You're listening to a message to go from ex Church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. You know our five WS in our church,
-
right mm hmmm, okay, So the first W wordship, the word warmed,
-
works, and witness. Okay for those of you who have been with
-
X, you know, even if you are hearing this for the first time,
-
that's all right. But this is our DNA and what we really really
-
believe here even in X. Today, I want to touch on the fifth
-
W, the last and the final W, which is witnessing. That's something
-
that I think I personally am the weakest at and I'm not sure about some
-
of you, but that's what the Lord also has been speaking to me,
-
and I pray that this will be a blessing to all of you as well.
-
I would like to share on witnessing today and I've taken some of I've
-
taken some of my notes out from our Experienced book and that Pastor Canist wrote,
-
And if you have not gotten hold of this book, you should so
-
that you know the DNA of our church and what we really believe in now
-
life is a mission. That's my first point today. So I have three
-
simple, well treated four simple points today, do we all believe that?
-
Now? A famous evangelist one say this, a church that does not reach
-
the laws is loss itself. Do you agree? So, if we are
-
not reaching the laws, if we call ourselves the church, we are lost
-
ourselves, all right. So a church must reach the laws, and if
-
not, then we are not the church, because the Church of God have
-
to reach the laws. Now, let me read from X chapter twenty.
-
Now I have in my slight in the New Living Translation verse twenty four.
-
Okay, of X chapter twenty, this was what Paul. He was speaking
-
to the elders of the church in full right. So in verse twenty four
-
he said, but my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it
-
for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus, the work of telling
-
others the good news about the wonderful grace of God. Now I want to
-
read a bit before that, a few verses before verse twenty four in the
-
New King James version, starting from verse seventeen. So again this was Paul
-
speaking to the elders of Ephesus. So in verse seventeen he said, from
-
Militius, he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church.
-
And when he had come to him, he said to them, you know
-
from the first day that I came to Asia in what manner I always lived
-
among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials
-
which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews. How I kept back
-
nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you and taught you publicly and
-
from house to house verse twenty one, testifying to Jews and also to Greeks
-
repentance towards God, and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ. And see now
-
I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will
-
happen to me there, except in verse twenty three, that the Holy Spirit
-
testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. So Paul
-
was telling the elders that he knows what is ahead of him. But in
-
verse twenty four he told the elders this, that even though what is ahead
-
of him is change, imprisonment, persecution, he told them this, but
-
none of these things. So these things that he's talking about is the persecution
-
that he's going to face, all right, So the persecution is going to
-
face They're going to put him in prison, bullying, in chains, these
-
things. None of these things to move me, nor do I count my
-
life dear to myself. That's what Paul say in the New King James version,
-
so that I may finish my race with joy, Wow. And the
-
ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the
-
grace of God. Paul was very clear of his ministry. His ministry was
-
to testify of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And hence to him
-
well, and I pray to all of us as well. His life means
-
nothing unless he finished the work that God has assigned him to do. All
-
right, turn to your neighbor, it said, I have work assigned for
-
me. Turn to the other neighbor. God has assigned a work for me
-
very good. So, regardless whether we choose to believe it or not,
-
our over arching purpose in life is to please God. Do you agree with
-
that? Agree that? Can I hear an amen? Our overarching purpose in
-
life? Yeah, not to make babies, not to earn a lot of
-
money. It's all important, all important, But the most important purpose is
-
to please God. And how do we please God? And the only way
-
to please God is to obey God. You cannot say you love God and
-
don't obey him, right, You tell that your kids still you say you
-
obey me. You have me, you say you love me, you have
-
to obey me. Right, Yes, for parents speaking the kids. Right.
-
So the only way to please God is to obey him and in whatever
-
that he tells us to do, and that and that our entire life is
-
a mission. Okay. So when we entered God's family, right, God
-
crowned us as one of his children. So remember we were saved by grace
-
and into the family of God. Right, and we inherited what just like
-
some of us sometimes we inherit things from our grandfather, great great grandfather father.
-
Inherit means you didn't earn it, you inherited it. So we inherited
-
family business from the Lord. What do you think is God's business? The
-
business of saving souls, that's right. So the work of saving souls is
-
our family business that you and I inherited when we came into the family of
-
God. Okay, So you cannot tell your father, your grandfather, I
-
don't want this inheritance and it's given to you, and that, okay,
-
what you want to do with it. Of course, you can have a
-
choice of what you do with it, but it's given to you. And
-
just when God call us into his family, the work of saving souls become
-
our family business. And we're not just saving souls from being cheated, you
-
know, losing money, but saving souls from an eternity without God. All
-
right, Church, So if we genuinely love the Lord, and I know
-
all of us love the Lord, today you know why you are here.
