  1. You're listening to a message to go from ext Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. What I'm gonna talk to you about is

  3. God's power. Tend to your neighbors, say God's power. Do you believe

  4. that you are living in God's power every day? Think about it? Answer

  5. that question honestly, do you think that you are living in God's power every

  6. single day of your life? Okay, only two percent? Right? The

  7. rest of us not sure? Now I want to share with you from God's

  8. what I believe he wants to encourage us with. Really, Christians, Christians,

  9. we have God's power in us, all right, and we just really

  10. need to really embrace it in our minds once and for all and not live

  11. like you know, I'm not sure whether God's with me because I think we

  12. have a very shallow understanding of God's power. And whatever I'm gonna share with

  13. you today, right, it's just scratching the face. I'm not even the

  14. most qualified person to talk about God's power, but I will share with you

  15. my perspective and what I have experience of God's power. Do you know that

  16. this year our theme is Heaven Rules right, and Heaven rules just speaks so

  17. much about God's power, God's power in your life, in my life,

  18. in the everyday ordinary things of God. Amen. Amen. So let me

  19. go and ask you this other question. Now, when I say the web

  20. power, can you just close your eyes for now? Just close your eyes

  21. for a bit. When I say the web power, what image comes to

  22. your mind? Sorry? Lightning? Good? What else? Diyne of mind?

  23. I'm gonna get there. What else? Electricity? I love it?

  24. Are you're flowing with this? What else? What else comes to your mind

  25. when I say power? Sorry? Drive? Strength? Strength? Yes?

  26. Strength? What else? Funny? You should talk about strength? Right,

  27. because when you think about Samson, there was a new baby born, is

  28. it? And it's interestingly I've been reading the Book of Judges in my quiet

  29. time now, And what image do you see when you see Samson? Strength?

  30. Like? Like incredible? Hark? Can I tell you that that's the

  31. wrong picture you have in your mind? Oh? Okay, I don't know

  32. whether I will go there, but if you are interested to know what Samson

  33. looks like, come and look for me after this. Okay. Now that

  34. the word power has been used so many times in the Word of God,

  35. all right, and especially in the New testimony. Man, what is the

  36. emation comes to your mind when I talk about power in the book of the

  37. New Testaments, in all the letters and all the books in New Testament?

  38. What comes to your mind when I say power, Resurrection, power of Jesus.

  39. That's the first one, right? Anything else? What else? Holy

  40. Spirit? What else? Miracles? Yes, when we think about power,

  41. we think about miracles, healings, signs, and wonders. Yes, are

  42. you tracking with me? Okay? So power is used many times in the

  43. world of God, and we want to learn the Greek What are you learning

  44. about? Are you okay, learning about Greek today? Do you know what's

  45. the Greek term? The Greek word for power? Sorry? Do you know?

  46. May as well? You're a very learned so I'm talking to a learned

  47. crowd. Very good, okay, So let's go to this word dunamis.

  48. What does it mean? Okay? What does it mean? It's a very

  49. familiar word to us, and if you've been churched long enough, you probably

  50. have heard messages around it. You probably had some teachings around it as well.

  51. So the word dunamis comes one hundred and seventeen times in the New Testament.

  52. And if the slight can come up, it will show you that.

  53. And it's a power that represents Wow. What does it represent? Right?

  54. It's force, right, energy, power and strength everything that you mentioned,

  55. La. Yes, when we think about Dunamis, we think about all these

  56. things that's happening now. When Jesus call out the demons, when Jesus raised

  57. the day, and when Jesus transformed the lives, these are all dunamis power

  58. work. Yes, so powerful? Right? Do you want that? WHOA?

  59. Some of you not really sure? But I have been on this journey

  60. where I want to see more of this happening. Right, I'm like hungry.

  61. I'm desiring that God, you will begin to work in this powerful donamous

  62. way in our everyday lives. Right, And it says Jesus says that everything

  63. that I do, you will do even greater things. Amen. So I'm

  64. thinking like, oh, what what is this greater things that we should be

  65. doing? Right? And we are not doing it? And is it because

  66. we are not seeing it? Sometimes we are already doing it, but we

  67. are not seeing it. And so that's what we're trying to understand today,

  68. Right, what is this donas power that God is talking about? And why

  69. does he want us to have this? Right? So do not is power?

  70. Let's go to the source. Okay, so we want to we want

  71. to understand that first of all, where is the source of power? God?

  72. Amen? All right, let's let's go to Coalitions chapter one, verse

  73. sixteen. By the way, how many of you were at homes last week?

  74. Homes? Yeah? So homes is our small group in church, and

  75. we call them homes because we meet in homes most of the time. But

  76. do you remember what was the attribute of God that we were learning at homes?

