[SPEAKER_02]: Today we are with John Wayne and yes, that's his real name But we're gonna go into that as we talk about his story today.

[SPEAKER_02]: So John Wayne is our EMT of the revival and he has been with us since Oklahoma

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, baptized him at Oklahoma and ever since he has been with our revival and he's a vital part of it And so today we're just gonna deep dive into John Wayne's life and his testimony and hopes of inspiring somebody There's gotta be somebody out there.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's gonna listen to your testimony and they're gonna see what you've been through and it's gonna help them through it too

[SPEAKER_02]: So, what you say, we start to sing out with a prayer.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I agree.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, Lord God, I thank you so much for this podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: I thank you, Lord, for every listener that is listening to it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I ask God that everything we say today is directed by the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_02]: That we are able to show people who you are through his testimony.

[SPEAKER_02]: Lord, that everything he's been through in his life, that somebody can relate with, and somebody can fill the change, and somebody can come to you Christ.

[SPEAKER_02]: That they can get to know you through John Wayne's testimony.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, Lord God be with us as we talk about this testimony today, be with us as we are knocking all these nerves out of John Wayne that he ain't afraid of no cameras.

[SPEAKER_02]: We thank you, Lord, that he got bold enough to do this podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: We thank you, Lord, that he's going to do great at it, and that he's going to help a lot of people with his testimony.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, we ask all this in Jesus' name, Amen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_02]: No more fear.

[SPEAKER_00]: No more.

[SPEAKER_02]: All right, John Wayne.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, tell me a little bit about you.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right, well, I am a volunteer firefighter and a MTO work for an ambulance company in Hado Oklahoma, where you did the baptism over there?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have a small, handyman business and you just love in life, travel around to the revivals.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Here in my med bag.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's your right, but I think that that's such a beautiful thing, and obviously we'll go into a little bit of your past and see why you care yourself so well Because you're you're like me where we had to grow up fast.

[SPEAKER_02]: We had to grow up in a way that, you know, shaped us to who we are today And I think your past is so beautiful even though it was hard It's so beautiful because it can give a lot of people out there who are orphans and foster kids and just struggling with their parents or just, you know, anybody in situations it can give them hope

[SPEAKER_02]: that they can turn out like you.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, won't we throw childhood a little bit?

[SPEAKER_02]: What was uh, what was that like?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I was born into a home where I don't know who my biological dad is.

[SPEAKER_00]: My mom was a drug addict.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember situations being sexually assaulted.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember situations where I was hungry.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember just some, there's not good stuff like remember law enforcement being involved a lot during my childhood just free for all fights with my gigantic mom and her boyfriend and like windows shattering you know as a child those things are really almost terrifying yeah yeah I remember distinctly me and my biological mom were going for a birthday treat at a gas station

[SPEAKER_00]: And law enforcement showed up in a restaurant sitting there as a as a five-year-old boy You know just sitting there watching that happen and you know even to this day like law enforcement still like it triggers me sometimes You know even though I'm a first responder I see the lights and sirens, you know I hear the click of handcuffs and it's still you know shocks me

[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I feel like the Lord's just taking that away, like just letting that, just letting that, like, yeah, he's taking all of that out, you know, and where I can, I can be a first responder and still have seen all of that happen, you know?

[SPEAKER_01]: To what happened after that?

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's tough, that is a tough childhood.

[SPEAKER_00]: yeah well you know as a child going through that like you just won't love yeah yeah and so you go so so I was taking away by the child protective services put into foster care because my you know that's not a good situation for any child and remember that distinctly the right home I was with my adopted mom and she was tried taking us home and I just remember that distinctly like

[SPEAKER_00]: walking in the house and my son they offered us a sandwich and I was standing in front standing behind my sister saying no, we're not taking sandwiches like just being that protector at five years old.

[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: Very troubled like they had me in public school for a year because I think they kind of had to.

[SPEAKER_00]: I took a plastic knife to school and said I wanted to

[SPEAKER_00]: I just moved her one day, my biological mom brought me in there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or by, sorry, adopted mom, brought me in there and she said,

[SPEAKER_00]: be able to give you life to Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yeah, and so I did, and that was the change.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like from the boy, from the boy, kicking holes in the wall, kissing you out to, I'm telling everybody about Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: The police officers outside the window, I'm walking through the store, like it's a John, stay with me.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna tell you, we're gonna tell people about Jesus, mama.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so it was just it was a cool like just like out of young age you can see a whole spirit empowering me to walk what I'm walking today, you know, so oh my goodness we just started and I'm like just about to fall because I know you and I know what a good young man you are.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I can only imagine young John Wayne, you know, and just, it hurts my heart.

[SPEAKER_02]: If anybody that has to have parents that don't love them, because that's the one people in life that should love you the most.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's the ones that should care for you and look after you and pour love into you and like no child deserves somebody that's not doing that.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's going to be mean to them or hurt them or let them see things.

[SPEAKER_02]: They shouldn't see, and it's, um,

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's always tough for me to hear those stories, but I know that there's a lot of people out there living those stories.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of people out there that was the same child as you as well.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they're trying to search and figure out, you know, Jesus is.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you're so blessed that you found the family you did because, well, they showed you Jesus.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and they, like, a normal child that has all of those problems is balancing from foster house to foster house to foster house.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you just went to one then, huh?

[SPEAKER_00]: I was actually supposed to be moved out.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was supposed to stay there for three days and then we're gonna move me to another foster home.

[SPEAKER_00]: And not out of, like this is a good kid, out of the love of their heart.

[SPEAKER_00]: My parents said no, we want these too.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's been forever.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: So your mom and dad, that's your mom and dad.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they are, they don't see it any other way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh God, what about your, do you talk to your biological mom or is that?

