  1. Welcome to Merriweather Global Ministries. I am doctor Tanya Meriwether

  2. Gibson Miller, and I am so elated to be sharing

  3. with you on today. This is the day that the

  4. Lord has made, and we are rejoicing and glad in it.

  5. I invite you on today to come on magnify the

  6. Lord with me, for he is a great God and

  7. he is so deserving of our praise.

  8. Here's the thing that I love on today. You better

  9. get excited in here.

  10. Every time I turn around, God continues to do things

  11. that blow my mind. Why because He is an amazing

  12. God that continues to do amazing things just for you

  13. and for me. On today, we're coming from Habacca. The

  14. third chapter, the seventeenth through the eighteenth verse from the

  15. ENNI me and it reads, though the fifth tree is

  16. not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines,

  17. though the olive crop fails, and the fields produce no food,

  18. though there are no sheep in the pen and no

  19. cattle in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.

  20. I will be joyful in God, my Savior, on today.

  21. Just briefly praise him any way, let us pray, Dear God,

  22. we thank you for this time of coming.

  23. Together to share your words.

  24. Right now, Lord, allow the words of my mouth and

  25. the meditation of my heart to be acceptable in thy sight.

  26. Oh Lord, you are my strength and you are my redeemer. Listen.

  27. We all face moments in.

  28. Life when circumstances don't line up with our expectations. Our

  29. plans may fail, people may disappoint us, and life can

  30. sometimes seems like a never ending storm. Yet as a believer,

  31. we are called to do something radical in the face.

  32. Of trials, which is to praise God anyway.

  33. The prophet Habecca gives us a powerful example of how

  34. to worship the Lord despite our situations. In today's message,

  35. will explore why we should choose to praise Him even

  36. when life is not perfect, and how doing so you

  37. better hear me today strengthens our faith and gives glory

  38. to God.

  39. So first praise him anyway?

  40. Why because our praise is not conditional Rebecca. The third chapter,

  41. in the eighteenth verse, it says, yet I will rejoice

  42. in the Lord. I will be joyful in God, my Savior.

  43. While Habecca's declaration to rejoice in the Lord even when

  44. the fig tree doesn't blossom or to feel yield no food.

  45. Is a testament of unconditional praise. He is a praising

  46. God because his life is going well. He's praising God

  47. because God is good, regardless of his situation. Our praise

  48. I want you know understand today it's not based on

  49. what we have or don't have, but on who God is.

  50. Or you gotta understand that on today, God's character doesn't

  51. change with our circumstances. He is still worthy of worship,

  52. still worthy for us to be faithful, and He is

  53. still holy. When we wake up or we make our

  54. praise conditional, we rob ourselves of the joy that comes

  55. from worshiping God in spite of Oh, think about that,

  56. in spite of I'm gonna praise him anyway.

  57. So instead, make.

  58. A decision today to praison anyway, whether it's a good

  59. day or a difficult one. Let your worship be a

  60. reflection of your relationship with God, not your circumstances. Because

  61. this kind of praise, Yeah, it confuses the enemy and

  62. it uplifts your spirit. I want you to think about

  63. Paul and Simons in the prison. They had every reason

  64. to complain, but instead.

  65. They saying him to God in the middle of the night.

  66. Their change didn't determine their brains. Their change didn't determine

  67. how was faith in what they were willing to do

  68. to worship God. And God responded to their unconditional worship

  69. by shaking the foundation of that prison. You gotta come

  70. on in here now and setting them free. Then praising

  71. him anyway is because praise is our weapon.

  72. You have to understand that. Second Carithians ten.

  73. And four, it says for the weapons of our warfare

  74. are not colonel, but mighty through.

  75. God to pulling down the strongholds.

  76. That means that praise is more than just a verbal expression.

  77. It is a powerful spiritual weapon.

  78. When we choose to praise God in difficult situations, we.

  79. Are not denying our problems.

  80. We are choosing to exalt God above them all.

  81. Praise shifts our focus from.

  82. The problem to the problem solver, from the storm to

  83. the one who walks on the water. Or When we

  84. learn our to lift our hands and to raise our

  85. voices and praise God, we are declaring that the victory

  86. is already hours in Christ Jesus. You have to learn, believer,

  87. to use praise as your first response to every challenge.

  88. When you receive bad news, look your voice and say, Lord,

  89. I praise you. When things don't go as plans, say God,

  90. I trust you.

  91. This response may feel, I know, at first.

  92. Unnatural, But as you consistently use praise as your weapon,

  93. you will begin to experience a shift in your spirits

  94. and the atmosphere around you. Oh, somebody better hear me

  95. on today. In second Chronicles twenty, King Jr. Host of Fact,

  96. faced a vast army that threatened to destroy Judah.

