Friday, a right appreciate the opportunity can be turned through
-
the Book of Hebrews, chapter.
-
Chapter eleven.
-
So you can be turned to the Book of Hebrews,
-
Chapter eleven, verse twenty five. I do wanna take time
-
to say thank you for the opportunity to my pastor
-
and my youth pastor. I regard them greatly. I'm holding
-
them up in the hope most respect. There are great examples,
-
great examples to look up.
-
To and to follow and put your trust in.
-
There's so many people in this world that are so untrustworthy.
-
You can't trust him as far as you can throw
-
him in a lot of you could throw them three feet.
-
I'm thankful that we got somebody.
-
That we can trust it to lead us to have it,
-
but also get our kids to have it. I believe
-
we have a youth pastor and a pastor who cares
-
for every soul here. I do having burdens the Lord
-
laid on my heart a heavy burden that I've asked
-
God for it. Because of the seriousness of this message.
-
I just require the prayers of every saying of God
-
that they would pray earnestly throughout this whole Servant here
-
that God has given us. If you haven't, let's stand
-
for the reading and the reverence of God's word Hebrews
-
eleven and twenty five, choosing after choosing rather to suffer
-
afflictions with the people of God than to enjoy the
-
pleasures of sin for a season, now flipping over to
-
Romans chapter six and twenty three.
-
For the wages of.
-
Sin is dead, but the gift of God eternal life
-
through Jesus Christ, our Lord, and then going over just
-
a chapter over to verse twenty four verse chapter seven,
-
Verse twenty four, Old wretched man that I am, who
-
shall deliver me from this body of death? I asked it?
-
The church will pray here. Lord, we ask you right
-
now in the name of Jesus. Lord God, would keep
-
please have your way. God need you more than ever before.
-
God.
-
I'm asking Lord, or touch for godege that's on. Lord.
-
He got a burden, Lord.
-
Ah, conviction power to settlement here, Lord that.
-
Need'll gravel hold of somebody.
-
Lord, and don't realize Lord red that today God, I
-
asked you right now.
-
In the name of Jesus Christ.
-
The night dread. Lord, Lord, let your praises took fixture
-
in love Lord, fall.
-
Of that place, don't e probably Lord to the altar
-
gordon your name. Lord, we ask, and we pray, Lord,
-
and we'll be sure to give you all the Lord
-
in the name or in the name of Jesus. In
-
the church said amen.
-
How they now going back to Hebrews chapter eleven and
-
twenty five, notice with me there it says, choosing rather
-
to suffer the affliction with the people of God, this
-
right here, the latter part, then to enjoy the pleasures
-
of sin for a season. Now, a season is just
-
something that's a short ways of time and it doesn't
-
last long. It's only temporary. That means it will be
-
over in just a short while, you know, And that's
-
what That's the way sin is. You know. We we
-
like to commit sin, or the devil likes to give
-
us that short season of joy, that short little pleasure,
-
but it's not there to stay.
-
Where has a You're you're you're You're.
-
Going to enjoy the fact of committing your sin for
-
for a little while, but soon you'll feel empty again.
-
You'll go looking for.
-
Something else that will give you that thrill that you
-
got the first time, and it will lead you further.
-
The second time, and it takes you further and further
-
away from where God's told you to be because you're
-
searching for it thrill. You're searching for that same sjoy
-
that you had the first time. You're looking for that
-
same drenaline rush. If you will, I know what it's
-
like to commits in well, used to, but every time
-
you know, it felt good in the moment, it fell
-
right in the moment, but as soon as it was over,
-
you felt convintion and said why did I do that?
-
They're that same empty that's feeling again. They're that same
-
grief and saying why do.
-
I keep doing that? And that's what for a.
-
Little while I like to preach on us trading or sorry,
-
going from thrills.
-
To shrills, Going from a thrill to a shrill.
-
And now a thrill is a sudden feeling over excitement
-
and pleasure.
-
Now a shrill is.