-
We're all here because we love the Lord, and we have experienced the love
-
of Christ in our lives. And if you have not, but you happen
-
to be here. I prayed that at the end of this service today you
-
will give your heart to Jesus to have that personal work with Jesus. All
-
right, So all of us we genuine love the Lord and we have a
-
personal relationship with Him, and because of that, it is natural for us
-
to develop a heart of compassion for people, even if in the past,
-
before we came to know the Lord, we have never felt that way before,
-
meaning we just do our own thing with my our own business, and
-
we never felt that way for other people. But because of our relationship with
-
the Lord. Now he creates that purpose in our lives. So God designed
-
us with certain talents and abilities. Do you know that there are a lot
-
of things that you can do, Graham, that I cannot do. But
-
there are some things I can do when we Eliza can't do. Okay.
-
So God designed all of us with certain talents and abilities that will lead us
-
into specific I would say, specific wherever He is leading you to, your
-
school, your workplace, your family. You must way, why am I
-
in the world in this place? God has led you there? And if
-
you are there, he has a plan for you right specific school, workplace,
-
or even positions of influence to rich people that nobody can accept you.
-
And that is your mission. Fuel Turn to your neighbor and say, I
-
have a mission. Film very good, all right that one neighbor. Later
-
the other side, okay, later, all right, I have a mission.
-
Feel So, what is the great commission of the Lord to all of
-
us? I'm sure we can recite it, right Mattel twenty eighth, verses
-
eighteen to twenty. Jesus came and told his disciples we should memorize this,
-
and we memorize and if you can put at the door post of your door
-
or your car, and every day you remind yourself God, this is your
-
commission to me. This is my life purpose. Jesus came and told his
-
disciples he has so many things to tell your disciples before he ascended to heaven,
-
but he chose this. Okay, okay, I have given I have
-
been given all authority in heaven and on earth new living translation. Therefore,
-
go and make disciples for all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
-
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And that's why water butters
-
is so important. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commandments I have
-
given you, and be sure of this. And I love it. God
-
didn't just give us a commission without assuring us. He gave us a commission,
-
and he assured us be sure of this. Are you sure that I
-
am with you always, even to the end of the age. Now,
-
mission m SiO n is not spelled as mem SiO n right, not me
-
mission all right. So Jesus wants us to know that when we try so
-
hard to make something of our lives. So if you say the great commission,
-
might is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them,
-
teaching them dah, and he said, I'm with you. And even in
-
Mattel six, Study three, he says that sick for the kingdom of God
-
and all his righteouses and all the things will be added onto you. God
-
always teaches us to obey first, and then the blessing will come. Right,
-
okay, so always teach us that. So, but sometimes we try
-
so hard to make something of our lives. Right, We try so hard,
-
okay, but we lose ourselves in trying to achieve that. But if
-
we will be obedient to follow God doing the things that he calls us to
-
do instead, and sometimes what he calls us to do might require some dying
-
to self like okay, to our own carnal nature, our carnal desires,
-
we would find true meaning in living, immen, Life is found in living
-
for others. So turn to your other neighbor just now that you did not
-
say and say life is found in living in living for others too long?
-
Right? Life is found in living for others. Do you agree, Church?
-
Do you agree life is found in living for others? So if only
-
we will be obedient to follow God and just like what He has promised us,
-
He will be with us always and instead he will give us all that
-
we need, and we do not need to be the ones fighting for it
-
and finding it for ourselves. Amen. Amen. So that's my first point,
-
okay, as I draw out, even from the book and also from
-
the world of God, that our life is a mission. That God of
-
all well commandments, or we call it commission, he chose the commission,
-
the Great Commission, to be the very last word before he assented to heaven.
-
Nothing else can be the importance of the Great Commission in our Christian life.
-
Amen. Amen. So life is a mission, meaning we have no
-
greater purpose in life but to live out the will of God for our lives.
-
Amen. Now. And the second part, the second point that I've
-
drawn out from here of being a witness is being a witness for Christ.
