It's time for the Champions in Christ broadcast

with Rhonda Harrison on 1017 Bay FM Good morning

and welcome to Champions in Christ. We're so

glad you joined us This is the day the Lord has

made and we will rejoice and be glad in it Hallelujah,

you know God is good and His Word is good news

and he wants to bring that good news to you this

morning It's a beautiful day out, irregardless

of what the weather is. Why? Because we have

a new day in Christ. We have a new day to make

a difference on the earth for Him. And that's

what it's all about. He loves you today. He has

nothing but good thoughts of you today, no matter

where you are, no matter what you're doing, no

matter what you did last night. If you were even

in a drunken stupor last night, doesn't change

his love for you. doesn't change his grace that's

offered to you. And we're going to read today

a little bit in the Word of God about that beautiful

grace and that love of God. We're going to start

in John chapter 8. And Jesus was on the Mount

John 8 · chapter mention

of Olives and early in the morning he came and

again into the temple and all the people came

unto him and he sat down and he taught them and

the scribes and the Pharisees brought into him

a woman taken in adultery and when they had set

her in the midst they said unto him master this

woman was taken in the in adultery in the very

act. Wow you know here Jesus says he's just in

the temple teaching the word of God and here

comes the scribes and the Pharisees which were

the religious leaders of the day and they grab

a woman and throw him throw her down in front

of him. telling him in front of everyone this

woman was taken in the very act of adultery and

they continued the Pharisee said and now Moses

in the law commanded us that such should be stoned

what do you say and they said tempting him that

they may have that they may be able to accuse

them but Jesus stooped down and with his finger

he wrote in the ground as though he didn't hear

him And so when they continued asking him, he

lifted himself up and said to him, he that is

without sin, let him cast the first stone. You

know, the thing is, is while they were trying

to catch Jesus, they didn't care about this woman.

They were the religious leaders of the land.

What? They didn't care? No. Why? Because they

had the outward appearance. of someone caring,

but their heart was far from God. You know, they

did lip service to God. But Jesus, in the midst

of all of this, He bows down to her level. And

that's what He'll do to each of us today. If

we're in sin and we need Him, whether you're

caught in the very act or whether it's still

hidden from everyone else and only you know,

if you call on Him, He'll meet you right where

you're at. He will bow down right where you're

at if you humble yourself and that's what happened.

Jesus was more concerned. His heart was for the

woman. He wasn't worried about them trying to

trick him. Don't worry if people are trying to

throw you under the bus. Don't worry about it.

Give it to God. He'll take care of it just like

right here. So he stooped down So each one, and

probably the eldest left first because when you

have a little bit of age on you, whether it's

30, 40, 50 or on, you have much more experience.

You've been through more tests and trials. You

know about your sin. You've sinned a lot more

at that stage in your life. And you go, well,

I'm not really sinning. Maybe you think of sin

as a bad, you know, adultery or murder or something

of that nature, but a lie is sin. covetedness

wanting something someone else has that's a sin

so we want to always come before the Lord in

a humble way and he'll set us free and he won't

judge you he doesn't judge you he's a righteous

judge he judge no man but he speaks truth and

he wants us to obey truth And so when Jesus lifted

up himself and he saw none but the woman, he

said, woman, where are your accusers? Does no

man condemn you? And she said, no, Lord. She

said, neither do I condemn you. I'm sorry. He

said, neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no

more. He didn't ask her about her sin. He didn't

give her a book full of information to go and

do. He just said, Go and sin no more. I don't

condemn you." And He won't condemn you in your

sin. He came to save you from sin. He didn't

come to condemn you in your sin. You know, I

thank God for His forgiveness, His freedom. Where

the Spirit of the Lord is, there's freedom. There's

freedom for you today. Right now, if you're hearing

my voice and you're wanting to be free, you're

tired of sin. You're tired of doing drugs. You're

tired of watching pornography You're tired, but

you keep being drawn back in that's being drawn

of your own lust. You have to make the choice

You have to say God help Forgive me wash me and

he'll do it right now and you'll be free and

your life will be full of his goodness You know,

he wants us to be like little children. You know,

I have four grandchildren and they are the most

wonderful treasure from heaven. And I thank God

for them, but their innocence and their love

for God at such a young age and the purity of

their heart and the way they believe so simple,

that's the way God wants us always to believe.