  77. Omniportone hundred marks? What's the other two? Omnitions? One more omni

  78. present you'll get a hundred marks. I will tell your homes leader you were

  79. listening? Or was it the homes leader was giving me the answer? All

  80. right? So do you know what omnipotent means? All powerful? All powerful?

  81. Right? And so let's read from Collations chapter one, verse sixteen.

  82. He says, for by Him all things were created that are in heaven and

  83. that are on earth and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or

  84. powers, all things were created through Him and for him, And He is

  85. before all things, and in him all things consist. Amen. I want

  86. you to look at the verse right now, the slide. Can you see

  87. I purposely highlighted some words for you because the emphasis is that what is the

  88. word that the owner highlight to you that you get it into your mind?

  89. What is it? All? All is? Eighty percent? Is it?

  90. Is it? Ninety percent? Is it? God? You can only touch

  91. everything else except my career. God, you can have power through everything except

  92. this sickness. All means all right, So by him all things were created.

  93. That means you tell your neighbor, a, you were created? Yes?

  94. Did you believe that? Or did you think that you just happened to

  95. be an accident? Oh? No, suchly an accident. Right, all

  96. things were created with a purpose. There is no accident in God. Right,

  97. and all things were created through Him and for Him. Can you just

  98. tell yourself I am created for God? Wow? Wow, I think that's

  99. setting some people free. Now, you are created for God. Do you

  100. know that without God there is no meaning in your life? There is no

  101. purpose without God, because Scripture says all things were created through Him and for

  102. him, and He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

  103. Everything, every everything in your life is found in God. Amen.

  104. I don't know how this is making you feel, but I feel very secure.

  105. I feel it peace knowing that no matter what tribulation, no matter what

  106. challenges, you're facing your sitard right now, everyone, if you look very

  107. nice, right, you look very you know your Sunday best. You have

  108. a smile on your face. But only God knows the depths of your heart.

  109. Only God knows the troubles, the turmoil, the anger, the bitterness

  110. within you. Do you think God doesn't know that? He knows it.

  111. He knows it, and he wants to minister to you. Amen. Amen,

  112. So that God is all powerful, we cannot even comprehend how big God

  113. is. Right, and so I mean for me, with that knowledge of

  114. knowing how God, how big God is every time I come into God's presence.

  115. I don't know how that makes you feel. If you are coming before

  116. a God who knows all things, what should your posture be? I don't

  117. know, honestly, think about it. If you come before the Prime Okay,

  118. maybe the Prime Mini isn't not a great example. If you come before

  119. someone who is great and all powerful, what is your posture? What kind

  120. of attitude would you come before God? Joy? Strength, what else?

  121. Reverence? Reverence, reverence? We sang the song Early, Holy, Holy,

  122. Holy is the Lord God Almighty? Did you come this morning into God's

  123. presence with that sense of awe and reverence? Amen? Do you know One

  124. of the groups the great things that you can did, and I would encourage

  125. all of you to do, is every time before they come for the Word

  126. of God, they will put aside your phones. Maybe I actually implement that

  127. right now everyone, your phones can be put aside for the next forty five

  128. minutes because you will not die without your phone. For the next forty five

  129. minutes. You won't be playing your phone right when you're talking to someone important,

  130. your boss, or someone like your parents. If you do, then

  131. I would say, that's very rude of you. Please stop doing that.

  132. Where is that awe and respect and reverence for God when we come into His

  133. presence and I'm speaking to all generations, You're not just the young people.

  134. Where is that sense of you know, when we are worshiping, I am

  135. worshiping with my Ah, God says, love God with Oh, all of

  136. your heart, all of your mind, all of your soul, off of

  137. your strength. Did you love God this morning that way? I know It's

  138. a hard one, right, But it's God's command. And if we say

  139. we love God, then are we behaving as though we are loving God?

  140. Do you know sometimes we don't see God's power in our lives. Is because

  141. we have disconnected from the source of power. Amen, we've disconnected from God

  142. and we say, ah, yeah, just another service, a yah.

  143. You know, doesn't matter if I miss the word time, you know,

  144. I go and to chat outside. Where is that sense when you come before

  145. God's presence? You know? Do you know that in Revelation he says when

  146. you come before God's presence, all of you will fall flat on your face,

  147. all flat because God's power is there. Wow? God is real,

  148. brothers, And if you don't know this God that I'm talking about, you're

  149. in for a root shock when Jesus comes back. He's not a weak God.

  150. Do you know? Sometimes we paint Jesus right, the meek and gentle

  151. lamb. But do you know that Jesus is painted as the powerful Ram of

  152. God. He's not a lamb. Mary had a little lamb, little lamb,

  153. very cute and free. Right. I'm sorry. If that is your

  154. picture of Jesus, then you will be very shocked when you meet Jesus,

  155. the son of God, the one who can command wins to say, be

  156. quiet, lightning stop, and it's stopped. Do you know our encounters with

  157. natural powers just really, I don't know whether you've encouned that anything like that.