[SPEAKER_00]: So the last time I seen her in person, I was 14, and she was on drugs.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it was just hard, you can see it, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: See the effects of those, the last time I talked to her on the phone, she was in a program, and she was doing good.

[SPEAKER_01]: Good.

[SPEAKER_00]: She usually does good in this program.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then she gets out.

[SPEAKER_00]: she gets out and has to go back to the same people and it usually brings her back in but hopefully you know being in the program like she usually rises to the top you know because she does good so we're hoping that will stick with her yeah and I feel the need to pray for can we pray for

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, so Lord God, I thank you so much for the woman that birthed this man that this man and He just so incredible, God He works for you, He lives his entire life for you, He's sanctified.

[SPEAKER_02]: So God, we just ask right now and we plead right now that you go and reach His mom, that wherever she is right now, Lord, that you just put your hand upon her.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that she feels your touch and feels your love and that she doesn't want to turn back to the world anymore.

[SPEAKER_02]: We ask right now that you give her even stronger desire to walk with you and talk with you and turn away from the world.

[SPEAKER_02]: Lord, we ask that those temptations that they just follow the ground.

[SPEAKER_02]: We break every single one of those drug addictions off of that woman in Jesus Christ's name.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we just come in right now that every bit of those have to fall void.

[SPEAKER_02]: That in the name of Jesus, she will be stronger.

[SPEAKER_02]: She will resist those temptations, and she will follow you.

[SPEAKER_02]: So Lord God, we ask that you put your Holy Spirit in her.

[SPEAKER_02]: We know that we have faith where to or more are gathered.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I know there's many people listening so God just, we rally together for His mama.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we rally together for every single one of the mama's out there that is struggling, morning their children to be able to hold them and love them.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yet the enemy has them in some sort of addiction.

[SPEAKER_02]: So Lord, we ask right now that they see through all those temptations, and that the light comes in the darkness, and that the darkness recedes.

[SPEAKER_02]: So God, we thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: We thank you that we know that you are holy.

[SPEAKER_02]: We know Lord that you can change any situation, no matter how long it's been, Lord, you can go and you can change situations.

[SPEAKER_02]: So Lord, we just ask that you change this situation in his entire family, that she saves Lord, that she finds salvation, and she cleans to it, Lord, with all she has.

[SPEAKER_02]: And God, we just thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: We thank you for being able to be in prayer here today.

[SPEAKER_02]: We thank you, Lord, that we know that by our faith, that mountains can move, we've seen it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, Lord, we ask for every addiction to break, and everybody that's listening to this, Lord, if they have a parent that's out there or a son or a kid or just anybody that's battling with addiction, that this can give them hope too, that they can prayer this, pray the same prayer of fervently having faith that you can move.

[SPEAKER_02]: that you can change their lives so we thank you Jesus.

[SPEAKER_02]: We ask all this in Jesus name.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just their heart behind like taking it out.

[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted to help her.

[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted to help her too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's very... You don't find people like that every day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they helped her.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they helped her.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it always, like be there for, you know, my dad would be up in the night.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just praying, facing back and forth, praying for, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's right because prayers work and I know they do and that's why I felt immediately the Lord is like, pray, don't like, okay, here we go.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think I've got to pray for your mom yet.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to keep her my prayers too because addiction is ugly and it's all from Satan.

[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously we know that now and we see it in the water all the time, you know, we see people come in and they're coming to get baptized and they repent and they bury those things.

[SPEAKER_02]: But there's a lot of people that have a hard time giving it up.

[SPEAKER_02]: For whatever reason, they're just they're addicted, they love it, you know, and it's so hard for them to separate and to, you know, find themselves in a place where they don't need it or don't, you know, can't resist those temptations.

[SPEAKER_02]: But how beautiful is it now that you

[SPEAKER_02]: If you live your life not only helping people in the physical because you're, you know, you're an EMT, you see these things, you see people who are on drugs and you try to help them out.

[SPEAKER_02]: You pour into those people physically, but now spiritually as well.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like God's got you in a position where

[SPEAKER_02]: you're at these revivals and you're seeing all these things and you're helping people.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll vividly remember the first time I called you over as an EMT was when there was a kid who overdosed.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was a kid that had overdosed and they brought him to the revival.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you know fleshly, I was like, oh,

[SPEAKER_02]: they need to get him to a hospital, but they don't like wait a minute.

[SPEAKER_02]: We have an EMT here, but even more we have the power from Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so I floated that boy with prayer and he just seemed perfectly fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like he was fine, but I still wanted him to check out the physical and you came over and without knowing those connections of anything with your past and your mom or anything like that, but you came in and you came in with so much love.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so much love.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so now we'll talk about the revival a little bit and baptizing and kind of how you got involved because it's a huge part of your story, but even more so knowing your background and knowing what you've been through, what you've seen, and that you now apply that for the calls of Christ.

[SPEAKER_02]: And like, he's able to use you in your entire testimony.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, I met you in Oklahoma in the tiniest town.

[SPEAKER_02]: That place was...

[SPEAKER_02]: micro and I think it's so cool how God sends me to those places too because like their spot on the map like you couldn't even hardly pull it up you know and those are the places where God says go like I'm gonna go I don't care what it looks like you know yeah and so we get out there and I really like the I like the farmlands and stuff you know because that's I live in the woods you know and I'm I'm all about the country and so I pull up so Oklahoma and I felt

[SPEAKER_02]: I knew it was going to be a record breaker, like I knew what it was about to be, but I didn't yet know the capacity, because so far I've been baptizing, I think we were in the thousands range, which is still massive.

