[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to In the Water Podcast with me and today we have Michael.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Michael is one of my main baptizers in our meet me in the water ministry and we are so blessed by him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was one of the first people to answer the call to help me out and some of you may have heard his other podcast that he did about his testimony.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Michael has been through a lot of help things just like I had and he was forged in the fire and now he's out here baptizing nations with me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Michael and I, and all along with all of our families, we had chads as family of five, we had Deb and Elwood, we had my family of four and you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we had twelve people total and we took a trip all the way across the country from Kentucky to Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we want to talk today about all of our journey along the way.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything that we encountered because it was a lot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then of course we'll wrap it up with talking about Washington and how that went.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're ready, Michael?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So first of all, you know, Michael has come to stay with us for a little while.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've always called him my Timothy because he pretty much is, you know, as soon as I met him, the Lord had told me like, I was holding his hands and I was praying in the water and the Lord told me he was a soldier, but he's like he's a soldier for me, like the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like I'm holding his hands and like I was at your supposed to be the soldier for the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And little that I know, Michael was seriously about to enlist in the army or not the army to the uh...
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Coast Guard.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so he was about to go into the military, but the Lord had called him into his service, and that is where Michael serves.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's also been helping walled out with some editing, and just really been a great addition to the family, but I wanted him to tell you a little bit about our trip first, and then we'll go through all the baptisms we did on the way, and how that all came about.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So long to get us started.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Where do we go first?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, Wisconsin Dale.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's pretty cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We were definitely wanting to hear a loon and we did not, so that was what?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't watch anything though, a lot of them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We did.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We got to see a lot too, because Walt was hyphening up the whole time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was, he let us listen to what a loon sounds like, and you know, we live in Kentucky, so I don't know if we have loons here, I don't think we do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But either way, we were looking for a loom.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But all right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So with constant deals, the time we got there, we hadn't really decided like, it had been put on my heart for a long time to do pop-ups.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about pop-ups for how long.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like at least two months in advance.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: At least.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was really like, I really wanted to make it happen to where on our way, we were able to reach the people in the small areas.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just couldn't figure out how to do it because I'm like if we're stopping somewhere like we do have a schedule to keep like we have to get to Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's where the big revival is and thousands of people will be waiting on us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I couldn't figure it out logistically of how to take this trip and do pop-ups.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I get just it wasn't happening in my human brain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So first we go to Wisconsin Dales.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we got to play in swimming pools and really it was best macaroni ever.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You did have the jalapeno popper mac and cheese all man how light of Wisconsin it really was was the macaroni for these boys They all got a different bowl and they they love their macaroni because obviously cheese cheese is a Wisconsin thing so y'all had y'all's cheese and you know what I did have cheese too though.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like I didn't have cheese, but I did I had cheese curds
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Remember those cheese cards?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, those were so good too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They were so good.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Wisconsin is right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They have the best cheese.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: They definitely do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we left Wisconsin and we were driving through Minnesota.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't stop.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We stopped just to take a picture with a prairie chicken.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: A prairie chicken.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We could
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was just for our map for our photo map and the prairie chicken was really really weird But it was it was a cool picture.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a cool picture So he stopped took a picture in Minnesota, um, kept on trucking through and went to North Dakota where we stayed tonight And so I had like planned the trip and I had planned to stop in Madora Which was like this really cute western town and I was like man we gonna love this place just to see like you know the badlands all around it So we get to North Dakota and Elwood spots
-
[SPEAKER_00]: steps going up the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like a ladder and it's just like forever.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is like a never-ending ladder.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was daunting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And none of us thought we could do it because it's for a Bible week.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're really smart on a Bible week.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the time we don't do things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Some people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Some people, some of us.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Some of us feel like kickboxing and shadow boxing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And exactly.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And then spraying their foot and then got healed it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: another story for another time.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: But usually we're careful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's someone that he's talking about and someone else installed bees day before the revival.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But after that we have decided that we're going to be careful because we're obviously we have a job to do and we take our revival seriously.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, we pack up like we're in North Dakota.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Elwood wants to climb this mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're like, okay, we'll go check it out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we get to the bottom of the mountain where, like, first of all, it's a hike just to get to the bottom of the mountain where all the ladder was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we get there and we're like looking up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Elwood has like this child like look on his face.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just so excited to climb this mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's literally like climbing a ladder.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you're going all the way up the side of a mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Chaz is a smart one of the group.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Chaz is like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the rest of us is like, yeah, we're going.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Chasties at the bottom of the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the rest of us climb up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Michael is actually he had a fear of heights.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so did my son Boom.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the two of them just to conquer that fear and go at that mountain was huge.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But we get to the top of the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Cannot breathe.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's wild horses up there for very dogs, all kinds of cool stuff.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We don't care because we're breeding and focusing on how to breathe.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Edward is just, you know, he's just looking around going wild horses.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: He's wild horses.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That was pretty cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It really was and we had like a very heartfelt moment up on the top of the mountain with the wood.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it was very beautiful and we were glad we went.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We conquered the mountain, going down the mountain was very scary, especially because he had haydudes on and I had crocs on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we really had to be careful getting down the mountain, but we got down to the bottom of the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And anyways, my reason for talking about it was I posted a picture to Instagram.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, you know, talking about how we conquered the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And literally within two minutes, it was seriously two minutes later, a lady message me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, are you in Medora?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yeah, you know, and she's like, please baptize me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, man, like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: at this point like we haven't made any stops to baptize people and you know if we were to put it out on social media and say hey we're here then we could have hundreds of people show up and not be able to move to the next place so it's a very delicate situation because we want to give everybody equal opportunity and
