  1. Tonight, I don't count at a coincidence at Oh. I

  2. come to preach just for a little while on a

  3. man and his relationship with God.

  4. That's not my title, but that's the gist of it.

  5. Pastor often tells us he don't understand it when people

  6. say they don't have anything to preach.

  7. Amen.

  8. I begin studying this out in depth. Wednesday I was

  9. torn between three different ones, and Wednesday afternoon I felt

  10. like the Lord gave me the go ahead on this.

  11. And then, if you remember Pastor nearing the end of it,

  12. he began to speak of Daniel, and.

  13. I appreciate confirmation.

  14. Amen, we're gonna turn to Daniel, chapter number six while

  15. you're turning there. I appreciate the opportunity. I appreciate my Pastor,

  16. appreciate the opportunity he's given us just to throw a

  17. little seed in his field.

  18. Amen. You ever seen.

  19. People that they don't quite appreciate something because they're not

  20. the one that worked for it. I don't ever want

  21. to be that. I realized he worked a lot for

  22. these souls that are here.

  23. Amen.

  24. Appreciate Brother Nathaniel for extending the opportunity, and I appreciate

  25. your giving here tonight, Daniel. Chapter number six will start

  26. in verse sixteen. Then the King commanded, and they brought

  27. Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. Now

  28. the King spaken, said, unto Daniel, thy God, whom thou

  29. service continually, he will deliver thee. Then verse number twenty.

  30. And when he had come to the den, he cried

  31. with a lamitaful voice unto Daniel. And the King spake

  32. and said to Daniel, Old Daniel, servant of the Lord,

  33. servant of the Living God, is thy God, whom thou

  34. servest continually able to deliver THEE from the Lians. I

  35. want to preach just for a little while on continually

  36. a Christian. Amen, if you would stretch your hands towards Heaven,

  37. ask the Lord to help us tonight.

  38. We need your spirit in this place.

  39. Jesus, God, would you give us the words to say. God,

  40. help your word not to return void. God, send your

  41. anointing down in this place. God, anoint the ears of

  42. your people. God, anoint these words God, that they may

  43. go out Lord and be received. And we'll give you

  44. the praise the honor in Jesus' name. Amen, just for

  45. a little I want to preach for on a title

  46. content annually a Christian. Daniel is absolutely that at its finest,

  47. And that's the word if you paid attention. In verse

  48. sixteen and verse twenty, the King speaks to Daniel twice.

  49. Amen says, now the King spake unto Daniel, thy God,

  50. whom thou service continually, he will deliver thee. Then in

  51. verse number twenty, he said, whom Daniel's servant of the

  52. living God is thy God, whom thou servicet continually able

  53. to deliver thee from the lions. Very familiar scripture. Portion

  54. of scripture. Here King Darius in the beginning of chapter six.

  55. Here he's got one hundred and twenty princes and three

  56. men presidents, and Daniel is the top of the president's

  57. and the president's rule. These one hundred and twenty princes

  58. and King Darius, for that is, he didn't want to

  59. lose anything in the kingdom. It says in these three presidents,

  60. of whom Daniel was first of the princes, might give

  61. account unto them, and the kingdom should have no damage.

  62. And Daniel, he was preferred over the rest of them.

  63. A man.

  64. And why does the Bible say that that Daniel was

  65. preferred above one hundred and twenty two others, Amen, because

  66. of the excellent spirit that he had within him. And

  67. it's easy for us to think it doesn't matter how

  68. we talk or act around family or friends, or co workers,

  69. or perhaps even our boss. But this is the thing

  70. that made Daniel stand out above the rest was his

  71. excellent spirit, no doubt about it. King Darius was a

  72. man a brilliant mind. Otherwise he wouldn't have become king.

  73. He wouldn't just pick, for lack of better word, simple people,

  74. no doubt about it. The other one hundred, the one

  75. hundred and twenty princes, and the other two presidents were

  76. good men. It is so easy to be a good

  77. person in society. I know a lot of people outside

  78. of our church, co workers, the mechanic you use, just

  79. any your waitress, your waiter.

  80. They're good people.

  81. But being a person with an excellent spirit is a

  82. whole another thing, says Then the presidents and the princes

  83. sought out the king looking for a reason. They're looking

  84. for an occasion, an occasion against Daniel, but they couldn't

  85. find one. That's verse number four. Amen, says, Then the

  86. presidents and princes sought occasion against Daniel concerning the Kingdom.