[SPEAKER_02]: But Oklahoma, we broke over 2000, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: There's 1500, I think.

[SPEAKER_02]: 1500, yep.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we did 1500 there, but it was still, it was massive.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like the line, I remember coming out on break.

[SPEAKER_02]: And the line was like through the gate, which was like forever long.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, we are gonna live here now.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is my residence now, how I would never leave, because there was so many people.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, wow, we're gonna be baptizing forever.

[SPEAKER_02]: But it was beautiful and it was so peaceful.

[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, I'm a Kentucky girl, but I did enjoy Oklahoma and I met you there, and so you were there with your family, with your adopted family, like with people that you, I say adopted family because we adopt people in Christ all the time.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I've adopted you, you're my family now.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's kind of how brothers and sisters and Christ do.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you meet, you know, that it is God that brought you together and you're like, all right, you remember other now.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's kind of how it is with us.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how it is with some of the people

[SPEAKER_02]: family and I remember our memory of serving like coffee and cookies and like doing whatever you can to warm these people up and just show them the love of Christ and then our memory coming in the water because there was a bunch of you that was probably what seven or eight of you are.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like 15 of you, oh man, that was a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: I remember there being a line.

[SPEAKER_02]: And of course like with my obviously with the way I'm a vessel for Christ, I have to make sure each person gets what they came for.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so it took a little while to get through it, everybody, because I was like starting on this in, there's just like praying, praying, praying, you were around the middle-ish.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then so pray.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_02]: I pray don't you.

[SPEAKER_02]: I feel the connections because I know, like if God's going to send somebody back to this ministry, I know, you know, pray to you and then I keep going down the line in your or baptized.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll let you kind of give your story on the baptism and like everything because I know you wouldn't plan on getting baptized.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I would like to hear that part and then we'll go in how you started.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: One thing I just want to say real quick, I love how God it.

[SPEAKER_00]: God takes the foolish things to confound the wise, because if you look at where I came from, you would, you see the pattern in people's life.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are once a drug addict, next generation drug addict, and instead God takes that, he breaks that, and he uses that so I can.

[SPEAKER_00]: impact the drug.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that just what it is?

[SPEAKER_02]: No.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's God's design.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's so, that's beautiful.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's how he takes your testimony.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_02]: And like, there's no testimony without the test.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: You got to have the test first.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you had the test.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now it's a testimony for God to use.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, anyway, I wasn't even planning on coming to the first day.

[SPEAKER_02]: Glad you did.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes, most definitely.

[SPEAKER_00]: I had told people, well, following a revival around this kind of, your dissertation feelings and it's not.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't understand, and I was very judgmental towards it, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Very, you just been hurt by religion, and I didn't want anything to do with that part of it, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: And, like not that I wasn't a Christian or didn't love the word.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you guys are not religious at all, so they need a generator to run the coffee pot and then I had the generator and they get it and so they're like, hey, could you bring it and I was like, okay, fine, you know, I get there carrying the generator and I see these long lines of people and I said,

[SPEAKER_00]: immediately went back to being negative.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is done.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why is everybody here for this lady?

[SPEAKER_00]: And the Lord stopped me, said, well, the crowds came for Jesus and said, and I was like, it almost like corrected me from like, you need to quit being negative.

[SPEAKER_00]: And once I got in there, started serving coffee and cookies, like being with the crowd, getting to use my EMT skills.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in my, like, I just went to that place of like, oh, this is amazing, just feeling the presence of God, you know, seeing the long lines of people and nobody's on their phone, nobody's complaining, there's just peace.

[SPEAKER_02]: That was a beat, by the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't like, but you're good.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of my money, these.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so it was just amazing to be there and be a part of that, you know, and so the next day we came back and we're serving coffee and Christy, she was your salvation of Eve.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, she was salvation.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm over on the table, like kind of behind everything and a lot of my family is on the bank just watching, you know, and my was funny, I sat there like serving coffee in my brother and mom, he's been like my mentor growing up.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was there every day teaching me like the skills I needed you know, he's actually kind of who inspired me to join the first response stuff because he really he's a paid firefighter Yeah, super like he's one that he's like cutting dry kind of like Michael cold not gonna he's not gonna fake a spiritual experience Yeah, so he comes up there and he's taking off all of his stuff and Adam is pockets and I was like, what are you doing he said I'm getting baptized

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, it's like, okay, he's sorry.

[SPEAKER_00]: You coming?

[SPEAKER_00]: I said no.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so he's like, okay, well, I didn't encourage you to come.

[SPEAKER_00]: He goes to the water.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, well, if they're going, then I'm going.

[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: Christie had called every, all of our family pretty well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody on the bank that was our family.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's other people sitting on the bank, but she's like, you come in here, you come in here.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're getting baptized and getting baptized as a family, you know, going through.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've been going through a lot as a family, like just false accusations, false imprisonments, stuff like that, and to see shit, so there were two people from our family getting in line to be baptized and once they got there.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're a name, joy and hope we're getting baptized, joy and hope is who brought us into the water, and so basically the spiritual significance of that God is restoring our joy and hope and connecting our like there's there was a lot of walls broken down because we've had

[SPEAKER_00]: like our ministry has been through the fire together and so we're already close by having that baptism together like just brought us even more close you know brought the unity together you know it's just like you know I see people people from the family like they were different people you know and I think that was a big deal for the baptism as for me was more

[SPEAKER_00]: Like it it was good to do as a family.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was for everybody else, you know, as for you too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and I had when you prayed over me, you prayed a specific prayer that really touched me.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was what I needed at the time, you know, that prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't remember it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Shame and condemnation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, just you tend to fall back into things if you just, you get stagnant, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot of things else falling back into.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you prayed over me, I was like, oh,

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, God doesn't condemn me in that and I can walk forward, not do it anymore.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, shout out.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: No condemnation in Jesus Christ's name.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know now in the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: I won't remember what I pray a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes I will sometimes I won't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, all of those prayers were dead on everybody.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I hear, that just the vessel that I like the Lord is the Lord speaking through me and I keep trying to explain that to people but you don't know to your in the water and you've got to experience it now.