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And all of our revivals, that's what we do is we just, it's equal opportunity.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone can show up to any revival.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no sign-ups.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no registration.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's for anyone to come.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so this was really hard because I might, oh man, how do I make this exception, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously, I pray to about it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm in prayer and we end up going to sleep in the next morning like everybody wakes up and I'm on, we're doing it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're baptizing this lady and she messages me and I'm like, where's the closest water access?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so she's like, oh, there's a campground down the way down the road from where, you know, you are.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I send Alewood and Michael out and I'm like, y'all be some real disciples and go out to the town and go fishing, you know, fishers of men.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so they go out and they evangelize and you could tell us a little bit about your trip with Alewood evangelizing.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: First time I've been out like evangelizing like that on the streets.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And I looked at Pastor Elwood.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, man, you must do this all the time.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, no, it's the first time for everything.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, what?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Me too.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And so it was pretty cool.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We had a pretty cool bonding moment there.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We went up probably to like six people, three of the people actually showed up to the baptisms.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: But one of the guys, he was an older guy, and he looked at me in L.wood, L was so nice.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And he looks at L.wood in me, and he says, I don't need that gospel crunch.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And me and I were just standing there like, we didn't even hear what he said at first because it was like, huh?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: You really just say that.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And then it was, I wouldn't change the thing about it was amazing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's, it's always a learning lesson like no matter what, like God shows you through things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's pointing seats.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you never know that old man could go home and sit and then thinking about it like, man, those people were so nice to me and, you know, and maybe he priced about it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he repents.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But either way, you had people show up, which was really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That was cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we go to the campground like minutes later.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we end up going there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We met like a little group of people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They were, they were with another ministry.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember the name of it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But they travel around too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it was really cool like getting to meet them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so two or three of the people that you had talked to.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're a part of that group.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Or do that group on the same land where they were worshiping, where they go every Sunday?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was pretty wild.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It really was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a really divine and I really loved them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I got to like really explain like our revival and what we're doing and hopefully inspire them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it was almost like a a big teachable moment where we just stood there in a circle and I was able to like tell them, you know, about being unashamed and, you know, having boldness and Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so anyways, I go baptize that lady and after she's baptized,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I get to the car and I'm taking my weighters off and I take my weighters off and we have our red shirts on and like this elderly lady comes running off out of nowhere and she stops us and she was like I found out you were in town and she's like I just had to come thank you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She said I left church
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, I left my husband there and everything.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, she did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, would I found out you were here?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I left, I left my husband, I left church and came straight here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she said, I just want to thank you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not going to cry.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because testimonies are so huge to me, you know, but she says, I just want to thank you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she says that her daughter was baptized by us in Oklahoma and was healed.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she was healed of one of the things that I had, you know, like, God healed me from.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it really hit me in that moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, my daughter is healed of autoimmune diseases.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just like, you know, I'm just like, oh my goodness, I'm like, you came here and just to tell us thank you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, yes, I found out you were here, which I'm like, wow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she found us like she hugged us down.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like my blood out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But I was so grateful in that moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just, I blurted it out and I was like, you want to be baptized?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's crying and she's like, I can't ask that of you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, well, you didn't ask that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I offered, you know, she's like, well, you're not, you're not wet anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, because I have waiters.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I could pull them back up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, well, I'm not prepared.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any clothes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I looked at her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, if you want to be baptized, we'll make it happen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, chas has three daughters.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have bunches of clothes in this trip.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, we will get you some clothes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so she says yes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it was a beautiful moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And turns out as we got in the water, you know, I'm able to pray over her and find some things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she actually had been diagnosed with jaw cancer.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I told her, I'm like, God brought you to this water for a reason.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I like touched her jaw and I prayed over her jaw and believed fully in her healing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was beautiful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She came out of the water and she was just praising God and just crying.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was such a beautiful moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, come to find out, like we really didn't know this came around.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We had never been.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it could have been like a mud hole.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's the idea.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Trusted it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it ended up y'all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the most beautiful place to ever baptize.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it, the badlands cut through, like the river cut through the badlands and it was just, I can't even explain how beautiful that place was.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: The river was like,
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was muddy.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Look like chocolate milk.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And then there was like the, you know, the badlands.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what you call Hills Mountains.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Can you?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Can you?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we don't got them in Kentucky.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But it was really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we really love to see it like all of us felt very blessed just being there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then ministering to that other group and just kind of connecting with them was really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we leave North Dakota.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course after I have to go to Masu for near shop.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's a part of road trip with me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to stop and we're going to go to super near shops.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess T-shirts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I get T-shirts.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's my thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I stop and I get my T-shirts and you'll probably see them in a lot of my videos and it's so funny.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll have like a Colorado and they're like, oh, you live in Colorado?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, no, just picked up souvenir.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm a souvenir T-shirt person.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: In case anybody was wondering, but anyways, we leave and you know what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, you found your favorite ice cream there.