-
Now, what's the meaning of witness? Drawing out the meaning the actual meaning
-
of witness? Okay, So the fifth w is witnessing, right, our
-
five ws The fifth w is witnessing. So let us first understand what witnessing
-
is. So when you say witness, what picture comes to mind? Any
-
lawyers in the house. I'm no lawyer, so I have no idea what
-
happens in the court room. Do you'all have any idea? So I went
-
to search some picture. I got found one picture. Okay, okay,
-
cause I fought found a few picture, but I chose this one. Imagine,
-
okay, so what what what picture comes to your mind of a witness,
-
someone testifying something. Yeah, and then like you know, I don't
-
know, they raise the super hand and then they say, you know,
-
okay, I promise to say whatever. Then then they say that what what
-
what are they doing? They are just testifying what they seen, they heard,
-
or they yeah, or they know that's it correct, Okay. So
-
that's what I can imagine as well. So I can imagine, yes,
-
someone standing in front of the lawyers, the judge, the jury and giving
-
an account of what happened. Okay. So so usually when you a witness
-
is called to stand, he or she is expected to tell exactly what happened.
-
Cannot add anything, one cannot at salt at whatever, right, just
-
say it as it is, okay. So that's what we call a court
-
house testimony, all right, a courthouse testimony. So, and that is
-
exactly what we are called to do to be we are called to be a
-
witness. So a witness, for Christ just means telling people what you know,
-
what you have seen, what you have heard, all right, So
-
witnessing is merely telling something that you have personally experienced before. You can't tell
-
someone something that you don't know, right, I can't, Okay, So
-
you can only tell them something that you have tasted, you have experienced before.
-
Right. So it is about more moddingling out to others what following Jesus
-
really means. So witnessing besides telling, So, of course witnessing is more
-
than just using our mouth to tell, to share. It's also about modeling
-
out to others what following Jesus really means. And it happens twenty four to
-
seven months. It's no such thing as today it's my day to be a
-
witness. Tomorrow I'm not a witness, okay, no such thing okay,
-
okay. So it's a natural thing that comes from our life of following Jesus.
-
So we should not even need to think too hard about it because it's
-
something that should come naturally. Right. It becomes a part a lifestyle,
-
a part of who we are. But so often we become a bit afraid
-
when we talk about this word winnessing. Honestly, I am also why not
-
okay, witness to your neighbor, oh, Dear God, the counting and
-
that, yeah you think, Lord, you know you think like that,
-
okay, or witness to someone that you meant at the now. We don't
-
wait for buses anymore, right, Sometimes we wait or we're waiting for something,
-
or you're in line, you're queuing, or you met someone. Yeah,
-
we're afraid to tell about Jesus because we're afraid to be maybe bombarded with
-
questions about the faith, and sometimes we feel that you are not ready to
-
answer, or sometimes maybe they don't agree with what you say. But in
-
reality, most people are okay, or they are happy to at least hear
-
your testimony. They are happy to hear your story of how you know Jesus
-
and who is this Jesus to you and how you have walk with Him and
-
the stories it's like telling a story about your own life. Most people are
-
okay with that, right. We are happy to hear that how God has
-
transformed your life, how you you went through a difficult time and you pray,
-
and how God came true for you, or how God healed you how
-
God helped you through that difficult relationship or that difficult time. Yeah. So
-
most of the time people are okay to hear or happy to hear what God
-
has done. So that's the meaning of being a witness. Now, let's
-
look at some verses in X, right, So the first one is X
-
chapter one, verse eight. Let's read. I'm reading from two translations here.
-
Let's draw out from the Word of God. Are we going with that?
-
Now? In ex Church, of course, we show you the verses
-
on the screen to help all of us, because some of us could be
-
new here and we don't even own our own Bibles. But for the rest
-
of us, we encourage and I echo what passa can I say as well?
-
We encourage you to bring your bibles, your physical bibles to church.
-
And let's turn to the Word of God, and let's read the Word of
-
God together. So in X chapter one, verse eight, it says,
-
you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you
-
shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all JUDAEI and Samira and to
-
the end of the earth. So listen carefully. When Jesus said, you
-
shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be
-
what There's only one thing that you just say, my witnesses to me.
-
That's in the New King James in a New Living Transition. It says,
-
you will see power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will
-
be my witnesses telling people about me everywhere in Jerusalem, to our Judaea,
-
in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. So we receive the
-
power of the Holy Spirit. And here we read before we all know the
-
dynamite power of the Holy Spirit that is given to you and I is for
-
us to be a witness, so that we can testify of the goodness of
-
God to others wherever God has placed us, to our Jerusalem and then the
-
Judaea and the Samaria all right now in X twenty two, verse fifteen,
-
for you are to be his witness, telling everyone what you have seen and
-
heard. Again, so it shows us the meaning of being a witness.