[SPEAKER_02]: So but we're getting to that.

[SPEAKER_02]: We've got to get to the revival because it's but first we'll finish with with Oklahoma.

[SPEAKER_02]: So at this point you didn't know anything about me or like other than me praying and baptizing you.

[SPEAKER_02]: you didn't know about a revival other than that experience that you had.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's probably oh well they've moved on now.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like they're they're moving on to the next one now.

[SPEAKER_02]: So what fired you to come to Indiana?

[SPEAKER_00]: So there's multiple reasons, one of them was, I was the EMT, I had my EMT license and hadn't been able to get a full-time department, I was a volunteer firefighter, so I got to use those skills a little bit, so that was one of the big things I wanted to join the revival and you saw the crowd trying to, like, I can help.

[SPEAKER_00]: and kind of be like Alan was, you know, like he's he's the security guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to be the medical guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, also I've had a missionary calling on my life for a long time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Since you were born, since you were born in the womb, John Wayne.

[SPEAKER_00]: Before I was born.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, that's right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I've walked in that in stages, you know, but I felt like, wow, like this is a way I could actually go and be a missionary.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, serve.

[SPEAKER_00]: So like, just bringing in, like, from where I'm that, go into the revivals could also bring that into it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so those were, you know, the two main things that brought me to, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: to Indiana.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was going to go by myself, have a med bag, and waters, and pass out waters, and give medical medical aid to those who needed it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And a couple of my family members, they're like, yeah, we're going to.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so we brought, we brought all sorts of drinks, and medical stuff, and you know, just had the, you know, we wanted to serve it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, we could, you know,

[SPEAKER_02]: We had a small technical difficulty there, but we brushed over it, it's fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: So where was the app in Indiana?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so we set up a tent.

[SPEAKER_00]: So first thing, there are no hotel.

[SPEAKER_00]: We had a hotel booked and we for somebody forgot to check it in.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so we were crammed into this tiny room in the so-toe.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think we bought air mattresses and we're like all around this room as a

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like full of us crammed in this one room, tiny bathroom, and then we couldn't stay there for the full time.

[SPEAKER_00]: We had to move to a different room at the same hotel, and so it was just like a lot of cramming a lot about what we were there, you know, as missionaries, and we were working.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Was it the village in?

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's right off of that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we, so we can't, we came, we're enjoying ourselves.

[SPEAKER_00]: Especially me, I was enjoying, you know, give it, I love people.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I love giving out water, giving out coffee and drums.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just pouring out, you know, and I didn't know really anything like I didn't see you very often.

[SPEAKER_00]: If I see you you're being moved from one place to the next because people would crowd you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So my, like my motor was pure in like, I was just there because I love the people.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Me too.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that was like the first day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you want me to tell about the second day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's so funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I second day, we're getting all of our tents set up right before the revival.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I see you over there.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's Kayla.

[SPEAKER_00]: You come walking up to me and I'm like, oh, oh, like I might get a give her a coffee or a water or something.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be exciting, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: And you came up to me, like interviews yourself, you're like, um.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we're down and I didn't understand how all of this works, like all of the logistics of it and stuff like you don't just go and ask people to be on the wall.

[SPEAKER_02]: Not at all, ever.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Only a few people in this entire ministry have I ever done that too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and so I didn't understand like just being simple, you know, and you came up and you're like hey, so we're down a few guys and we're wondering if you can help us in the water and I was like, well, yeah, I can help in the water, like, make sure it's okay with, with, uh, for your width and I was like, oh, yeah, that'd be fine.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, you can go ahead.

[SPEAKER_02]: I called your wife.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I go ahead.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you said, I didn't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: I made assumptions.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and so, yeah, I asked me my foot size and I told you, and you're like, I've got a pair of weight as that'll work.

[SPEAKER_00]: Inside.

[SPEAKER_00]: You went on, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: And so Kaylee was helping me set up with everything, and I got those weighters on their sizes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, well, I didn't know I thought maybe you had like a bunch of weighters in there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know you just had one pair.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, we had, well, I bring several pairs that then people end up taking them if they're, if they're waders break or something.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I did have your size, but then when I got in the trailer, the only size I had was like, my size.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, no, but then I'm like, well, it would be better than nothing, but I felt so bad when I didn't think about the shoes size.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was fun in the fact, so I was like trying to figure that out.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I went to Kaylee and I said, hey, these are a little bit too small.

[SPEAKER_00]: In Kaylee is like, well, I was like, do you have any more?

[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, nope, that's all we got.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was like cool.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I put them on, made them work.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was, I got to be with Owen the first time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you did.

[SPEAKER_00]: Very, very.

[SPEAKER_00]: the kindness of off of that man is amazing.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_00]: We got, I think the big one that stood out to me was the Chinese couple.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: The family, they came from Beijing, China.

[SPEAKER_00]: So funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: Beijing and back was content.

[SPEAKER_00]: They do not mix very well.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't under any other hat all except Jesus.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was right beside y'all, so I got to hear everything, you know, and the little boy from that family, I mean they traveled so far, and the little boy from that family, like he kept looking over at me and I would like to add a little break between people coming and I was like, I'm just going to go say hey to this family, because I could tell the kept glancing over, you know, saw whenever they were there and I was like, hey, they just were so kind, and the little boy was like, oh, you're baptizing me.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, no, I was like, Elwood's baptizing you.