  158. And anyone been through earthquakes, when you've seen volcanoes erup? Have you

  159. seen it? Have you seen the tsunami up close? Any encounter with the

  160. nature will just give you a sense of God's power and how small we are

  161. and how big God is. Amen. God is the source of all power,

  162. and he doesn't cease to have that power in him. There's nothing that

  163. can stop God's power. God is pure power in himself. Amen. Do

  164. you get that? Amen? So, But the beautiful thing is right,

  165. God is not just the source of all power. God wants to delegate power.

  166. This is my second point. Right, God wants to delegate power.

  167. Do you know? In the Word of God, right in the New Testament,

  168. there are four words that denote power. The first one that we're all

  169. familiar with is do right. The second one is this word called Okay.

  170. I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing it right. It's called excusia. Who so

  171. exotic right, excusia. It's used over one hundred times in the New Testament

  172. as well. But it's talking about this power. Is talking about a delegated

  173. authority, a delegated power, right, it says there, this power is

  174. the one that let me see. Okay, there is that physical or that

  175. mental power that the ability or the strength with which one is endued. Do

  176. you know what is endured? Miss? Something comes on you. There is

  177. a power that comes on you and then you have that extra ordinary strength.

  178. By the way, since we're talking about Samson, right, do you know

  179. that Sampson was just like a stick guy, like maybe like a bassa Johnson.

  180. Passa Johnson you want to they're not and show everyone. Okay, he's

  181. worship leader right, just now so you paid. Do you know why people

  182. were amazed with Samson? If Samson was someone who was like Arno shows nigger

  183. displaying his strength, do you think they will be impressed with him? Ah?

  184. Yeah, he worked out wide, right? Do you know that Sampson's

  185. power. He tore open lions right a lion's mouth, and then after that

  186. he killed philistines with just a stick. People were amazed because where did he

  187. get his strength? He looked like such a thin guy. So all your

  188. images right your your Sunday school images of Samson like that, like that,

  189. or you can burn it away ready. Because Samson was a guy, his

  190. power came from God to work in him. An ordinary tin guy too,

  191. with extraordinary strength. Do you see now that it was not because of his

  192. physical ability or his strength, or that he worked out three hundred and sixty

  193. five times a day. It was because God's power came upon him, and

  194. do it upon him and you will see it all in the Old Testament,

  195. right, God's spirit came upon different individuals. Yes, but good news.

  196. I have good news for you believers, because in the New Testament God didn't

  197. just say, okay, today you get a little bit of Holy Spirit.

  198. Tomorrow Elie will get some, okay. Then next day someone else will get

  199. a little bit of the Holy Spirit. No, God says, I have

  200. come to give you the Holy Spirit. And so the Holy Spirit is within

  201. us right now. So why are we living as though we have no power?

  202. Something is a disconnect here, right If we believe that Jesus Christ has

  203. gone up to heaven and has given us the Holy Spirit, God the Father

  204. has given us the Holy spirit. Why are Christians living under the subjection of

  205. the world's power and not God's power. There is a bit of a disconnect

  206. there, right, And so we want to understand that God actually has given

  207. us power. He wants to give us power, this power, to have

  208. influenced, this power, to stand under authority of Christ, to step on

  209. the devil and say, you have no power over me. Amen. Let's

  210. read from Matthew twenty eight. Where does this come from, this power of

  211. this source of delegated authority. Matthew twenty eight, verse eighteen. He says,

  212. and Jesus came and spoke to them, saying again, how much authority,

  213. all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. So

  214. God has all authority. He has delegated all authority to his son Jesus Christ.

  215. And guess what Jesus did with the authority. He kept it off for

  216. himself. Right. Okay, No, let's move on to matth two.

  217. Let's look at Matthew chapter ten, verse one. It says, and when

  218. he had called his twelve disciples to him, he gave them power over unclean

  219. spirits, to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all

  220. kinds of disease. Amen. Amen, God just gave to the apostles right

  221. because the rest of us we are not working anymore? Is it? If

  222. you believe that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, the same power that

  223. was given to the toelve disciples is now given unto you. Do you believe

  224. that God wants God is the source of all power, But God wants to

  225. give us that power as well. Amen. Now, the third point that

  226. we want to think about God's power is the power that we believe verse receive

  227. is a gift. Say yay, I have a gift. It's your birthday

  228. today. Everyone. You don't just get your birth your birthday gift on your

  229. birthday. You get your gift every day in Christ Jesus. Amen. Every

  230. day is a gift from God. Every day. And let's look at the

  231. first gift that God has given us. Right. This is the power of

  232. God's salvation. Amen. Hallelujah. Oh you're not very happy? Are you

  233. happy that God has given you your salvation? I don't know. Sometimes many

  234. of us take our salvation for granted. Do you know that the greatest miracle,

  235. in spite of all the kind of powers that you've seen, right,

  236. all the powers that Jesus has, all the miracles that Jesus has done,

  237. and that always denotes the supernatural, the power raise the date right, heal

  238. the sick, open up the eyes of the blind, heal the death.

