  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I'm going to be reading from verses eight to

  3. thirty six. And if you have the physical Bible, you will notice that

  4. these are all the words which are highlighted or colored in what color ray?

  5. And what does that mean Jesus's words? Okay, are you ready to hear

  6. what Jesus wants to say to you this morning? Okay, let's go right,

  7. and just to give you a little bit of context, starting from chapter

  8. twenty one, verse one, it was talking about this woman, right,

  9. a woman who gave her two minds, and Jesus saw that and commended her

  10. for that. And of course then the disciples were asking him about what's gonna

  11. happen next? Right, Jesus's going to happen next? You know, you

  12. see all these buildings as they're all the temple that's there, and then they

  13. are verse seven says and so they ask you, saying, teacher, but

  14. when will these things be and what sign will there be when these things are

  15. about to take place? Okay, let's go from verse eight, and he

  16. said, this is what Jesus said, Take heed that you not be deceived,

  17. for many will come in my name, saying I am he, and

  18. the time has drawn near. Therefore, do not go after them. But

  19. when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified, for these

  20. things must come to pass first. But the end will not come immediately.

  21. And then he said to them, nation will rise against nation, and kingdom

  22. against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines

  23. and pestilences, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

  24. But before all these things, they will lay hands on you and persecute you,

  25. delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before

  26. kings and rulers for my name sick, but it will turn out for you

  27. as an occasion for testimony a man. Therefore, settle it in your hearts

  28. not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer, for I will give you

  29. a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or

  30. resist. Verse sixteen. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers,

  31. relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, and

  32. you will be hated by all for my names sick, but not a hair

  33. of your head shall be lost. Amen, by your patience, possess your

  34. souls. But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its

  35. desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,

  36. Let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not

  37. those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of

  38. vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to

  39. those who weep, who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies

  40. in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath

  41. upon this people, and they will fall by the age of the sword and

  42. be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by gentiles

  43. until the time of the gentiles are fulfilled. And there will be signs in

  44. the sun, in the moon, in the stars, and on the earth,

  45. the stress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring men's

  46. hearts, failing them from fear, and the expectation of those things which are

  47. coming on the earth. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

  48. Are you okay, Let's move on, and then they will see the Sun

  49. of Men coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now, when

  50. these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because

  51. your redemption draws near. Then he spoke to them a parable Look at the

  52. fig tree and all the trees when they are already budding. You see and

  53. know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you

  54. see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Assuredly,

  55. I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away.

  56. To all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away. But my

  57. words will by no means pass away. But take heed to yourselves, lest

  58. your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and cares of this life,

  59. and that they come on you unexpectedly, for it will come as a snare

  60. on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore,

  61. and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things

  62. that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Men.

  63. Amen. May the Lord add to the reading of his word is that the

  64. longest scripture that you read this week? Oh is it good to read God's

  65. word? All right? These are all the words of God, and these

  66. are the predictions that Jesus has taught all of us. Right. And the

  67. very first thing that I want to highlight to you is the very first word

  68. that Jesus said in verse And what is that word? What did Jesus say

  69. is verse eight? Look at your bible? What's the first thing he said?

  70. Take heat? What does it mean? Take heat? Other words?

  71. Other words watch out? Thank you for that. That's excellent, watch out?

  72. What is Jesus giving us a warning for? What are we supposed to

  73. be watching out for? All right? So, this word take heat comes

  74. from the Greek word bleepo. It means to have the oh so small So

  75. sorry, guys, okayla, take my word for it, right, and

  76. you cannot read it and read it out to you. It says bleepo is

  77. to have the power of understanding. Do you understand what's happening in the world

  78. right now? Church? Okay, only one person we will educate the rest,

  79. okay, of what's happening in the world right now, to discern,

  80. mentally, to observe, to perceive, and to turn our thoughts and to

  81. direct the mind to a thing, to consider something, to contemplate something.

