  1. It's time for the Champions in Christ broadcast

  2. with Rhonda Harrison on 1017 Bay of Anish. Good

  3. morning and welcome to Champions in Christ. This

  4. is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice

  5. and be glad in it. Wow, what a week it's been.

  6. Snow in places you haven't heard of snow being

  7. in quite some time. We got some snow as well

  8. and snow always reminds me, I love. beautiful

  9. snow. It always reminds me of the scripture that

  10. talks about when God says when he washes our

  11. sin away, he washes us white as snow. Pure, just

  12. pure white and it just sparkles in the sunlight.

  13. It's beautiful. We're going to talk today about

  14. how treasured and valued you are in God's eyes.

  15. You know God loves you so much and we're going

  16. to go in the Bible today to Psalms 139, and I'm

  17. going to read it in the New Living Translation,

  18. and we're going to stop along the way. It says,

  19. Oh Lord, you have examined my heart. You know

  20. everything about me. Can you believe that? God

  21. knows your heart. He knows every single thing

  22. about your life. It continues on and says, you

  23. know, when I sit down, you know, when I stand

  24. up. You know my thoughts even when they're far

  25. away. You see me when I travel and when I rest

  26. at home. Just think about that. He knows when

  27. you sit down and when you stand up. He knows

  28. when you travel. He knows when you're resting.

  29. He knows every detail of your life. He is omnipresent.

  30. That means he can be everywhere at the same time.

  31. There's only one God. There's only one Lord.

  32. There's only one faith. There's only one Holy

  33. Spirit, and there's only one Jesus Christ. Verse

  34. three says, or verse four says, you know everything

  35. I do. He knows everything we do, good, bad, and

  36. the ugly. You know. You go before me and you

  37. follow me. That means God is always with you

  38. You know, the Bible says he never leaves you

  39. He never forsakes you when he created Adam. He

  40. already had you in mind He had us in mind long

  41. long time ago, even before Adam. He had you in

  42. mind He wanted fellowship. He wanted a family.

  43. He wanted relationship He follows you. He follows

  44. you. You know, there's in Psalms 23. It says

  45. goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days

  46. of my life. Wow. Isn't that awesome? God's goodness

  47. and mercy. You know, if you're in a hard time

  48. in a hard situation right now, God's goodness

  49. and mercy is following you. You don't have to

  50. worry. You're coming out. If you put your trust

  51. in him, if you put that faith in him, he's going

  52. to bring you through and you're going to be better

  53. than you ever were. It goes on to say, you place

  54. your hand of blessing upon my head. You know

  55. everything about God towards you or I is nothing

  56. but love and grace and mercy and kindness and

  57. forgiveness. He is the God who forgives why because

  58. his son he sent his son to take the payment for

  59. our sin that we could be forgiven. You know the

  60. fact that God knows every single thing we do

  61. every single thing we. Look at every thought

  62. we have. He's there when we sit down. He's there

  63. when we stand up. He's there when we sleep. He's

  64. there when we're busy working. He's there when

  65. we're with our children. He's there when we're

  66. in sin, you know, the Bible says while we were

  67. sinners Christ loved us. He says such knowledge

  68. is too wonderful for me too great for me to understand.

  69. You know, this is this is David talking about

  70. the Lord to the Lord. And this is a song. So

  71. it was a song of sorts back then and it's beautiful.

  72. It's beautiful. You know that knowledge to think

  73. about it think about how God could think about

  74. you your five brothers your two sisters your

  75. cousins, your aunt, he thinks about everybody

  76. every single day. We are the forethought. We

  77. are his whole heart. He loves human humanity.

  78. He loves the human race, all kinds, all colors.

  79. It doesn't matter. He loves us the same. It doesn't

  80. matter if you're the worst sinner on the planet

  81. or you're not. He loves you the same. Why that

  82. love? change. It can't change. He chose to love

  83. us. Now, does that mean he's happy when we're

  84. in sin or happy when we're making bad decisions?