[SPEAKER_02]: You got Elwood over here, and he's like, please, and I was like, oh, I was like, well, I can baptize you, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: Cause I'm already right here, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: And I like, it's families all looking, and they're like crying and everything too.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, well, I'm gonna baptize this kid right now, if you know, but I was just coming to say hello to all of you.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was so funny.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we're just smiling as big as he could possibly smile.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so I baptized the kid.

[SPEAKER_02]: And after I baptized him, they were coming up.

[SPEAKER_02]: Every one of them was just like, and their hands in the air just praising Jesus.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then the kid was praising Jesus.

[SPEAKER_02]: And his demeanor was so beautiful.

[SPEAKER_02]: But anyways.

[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, looked over at y'all and I could see Elwood and his big old smile just in the middle of of these people that came from Beijing, China, and you as well, like you, you know, your country, we're country folk, all of us are country.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought to myself, I'm like, I wonder if they understand each other at all.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's so funny that Elwood tells us, you know, the story afterwards.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, every time I said Jesus, they would say amen.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I just said, Jesus, a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: With that was so cool that you got to be a part of that.

[SPEAKER_00]: yeah it was it was a beautiful experience and it was so good I was with that first day you know just understanding like there's a lot of pain in the water that you feel yeah not only emotionally but physically and so I would get out to preach or you know mingle with the crowd I was a free Roman chicken you know what he wants so it was nice to be like get out of the water like have

[SPEAKER_00]: more breaks without one, you know, just to kind of warm me into it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Especially with those waiters, we're a little bit small.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't fill them as bad as I probably should have.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, they were, they were my least favorite waiters, and I felt so bad even given them any body, but just what we had, do you know, and it is better than the cold.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a cold to get to you after a while.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you're staying in there for, you know, we know now, the 10, 12 hours, you know, then after a little while, you don't have waiters, oh, man, you're to the ball.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I felt bad though after but you know so at night everything got dark and that's when we get the coldest obviously because it's it's it's proof it's our dig deep moments.

[SPEAKER_02]: The dig deep is is you know you you fight fleshly a lot but when you dig deep and you find your spirit can overcome anything of the flesh then it's so anyways our dig deep moment came.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, whenever you're new and you're coming in, usually people like I mean that work ethic like that comes straight from Jesus because like you, you have to plant your feet.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so I look over at y'all, you know, and we get done and it's dark and you know, it's we should be so tired and just like

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, running out of that water and all of us stayed in the water like all of us stayed in the water like after all the people had left We stayed in the water and we fellowshiped and we loved on each other and we hugged each other Yeah, and I remember hugging you.

[SPEAKER_02]: I came up and I hugged you and Elwood was talking about that food You're trying to get him to pronounce

[SPEAKER_02]: whatever food it was he couldn't pronounce the food.

[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember that?

[SPEAKER_02]: No, oh man, it was the food It was so sort of pasta and he kept trying to pronounce the pasta's name and so you were kind of like giving him a hard time with that Just you know y'all had bonded at this point.

[SPEAKER_02]: You were you were his partner throughout the day So you got to know him.

[SPEAKER_02]: He got to know you but anyways, you were you were trying to explain to him the name of the pasta

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I walked up and I was so impressed.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was so impressed.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, you stood here in a size two small waiters, which they hurt anyway, you know, but you're in a size two small, you never complained.

[SPEAKER_02]: You smiled the whole time.

[SPEAKER_02]: Every time I looked at you, you would be smiling.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, man, he is really in his element.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he's where God has put him.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's how you came to be in the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't realize, like, I did not realize yet the rest of your calling.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like this is what I've seen and I've seen a man that was dedicated, that was a vessel for the Lord that looked really awesome in a cow boy had out there.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, we got a cow we had out here on our team.

[SPEAKER_02]: I am with it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I just I've seen you in the water from that point on because that's where God introduced you to it.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's very rare for someone to come in this ministry and be introduced straight to the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, usually it's a land job, usually, you know, we're trying to figure out if they can pray, and then we're trying to teach them how to pray, then we're trying to teach them all the things before it's a discipleship, you know, teaching.

[SPEAKER_02]: But you came in on my guy, he's in the water, like he's already in, you know, let's put him back in.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so from Indiana, you know, we move on, and I believe I reached out to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we got connected.

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, so you had commented on my posts.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to post about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you had commented on it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And being a simple monitor as I was, you said something about, well, we'll get you a better pair of winners.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, so I just commented on that post to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And my mom and sisters, like, don't you realize, like, you need to, like,

[SPEAKER_00]: like did you say a thousand was just calm it so I was like well, maybe I should actually reach out so so I privately message you and that's how we kind of got connected.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to mention Chass when I was in Indiana the Chass comes up to me and that you know Chass looks intimidating stuff like he comes up to me and says he gives me this big hug and said oh this love you and just like that

[SPEAKER_00]: I felt woke as soon as I was in the water, I felt welcome by the team, like I was part of the family.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you was from the very moment, like we know, we know we're like, all right, this person can be used by God and we're going to do everything we can to help them fulfill whatever it is that God's got for their lives, you know, to be able to serve.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that was you right away and Chaz, Chaz does look intimidating because we we've been on it so long.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and we've been on it so long like we're, you know, he's my right hand man like he's supposed to.

[SPEAKER_02]: But it is so funny at how many team members just now start coming out to tell me these things.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I never see it, you know, obviously he's a teddy bear.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's a very very kind and loving person.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like he shows his love like a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so for him hugging you and saying that I could see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I wasn't scared of him for a very beginning.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just, you know, it wasn't a timid age to me, because he was like, it showed that I was family as soon as I was in the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's got his glasses on.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is head down most of the time, but that's beautiful that he made you feel warm.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's, I mean, this is what we're about.