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So while she was over there again, T-shirts.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: me and Walt, the kids got huckleberry ice cream from a local shop.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Turned out to be a life changer for them.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Best ice cream.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: If you get to have it, get it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So good.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was amazing to see like, everybody was just so filled with happiness and joy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we were just, we were excited and on fire, you know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we leave there and our next stop is Montana.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And in Montana, man, my wheels were turning.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I have got to figure this out where we can do a pop up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and so there was a moment where everybody was going to Yellowstone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They were going to the mountains just to kind of look at animals and things like that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And first of all, Michael, as he mentioned a minute ago, her his foot, it was heel over night, but he still hurt his foot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so he decided not to go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I wasn't going because the Lord had pressed it really hard on my heart not to go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Yellowstone had been part of my bucket list before, like, you know, and I really wanted to go.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I read it to see the geysers.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I was ready, but they didn't go see the geysers, so it all worked out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we didn't have to sell nothing.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And we did get to see the Yellowstone Mountains on our way out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We did, we did, yes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we opted out and we didn't go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Walt didn't go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The kids didn't go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Michael didn't go, not didn't go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so in Deb, Deb didn't go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're all sitting at the house and there was a moment where the Lord just kind of told me to go outside.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so, a go outside and I'm like, looking at the mountains, you know, just like looking for animals and whatnot and praying.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and the Airbnb owner actually comes across the yard.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he starts talking to me and everything and I start engaging in conversation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just told him my story, like I tell everyone, I'm like, you know, I was dying and I met Jesus in my hospital bed and he raised me up and he sent me on foot to work for him and I'm like, I travel around the world and back to us people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm telling him my story and telling him why we're there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I might thank you so much for being a gracious host and letting us be here and all these things.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so, do you believe in Jesus?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, yeah, he's like, I do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, but I've never been baptized.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, son, you know, but before I could say anything, he said, do you have time to squeeze me in?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we ended up getting on two sabasads and we go scouting for water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So there was a spring fed horse trough that he owns.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's really cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it just like comes out of the spring comes out of the horse trough.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's so cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we ended up, you know, going up there to see if it would work.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was perfect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was perfect.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we go back home, Pastor Elwood and everybody comes back and we end up going in baptizing
-
[SPEAKER_00]: our Airbnb owner which just goes to show like you have to tell everyone about Jesus like even people you encounter that you normally would just pass by you know like you don't talk to your Airbnb owners like ever like they don't them around you like usually usually but then this one this way just came up and it was like yeah
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and was perfect and so his daughter actually came up to remember and Michael ends up coming outside and the kids as well like right towards the end of the conversation I had with Airbnb owner and his daughter was passing by not a coincidence and she pulls up as well and so I get to minister like to there was her brothers were there too and one of her friends and so I'm just telling them you know a little bit more of what I had told their dad and he's like he told him he was like yeah I'm gonna get baptized
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and they seemed very uninterested in the moment you know because they were they were young and and you could tell they've been potent all day and just having fun you know and but the daughter really she reminded me a lot of mild self you know she reminded me of who I was when I thought I was Christian but before I really knew Jesus
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I prayed for her all day, like the rest of the day, I just, she would come across my mind and I would pray for her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I might Lord move her heart, move her heart.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know she's got a big purpose, move her heart.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I ended up, uh, baptized in the Airbnb owner, and I locked eyes with her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I lived up locked eyes, and she comes in, you know, she had decided she was getting baptized too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it was a very beautiful moment of us, baptized in them, and it just solidified like what we were doing, not just like these big revivals, which are, they're so important because there's so many people coming to them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But then it's like the ones on the way you know and it reminded me so much of Jesus and his travels and like the ones on the way the woman at the well So anyways, it was just really cool to like feel
-
[SPEAKER_00]: feel the calling of being disciples, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so then we're fired up, we've baptized our every of being.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the next morning, like, well, before the next morning, that night, we decided to do a pop-up and we're like, all right, what we're going to do is we're going to post the flyer on our stories only.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, about, I looked it up in about ten thousand people see like one platform of the stories.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, whoa.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, on Instagram, ten thousand people usually see one of
-
[SPEAKER_00]: my stories.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I was like, oh, and I'm like, how many of them, who would be in this vicinity?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even need to explode.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was thinking.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was worried about it because I'm like, okay, so we can't do that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We can't just post a flyer because we would not be able to move on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so then like the Lord showed me, like, I could not post a location, but if I post a flyer, then someone interested in when coming could message me and I would give them that address.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, that will work.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That will work because we can control the amount of people because we obviously can't open it all the way up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just can't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I would love to.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I would love to, but obviously we had somewhere to be.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We had to be in Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I prayed on it and the Lord was like, let's go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I put the flyer up and I was so excited.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So the next morning we wake up and we were actually supposed to be heading out of Montana that day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And instead we decided to hang around a little bit and bypass some people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we put that flyer up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we had about thirty responses overnight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we sent it to like fifteen or twenty of them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we ended up having how many baptisms?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Twelve.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: There's five for me, five for you, five for L would.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: it was a very beautiful location that we had no idea like we just picked the closest water source and it was the Yellowstone River and it was beautiful and I was ready to go like I was
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know you were too.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We were just getting in the spirit and it was like we're done.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, what?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: What do you mean we're done?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We just started.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I felt too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're so used to being in the water all day and I was ready to share.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, okay, well, we're done.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It really was, but we all like one of my favorite shots I've ever seen is me and Elwood coming out of the water.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I love that.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That's my favorite.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we were just the old with the spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You could just see the Holy Spirit on all of us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we were just happy we were joyful of what we just did.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I love it in the film too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I do too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I need to get a print of that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we'll have Wendy paint it.