  85. Absolutely not. Let's go on in verse 7. It says,

  86. I can never escape your Holy Spirit. Never. Never

  87. can we escape the Spirit of God. It says, I can

  88. never get away from your presence. Oh and in

  89. another place David praise earnestly take not

  90. your presence from me. You know, we can't get

  91. away from his presence because he's everywhere.

  92. He just loves you so much. He just wants to do

  93. so many wonderful things in your life, but he

  94. won't do it without your permission. He'll bless

  95. you. He'll give you mercy. You know, there may

  96. be someone else praying for you today. Maybe

  97. you've hated God. Maybe you got mad at God thinking

  98. God did something wrong or didn't allow something

  99. in your life. Guess what? God gets blamed for

  100. a lot of things. He doesn't do there is a real

  101. enemy on the planet. And his name is Satan and

  102. he's got a horde of demons that align with him.

  103. But guess what? Jesus defeated him and them on

  104. the cross. So once you know your authority in

  105. him, once you've given your life to him, there's

  106. no wall. You can't climb over. There's no victory

  107. that can't be won in your life because the Bible

  108. says nothing is impossible with our God. Nothing.

  109. David continues to say, if I go up into heaven,

  110. you're there. If I go down in the grave, you're

  111. there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if

  112. I dwell in the farthest ocean, even there your

  113. hand will guide me. We know that's true because

  114. of Jonah. You know, Jonah was a very rebellious

  115. man of God. He was a prophet and and God told

  116. him to go to Nineveh and he just didn't want

  117. to. So he got got himself on a boat. And he started

  118. heading in another direction, but the loving

  119. correction of God, the loving correction, there

  120. goes his mercy with Jonah. You know, he showed

  121. him mercy by letting him be swallowed up in a

  122. large fish or whale. You know, but he was with

  123. Jonah and Jonah repented. And guess what? God

  124. restored him to that place as prophet. He went

  125. and prophesied and it saved Nineveh and all the

  126. people there. So it's important we yield to the

  127. Lord is for our own good. You know, he loves

  128. you. He doesn't want to harm you. You know, Jeremiah

  129. 29 11, he knows the thoughts and the plans he

  130. has for you plans to prosper you and give you

  131. a future not to harm you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  132. It says, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even

  133. there your hand will guide me. Your strength

  134. will support me. He's always there to support

  135. you. If no one else is there, if you're in Antarctica,

  136. if you are in Iceland, if you are all by yourself

  137. because you decided to be by yourself in a small

  138. place, in the woods somewhere, guess what? God

  139. is there with you. He is there. David continues

  140. on in verse 11. He says, I could ask the darkness

  141. to hide me and the light around me to become

  142. night. But even in darkness, I can't hide from

  143. you. Wow. Wow. Just think God is right there

  144. waiting to hear your prayer, waiting to hear

  145. your opinion, waiting to talk to you. He wants

  146. fellowship with you. Talk to him all during the

  147. day. You know, it says, you made all the delicate

  148. and inward parts of my body and knit me together

  149. in my mother's womb. You know, that's why life

  150. begins at conception because God created us in

  151. our mother's womb out of that little bitty cell.

  152. Praise God. Praise God. And David says, thank

  153. you for making me so wonderfully complex. When

  154. you realize, and those of you who've been to

  155. medical school do realize, how complex the human

  156. body is and how powerful the hand of God is to

  157. create all of that in a little cell. And it just

  158. expands into this human being that can see and

  159. hear and speak and run and do feats that people

  160. could never believe. all because of his wonderful

  161. works. David continued to say, your workmanship

  162. is marvelous. How well I know it. You know, if

  163. you just look, if you've taken biology in school,

  164. and we all have, unless you haven't as of yet,

  165. biology will tell us so many wonderful things

  166. about all the things God created. and his love

  167. for you and I just in the creation he prepared

  168. before he brought Adam and the earth and the

  169. earth we live today although it's been corrupted

  170. by sin and sickness and and all the horrible

  171. things of the enemy guess what it's still beautiful

  172. you still can look out in the woods and see the

  173. beauty of his handiwork the mountains and the

  174. valleys and the You know, we are so blessed in

  175. America. We get to see it all. If we took a tour

  176. around America, we would see the greatest mountains.

