put away the old man, the things that

  28. you used to do, which you can't now do because

  29. you have an understanding of who you are and who

  30. you are. So we talked about that and that the disciples,

  31. and the fact that the disciples were not just the

  32. pastors and the leaders of the shepherds. It is everyone

  33. who is in the church has giving their life to Christ.

  34. It's the first step. Now must learn, be taught, and

  35. receive doctrine so you can be in the church and

  36. just be a convert. That means you have taken the step,

  37. but you're doing nothing else. But you see, I like

  38. it to joining the army. When someone joins the army,

  39. they're not going there to just okay, I've enlisted. They

  40. give you uniforms, you'll give you your weapons, and you go

  41. and lay down in the barras and you chill. You

  42. must now follow the rules, take on certain directives and

  43. instructions that prepare you for what you've signed up for.

  44. When you give your life to Christ, you have effectively

  45. joined the army of the Kingdom of God, because, whether

  46. you realize it or not, we are at war.

  47. The enemy is looking to take souls with him into

  48. his kingdom to.

  49. Perish, to destroy, to kill, and for you to remain

  50. with him eternally. But God's kingdom is looking for you

  51. to abide eternally with him in his kingdom. So when

  52. you enter Satan's kingdom, there's an assignment. There are things

  53. that you will do. I don't know how many of

  54. you have come into contact with Satanists.

  55. They have an agenda.

  56. There are certain things that they must accomplish, and it's

  57. all aimed at destroying the Kingdom of God and the

  58. people of God. Likewise, when you join the Kingdom of God,

  59. there's an assignment for you the things that you must do.

  60. But in order to do them, you must move from

  61. just being a convert to a follower one who follows Christ.

  62. Like we talked about when we said Paul and Barnabas

  63. and Antioch followed hard after Christ, so that even the

  64. community they lived in people looked at them and said,

  65. these people, they are Christians, they are the followers of Christ.

  66. They act like Christ, they behave like Christ, they walk

  67. like Christ, they pray like Christ. Everything they do they

  68. resemble Christ, not just in the natural but even spiritually.

  69. The way they prayed, the way they made in secession,

  70. the way they fasted. So you've joined the Kingdom of God.

  71. These are your instructions now which will make you prepared.

  72. Because the commission you've joined the army, you're commissioned into

  73. a certain service. The commission that we've given us Christians

  74. is to now receive the training, the teaching, and the

  75. doctrine so we can go out and replicate ourselves when

  76. others into the kingdom, so the kingdom will grow. The

  77. only way we are going to be effective is for

  78. us to yield ourselves, to submit ourselves to the teaching,

  79. the training, and the doctrine so we can be empowered.

  80. Because you can't give what you don't have. And if

  81. you're not ready, if you're not prepared, you go out there,

  82. what are you going to tell them? You don't want

  83. to go out there and mislead people. But by your

  84. very example as a follower of Christ, the lifestyle that

  85. attributes the characteristics the values that you exhibit will be

  86. the first testimony for them to know that now he

  87. is a Christian, now she is a Christian. But more importantly,

  88. when you're out there replicating yourself, you are a disciple.

  89. So you want to move from being a convert to

  90. just a follower who's going along, to be coming a disciple.

  91. You can be a convert, you can be a believer.

  92. You know, a follower. You receive the word, and but

  93. you do nothing because the whole point of this is

  94. that you must take root, be established, be firm, be

  95. sure so that nothing moves you. Because like a young

  96. plant when it's first a seedling, when it's taking you know,

  97. roots and sprouting, it doesn't have very deep roots. So

  98. if it rains too hard, if you water too hard,

  99. you see the roots come out. It's only about this

  100. deep and falls off and old ee. So at that

  101. tender age you must handle with care. So when you

  102. first convert, you at that tender stage. But we want

  103. you to grow roots downwards so you can be anchored, established,

  104. so that when the trials and temptations of life of

  105. life comes, you won't be moved, you won't be lost,

  106. you won't be discouraged, you won't be offended, and you

  107. won't just leave the church.

  108. If you're not rooted.

  109. The other thing that can happen is that you start

  110. chasing signs and wonders and miracles.

  111. Oh I hear this past. That's good.

  112. This a miracle happening in this church. You go there, Well,

  113. this prophit is sharp. You can tell me about my future.

