It's time for the Champions in Christ broadcast

with Rhonda Harrison on 1017 Bay FM. Good morning

and welcome to Champions in Christ. We're so

glad you joined us today. This is the day the

Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad

in it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

for all his goodness, all his grace, his mercy,

his love, his unfailing love. We're going to

go in the scriptures today and we're going to

look in Ephesians chapter three. And this is

Paul talking to the church at Ephesus or the

Ephesians. And it starts in verse one. It says,

For this cause, I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus

Christ, for you, the Gentiles, If you heard of

the dispensation of the grace of God which was

given to me for you, how by revelation he may

known unto me the mystery, as I wrote before,

whereby when you read you may understand my knowledge

in the mystery of Christ, which as other ages

was not made known unto the sons of men, as it

is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets

by the Holy Spirit, that the Gentiles should

be fellow heirs of the same body and partakers

of his promise in Christ by the gospel. So what

is he saying here? He's saying that God has given

him the apostles and prophets that wrote the

word of God, revelation about the mystery of

Christ, the mystery of Christ, the indwelling,

the Holy Spirit, the power of his resurrection.

And so he's explaining that the Gentiles are

also fellow heirs who are Gentiles. They're everybody

that are not Jews. So we were Gentiles, but we've

been grafted in through the blood of the Lamb.

Praise God. Hallelujah. He continues on and let's

see verse. Seven wherefore I was made a minister

according to the gift of the grace of God given

unto me by the effectual working of his power.

That's right. You know the Bible in Mark, you

know, Jesus is telling all his disciples to go

out and preach the gospel and it's according

to the gift of grace in you. And everyone can

share the love and the power of God through their

own testimony. If God's done anything for you,

you can testify of his goodness. But when you've

been born again, that's the greatest miracle

of all because you've become a new creation in

Christ and old things are passed away. And it

goes on to say, so that is by the effectual working

of his power. and then we're going to drop down

and he says in verse 9 and to make all men see

what is the fellowship of the mystery the fellowship

with the Holy Spirit which from the beginning

of the world has been hidden God who created

all things by Jesus Christ so God Jesus Christ

and the Holy Ghost existed all before in heaven

before man was created. and all things were created

by them it says right here from the beginning

to the intent that now that that now unto principalities

powers and heavenly places might known by the

church the manifold wisdom of god you know god

wanted this wisdom given to us through revelation

of his word speaking into our spirit how does

it do that when you read when you read the word

of god and you allow the Holy Spirit. The Bible

says the Holy Spirit's our teacher. He's our

guide. He's the power of God unto salvation and

so we want to continually read the word faith

comes by hearing and hearing and hearing and

hearing and hearing and hearing. We don't hear

it once. We hear it daily build yourself up in

the most holy faith. You can read your word to

build your faith. You can pray in the spirit

to build your faith. Why you are a spirit? God

is a spirit and when you get born again, he puts

all that old stuff throws it in the sea of forgetfulness

and create you brand new in your spirit. Now

your mind is still your mind. And so we have

to renew our mind. The word says in the word

of God, right? But here he's talking about that

this wisdom, this revelation, this mystery is

now being made known in the New Covenant since

Christ died and rose again to the intent that

the principalities and powers in heavenly places

might be made known by the church in the manifold

wisdom of God. So the church through the wisdom

of God, because now the Bible says we are seated

in heavenly places. above principalities and

powers and rulers of darkness and wicked places

you know the Bible tells us that there are demonic

strongholds that there are demons there are evil

workings and it all came when when Satan was

cast out of heaven and he took a third of those

angels with him who became demons and so there

we do have an enemy And the Bible says we don't

wrestle against flesh and blood, but against

principalities, powers, wickedness in high places.

And so this is what he's talking about. Through

the revelation of God, we find out who we are

in Christ and that that same power that raised

Christ from the dead lives in us. Why wouldn't

we want to share it? Why wouldn't we want to

put the devil in his place? You can tell the

devil to get his hands off your family. if you're

born again, because all that power of God that

raised Christ from the dead lives in you. But

you have to know you have it. It's just like

if a policeman steps out to stop traffic, busy

traffic, and there's a red light, who are they?

Who are the cars going to obey? Well, if the

cop just steps out without his badge and without

his uniform and starts trying to stop traffic,

people might run him over. They could care less

in a busy city sometimes. But let's say He steps

out with his badge and in his uniform people

are going to listen. Why because he's been given

the authority to do what he's doing. Okay, same

way in the body of Christ. If we step out without

our authority and we don't know what we can get

our behinds kicked by the enemy because we don't

know that we have power over him. But when you

start reading the New Testament when you get

in the Word of God and you find out the power

that backs your words, you'll be careful what

you say. We need to watch what we say. The Bible

says life and death are in the power of the tongue.