  177. We would see the Grand Canyon and the valleys.

  178. We would see the beautiful red rock. We would

  179. see the oceans, the lakes, the rivers, the streams,

  180. the snow, the sun, the heat, the sand. Beautiful,

  181. beautiful handiwork. Thank God for his handiwork

  182. and Heaven's even better. Good thing we can't

  183. see that or we wouldn't want to be here, right?

  184. And he goes on to say, you watched me as I was

  185. being formed in utter seclusion. And as I was

  186. woven together in the dark of the womb, you saw

  187. me before I was born. He knew you before you

  188. were born. How about that? Think on that. Selah,

  189. S -E -L -A -H, it means think on that. Wow, he

  190. knew you before you were even born. That's why

  191. abortion is such a, it's not only heartbreaking

  192. and sad, but it's murder because you're taking

  193. away life that you didn't give. and that life

  194. doesn't have a chance unless we give it to them.

  195. And if you've had an abortion, God's grace and

  196. His mercy is there. He'll forgive you if you

  197. repent. He'll heal that place in you and He'll

  198. restore you to that rightful place with Him.

  199. So there's no condemnation in deception. Many

  200. people, we've all been deceived in this or that

  201. thinking this way or that way, not knowing God's

  202. word. But he will redeem us. Hallelujah. If we

  203. repent, it says every moment was laid before

  204. a single day was passed. He already knew he already

  205. knew what was going to happen. He knows the end

  206. from the beginning and the beginning from the

  207. end. How precious are your thoughts about me?

  208. Oh, God, they cannot be numbered. I cannot even

  209. count them. They outnumber the grains of the

  210. sand. Wow. Think of the grains of the sand all

  211. over the world, under the oceans and above those

  212. which we can squish our toes in. His thoughts

  213. towards you are outnumbered, are outnumbered

  214. like the sands of the sea. Can you imagine? how

  215. much he thinks about you, how much he wants to

  216. bless you, how much he loves you. Oh, that sin's

  217. not worth it. No, no, no, no. His payment, he

  218. gave his life that we could be free. He gave

  219. his life that you could be set free from alcohol,

  220. drugs, sickness, disease, infirmity, calamity,

  221. poverty. He took it all. It's the good news of

  222. the gospel. He is ready to pour it out in your

  223. life. The only thing he says is you have to believe

  224. the grit, the size of a mustard seed, which is

  225. one of the smallest seeds created. That's how

  226. much faith you have to have and he'll do it for

  227. you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He

  228. says, and when I wake up, you are still with

  229. me. He's right there when you wake up. You know,

  230. you can say good morning, Lord. And he's saying

  231. good morning back. Good morning, Lord. Let's

  232. start this day together. Good morning, Lord.

  233. Help me lead me guide me. You know, we never

  234. go wrong with his guidance. Never. Anytime he

  235. spoke in the word of God to someone and they

  236. were obedient to that word. it only blessed them.

  237. It only brought them reward. It only brought

  238. them success. It only brought them answered prayer.

  239. Do you know there wasn't one sick person when

  240. Jesus was on the earth that asked him to heal

  241. him and believed him for it and received? There

  242. is no one that didn't receive it. No one. Everybody

  243. was healed. Why? Because they believed. Now when

  244. he went to Nazareth, Nazareth People wouldn't

  245. believe him. They looked at him as the carpenter's

  246. son. They didn't understand the gravity of who

  247. he was. They just chose not to believe. Believing

  248. is a choice. So change your thoughts. If you

  249. had a bad idea about God, if you thought he was

  250. not a good person, not a good person, not a good

  251. God, if you thought that there was another God,

  252. guess what? Buddha's in the grave. His dust is

  253. still there. Every other God is nothing. There

  254. is no other God but our God. Hallelujah. There

  255. is no one else that can be everywhere you are,

  256. that knows every thought about you, that created

  257. you. There is no other. So what are you waiting

  258. on? If you want the goodness of God flooding

  259. your life, then why wouldn't you? He's so good.

