will light up your day today. I would like to share now on the

theme that we have for this year. Right, so we can see Heaven

rules. Yeah, Daniel chapter four, verse twenty six. So we're going

to go from our Daniel chapter four today. So I'll take us through Daniel

chapter four a part of it and I felt led to go back to the

basics, and so it really Heaven rules? Then how is our worship unto

the God of Heaven today? All right? So that's what I will be

sharing about today, okay, which is about worship back to the basics.

It sounds basic, sounds something that we've all learned before, I believe.

But again, if Heaven really rules, then how is our worship? Are

we really worshiping the God of heaven? Ement? Okay? So now,

so let us go to Daniel chapter four without going too much time. Yes,

let's go straight to it Daniel chapter four. Now I will start reading

from verse nineteen all the way to verse thirty seven, and somewhere in between

you will see the verse twenty six. Okay, and that's where we get

the theme for this year. Now, but before that, before we read

Daniel chapter four, just to give us a bit of background, which I'm

sure we have been sharing quite a bit about Daniel for the past one two

three years, you know in x Church. So in Daniel chapter one to

chapter three, we have seen how Daniel and his three friends, it was

mentioned in the first three chapters right of how they were taken captive to the

land of Babylon under the reign of King Nebucanaiser or some people call nebukanazerchever way

you want, I prefer to call nebue Okay, so King Nobucanazer. And

how Daniel when he was first brought in into the land of Babylon, and

where King Nebukaneeser was looking out for young men to serve in his kingdom,

and he found Daniel and his three friends. And Daniel and his three friends

they purpose in their hearts not to defile themselves in chapter one right by eating

the king's delicacies. Remember they asked, and that's where they come the Daniel

fast. Remember, so the whole Daniel fast, the type of fast that

we first came from the Boko Daniel Okay, where Daniel asked whether it's okay,

King, if I can just eat vegetables and drink water, I don't

want to eat all the delicacies that King you placed in front of me.

They do not want to defile themselves, okay, okay. So we just

finished our u turn as well, not too long ago. So if that's

so you did, or Daniel fast, that's where the context came from.

And later on we see how King the Buccanezer had a dream and how Daniel

first interpreted his dream. And then later on in chapter tree is where we

had the team for last year. Our god is avil okay, so where

Daniel suddenly disappeared in the picture and we and the story was about Daniel's three

friends instead share drank, me Shank and at Bannigo right, okay, okay,

how they stood firm not worshiping the statue that King no Bukaniser has created.

So basically we can see that from the beginning, when the moment Daniel

was in the job, in his job right working for the King no Boukanizer,

he has made his stand. King no Bukanizer is aware of this god

that the Hebrew serf or the god that Daniel serve Okay, so we can

see in this life of King No Bukanizer that even though chapter one two three

he acknowledged that there is a god, that there's Daniel's God that is real,

but it hasn't come to a point where it was personal to him,

whereby he made that personal change even in his life to follow this god.

Okay. So then come chapter four when this King no Bukanizer had another dream,

and that he asked Daniel to interpret the dream. So I cut shot

jumped straight into verse nineteen where Daniel is interpreting the dream of King No Bukaniser,

and that's where we got a team for this year. And from there

I will move on. Yes, that's right, thank you x TV so

verse nineteen. Then Daniel, oh this, I would like it in the

New Living Translation if possible, because I'll be reading from the New Living Translation.

Okay, so I shall read. Upon hearing this, Daniel also known

thank you XTV as Belle Ti Shiasa was overcome for a time, frightened by

the meaning of the dream. Then the king said to him, bell Ti

Shiusa, don't be alarmed, but the dream and what it means, Belle

tishus are, replied, I wish the events foreshadowed in this dream would happen

to your enemies, my lord, and not to you. So when Daniel

got the interpretation from God, he was afraid. Okay, but the King

said, please just tell me. So there he goes the inverse twenty.

The tree you saw, old King, so Daniel speaking to the King.