-
A hot pitch sound or cry. Whenever you get to Hell,
-
there will be a hot pitch cry and it will
-
be a shrill like you've never heard before.
-
You'll say, well is that noise? And little do you
-
know is coming from your own body?
-
As you realize that you have chosen again, a thrill,
-
and it leads you to the depth of hell, and.
-
You swill in pain, and you cry and out of
-
it and you hide. My thrills have led me to pain.
-
You're losing track of time.
-
You don't have much time to lift. You need to
-
quit searching for that next thrill. It's leading you into
-
eternal thrills of pain, eternal pride of pain.
-
As you're in help of eternity and you.
-
Reid that you traded.
-
The wrong things. You chose short lip joy over returning eternity.
-
Lift just for a real quick fix.
-
Ain't you a real quick joy over eternal life? You
-
will suffer eternal pain. The people of this world love
-
to act like they're.
-
Living the best life.
-
They love to tell you of the soul things on
-
other things, talk good and you know of the good
-
times like they like to say, Hey, I'm going to
-
party this week and I'm gonna have a good time.
-
That all a lie from the pits of hell. The
-
devil don't know what a good time is you're talking about.
-
A good time is when you're gonna better the sound
-
mine with all you in your heart, not worrying about it.
-
You gonna die where you're gonna wake over sat a
-
good time, not get shrunk on the things of that girl.
-
They tell you that lot the devil has. He has
-
him tell you that to try.
-
To convince you, because the devil miserable. There's that same
-
misery loves company. The devil he knows what he's got coming.
-
He's so if he can create the biggest misery party
-
he can because of his failure, because he tried.
-
To overthrow the kakam of God.
-
He wants to watch you supper with him.
-
He's already going, and he's trying to drag you with it.
-
That's why he offers these faith thrills that only live
-
for a season.
-
But again't you take it hook on and say there
-
think you're thinking that it's gonna last.
-
The devil knows what real joy is. He was a head.
-
He knows what piece is.
-
That's why he offers you with faithful because he don't
-
want you to take no party in what he had.
-
He offers these faith thrills that ties because he tried
-
to make it seem like it's what he has. You're
-
so blind to buy the thrills of this world that
-
is leading.
-
You right to the devil's front door.
-
You better stop testing and try and sence drilled turnery
-
real quick.
-
The heap are a proverb.
-
Fourteen and twelve he was fourteen and twelve.
-
There is a way, which seemeth write him to a
-
man put the end.
-
There are the ways of death. It's the way of death.
-
That thrill that you keep testing that that's sin that
-
you just keep having to come in again.
-
One day.
-
It's not gonna give off the same thrill that did
-
the first time. There's drug at it that are in
-
this world. They start with one drug. They take that
-
drug until it does to do what it used to do.
-
Then they know to something else and they get a
-
little eye off that one, and they have found my fix.
-
That thing they know. They tried all of them that
-
there is.
-
There isn't another drug they can take, and they just
-
can't find that high.
-
They walden and.
-
They end up going to the end of a rosa,
-
or they end up taking their life, or they end
-
up falling into a deep dark depressions because they can't
-
stop testing out.
-
The thrills of the devil, because they're trying to find
-
that same fix again. You're convinced you've got time, you're
-
convinced your ways right.
-
Your way is the way of death. Your way of
-
the sin is death the.
-
Devil one day pay for your work.
-
One day you'll say it's time that I received payment,
-
and it takes your life with him, right to the
-
pits of hell.
-
Once you've ventured that place, there is no coming back.
-
You will have her seen sin salary. Whatever the way
-
the sin is paid for, what's the way of the sin?
-
First of all, the Bible says death, then pain, then loneliness,
-
then agony. As you fall into the deepest and darkest
-
burning hell and whole that has ever exists.
-
And ever will exist.
-
You try these short thrills in sin will be the
-
longest pay thrill you've ever had.
-
Hell will be your final thrill. But it's not going
-
to be the thrills.
-
You thought it would be, because you chose.
-
Death over life.
-
You sit there and.
