  1. Hello, Northland family. Today is December 22nd. We're getting close to Christmas, 3 days away. And so wanted to share this passage with you 1st John four, uh, 9 through 10. In this, the love of God was made manifest among us that God sent his only son into the world so that we might live through him. And this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. You know, at this time, around Christmas, we can feel awfully alone sometimes. Um, and so it's good to have that reminder that God is always with us. You know, one of my favorite pictures is of this painting of the tabernacle. You know, and at this time, we knew that, you know, God had to actually not be in the presence of his people because of their sin. But now we know because Christ came and he dies on the cross for us, that we do have that intimate presence with him through what he has done for us. And so, and further than that, we know that we have his presence through his spirit living in us. And so, at this time, uh, it's it's just good to remind ourselves that that blessing we have that God sacrificed his own son for us and that we have his presence with us always. And so let us cherish that and let us just give him praise for this kingly gift that he's given us in his son. Y'all have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Thanks.