Ya. The tree you saw was growing very tall and strong, reaching high

into the heavens for all the world to see. It had fresh green leaves

and was loaded with fruit for all to eat, while animals live in its

shade and bird's nest in its branches. That tree, your Majesty is you,

for you have grown strong and great. Your greatness reaches up to heaven,

and your rule to the ends of the earth. Then you saw a

messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and sing. Cut down

the tree and destroy it. But leave the stump and the roots in the

ground, bound with a band of iron and bronze, and surrounded by tender

grass. Let him be drenched with the due of heaven. Let him live

with the animals of the field for seven periods of time. So that was

what King the Buccanist saw in his dream. This is what the dream means,

your majesty, and what the Most High has declared will happen to my

lord the King. You will be driven from human society, and you will

leave in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a

cow, and you will be drenched with the due of Heaven. Seven periods

of time will pass while you leave this way, until you learn that the

Most High rule over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he

chooses. But the stump and roots of the tree were left in the ground.

This means that you will receive your kingdom back again when you have learned

church that Heaven rules Verse twenty six. This is where our team comes from.

Verse twenty seven. King Nabukaneser, please accept my advice, stop sinning

and do what is right. Break from your wicked pass and be merciful to

the poor. Perhaps then you will continue to prosper Verse twenty eight. But

all these things so after he's speaking, ready, all these things did happen

to King Nobukaneser. Twelve months later, he was taking a walk on the

flat roof of the Royal Palace in Babylon. As he looked out across the

city. He said. The king said, look at this great city of

Babylon. By my own mighty power, I have viewed this beautiful city as

my royal residence, to display my majestic splendor. Heart hacay whoever you imagine?

All right. While these words were still in his mouth, a voice

called down from heaven, Oh King, no Buccanaser, this message is for

you. You are no longer ruler of this kingdom. You will be driven

from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals,

and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass

while you live this way, until you learn repeat again that the Most High

rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.

That same hour, the judgment was fulfilled, and King the Buccannaser was driven

from human society. He ate grass like a cow. He was drenched with

you of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as

eagles feathers, and his nails were like bird's claws. After this time had

passed, I the Buccanaser, look up to heaven. My sanity returned,

And this is after seven years there, and I praised and worshiped the most

high. That's what King theo Bukaner said. And on the one who lives

forever, his rule is never lasting, and his kingdom is eternal. All

the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he

pleases. Among the angels of heavens, and among the people of the earth.

No one can stop him or say to him, what do you mean

by doing these things? When my sanity returned to me, so did my

honor and glory and kingdom. My advisors and nobles sought me out, and

I was restored as hate of my kingdom, with even greater honor than before.

Now I, no buccaneer, praise and glorify and honor the King of

heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to

humble the proud. Now we read from nineteen to verse thirty seven. A

right, So in all these world there were many years that passed by.

Just take note, okay, So God warned no Buccaneser. And how long

did God give no buccanes a chance to change quez I should give a price

twelve months, hundred months? All right, So as to don Okay,

So he gave King the Boucaneser twelve months. You know, soa isn't God

so kind? He gave you a warning and he gave him one year to

repent. Then after that, King a Bukanizer still choose to harden his heart,

and he can still say all these things, I who created whatever?

And before he can finish his sentensity, God pronounced the judgment. Okay,

so we know that. So for seven years he was like a animal.

He became mad. Basically, he lost his sanity like Oranguila ladad, and

he lived as an animal all right during that time. And after that we

saw inverse thirty four straight away after that time passed King a Boucanizer. He

explained that after that my sanity returned. And then I understand that is the

most high to rules. Amen. Amen. Now I have a snide because

in this scripture that we have read, the most high rules has been mentioned

many times, so right heaven rules mentioned in verse twenty six and inverse twenty

five. The verse before it says, until you learn that the most high

rules right, and then later inverse thirty two, we repeat again until you

learn that the most high rules. So until we learn that the Most High

rules, we will have to face our consequences. Right, Okay, So

we can see that in these verses, and later in chapter five again it

is repeated. Okay, Now, what was the response by King of Boucanezer.