  82. Are we thinking church? Are we a thinking church? Sometimes I catch myself

  83. and I catch other Christians who are not thinking. This place between your two

  84. ears is the most unexplored place in the whole earth. Let's not talk about

  85. the sea, right, this part in between your two years, it's your

  86. mind. Because most of the time I find in this generation where we are

  87. so bombardied by information, yes, that we become like gongong you know it's

  88. gongong or not? Uh? You know in Bahasa means like a bit border

  89. border right in English means to your foolish we become just consumers of information.

  90. Yes, So what is social media doing at you? It's bombarding you with

  91. their thoughts, It's bombarding you with their messages, it's bombarding you with their

  92. principles. It's bombarding you with desires that they want to create in you.

  93. Yes, you don't know, ah, aren't we all victims of this?

  94. The moment you take out your phone, you are help captive to what all

  95. the advertisers and what all the big companies want you to do. You know

  96. what they do not They have a team, right, who just sits out

  97. and think about how do I keep people to stay on to have their eyeballs

  98. on the app longer. They have a whole team and they spend baillance and

  99. trillance in marketing just to make sure you would spend all your eyeball time on

  100. the messaging that they want you to have. And so we we just absorb

  101. and consume all this information. And what happens is it begins to form the

  102. basis of how you think about life. It becomes the basis of how you

  103. feelter everything right, Oh, I see my friend has this. I also

  104. want to have I phone, the best android, the best I don't know.

  105. So, without knowing, without being conscious of it, we have been

  106. swept into this whole idea that everything else that they are telling us is important,

  107. is important. Yes, am I the only one who who feels this.

  108. Young people, I'm speaking to you everything that you you see, the

  109. things right. God gave us a mind. Yes, God gave us brains,

  110. and that means he wants you to use it otherwise you will lose it,

  111. okay, And what he wants us to do is to discern, don't

  112. just take in whatever that you watch as truth because we only know one truth.

  113. Yes, where this one? This is the only truth that you need

  114. to have in your mind. But we run to everything else and that forms

  115. our reality and we say, God, where are you? God? You're

  116. not real? What's happening in the world right now? God? Have you

  117. thought about that? God? Why why are you not doing anything to stop

  118. the war? People are dying? You know, God is God's silence on

  119. this. But hey, if you know your Bible and if you know your

  120. God, do you know what he's doing right now? Do you know what

  121. he's doing right now? Don't know what is he doing right now? He

  122. is using everything that's happening in the world to show people that all may know

  123. that this God of the Israel, the God of the Jewish people, is

  124. alive, He is real, and he's about to fulfill his prophecies. Yes,

  125. I don't know how you feel about that. Some of you are like,

  126. huh, my God is like that? Or then I would say,

  127. I think you better go back and study the Word because this is the God

  128. that we serve. See, the thing is right, we have a lot

  129. of deceptions. So I want to give to you this thought. Right,

  130. what is it that you're supposed to be watching and discerning right now. Guys,

  131. it's not We don't have a lot of time. Can I say that

  132. we don't have a lot of time anymore? Right? The signs are showing

  133. us every day we are once day nearer to the coming of the Lord.

  134. Yes, one every day once that we are one day closer to the Lord

  135. Jesus coming back. Are you ready? Are you ready in your spirit?

  136. Are you expecting Jesus to come back? Some of us, right, we're

  137. like, God, I'm only sixteen, I haven't dated yet, I haven't

  138. start working yet, I haven't gone to college yet. Don't come yet,

  139. Jesus. I want to experience all of this first. For those of us

  140. who have experienced a we're like, Jesus, come down, come now.

  141. My back, very pain, my knees every pay. I want you to

  142. come now, Jesus, experience all that readylar. But the young people's like,

  143. no, no yet, no yet, Jesus, don't come back yet.