  260. He's so great. but he's not going to overcome

  261. your will. He's so loving and so wanted us to

  262. love him on our own that he chose to give us

  263. free will. Therefore we don't all have to choose

  264. him and unfortunately not everybody will and

  265. because they don't accept that free gift and

  266. their sins won't be forgiven, they will find

  267. themselves in an eternal hell forever. But those

  268. of us who choose him, those of us who realize

  269. the greatness of our God, we get to live eternally

  270. with him. And heaven's a beautiful place, and

  271. there'll be a new earth and a new heaven, and

  272. it's great, but greater than what we'll be living

  273. around, we'll be living with him. But it doesn't

  274. have to start in heaven, it can start right here.

  275. You can have heaven on earth by following him,

  276. by following his word. Does that mean you'll

  277. not have trouble? No. No, no, no, no, because

  278. every test, every trial, every situation you

  279. overcome is another victory for God and for you.

  280. So yes, we will continue to have trouble. We

  281. will be persecuted. Yes, we will. But guess what?

  282. God's overcome the world. He said, be of good

  283. cheer. So change your thoughts today. Put your

  284. eyes on Jesus and trust him. You know, David

  285. was human. But he's praying and he's talking

  286. to God and he's thinking about what great God

  287. is. And then he switches tones a little bit and

  288. he says, oh God, this is verse 19. If you only

  289. would destroy the wicked, get them out of my

  290. life, murderers. They blaspheme you. Your enemies

  291. misuse your name. Boy, we know that to be true,

  292. don't we? Oh Lord, shouldn't I hate those that

  293. hate you? Shouldn't I despise those that oppose

  294. you? Yes, I hate them with a total hatred for

  295. your enemies are my enemies. That was God, I

  296. mean David, sharing and venting to God. But I

  297. want to read you something in the New Testament

  298. and what God tells us to do about our enemies.

  299. He says this is Jesus talking in Matthew 5 43

  300. says you've heard the law says love your neighbors

  301. and hate your enemies But I say love your enemies

  302. pray for those who persecute you In that way,

  303. you will be acting as a true child of your father

  304. in heaven. For he gives sunlight to both the

  305. evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just

  306. and the unjust. If you love only those that love

  307. you, what reward do you have? For even the corrupt

  308. tax collectors can do that much. If you're kind

  309. only to your friends, how are you different from

  310. anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you...

  311. be perfect in love even as your father in heaven

  312. is. You know when you go, how can I do that?

  313. How can I love those that have hurt me? How can

  314. I love those that hate me? How can I love those

  315. that persecute you? You can't accept through

  316. God's love. And as He expands your heart, you

  317. know, one of my prayers daily is, God, give me

  318. a heart to see people as you see them and to

  319. love them as you love them. Because only when

  320. He fills you with His goodness, His grace, His

  321. Holy Spirit, can you love Him like that. You

  322. know, so David was just venting to God because

  323. then I want you to see what David ends this psalm

  324. with. He says, search my heart, O God, and know

  325. my ways. Test me and know my anxious thought.