But church only after seven years plus the one year of chance? Eight

years only after eight years? Then any he do these? Lt? I

don't know whether some of us called an eight years to live or not?

How you know why not? Yeah, we don't even know whether how long

do we have to live? So he took him eight years? But praise

the Lord. He praised and he worshiped the Most High and honored the one

who lives forever. For me, what does it mean Heaven rules? What

does it mean to you when we say heaven rules? To me? When

I read the scripture, it just shows me and shouts out to me.

Heaven rules means the Most High God rules? Amen? And if the Most

High God, as described by Daniel and King the Bokanazer, after eight years,

he said that what this Most High God is just, and it's true

he's able to humble the proud. No one can stand up against him.

Amen. Amen. So he has the final say so if Heaven rules,

or if the Most High God really rules in our lives, how my question

is, I would like to go back to the basics, and that's what

I want to share about today. How is our worship unto our Most High

God? Today? Okay, so Bobby, do a series. I don't

think I can finish everything today, but going back to the basics again and

going back to actually our five ws right that we believe in the DNA of

Excharch. So the first w that we believe in excharch is worship. So

and I'm drawing from Pastor Canne's book that he has written, The Experience.

How many if you have read that book, The Experience about the DNA of

Acts. If you have not, I encouraged to pick up that book from

our revel store. Isn't awesome book is? It looks very basics, right,

but it's so important And if we can live by this right every day

of our lives, I think we'll be a very victorious Christian. All right,

So worship. So drawing from that, even that chapter, I couldn't

even draw everything. But today I planned to cover two points. Okay,

if I can about worship. So drawing from the book that Pastor wrote.

I want to draw on worship is surrender. And today we didn't discuss the

songs are dual, okay, but I believe that the song is anointed of

the Lord as well. Yeah, even as we surrender, I surrender all

a surrender to the Lord. So worship, what does it mean to worship?

Worship is surrender. And the next one I will go to if we

have time, is worship's small. Okay, if you read the book again,

yes, so good, Okay. So first one I want to talk

about worship is surrender. Now we all know worship is a lifestyle. It's

not just about coming here and then we sing songs in church. That's all

included as all in that right, okay, So not just on the Sunday

is our every day. But there's this one element about worship that I would

like to draw us too now and from here I would like to turn us

to Joshua. Okay. And so now all of us know the Fifth Book

of the Bible, in the Old Tasman, Joshua is the man who succeeded

Moses, right, okay, So as we try to understand worship as surrendered

to the Lord, he was he succeeded Moses as the leader of the Israelites,

and God appointed Joshua to lead the people into conquering the land correct that

he has promised them. Now, because the people of Israel did not were

complaining and they sin against God. God already said that generation of the Issuelites

will perish and only the next generation will inherit the promised land. So up

to the time of Moses, there were all the people died who came out

of Egypt or right, so it was their next generation that are to enter

the promise land. So this is when Joshua was there, and he is

to lead the people, the new generation, into conquering the land that God

has promised them. So if you read Joshua one all the way to Joshua

six. So in Josha chapter five and six, we will see how Joshua

was faced with the challenge of conquering his first city, the city of Jericho.

I'm sure we all know the story and correct of We do this in

Sunday school. So how the issue lines are much around Jericho Sila and then

after that for seven six days, seven days? Right are they to seven

times? And then they shout correct, Okay. So he Joshua was trained

as a warrior, okay. But and he was probably at that time when

God already told him that you are to conquer all this land. And they

just only crossed the Jordan River, okay. So just like how God parted

the rad Sea during the time of Moses, God also parted the Jordan River

during the time of Joshua. So they parted and they went through the Jordan

River and going to take the city of Jericho, all right, So he

probably is strategizing just like a warrior would do. But in the midst of

this, at the end of chapter five, we see an encounter of Joshua

with a man that has a capital m okay. Okay. So this man

was standing opposite him with a sword drawn in his hand. So of course

Joshua didn't know it at first, but this man was God himself coming towards

him. So just so, as a warrior or as the leader of the

army of Israel, is natural for him to straight away if there's an enemy

coming, I will protect my enemy, normal, all right, Okay,

So let's read from Joshua chapter five, verses thirteen to fifteen. I have

a slight for that, Yes, thank you XTV. So let's read this

is a new King James version. And it came to pass when Joshua was

by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold a man

stood opposite him, which is sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went

to him and said to him, are you for us? Or for our

adversaries? So he with a big capital he which is God, said no,

But as commander of the army of the Lord, I have now come.