-
Let Jesus die for your sin. Jesus died for your sin.
-
He didn't die to take your place in hell. He
-
died for the sins. Jesus paid for the sin, but
-
he didn't pay for your place in hell. He tried
-
giving you an opportunity day to receive great to retinet
-
forgiveness so that you wouldn't have to go to hell.
-
But you can either accept his birth day or you
-
can reject them and keep committing those thrills, and.
-
You will pay. Why one of these days, coworker the church,
-
that coworker.
-
That knows you say you were a holiness boy, you're
-
a holding this woman or a holdiness man. They convince
-
you to go and try something that they do well.
-
They may me convince you, though, to say a certain worder,
-
or to tell a certain joker, even try to make
-
you think a certain way.
-
But whenever you're.
-
In hell, they will be the one that nash is
-
on you with their team said why did.
-
You not tell me of the place?
-
Why did you let me convince you that the thrills
-
of the world was better than what you had? They
-
will be the one with any with rediment saying why.
-
They're gonna say, why didn't you tell me of the
-
road to Heaven? Of the roads and came, why am
-
I here?
-
You're to blame for my paint, You're the blame for
-
the dignity agony. You're the blame for this. There will
-
be no happiness in hell. They will pick on you.
-
They will mock you, You will mock them.
-
You will be.
-
Burning in hell for eternity with no way to get
-
away from your pain and misery.
-
God.
-
When you get there, every soul that is there.
-
They're gonna say, another weak one has a rived, Another
-
coward has a ride, another one without a backbone.
-
Has a ride. And they ask you where my scripture
-
is for that? Go to Isaiah fourteen and nine and ten.
-
Heaven needs this mood for thee to meet thee. After coming,
-
it stirs up the dead, even all the chief ones
-
up the earth. It has raised up their thrones and
-
all the kingdoms of the.
-
Nation right here verse ten. And they shall say, or
-
they shall speak and say that to thee art, thou
-
also become weak.
-
As we part, Thou become like unto us?
-
Are you a coward like we are? Are you? Are
-
you just another one of us that they just couldn't
-
get it off.
-
With the thrills? You know, there's there are risk takers.
-
I think they're called those people that they seek. They
-
seek adrenalin rushes. They start out by maybe climbing a
-
little tower, right, and then they have to go onto
-
something bigger.
-
They say, Okay, let me try a mountain. So they
-
start trying to.
-
Climb the mountain. Well, then they get told that that
-
that no longer gets from the thrill that they once had.
-
So they say, well, let me try without climbing gear.
-
Let me try without all the safeties. That's what's gonna
-
happen to you.
-
One day. You're gonna get talked up with the small
-
things and don't say, well, I handled it that way,
-
I escaped death that way.
-
Let me try without the safety and you're gonna be
-
me meant by the devil, as he says, welcome to
-
your final destination.
-
I fooled you.
-
I have to convince that my way was the best way.
-
Little do you know you have been deceived. What what
-
is it that that just fascinates you, that causes you
-
to keep pushing the limits. If you keep pushing the limits,
-
one day you're gonna find no resistance. You're gonna realize
-
that God said, you know what. They have pushed so much.
-
They've lost their checking ballance, They've stared their conscience. It's
-
officially seied no more what I preach, No matter what
-
the pastor catches a burden.
-
About your form.
-
You let it. Do anyone here, let it do out
-
the other service after service time, and time agains revival
-
after revivle.
-
You sair it, you say it and tell your heart
-
is so.
-
Hard that you're no longer moved.
-
God, Jesus is the.
-
Only one that can deliver you from your sin.
-
God said his word, my spirit shall not always.
-
Strive with men.
-
You're consistent with chasing your next drill, and it's leading
-
you down a path that.
-
You've told yourself you would never go. There's a saving
-
in this world, or we hear the lie in the church.