-
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that would be cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That would be cool.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, then, so we move on, we have one more stop before our big destination.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we, so I planned this specifically for Elwood and Deb because I thought about like Deb and, you know, the long travels.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Deb, you know, she was, she was bedridden before.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And now she's healed in Jesus name.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She's going thirty one hours across the country to Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, you know, we're our last stop can be relaxing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I had planned for us to go to a hot springs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was so excited because I'm like, I've never been actually no one on the trip.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've ever been to a hot springs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, okay, we're gonna stop.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's Quinn's hot springs resort.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I had planned for us just to relax, you know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so all of us go and, you know, Edward gets in the hot springs and Deb doesn't, Deb takes her time to rest in the hotel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that for her, but the rest of us got in hot springs and then the cold plunge, which is not my favorite.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But they loved it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I actually eat chickened out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did get in there, but I didn't go under.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't go under.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I went, but I got in there and then I said if someone was here to be baptized, I would go and I would stay in that water all day, but I was very much in my flesh and I wanted to be in the hot springs like that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so anyways, which didn't work out for me because I ended up playing Marco Polo with like the entire
-
[SPEAKER_00]: to remember that all the kids and all the kids just gravitated to me and we played Marco Polos so I did that in hot springs instead of relaxing but I got to minister to him I got to minister to probably everyone in the hot springs everyone around me heard about Jesus and so it's pretty cool
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Man, my job really never ends.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I will talk about Jesus everywhere I go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: At the hot springs, there was a lady.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I really love her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Her name was Laura.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I had been talking her for probably over a year.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She had invited us to Montana.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She was the first person ever invited us to Montana.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But she lives like right on the Canadian border.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, that's so far up north.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I extended and offered a her and I was like, hey, if you want to meet me, I'm going to be a Quinn's hot springs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was thinking I would have baptized your in the hot springs, you know, because I'm like that would be really beautiful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And but then as we were in the hot springs, I was like, I can't baptize nobody here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just been a thing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's nothing against people who baptize in pools or anything like that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But like God's commission me differently.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and I can't do anything that's outside of God's will.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I couldn't do it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I have the same conviction.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I couldn't do it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I wanted to, and I was like okay, but it was natural sprint.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: One of them was a natural sprint.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I could have went over to that, but it was really hot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was just like, there's going to be people all around.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just, it killed the Holy Spirit for me, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I didn't feel like I could obviously have gotten into the presence.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I could have got the job done, but it just, it didn't feel like what I wanted it to, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I prayed on it, I'm like, Lord,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that this is a spring water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like a chemical pool because chemical pools I just absolutely can't do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that's not living water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is very controversial too because then like I said some people baptized in horse troughs and things like that and there's nothing wrong with that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just I'm commissioned to the rivers.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm commissioned to yeah living natural water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so anyways
-
[SPEAKER_00]: had baptized you know the one man in a springs and so I'm like okay well maybe this is the same thing it's a springs but when I was there it was just it was different there was people you know drinking and things like that around just living
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just couldn't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I had message her and I was like, hey, I know I told you you could come to the hot springs and be baptized.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But is there any way we can do it in the river across the street?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, oh, I'm so glad you asked.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so at this point, I was like, all right, well, I'll baptize her tomorrow morning in the river.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I had planned that, well right before I went to sleep, there was another lady who messaged me that missed the Montana one, the other Montana one.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, I'm so sorry I couldn't make it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Is there any way that I can still be baptized or you still there?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, well, no, I'm actually like three or four hours past that location and I told her where I was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, that's closer to where I live.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, and so I invited her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I went to sleep and I forgot that I invited her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, I did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I went to sleep and in my mind I was just baptized in the one lady.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'd woke up the next morning and the coolest story about this lady.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, her name's Laura.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She works at an assisted living facility.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: One of her patients has been watching me for a very long time.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she had told her that she was coming to be baptized.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the lady in the assisted living place was like, I want to go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so she busted her out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like a jail break.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, wheelchair oxygen machine and everything and like she ends up coming to and it was just it was so incredible like their faith their faith and that girl, you know when I baptize you know she's so sweet the first lady and in the second one too she's so so adorable but she wanted to give up on life like that's all I felt when she you know was about to go into the water is just that she wants death
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I reviewed the spirit of death all for her.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, she's going to tell everybody in that nursing home who got his.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just, you know, had that moment with both of them, but we were able to baptize them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And another very cool location.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There was like this big train tunnel behind us.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was a train tunnel going into the mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So right next to the river.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: classic Montana like painting yeah pretty much and it's always so wow like we literally it was it was as if we picked the most beautiful places on our journey and we didn't it was completely random it was just the closest water axis yeah so it was really cool um but we ended up baptizing those two people um and then after that like we get out of our waiters again