  144. Right, But it doesn't matter where you are in your life right now,

  145. what stage of life you're at, Jesus is coming back. And so

  146. how do we prepare? How do we prepare our lives so that you remember

  147. in verse in the very last verse, it says, right, watch there

  148. for and pray that you may be count worthy to escape all these things and

  149. to stand before the Son of Man. Are you ready to stand before Jesus

  150. today? If I say, Jesus, you're here right now? Are you

  151. ready to stand before God and account for your life? What have you been

  152. doing the last twenty four hours? What have you been doing the last week?

  153. What have you been doing the last forty years of your life? Are

  154. you ready to stand before God and give and a count of your life?

  155. Right? So, so wake up. If you've never had that sense of

  156. urgency, I say today is the day. Today is the day to wake

  157. up and say God, I'm gonna mean business with you. I'm gonna be

  158. serious about this, because there's no point just doing church here, no point

  159. just come in and out, do a little bit, give a little bit,

  160. you know, and like I'm halfway, I'm not here, I'm not

  161. there. Hey, if you're Forgod, you're one hundred percent for God.

  162. Yes, there is no fifty percent one you know, God says, love

  163. the Lord with all all means. What nineteen nine percent, one hundred percent

  164. do you desire that love God with all your heart, your mind, your

  165. soul, your strength. Oh that's that's that's basically the whole summ right of

  166. the Law of Jesus. But it didn't end there. It was the second

  167. part of it. Leave your neighbor. Yes, don't just be concerned about

  168. yourself, because the big part that equals that, the equation of the sum

  169. is to love God and love others. But we have gotten it. Love

  170. myself and when I got time and when I'm retired, I will love God

  171. and love others. Ooh ouch, I touched a rona. But they God

  172. say, only when you retire, love God with all your heart, your

  173. soul, your strength. Yes, he say that. Ord he say,

  174. Oh, when you're rich and successful, then love God. God's coome Mama

  175. is love God now with your all one hundred percent. Right. So are

  176. we watching? I won't read to you from Matthew twenty six, but it

  177. just says watch this whole word watching. What does it mean to watch?

  178. Remember when Jesus was in the garden of gasamini s right and he was about

  179. to go to the cross, and what he asked his disciples to do to

  180. watch, to watch oni, watch and pray okay, So, since that's

  181. up, let's read the word of God Matthew twenty six, verse thirty seven

  182. to forty one. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of

  183. Zebedee, and he began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then he said

  184. to them, my soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here

  185. and watch, okay, a highlight for you already. Okay, stay here

  186. and watch with me. So he went a little further and fell on his

  187. face and prayed, saying, Oh Father, if this is possible that this

  188. cap passed from me? Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you

  189. will. And he came to disciples and found them a much i'm eerth only

  190. right, are we sleeping here in church this morning? Yes? Thank you

  191. for the honesty. If you find your neighbor sleeping, can you just like,

  192. hey, hello, she's talking about you. And then he came to

  193. his disciples and found them sleeping and said to Peter, what Jesus also got

  194. exclamation mark? Right? What could you not watch with me? One hour?