Are you going to agree with the enemy and what

he wants to do to your family? He's out. The

Bible says the thief comes to steal keel and

destroy. But he has come, Jesus has come to have

life and life abundantly. Glory to God, glory

to God. So it goes on to say in verse 11, according

to the eternal purpose, which he purposed in

Christ Jesus, our Lord, in whom we have boldness

and access with confidence by faith of him. That's

right, we can have boldness and confidence by

faith when we come to God. It says in 13, wherefore

I desire that you faint not at my tribulation

for you, which is your glory. For this cause

I bow my knee unto the father of our Lord Jesus

Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and

earth is named, that he would grant you according

to the riches of his glory." Now we read earlier

that God is giving us unsearchable riches. God

is unsearchable. We can't learn at all. We will

learn and learn and when we go on in glory and

heaven and all that goes on after will continue

to be learning because God is so infinite. He's

infinite. We'll just forever be learning forever

be finding out why more and more and more. He

loves us. Why more and more and more we love

him. Glory to God. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus.

and so here we are and so he's telling us in

verse 16 the riches of his glory he grants unto

us according to those riches to be strengthened

with might by his spirit in the inner man that's

who you really are that spirit in you your body

is just your it's just your suit your earth suit

so to speak It says that Christ may dwell in

your hearts by faith. It's everything's by faith

with God that being rooted and grounded in love.

Why? Because faith works by love and God's love

is the reason that he did all this because he

loves you and he loves me so much. So, so far,

verse eight, unsearchable riches, verse nine,

the fellowship of the mystery. That's the Holy

Spirit. We are to spend time with God and when

we do you will hear the Holy Spirit. He will

speak to your heart. He will use the peace of

God to speak to your heart. He can speak to you.

He can enlighten the word to jump off the page

at you. Verse 10 says so that the body of Christ

would display that wisdom to the unseen principalities

and powers when the enemy knows that you have

authority. He'll say just like he said in the

book of Acts to the demon said to the seven sons

of Sceva. He said Paul. I know and Jesus. I know

but who are you because they didn't know their

authority. They were trying to cast the demon

out without it, but you have the authority to

do it. You have the authority. I have the authority

by being born again. To tell the devil to take

a hike to get off your property to get off your

money to get off your family That's right. You

have that authority and we'll talk more about

that as the weeks go on but let's continue on

Also the riches of his glory. What are some of

those riches we get? grace great grace Where

would we be without the grace of God? That's

how we get saved Right and the mercy without

his mercy none of us would make it we would not

be standing today without the mercy of God Thank

God. He was merciful. Thank God. He sent his

son Jesus Thank you father. Thank you so much.

Thank God. Jesus was willing died on the cross

rose again by the power of the Holy Spirit And

that Holy Spirit lives in us. Jesus is at the

right hand of the father ever interceding. What

does that mean praying for you declaring things

over you, but he also gave you the power. to

speak. There's so much power in our words when

we know our authority in Christ. Alright, so

there's also his love. His love is never -ending.

His love doesn't change when you sin. His love

doesn't change when you are living your best

life. His love is always the same. But guess

what doesn't mean he likes our son doesn't mean

we won't have consequences if we're not careful

doesn't mean but it also doesn't mean that that

mercy is not there for you. It is there for you.

But God said I would rather you be hot or cold

because if you're lukewarm, he's going to spit

you out of his mouth and me if I become lukewarm.

We have to be bold with our faith and why wouldn't

we want to be it's like it's like. A heavenly

treasure has been opened up to us with all kinds

of goodness, and we need to share that with each

and every one. You have a testimony. You have

something to share. Wouldn't you want everyone

you know to know about heaven, to know about

how to be a more than a conqueror here on earth?

Not only does he give us grace and mercy and

love in these unspeakable, unsearchable riches,

but forgiveness. Forgiveness is huge is a huge

gift prosperity. He became poor. The Bible says

that we might become rich. That's what 2 Corinthians

8 9 says for, you know, the grace of our Lord

Jesus Christ that through he and him. He was

rich for your sake became poor that through his

poverty you might become rich. God's not against

you being blessed or having riches. He's against

those riches having you because you can't serve

money and God but with God God will bless you

Abraham was blessed. He was rich. He had cattle

and all kinds of things. He was wealthy man and

he was also obedient to the Lord and out of his

loins came Isaac and Jacob and down the line

eventually came the seed. the one and only Jesus

Christ. Hallelujah, hallelujah. So health and

healing, that's another one of his riches. The

Bible says that he was wounded for our transgressions,

bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement

of his peace was upon him and by his stripes

we were healed. you know those two things actually

mean sickness and pain and in the original you

know first peter 2 24 he bore our sins on his

body on the tree that we might die would not

die and sin but live in righteousness by his

stripes we were healed You know, we walk in divine

health. That's God's promise. If sickness hits

you, you begin to speak every healing scripture

in the Bible, you know, and if you don't know

him, look it up and start speaking it over you.