  239. Those are the things sometimes you're looking for, you know. When I was

  240. at the death Caeme right, So, one of the questions that came up

  241. from one of our deaf community sisters, she said, I see God's power

  242. at work in other people's life, but I don't seem to have it in

  243. my own life. Have you ever thought about that question? It's like,

  244. oh, I can see or passic cannot preaching, you know, and it

  245. was so powerful and he lay hands and boom everyone is down, and but

  246. you're like, oh, when I pray, right, I don't hear the

  247. heavens open. I didn't see any angels. I don't see power of God.

  248. And sometimes we can go with this perception that, oh, I think

  249. God's power is not within me. Can I tell you that the greatest power

  250. that you have experienced is the power of your salvation? Amen? Do you

  251. know how hard it is for one to be saved? Do you know how

  252. hard it is, and it's years and years of sowing and praying, someone

  253. praying for each one of you. Do you know that you're not here by

  254. accident. Someone has prayed for you, Someone has wept tears for your soul,

  255. for your salvation, and it is the power of the Holy Spirit who

  256. was working at you since your birth. Do you know that before your from

  257. God already knew you. How amazing God is. He's all knowing, He

  258. saw you, and he says, yep that brother, yep, that sister.

  259. I have a purpose for you. And he has brought you through your

  260. life, every season that you've gone through, just so that you today you

  261. can be seated here knowing with the assurance that God's power has worked in your

  262. life, your salvation. I was talking to someone during coffee break, so

  263. I was just asking her, Hey, how's your week, bin She's like,

  264. I don't know how to feel about it because my one of my grandparents

  265. just passed away this morning. Oh I know straight away, right, But

  266. do you know that as believers and if our family members are believers in the

  267. Lord Jesus Christ, do you know we It's it's a mixed feelings, right,

  268. mixed feelings of like, yes, we're sad for the loss, but

  269. we are rejoicing because we believe. The hope that we have is that this

  270. precious person is with the Lord Jesus Christ. If this is the hope that

  271. we have, you're ready to go meet with Jesus today. Yes, I

  272. don't know. Some of you're not sure. I know the young people when

  273. I ask this question, right, all the young people will say and not

  274. yet, not yet. I haven't explored the world, I haven't get married

  275. yet, I don't have kids yet. I'm not ready to meet with Jesus.

  276. But we are saying, if Jesus is the best and the bestest and

  277. the bestest of all things you can experience on earth, we are like,

  278. ah, but I don't want that. I want what the world offers.

  279. Oh, so we are a bit washila what we want. But I hope

  280. that you you recognize that our life, seventy eighty ninety years of our lives,

  281. is just, but like that it can go anytime. And so what

  282. you do with your day, day by day, each day that God has

  283. given you is something that we have to account for. Amen. So God's

  284. so so if nothing else you've experienced in your life I've never seen the angels,

  285. you know, I've never seen any power. Can you Can you just

  286. acknowledge that I am saved in God, Jesus, in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  287. And that is the power of God working in you already, and it

  288. will continue to work in you. Amen, And it doesn't stop. Do

  289. you know God's power continues to salvage us. Salvation is a process, right.

  290. We are not fully complete yet, we're not perfect. None of us

  291. are perfect. But God is perfecting us. And therefore God's power is continuously

  292. at work. It hasn't stopped. Then you're like, uh, okay,

  293. I don't see that evidence. But I see that I'm nicer now, I

  294. see that I have more discipline. I see that I am giving to God

  295. a little bit more. There's something amazing about God's transforming your life. And

  296. that is power. And don't dismiss God's power in that. Because it says

  297. in Second Peter one Tree that God, as his divine power, has given

  298. to us all things wow that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of

  299. Him who called us by glory and virtue. Do you know that now,

  300. because of the salvation that God has given us, we have the power to

  301. live a godly life. Wow, do you believe that you can live a

  302. godly life? Then you're thinking, oh, man, there's still a lot

  303. of things that I need to work out. It's fine, but I want

  304. to tell you that you actually have the power to live a godly life.

  305. Do you know what we are saved from? If you think about your salvation?

  306. Right, we talk about salvation. What are you safe from? What

  307. are you say from? What do you say from Hantu? You are safe

  308. from sin? And therefore, when Jesus died on the cross and he was

  309. buried, and he was raised up from the dead, he has broken the

  310. power of sin. Do you believe this is our salvation? Guys? This

  311. is the very gospel that we believe in. Jesus has broken the power of

  312. sin. So now you can say I have the power of Christ to not

  313. sin in my life. It is a lie for you to continue to believe

  314. that I am a human being and therefore I will need to continue to sin.

