  1. You're listening to a message to go from ass church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Let's begin the message today, God's heart beat

  3. its missions. What do I mean by this? So let's look at the

  4. first definition of the word mission. This word is without the letter S at

  5. the end, and what it means is a cause, an aim, a

  6. purpose. So all of us here have a mission in life, a mission.

  7. Even in your company, in your job, in your family. You

  8. should have a cause. You should have aim or a purpose. If you

  9. don't, you should find one because it's important to live a life of mission.

  10. Somebody say amen. But when you put a letter S at the back

  11. of this word mission, in the church, we recognize it as mission.

  12. That is cross cultural meaning to say that you still have an aim, you

  13. still have a purpose, you still have a cause, but you are ready

  14. to do it outside your comfort zone. That's what the next slide says,

  15. reaching others different from us or than us, outside of our own culture,

  16. of our own comfort zone. This is very important. This is really God's

  17. heartbeat, not our heartbeat. God's heartbeat, and my prayer towards the end

  18. of this time with you this morning is that God's heartbeat will become ours now.

  19. Jesus also had a mission, and his mission was to seek and save

  20. the loss. Am I right? But he also did missions because he had

  21. to come out of his comfort zone to do that. Speak about it for

  22. a moment. Heaven is a beautiful place, don't you think so? How

  23. many have you want to be there? One day? Of course? Of

  24. course, And Jesus has already bought us the ticket through his blood. Amen,

  25. we will be one day with God in heaven. And I think it's

  26. a beautiful place, you know. I think it's it's a it's a place

  27. that's filled with fragrance that is probably more beautiful than any fragrant perfume cologne that

  28. you can ever find on the face of the earth. I think it's all

  29. the cologne's added together. I think it's all the flowers added together. I

  30. thinks all the perfume added together. I think it's it's beautiful. It's going

  31. to be great. And this is the place where Jesus was at the right

  32. hand of the Father, enjoying the Father's a fellowship and and presence. And

  33. then the Father says, you gotta go. You gotta go, because there

  34. are people on Earth that needs you, that needs salvation, and salvation can

  35. only come through Jesus. Acts. Chapter four of verse twelve says that in

  36. no other name but the name of Jesus, no other name under heaven by

  37. which we must be saved, but Jesus. Jesus had to leave this beautiful

  38. place called Heaven to go down to a place called earth, which was filled

  39. with sin, and it was smelly because of sin. Compared to Heaven,

  40. it was definitely cross countural. So Jesus had a mission, and he also

  41. did missions. And if we didn't do missions, we would not be here

  42. this morning. Now some of us know the word missions, but we spelled

  43. it differently. We spelled it M E S S I O N S because

  44. we recognize that missions. It's all about me. And this is very natural.

  45. This is human beings. We look at a photograph, we want to

  46. look for ourselves first, you know, we sit down for a meal and

  47. we're hungry. We don't care whether other people's meals have come. We will

  48. go for it. We This is just human nature, or should I say,

  49. the fallen nature of human beings. This is that's who we are.

  50. We think about our family first, We think about children. First, we

  51. think about our spouses first, we think about our house first. We think

  52. about the convenience. You know. I know some people, even after a

  53. whila, didn't want to come to DVCC anymore because we didn't have touch and

  54. go and so the lining up to pay. I know it's very inconvenient,

  55. right, But people will start thinking about whether I should go and the result

  56. of my decision. Usually it's based on whether it will help my comfort and

  57. my convenience. This is human nature. Okay, so we hear the same

  58. word missions, but usually we spelled it m e. What's in it for

  59. me? What's in it for mine or my own or my family or just

  60. me, myself and I. But Matthew twenty eight nineteen, before Jesus went

  61. up to heaven, he messed us up with a scripture. Life was never

  62. to be the same again because of Matthew twenty eight nineteen. The Bible says,

  63. gold therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in

  64. the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

  65. These are the words of Jesus. He did not say stay put and be

  66. comfortable. He says, go out and make disciples of all nations. Now,

  67. the definition of nations is not countries. Is not Malaysia, Singapore,

  68. Indonesia, you know, and different countries in Africa, etc. It's ethne.

  69. And ethnicity comes from that word word ethne. It's people groups Chinese,

  70. Indian, Malay, and so and so forth, people groups. God's heart

  71. is for people, and he says, I want you to go out and

  72. make disciples of all, not some, but all people. His heart is

  73. for people, different kinds of people, with different kinds of skin color,

  74. and different languages and different cultures. If you believe it's amen, all right,

  75. I'm trying to build you a case. Some of you know that I'm

  76. a lawyer by training, so I'm trying to build my case up for you

  77. to see. Is it true or not that God's heartbeat. His heartbeats with

  78. missions all the time. So let's begin with X one eight. The Bible

  79. says, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

  80. Hallelujah, and you share, I'll be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and

  81. in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. It's not

  82. just Jerusalem, but Judea, Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

  83. Now, Jerusalem means our world, the world we live in means our

  84. culture means, our language, means our comfort zone. And we are also

  85. to love our Jerusalem. We are also to pray for our Jerusalem. We

  86. are also to reach our Jerusalem. We are also to love and feed and

  87. reach our Jerusalem. Very important. Jerusalem. It is also included. But

  88. the word of God says and also Judaea, Samaria, and to the end

  89. of the earth. So that's the word of Jesus given to the church as

  90. he was taken up to heaven. So really these are like his last word

  91. on earth. Ah. Now we look at Acts eight one. Acts eight

  92. one has this to say. Now Saul was consenting to his death. Who

  93. died Stephen, Stephen the first martyr. As far as we can see in

  94. the New Testament, Saul was consenting to his death. And that time,

  95. at that time a great persecution arose against who? Against who? Why do

  96. you God allow it? I thought he loved his church. I thought he

  97. will protect his church. I thought he gives his church peace. But he

  98. allowed persecution to arise against his church that he loves so much. Why this

  99. church was at Jerusalem, and as a result of that persecution, they were

  100. all scattered throughout the regions of Judaea Samaria. Accept the apostles, so X

  101. eight one, Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters. After seven chapters,

  102. we now only see Judea and Samaria because for seven chapters, X one eighth

  103. is X chapter one. Of course X one eight is X chapter one.