  114. You go there, you move to and fro because you're

  115. not established. But when you're grounded and you are being fed, taught,

  116. train and receiving doctrine, it establishes you. When a tree

  117. is well grounded, you can try to pull it down,

  118. but you're going to have some resistance because now the

  119. roots are entangled with the earth and with other roots.

  120. So it's steady.

  121. When the storms come and the winds blow, it's resilient.

  122. It may sway, but it will never be moved. But

  123. when you're not established, when you have not received the training,

  124. the teaching, and the doctrine, you will easily be moved. Amen,

  125. tell to your neighbor and say be rooted, or open

  126. up your mouth and tell them, look them in the faces.

  127. They be rooted, be grounded, be established, receive training, receive teaching,

  128. and receive the doctrine. So you can be an effective disciple.

  129. Amen. So the Great Commission in Matthew.

  130. Twenty eight and nineteen says God said, go and make

  131. disciples of all nations. That's why we're here doing this,

  132. because the commission is for you to go out there.

  133. But in order for you to go out there, you

  134. must receive the training, the teaching and the doctrine, and

  135. that prepares you from being just a convert. You must

  136. now become a follower, following hard and working towards becoming

  137. a disciple.

  138. Amen.

  139. The convert gladly receives the word when they hear it,

  140. but it's the teaching and training and doctrine that helps

  141. them to transition. You must move just like the stages

  142. of a child. It's born. It's a baby. It cannot

  143. do anything for itself. It depends on the parents. They

  144. must feed it. It's a babe in Christ. When you

  145. first give your life to Christ, you're a babe in Christ.

  146. You must be fed. The baby graduates from just drinking

  147. milk to now eating solid food, and when it has teeth,

  148. it will now eat meat. The stages of life, it'll crawl,

  149. then they'll walk, then it'll run. Goes from being carried everywhere.

  150. Then it starts crawling. Then it stands up and starts walking,

  151. and when it really realizes, oh, I can get away,

  152. starts running. That's what has happened to you in your

  153. Christian You cannot remain a babe. You cannot remain a

  154. convert your whole life in Christ. You must graduate and

  155. now take on the responsibility of replicating yourself.

  156. Amen.

  157. So the main reason why the church is not growing

  158. then is because we are not following the pattern that

  159. God has given us. Because in the early the New

  160. Testament church, the Holy Spirit gave a certain pattern by

  161. which the church must grow. Turn to the neighbors, saying,

  162. it's God's church. So if it's his church, then who

  163. better to give you the rules the instructions on how

  164. to grow it.

  165. You cannot of yourself grow the church.

  166. It is not within your power, no matter how much

  167. words you know, no matter how much you know, time

  168. you put in, if the Holy Spirit doesn't give you

  169. the power. That is why we see from the Upper

  170. Room experience. One hundred and twenty of them went in there,

  171. the Holy Spirit came upon them, that received power, and

  172. then they were able to go out and the scriptures

  173. we shared last week.

  174. In one day, three thousand were added.

  175. Why they had received the power, They had received that

  176. doctrine their teaching, and they were able to go out there, minister,

  177. and in one day, three thousand were added to their numbers,

  178. from one hundred and twenty to three thousand. It wasn't

  179. just a linear growth. And those of you who do

  180. maths linear growth in algebra, it's not a one to

  181. one relationship. You brought one, they brought one, They brought one.

  182. It was exponential growth. He spoke to five, won them.

  183. She spoke to seven, He spoke to ten, he spoke

  184. to fifteen. And when they all came together, they realized

  185. the church was growing by.

  186. Leaps and bounds.

  187. After the three thousand, the next time they met, five

  188. thousand came to. Then a multitude came. So there was

  189. continued growth, succession, successive growth, advancement, which is what God

  190. wanted for his church. So it also tells us that

  191. disciples multiplied. But in order for disciples to multiply, that

  192. means someone was teaching them, someone was training them, someone

  193. was giving them doctrine. That is why they were able

  194. to go out with that power, with that understanding to

  195. be able to reach others to win them over. So

  196. that's the assignment. But the blueprint came from the Holy Spirit.

  197. The patron for doing that came from the Holy Spirit.

  198. So it is now incumbent upon us to submit and

  199. to subject ourselves to that teaching, the training and the doctrine.