[SPEAKER_02]: family like now you know this because you know when you when you become a part of this ministry you are family to us and those who stay you know those who were supposed to be a part of the family obviously people come in from the outside you know that we maybe didn't invite back or whatever may happen but the ones that we invite back in the ones that are supposed to be part of this family they are they are closer than blood.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, and so then we move on from Indiana.

[SPEAKER_02]: Where do we go next?

[SPEAKER_00]: Washington.

[SPEAKER_02]: Washington.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's a big hole.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like you could have been like, you know what, this this is a little far, but instead you showed up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if it wouldn't have been for you reaching out and I felt like it was the Lord like that because the spiritual battles there every time And we were supposed to go like kind of bring a group again and go and everybody backed out.

[SPEAKER_00]: I had to get a flight and I was like and it was not their fault, you know, but

[SPEAKER_00]: It just showed me like you have to, if you're going to be part of this battle, you have to determine your heart and it goes back to the work ethic thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have to, you got to be there wherever you're at, you've got to.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the biggest thing for any other revivals I've went through.

[SPEAKER_00]: is that determination.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out of here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I love that because that's well, that's that's that's the battle.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, that's the battle because the unwavering part, if you get in any sort, this is actually really good for any part of your life that you can use this.

[SPEAKER_02]: But

[SPEAKER_02]: Unwavering like if you have unwavering faith then the enemy can't come against you with it But if you are wavering at all, that's the devil's playground if you start wavering with like, oh I don't really want to go.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is too far.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I shouldn't go this hurts Then the enemy's gonna come right in like that's that's the unwavering faith is the key component to showing up And so you did you showed up and I'm ever seeing you know like John Wayne

[SPEAKER_02]: Which actually, I will briefly tell you about that story with your name, because I think you know the story too of the comment of the person that had left to comment about John Wayne.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not you, John Wayne, but John Wayne was Virginia.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so there was a lady.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, first, I started calling you John Wayne because I heard your name is just myself too as John Wayne.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did you?

[SPEAKER_02]: When I first shook your head.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I said, I'm John Wayne and I don't do that to everyone.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just everyone's well.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I feel like it or just, I feel like I should say it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you're just myself as that and that was it for me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, it's John Wayne, but then other people started just calling you John, I was like, no, no, no, no, that's John Wayne, but other people would be like, oh, hey, John, I'm like, no, don't wait.

[SPEAKER_02]: So even on our schedules, John Wayne, like it was John Wayne, but that's not your last name.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's your middle name.

[SPEAKER_02]: but your last name's freest.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, it was so funny because people like, his last name's freest you.

[SPEAKER_02]: But every good of this is so cool.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, your whole name.

[SPEAKER_02]: But John Lane is always like, that's, that's who you are to me.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're John Lane.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, from the moment that I met you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now it makes sense for you to have said it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I had ever heard someone say your name, John Lane.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, no way this is your name.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's a nickname.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, but it makes sense for you to have directly told me because it's stuck so quick and it's like, that's his name.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: But like I said sometimes you would introduce yourself as John because I heard you talking to other team members, and they were like, oh John, and I was like, who's John?

[SPEAKER_00]: I always introduced myself as John right now.

[SPEAKER_02]: Really, yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: But for the longest time, I was like, they would say John and I was just like, John Lane.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's stuck and I'm glad that it stuck with the whole team, and that's so cool you tell everybody.

[SPEAKER_02]: So then we get to, well, Washington was Washington was big, it was beautiful, it was awesome.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so the name story, if we get to West Virginia, and someone comes in the water, did you hear this comment and stuff like that?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I screenshot it, I was like, I am sending this.

[SPEAKER_02]: But someone came in the water and she was struggling with, like, I hope that Jesus sees me, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: And so obviously sometimes people come in the water and they're expecting to get me or they want to.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I try so hard to be like, no, but listen.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've trained all these vessels like they are a replication like they're exactly like like the Bible says it with Paul he says imitate me as I am to take Christ and I'm like that's that's what they're doing but I understand because I've you know they've I've taught I've taught most of these people for four years so they've got a bond with me and so sometimes people come in the water and they're like oh it's not her but they're on like wait trust trust trust

[SPEAKER_02]: But anyways this lady comes in the water and she said that she was like kind of battle in a little bit and then you said your name Yeah, and she said as soon as the young man said my name is John Wayne She said I busted out on tears and she said because my son who passed away His name was John Wayne and she said I never hear that name Yeah, and she's like I knew in that moment that God had sent me there to the right person

[SPEAKER_02]: And so that testimony impacted me very strongly because I am a firm believer that people go to their supposed to, that the line is strategically placed by God and that is it's house always been.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so the fact that she, you know, had that testimony was so, there's a part of that story.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you, you know it, but her son's name was Jonathan Wayne.

[SPEAKER_00]: and my name is actually Jonathan Wayne.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so it was just like, she didn't even know, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just cool to see like so many testimonies like that.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Third one, we start growing in numbers, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: So Washington was a little less for us, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like we got back to the thousand range again where it was just like, oh, a thousand instead of like, I can't remember the exact numbers of Indiana.