And Joshua fell on his face to the ground and worshiped, and said

to him, what does my lord say to his servant? Then the commander

of the Lord's army say to Joshua, take your center off your food for

the place where you stand. It's holy, sounds familiar right of what was

said to Moses at the boning bush. Okay, And Josha did so now.

So it's a logical question that Joshua asked the man. He's like,

he didn't recognize it was God. He's like another soldier from the enemy maybe,

and a sword john his head. So you are you for us,

await us or not against us? Right? Are you now? And the

response of the man is no. Another version says neither now okay. But

the no here does a sound like a way to me, a way proper

answer. Joshua is asking a question, you are for me or against me?

Nom okay? So in a sense, it's like as all this man

refused to answer Josha's questions a question because it is not the right question,

and it's not not the most important question at that time. I'm trying to

draw to a point. The question really wasn't if Joshua asking the Lord,

are you for us or against us? The question is supposed to be is

Joshua on God's side or not? Whether God is on his side or not?

Get it? So God is on our side, but the question for

us is are we on God's side? All right? So the God did

not answer Joshua's question because the real question is it's not about whether the Lord

was on his side, but the proper question is whether Joshua was on the

Lord's side. And the moment Joshua recognizes that the man is God, he

falls faith down in reverence and worship. So that day our warrior became a

worshiper, all right. So Joshua's total submission to Jesus or to God shows

that he knows who is really in charge. I remember he Joshua was called

to be in charge. Is a natural response when you are in charge,

you will just take charga okay. But that moment that was changed. He

knew it was not him in charge, but he was God in charge.

Okay. And with God wing in charge, it's almost a guarantity that you're

going to win, okay, because because when we follow after the commander or

the army of the Lord, how can we lose? Right church? Okay.

So that is the moment that God needed to God needed Joshua to have

that encounter with him first. So later, as we read in josh chapter

six, right, we will say that after this encounter, God continues to

instruct the people of Asia that time, and the instructions was a very off

in a sense of from the mind of any typical warrior in any history.

You read, now God in war, right, got much in silence or

not and then shout, I don't do anything care. Imagine you were Joshua

and you were the people of issue at a time. Okay, sadom,

God, you are mad or we are mad? Now? Okay? Okay.

So God continues to in charge the people to march around once a day

for six days in utter silence. Okay, silence, and then imagine other

people in Jericho, they're booing at demo ooh you crazy people, imagine.

Okay. Then on the seven day, not only one time, seven times

okay, and then only at the seven times shout when the priests blow the

trumpets. So, memo, this is not something that Joshua is used to

do. A warrior would fight. That's a natural thing. Okay, that's

their natural role that I need to play. Okay, not marching in silence

and then shouting at the end. Okay, so and not doing anything else.

So when he heard but when he heard the voice of God, when

he had the encounter with God, he chose to go by faith and not

by sight, even though it did not make sense to him. Joshua obeyed,

and his obedience caused the walls of Jericho to come tumbling down. And

we know that. And they did not need to do anything, do you

know that? Are not? They just simply march and then they shout and

then put everything done for them. They just go in picked everything out.