He wants us always to be there. He wants us always

to be there. Just like a little child, if we

come as a little child with that childlike faith,

Just like when your dad used to go to work and

he said, I'll be back soon. Or you asked your

mom, where's dad? He's at work. You just trusted

her. And then he came back home. Maybe you didn't

have a mom or dad. Maybe you had to trust someone

else. That's okay. But I'll tell you who you

can trust more than anyone. And that's Jesus.

That's Jesus. You know the joys in life. God

wants you to be full of joy. There's so many

joys the joys in life are to bless you You know,

the Bible says Jesus said I am the way the truth

and the life. He's your way out He's your way

into victory He's your truth. He's the only living

truth. There is no one else By which you can

be saved from death hell in the grave. There

is no one else by which can bless you and is

a living God. You know, everyone else is still

in the tomb. All the dust from Buddha, Allah,

all the other false gods people believe in. There's

still dust in their grave, but guess what? There's

no dust in Jesus's grave. Why? Because he rose

again. Hallelujah. He rose again for you and

he rose again for me. And we thank God for it.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. So as

we continue, you know, Jesus said, I am the light

of the world and he that follows me will not

walk in darkness, but will have the light of

life. That's right folks, the light of life.

Your life can be filled with joy. You can have

joy in the midst of the storm. Why? Because he

loves you. Because he wants you to be filled

with joy. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Hallelujah. You know Jesus said in verse 31 He

said to the Jews who believed on him if you continue

in my word You are my disciple indeed and you

will know the truth and the truth will make you

free the truth God's truth is the only thing

that can make you free when you believe it when

you receive it and when you act on it and you

know Just admit it and quit it and move on. You

know get out of that that slavery of sin That's

what sin is. You know Jesus said in verse 34

barely barely I say unto you whoever commits

sin is a servant to sin and The servant does

not abide in the house forever, but the son abides

if you are the son therefore shall you make I'm

sorry if the sun therefore shall make you free

you will be free indeed That's right. Don't be

a servant to sin. Don't be a slave to sin You

know God has bigger plans for you than you can

ever imagine Let's say you have a plan to be

a doctor And you've kind of been overtaken lately

and sin get out of it Admit it quit it get back

on that path to being the best doctor you can

be God will help you He is faithful He can help

you It doesn't matter if you want to be a teacher

and you don't have the finances God will help

you get to college God has ways that above your

ways and It's so exciting the life of God. There

is nothing more exciting than the life in Christ

Because God is faithful. He is so faithful and

true and So his word is true. So we need to seek

him. We need to seek his word. We need to remember

You know, he says in John that if we continue

in his word, we are his disciples His disciples

and the truth will make us free. It's not a lie.

It's the truth You know a lot of people have

a hard time believing the Bible. I don't know

why because God's been supernatural Ever since

the beginning of time ever since the beginning

of the earth the way he created Adam was supernatural

he lifted dust and he breathed into it and Adam

became a living being. Glory to God! If he can

breathe life into dust, what can he do with your

life and with mine? Guess what? If we give it

to him, he gave us free will. So we have the

choice. We have to choose. We have to choose

whether we want God to take over and lead us

and guide us or we want to. That's up to you.

We all have that choice, but I can tell you from

living a few years before I knew Christ to living

now in Christ There's no comparison life without

him is death But life with him is life everlasting

and it is so exciting There are stories and testimonies

that you will live through with Christ that you

can't live through in the natural because he

puts his super on your natural and it's exciting.

I don't care if it's healing you need, divine

health, finances, wisdom, love, peace. He has

it all. He has it all and he will help you. So

let's continue. Let's continue on with finding

out just how good God is. You know, He is the

door to eternal life. What is eternal life? That

means when we leave this earth, we're going to

heaven or hell. There is no in -between. Don't

be fooled. There is no in -between. But we can

choose to go to heaven just by receiving Christ

as our Savior. What? That's right. And we serve

Him? and we will go to heaven and we will live

eternally with him where there's no sickness,

no pain, no heartache, no devil from hell trying

to irritate you. But guess what? While we're

on earth, God's already given us all authority

over all the works of the enemy. That's what

the Bible says. So guess what? You will rule

and reign right here on earth with Jesus. If

you'll get in his word and let that word get

in you. God is our strength. He is our song.

He is our gift. Hallelujah. And when Jesus died

and rose again and He went to heaven, He sent

the Holy Spirit to be our help. The Holy Spirit,

the Paraclete, the one called alongside to help.