Why the Bible says in Proverbs, it is health

and life to all your flesh to all your flesh.

That's right. And so let's go on. It says that

and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge

that you might be filled with all the fullness

of God. God wants you filled every day with his

goodness every day. He's more than enough. He's

Jehovah Jireh our broad provider. You know, it

tells us in Psalms 23, he prepares a table before

us in the presence of our enemies. Why on that

table is all the graciousness, the goodness,

the love, the peace, the joy, the mercy and the

riches of God in Christ's health and healing.

Anything you want is on that table. And it is

in the presence of your enemies. Why? Because

the enemy was defeated on the cross. Jesus said

it is finished. That's when the devil's power

came to an end. And through the power of the

Holy Ghost, he grants us that power, that authority

to live a victorious life right here on earth.

That's why this program is called Champions in

Christ, because you are a champion when you get

born. Again, old things are passed away. All

things become new. You are a champion. You are

Christ's champion. And he wants you to live like

a champion. Does that mean you won't be persecuted?

Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no. You will be persecuted.

But we have nothing to fear. You don't have anything

to fear. Fear is of the devil. The Bible says

God has not given us the spirit of fear, but

he's given us love. I'm sorry, power, love and

a sound mind. What's that power? The Holy Ghost.

love. What's that love? That's Christ in us.

The power love in the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah.

And a sound mind. That's peace. He wore that

crown, that crown of thorns on his head, which

must have hurt beyond a man all imaginable that

between that the nails in his hands and feet

the spirit aside the pain that he endured. that

we could have victory, that we could have peace

of mind, that by his stripes we were healed.

That was the flogging he took before he got on

the cross. They were just ripping his flesh out

with a with a cat of nine tails and just he took

39 stripes that you would be healed. Don't let

sickness overtake you. Fight. Fight the fight

of faith with the word of God. Declare the word

of God. Believe you've received it. read a mark

11 22 23 and 24 it says you can have what you

say if you believe with your heart and it's the

same with salvation if you believe in your heart

and confess with your mouth that jesus is lord

he will become your savior if you'll receive

that free gift it's by grace we're saved not

of works it's through faith At least any man

should boast. Nobody can boast about how they

did something good enough. You can't be good

enough to save yourself. We are all sinners.

The Bible says all have fallen short of the glory

of God. But guess what? God is our savior and

he's available to you today. If you're listening

to me and you're in a storm and you don't know

how to get out, call on Jesus. Call on Jesus.

Open up the Bible. Start reading the New Testament.

It's in the back of the book. It's from Matthew

to Revelation. Start reading it. Read in the

book of John. Learn your authority so you can

take a stand against the lies of the enemy. You

know, Psalms 23 says, though I walk through the

valley of the shadow of death, don't don't don't

park a tent there. You are passing through the

storm. You are passing through a valley of a

shadow of death. It can't harm you. No, you say

no and let Christ take over. He'll fight your

battles. The Bible says the battle is the Lord's

remember. He's our broad provider. He's Jehovah

Jireh. He's the one who sees and makes provision

the Lord who sees and makes provision. It's already

provided for there's not one need in your life.

that he doesn't have a provision for. There's

not one question he doesn't have an answer for.

I just want you to think about, he's Jireh, he's

Jehovah Jireh. You're already chosen. You're

already loved. He's already chose you, but you've

got to choose him. He gives you a free will.

You've got to choose to take your authority.

We're going to listen to a song and then I'll

come back and talk with you on the other side.

Jehovah Jireh that's right you are loved you

are loved and if you're listening to me right

now and you're saying I don't know this Jesus

I've never heard of him I I hear people say God

and I don't I know there might be someone out

there you might believe there is a God but you

don't have a personal relationship with Jesus

well right now I want to give you that opportunity

so pray this prayer with me dear Heavenly Father

I ask you forgive me of my sins I ask you to

cleanse me. I repent and turn away from the things

of the world and I receive your free gift of

Jesus Christ into my heart. I make you Lord and

Savior of my life and I thank you in Jesus name.

Amen. If you prayed that prayer, you've become

born again. You've become a new creature in Christ.

You need to tell someone the Bible says that

he won't be ashamed of you if you're not ashamed

of him. So tell someone you gave your life to

Go, go find a church that preaches the. the whole

council of God's word. And if you don't walk

out of their change, look for another one. You

want a place where you can be fed the good word

of God. All right, well listen, you guys have

and you are a champion in Christ.