[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was 2000.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel like it was around there.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Indiana was 2,200 in something, 2,200.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we had climbed up and then we went back down to like 1,000 because we were first time West Coast.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it was our first time out that way, which it was beautiful.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: We got back to, you know, the, the, where do we go West Virginia, and it was like, okay, people are coming.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so we baptized, that was a record record for us at that time.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so West Virginia comes around and it's like, so I never questioned where you were at, like I never questioned, but that was the first time, like I said in the beginning of this, where I looked at you and needed an EMT, like I looked at you, and there was a moment I was like, oh, and I sent you, you know, to the, and so from then it was planted in my head, that was the

[SPEAKER_02]: He's trained for something else and it just didn't don't on me because you were doing so good in the water You were doing so good in the water, but then it was it would finally hit, you know, obviously You know Texas did we have Texas after that one or yeah Texas was after you were still in the water But while we were in Texas they're came a critical moment

[SPEAKER_02]: Where God used you so lightly, and I'll just I will tell it like it is because I know I joked around and I was like He was like Doctor do little he grabbed his bag and he ran through the aisle Because it was it was so cool to watch you in action like I had not seen that side of you yet.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah

[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, I didn't know I didn't know it was there.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't even think you know this part, but I come out on break and, you know, on my break, I'm revising the plants.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm looking at everything and I'm revising plants.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm moving things around because I have to.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, sometimes we would be in the water till one, two A.M.

[SPEAKER_02]: If I don't move things around.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't usually pull people out of the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: Usually I'm putting people in the water.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: But at this point, I'm looking at a schedule there like we need John Wayne and Land.

[SPEAKER_02]: and so we're sitting there, we're talking it through, we're all literally sitting in the floor and like, I know you're in the water and I'm like, okay, let's just see how it goes.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, pull them out, pull them out of the water and I put somebody in your place and I was like, pull them out and let's see.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is part of it all because we were in the kitchen.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so like my little cabin that I was in overlooks the crowd, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know where you were at or what happened, but after you got out of your waiters, you grabbed your bag and there was an emergency.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was a dehydration.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you grabbed your bag and you were so fast that it was before the Parameda Scott there.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like they were not over there yet, to that person.

[SPEAKER_02]: But then they came and assisted you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like they came because you were there, and I don't know if you waved them down or what happened, but however, they end up coming to you.

[SPEAKER_02]: When you was in that moment.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like I was standing there looking at it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like,

[SPEAKER_02]: That's where he's supposed to be.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I can't believe I got it wrong because I don't get those, you know, usually.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I know because you needed, there was things that you learned in that water that now are part of your skill set that you're using here.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I knew that it was still right the way it was supposed to be.

[SPEAKER_02]: But that was an aha moment for me.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, Lord, I cannot believe this.

[SPEAKER_02]: I cannot believe I didn't see, you know, these skill, this skill set.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so he knew, you know, but I still hadn't seen it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But when I saw it firsthand, I was like,

[SPEAKER_02]: God raised him up for this and so there you go becoming our revival EMT to this point we've never needed one we've never had one because like I fervently pray obviously for protection over the whole land and for all the people and we've never had an incident like we had never had to call an ambulance we had never had an incident of any kind until West Virginia when we had one lady with the seizure but before that we never had any sort of

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean just to be truthful like that's usually any it's not a medical crisis like it's usually But that lady was having a medical crisis and it was like whoa like that's Which actually we you know we pray to her as well, but it's still there's lots of moments where I started to see okay this crowd is not small anymore like in Texas we filled up three lawns There was six to seven thousand people

[SPEAKER_02]: on the land yeah that came on the land and i'm like okay so safety precaution wise it would be smart if we were able to have an empty if we were able to have somebody that could get ahead of crisis situations you know and like the moment with me like i didn't think about dehydration at all like i was just like well everybody's gonna be prepared for Texas heat because this Texas you know from Texas are good

[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, but then we have people from other countries like they don't know what Texas is like Yeah, they're flying in from all over the world and I'm like, they probably don't even check the weather And so it really dawned on me on like, okay, we have people coming that are not not prepared You know, so we have to be prepared for them.

[SPEAKER_02]: We have to make sure that we are

[SPEAKER_02]: telling them to be hydrated and having liquid IV and things like that just in case and being able to get the electrolytes to them and you know it was it was the moments to me that I had opened up to like oh because in my mind so far I'm like well don't get in the water and then we'll everything will be gone but there's still I don't want them to suffer in the line I got to want them to suffer at all and so when I saw you in your element God's like he's

[SPEAKER_00]: that's awesome.

[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I had always brought my medical bag.

[SPEAKER_00]: Did you?

[SPEAKER_00]: With that, with that dream and my heart, you know, wanting to, you know, that's what I want to do when I started.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to do whatever I was told to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I got a lot of healing in West Virginia, especially just a lot of healing from stuff in myself and then also like, you're back?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my, my, my back.

[SPEAKER_00]: And, um,

[SPEAKER_00]: a lot of, like, I think for being in the water, like, that, um, spiritual authority was grown.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can switch from, I'm going to take care of your medical emergency, too.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to pray over this.

[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, being able to differentiate, and like, I'm always going to get medical care, but I can also snap out, like, people will see a red shirt and they're coming to prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll come for prayer, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: And so being able to snap into the spirit snap out of it is like and I felt like that in the water I felt like that yeah, but now it's fast pace now.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's like flash in the water.

[SPEAKER_02]: You had to be patient in way each person But now you're like you know, yeah, and it's just it's where I'm supposed to be.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know I know that without a shadow of a doubt and I felt in Texas Like I was getting a little bit Discontented in the water.

[SPEAKER_00]: I felt it

[SPEAKER_00]: and I kept thinking about my EMG job at home and that's when Texas happened.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: So many, there's so many like testimonies from even the stuff that happened there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you want me to go into that or you're going to, yeah, whatever it wants to get out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, like I mean we we had paramedics praying over people telling people to pray I had a law enforcement officer asked me to pray for him.