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Chaz is standing outside of his little hotel with our little cabin, with his red shirt still on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we already go back to our hotel and we're changing our little cabin and we're changing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Holly calls me and she's like, did you tell someone else to be baptized?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I don't think so.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was like, oh wait, I was like, I did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, is she here?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, yes, she's been looking for us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she found Chaz in his red shirt.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my goodness.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, wow.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Chaz said it was like one moment for him that he felt the stupidest in his whole life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because no one knew, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he said he was standing there and is sure in this lady comes up to him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, I'm here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, I'm here too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, uh,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Is Kaylee here?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's like, yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then she's like, oh, um, I'm here to be baptized.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, oh, he was like, it was the most awkward few minute conversation.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so anyways, I end up like we get our waders back on.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We go back down to the river.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Vaptas her and it was be a beautiful change that broke off her with.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it was beautiful so at this point we have baptized along the entire journey and our last leg of the trip is just a few hours and we'll be in Washington so we got on the road and we get to Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Holly runs her rental bin into a tree.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But it only did it, it didn't, it didn't cause too much damage, but it was definitely a comical moment.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But we get there and we realize like the place has been, you know, prepared for us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was a little different because it was a camp.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're usually like we did a camp in Indiana, but we rented the whole camp.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This was Bear Paul Camp and they had like in terms of living care and things you know they had like but the setup was beautiful like we had ample amount of room They had the kids had like a basketball court and stuff so that was cool And then we had obviously the big river and the river was beautiful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We got to swim in the river
-
[SPEAKER_00]: before, so that was really awesome.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But so we all get there in the team starts filtering in, everybody starts getting there, and the Holy Spirit's presence is just amazing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we start really, really getting into the spirit, and I wanted the meeting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So every time before our events, I'll do a meeting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So typically, if we've got to have Saturday, Sunday, then I'll do a Friday meeting with my team.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just debrief, I explained to them, you know, like, what we're going to be doing, and just help anybody with any questions they have, and all the people where they're going to be positioned.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This one was different.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: This one was different.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I started it with that well after the meeting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I started like to end it with the worship team.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the Holy Spirit presence in that room.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: mass so strong.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was so strong and so we praised and we worshipped and we cried and we praised the entire evening and it was just so beautiful and it was the perfect thing to carry us into the next morning.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the next morning comes which is Revival Day and it's July fourth and fifth we actually had our Revival and July fourth because this camp it was the only time that this camp didn't have a place you know like a filled place.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was only time we could come
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and they had called us and invited us and they're like, hey, the only day we have this year is July fourth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so for months we had this planned and we were so excited about it because we were like, oh man, firework, so we're going off behind us and like we just had this vision.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And God, it was almost like he told us to get quiet.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it wasn't about the noise and it wasn't about the fireworks and like we stopped caring like we're like we don't care about the fireworks and it was about the people and it was it was so incredible and so we baptized there was how many I think there's eighty eight pods I think we had eight pods at this one yes maybe nine maybe nine
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Michael has a baptism pod.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Michael's actually been baptized in four.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You started baptizing Texas.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Texas was your first.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so at least four or five.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Texas is so funny because like you I don't know that you would ever just be like, Hey, I'm ready, but I was like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: get in there, Michael.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you did great, you did great.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like Michael really does step into his power and authority in Jesus name and it doesn't, it's not you just like it's not me in that water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we've got so many testimonies and every time I'm like, beaming, I'm like, yes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: my Timothy, but he's doing incredible and just the Holy Spirit is just really using you as a vessel and so like when I look over and I see you work in and see everyone work and I'm just like I just want to cry I just want to sit there and cry because I'm so grateful that God sent me a team I could trust and that I know it's working in the same annoying thing that I'm working in and like it's just it's beautiful but um I want to tell us a little bit about one of your biggest takeaways from from the weekend
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Just all the fellowship with the team.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So in the water this time, you know you're working for the Lord, right?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And it is work, but it's always so fulfilling.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: But this time it was different.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was like as we were working, we were resting.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And we got to have so much fellowship with the team.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And with the worship team, which we don't get to do a lot of times, because we're all kind of doing our own things.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: But working together, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: So definitely the fellowship.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I loved it too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was family.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was exactly like the book of Acts explains the early church.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we were able to just all have unity.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there was like a perfect amount of just love and happiness through the entire team.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the mud was my least favorite part, though.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything, I feel like the entire trip went so smooth.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like God really blessed us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then there was the mud.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the mud.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We gotta go through those things, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like how easy would it be if it was just the piece of cake on everything?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But what happened was the water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like this was crazy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It hadn't happened that low in that fast since like the seventies somebody had looked it up.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But the doc remember how the doc was like
-
[SPEAKER_00]: maybe two feet of water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, from about eight feet of the dock, like going this way, the water had receded overnight.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we got in the water the next day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the water was gone, like it was just gone.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was crazy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like this big huge river.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a giant river.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just like a pond.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like we've seen the water levels go down.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Not like that not like that ever and so we we struggled like it ended up putting us so far in in the mookiness that like it was like Clay it was like thinking it was like quick sand like yeah, but like we were sunk like I would go so far and I would be sunk up to my hips.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, you would just up down in your entire leg which is be disappeared.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just eaten by the sand