That's it, Okay, so the Lord delivered the entire city into the hands

of the israel life. So when God appeared to Joshua, he had come

to conquer Israel before Israel could conquer anything else in the Promised name, because

Israel has to be firstly conquered by God first. You understand, not that

means the trust that Israel has shouldn't be on their weapons, but in total

trust and submission to God. And when Joshua gave that total submission to God,

it shows that and he represents the country of our Israel, that they

are conquered by the Lord and fully surrendered to the Lord. So I have

a slight for this. Joshua surrendered to the Lord before his enemies surrendered to

him. I repeat, Joshua surrendered to the Lord before his enemy surrendered to

him. Do we want our enemies? So what our enemies today? Not

your husband, wife, are not your brothers, Noah, Noah, your

real enemy is the devil. We all know that, gay we are we

are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers or right.

So our problems, our challenges, or even the your own our own

stubbornness, sometimes right or a sickness, maybe alack, we need bad habits,

maybe a temper that you're you feel like, oh, this is oh

I don't want to know. I want to I want this to change,

I want this to go, or even unforgiveness. So if we, if

if we want all these enemies in our lives right to surrender, let us

first surrender our hearts and our lives to the Lord. Amen, just like

what Joshua did, and let us continuously be conquered by the Lord. So

before we can conquer anything in our lives, any challenge, any giants in

our lives, let us firstly be conquered by the Lord. Amen. Can

everybody say amen? Amen? Right? So do you know that in his

lifetime Joshua defeated thirty one kings and conquered thirty one kingdoms. That is like

many more times more than his predecessor moanses right, many times more? All

right? So God is deeply interested in our lives. Yes, he is

concerned with all our enemies, right, But you know what, He is

deeply and most interested in you and I in our lives. He loves us,

He loves you, he loves me, He loves us jealously and desires

us for himself, and he made us for his pleasure. So church worship

is surrender, okay. And surrender is learning to pray God's will to be

done in our lives and in our situations now. And surrender just means we

do not demand that God solves our problems or the world's problems according to what

we want or how we think that it's going to be. Okay. Instead,

we ask God to work it out according to his perfect plan. So

some things for us to think about, so that the first one is that

you know, what are some of our enemies and if you want our enemies

to surrender? But we we have the first surrender to God. And have

we surrendered our lives full lead to him? Are we allowing Jesus to take

control of the will, take the will in our lives? You know what

I mean? Okay? You are the driver. You you are in charge

of the whole vehicle, and you you steer the direction of that vehicle.

Right, So, but are you allowing Jesus in the driver's sea to hold

a will, to wield your life? Right to drive your life? Students,

let's ask the Lord to lead you or you know, when we make

a decision or where you should further your studies, whether you should go overseas.

You know, parents, if you are also thinking for your children,

you know these decisions. Surrender to the Lord. What you should study,

what subjects you should take, what college you should go to? Young working

adults, which job you should take? Which property to invest in? Oh,

choosing your life partner, Let's look to Jesus and let's surrender our lives

fully to him. Amen. Amen. Now in Proverbs to encourage us,

prove chapter three, verse five to six. I think some of us can

memorize these verses. Right. What does he say? Trust in the Lord

with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding, sick his

will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Is exactly what Joshua did, Okay, He did not depend on his

own warrior understanding. And in sometimes our experience, in our our knowledge,

sometimes we think we know better. Okay, but that's where we have to

surrender to the Lord. And worship is surrender. So worship in our lives.

It's not just singing songs. And that's great and coming, and you

know, being in corporate worship, but it is surrendering, surrendering to Him,

giving him the wills of our lives every day in every decision that we

make, Amen. Jeremiah twenty nine, verse eleven. It says, for

I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts

are peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Sometimes I say that I remind my children sometimes you know, Mum knows

what I'm thinking about you. Sometimes they need their assurance, you know what

I mean. Yeah, as young people grow up, they may think that,

oh, you don't understand, you don't know, but yeah, but

we are. We know the thoughts. So as as parents, you know

the thoughts. You know your thoughts about your child, Okay, says the

Lord. But how much more our father God, he knows the thoughts that

he thinks towards us. Thoughts are peace and not of evil, to give

all of us a future and a hope. Amen, Amen, hallelujah.