And He's here to help you and me. He's here to

strengthen you, to guide you, to bless you. Our

life will have tests it'll have trials the Bible

says that in this world you will have trouble

But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world

those Jesus talking. That's our God. That's our

Lord. He will make you strong Strong without

him we can do nothing but with him we can do

all things through Christ who strengthens us

He is the Lord our God and him only will we serve

You know, he's the bread of life. The Bible says

in John 6 35, Jesus said, I am the bread of life.

He that comes to me will never hunger. He that

believes on me will never thirst. What? That's

right. He'll provide for you. You don't have

to be poor. He became poor that you could become

rich. He doesn't want you riches to have you,

but he loves when his children are blessed. Why?

Because the gospel can be preached. It takes

money to preach the gospel. It takes money to

go on TV or on radio or on many of the outlets

or to even travel to preach the gospel to the

unreached places of the world. And God will bless.

He wants people to finance the kingdom of God.

He doesn't want it to come other ways. You know,

you're not going to find Lipton or Hershey or

Budweiser, none of them are going to come alongside

and say, hey, we want to sponsor the gospel.

Why? Because they just don't, they don't believe.

But those that believe sponsor the gospel. And

you know, anything you sow into God's kingdom,

you will reap a harvest. If you sow a seed, you

get a harvest. If you sow a seed of corn, you

don't just get an ear of corn, you get a stalk

of corn, which has lots of ears, which has lots

of seeds. God takes something, that little bit

you have and He'll multiply it if you sow it

into His kingdom. And there are many ministries

out there you can minister to. If you've been

blessed by Billy Graham ministry, sow into it.

If you've been blessed by ministries you see

on TV, sow into them. Sow a seed. You're not

sowing it to a man. You're sowing it to God.

God sees your heart and He will multiply that

seed. You know, they're responsible to do what's

right with it, but we aren't worried about it.

We sow and we let God multiply it back in our

lives. That's the goodness of God. The same way

the Bible says you reap what you sow. You sow

good seed, you reap good seed. You sow bad seed,

you got a bad harvest coming. You better pray

for his mercy and his mercy and grace will come.

He doesn't give us what we deserve. By sinning,

we deserve death. Eternal death not just death

on this earth, but through Christ He is grace

and His mercy, you know salvation is a free gift

You can't buy it It's free. You have to receive

it, but it costs Jesus his life Here on earth.

He laid down everything to give us that life.

Won't you receive him today? Won't you welcome

him in your in your heart and in your life? He

wants to help you so much He loves you so much.

He wants relationship with you. He wants to hear

from you. I don't care if you are five years

old or 105. It's still the same. It doesn't matter

what sin you've done. He still wants relationship

with you. He is your answer. He's the only answer

that can truly set you free. And he's the bread

of life just like we just read. And you won't

hunger and thirst. He meets our every need. According

to his riches and glory not according to our

bank account Not according to what we have in

this life He will provide for you the Bible says

he provides for the birds of the air for the

flat He provides water for the flowers and for

the grass to grow and it's burned up tomorrow

How much more will he provide for you his creation

that he loves so much? Child lift up your eyes.

That's where your help comes from you'll be strong

in him when you hit your knees with your hands

held high he will come he will come he loves

you so much he absolutely loves you i just thank

god i just thank god for him you know the bible

says no man can come to jesus except the father

which has him draws him and he will raise him

up in the last day. He's talking about you and

me. God is drawing you right now. If you're hearing

my voice, it's not by accident. It's not by accident.

He's drawing you by his Holy Spirit. He wants

relationship with you. He wants to bless your

socks off so you can give him glory. He loves

to give gifts to his children. We're going to

listen to a couple songs and we'll be right back

on the other side. And all of that fighting's

got you Down on your knees You're desperate for

change Desperate to know There's a light, still

alive Don't If you still love Yeah, the face

I keep pulling on says I ain't tired But these

tears stained eyes ain't lying Cause hard, nobody

told me life could be so hard A weary soul with

a worn out heart that's barely beating But every

time I get that feeling That's right. If you

have breath in your lungs, He's not done with

you. And you just hit your knees with your hands

held high. Why? Because Jesus said, He that believes

on me will have everlasting life. Everlasting

life. Just pray this prayer with me. Father God,

I come before you. I ask Jesus to come into my

heart. Fill my life with your goodness. Fill

me up with your Holy Spirit. I repent of my sin.

I choose you I'm gonna do a 180 in life Lord,

and I'm gonna live for you in Jesus name Amen,

if you prayed that prayer today God Just came

and filled your heart with himself The Holy Spirit

will help you though. He'll lead you and guide

you your life will never be the same It'll be