  200. And I'll take it even a step further.

  201. And this is not just for the pastors and the

  202. leaders and the sh each and everyone. The only way

  203. you're going to get revelation, insights, understanding illumination.

  204. Is by one.

  205. Your prayer life, your relationship with God. You talk to God,

  206. you commune with God, and God talks to us in

  207. different ways in his word, in dreams. But as you

  208. commune with God and you develop your relationship with God,

  209. he communicates with you.

  210. So your prayer life as a disciple is very important.

  211. But just like the disciples of the Early Church, they

  212. didn't just pray. What made Paul and Barnabas so unique

  213. so that the people called them Christians was the way

  214. they prayed. They offered supplication made into session. So if

  215. we are following a pattern, then it's not just enough

  216. to receive the training and the teaching and the doctrine.

  217. But you yourself.

  218. Must seek your personal development because when you give your

  219. life to Christ and you become a convert, the old

  220. man still exists. But the more you develop your relationship

  221. with Christ, your walk with Christ, the old man, the

  222. old attributes, the old values, the old characteristics start to

  223. fall off and you take on a new image. You

  224. take on a new mind, the mind of Christ, and

  225. people start seeing the change.

  226. Look at your isn't that who used to? Isn't that

  227. I'm who?

  228. You know? Would require me to do semur Man's But

  229. the change becomes evident. You don't just look like you

  230. walk like her. You start resembling Christ spiritually. You see,

  231. it is the development of that which is important. The

  232. outside looks nice, but if the inside. My grandmother used

  233. to say something I eased to think you used to

  234. think she was just joking. I say, oh, do I

  235. know who you're blue? And wom you are green? You

  236. look a different way on the outside, but what is

  237. really on the inside is what matters. Because when you

  238. meet people, you can show them personality, but when they

  239. get to know you enough, they see your character. That's

  240. the difference. Personality is what you show everybody, Oh, Praise Lord.

  241. Hallelujah, Glory. Put down.

  242. What's in there. Out of the abundance of the heart.

  243. The mouth speaks. Sooner or later what you are really like,

  244. the character that you have in there is going to

  245. come out. So the training, the teaching, the doctrine, the

  246. relationship that you develop with Christ helps you in your

  247. walk towards becoming an effective disciple, but also helps you

  248. to drop the old ways. If you don't drop the

  249. old ways, then you are just a convert. You're still

  250. a bathing Christ. If you don't drop the old ways,

  251. then you don't have that evidence, that testimony, that witness

  252. by your very lifestyle. People look at you and say, ah,

  253. and here's the one who said he's a Christian. Look

  254. at what, Charlie. I don't even bother with this Christianity.

  255. You are in church of Hallelujah. I don't turn out

  256. no scrapping out there. I don't like nonsense. So we

  257. are really Christian follow out of Christ. What are you exhibiting?

  258. It is the fruits?

  259. Fruits?

  260. What fruits are you being when you've taken root, when

  261. you've received the doctrine, the teaching, the training, you're taking root,

  262. becoming established, established in what what fruit? We've also talked

  263. about the fruits of the spirit, because as you are

  264. in Him and you're receiving this training, you start you

  265. must demonstrate the fruits of the spirit, some of which

  266. I love for one another and for souls. A real disciple,

  267. a true disciple, you have the burden a concern that

  268. the one sitting next to you may not be saved,

  269. may not have converted, may not be receiving training, and

  270. that they're on their way to hell. So it's not

  271. just love general love, but it's love for one another,

  272. how you treat each other and love for souls. You

  273. want your neighbor to also come in and experience as

  274. Christ that you're emulating, that you're displaying these characters new

  275. values that everybody say, wow, he has really changed. You

  276. want that same thing for your neighbor.

  277. So that burden is there.

  278. So some of the fruits that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,

  279. and the one that really strikes me self control. Because

  280. in your change, as you're going through the metamorphosis, the

  281. one thing that's hard for human beings to do is change.

  282. That's why people that me answer me, I'm like that

  283. to a me and me. It's alimity. They don't want

  284. to change, and.

  285. They make excuses self control.

  286. It is a fruit the spirit that you must exhibit

  287. when you are a disciple, when you are a true disciple.