-
I should say, sin will cost you more than you
-
wanted to pay. It'll keep you longer than you wanted
-
to stay. That is so true. You're gonna pay more
-
than you ever bargained for whatever perhaps you lead. You
-
may be married, you may not be married. I don't
-
know who I'm preaching to tonight. I just know what
-
God give me. But you might cost your entire family
-
if you don't make sure you're right. If you don't
-
quit seeking those thrills, your children will know what it's
-
like to scream and pain that they say, Daddy left
-
me here, Rather left me here, I followed dar I
-
got it the way they've done it. I went done
-
the same things that they've done.
-
They thrilled is what this has got me?
-
This has got me paid, This has got me hanging.
-
I thought I had good parents. Praise God, God and
-
Jesus could be coming to you tonight, God, with one
-
more chance to see if you will receive him. In
-
the bottle of said he came into his own and
-
his own received him. Not his own is in the
-
building tonight, His children are in the building tonight. We
-
all received him. But senter, friend, He's coming to you
-
one more time tonight to see if this time you
-
will receive him. Perhaps if you don't receive him, there's
-
a drug add him that's out on the street in.
-
That by way that God will say, I know they're
-
at the lowest point of their lives.
-
I know they will receive what I have for perhaps
-
they're the homeless Bertha that gets fed every Thursday.
-
Night, that God that I know they want what I have,
-
or maybe someone that here's the preaching on the street
-
every Saturday.
-
God knows that they want what he has, and he says,
-
no more, I have your replacement.
-
I don't want to be any He came up to
-
it all and I don't received him.
-
Not.
-
If you don't receive him tonight, you may not him
-
get a chance to again. I ain't promising nothing. I
-
don't claim to be one. I'm just saying it could
-
be your last chance. You don't know.
-
You'll not promise tomorrow. You could drump down right now,
-
I could. Everybody in this better could, or Jesus could call.
-
Where would you, being God.
-
As we fly away to our eternal rewards?
-
Will I look over at the angel beside me and
-
see you on his weeks? Or if I fly away,
-
will I hear your shrill as you cry out as
-
reality said Sam, that you just missed the rapture that
-
your eternal destination. There's a lake of fires, whether it's advertorment,
-
Wave Me, Whiting and Nash Good Teams.
-
Here's a drug head that knows what the thrills of
-
sin will do.
-
That.
-
Do you realize, Jesus God for us and for the
-
whole world?
-
Do you realize that for the whole world everybody is
-
gonna accept him?
-
Unfortunately, but the grace of God has appeared and will
-
appear to every soul, every soul. There will not be
-
a soul.
-
That gets to heaven and had an argument with God,
-
and say you they.
-
Try to preaching me one more time, you won't have
-
an argument. You won't have to be the stand on.
-
You can say to whatever you want to say about
-
a preacher. Why you love me?
-
Tell God you didn't least for me like you should.
-
You might have realized that your check is on that
-
though not gonna get to heaven.
-
I don't want tut man.
-
You don't know if you're gonna have that can talk
-
that what.
-
The father?
-
Don't say that it's over right now? It doesn't it
-
too long to be thinking a risk like this, yous?
-
This you w ever like the legal files up, you
-
better receive Jesus.
-
In high Sunday gotta hid come.
-
Ya?
-
Oh shot bat shot, got go god, oh shot, Oh
-
time ya to hide all time?
-
Got sun time boom yeah, saying to you my son,
-
you're right.
-
You know I would put that in your art. Why
-
you said they shall be without excuse?
-
There will be no excuse?
-
Who sun to go on?
-
Extra mile? One has to go one go twain.
-
I kick I word.
-
I said I would pull and I was cold, and
-
I would cool. Then I would draw and then I
-
would draw, but my spirit shall not always roup with me,
-
because the person does come to the end of the
-
road discerning conscious, concerning opportunity somebody, and they.
-
Know who they are.
-
Right again, there's their opportunity. You're right by side for
-
their chance, for the differences.
-
In this earth.
-
While they have migrants in their body.
-
Here I say, under you, friend, call the altar now,
-
because today is today.
-
I sound face.
-
Saying good learning. Yeah that long seconds s