  326. Point out anything to me that offends you and

  327. lead me along the path of everlasting life. He

  328. doesn't want you tripped up and stumbling. He

  329. doesn't. You are precious to God. That's what

  330. the word says. You are precious to him. You are

  331. loved and forgiven and healed and delivered if

  332. you'll just receive him at his word. And we want

  333. to keep our heart with all diligence because

  334. out of it is the issues of life. Don't let the

  335. junk in, get the junk out, let it go, vent to

  336. God as David did. He wants to hear your venting

  337. and he wants to turn your heart. David, King

  338. David was known as a man after God's own heart.

  339. That's what God said about him. Why? Because

  340. he knew to run to God when he was having bad

  341. thoughts and feelings and he knew how to let

  342. it go and receive God's mercy and grace. You

  343. know Isaiah says you are precious, honored, and

  344. loved by God. And Romans 8, 18 says, for I don't

  345. consider the sufferings of this present time

  346. worthy or to be compared with the glory to be

  347. revealed to us. You know what you're going through

  348. right now? It's going to pass, but change your

  349. thoughts and act. Act in faith towards God. Believe

  350. His word and you'll see it come to pass. You

  351. know, God knows how to find you. He knows you.

  352. He knows you. I want to tell you a few people

  353. in the Bible. You know, there was Rahab who was

  354. a harlot who ended up being born again, loving

  355. God and following after him. Paul was a religious

  356. Pharisee. He knew the Pentateuch, the Old Testament

  357. like nobody business, and he thought he was doing

  358. right, but he was persecuting and killing Christians

  359. because he had a form of godliness and denied

  360. the power thereof. Zacchaeus, he was a tax collector

  361. and he was very money hungry. Noah would get

  362. drunk. Joseph was abused. There's nothing you

  363. have felt or done that someone else before you

  364. probably listed in the Bible and God didn't redeem

  365. them. Everyone I'm listing to you turned to God

  366. and God redeemed them. How about Noah being a

  367. Christian but rebellious in his walk with God

  368. and he was a prophet. He's in the fivefold ministry

  369. gifts and God redeemed him. God redeemed him.

  370. He loves you today. He will redeem you. He will

  371. redeem you if you just let him. If you just realize

  372. how much he loves you, how much he thinks about

  373. you, how good he is, how good he is. He knows

  374. what you're going through. He knows what you're

  375. going through. We're going to listen to a song

  376. just about that very thing, how God knows what

  377. you're going through and how he loves you. and

  378. I'll come right back and talk with you after

  379. that. And every day you try to pick up all the

  380. pieces All the memories that somehow never leave

  381. you Nobody, nobody, nobody sees you Nobody, nobody

  382. will believe you God only knows what you've been

  383. through God only knows what they say about you

  384. God only knows how it's killing you But there's

  385. a kind of love that God only knows Somebody,

  386. somebody sees you Somebody, somebody will never

  387. leave you God only knows what you've been through

  388. God only knows what they say about you God only

  389. knows how it's killing you But there's a kind

  390. of love that God only knows If you're lonely

  391. today, if you're ashamed, if you're misunderstood,

  392. if you are the one to blame, you can start over

  393. with God. You really can. You can start over

  394. with Him today. Right now, you know, He knows

  395. how to find you because He already knows where

  396. you're at. He's right there with you. He knows

  397. the real you. He knows the things you... you

  398. you have in secret and you're afraid to tell

  399. that you're afraid someone's going to find out

  400. just as that song said he knows you he knows

  401. you and guess what he loves you he's pursuing

  402. you with all of his heart once you give him opportunity

  403. once you give him a chance he'll heal your broken

  404. heart he'll give you a miracle if you need one

  405. that's right he will do it he will do it And

  406. I want to take this opportunity, just pray with

  407. me. Say, Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me, cleanse

  408. me. I realize now that you love me, that you're

  409. there for me. And I ask you to be my Lord, my

  410. Savior. I repent of my sin. I renounce the things

  411. of the world. And thank you. Thank you for filling

  412. me with your Holy Spirit and with the fire of

  413. God. Thank you for loving me. When I couldn't

  414. love myself and I choose to forgive myself Of

  415. all the things I've done just as you have chosen

  416. to forgive in me in Jesus name If you prayed

  417. that prayer today, I want to say you've been

  418. born again. You've been restored to that rightful

  419. place. Old things are passed away. Your sin is

  420. gone and washed away. What do you want to do