  87. But they could not none occasion nor fault. For as

  88. much as he was faithful, neither was there any air

  89. or fault found in him. They couldn't find one single

  90. thing that Daniel had done wrong concerning the Kingdom. They

  91. had looked for it. They had tried to find fault

  92. with him. They had tried to find a place where

  93. he was then possibly quite honest with Darius, where maybe

  94. he had They tried. They knew what they knew their job,

  95. so they knew what to look. They knew what your

  96. job you know where if you ever become a supervisor,

  97. you know where the shortcuts are, and they knew the

  98. shortcuts they were taken.

  99. And so they began to look for okay, occasion and.

  100. Reason, but they couldn't find one concerning the kingdom because

  101. he was and the reason why thees is because he

  102. was continually a Christian, He was steadfast.

  103. And in the Kingdom he was honest in his work.

  104. Amen, and I hope to God that the world, if

  105. they look for something in us, and they begin to

  106. look high and low to try to find fault with us,

  107. I hope that in our job they can't find it.

  108. Amen.

  109. The only thing that they could find right wrong with

  110. Daniel was they said, they said, find it against him

  111. concerning the.

  112. Law of his God.

  113. That would be such an honor and a privilege that

  114. to this world, when they try to find something wrong

  115. with you, the only thing they can find wrong with

  116. you is the fact that you go to church on Sunday,

  117. the fact that on the job you don't cuss, the.

  118. Fact that all you try to do is live a

  119. life that's pleasing under gone.

  120. They if they look in your life day to day, will.

  121. They see someone that is steadfast.

  122. Someone that is continually a Christian, someone that the thing

  123. that is on their top priority is just the law

  124. of God. Just to be an upstanding citizen. Not only that,

  125. but to be an upstanding Christian.

  126. And that was all they could find.

  127. Wrong with Daniel was the fact was that he was

  128. obedient to the law of his God. So the rest

  129. of these king presidents and princes they begin to they

  130. come up with this big idea. They all get together

  131. and they form a mutiny. Because Daniel was the top

  132. out of the one hundred and twenty three, he was

  133. number one. There was the one hundred and twenty princes

  134. and then three presidents, and he was the top of

  135. the presidents that had ruled over these princes. So they

  136. all come together and it's time to take old Daniel down.

  137. Why Daniel ain't.

  138. Never done any of them wrong.

  139. I can assure you that he was a man with

  140. an excellent spirit, so he had never done anything wrong.

  141. So they get this big idea to to make this

  142. new law, and they come to King Darius and and

  143. they write a decree.

  144. They have him sign a decree.

  145. They're asking him to sign a petition, and this decree

  146. that if any if any man asked a petition of

  147. any god or any man, that they should be cast

  148. into the den of lions.

  149. And then then.

  150. They say, oh, King established the decree and signed the

  151. writing that it that it be, that it may not

  152. be changed. There was laws and things of that nature

  153. that went king had signed a decree or made or

  154. signed a petition that it couldn't be changed. So King

  155. Darius in verse number nine, he goes ahead and signs

  156. that uh, that decree that if any man worships any

  157. other god, or they ask a petition of any man

  158. or any god, that they be cast into the lions.

  159. Then at this point they feel like they have Daniel

  160. right where they need him. They uh there. They they

  161. know that that Daniel is a praying man. But when

  162. the decree was signed, Daniel, when the when the writing

  163. was signed, he went to his house and began to pray.

  164. I began to wonder what his prayer was. He he

  165. knew what the decree was. He was in the top

  166. of the Kingdom of Babylon.

  167. He knew it.

  168. And it's he says in verse number ten. Now, when

  169. Daniel knew that the writing was signed.

  170. He went into his house. So he did know that

  171. the decree was signed. He didn't know that no man.

  172. Is supposed to be petitioning any other. God saved Darius.

  173. I got to wondering if he went in there and

  174. it said his windows were open. It seemed like to

  175. me that his windows just stayed open, because when he

  176. got there, the windows were already open. Or maybe by

  177. chance he had a wife and she knew old Daniel's

  178. about to get home. Let me go ahead and open

  179. up the windows, because I know he's a faithful man

  180. to God. I know every morning, noon, and night he

  181. praised our God. Maybe by chance his wife already had

  182. his prayer rug laid out for it, already opened his

  183. windows up to Jerusalem, because she knew her man would

  184. pray to her God, to their God Amen. So he

  185. knew this decree had been signed. But he still goes

  186. in there, and he begins to pray to God. And

  187. I wish we had his prayer written down. In my imagination.

  188. I begin to imagine he praying, and I wondered if

  189. he didn't pray to God and say, God, you know

  190. these men are after me.