  288. But we're talking about patterns. All of this going into

  289. you being a pattern for someone to follow. Your lifestyle

  290. must be a pattern for somebody to follow. But as

  291. far as it concerns the method of growing the church,

  292. while you are seeking your personal development in developing these

  293. characteristics and values, the church must evidently grow because we

  294. don't just come in here and meet on Sundays and

  295. then close our books or notebooks or bibles, or turn

  296. off our ee bibles and shut it till next week

  297. and then come and receive the word, because then you're

  298. relying on just what the pastor will say. The pastor

  299. is human. He can get something wrong if he's not

  300. very well ground. Remember a couple of weeks ago, I

  301. made a certain statement that was not It wasn't false,

  302. but it wasn't all that we can complete with regard

  303. to what I was teaching. And Bishop corrected me. Yes,

  304. you must be open to correction. That's how you grow

  305. if you say media asylamity means a san I'm not

  306. going to change. That means you don't want to grow,

  307. and that means you want to remain a babe in Christ,

  308. a convert, not a follow and not a disciple, because

  309. the followers walk leads them to discipleship. If they are

  310. submitting themselves to training, teaching, doctrine, praying, making intercession, it

  311. leads you to becoming an effective disciple. But the church

  312. is going to grow after the pattern which the Holy

  313. Spirit gave.

  314. And what pattern is that?

  315. It is the same parton that God gave one man

  316. of God called doctor David Yngicho. He's a man of

  317. God that God used to show us a living example

  318. in our day, not in the old you know church,

  319. in the modern you know Testament, modern New Testament church

  320. that was back then we didn't exist. But even this day,

  321. by adopting the cell structure, the cell pattern of growing

  322. the church, he was able to grow his single church

  323. into eight hundred thousand people, the largest single church on earth.

  324. And it was based on him following the pattern that

  325. was given by the Holy Spirit to the modern early

  326. New Testament church. If God has given the pattern, what

  327. else are we looking for why we try to find

  328. other ways. It is his church and he knows how best.

  329. So his Holy Spirit gave the pattern, and doctor David

  330. Jungicho realized that the reason why the church now is

  331. not growing because we have a sanctuary full of converts.

  332. They have heard the good news, they have received it gladly.

  333. They have come forward and given their life to Christ.

  334. But then they go back and sid in the pews

  335. and they do absolutely nothing. So they are not grounded.

  336. They don't know their assignment. They're not subjecting themselves to

  337. being taught, trained and receiving doctrine, so they're not equipped

  338. to go out there and replicate themselves and bring others in.

  339. So as long as others are not coming in, the

  340. church is not growing. Pattern there must.

  341. Be followed the way it was given.

  342. In the old days, they didn't have huge meeting places

  343. like this, even their temples. We're not like the spaces

  344. we have these days. People meet a stadia, they meet

  345. a black cell square, I mean wide, huge open spaces

  346. where multitudes come. But in older days they didn't have

  347. that and they were being persecuted in their time. So

  348. whenever they had a chance to meet in a public place.

  349. They did, but for the sake of being persecuted, being killed,

  350. being mattered. We don't see that so much these days

  351. that I'm hearing some things in Nigeria. Bukoharama is killing

  352. in one day eighty nine. Christians, you have to understand

  353. that you are at war just by choosing to be

  354. on the side of Jesus Christ. That's why I tell

  355. you there's no middle ground. If you choose to be

  356. with Christ, you're gathering. If you don't, you're scattering. You're

  357. not in the middle saying me, I'm neutral alone. There's

  358. no such thing as a neutral Christian. Because your assignment

  359. is to grow the church, to go out there and

  360. make disciples. That is the great commission. The only way

  361. you're gonna do that is to submit yourself to it.

  362. The training, the teaching, the doctrine. You have to pray, intercede,

  363. offer supplication, fasting. Some of us want to say fast thing, Jesus.

  364. You can't even go from eight to twelve with help.

  365. Put someone in your mouth as soon as they say

  366. fast thing. The little creatus in your bodies that eat something,

  367. eat something, drink something, have some cook have some sugar,

  368. have some your mouth busy the whole time, but you

  369. know when you deny yourself. Part of this walk is

  370. the commitment to receiving the training, but it's also commitment

  371. to sacrifice. It serves two purposes that you open up

  372. and received from God as to what to do. The

  373. empowerment you need to grow, but it also helps you

  374. to have self control in your own personal growth, in

  375. your own relationship with God. Nobody else can do that

  376. for you. Each and everyone must work out their salvation

  377. with fear and trembling. I can't do it for you.