  315. No, I want to tell you that if you are a reborn Christian,

  316. you are a born again believer in Christ Jesus, you now have the

  317. power in you to not live a sinful life. It's a lie to say,

  318. oh, it's okayila God, God is gonna be okay with some sin.

  319. Right, of course, he can expect me to live a perfect life.

  320. I'm only human. But do you know that that's just an excuse for

  321. you to not change and to continue to just say, yep, you know

  322. this is who I am and God has no power to change that. Oh,

  323. that's in fact what we're saying. Right, If you're saying that God

  324. cannot change me, it's God all powerful. Now, I want to declare

  325. to you, those of you who are in bondage of anything, whether there

  326. is a secret sin that nobody knows, it's a secret thought, it's a

  327. habit. I want to set you free and say God is powerful enough to

  328. set you free from any bondage, every wrong thinking, every lustful desire.

  329. God wants to set you free. You receive that. Do you believe that

  330. God can do that for you? It's here, you know, it's that's

  331. with you believe that God. You're all powerful and therefore all this you can

  332. do it at the snap of a finger. Let's not mess with God's power.

  333. The devil is powerful. He's the prince of darkness in this world.

  334. But you know what God's world says, He who is in me is weika

  335. weika greater than he who is in this world. Do you believe God's word?

  336. Say the one in me, holy Spirit in me is greater than any

  337. powers of darkness. Amen, receive that into your spirit. Receive that and

  338. say, God's power is greater. It's not me, it is God.

  339. Yes, He has given us this gift. And so Christians, you guys,

  340. all of us, we should be the most secure in our identity.

  341. We should be the most confident, not in our ability, but in God,

  342. Christ Jesus. Don't fall under the lies of the enemy no longer.

  343. Say enough enough, right? Why do we allow the devil to mess with

  344. our hats? And we say God's truth, God's word is all powerful.

  345. Amen. Now see the beautiful thing. And we don't have time to read

  346. through the whole of Ephesians. But if you run, I want to grasp

  347. a little bit about the bigness and the exceeding greatness of God's power. I

  348. highly, highly encourage you to read the Letter to the Ephicians. Okay,

  349. Letter the Ephicians. Just read it and you begin to see, and you

  350. begin to pick out what God has in store for us is an inheritance.

  351. It's what we get to have because we believe in Jesus Christ. So many

  352. of us right live like we are so poor Christians. Why do you think

  353. that you're such a poor Christian? Do you know that we have so much

  354. inheritance that God wants to give us? Wow, let me read to you

  355. some scriptures. Okay, let's go to Ephesians chapter one, Verses seventeen to

  356. twenty one. I'm not lying. This is God's word to you, Reading

  357. from verse seventeen, that the God of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the

  358. Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in

  359. the knowledge of Him. Amen. That is God's give just even having the

  360. spirit of wisdom and revelation verse eighteen, The eyes of your understanding be enlightened

  361. that you may know what is the hope of his calling, What are the

  362. riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the

  363. exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe a man according to the working

  364. of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from

  365. the dead, and sit to him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

  366. far above all principality and power and mind and dominion, and every name

  367. that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which

  368. is to come. Imen. Paul is trying to tell the Christians who are

  369. poor in their mindset, like, Oh, woe is me? I have

  370. so much troubles, I have so much challenges. God, why did you

  371. leave me? And God? Is Paul is telling the church in Ephesus,

  372. Hey, did you not know that God has given you all these things?

  373. The spirit of wisdom, the spirit of knowledge, all this God is like

  374. waiting to give to us. And we're like, no, I don't know

  375. where is God? Don't know where is God? And God has already given

  376. this to us. It is whether we want to receive it or not.

  377. Amen. Ephesians two, chapter four to seven says is, but God,

  378. are you okay if you read some scriptures? Ephesians two versus fall the seven

  379. says, but God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love

  380. with big she loved us even when we were dead in our trespasses, made

  381. us alive together with Christ. By grace, you have been saved and raised

  382. us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places, in

  383. Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches

  384. of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. Amen, Christians,

  385. we can no longer afford to live as though we are poor. We have

  386. so much in Christ. Amen. And of course you know this verse Emphasian

  387. chapter three, verse twenty. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly,

  388. abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that

  389. works in us, to him with a glory, in a church, by

  390. Christ Jesus, to all generations, forever and ever a man. Amen.

  391. Do you know that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is now

  392. in you. Tell your neighbor you have resurrection power. We were once dead

  393. in our sins right, and God has raised us up. Hallelujah. Can

  394. you see the evidence of God's power? Look around you? You see people

  395. alive? Or do you see date people walking? Oh, evidence of God's

  396. power? Are you alive? And well, that's God's power at you.