  104. We all are you all two with me? Because I'm going to do some

  105. mathematics with you right now. And now we are reading X eight one X

  106. one eight X eight one. How many chapters? Seven, seven chapters have

  107. passed and we have not hurt Judaea and Samaria for seven chapters. God's heart

  108. is not our heart. His ways are not our ways. But he was

  109. so patient to wait for seven chapters before he did anything. He's not into

  110. persecuting us. He's not into making our lives painful or suffer. But his

  111. heart, although he loves you and me, it's more than just you and

  112. me. His heart, it's more than just our comfort. But he's so

  113. good that he weighs seven chapters. You know what seven chapters could mean seven

  114. months, it could mean seven years, it could mean seventeen years. He's

  115. very patient. He's very patient. And then he allows now persecution for one

  116. purpose only, and that is that his will be done. And his will

  117. is not just Jerusalem, but Judaea and Samaria and the end of the earth.

  118. Are you all still with me? What loves us too much to allow

  119. persecution to come away? But he will allow it if we aren't moving,

  120. if we are overly comfortable where we are, and we're not thinking about other

  121. people outside of us. Are you also with me? This is very important

  122. to catch. So God allows the persecution, and what happens as a result

  123. is the people of God gets scattered. And now the scattering mentions the name

  124. Judea and Samaria. But still it says, accept the apostles. Before I

  125. close, I will tell you why that even the apostles weren't moving. And

  126. sometimes you can be a great leader like an apostle and still get something wrong.

  127. I agree. I will be the first to admit, even though I

  128. can be the founding senior pastor of X Church and all this that Elie just

  129. mentioned earlier, I can still, you know, sometimes just miss it because

  130. of my own fears, because of my own focus, which may not be

  131. completely right. We can confess our sins and say, Lord forgive us and

  132. get us back on the right track. Seven chapters until I saw Judaea and

  133. Samara mentioned. So I would say this to you as a gentle, loving

  134. warning that if we don't live X one eight, then prepare for X eight

  135. one. Is it easy to remember? Easy to remember? If we are

  136. not living X one eighth, then be prepared. I said. I didn't

  137. say God will definitely do it tomorrow. I said be prepared for X eight

  138. one, because God's will will be done if we want to do it God's

  139. way. We want to do God's will. Somebody say, amen, it's

  140. very important doing God's doing God's will and doing it God's way. Let me

  141. just pause for a woman here, you know, and just speak to you

  142. about that, because I'm very passionate about this. See this is called X

  143. church, and God has a way to do exchurch, and God told me

  144. how to do exchurch. And so when I follow his design and his way,

  145. the church prospers. And every time you seek to do God's will,

  146. God's way, you will also prosper. I guarantee you. So we are

  147. now fifty churches in ten nations, when once upon a time twenty three years

  148. ago, we were only three people in one venue. Three people in one

  149. venue twenty three years ago, twenty three years later, by the grace of

  150. God, we are where we are. I give God all the glory.

  151. But listen, I'm talking about doing it God's will. Well, doing God's

  152. will, I should say, doing God's way. So there are many times

  153. I can get a hit of myself. I can get too smart for God.

  154. I can get overly creative and say, oh, I want to do

  155. it this other way because this other church down the road is doing that way.

  156. You know, I read the latest book, and the latest book said

  157. you must do it this way and this other thing. You know about pivoting

  158. this and pivoting that, And why don't you change it according to the modern

  159. day, Why don't you turn off all the lives because churches are turning off

  160. all their lives doing worship so that you can feel better in worship. Well,

  161. I don't mind that. If God taught them to do it, and

  162. let them be unscrupled to God. But God never told me to do that.

  163. In fact, God said to me, let the people be used to

  164. the light. So turn on more lights because we've got to get used to

  165. light because heaven ain't gonna be dub. Heaven ain't gonna be dube because God

  166. is not due. He's light. And by the time you step into heaven,

  167. oh so bright is it? Give me some shades, Peter? Okay?

  168. Anyways, see me. So when God told me to plan x got

  169. the communing where I live, I only had one thing in mind. I

  170. said, God, the way I started x subang is a way I'm going

  171. to start x KK because you never told me to do it differently. So

  172. I dressed the same, I have the same spirit, the same I trained

  173. the leaders the same. And because you do it, God's will, God's

  174. way. It went from fourteen people to one hundred and forty in seven months.

  175. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord. Sixty percent of them are knew

  176. our worship team also sixty percent you our ashous No all going with that.

  177. That number, by the grace of God, last week it was one hundred

  178. and sixty seven. Any people are keeping because you know why, I don't

  179. build God's church. According to Kenneth Chean's design is got to be God's will,

  180. God's way. I'm telling you right now, if you do it,

  181. God's will God's way, you will prosper. I'm gonna show it to you

  182. in a minute. But I thought I want to say that to you.

  183. So let's not be overly clever, Let's not be overly creative. Let's be

  184. faithful God's design. You know, even the Act had a design. God

  185. was so specific, and the temple headed design God was so specific. His

  186. ark of the specific specific My design, God says my design Isaiah fifty five.

  187. I think it's verse eight and nine. My thoughts are not your thoughts,

  188. nor are my ways your ways, says the Lord. For as high

  189. as the heavens are from the earth, so are my ways, then your

  190. ways, and my thoughts. You gotta remember that. And so I don't

  191. seek to be too clever. For Jesus, I just God, tell me,

  192. tell me, I'll do it. You have the blueprint of church plan.

  193. I don't even have to read it from a book. I read it

  194. from your book. And then and and I depend on on the Holy Spirit.

  195. All right, everybody, Okay, please get applied to your own family,

  196. your marriage. Okay, don't be too clever and say, oh,

  197. I read all these books on marriage and I'll no, no, no,

  198. read the read the book. First read the book, do it his way.