  378. Pastor can't do it for you. Your mother can't do it

  379. for you. Your father can't do it for you. Every

  380. one of us must work out their own salvation, must

  381. follow their own pattern. The discipleship must be effective to

  382. win souls. I believe it's in Revelation that talks about

  383. your crown. When you get to heaven, if you've won souls,

  384. there will be stars in your crown for every soul

  385. that you've ministered it to. I don't know about you.

  386. I don't just want to go band because I just

  387. made it in and then there's nothing else. I want

  388. a crown that has stars representing the soul that I've

  389. led to Christ because I was an effective disciple. So

  390. the self structure that we have here at Next Gen

  391. is called next sells. As we are following that pattern

  392. to grow this church. It is incumbent upon each and

  393. every one of us. We all have the assignment. It's

  394. just not me and Pastor Jeremiah, or Bishop or any

  395. of the other pastors or the leaders of the shepherds.

  396. You also the church. You are the one that God

  397. is looking to use to go out there and win souls.

  398. If you're sitting down expecting someone to go and minister

  399. to them and bring.

  400. Them, then what is the point of view? Johnny.

  401. You can't just join the army and going to sleep

  402. in the barracks and so me, I've joined you, that's

  403. all I've not.

  404. Didn't come here to fight. When there's war, you must go.

  405. But while there's not war, you receive the training so

  406. that in the event it comes up, you are armed.

  407. You know what to do with your gun, and tell

  408. you cap your gun. You know what it means when

  409. the no bullets in your magazine, you know how to

  410. take it apart and put another one in so you

  411. can take down the enemy. You must know how to

  412. maneuver and take their evasive moves so that enemy doesn't

  413. get you. But it's all towards the pattern that he

  414. is given for growing the church. I want us to

  415. also understand as I was saying that, as I was

  416. saying that we must receive the word, we must receive

  417. the training and go out there and be effective that

  418. in the end, each and everyone on that day of

  419. accountability is going to be you. And God, I gave

  420. you the gift of life. I planted you in this church,

  421. doctrine was given, teaching and training.

  422. You personally.

  423. Having told everybody that you're a Christian, not just by name.

  424. It's not just nomenclature. It's not just something that you

  425. check on a you know, on a phone. What is

  426. your faith? A Christian? Somebody who checked Muslim someone to

  427. check Budhi someone. It's just nomenclature. What makes you a Christian?

  428. What is it that proves you're a Christian? A Christian?

  429. Meaning of it says you're a follow of Christ? What

  430. about you says you're a follow of Christ?

  431. What fruits? What are you bearing?

  432. If you're just checking the paper and still holding to

  433. your old man, you're just a Christian by name, it

  434. doesn't carry any weight. But if you're a Christian, a

  435. true Christian, then you have evolved or you are evolving

  436. to becoming a disciple. And if you're a disciple, that

  437. means you are submitting yourself to receiving the training, the teaching,

  438. the doctrine so you can go out there and win

  439. others so the church will grow. But if your aim,

  440. with the understanding of the commission, is to go out

  441. to all the world and make disciples, if you understand that,

  442. then you know that the way that's going to happen

  443. is by following the pattern.

  444. Of cell growth, the cell system.

  445. It is the only way, the most effective way that

  446. we're going to grow this church. That is why we

  447. are spending time training you, teaching you for you to

  448. understand that. Don't just come every week and sit in

  449. the pews. When you go home, your neighbors, your friends,

  450. if you're working, your communities that you're in, if you're

  451. part of some fraternity, if you're on campus, everybody you

  452. come into contact with, like Joe Charlie, are you saved?

  453. Oh Miami. I don't do that christ to yourself.

  454. It's like buying insurance if Christ comes right now and

  455. he's taking his own, are you.

  456. Sure you're going back with him?

  457. Or even if you're not sure, what if you die

  458. and you get there and there is a heaven and

  459. a hell and you never accepted Jesus Christ, where do

  460. you think you're going? Did you receive it when it

  461. was given? Did you receive it when you heard his word?