-
A witness is basically telling someone, telling everyone what you have seen and what
-
you have heard. Now, I know, but we didn't see Jesus in
-
person, like yeah, yeah, yeah, but we all know Jesus and
-
you experience Jesus. So that's what we are going to share about. We
-
share about what Jesus has done and how he has changed our hearts and our
-
lives. Amen, extra the ten Versus thirty nine to forty one. And
-
we apostles are witnesses again, witnesses of all he did throughout Judai and in
-
Jerusalem they put him to death by hanging him on across. But God raised
-
him to life on the third day. Then God allowed him to appear not
-
to the general public, but to us, whom God has chosen in advance
-
to be again his witnesses. We are those who ate and drank with him
-
after he rose on the day. So, of course the apostles at that
-
time they had first hand experience in meeting Jesus, touch him, you know,
-
eat with him, talk to him, joke with him, you know
-
whatever. Right, Yeah, And after Jesus was respected, he was found
-
eating again. Jesus not and then called them to eat, and then eat
-
and then again their fellowship, and they broke bread and they ate. So
-
of course the apostles at that time, when they were saying it, they
-
said to be his witnesses, to testify of all that they had seen and
-
heard. Today, you and I are also called the same anointing, the
-
same Holy Spirit has been given to us to be His witnesses. Can I
-
hear an amen for that? A man? Hallelujah? Sorry, okay,
-
I read all that's right. So in the original Bible text written in Greek,
-
okay, the word martyrs use for witness. So actually the word witness
-
in the original Greek means martyrs, and martyrs actually means marth okay, So
-
let's understand further understand the meaning of witness. So the meaning of witness in
-
the original text, it just means mather and that is a pretty strong word,
-
right, so you'll know what's a martyr. So a martha, according
-
to the Oxford Dictionary, okay, is one who is killed or suffers persecution
-
because of his, saw her religious or other beliefs. So generally that's the
-
definition. So someone is called a marthyr when they are killed or they suffered
-
a lot for the sake of what they believe in. So that is the
-
true meaning and the original meaning of the word witness. So to be a
-
witness of a Christ, that is the price that we pay, all right,
-
So being a witness a matter for Christ completely redefines our purpose in life.
-
Remember the first point we started. If our life is a mission,
-
we are on a mission. Church, We are on a mission, and
-
God has given us the great commission right and our life we can live as
-
a witness for Jesus. So our life is not about us. Yes,
-
it's not about So tell yourself, my life is not about me. You're
-
telling your sinful self, your corner self, my life is not about me.
-
It's not about our fame, our feelings and fears. Doesn't that put
-
a little bit of perspective? Sometimes sometimes it does for me. I just
-
need to remember why I exist again, because sometimes we are so caught up
-
right and we get upset asla you upsellah with either husband whi children, and
-
you get caught up in your day today, and sometimes you need to take
-
a moment to just remember what God has called you. Imen, that God
-
has called each and every one of us for the great commission in man.
-
So it defines again, it really defines the purpose in our lives, that
-
it's not about our own fame, our feelings, and our fears. And
-
sometimes we fight so much for our rights, we fight so much for our
-
fame or our face. You know, in the Asian culture, right,
-
the muker very important when the mooker get the face or I don't know what
-
people say about us or what people think about us and want to be right,
-
you know that kind of thing. Okay hah. But it's all about
-
him, and not only it's about him, if you hear the Great Commission,
-
it is about them, the loss that God is waiting for us.
-
Yeah, okay. And it is not just about adding another soul to the
-
number. Okay today we okay, we're five more salvation. Yeah. And
-
that see not just about statistics and you know, for the sake of bragging
-
about it, but it's having a sincere, heartbreaking desire to see people,
-
say, see people coming to the saving knowledge of God, seeing people being
-
free from their fears and their past, and seeing people moving forward to live
-
fulfilling, purpose driven lives in God. Amen a man, hallelujah. Now,
-
as we move on, as I mentioned, I recap again, our
-
live is a mission. Let's all be witnessed for Christ because that's who He
-
has called us to be. But very importantly, let us also remember that
-
witnessing is a natural byproduct of knowing God. All right, It's a natural
-
byproduct of knowing God. I think the Elder King spoke about knowing God.