  199. I know some people don't even like the words submit. Some woman with

  200. a melody, why submit to? Because you can't take it right, because

  201. the world has has made that word a bad word. Argue word. And

  202. then husband, love your wives? You know what do they mean? Flowers

  203. every day? Well, if you have to. I heard a joke,

  204. Rosilina, My wife told me I never buy her flowers. I said,

  205. I never knew you sells flowers anyway, So you will catch it later.

  206. Eight four to five says Therefore, those who were scattered when everywhere preaching the

  207. word, then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preach Christ to

  208. them. All right, hey, for seven chapters no movement. You know

  209. why people don't move not just about churcher, about life, about whatever it

  210. is that you are having to make decisions about. Is because of success.

  211. Someone said before the question was this noal? And I didn't answer it correctly

  212. When I first I was first asked the question, Kenneth, what's the greatest

  213. tests a man or woman can go through? So I thought to myself,

  214. Wow, okay, uh, you know I was thinking about all the temptations

  215. I was thinking about all the failures. I was thinking about all the sad

  216. things, and I answered about three and the person said, no, Kenneth

  217. is success. The greatest test for mankind is success. That's the only reason

  218. why we don't fulfill pledgures and vows. Oh Lord help me. You know

  219. exam on Monday Sunday. Haven't studied all the chapters, so you've learned to

  220. pray all other times forgot to pray, but you will pray now because exams

  221. Monday Sunday. You heard from your friend chapters twenty four, twenty five,

  222. and twenty six are coming out. I haven't even got a day yet.

  223. I studied all the way to twenty one. It's coming out, I found

  224. out. So you are now on your knees. Suddenly you got tongues ka

  225. ya ya yay, help me od And then you thought you would add in

  226. a promise God if you I'm not even asking for for a I remember how

  227. my friend told me how to spell banana in Tamil b a yen a yena.

  228. So it's not even a ya. It was an Indian guiy that to

  229. me, it's funny guy b a y it's not a yea God, don't

  230. even never give me a yay. Just give me a pass, and I

  231. will serve you for whatever. I will serve you for whatever. I will

  232. never miss a single Sunday. Just give me a pass. Come on,

  233. God, you can do this. You can partner red Sea. If you

  234. can do anything, Lord, do it for me. Go. I will

  235. serve you, God, I will give to you God, I will you

  236. know, never be late for church. Right. It's not bad times that

  237. are the greatest testa. No. In fact, I bad times make you

  238. pray more. Bad times make you say many promises and vowels. And it

  239. is when things are really good you forget you said the vow You forget you

  240. said I'll come earlier. You forget the great So I must tell you,

  241. even though the Apostles started very rough in Jerusalem, they prospered. Peter's first

  242. message three thousand at three. I want I hope you know that it will

  243. happen again the next time. I preest tree thousand gets saved. Oh I

  244. want that you want or not? Yes? I want three thousand souls.

  245. Peter soul successful. No boom boom, boom comes the word three thousand hand

  246. good up. I can imagine the last night when I said that how many

  247. hands no will be raised up for salvation? I counted about ten. Yeah,

  248. that was last night. Three thousand. No Caroc Cownity, that is

  249. I'm saying, and count count Nay, Sorry, one, two, three,

  250. four, five, six, mbermight don't count Carrol Cownity. Count Later

  251. three thousand they found three thousand, So three thousand. Immediately the church grew

  252. to three thousand. From one hundred and twenty to three thousand, talk about

  253. church growser the next one five thousand and so. Although they started rough,

  254. they had success. And when you are successful, you stay. You see

  255. you stay. You forgot Judea and Samaria and the end of the earth.

  256. We forget, lady Neleman, come on, let's all be honest. We

  257. forget. We forget the last pledge. We told God, God, if

  258. you, if you, if you I will, I will, And God

  259. did his part, and we didn't do hours because it's not so can chung

  260. any it's not so exciting anymore, it's not so pressure rising anymore. We

  261. are not so tempted anymore. You knows times are good, and so we

  262. forget, and the Lord allows another opportunity for us in the form of obstacles

  263. to pray like we never prayed before again x eight one, the persecution happened.

  264. They were all scattered, and within three versus four verses, it says

  265. Philip, that's a new name, now, Philip, not the apostles name,

  266. the apostles Dame are not mentioned. Is now a new name, Philip.

  267. And Philip goes down to the city of Samaria and preach Christ to them.

  268. And if you read x A, you will find that Philip was so

  269. successful because the Bible actually says the whole city went to hear him preach,

  270. and he healed the sick. He didn't miracles, and Samaria got to hear

  271. the gospel. Listen for seven chapters, no Judea, no Samaria. And

  272. now because we do it God's way, we do God's will his way.

  273. You get results in three verses because it's God's heart. And when you do

  274. things on God's heart, he will bless you. You think you want to

  275. wait seven chapters for one soul, Nay, he already died on the cross.

  276. I went back to heaven. And he says, go and make disciples

  277. right. He wants people save every day. He wants disciples to be so

  278. that's why even after fifty church plants around the world, ten nations, and

  279. over three thousand people that call their call Exchurch their home, why in the

  280. world should I leave here DVCC until some of you have to? You know,

  281. now, give me a long introduction like ours, a guest speaker,

  282. because we understand God's heart and God doesn't want us to stay put in a

  283. place for too long. Some of us are caught, yeah, for longer

  284. than others. Maybe some I caught twenty years, there thirty years. But

  285. listen, you must always be willing, keep your heart soft like clay in

  286. the potter's hand, so that he can continue modest. Don't be hard,

  287. because you know, when you're hard in your heart and you are a fixed

  288. vessel, he will take it. If he wants to remolde you, he

  289. will break it. He will break your heart. And so you go like,

  290. wow, he's got so cruel. No, no, he's not.