So that is the first one that I want to share on Yes, by

the time now, I would like to move on to share that not only

worship and how is our worship until the Most High God and if Heaven rules

in our hearts. How is our worship? We surrender even as we worship

the Lord. Now worship is small. So I also took this from the

Experience book. Now did you know that God can be as tangible to you?

Okay? At Allowed and Peck Church. Okay, our our century is

quite pack. Okay, we're one of the bigger church plans in our local

church plants here in exchurch. Okay, So imagine now you're here, or

imagine when we have our good Friday service, our Easter Sunday service, and

it was a combined service and is packed pack until it overflows outside and inside

and all right. So God can be as tangible to us in Allowed and

Peck Church service as when we are alone, all alone in our cars,

in our rooms but starting the traffic jam, we are doing a shower or

whatever. You know, God can be as real. So true worship can

be as intimate and powerful on Sunday as it is on our Monday's ement.

So true worship does not need bright lights. We have lights here. Praise

God for lights or some chungay sound system or right, not expensive and sophisticated

ones not a problem to have it. Praise God, We have it.

State of the art age a stage. You know, the stage are very

all equipped and all nor a super adrenaline pump worship leader here trying to,

you know, get us all to worship. So worse, true worship is

not just that, because all these we do, we do unto the Lord,

and we give God our best right. So the days that you and

I were too hurt and loss for words to even pray, God hurt each

and eView of our prayer. God hurt the God. I can't do this

anymore. Cries in your shower, in your bedroom, in your office,

in your kitchen, you go and hide in your office, soilered. God

hurt every cry, and he counted and he collected every tier. Amen.

Amen. So meaning worship is not just when we come corporately together even individually

in wherever you are, you worship the Lord. So the word worshiped.

So we're going to study a bit of when it is first mentioned, and

when we look at the first mention of the word worship in the Bible,

it really doesn't depict a very big scenario, all right. So I said

worship is small just means that worship is not big, which I will explain

in a while. Later. Okay. So the first mention of worship is

found in Genesis chapter twenty two. This is where I'm sure some of us

know Abraham okay, went to supposedly go and worship and supposedly supposed to sacrifice

his son Isaac. Okay, because that's what God has asked him to do.

So it is a famous story of Abraham and Sarah who were well advanced

in age and without children, and God promised Abraham a child. Okay,

And I push about this some time ago earlier, this ye, right about

a child or no last week? I remember, okay, a child choose

Sarah and how they waited even after the promise was given. It was so

many years before the promise came to pass. Okay. And after the child

is born, God shows up again, and this time God asked for us

for the sun, say Abraham, sacrifice your son. I don't know what

went to Abraham's mind, but we knew that we know that God did this

to test what was in Abraham's heart. Amen. So at that time some

scholars predicted that Isaac was probably can we can be even thirty years old at

the time, okay, And imagine Abraham is worried by one hundred and thirty

something. All right, Okay, So Abraham's old man, and Isaac is

not a little boy at that time. Okay, So Genesis twenty two,

verse five, I'll show you on the I have a slide for that.

Stay here with the donkey, Abraham told the servants the boy and I will

travel a little further. We will worship there, and then we will come

right back. So let's see from the Bible what it does. Worship means.

This is the first mention of the word worship in the Bible. So

worship for Abraham that morning? How did they look like? Far from a

comfortable air condition room, right, correct? Okay, fully sound proof or

no? He was probably he was carrying the whatever that's needed for the sacrifice,

and he was climbing up this mountain, the rocky mountain trail, and

leading his beloved son Isaac. Well, the sun is not that's more anymore.

But he's leading him to the sacrifice and leading the sun like a lemono

for slaughter. Okay, not like yeah, let's go party or birthday party.

Okay, okay. No cupboard, no choir, no band, no

sound system. And yet he's worshiped Abraham's worship, which we're going to nail

it later. Later we will see that it's just pure obedience to God.

Right worship that day will become one of the most we told stories right of

radical faith and obedience. In fact, if we read the whole chapter twenty

two, right, it's such a wild chapter because I felt that God was

like so impressed out. But but God blessed abrahams with blessings that it's just

a wild blessing gay, So if you read on in chatter twenty two,

so in fact, out of Abraham's world ship that day, God honored him

with a personal promise that his descendants will flourish at the stars and they will

always find victory over the enemies, and that God promised to bless the world.