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was rough.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was rough for us because, you know, I thought at one point I was like, okay, so quick-sand logic, right?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, if I move in a fast quorum, then I'll go deep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, good timing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, how do you steal?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so I was really still, and I would baptize, but I was being still.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I was thinking like the Titanic.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, okay, I've got to get help out of here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Chaz and Ryan actually like they had to dig me out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They did dig me out like get their hands and use a scooper.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I had to have Andrew and he's pretty big like he's pretty big like he's he's you know, so he grabs me and he pulls me like
-
[SPEAKER_03]: it was bad.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was and so Chasin Ryan like they would make me laugh a lot because they would be stuck in and they would move around like a like a we will wobble type of thing like a chicken when you like move their bodies.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it was like a so we had a lot of fun with the mud, but it was also very hard.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: got out and he was like my body hurts worse now than it did like when we first started baptizing like remember when we when we first started baptizing at some of our earlier events like our bodies would be broken past the point of what we thought like we would be in so much pain in so many places and like the lords built us up so strong after we keep doing this month after month and you know after these baptisms like the string of baptisms we did on the way we were fired up we were ready to go and they were stuck in the mud
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and it pulled so much muscles and so much you know on our body but you know I had the the second day was just miserable like we were sunk to the mud as deep as we could everyone was falling yeah our whole team but we still had so much joy oh yeah yeah there was so much joy but there was it was definitely um
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was really hard because you would get stuck and then you would slip into your flesh.
-
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And you would bounce back and forth between being in the spear and being in the flesh.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: After you had somebody like in the water with you, it was better.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: But there would be times where you just jump back and forth.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And I had a few times too where I had like a tendon that would be pulled all the way from the back of my leg all the way to my ankle.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And I was rebuking at the old time.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, you're not putting me out of commission.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not happening.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we all have to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, my toes actually still hurt from where I would like pull my toes up on my boots.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Dude, I was sore.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It was a workout.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It really was all of us felt it and I was like, well,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the Lord's prepare and us, you know, because of any condition.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We got cold, hot, mud, quick sand.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We're good.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're good.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: The only thing we haven't done yet is snow, but we have.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I've had tons of ice.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you did, yeah, yeah, you cut ice open.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did have broke ice, but yeah, maybe maybe we'll have a snow baptism one day.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you just prophesize something, Michael?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Alaska.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I would go I would go anywhere like actually when I say that like I used to be like, oh, I don't want to go like I I don't want to go and I really don't have desire to go overseas But I know we're gonna end up working and so I'm fine with it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm like wherever God wants to send me I will go You know Paul he was shipwrecked in all kinds of things bitten by a snake right out there and he still showed up You know, so knew he's gonna be thrown in prison still showed up
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I feel like there's, you know, it doesn't matter where we go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like wherever the Lord needs us to go, we'll go.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get through whatever it is there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever obstacles come.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so this time, the biggest hurdle was the mud.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That was the mud.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was okay though.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we ended up, you know, afterwards we still had so much joy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So much joy in the camp.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The whole next day, we just like cut up and had fun.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was, it was beautiful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Pastor Elwood didn't get to get on the zipline.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little sad about that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We go have to still take him somewhere.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It'll happen.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We got to do a zip line for him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Could you believe that that was on his bucket list?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, after the climbing of the mountain, yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, actually.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Pastor Owen looks like some wild.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He has no fear.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's so excited.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was like looking at that mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was a mountain.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm down for it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like come on out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm all about adventures.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know, it's
-
[SPEAKER_00]: it's about fun and the joy and we do we work really hard like we work really hard and for the first longest time like probably ten events I didn't allow myself to have fun at all and it was just it was it was work you know and I was working but now I know like I found joy in the Lord right yes the joy in the Lord yep and the whole team like watching everybody and just
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it brings me so much joy.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not alone anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I have a team of absolute warriors.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I can just look over and watch y'all and just be like, yeah, you know, because it's, it's amazing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Watching y'all do deliverance and watching y'all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just, I feel so fulfilled, you know, just just watching.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that's how Jesus feels.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I know that's how Jesus feels when you watch is what we're doing.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you know, it's
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Even more so because we're like his children.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
-
[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so Washington was really great.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We baptized over a thousand people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And West Virginia is next.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we're going to baptize over three thousand.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: At least.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: At least.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: At least.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I feel.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it has been like West Virginia is going to be massive.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Whenever West Virginia is going to be a three day event.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I haven't thought about that yet.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It could be.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if we don't baptize everybody, then we will roll over the next week.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we drove thirty one hours.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I think if we can spend another day, it's it's not that for sure.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I would absolutely that's and it's always an option for me.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it always has been where like we will baptize to the last person's baptops, you know, and so if that ends up being
-