  291. He's out of love that he does that. Not just only love for you,

  292. because he knows that you would die if you continue this way, but

  293. he also loves others. So that's why me and my wife go back to

  294. a place of restart. Ladies and geer, I think I told you a

  295. story, right. There were times I cried, you know, because I

  296. know, like it's Korean drama and you know, okay, and and you

  297. know, I know you notice, but but I'll tell you anyway, just

  298. in case people didn't never heard it. We went early in the morning to

  299. set up. You notice was the back in like a year ago, and

  300. and there were you know, the other musicians were late. And this is

  301. of course, you know, sometimes sometimes a it just comes in. Pastor

  302. Kenneth Chin foundings in the pastor all my all my faithful people are all the

  303. under churches, and anyone would have come to help me carry, but now

  304. there's no one, and so I had to carry. And you know what,

  305. I sweat very easily. They call me Putra lilin Prince of the candle.

  306. Is that right? I just I just melt. And so I had

  307. to go to ascot to the morning, early in the morning with a t

  308. shirt because I will be drenched by the time I move instruments. The Pastor

  309. Kenneth people don't do this one at the CEOs of the world, when they

  310. have built big corporations that they sit on top in their air conditioning penhouse and

  311. they order people around. You deserve that because you have built this. But

  312. no, no, no, hold on a minute, God build it.

  313. Number one, number two, I'm his servant. Number three. I go

  314. wherever he sends me. And so you see, you see what God is

  315. doing is he constantly wants our heart to be soft and at a place where

  316. He can continue to do new things with us. So now it's one hundred

  317. and sixty seven, I am believing that by the end of this year it

  318. will hit two hundred. What we do every Sunday in our prayer time is

  319. we ask our people to lay hands on every seat. Lord, this empty

  320. seat, let it not be empty anymore. My friend, my neighbor,

  321. my father who's not yet Christian, bring my mum here a Lord. You

  322. know we pray like that, we pray and this is how we used to

  323. do it. Do you know all these chairs are once upoint in time was

  324. bought by students and young Woki adults who had no money. I asked them,

  325. buy one seat for yourself. The chair no money, you remember this,

  326. So we didn't have money to buy so we asked, okay, joy,

  327. buy one. But don't forget it's not just your seat, why don't

  328. you buy another one? And some who could afford I bought three and said,

  329. Lord, I'm buying two other extra seat because I want my mom and

  330. my dad. You know, there was a dream every seat was alife.

  331. And then one Sunday, the Holy Spirit led me to pray over the welcome

  332. table. So I asked the ushers the host team, and they are carrying

  333. the table, why are up as we carry to them? And the table

  334. was carried to the author because a welcome back was there, the newcomers card,

  335. the card that says you know if you're safe, you know you fill

  336. up this card and all there. So I said, this table is very

  337. important. If we miss this table, that we missed the heartbeat of God

  338. for the loss. So we prayed, and when we pray that that day

  339. sell five new people. King, come on, what is church about?

  340. It's not just about us getting comfortable, you know with our own worship songs.

  341. And sometimes we can complain. I don't like this where she sung,

  342. and I don't like this where she reader, Hello, it's about you.

  343. Cannot be always about you. Sometimes it's about you, and you know I

  344. love you, Yes I do, Yes, I do. God loves you

  345. too. He loves you more than I could ever love you, but he

  346. wants to love others through you. They boys see, Okay, your heart,

  347. Wait, where's your heart? I'm talking about God's heartbeat? And so

  348. seven chapters of patience, and then he couldn't stand it anymore. He says,

  349. I've got to get my people out, whatever the cost, and boom,

  350. eight one happens, eight four or five happens, and that's a new

  351. name. Now Philip goes out and he wins the whole city to the Lord.

  352. God can't wait. He's like, come on, get on with it.

  353. So I want to say this to you again. When you start doing

  354. God's will, God's way, you will serious outs. Not in seven chapters

  355. time, in seven versus time. I guarantee you this. I'm speaking with

  356. passion because I've seen it again and again. People. How many churches must

  357. I plantner to? Then? Only you believe me. If I started three

  358. or four or five companies idea and successful in every company and done very well,

  359. you probably will ask me to teach me business. Now I'm telling you

  360. his fifty churches all across we got got started, and I'm just using his

  361. way. So hear my heart. It works God's will, God's way.

  362. Next verse place still in Acts chapter eight. I E yi, we haven't

  363. even moved on from one chapter, and look how much God is doing.

  364. All right, let's read this now. The Angel of the Lord spoke to

  365. Philip, saying, arise and go towards the south. Philip again. Okay,

  366. Philip, now he can't even stay in the city of Samaria that he

  367. has so much success. People were being healed everywhere, people were, you

  368. know, becoming believers by the hour. And God says, Philip, don't

  369. stay. Don't make the same mistake as the apostles are making Jerusalem. So

  370. the Angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, rise and go toward

  371. the south. Wow, where is that along the road which goes down from

  372. Jerusalem? Everybody's say from it's from Jerusalem to where new name mentioned, New

  373. name Gaza. I want to say something to you, and I know that

  374. it's in the next point. I'm gonna tell you now because I'm so excited

  375. to tell it to you. When you do God's Will, God's way,

  376. new things are gonna open up to you. You're gonna meet new people,

  377. you're gonna have new doors open. You're gonna have new opportunities. Come on,

  378. come on, let me, let me, let me see some north

  379. at least if you're not saying amen. Really, that's why some people say

  380. that Christianity is boring because you keep with us. Someone's preaching for me.

  381. Yeah, someone said they're back there doing the same thing, being with the

  382. same people. We're way. We're creatures of comfort, creatures of habit and

  383. we don't get moved. We're gonna be there, stuck for a long time.

  384. More to No, I'm not talking about physical things. Oh why are

  385. you pastoral? But I've been here in the tenterty for longest time. No,

  386. it's not about that, because you can do missions where you are right

  387. here. It's your heart, it's my heart, it's our willingness, it's

  388. our preparation. There's our eyes seeing those who needs attention, not just those

  389. who already have all their attention. Are you all seeing me? Young people

  390. are stuck in that place still because they haven't matured yet. Of course,

  391. some away young people have matured even at thirteen fourteen, because they start to,

  392. you know, live like how adults would see things, and not just

  393. themselves and my friends and my you know, when you are still stuck like

  394. that, then you are a teenager. And you can be a teenager even

  395. at fifty, because it's the attitude, it's a mindset, it's the way

  396. you live your life. But look at this again, Philip goes to Gaza.