  462. Did you apply yourself? Did you go out there and

  463. fulfill the commission? It's not enough to just, you know,

  464. receive your salvation and sit down. He said, once you

  465. received it, go and bring others. So when he asked, okay,

  466. accepted Jesus Christ.

  467. Wonderful. So when you accepted him, what did you do? God?

  468. Me?

  469. I accepted the moon and I was in the church.

  470. Okay, you were in the church and did what when

  471. you when you had the chance to talk to Amma?

  472. I'm mean the way she is like me. I didn't

  473. she shout on you in published would embarrass you when

  474. you tried to talk to about it?

  475. To me, I didn't first my family there's some way,

  476. so me, I just you know, I just don't want trouble.

  477. I don't want anyone halla So I'm safe. So I'm

  478. just you know, I'm just waiting. I was just waiting

  479. for you to come. Oh, so you didn't understand the assignment.

  480. I didn't just save you to go sit down. I

  481. said save, receive the training, go out there and bring others.

  482. So who did you bring? And mm hmm, good, give

  483. me one chance? Let me let me go back there.

  484. Man size is my friend. Let me see. Can you

  485. let me go back? No, there's no turning back. There's

  486. no going back. So while you yet have it, you

  487. must apply yourself. I want to look at one last

  488. scripture and then we can move on. Acts Chapter two,

  489. verse forty six. Acts Chapter two, verse forty six. At

  490. chapter two, verse forty six, the early Church had in battle.

  491. They were being persecuted, murdered, mattered just because of what

  492. they believed. And they continuing daily with one accord. Don't

  493. you anybody say one accord? That means we all have

  494. the same mind, we all have the same vision, we

  495. all have the same understanding. We're all receiving the same

  496. training so that we can all go out there as

  497. an army to win souls on one accord. See, God

  498. cannot bless confusion. He's not the art of confusion. When

  499. we are all on one accord, his spirit will come

  500. and do what it needs to do. He must have unity,

  501. We must move in unison. We must all have the

  502. same vision, the same understanding, on one accord in the

  503. temple and breaking bread from house to house, So it's

  504. not just about coming here every Sunday, from house to house.

  505. Did they eat their meals? Listen? Sometimes in our culture

  506. food brings us together.

  507. Oh tell you, let's have a little Let's go and

  508. have a little something for full year, or if you

  509. like sweet things, he's going to sit down at the

  510. coffee shop and have some cookies. And it's an opportunity

  511. you break bread like Christ did with us with his disciples,

  512. break bread, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness

  513. of heart. It's a pattern. He's showing you how. And

  514. here that's what we're going to do in what we

  515. call the Next Cells. The cell system has many names,

  516. but here at Next Gen Church, we call it Next Cells.

  517. So we're all going to belong to We're gonna receive

  518. the training, we're gonna go out there and we're gonna

  519. win soles. One last scripture I wanted to give because

  520. ecclese us is ten ten eclese to us is ten.

  521. The purpose of wisdom when you receive the wisdom, what

  522. is the purpose. If the iron be blunt and he

  523. do not wet the edge, then must he put to

  524. more strength? But wisdom is profitable to direct. If you

  525. have a cut less and you want to cut the

  526. tree down, you don't shopen it. You'd be striking. The

  527. whole day is sweating and you won't cut anything. But

  528. if you cut that wisdom the listener, I need to

  529. cut this thing. I need a sharp edge, and you

  530. wet it and you sharpen it. That is what wisdom

  531. will give you. When you have received wisdom, you don't sweat.

  532. You don't sweat needlessly. When we have received wisdom in

  533. the word the pattern, when have joined the next cells,

  534. when you are growing in your discipleship training with the understanding,

  535. you're receiving the wisdom as to how to.

  536. Accomplish the commission.

  537. But wisdom ten ten say wisdom, wisdom, say, receive wisdom.

  538. It's profitable to direct. Today. I hope you have received wisdom.

  539. About what the cell is and what we call it

  540. here at next else, and what this whole discipleship training

  541. is about why we must do it, because we are

  542. commissioned to how we must do it. That's what we

  543. do to grow the church. But it begins with you

  544. being a convert. For those of you who are here

  545. who have not accepted Jesus christis your Lord and savior.

  546. You cannot.

  547. Out there and be effective when you don't know, when

  548. you have not been trained, taught, or receive the doctrine.