-
I think two Sundays ago or yeah, just recently okay, and again very
-
good message. If you miss it, you can also hear it last week
-
positive our lead pastor from x UK for those of you who are not around,
-
he spoke here as well. If you miss it, you can also
-
hear our message on our message to go and here here and hear the word
-
of God. Amen. Amen. So when we know God, it will
-
be natural for us to share about God. Because again, you can only
-
be a witness of someone or something that you personally have experienced. So we
-
can only make Jesus known to others when we truly know Him for ourselves,
-
and when we experience more of God in our lives, it becomes more and
-
more natural and automatic right to share about Jesus. Okay, because we have
-
a firsthand and a personal and in depth knowledge of who He is. We
-
are not just talking about someone we heard about, right or now. Okay,
-
you might need to ask yourself that question. Okay, if you can
-
share it in that way that you really know God, probably is time for
-
you to again experience God for your own self. All right, amen,
-
So if we have tasted the goodness of the Lord, is normal for you
-
to share about that news about how good that this Jesus is correct. So
-
it's like recommending a good place to eat. How many you like to recommend
-
places to eat? Yeah yeah, okay, not really for me, but
-
it's okay, Yeah I like hearing it, but I naturally don't do that.
-
Okay, not soul foody, but yes, but yeah, it's like
-
recommending a good place to But I've seen people so passionate about food. I've
-
seen the passion in your face. Okay. So so it's like recommending a
-
good place to eat. So nothing beats having to have eaten in the restaurant.
-
Can you eaten in that restaurant and you can share? Oh, you
-
must order this and you go there? This is this is is right?
-
Okay, this is the best, is the best, It is the best.
-
Oh ah, I can do this a good place to shop ah and
-
find good stuff? Okay, I can, I can. Okay, So
-
nothing beats giving that personal testimony of hey, I tell you this place is
-
the best place to find. This is the antis away Okay, depending on
-
what we're talking about, Okay, whether it's food girl, whether it's choice
-
of clothes Skirl or other grocery Skirl. You know what I mean? Yes,
-
and you are able to convince your other the person you're speaking to you
-
will not regret money if you go to that restaurant ha ha ha, or
-
you go to the shop. Are you you sure no, won't regret?
-
Okay? We can be so good at it people, Why can't we talk
-
about Jesus that way? Come to church? You're sure not regret unless you're
-
not sure? IM not sure? Again? Sometimes so not as you must
-
be sure. So that's where we got to ask ourselves, are we really
-
sure? Do we really know our God? Because if we are sure,
-
right, just Invitela, I don't worry. God will do the rest.
-
Amen. Amen. Okay. So in Psum study four verds. It tastes
-
and see that the Lord is good. Now all of us we have.
-
I hope and I pray that all of us we have tasted and see that
-
the Lord is good. Amen. Now if you have not, like I
-
say again today you are seated here. You have never tasted how good God
-
is? I prayed today you will. So it's like saying to your friend,
-
hey, I tasted the goodness of the Lord, why not you come
-
and taste and see. So the question for all of us is, have
-
we tasted the goodness of the Lord? Do we really know our God?
-
So? Because for those of us who have tasted and know our God,
-
then the question is, like I say, all of us, we have
-
taste the goodness of God. Okay, what is stopping us from sharing or
-
recommending our God to our friends? Okay? Is it? Because ha ha
-
Listenah, so sometimes we taste mo, we go and visit the restaurant and
-
then we don't quite like it? Will you recommend? Unless we're saying that
-
we have tasted God but we didn't quite like it? Oh, okay,
-
we didn't quite like the style. Girl, it comes to a clothing shop,
-
Yeah, I didn't quite like the quality the style whatever, or the
-
food or didn't like the surveys I didn't like. Okay, right, the
-
water, the wayter us. Okay, Unless we're saying that we don't quite
-
like what we have tasted, I believe not all right. If all of
-
us who have truly tasted the goodness of God in our lives, we will
-
be able to share with others the goodness of the Lord. Amen. Amen.
-
So sometimes we just go to us ourselves. Do we really know our
-
God? So now? And these are some things that maybe can help us
-
to reflect and to think about whether or not we truly know our God.