  397. Ladies and gentlemen, Can I prophesy to all of you in Jesus name.

  398. You will see new things. You're gonna see new opportunities, gonna take

  399. new territory. In Jesus name, You're gonna meet new people. That's going

  400. to be a blessing to you and you to them. M hmm. Are

  401. you excited just because you do it? His way, his will, his

  402. way? You see how he moves. I'm trying to prove to you now

  403. as a lawyer would trying to prove his case, that this is God's heart

  404. beat. That's why when you align with his beat, so your heart goes

  405. to do to do for years, and his one goes do and you do,

  406. do do Anything's all right for seven years, seven chapters. And then

  407. now you're align and you go, Okay, if that's how you beat God,

  408. I want to beat the same. And so maybe you slow down on

  409. yourself and you step up on God. And then after a while it's going

  410. to be a very beauty, beautful picture. God's heart goes and you goes.

  411. Do You're one now with God? And when you catch God's heartbeat,

  412. thing's open. So let's read that verse again, please. So he arose

  413. and went and behold a man of Ethiopia. Another new name. Didn't see

  414. in X one eight? Didn't see in X eight one? Another new name?

  415. Why? Because end of the earth Maa. So how did the gospel

  416. go to Ethiopia? How did the Gospel go to Africa? To the obedience

  417. of one person who didn't just stay in Jerusalem and didn't just stay in Samaria

  418. as well? Samaria? Also he's successful. Can I tell you this right

  419. now, and please listen to my heart. Your Samarias can also be your

  420. Jerusalem. What do I mean by that? When you obey the first time

  421. you come out of your comfort zone Jerusalem and you go to another place and

  422. you say, okay, God, I'm obeying you. And then while while

  423. you're obeying him, success takes place, and you're so successful in Samaria that

  424. if you're not careful, it becomes your Jerusalem, y'all. See with me.

  425. Oh, this is hot matters. It's also hard matters, but it's

  426. hot matters. So God doesn't want us to even create Jerusalem in Samaria.

  427. He says, I know you're successful, Philip, but go keep on going

  428. because I am the God who goes. Jesus says, go. So I'm

  429. running. God is running. Come on, keep up with me, Keep

  430. up with me. Come on. I want to show you more things.

  431. I want to show you more opportunities and more blessings and more break truths.

  432. Come, come, come, don't stay, No, God, let me

  433. stay for a while. This No, I don't want to enjoy this success

  434. for another five years. I said, well you can, but I'm going

  435. after a while. You are successful, but you don't have God's presence.

  436. Where are you? God's the questions? Where are you God? Why do

  437. I feel fulfill even though I have a million dollars in by Bang because he

  438. ain't there. So he's he's like going and and we've got to follow.

  439. He meets a man from Ethiopia. Forget that he's a You're not God.

  440. I don't worry about it. So you are going like, oh you know

  441. this, you're not think is a problem with you to me, don't worry

  442. about it. It's a barren the authority. So I'm gonna prophesy again to

  443. you. When you do God's real, God's way. He's gonna bring you

  444. to high places. He's gonna cause you to meet people that are going to

  445. change nations, not just anyone, someone in high authority under the queen.

  446. And he was already ripe and ready for the gospel. Do you know what

  447. happened? Right? He's in his chart, no writing, and you know

  448. what happened? This God tells or whether the Angel of the Lord tells his

  449. servant Philip to go and chase after the cheet, why would Yeah? And

  450. Philip did it. He's running and suddenly you was, licks are running really

  451. fast and he was the first flesh. And not only that, you know

  452. what, even when I run, I'm painting arena. But this guy got

  453. time to talk. What are you reading? Ah, I'm reading from Isaiah.

  454. Oh do you understand why what you're reading? You know, it's amazing.

  455. It was, it was supernatural. That's why Christianity is not boring.

  456. And for the Christians that says boring. You ain't running after Charila. That's

  457. why do the things that God tells you to do, even though in a

  458. natural sense it's impossible. Why because God will make it possible. He would

  459. turn the natural too shop And not a day will go by when you were

  460. sick. Christianity is boring. Not a day will go by. I'll tell

  461. you what. Since the day I accepted Jesus to Nawa, not a single

  462. day is boring with Jesus. I can't understand if you will say all your

  463. board board, because there's so much of yourself straight exciting. There's I think

  464. God's heart pumps with excitement when he thinks about others, things about you.

  465. When Jesus was on the cross, he thought about you, his heart pumped.

  466. He was able to leave Heaven to come to Earth. Why he thought

  467. about you, It's not just for himself. Are you alway still with me?

  468. Let's go through a reflection very quickly, very quickly. Number one,

  469. it just keeps spreading after the scattering resin it. Acts eight one is when

  470. the scattering happened. For seven chapters, nothing happened except in Jerusalem, very

  471. successful in Jerusalem, and seven chapters when no Judia, no Samaria, no

  472. nothing, Acts eight one happens, and it goes on in verses, no

  473. chapters, boom boom boom, boom boom, and now you're even in Ethiopia.

  474. Wow. Wow. When you do God's will, God's way, you

  475. will have to spread out of your comfort zone. But watch it, watch

  476. it grow, watch it multiply, watch it go crazy. Even our Samarias

  477. can become out Jerusalem's watch out for that, watch out for success that keeps

  478. you stuck. Someone said before, the actual meaning of success is succession.