True, Abraham, do you know how awesome is that that one man's

faith and obedience and you and I today are ripping the blessing? Do you

know that? What a promise? Okay, So similar to how Extra started

as well. Okay, when we say worship, worship doesn't mean that he

has to be big. Worship can be small. Okay, So we started

with minimal. Yeah, but it was at that time, the very very

early days. Of course, Parsa Canneth was the first worship leader and the

first musician, so he was with his three courts and uh, and it

was three people at that time, so three people and then Pasha can be

three courts. I think you heard the story before right then. I think

soon after that, I really cannot remember it exactly. The Sunday after or

two sundays after then, we had a few more joining handful of us.

Then we just started the worship banner. So I think, if I'm not

wrong either, I'm the first keyboardies and the other girl was speaking of what

she readed and the next Sunday we switched. Okay, so she became the

Okay. God zooms in in every worship church plan, small or big,

zooms in and he sees each one of us. So our worship to

Him cannot be substituted by the worship of the crowd around us. Means you

cannot borrow or a pin jam Okay, somebody else's worship and I ride on

the worship cannot cannot kak okay, Or you borrow the band, oh joel

is what you reading? Or the band is what I just ride on it?

Okay. So, but so the band and the crowd cannot do worship

on our behalf. For my behalf, I have to worship the Lord myself.

Our worship remains between us and him. Think about King David. Before

he was kinger, he was a shepherd boy. Okay. Now do you

know the psalms that you read? Hundred fifty psalms? I've yet to do

my research and my study I will okay, how many psalms in one hundred

Okay, alone with his father's ship. Then David, starting small,

he went on to be one of the most renowned worshippers in the Bible,

and he wrote most of the most powerful psalms that we are reading today.

And so we can worship the Lord in the crowd, and we must.

We can also worship the Lord alone, and we must. You can worship

a lot in the in between. So if you read past this book,

we are on stage or off the stage, meaning not only when our worship

service starts. We worship the Lord as a lifestyle. We worship the Lord

as we are coming to church. We worship the Lord the night before and

the day before and worship team last time we'll past the say will always remind

us because she was our first worship pastor what do we do on the Saturday

night will depend on how powerful our Sunday worship will be because that is the

sacrifice, and that God sees the preparation and the sacrifice. That is real

worship. So that's something we have to ask ourselves. Are we giving him

our best worship? I worship the Lord because I try to think God,

if I worship you, yes, I willship God. Yesterday by even packing

all my kids back. What should the songs get everything ready to mean that

it's my worship, but may be different from you. For me, I

pack, I get ready. I do not want to be rushing on the

Sunday morning. I get ready. I prepare. And even for us serving

I feel sometimes the hardest are is the worship doing holidays on I don't

know whether you feel the same note especially Chinese New Year, because you eat

Do you understand? Yeah? Yeah, okay? We worship doing our

breaks, doing our downtimes, downtimes meaning our off times, no our holidays,

our off days or our well deserved timeouts. When you take your animas

to break, you take your whatever break with your families when we let our

head downs. You know, when we are ourselves right or we have our

personal private moments, we worship. So true worship require us, as we

can see in the story of Abraham, and that's where the word worship comes

from. Obedience, discipline, self control, fear of God. It is

when nobody is looking. That's where true worship happens. Amen, Amen David.

Yeah, true worship happens when nobody is working. So worship is small.

So if Heaven rules and the most high rules, let us start by

taking personal responsibility for our worship to God. Be it small as I say

small as in be it alone, personal with the Lord, or be it

big in a crowd. In corporate worship, which is equally important, we

come together and we worship God together. So if you have an rules and

if the most high rules, let us start taking our worship seriously. Are

we worshiping God even when it's small, when it's big in a crowd or

alone. Let us start by pouring out our hearts to the Lord. Amen.