  397. Do you know sometimes we are chasing after the big things, right, and

  398. we forget that God is actually working, working, working in US and through

  399. us. Do you know at the death cam right, So we were,

  400. do you know, it's a very it's a very new experience for me to

  401. be with our deaf community, right, because we are always with the hearing

  402. community all the time, and we take things for granted, right, we

  403. take things like oh, yeah, we're just talking. We can't just say

  404. hello, you know, hi, get people's attention and they will look to

  405. you. But do you know in a death world that doesn't work, right,

  406. And so it was a privilege for Eloping who and I to be a

  407. ministry at the deaf community, and so it was very awkward, I have

  408. to be honest. So we were there and so you know we started the

  409. day with a priis and worship. Right do you know that I really believe?

  410. Right, it's only within the deaf community that you know whether someone is

  411. worshiping or not. You cannot run away because how they worship is they sign

  412. right, they follow the worship leader right over here. You can just for

  413. your arms and I can't really tell, right, of course, your body

  414. language tells a lot. But for them if they are just like that,

  415. right, it means they're not worshiping. God because they cannot sing, right,

  416. so the only way they express is thru to your hands. So I

  417. was saying one hundred percent or worshiping God, Praise the Lord. I wish

  418. all of us one hundred percent praise to God all the time. Amen,

  419. you don't need someone to tell you to worship God. Again, what is

  420. your posture when you come before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?

  421. You just put aside everything and you come before God. It's like one

  422. hundred percent focus on who God is. Right, And so so we did

  423. the praise and worship and Alopango shed a word. Do you know that within

  424. them there's a tree, there's like a relay interpret interpretation. So we are

  425. speaking and then there's a hearing interpreter who's signing that language, and then there

  426. is a death interpreter who's then picking up the signals and then sharing that to

  427. the congregation. Right. So, so that was really really interesting because the

  428. way they understand things, the way concepts are very different for the deaf community.

  429. In fact, actually there's a deaf community like experience on a twenty something

  430. September. Please sign up for it, right, I think it's such a

  431. precious group of people that God has brought into our myths, right, and

  432. so you know, it's it's really for me, it felt like a mission

  433. trip because it was like INTERculture all right, getting to know this people and

  434. they you know, one of the things that I am so encouraged and so

  435. inspired by them, right is for them, their questions always revolve around how

  436. do I reach out to more people? They are so mission minded, you

  437. know, do you know? And that's why Concy shed earlier that they have

  438. a heart to plan to reach that. There's about four hundred thousand deaf community

  439. in Malaysia and right now there's only one percent that is churched. There's a

  440. bit of work to do there, but only they can reach themselves write their

  441. community because they understand so anyway, and so we finished that, they had

  442. games. It was fun to be with them, and the next session I

  443. was supposed to share on Discible Shape, right. So you know, sometimes

  444. we associate the power and the presence of God with hype, yes, loud

  445. noise, my member bang, beautiful music, light and sound, right,

  446. and then if you are I can really feel God's presence because we are so

  447. sensual, right, we rely on our hearing can you imagine watching a movie

  448. no sound? You're like, or not, go gop it twenty four ring,

  449. go watch a movie and say no sound please, silent movie. You

  450. probably be thinking that's the worst experience of your life, right, because you

  451. can't feel the impact, you can't hear the sound, you can't hear you

  452. know, all the impact that's happening anyways. So we associate sometimes God's presence

  453. and power with that loud, thundering noise, right with that big boom.

  454. And there we were after I shed the message, and then I was like,

  455. Okay, I'm done, thank you very much. I didn't know how

  456. to continue. Chris, You're so okay, we're so used to right,

  457. Thank God for our extreme band Praise God because they help ease the awkwardness for

  458. all of us. True not they play soft music. And then you're like,

  459. okay, not so awkward, but in that camp, no music.

  460. So it was just okay, finished sharing already, thank you. So I

  461. went off the stage and Deafne, who is the main one of the death

  462. hearing interpreters, she came up and she says, Okay, tonight's the last

  463. night I can. So she was signing all this things she's like, okay,

  464. we want to open the altar for prayer now, right, so please

  465. come out for prayer. And all of them came out for prayer one by

  466. one. But do you know, right this prayer, right, you pray

  467. with your eyes open? One, you know, sometimes we're like, you

  468. want to prayer any were close her eyes and hopefully something happened, right this

  469. one. Don't close your eyes please, because you're praying. And you're like,

  470. of course they have to interpret what you're saying, right, and so

  471. you have to see their response. Or it was my most alert prayer time.

