  1. All right, Oak Ridge family and friends, this is David here with Yana, Jeremy, and Jory,

  2. and we are working on reading a scripture for the first Sunday of Advent today.

  3. Anything that y'all look forward to for Christmas break?

  4. Seeing my family.

  5. Listening to Christmas carols.

  6. Celebrating Los Tres Reinos.

  7. Christmas.

  8. I am looking forward to getting on the road here in a minute for Encounter Ali.

  9. Yeah.

  10. All right.

  11. Isaiah chapter 2, verses 1 through 5.

    Isaiah 2:1–5

  12. The word that Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

  13. In days to come, the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established as the highest of the mountains and shall be raised above the hills.

  14. All the nations shall stream to it.

  15. Many people shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob,

  16. that he may teach us his ways, and that we may walk in his paths.

  17. For out of Zion shall go forth instruction and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

  18. He shall judge between the nations and shall arbitrate for many peoples.

  19. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.

  20. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,

  21. neither shall they learn war anymore.

  22. O house of Jacob, come let us walk in the light of the Lord.

  23. Psalm 122

  24. I was glad when they said to me,

  25. Let us go to the house of the Lord.

  26. Our feet are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem.

  27. Jerusalem was built as a city that is bound firmly together.

  28. To the tribes go up the tribes of the Lord,

  29. as was decreed for Israel,

  30. to give thanks to the name of the Lord.

  31. For there the thrones of four judgments were set up, the thrones of the house of David.

  32. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you.

  33. Peace be within your walls and security within your towers.

  34. For the sake of my relatives and friends, I will say, Peace be with you.

  35. For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.

  36. Bless this, you know what time it is, how it is already.

  37. The moment for you to want from salvation is near to us.

  38. Now, when we became believers, the night is far gone.

  39. The days are near.

  40. Let us throw off the work of darkness and put on the armor of light.

  41. Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is already

  42. the moment for you to wake from sleep for salvation is near to us now.

  43. Then when we became believers, the night is far gone.

  44. and the day is near.

  45. Matthew 24, 36 through 44.

  46. But about that day and hour no one knew, neither the angels of heaven nor the Son, but only the Father.

  47. For as the day of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

  48. For in the days before the flood there were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,

  49. until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away.

  50. So too will be the coming of Son and Man.

  51. Then two will be in the field.

  52. One will be taken and one will be left.

  53. Two women will be grinding meal together.

  54. One will be taken and one will be left.

  55. Keep awake therefore, for you do not know

  56. on what day your Lord is coming.

  57. But understand this, if the owner of the house

  58. had known in what part of the night the thief was coming,

  59. he would have stayed awake

  60. and would have not let his house be broken into.

  61. Therefore, you must also be on the ready,

  62. for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