[SPEAKER_00]: He he modicamed there to shut the Shut the I know down.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know I had county judges tell us thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you for being here Like there was so much like as a first responder I know these guys most of them are hardened by the things that they see yeah and not there

[SPEAKER_02]: like that they're being impacted to me like blesses me like that's right big time they stepped on that revival ground and it changes everyone as soon as you come into that environment where the Holy Spirit is so so present it changes you like you may have come for a job to shut us down or to say something or to whatever it may be but they found themselves crying they found themselves praying they found themselves in need yeah

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the ones that came to help needed help, you know, even though they were there to help, too.

[SPEAKER_02]: But it was so beautiful to watch.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I heard you prayed over one guy.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he came back and got baptized.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's awesome.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it was like, it was, I don't know if he was a sheriff or, or what he was.

[SPEAKER_02]: But whatever, it was something in the, you know, the field.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's so beautiful to see there was so much impact.

[SPEAKER_00]: So people that went to the hospital brought family members back to their lives and they got saved.

[SPEAKER_01]: They did.

[SPEAKER_00]: That the one big story that sticks out to me, just, you know, using the skills and the spiritual side together.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: The paramedic, we had a great paramedic supervisor that showed up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he was just, he was on top of it, so it made it easy to follow him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's true.

[SPEAKER_00]: But their lady comes in.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's shaking from the hydration.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, she's like bad shaking.

[SPEAKER_00]: he's like stop you need to stop and you need to pray go into your go into your spiritual place and pray yeah she she could start closer I start praying she stopped shaking he gets IV in he's working on her and she stops the doctor husband as she starts shaking violently again when he says no man you need to pray oh well she started praying he gets she was good yeah it was just so cool to see like

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a paramedic.

[SPEAKER_00]: He sees a lot of stuff and he's not only telling people to pray, but he's praying over them.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was so many testimonies.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So.

[SPEAKER_02]: I am so thankful.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, God raised you up, obviously.

[SPEAKER_02]: He trained you for different things, but now you are being able to be used for specifically what you were created to do.

[SPEAKER_02]: and it's just there's nothing more fulfilling than being able to do what God created you to do you know and to be able to serve in this capacity and so our last one you were the revival EMT for the first time actual because like Texas was like oh

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was official now.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it was so smooth.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was so smooth.

[SPEAKER_02]: I never even had to worry or hear about a medical emergency.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like you, you had it all.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like you had everything covered.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was calm.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was peaceful.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it just, it reaffirmed.

[SPEAKER_02]: God will always raise up who needs to be.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like he will always send people to this revival.

[SPEAKER_02]: and use them for their skills, like whatever it is, and then they will get to serve Jesus at that capacity.

[SPEAKER_02]: And all these people that you're helping, like every single person you pray over that you care about, that you give hydration to whatever you do, it is in service to the Lord.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is in service to His people, which is in service to Him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and like being...

[SPEAKER_00]: Being able to experience the water brings it where like I would love somebody to be like Hey, man, you're doing good.

[SPEAKER_00]: Keep it up.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a water here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some got me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like just you know like people don't understand the like there is Payton rule.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they got no idea.

[SPEAKER_00]: They have no idea and just like I'm glad I got that experience because I have an idea I know the pain that people are going through like at that night that night

[SPEAKER_00]: at the very ends like when the line was shrinking I was like guys you're almost there when up to every person you're almost there.

[SPEAKER_02]: Even me.

[SPEAKER_02]: Even me.

[SPEAKER_02]: You were waiting when I came out you were there and you said something you're like Harry don't are you cold look you know you were just concerned you were just like how cold are you well actually you knew I was cold because I'm sure they they came and got you cold.

[SPEAKER_00]: No I was there passing out water and I will stand there kind of next to Walt and Chaz came out like when we were done because she's she's cold and I was like

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just kick that eating in the blood, like guys just felt bad for you, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: Just because I know that pain, and because of knowing that, like that experience, I can do what God calls me to do and still know that I have that experience so I can be like, hey, I don't want your feeling, let me help you the best way I can, you know, what does it mean for me?

[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's a hug, whether it's a piece of gum, or whether it's a water bottle, or a word of encouragement, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like living that like what God created me to do is I wouldn't trade my life for nobody's like I love it You don't think about the things of the world you know, yeah, I never thought about money Yeah, the day of the week like you're just everything does not matter when you're in that place, you know, and so I'm very thankful to be here

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thankful.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very thankful that God led you here because it's our lives are better with you in it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so our tons of people, you know, tons of people that come to these revivals, like they're going to be able to be benefited and be blessed because you're there.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just it's exactly like you said, like it is being raised up and being trained up and your testimony.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's a lot of things in your past, but now look at it.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, not your will be done, but his will.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's being done.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is being done through you.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's just excites me.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's pumps me up.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, thank you for your service and all of your capacity, like all of your services.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we don't know we're going for 26.

[SPEAKER_02]: No idea.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea.

[SPEAKER_02]: I keep saying everyone, and they think we know, though.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, no, like, oh, just give us a hint.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, we don't even have hints ourselves.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's whenever God says go here.

[SPEAKER_00]: 26 is like black.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is completely blank all the way.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's, you know, I've prayed on a few places.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got a few places that I'm looking at, but nothing affirmative.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's been nothing like go, you know?

[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't care where it would be.

[SPEAKER_02]: If God said go to South Africa, I'll go to South Africa.

[SPEAKER_02]: If he says go to, you know, Maine, I would go to Maine.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like wherever he tells us to go, that's where we'll go.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm along for the ride, too.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think so many people think that I'm like, I'm not in control.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, God's in control.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like he tells me what to do.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to be a beautiful future that God's got so many people that we can help that we can serve, and it's going to be good.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you for being a part of it.