[SPEAKER_03]: big numbers, but God got it handle.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we've seen him do some weird things with time and people.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like the numbers, the math ain't math and throw that all zero percent.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It never has.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like what the amount of people that we baptize and we take our time with every single.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Not just a dunk and run.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: We pray.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: They need healing.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: They get healing.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: If they need deliverance, they get deliverance.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Because the Lord's meeting them and they're in that water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful and then also encouraging people to do it too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Encouraging people to be disciples and not just the kind that warm the fuse, but be the kind that go out there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And if I would have never spoken to my Airbnb owner, then how would his life be so different?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't have got to baptize him and to change him and his daughter.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I got word just the other day, actually, that there's son who was there as well.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I locked out with that kid and I was like,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You ready?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think I did say that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I did ask him if he wanted to be baptized.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was right after the daughter was.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I did.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I looked at him a lot of times with the grade.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I said something along the lines of you come and two or something.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And but anyways, he ended up getting baptized with his church, which was like the next week.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, church camp or something.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So just spreading, you know, spreading the gospel and planting seeds no matter what you're doing is so important.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like so many times this world has us so hecticly running.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like people don't stop just to be like, how are you doing?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know Jesus?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what are you going through in your life?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, testimonies are a huge part of, you know, what we do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because you look at the Bible and it talks about the one man who was in the tomb, right?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was cutting himself.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He was in the tombs.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And he was possessed.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like Jesus comes and he casts, you know, the demons out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: They run in the pigs and they run in the water, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But Jesus casted demons out in the manuals to follow Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Jesus says, no, I need you to go back and testify.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like go back to your town and tell them what happened.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like he goes back and ends up being a walking testimony for the Lord, like telling of his goodness, telling of what God's done for him.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I really feel like that's important for all of us that we are walking testimonies, that all of us have a story, that we have something that God has brought us through, that we can be able to help other people through.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I truly believe that our discipleship is just getting started.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we have a lot to do for the Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And the time is pressing.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know right now, I feel like he's pouring out his spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like he's about to increase again.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he too.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like increase of the spirit, increase of where we're going and how big it's getting.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like the Kingdom of Heaven, like you said, it's that hand, but it's coming and I feel like it's coming just coming quick.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: The end of time stuff is really wrapping up in my generosity things and the time now to really show people who Jesus is is so important.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we got a lot of work to do, Michael.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of work.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm ready for it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Not me too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And now we're thinking about a pop-up in Kentucky because we're here, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot of our team that is here, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't believe that's a coincidence.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I believe God is moving it to where hopefully one day people can come to us too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because right now there's a lot of people that would.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of people that would show up if we were ever able to have baptisms here where we are.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's something I'm praying about.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm praying to be able to, like obviously I want to reach as many people as we can, like I want to be able to help baptize people, set them free and help them get what they came for.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I definitely, you know, right now we're being sent out.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that'll, that'll be for a while.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we get sent out places.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We go to different states.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And but then I do think we're gonna have a home base.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I believe we're going to have a home base.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And when we do, I mean, I already feel like that's why God's moving people, you know, and chasin his family live here now.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Holly is one of our event directors.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, she's here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And now you're here.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You're one of our main baptizers.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we just, we have Elwood.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's our preacher.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we have the worship team.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we have a big chunk of our ministry here, like station somewhere.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: And so we're relatively close to each other today.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Within an hour.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: everybody, and I'm like, well, not everybody, because we still have a lot of team members that are outside states, but they're in the surrounding states, you know, like they're there within driving distance, most of them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So actually believe, you know, they got to do something new.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that there's something that's going to come.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Probably.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it is.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It's new.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Something new.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: like it and then you know whenever he's ready for us to launch that then we'll we'll take and run with it until then like we're working you know we're all editors so me him and Walt like we pretty much edit while we're you know we're always working for the Lord so we're trying to get videos out so that y'all can see what we're doing and be inspired and just see the change and see you know Jesus glorified and and uplifted and you know like
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Watching what he does, watching what the Lord does, and having mercy on His people, and setting the campus free, and healing people, like we're able to edit and to show y'all, and it to be, you know, pushed across the world, and, you know, Billy Graham, like one of his last sermons, he was talking about how to evangelize basically, and saying that, you know, when Jesus comes back, like, you know, obviously we know that Bible speaks about everybody's gonna hear the word, like on all four corners of the earth, everyone's gonna hear the word,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's showing now that like it's reaching.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, so Bill Graham was talking about, you know, computers and stuff that he wasn't even knowledgeable about.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But he was talking about how it was going to be like this big broadcasted type of, you know, evangelism and it's like, whoa, that's social media.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like seeing the big wave of social media and how far it's reaching.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And like our videos are reaching so far.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, people are traveling.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We've had people from Poland and lots of from Canada last time.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Switch your lens with your lens.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We did we had China China yep Beijing China we've had Bogotá Colombia.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We've had several from different parts of Colombia.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: You say Canada already?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Lots of Canadians, especially Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: There was a ton in Washington.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But just showing that it's reaching, you know, like God is sending this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so our jobs don't just end in the water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We work for the Lord full time and we're very grateful, like we're very grateful to be able to edit and bring