  472. I was looking at the different ones and you know, just releasing God's

  473. word so so so it's it's it's like, it's it's you know, sometimes

  474. silence can be very deafening. But anyways, okay, so so we pray

  475. and we pray, and one of the ladies, she was the other pre

  476. believer that came. One of our deaf friends came right and throughout the whole

  477. day, you know, she's been sharing and and and she just stepped up

  478. and she says, you know, I'm so tired of my life. I'm

  479. so tired of carrying all these burdens and she's got all her challenges, and

  480. she's like, I want to rest. So I took it as sign and

  481. I asked her, are you ready to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your

  482. personal lot and savior? Right? And and she was like yes, right,

  483. And then we went through the south. Of course, right in my

  484. mind, right, all the salvation be gone ready. I don't I can't

  485. remember. I don't know why I cannot remember. Every every Sunday we pray,

  486. right, can you please like just remember that prayer? But anyway,

  487. I was, I was struggling to remember the right words. But I was

  488. just praying, you know, yeah, Lord Jesus Christ and the person a

  489. lot and Savior. So I was like, fucking like nonsense, Lama.

  490. But but she she signed it, and you know, and she followed it

  491. and and she she just received the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, all glory

  492. into God. And and the moment she was done, her friend who invited

  493. her started sobbing and sobbing and sobbing and crying because this is a precious salvation

  494. unto the Lord. And then after that there was another lady. Then this

  495. lady herself came up because she also has many challenges, and she's like,

  496. you know, I want to pray for all these things, right, so

  497. at least five items, okay. So she was like, you know this

  498. five dons pray for me. I'm like, okay, I can't remember.

  499. It was like nine something then of clot already, right, we've been there

  500. the whole day. So I was like, okakay, So God help me

  501. how to do this right? And and so when when I I, you

  502. know, I started praying for her, right, not knowing what's going to

  503. happen, the Lord brought to me the woman with the issue of blood.

  504. So I just started by saying, oh, I'm reminder of the woman with

  505. the issue of blood. Boom, she fell down. I haven't even touched

  506. her yet. I haven't even done anything yet, right, And she just

  507. fell by the power of God. And and she she was just on the

  508. floor being I say, okay, God, I don't need to no words

  509. that I use is going to minister to her as much as God's power upon

  510. her. Amen. And so I was just on the on the floor with

  511. her, and I was just praying. And do you know what, I've

  512. been a level for such a long time, right, And and we believe

  513. in this church that we pray in tongues. Right that night, God gave

  514. me a new tongue. And and I was just praying in this language that

  515. I've never heard myself speak. Do you know that when you speak in tongues

  516. you recognize write some of the words. Right, But that very night God

  517. just gave just flawed, flawed and flawed, and and she she was just

  518. being ministered. So I mean, I I came came out from it.

  519. I was like, whoa, what what just happened? What just happened?

  520. And and you know, there was no loud, fun fanfare, there were

  521. no trumpets, there was nothing huge to shout about in that sense. But

  522. do you know when God's power is at work in people's life, you sense

  523. it. Do you know the woman with the issue of blood, right,

  524. she touched Jesus. Jesus is who touched me? And they're like, soa,

  525. are you Jesus? Everyone is touching against you? Why are you saying?

  526. Who's touching me? And he said, I felt power really leave my

  527. body And that is the kind of power that God wants us to release.

  528. Do you know? God reminded me, right, I know my time is

  529. running short, but do you know this whole the word do not missed?

  530. You know, do not miss Do you know a dynamo? Do you know

  531. what dynamo is? It's something it's a device, a machine that causes it

  532. to generate electricity. That's power, right, energy that generates energy and so

  533. that it can flow out right, We you and me, we are like

  534. walking generators. We are like walking dynamos. Yes, say another word for

  535. this work armies. Right, It's called potential. We only know it as

  536. power, but there is also something called potential power. And so sometimes as

  537. Christians, we are walking around, right, this is us. Can you

  538. imagine got power? Right? Uh? And then but we are walking on

  539. a two percent battery. Yes, we are still alive. We are still

  540. doing the things. You're still going to work, we still have our families,

  541. but we are running on two percent. What do you do when you

  542. do it when your phone is two percent charge? How come you'll know how

  543. to do it for your phones, but you don't know how to do it

  544. for yourself. And that's why we feel that there is no power a two

  545. percent left. You want to do any internet banking transactioner, you're probably like

  546. just consider let me go and look for our source or power. Can I

  547. borrow a power? Bang? Right? If you if you're living on a

  548. two percent and you have not experienced God's power, then I would suggest you

  549. to go and look for this, right, and then you will look for

  550. a source of power. You'll try and plug it in and you connect yourself

  551. to the source of power. Yes, and so many of us are weak

  552. because we are not charging ourselves. Have your experienced when you plug in and

  553. then you go away for half an you come back and it's two to two

  554. percent? What happened? What happened? Oh, you didn't switch online?