  191. This decree has been signed by King Darius, who you

  192. put there.

  193. And I wonder if he pray and said, God, I

  194. know I'm heading to the lions.

  195. Then I know that is the place where I'm heading.

  196. No questions asked, no offens or but that's where I'm

  197. gonna end up. I just pray that you'll hate me

  198. there because I have been a faithful servant. So when

  199. all these men come together they find old Daniel praying.

  200. I don't believe one bit that this surprised to Amen.

  201. If they thought there was either they were ready to

  202. get Daniel.

  203. If they thought there was any chance that their plan

  204. wouldn't work, they'd have thought of a different scheme. But

  205. they knew with everything within them, that will find Daniel

  206. in their praying and making petition to God? Does our parents?

  207. It amazes me how much a lot of this service

  208. ties in as much as these men knew that they

  209. were gonna find Daniel.

  210. Doing what he always did. Does your parents, does your mama?

  211. Does your daddy? Does your siblings? Does your pastor? Know

  212. that they'll find you steadily and continually.

  213. In the good and the bad.

  214. Being a Christian, they knew it was one hundred percent

  215. chance our plan will work. I don't think there was

  216. one of them.

  217. That said, Hey, I don't know that this plan right

  218. here is gonna work.

  219. Just imagine with me and the kingdom, if they had

  220. to work over time, Daniel would disappear at that morning time. Amen,

  221. at the morning time, it wasn't even in there, if

  222. it wasn't ot for us morning noon.

  223. So at noon they knew, oh Daniel.

  224. Whether it be his office, whether it be the backside

  225. of a pow the palace, they knew that they would

  226. find Daniel there. Then they answered the king that Daniel.

  227. They didn't say that President Daniel. They said Daniel, that Daniel,

  228. the one the captive of Judah when we took Judah

  229. into captivity, that Daniel.

  230. Darius knew good woll who they were talking about.

  231. All they were trying to do was be little Daniel,

  232. the one that shouldn't even have no place in your kingdom,

  233. that one that's nothing more than a captain. When we

  234. brought Judah into captivity, he should be a servant.

  235. All they were trying to do was be little or

  236. Daniel in the eyes of King Darius. Hallylujah. They're just

  237. in their mind, you know, why do you make him?

  238. I'm sure that maybe second maybe second third presidents, maybe

  239. they were from Babylon, maybe they had been in the

  240. kingdom longer than Daniel. And they get all upset, so

  241. they try to believele Daniel. Amenhuah. They all get together

  242. and they go in there to King Darius. Let's just

  243. imagine they go into his courts and they begin to

  244. tell him that that Daniel, he doesn't listen or regard

  245. the law that you signed. Hold up, this was y'all's idea.

  246. Daniel is just the man that you're after. But they

  247. begin to tell him he doesn't listen, don't even take

  248. the time to regard the law you signed.

  249. But yet he's.

  250. Almost second in your kingdom, they say, But he continued,

  251. he continually makes his petition three times a day. Why

  252. he makes those those petitions? He was continually a Christian.

  253. Amen.

  254. Then then King Darius, when he heard these words, he

  255. was sore displeased with himself. He realized in thy moment,

  256. oh God, I've been I've.

  257. Been duped and deceived. He realized they had got the

  258. best of him.

  259. And I don't know, maybe maybe maybe oh Daniel was

  260. in there when he signed that decree, and maybe he

  261. was a man of such integrity that he didn't even

  262. didn't even open his mouth.

  263. He just said, I let her come as she goes.

  264. Why because I know God will stand by me a Manlujah.

  265. It says that he sat his heart to deliver him.

  266. When when we make a mistake, it is our obligation.

  267. It's our obligation to determine and figure out what we've done.

  268. Wrong and do our dead level best to fix.

  269. Itlujah, Thank you Jesus, King King Dariuslujah.

  270. So after King Darius tried everything you could to save.

  271. Yeah, to save Daniel and deliver him because he had

  272. realized the mistake that he had made. Sometimes we're way

  273. too often we make decisions way too fast.

  274. It come across his desk.

  275. Perhaps there was so many of them in there he

  276. got tired of one hundred and twenty two of.

  277. Them harassing and hounded him about it. That he just said,

  278. get it here, let me sign it. Hellelujah Jesus.