  549. You must subject yourself, submit yourself so we can train you,

  550. teach you. And the way we're going to do that

  551. is in our next cells. And then when you are empowered,

  552. you go out there to minister, to witness, to win

  553. so so that the church will grow. That's your assignment

  554. do to come and help the Kingdom of God grow.

  555. Everybody is not going to get the same results. He

  556. might be gifted and he can talk to twenty and

  557. they'll receive. You might be gifted, you can get you five.

  558. But God is not looking at say oh, you didn't

  559. do it. No, but you subjected yourself, submitted yourself. So

  560. today I'm giving you the opportunity come see the empowerment

  561. so you can go out there and be effective in

  562. this discipleship walk.

  563. That's your purpose.

  564. The day that you cease to fulfill the purpose that

  565. God asks for you, trust me, that is the day

  566. you go to sleep. When the Bible says and He

  567. went to sleep, it means you cease to exist in

  568. the land of the living.

  569. You die. If He is letting you live, that means

  570. that He has purpose for you. But what is the purpose?

  571. Seeking out purpose? This is the purpose.

  572. Yes, life is going on. You meet people, you go

  573. to school, you have relationships. All of that is part

  574. of the journey. But the purpose for being here, this

  575. is why He led you to this church, which is

  576. why you're coming here every Sunday, which is why you

  577. say you're a Christian and this is your home.

  578. Church planted you here so you can receive the word, receive.

  579. The training, the teaching, the doctrine, be taught out to pray, intercede.

  580. Or for supplication.

  581. Control yourself, learn to master yourself in your walk, so

  582. that the old man, the things that you used to do,

  583. you take on the mind of Christ, so you become

  584. more like Christ. So your very existence is an example.

  585. Some people will never read the Bible, They'll just look

  586. at you. You claim you're a Christian, and they'll be

  587. learn let me remain a sinner because you are worse

  588. than me. But when they look at you and they're like,

  589. there's something different by this guy.

  590. I mean even the way he treats people.

  591. The fruits of the spirit, love for one another and

  592. for souls, the burden. Listen, I'm saved though. I always

  593. tell you, for those of you who drive, you don't

  594. know the value of insurance until the day you have

  595. an accident. When you're paying the premium, it's like nothing

  596. has happened. Why am I giving these people my money.

  597. It's like pulling your nose.

  598. HEAs hey, yeah, oh.

  599. But let you that day come where you have an

  600. accident and then they give you an assessment of the

  601. damage and if you don't have insurance you have.

  602. To pay out of your pocket.

  603. Then you'll understand the value of insurance because when you

  604. have insurance, you have bump or fully covered when the

  605. car crashes. Much as you are, you know, regretful that

  606. your car has crashed, you don't have to carry that

  607. extra burden of pain for it.

  608. You don't have to lose something.

  609. You just call the insurance that you have been paying

  610. for and you'll come take the car, fix it or

  611. replace it, give you a new one. That's what it's

  612. like giving your life to Christ. You're taking insurance because

  613. you do not know, but by faith. Faith comes by

  614. hearing and hearing the word of God. But as a Christian,

  615. we don't walk by faith by by sight.

  616. We walk by faith.

  617. Second Corinthians vibe and servants right in, for we walk

  618. by faith, not by sight. Because you have believed, you're

  619. taking that insurance that when I die and I get

  620. before the Maker on that day of accountability, Christ says, ah,

  621. this one is mine.

  622. He believed in me. But not just that.

  623. He fulfilled the commission. He subjected himself to training, teaching doctrine.

  624. He has completed his assignment, enter into arrest a good

  625. and faithful servant.

  626. I don't know about you. That's what I want to

  627. hear God say to me about me.

  628. I don't want to say, oh, okay, well accept that crier, okay,

  629. come in. But any souls, he didn't do anything for

  630. me as much as I did for you. I said

  631. my only begotten son to die for you, which is

  632. why you're here. You couldn't even think or love another

  633. soul enough imagine the disappointment, the heartbreak. But that's what

  634. I'm off for you today. Come give your life to Christ.

  635. Give your life to Christ. Anybody here. Time is fast spent.

  636. If you haven't accepted him. No man knows when he's coming.

  637. He could come now as I'm talking. If you haven't

  638. received him, it's too late. But our times are different.