  479. And if you don't have succession, you don't really have success. So you

  480. always got to think about your next. And when you think about your next,

  481. like I told them, many of my leaders when they've started becoming leaders,

  482. are work hard for God and work yourself out of a job. That's

  483. what I did when I retired at fifty. I worked myself out of a

  484. past a job because I don't need to hold this forever. People got to

  485. be secure in who God called you to be. Don't be secure in your

  486. title. Someone say before, don't work so hard on your job, work

  487. hard on yourself. I like that because when you work hard on yourself,

  488. that's how you attract success. When you just work hard on your job,

  489. you just get a salary or a bonus to may people are working too hard

  490. on your job. Only work hard on yourself, and you become a better

  491. person, and you start attracting promotions and bonuses and trust people's trust. Are

  492. you always doing me? Work hard, work hard on what you need to

  493. work. So I work hard on trying to get myself out of a job

  494. so that other people can rise, so that God will say, Okay,

  495. Kenneth, now that it's all there, now, keep going, keep walking,

  496. keep walking, Kenneth. Don't stop until you come to me in heaven.

  497. Okay, it doesn't stop. If I can, if I can give

  498. you life, life is for a reason, and that is to serve me.

  499. The best thing in life is to serve God. The best investment you

  500. can make is in the kingdom of God. I know a lot of people

  501. have been burned lately from all kinds of investments. My heart goes out for

  502. them. Not that they wanted to be burned. You know, they really

  503. thought it was a good investment, but you know, a bad bad I

  504. was with a billionaire on Friday having lunch, and suddenly, you know,

  505. as he's talking to me, he look at his phone. All your market

  506. following. You know, so the market goes up and down, but the

  507. Kingdom of God doesn't. Get your focus correct, get your heart in the

  508. right place, get your investment, because when you invest in God, you

  509. in welfare. Are you also you me? This is very very key.

  510. What's the last point there? New things are revealed when we keep going praise

  511. God. New things I want to continue to confess over you. New things

  512. will happen. All right, let's move on next nine fifteen to sixteen see

  513. paste. But the Lord said to him, go, for he is a

  514. chosen vessel of mine to bear my name before gentiles, kings and the children

  515. of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for

  516. my namesake. So what's this all about? This is about Paul. Paul

  517. walking to Damascus wanting to put Christians into prison and wanted to kill them.

  518. He meets Jesus on the way to Damascus, and Jesus makes him blind.

  519. He probably was already blinded anyway, and he's now being guided to Damascus.

  520. And on the other side, God speaks to his servant Annius. He keeps

  521. speaking to us if we wanted to do his will? You know why,

  522. Anon, I had also had to come out of his comfort zone because he

  523. said, God said to him, you've got to do this. There's this

  524. guy called Saul. He's coming in and he's going He's living on a street

  525. called straight I liked the namer straight street. No. I remember one time

  526. when I had a cell go on my own. In my youth dayser we

  527. called it's straight street. The straight street is where Paul was living. And

  528. Anonias was told, go and tell tell this man this, and you know

  529. what, analyze it. God, you must be joking. He didn't say

  530. that, write something like that today's language. You must be joking. Do

  531. you know this man? This man has come here to catch people like me,

  532. and now you want me to go and do this comfort zone? Every

  533. chapter has a person coming out of his comfort zone because God has a bigger

  534. plan than you can see. And if anon I didn't step out, there

  535. will be no Paul, no Paul, no Gentiles, no us. Do

  536. you see this? And so anon I steps out? And you know what,

  537. the faith of Adonis was so amazing because if you read the scripture for

  538. yourself, he opens the door and he says, brother Saul, it's so

  539. amazing to call a man who is murdering Christians just because God told you that

  540. God was going to use him. You came in in the first encouragement.

  541. You're giving to him his name. He's greeting brother Saul, not murder us.

  542. Saul. God told me to come to not good for nothing, Saul.

  543. God told me the coming brother Soul. You stepped across your comfort zone

  544. and you speak things and you do things that God told you too. It

  545. doesn't make sense. And some how you could be still sitting here. Does

  546. it make sense to come from mission conference? Please come, because it might

  547. not make sense to your schedule and to you know, your golf on Saturday

  548. or whatever it is. But please, this only happens once a year.

  549. Hmm. But be ready to step out of your comfort zone. So God

  550. was gonna cause Paul to suffer so that gentiles will come to know Jesus X

  551. nine thirty one. Read this together with me, everybody in X nine thirty

  552. one. Then the churches throughout all Judea. Someone say all Galilee and Samaria

  553. had peace and were edified and walking in the fear of the Lord and in

  554. the comfort of the Holy Spirit. They will multiplied. Hal Lujah seven chapters.

  555. No Judaea, no Samaria, no, nothing but Jerusalem and Jazz one

  556. chapter later x eight and acts nine. How many chapters difference? One?

  557. And in one chapter let's look at the script scripture again. In one chapter.

  558. You see, I'm telling you right now, if you do what's on

  559. God's heart, you do it his will, his way. One chapter.

  560. And it's not just Judaea, is all Judaea and Galilee which wasn't even mentioned.

  561. And Samaria had peace? Why because Jesus is the prince of peace.

  562. And when you bring Jesus into a community, into a neighborhood, that neighborhood

  563. will have peace. Somebody say amen, and they will multiply. Have I

  564. convinced you yet that this is God's heartbeat? Do it his way, do

  565. his will, and let God show up and show off. Next one?

  566. I like this one. What we can do in just one chapter compared to

  567. what we have done in seven, just by focusing and committing to do what's

  568. on God's hearts. Think about it for a moment. Some of you are

  569. probably praying, Oh, why God so long? Why God so long?

  570. Why God so long? I'll tell you still this preaching, you gotta have

  571. favor that you are hearing this word, because when God's word goes forth,

  572. it will not return to you in void. So when the word goes forth,

  573. right now, prepare, something is about to happen. Your seven year

  574. weight or whatever it is, is going to return into versus, into just

  575. three verses for God. What's what's this? I just want to propheside over

  576. your life. I really, I really believe. It's all my heart.