-
I have a slight there when we still believe in him even when we don't
-
see him. So ours ourselves, do we still believe in him when we
-
don't see him? Because if we, if we know the God whom we
-
serve, it may not be that we will see everything that we ask for
-
immediately when we feel we can, when we feel safe, sure and scire,
-
even when God is silent, Because sometimes God can be silent on us
-
all right, when we receive no answer, but we still feel asshured.
-
Do you feel asshured even when God didn't answer? So now, of course
-
I will say most times, God, in his mercy and he's in his
-
grace, he will answer us and he always does immen, He will answer,
-
He will give it to us, he will show us. He will
-
and I know he is able and he will come true for all of us
-
sometimes a matter of time. And maybe it's in the mass that he wants
-
to do it for you. I'm not God, but only God will know,
-
right, Yeah, But sometimes we can't see it. When we are
-
in our situation, we cannot see the end of the tunnel. So when
-
we don't see, we feel God is silent. When we don't see,
-
we feel God is lost. God, you don't know what's going on.
-
I don't think you remember me. You've forgotten me. But can you still
-
feel assured? Do you know your God? Or only you only can recognize
-
his blessings, but you cannot recognize the God who gives you that blessing.
-
Amen. We know our God when we know who he is, his nature,
-
and his character, not just in the blessings and in the answer that
-
he gives to us in Hebrews eleven, verse six. And we almost all
-
of us can even remember this verse. But without faith, it is impossible
-
to please him. For he who comes to God must believe that he is,
-
and that he is a reward of those who diligionists sic him. It
-
didn't say must believe that he will give me the blessing I ask, for
-
He is who he is, and he is a rewarder, regardless of when
-
he gives you the reward, or whether he gives you in a way that
-
you ask for He is who he is, and he is a rewarder of
-
those who diligionist say kime amen. So our focus on our trans must be
-
placed in God's character who he really is, and not not in the outcome
-
of the situation. The Bible says that he is a rewarder. That's right
-
now. In John seventeen three, which I find is very interesting. Here
-
in John seventeen, verse three, Jesus was saying that, right, this
-
is eternal life that they may know you. O. So Jesus was saying
-
that this is eternal life and that day his disciples may know you. God
-
the Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have
-
sent. He's talking to his disciples. So here, if you can see
-
in this verse eternal life, it didn't say that. In the verse right
-
go to Heaven know. It says, what this is eternal life? What
-
is eternal life that they may know you? Turn to your neighbor and say,
-
eternal life is knowing God. Turn to the other neighbor and say,
-
louder, eternal life is knowing God. It's so funny, Okay, Yes,
-
eternal life is knowing God. It's not just about going to heaven,
-
going to heaven. You will go to heaven. Praise the Lord. All
-
right, we will go to heaven. But eternal life is knowing God.
-
Evenal life starts now. Now, it's a total life, eternal life because
-
you know God now here on earth. And yes, you'll go to heaven
-
now. So when you know God, you have eternal life. And when
-
you know God, you not only know what God can do for you.
-
And that's what we always emphasize. God can. God can heal you,
-
God can set you free. God can. But do you know that there
-
are some things that God cannot do. Bless for me, Ah, very
-
good, me, very good? What else? God cannot sing? Because
-
sometimes right if you stop there, God cannot cannot be mind. Nothing is
-
impossible with God. Why so of course God can. Okay, But it's
-
true, Yes, there are things that God cannot do. God cannot lie
-
is the first one. God cannot be unfaithful. The Bible says that God
-
cannot deny himself and he will remain faithful no matter what. And God cannot
-
stop loving you. Now, let's look into the verses of where we can
-
find this. God cannot lie In numbers twenty three verse nineteen. God is
-
not a man that he should lie, nor a son of men that he
-
should repent. Has he said and will he not do? Or has he
-
spoken and will he not make it good? Basically, all the words that
-
is said in the Bible will come to us, whether we believe it or
-
not. Meaning is he like one of us? They say it in they
-
never do one? Sometimes we are like that, right, okay, But
-
what he has spoken, he will surely make it come to us. And
-
that's where God cannot lie. So if he said that he has set you
-
free, you are free. Amen. Amen. And God cannot be unfaithful.
-
The next one, the Bible says that God cannot deny himself. In
-
second Timothy to search up to two vers the Dean, if we are faithless,
-
he remains faithful. So even though sometimes we choose to walk away from
-
him, we choose to say no to him and recited to walk our own
-
way, God cannot deny himself and he will still be faithful to us.