  279. So King Darius, after he had done everything he can,

  280. it said, he spent that evening in verse number fifteen.

  281. Then these men assembled under the king and said under

  282. the said under the king, no old king that belonged

  283. the Midians and the Persians. Is that no decree nor

  284. statue which is made which the king established, may be changed.

  285. Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel and cast

  286. him into the den of lions. Now the king's facan said,

  287. under Daniel, thy God, whom thou servicet continually, he will

  288. deliver thee.

  289. He didn't.

  290. He he said, whom thou servicet continually will deliver thee,

  291. not that he might not that he's seen Daniel's relationship,

  292. and he knew that that God could.

  293. He said he will amen.

  294. After King Darius had put Daniel in the den of lions,

  295. he went to.

  296. His palace.

  297. And passed the night with fasting, the Bible says, and

  298. his sleep went from him.

  299. When when we mess up in life, can we, jr.

  300. Do we have a conscious that we can just sleep

  301. on it?

  302. He had enough integrity in him that he couldn't even sleep.

  303. He said he passed the night with fasting, and his

  304. sleep he went from him because he realized he had

  305. put Daniel in this den of lions.

  306. Amen, Darius and Daniel were not young men all growing up.

  307. When you hear somebody preach Daniel a lot of times,

  308. because it's preached in a youth service a lot of times,

  309. naturally your mind you picture Daniel as a young man.

  310. If you read in chapter number five, verse thirty one,

  311. right here, Darius right here says took the kingdom being

  312. about three score and two years, that's sixty two years

  313. from that. He was sixty two years old when he

  314. took the kingdom. Now, when Judah has took captive, they believe,

  315. certain scholars believe that Daniel when he would have been

  316. took captive, just say he was between the age of

  317. fifteen and eighteen, and then they say he served in

  318. the kingdom for sixty five to seventy five years.

  319. So this puts k This puts old.

  320. Daniel somewhere in his eighties to somewhere in his nineties.

  321. So that's even more of a thumbs up to the

  322. man Eluiah. So, and what I.

  323. Get out of him not being a young man is that, Daria,

  324. you have a lot more time from one to fifteen,

  325. there's not as much time to stumble and to following

  326. people see you do wrongdoings as the time frame from

  327. one to the age of possibly in your nineties. Darius

  328. had seen Daniel. Darius, no doubt, had heard about him.

  329. There was years upon years of times for Daniel to

  330. stumble and to fall. But from the time of captivity

  331. or to the time of let's say eighty or ninety,

  332. it says there was not.

  333. A fault found in him.

  334. It's a lot easier to be an upstanding Christian from

  335. the time of our youth than it is from the

  336. time of.

  337. Our youth until we're an outre.

  338. Soir. Darius had seen Daniel from let's say, from his

  339. youth to his old but he still saw that excellent spirit.

  340. Inning that Daniel had from his youth.

  341. He still saw it inning when they grew old together.

  342. I hope to God that when this youth group grows

  343. all together, that we.

  344. Are still just as on fire as you are now.

  345. King Darious, little man Daniel.

  346. When they grew old together, Darius knew when I become to.

  347. Power, Daniel is the man.

  348. I need, and I whip your God, that when we

  349. grow old, that our pastor would have the faith and

  350. the confidence in us to.

  351. Say they're the one I need.

  352. Darius had many times and the opportunities to see Daniel

  353. stumble and fall, but the Bible plainly says there wasn't

  354. a fall founding. So King Darius, after he had lost

  355. all this sleep and and he had fasted, he and

  356. the Bible says, arose very early in the morning and

  357. win in haste to the den of lions. As I've

  358. already said, he had to go check on his mistake.

  359. He wanted to go see is God.

  360. Gonna?

  361. Is God gonna Overlook, let's just say my mistake.

  362. Because he didn't do it on purpose.

  363. He was Mistakes are all right, it's the reaction to them.

  364. And I'm no, hey calling a sin of mistake, all right.

  365. It was a complete, total, unplanned deal to put Daniel

  366. in this king. So he wakes up very very early

  367. in the morning and makes haste to the den, And

  368. when he come to the Din of lines, he cried under.

  369. He cried under Daniel, Oh, Daniel, serving up the Living

  370. God is thy God whom thou service continually able to

  371. deliver thee from the lions.

  372. God honored Daniel's life.

  373. God honored the fact that Daniel, in the midst of Biblin,

  374. he done his best to be a Christian continually.