-
[SPEAKER_00]: the Word of God to y'all.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And daily lessons and all the things we do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think a lot of people see our ministry and think that we end in the water and we don't.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We just we start in the water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But this job working for the Lord's continual.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll do whatever he sends us to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So one day when we have popups here, I feel like we'll be ready for it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be ready for whatever God, you know, eclipse us and tells us to do.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But we look forward.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We look forward to all of them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We look forward to every single event.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're leaving what three weeks?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Three weeks?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Three weeks?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're leaving three weeks for West Virginia.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then West Virginia was after that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Texas?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Texas.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited for Texas.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Texas will be, you know, almost a year repeat for us.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: No, we shoot.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be massive.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It really will be huge.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We're ready, you know, like we're ready.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so we'll have Texas and then we'll have Tennessee.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Louisiana.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, do we?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you don't know we're going to Louisiana.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't really know where we're going.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I was like, when we went on that thirty-one hour trip, I had no idea where I was at on the map.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I could have been anywhere.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I was like, I'll just get in the van.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, pretty much.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You should hear Holly talk about the map.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Have you heard her with her?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, Holly is just, she is so funny with it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: But like, we were talking about going, like, how we went to Montana.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she just mixed up with so many different states, you know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And she'll just be like, oh, we were in, um, oh, what she keep calling, um,
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It was something with the W. When we was in Montana, she kept calling it.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Was constant?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Was constant.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, we were... I was doing that too.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We were states away from it, but it's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We travel so much.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We travel so much that it's hard to keep up with where we are.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: but she was very funny with it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have a behind-the-scenes video on that.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Which, by the way, if you all haven't watched our behind-the-scenes, they're my favorite.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I like to watch it behind-the-scenes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's my favorite thing to edit because it's real life.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It's us, we're goofing off, we're behind-the-scenes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We got where we stopped at our prairie chicken on there.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have where I was telling him about the walk next monster on there and just so many fun things and like behind the scenes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's on our ministry page.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We have two pages.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Most of my socials is Kayla Gabbard, but then obviously we have our ministry page which is KG Ministry.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so that page has all of our goofiness and our behind the scenes stuff.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And I love it though.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so make sure you're following both of our pages on all of our socials.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And then of course our YouTube, which is Caleb Everd ministry.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And that is all of our channels.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So we thank y'all for your love and your support.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it truly does mean a lot to know that we have people that love us and that are praying for us out here and just, you know, watching this big move of God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're honored to be used like this by God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And so, um, onward we go.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Michael is there anything else you want to say to the podcast listeners?
-
[SPEAKER_03]: No?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a man a few words.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I pulled a few out of you on this podcast.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: It probably was a drink.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Walt's new coffee today before we started this because I am white.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what?
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he talks a lot in the water.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you ever get to be baptized by Michael, you'll hear a lot of words not of him.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of words and a lot of words.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Cause it's not him.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: It comes from God.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyways, thank you so much for being on this episode and we hope you guys loved it.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we will see you all soon for another podcast.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Laura, we just thank you so much for this fellowship today.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you so much for Michael being bold and being able to talk to the podcast listeners.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you so much for each and every person and their ears that are listening to this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We asked Laura that there was something that we said that maybe can help them out in their lives.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: that Lord, they just take up their cross as well, and that they will have a desire to work for you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we just thank you, Jesus, for calling us for such a time as this.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you, Lord, that your spirit is pouring out, and that we all fill it Lord, and that we're just ready for your second coming, and we're preparing the way.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: So Lord, if you would just continue to let us prepare and just show us what to do and how to do it, and we will go, and we will be your hands and feet.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: and we thank you again Lord for building our team so strong and having these warriors Lord that they're able to just go and work for you in this water for no matter how long it takes and all the mud and everything that we encounter just to be able to do your will and we just thank you Lord we thank you for that your will be done that is not our will but that it is your will for our lives
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And we just thank you, Lord, and ask that you continue to send us, continue to let the people have stirrings of their hearts and meet us in this water Lord so that we may help them.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And God, we just thank you.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: We can't just thank you enough, like it's continual.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Because we do, we thank you so much, Lord, for giving us this purpose, for giving us this calling, for giving us this family, this ministry.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And Lord, we just ask that you continue to bless us and to keep us safe on our travels.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: And bless everybody listening to this podcast and Jesus name.
-
[SPEAKER_03]: Amen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: That lights bright when you open your eyes.
-
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, well God bless y'all and we will see you soon.