  577. It's not just about just punting. It's about your own lives and your own

  578. satisfaction, your own fulfillment. Let's let's I wanted to go to the next

  579. one, actually, and look at X ten twenty four. So he's gone

  580. from Wow, from scattering all the believers to Philip, from Philip to Paul,

  581. and then now we see Peter. And the following day they entered CeCe

  582. Aria. Now Cornelius was waiting for them and had called together his relatives and

  583. close friends. Wow. He said to them, you know how unlawful it

  584. is for who said to them Peter. So I'm guessing that you know the

  585. scripture. That's why I'm giving you just parts and pastor. But if you

  586. don't know the scripture, I'll give you a little bit of background. But

  587. Peter is the one saying, you know how unlawful it is for a Jewish

  588. Man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God

  589. has showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. So

  590. the background is that Peter is apostle. Like all the other apostles stayed in

  591. where Jerusalem, they didn't move. This scripture gives you a reason. Why

  592. is because they have in their mindset that it is unclean. So you can

  593. be a very good leader, a very good pastor, but sometimes we are

  594. stuck with a mindset that unless it's broken, we will not be able to

  595. do the fullness of God's will. And this is Peter confessing that this is

  596. his mindset. And he said that that God had to come and re mold

  597. and reshape. He's thinking how when Peter was up on the rooftop, up

  598. and he was hungry, and the Bible says he ran into a trance.

  599. He was sleepy, and then a sheet of cloth came down from heaven in

  600. a vision, and there were unclean animals, all kinds of animals, and

  601. the voice of the Lord came Peter, rise, kill and eat, and

  602. Peter says not so, Lord, because his Jewish culture, let's talk about

  603. culture now, his Jerusalem culture, his comfort zone, his own world culture.

  604. This allowed him to do it all those years of you know, mindset

  605. For me, I was I wasn't wasn't gonna use the word brainwash. It

  606. was because it's it's it's a it's a law, it's a it's a it's

  607. a principle that Jewish people hold onto. But it was the very thing that

  608. stopped them from doing God's will. Now you know why the apostles stayed and

  609. so for seven chapters they stayed on. Even the persecution, they stayed on.

  610. There's a mindset problem. And God had to bring the animals down three

  611. times, meaning at the same message. You probably had to hear it three

  612. times before some of you will move. So when he got it, when

  613. he got it, finally, Cornelius sent men to go and get Peter in

  614. another city. And the men were knocking at the door. Is Peter here,

  615. is Peter here? And the Holy Spirit says, go down there,

  616. men looking for you. Go with them. Fearing nothing, didn't tell him

  617. what he's about. Just go with them. So listen, this is Cornelius

  618. sending his men to go and get Peter, and then he brings his family

  619. and his close friends to the house. Even that, I tell you is

  620. amazing because the Cornelius, this leader of you know, the Roman heritage,

  621. he sent men to get Peter, but didn't know when these men will get

  622. him, because ladies and gentlemen, there was no handphone. Now of course,

  623. you know you're looking for me or are looking for you. You're gonna,

  624. Yeah, I got Joy, I got Joe. Let me let me

  625. use this other elder. I've got Rose. Okay, I'm coming now,

  626. yes, yeah, coming, yeah, be up in two minutes. Then

  627. everybody you know scrambled to get the water ready, you know, the tower

  628. ready, you know, because Elder Rose is coming. Okay, So then

  629. they didn't have that. So I'm sending you blindly to go to a place

  630. I the Lord, the Lord area told me where peters saying, but how

  631. long are they gonna take? How long are they gonna take? It?

  632. Is Peter gonna come with them? How? Peter said, no, no,

  633. no, no, I don't go with strangers. Right by faith,

  634. by faith, Cornelle has got his whole family and his friends to wait.

  635. Did they wait one day? Two days, three days, no, you

  636. don't know. Maybe it's slept over night, three nights waiting for Peter,

  637. the messenger of God to come. I wonder how many of you in Peter's

  638. shoes would have gone, And if you would not have gone, one whole

  639. family would not have been saved. If you not gone, one who community

  640. would not have been saved. And so Peter comes finally and confesses it is

  641. actually unlawful. Do you know these days we don't use the word unlawful,

  642. but there are a lot of prejudices, you know, that's in some worlds

  643. that well, some parts of the world will live in. There's still cart

  644. system. We blame the people that actually have car system. But sometimes we

  645. have classesm here too. The way we look at each other, the way

  646. we you know, have each other over for meals, inviting the same people

  647. that we like. Every New Testament book moving forward is missions. Think about

  648. it. I'm trying to say to you, this is God's heartbeat, and

  649. this is that's why he keeps going. So we move from Romans or acts

  650. to Romans. Romans also is about Romans. It's not about Jewish people Rome

  651. Rome. Paul said, I will appeal to Caesar and went to Rome.

  652. That's why Rome got the Gospel. And then after that is the other four

  653. lettress. You remember the four atress, how you is go eat potato chips?

  654. Right, we all know that. So Galatians for g go eat efficients

  655. Poteto is Philippines and chips. It's Collosians. So the four let us.

  656. After that it's all about him going. And then the Mastodonian call and Paul,

  657. keep going, you keep going because God is going. I also me

  658. God's heartbeat, God's heartbeat. And then let's look at another scripture here.

  659. I'm going to a close down last lap oh until all the way to revelation.

  660. Still the topic is clear and concise and convincing. It is evidence that

  661. you cannot deny that even in revelations in heaven, people will be worshiping God

  662. out of every tribe, time and nation, which is people groups, all

  663. of us are going to be ashi in like Sheba into God's presence because it's

  664. so many millions and millions of people says tens of thousands of tens of thousands

  665. wringing, right, and so you get you can't choose, You can't choose,

  666. but everybody can. I just use your imagination for millions, and you're

  667. you're like pack like Sudens. Okay, already, because heaven, nock of

  668. it. Okay, nobody's wagging your mask in heaven. Okay, okay.