  639. Someone may live to one hundred and forty. I just

  640. went to my friend's grandmother's funeral one hundred and six.

  641. God blessed her.

  642. She saw grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. It was

  643. beautiful while they were in Sorry that she had left,

  644. but it was beautiful to see all of them lined

  645. up saying, this is the matriarch. Somebody will live to

  646. one o six. Somebody will live to fifty. These days,

  647. people are dying at twenty five and twenty six. People

  648. are dying in teenage years. You don't know when he's

  649. gonna call you home. But when he calls you home,

  650. can you say you belong to Christ? If you can't,

  651. then here's your chance. Enter convert and will train him

  652. so that you can be equipped.

  653. And then you can fulfill the commission.

  654. Then you can effectively follow the pattern being part of

  655. the next hell to win others. That's our assignment. In short,

  656. Come if you haven't given your life to Christ. If

  657. you want to read, dedicate, because you know the walk

  658. is not easy. There are times when the old man

  659. creeps up. That's why you must pray without ceasing. That's

  660. why you must daily renew your mind. That's what the

  661. scripture says, renew your mind me, how do you do

  662. that in the world.

  663. Stay in the world. He'll give you revelation for your

  664. daily walk.

  665. You'll give you the strength to resist the old man,

  666. because when the demons are left, after a while, they

  667. come back. That's what the scripture says.

  668. To see.

  669. If you haven't filled it, why do you fill it

  670. with the Holy Spirit, the teachings, the doctrine. If it's vacant,

  671. you come and whisper. Do you remember I used to

  672. do with that you are She's still Availablelo, do you

  673. remember what you used to do with your boys? It's

  674. still there because you haven't filled it and you draw

  675. you back. So if you're here and you need to

  676. rededicate yourself, come too. There's nothing shameful about it. If

  677. you're shamed before men, if you're ashamed of him. Before man,

  678. when you get to hit the presence of his father,

  679. he'll also be ashamed of you. That's what the scripture says.

  680. So come, So the time is up. Come, everybody here

  681. is saved. Don't worry about the time, because you can

  682. step out and God. You can hear the trump as

  683. the angel ruling about disguise, and you'd be like, I

  684. should have too late. This is the day, the moment,

  685. this is the now we're talking about now, in the

  686. moment that you're alive, the day that you hear my voice,

  687. do not herden your heart. Now is the time, anyone, anyone,

  688. come and give your life to Christ.

  689. Come and rededicate your life.

  690. Upgrade yourself, your software and your computer after a while

  691. becomes old, redundant.

  692. But you would want.

  693. To stay on top of you want to stay current,

  694. rededicate yourself. Say God, I know I've missed the mark.

  695. Sometimes I don't always win this battle. God does not

  696. saying be perfect, because no man is perfect except Christ.

  697. But if you trust him, he will take you from

  698. glory to glory. He will perfect you, He will establish

  699. your ways. He is the one that will give you

  700. the power to press towards the perfection that he expects.

  701. He doesn't expect you to get saved. You're perfect. He

  702. knows that stuff that's in there. It takes a while

  703. to peel off. Today he will take away anger. Tomorrow

  704. you take away from concern. Tomorrow you take away something else,

  705. And eventually the new Man evolves anybody, anybody. He will

  706. ask you. You heard reverend for his voice, and you

  707. sat and say, look, I'm in a hurry to go home.

  708. I have plans, So y'all do this next week. You

  709. don't know if next week is yours.

  710. Will Church?

  711. Give God some praise in here? Oh, come on, give

  712. him praise. You're still you have received the word. Even

  713. if you're already saved, you have received this word. You

  714. have received this pattern. You can do better. You're not

  715. doing it for me. Uh huh, you're not doing Do

  716. you understand why you do why you do?

  717. Do you understand why you clap? Are you clapping because

  718. we just told you the clap? Are you clapping because.

  719. You are grateful that you've heard from his spirit that

  720. you are encouraged today, that you are empowered today? Know

  721. and understand why you do what you do? As a Christian,

  722. be firm in your mind, in your understanding. See, the

  723. battle is here. The enemy always suggests to you. That's why,

  724. as says, renew your mind daily, shut out all the

  725. voices and hear his still small voice.

  726. Amen.