  375. So when Daniel.

  376. Gets thrown down in the lions, into the den of lions,

  377. God honors that and puts his head of protection around him.

  378. Daniel's response, Daniel says, O, King live forever. Why isn't

  379. Daniel mad at King Darius? How many times do we

  380. find ourselves just a little bit hot under the call

  381. with someone.

  382. Makes a mistake towards us, he says.

  383. And Daniel says, Oh, King live forever. He didn't give

  384. him a piece of his mind. He didn't lose his

  385. temper on um. Why because he still had the excellent

  386. spirit that he had when God throwed him in that test.

  387. And when God throwed him in that trial, he still

  388. had the excellent spirit when Darius had him cast in

  389. there as when Darius come to get him out. God

  390. will say, and test and trials to test if that

  391. excellent spirit that we had when we writ it to it,

  392. if we'll still have it when we come out.

  393. We have to have We have to be a Christian continually.

  394. Daniel could have so easily lost his testimony in that moment.

  395. All them years.

  396. That he is spent with Darius, all them times he

  397. counseled Darius, no doubt, you don't have someone in your

  398. kingdom with an excellent spirit and with the desertment and

  399. the gifts that Daniel had that.

  400. You don't lean on.

  401. So Daniel in a short moment, it's so fast, all

  402. them years that it took to build that reputation in

  403. a moment, he could have lost it in a moment.

  404. The years and all the eyes and all the times

  405. you didn't say a cuss word, and all the times

  406. you walked out on good bye Joe, just in a moment,

  407. just in a short time.

  408. What took you years to.

  409. Build up, what reputation took you years to build, you

  410. couldn't lose in a moment.

  411. Hallelujah.

  412. When when Darius come to that that dinner, and Daniel

  413. didn't start yelling and hollering at him, and the only

  414. thing he heard was all King live forever. He said,

  415. I knew Daniels wasn't just a fascad. I knew Daniel

  416. never fooled me like the rest of them did. I

  417. knew that excellent spirit that I thought I decerned in him.

  418. I knew it was real.

  419. Daniel replies, My God has sent his angel and has

  420. shut the lion's mouth that they have not hurt me.

  421. Why didn't they hurt him? Let's read. I believe it's

  422. verse twenty two.

  423. My God hath sent his angel and have one angel

  424. multiple lions.

  425. Amen.

  426. My God hath sent his angel and has shut the

  427. lion's mouths, that they have.

  428. Not hurt me.

  429. For as much as before him, in innocence was found

  430. in me, and also before thee or King, I have

  431. done no hurt. Daniel didn't even hurt the lions there.

  432. I know it's not worded there, but they were so

  433. tained and docile. Daniel could have been like David if

  434. he felt like him. Daniel could have felt that spirit

  435. rise up hit him and he could have torn him.

  436. He could have when they went to pull him out,

  437. he could to come walking out with the head of

  438. every line, and the idea I ain't got all them

  439. tighter around his belt.

  440. He was a den of lines. I don't think he'd

  441. have had enough hands to carry their heads out.

  442. Hall Elujah, Hell Elujah.

  443. If these two men wouldn't have been innocent, he said,

  444. it's in that latter part of twenty two. Innocence was

  445. found in me, and also before thee if they will,

  446. if if Daniel, what I'm trying to say here is

  447. if God decides to put you in a test, and

  448. if God decides to put you in the trial of

  449. your life, you better hope you're what you told God

  450. you are. And I understand God knows all things. But

  451. Daniel was what he said he was. Daniel had the

  452. spirit that other thought he had. For if he wouldn't

  453. have have that innocence that was found in him, then

  454. when God put him in there, and when God allowed

  455. King Darius to sign that decree, then he would have

  456. been the shine.

  457. So when Daniel comes to that that when he when

  458. Darius comes to that den.

  459. And he hears Old Daniel say, uh, Daniel gives him

  460. that beautiful greeting, then King Darius was exceeding glad for

  461. Daniel Amena. So he tells him to take Daniel up

  462. out of there, out of the dinner lions. It says

  463. that no manner of hurt was found upon him, because

  464. this is verse twenty three, because he believed.

  465. In his God.

  466. Then was the king exceedingly glad for him. He was

  467. glad for his friend. He was glad because God had

  468. fixed his mistake. He was so God, God, when I

  469. was deceived, you made a waut when I didn't have

  470. that discernment to realize that plan.

  471. Was nothing more than I set up. You clean it

  472. all up.