  669. And then you way, and then and then you start to worship. Okay.

  670. Then God gives you a song, and the song is holy, Holy,

  671. Holy is the Lord God, Almighty, the whole earth. It's full

  672. of his glories. You're singing, and then you're singing Holy Holy. I'm

  673. seeing English bays. But but then the next person to me could be from

  674. Uganda, and some Chinese guys like oh, watching by me, watching back

  675. okay, and then at the back there you know it's in the one years

  676. okay. And then okay, now, whatever it is, there's gonna be

  677. a beautiful picture. And if you can't get used to it here on earth,

  678. you won't be get used to it on in heaven. I even sometimes

  679. think that they go will probably put you up with people that you didn't like

  680. on on earth, and yet we're all going to stand together. Were better

  681. get used to it. We very start liking people who are different from us.

  682. Every time I go to restaurants or cafes, I speak to all the

  683. rats that come to my table like they were human beings. No, I

  684. don't know if people two called waters. I know it sound like a red

  685. right, we should go a red trap at or a table. And I

  686. see, I see a memory is coming to my table. I smile at

  687. him, I said, men glover. I gets shocked because nobody ever greets

  688. him, and I fither if it takes my order. Tess you thin my

  689. day. You know, I gotta learn some other languages. And my wife

  690. always gets a little embarrassing. Canna you see you know you shopped them more

  691. than anything else. No, I keep going, I keep going. I

  692. keep going to do you know why I keep going to the same restaurant?

  693. Not always because I like the fooda but because I like the people. Genesis

  694. eleven one to four, or rather one end four. Now the whole earth

  695. had one language and one speech, and they say, come, let us

  696. build ourselves a city and a tower whose top is in the heavens. Let

  697. us make a name for ourselves. Let us let's be scattered abroad over the

  698. face of the whole earth. These people in Genesis eleven did not know God's

  699. heart, so they had one language, one speech, Chinese mandarin basa Malaysia.

  700. Okay, people who just like to hang out with their own people go

  701. to London, also hang out with their own people, go to Americans who

  702. hang out with their own people always hang out with Because you're so comfortable with

  703. your group, do you never learned, you never grow? No. Okay,

  704. to embrace your group, but you must also be willing and open have

  705. God's heart. But no, in Genesis eleven, it was on God's heart.

  706. They were going in one language, one speech, and all they knew

  707. what to do was let's build for ourselves, let's build us tower. And

  708. the only reason, let's look at the scripture again, the only reason for

  709. building like that is so that they will no longer need to move, so

  710. that they no longer need to be scattered. I don't want to move,

  711. La, I just want to build my own kingdom, my own world,

  712. my own business. I just mean my my family to Koblah, you know

  713. enough. No, this is not God's heart. So when they were building

  714. building, why why they want to build so much? One voice, one

  715. language, one speech, so that they don't need to move. And then

  716. straight after Genesis eleven, his Genesis twelth, where God said to Abraham,

  717. get out of your father's house. Get out again, because now that I

  718. spread everyone all across the earth, I'm going to now go and save them.

  719. So Abraham has to get out. Go to a land. I'll show

  720. you what's the name of Abraham. What does it mean? Father of many

  721. nations? Because the purpose was to go back to the nations and win them

  722. all back one by one. But it ain't gonna happen if you ain't moving.

  723. So move out, Abraham, Yes, Lord, I move up.

  724. I will give your I'll give you descendants more than the stars in the sky

  725. if you can count them. Why so many? Because he wants all of

  726. them to go everywhere to win them back that God had scattered you. Look

  727. at this slight, he says Joseph. Joseph was the same thing. Brothers

  728. sell him to Egypt. He goes to Egypt. Why see, I don't

  729. want to miss this slight because some of you are still thinking and wondering and

  730. asking why why God you allow this to happen. And I'm saying to you

  731. right now. God doesn't simply let anything happen, even the bad things,

  732. if he didn't have a bigger plan. So Joseph said, to his brothers,

  733. what you meant for evil? God? Men? For good? Wow?

  734. What do you do? He brought Joseph into Egypt because Egypt needed Jesus

  735. and became the prime minister. So I want to say this to you right

  736. now, and I prophesy again. God's gonna lead you to place us where

  737. He's gonna bless you and give you authority and give you inference. He did

  738. the same thing to poses Prince of Egypt, authority, amazing a posture,

  739. good looking, trained in the language. And then he had to run.

  740. Why do I have to run? Because God also wants you to continue to

  741. move, don't just stay in Egypt. So he runs, he runs,

  742. and now at the backside of the desert, the Bible says, he can't

  743. even speak properly anymore. He's scared, he's he's stuttering, and God uses

  744. his mouth, the weakness of his mouth, to begin to orchestrate the salvation

  745. plan of God. And then Daniel. We're reading Daniel this year, we're

  746. reading Daniel. Daniel taken from a comfort zone into Babylon, and in Babylon

  747. he becomes a prime minister, and he influences us not one king, but

  748. four kings. Why do God? Why does God keep moving us? Why

  749. does why does God allow things to happen, move us from one job to

  750. move us one place no other? Why does he do that? Because because

  751. his heart is not just for you, It's for others through you, and

  752. Babylon knew about God because of Daniel. Would the last cripture up? And

  753. we're close, Thank you Jesus, that the whole earth will be filled with

  754. the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

  755. When we your people are willing to move, are willing to be moved,

  756. are willing to scatter, are willing to go beyond our own culture,

  757. are willing to go beyond our skin color, are willing to accept our brother,

  758. our sister, are willing to go to where it's not comfortable. Are

  759. willing to give even to something that is not for our own enjoyment. Out

  760. of every tongue, tribe, and nation or Lord, the whole heavens will

  761. be filled with all kinds of people praising the Lord and worshiping him. Come

  762. and everybody stand to your feet. Why don't you reddicate your heart to the

  763. Lord, And said God, I don't want my heart to be hardened.

  764. I don't want my heart to be selfish. I don't just live for myself

  765. as a boring life to live for yourself, I want to live an excitement,

  766. an exciting life. They can only be found in Christ. This is

  767. the plan of God. But this is also the heartbeat of God. And

  768. when we touch the heart of God, things begin to happen in our lives.

  769. I guarantee you this. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