  97. What did he do?

  98. Oh? He appointed singors to go out ahead of the army, declaring,

  99. give thanks to the Lord for his love, and doures

  100. you better come home forever. Their praise confused the enemy,

  101. and the armies that came against them were defeated without

  102. a single sword lifted. Oh and then I praise him

  103. when I praise him anyway?

  104. Why?

  105. Because praise activates our faith? He rules the eleventh chapter.

  106. In the first verse, it says, now faith is confidence

  107. and what we hope for and as sure as about

  108. what we do not see. Oh, man and woman of God,

  109. you have to choose to praise God, yes, in difficult times,

  110. because it's an act.

  111. Of your faith. It says, I may not see the solution.

  112. Yet, but I trust that God is already at work.

  113. Praise in the midst of trials declares that God is

  114. greater than what I see right now. It expresses hope

  115. and expectation that God is not finished and that.

  116. He is able to turn things around.

  117. Yeah, this kind of faith pleases God and brings his presence.

  118. You better hear me in two hour situation.

  119. So I want you to start praising God for what

  120. He's going to do, even before you see the breakthrough.

  121. If you're in a financial struggle, praise them as Jehovah Jirah,

  122. your provider. If you're facing a health battle, praise him

  123. as Jehovah Alphah. That God has healed. He's a God

  124. who heals. Praise God in advanced demonstration. You wilieve his

  125. word more than your current reality.

  126. Remember the walls of Jericho.

  127. Before the walls ever fell, the Israelites marched around them,

  128. blowing trumpets and shouting praises.

  129. They didn't wait until the walls crumbled to worship.

  130. They worship get faith that God would fulfill his promise.

  131. And because of their faith full and praise, the walls came.

  132. Oh yeah, crushing down then why should I praise him anyway?

  133. Well, I'm so glad you asked, because praise gives us.

  134. Peace Philippians four and six and says, do not be

  135. anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,

  136. with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Yeah, praise calms

  137. our anxious hearts. When we are overwhelmed by trials. When

  138. we are overwhelmed, our praise read God.

  139. Rais our attention to God's sovereignty. It's hard to worry

  140. and worship at the same time. Oh, somebody out of

  141. hear me.

  142. Now, praise reminds us that God is in control, and

  143. as we worship him, his peace that surpasses all understanding,

  144. guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

  145. So the next time that anxiety tries to.

  146. Take over, you have began to praise God for who

  147. is Say Lord, you are my rock and my refuge.

  148. You are my fortress and my deliverer. You are the

  149. effort and the omega. As you declare who God is,

  150. your heart will shift from fear to faith, and God's

  151. peace will begin to flood your spirit or Consin Daniel

  152. in the lines den he faced the literal threat to

  153. his life. Yet the Bible records that Daniel prayed and

  154. gave thanks to God just as he always had.

  155. His praise and the face of danger.

  156. Not only sustained him, but it also changed the King's

  157. heart right and broke God's deliverance. Oh as I close,

  158. why I will praise him anyway?

  159. Why love it.

  160. Life will bring its share of difficulties. Life will bring

  161. its disappointments, Life will bring its uncertainties.

  162. But in those.

  163. Moments we have a choice to focus on what's going

  164. wrong or to worship the one who is always right.

  165. Or when we choose to praise God anyway, we are

  166. declaring that He is bigger than our circumstance, that He

  167. is bigger than anything.

  168. That I can encounter in my life, that our faith

  169. is in him alone, and that we.

  170. Trust Him to work all things together for our good.

  171. So today I encourage you.

  172. No matter what you're facing, lift up your voice.

  173. And say, Lord will praise you anyway.

  174. I may not see the fruit on the trees, I

  175. may not feel the victory in my hands, but I

  176. won't worship you because you are worthy.

  177. I will bringse you because I know that you are

  178. still God.

  179. Oh, if you are listening today and you not know

  180. the Lord in the pardon of your sins, I invite you,

  181. as John three sixteen says, for God soul loved the

  182. world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever

  183. believes in him should not perish, but would have eternal life.

  184. I offer you Jesus on today. All you have to

  185. do is ask him to come into your life.

  186. Believe that he is our savior, that he came, live, died,

  187. rose again from the dead. He's sitting at the right

  188. hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf. Confess your sins,

  189. ask God to forgive you, to save you, and he

  190. will let us pray to God. We pray for those

  191. Lord that will trust you on today, for those that

  192. may reconcile to you.

  193. On today. We know that you are our savior.

  194. Yes, Lord, and we thank you for coming and giving