  473. Eliah the Louder of twenty three. So Daniel was taken

  474. up out of the den, and no manner of hurt

  475. was found upon him.

  476. Why because he believed in his.

  477. Godlaha verse number twenty four.

  478. I want to read this.

  479. And the king commanded, and they brought these men which

  480. had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den

  481. of lions, them their children, and their wives, and the

  482. lions and had and the lions had the mastery of them,

  483. and break break all their bones in pieces, or ever

  484. they came at the bottom of the den. I got

  485. to wondering why Darius and I understand things were done

  486. a lot. There's a lot of laws and reasons why

  487. we can't do a lot of things in the Bible.

  488. Pre prophets would take false prophets and hum and cut

  489. them all up into pieces. I got to thinking, why

  490. did why did God have old Darius get it in

  491. his crawl that these men there's a lot of people. Now,

  492. I just thought of that, that Dinner Lions definitely was

  493. an absolute.

  494. Den of lions.

  495. Why in twenty four they cast them into the den,

  496. into the den of lions, them their children and their wives,

  497. and the lions had the mastery of them.

  498. There was one hundred and twenty two.

  499. Men that come against Daniel, and they cast one hundred

  500. and twenty two let's just say they all had a wife,

  501. and let's just say they all had kids, and they

  502. devoured them, crush their bones as they come to the bottom.

  503. That's why the Dinner Lions to eat up that many people.

  504. One little lion, two little lions, stream little lions more

  505. than likely going to fire a few hundred people.

  506. And I got to thinking, why would Darius throw them

  507. all in there? Because nowadays we wouldn't. Nowadays we couldn't.

  508. And I got to thinking that.

  509. Was God's way of disproving and discrediting.

  510. All the dollars You say, why is that people are

  511. are imbeciles.

  512. People are dumb enough to say all the lines weren't

  513. even hungry.

  514. I don't even know the timeframe. Perhaps there was minutes,

  515. perhaps there was hours.

  516. After Daniel gets hoisted up out of that den, just

  517. a short time.

  518. Oh, Darius wouldn't gonna wait too long.

  519. Because he knew what these men could do to his kingdom.

  520. So let's say a few minutes or a few hours

  521. from Daniel and pulled up power to them getting through.

  522. Then they all get devoured, so no one could use

  523. the stupid excuse. So oh, they didn't touch Daniel. They

  524. weren't that hungry. If they were as hungry as they

  525. acted with one hundred and twenty two men plus their

  526. wives and kids, imagine what they'd have done when one

  527. long man got dropped in there. It's like having it's

  528. like having one hundred men that have been fighting in

  529. afghanist stand for a week that ain't a choir, drop

  530. one rabbi in between them and say how.

  531. They act.

  532. God totally in his great power, and that amazing mind,

  533. that He's God took away any excuse or any way

  534. anyone could try to discredit what he had saved Daniel from. Heah,

  535. brother Jesse, if you come get.

  536. Us a song. God honors Daniel.

  537. Because, as Darius states twice, the God whom thou service continually,

  538. and then he says that the God thou service continually

  539. is able, he will deliver thee.

  540. It is so important Daniel.

  541. Daniel was such an example to King Darius of how

  542. steady and how faithful he was to God.

  543. And I gotta come in Darius for the fact that he.

  544. Didn't get married, that Daniel went in direct contradiction of

  545. his ardor.

  546. Darius.

  547. The Bible don't say it, but I believe Darius had

  548. that excellent spirit within him.

  549. And Daniel is.

  550. An absolute extraordinary example to Darius of what a Christian

  551. should act like, what a Christian should talk like. In

  552. the time of pressure, when he was thrown in the

  553. den of lions in there and the very man that

  554. put him there comes up and he says, O, King

  555. live forever. He showed him what it was like to

  556. have a heart of gold.

  557. Amen.

  558. First Chronicle sixteen eleven says seek the Lord and his strength,

  559. seek His face continually. So I'm thirty four and one

  560. says I will bless the Lord at all times. His

  561. praises shall be continual in my mouth.

  562. We must strive. It must be our top priority to

  563. continually strive.

  564. And do our dead level best to be the best Christian.

  565. This side of heaven, A man if we will.

  566. Let's all come around these altars and pray to God

  567. and ask God to set that desire deep in our

  568. heart to continually be an example to our friends, our families,

  569. our siblings, our coworkers, and to continually be a Christian

  570. before this world.

  571. Amen,