-
Amen. Amen. And again, and he doesn't stop here yet. I
-
drew out tree, but I'm sure there are more, all right, Okay,
-
God cannot stop loving you. Do you believe that I think some of
-
us need to believe that today. Okay, some of us need to believe
-
that today. Let's read in Romans Chapter eight, verse thirty one, all
-
all the way to thirty nine. But I believe that God was speaking to
-
some of us today as well. Okay, do you know your God?
-
And do you know what he can do and what he cannot do? And
-
he cannotop loving you? Let's read verse thirty one. What then shall we
-
say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against
-
us? If he who did not spare his own son, but delivered him
-
up for all of us, how shall he not with him also freely give
-
us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elects? It is
-
God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ to die.
-
And furthermore is also Risen, who is even at the right hand of
-
God and also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love
-
of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, of famine, or
-
nickness, or perial or sword? As it is written, for your sake,
-
we are killed all day long. We are accounted as sheep for the
-
slaughter. Yet in all all these things we are more than conquerors to Him
-
who love us. Amen. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor
-
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
-
not things to come, nor height, not that nor any other created thing
-
shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in
-
Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Amen. Nothing can separate us from the
-
love of God. And may because God is speaking the some of us today,
-
and this is the part of God that you will need to know for
-
yourself. Then, no matter how far you think you have gone away from
-
the Lord, no matter how bad your sin were, you can still return
-
to Him. And God is here with you and he will forgive you.
-
Hallelujah, Amen a man, hallelujah. Now, as we draw to a
-
close again in our church, our five w's, our worship, word,
-
warm, works, and witness again we really understand all five. We will
-
realize that the fifth w witnessing is by far the most important w of all.
-
Why because again, when we do church and we give hospitality to people
-
or new people who come, what is our purpose when we show warm?
-
We show warm in order to reach them, isn't it? Yeah? In
-
all that we do. We are witnessing for the Lord. So it is
-
the most important of all because it is the culmination of our entire purpose here
-
on earth. It brings the focus for the first four WS. Without the
-
fifth W, there's actually no meaning and focus for the first four. We
-
are big on being a warm church because we are big on winning souls.
-
Amen. We are big on worship. We are big on word because we
-
are big on winning souls. And it is the hartbeat of all that we
-
are called to be and to do. Amen. It is it is the
-
great commission given to the Church, which gives meaning to all else that is
-
undertaken in the name of Christ. That's why witnessing is again the most important
-
w Again, it is our heartbeat, and it's what God has called us
-
to do. And if this is the great commission given to the church,
-
we do not want to be a church that is not reaching the laws because
-
we don't want to be lost ourselves. Amen, Amen, hallelujah. And
-
if it's not important to our Lord and Savior, he wouldn't have said it
-
before he or he ascended right. So important it was to him that it
-
was his final commandment to you, and I before leaving the earth. Amen.
-
So from the beginning, X Church was founded through the Holy Spirit to
-
become a live saving movement. And the future of X really depends on how
-
will you and I continue to allow the Holy Spirit to work in and to
-
earth. Amen. And as a church as X and you and I together
-
as the Body of Christ, we must exist together with a mission. And
-
that mission to be is to be a witness for Jesus everywhere and to everyone
-
that He has sent us. So I would like to close to remind us
-
because again I remind myself joy every week, every Sunday, we hear amazing
-
messages, isn't it from the pulpit, and some of us we have the
-
we have the privilege to again real listen from the messages. You know again
-
the message to go and we hear. But in James Chapter one, verse
-
twenty two, and again this is also another verse that we can post on
-
our door posts every day to remind ourselves but be doers of the world and
-
not hear us only deceiving ourselves. Imen. Amen, Let's not just be
-
hearers today church as church, Let's be doer because this message today has an
-
action to it. We know the great commission. But the great commission is
-
not sit and relaxed. Jesus is coming back. The great commission is go
-
and make disciples. Amen. Amen. So let's just be hear Us,
-
but be do us. And without the doing, all our learning is actually
-
worthless. Right. But it's not just worthless sometimes, no, it becomes
-
dangerous, okay. And because God will hold us accountable for what we are
-
hearing and what we do with what we hear. Hallelujah. Amen. Well,
-
God, hopefully this encourage you. Well. God doesn't need anything that
-
you have to reach the laws. He can reach them by himself. But
-
God wants to use anything that you willingly offered to him. Amen. And
-
God once chose us, you and I to partner with Him to reach the
-
laws. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