  555. That's right, very clever. Right. You think you're plug already, but

  556. you forgot to switch on. You forgot to invite the Holy Spirit. Source

  557. of power is the Holy Spirit. Amen. And so you connect yourself,

  558. right, you connect and you charge yourself like once a week. No,

  559. oh, technology, not there is it? You charge yourself first thing in

  560. the morning. Right. I wonder where are we charging ourselves every day?

  561. No wonder we are tired, No wonder we are weak. No wonder we

  562. fall into sin. It's because we didn't charge ourselves with the power of God.

  563. And the power of God. Right, is anything from worship, to

  564. prayer, to reading God's word, because once you are charged with this,

  565. then you can go about your day. Right, And this is a revelation

  566. that God gave to me. At the end of the day, if you

  567. feel you're tired, you are weak, it's okay, guess what you have

  568. used up your energy? The question is what are using your energy for?

  569. Do you know there's a lot of power leakage in us? You know,

  570. technology has not devised something that it can keep power in itself fully, it's

  571. leaking on. So do you know that as humans we leak also and not

  572. the other can't leak, but leak. We leak God's power. And that's

  573. why we need to charge every day. And at the end of the day,

  574. I'd rather be tired and exhausted, but I know that I have been

  575. used by God. I think that's the best kind of usage. Right.

  576. Do you know the whole day you can be on your phone right t talking

  577. and I don't know whatever that you're doing. At the end of the day,

  578. you want to ask yourself, has this been glorifying to God? Or

  579. has your life your energy? All of us have twenty four hours, all

  580. of us have a level of energy, But what are you using it for?

  581. Amen? And the last one I want to close with this. God

  582. has given us all power, and God has given us this power to make

  583. him. No, do you know that the power given to you is not

  584. for yourself? Right? Do you think that your phone is like talking to

  585. itself and doing things for yourself? The phone is to be used, correct,

  586. and the beneficiary is who? Who's the beneficiary of whatever you use on

  587. your phone? Most of the time we say it's us, right, I

  588. just use this for myself. But God is saying, would you use this

  589. for others? And this is in Acts chapter one, verse eight. But

  590. you will receive power, do namis when the Holy Spirit comes on you,

  591. and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samarah and

  592. to the ends of the earth. Why did God give us power in the

  593. first place? So that we can be wealthy and happy and live our own

  594. lives on an island in Greece? Is that why God gave us power?

  595. Do you know as we were worshiping, right, God, just drop this

  596. to this revelation to me? Do you know we do you understand that God

  597. is the source of all power? Now? Yes, Do you understand that

  598. God has delegated his power and his authority upon you and me, and that

  599. we no longer have to live like weak Christians, that we have the power

  600. of God. The thing is right. Many of us remain just potential power

  601. and not real power to be used by God. You can't have the power.

  602. It's in you. Holy Spirit is in you. But unless you activate

  603. it, unless you exercise and use that power, you will remain potential power.

  604. Correct. All of us have that potential, and we want to begin

  605. to use it more and more, to be if effective, to be so

  606. wide so that we can get blessed. No, so that the ninety nine

  607. percent that needs to hear the gospel can hear it, God says in the

  608. Lord's Prayer, for yours is there. Yours is the Kingdom, the power

  609. and the glory forever and ever. Amen. So power is in the middle.

  610. It's not everything. You know what power? What is above power is

  611. purpose, purpose, for yours is the kingdom. Do you know that God

  612. gave us power so that we can fulfill His kingdom. It's not power for

  613. yourself power to do? What do you think Jesus raised all the day so

  614. you can become famous and earn millions on YouTube. No, God, Jesus

  615. was fulfilling God's purpose, which was to save all men. That is the

  616. reason why we have power, is to fulfill God's purpose. For yours is

  617. the kingdom, the glory, the power, and the glory because finally it

  618. comes to praise unto God. Amen. Your power that you have activated within

  619. you is to fulfill God's purpose and ultimately to give him praise. Amen.

  620. And I want to share this. Just in the morning, one of my

  621. homies came up to me and she just shared with me that she had a

  622. great holiday, right great, And she said that before she left her trip.

  623. Right suddenly, she she is a first gen believer in a family and

  624. just before she went on a trip that night, she spent talking to her

  625. mom about God and her salvation journey and everything that God has done and frustrated

  626. in her life. And she said, for the first time, I had

  627. no fear, no fear of judgment, no fear of what my mom would

  628. think about me, because this person is very, very committed to God and

  629. serving God all the time. Right, for the first time, there was

  630. no fear, but there was just boldness and God's peace working in her.

  631. That is God's power. God's power gives you that boldness to say I don't

  632. It doesn't matter what other people think. But God is just rating us to

  633. be the witnesses to those around us, and that is what God's power is

  634. for Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information