  195. What's the next verse? Watch and pray? Let you enter into temptation.

  196. The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is Yes, guys, Jesus

  197. already knows that we are weak in our flesh. We have good intentions,

  198. yes, all of us got good intention. God, I will pray God,

  199. I'll read your word. Good intentions, but zero action. Ooh,

  200. you can live your entire life with good intentions. Yes, will you be

  201. going anywhere? No? You would just sit on a lot of good intentions

  202. and just say I hope that one day. I hope one day. Don't

  203. hope, Okay, not that kind of hope. The only hope that we

  204. have is the hope in Jesus. Right, and that's assurance is one hundred

  205. percent sury. Okay. So how do we be watchful? Right? This

  206. would watch? In Greek, there's two terms for it. One is called

  207. grigorio and a group neo. For those of you who are Greek and studying

  208. Greek, it means to stay awake. Hello, anyone sleeping at stay awake,

  209. be sleepless, to be vigilant and on guard, fully alert, aware,

  210. and intently focused. How many of you have been to camping before and

  211. you were supposed to be on the night watch? Anyone? Anyone night watch

  212. night? Do you tea hey? No? None? Of you're going campinger,

  213. No boy, no, no boys, be great rangers here nothing no

  214. one boy scouts last time, last time, last time? No ohllo,

  215. need to bring your camping ler. But do you know that when you are

  216. out in the woods there needs to be someone who's standing right on duty to

  217. keep watch. And don't I'm so bad, don't be all like our guy's

  218. laugh right, yeah, like that. This is the way they stand watch?

  219. Right? Have you seen h can stand watch? My eyes closed?

  220. When? And what it means is to keep your eyes open and to be

  221. so focused? And what are you looking out for? What are you looking

  222. out for when you're on duty, on guard? You're looking up for danger.

  223. You're looking out for any potential threat that's coming your way. Yes,

  224. how are you standing guard over your own life? Are you watching your own

  225. life? Many of us just let our life pass us by. But do

  226. you know that God has called us to be watchmen? Yes? And if

  227. our lives are just gonna go by, we're not even watching it. How

  228. can we be watching over this nation? How can we be watching over this

  229. world? Basically, we've dropped our responsibilities. God has caused us to be

  230. watchmen, and that's an Eazekiel. Right, remember the prophecy that God said

  231. to Ezekiel, you will now be the watchman, and I will give you

  232. the words. These are the warnings to us. Are we watching? Firstly?

  233. Are we watching our own lives? Yes? So I give you five

  234. points in this right. The first one, how do we be watchful?

  235. How can we be watched? With? The very first thing that Jesus said

  236. was and he says, right, take he okay, God says, ready,

  237. take he be watchful. Take it of what so that you will not

  238. be unswer It is in your Bible, to your go to the word.

  239. Take it that you do not be deceived, Watch that you do not be

  240. deceived. Now, what are some of the common ways that us right now

  241. we are being deceived? Be wary? Be wary? The first w for

  242. you, if you're taking notes, is to be wary of deception. What

  243. are some of the things that you think we are falling under? Deception?

  244. False lies? False issue? Yes, anyone? No, give me answers?

  245. How have we fallen under the deceptions of all the lies of certain anyone?

  246. Social media? Yeah, social media? I mentioned that, thank you,

  247. yes, social media. What other thoughts about God that you think that

  248. we carry in our minds, but we always think that you know, I

  249. will have that mindset and perception, but I don't even know whether it's a

  250. lie or not. Can you think of something? Can you think of something

  251. a lie that you have believed? God is only good to those people who

  252. give a lot of money? No, God is only good to those who

  253. like just now you know. Thank you Ada for sharing that powerful testimony,

  254. because our God is a lively man. Did you catch something of what was

  255. different about her that caused that breakthrough for her? What was it? What

  256. was it? Pray? Pray? How many of you believe in the power

  257. prayer? Can I see a show of hands? How many of you?

  258. Okay, thank you? How many of you actually pray? Pray? Thank

  259. you? So we can say we believe in the power prayer. But every

  260. time a trouble comes, a crisis hits. When you read news that you

  261. don't understand, who's the first one? What do you turn to first?

  262. Or who do you turn to first? Are you turning to God right away?

  263. Immediately? Think about it. Think about your own personal response when something

  264. happens. What is your first response? I pray that your first response will

  265. be to drop everything, Get on your knees and ask God, yes,

  266. because you see, this is how we are standing guard. This is how

  267. we are watching over our lives because the enemy continuously tries to deceive you.

  268. Yes, he throws in all these challenges, and you go, oh,

  269. I feel overwhelmed. Hey, hello, you have a God, a Christ

  270. who has conquered the grave. If you've forgotten, yes, do you think

  271. that he cannot help you overcome even the most humanly impossible thing to do?

  272. Do you think God cannot? That is the lie? Can you catch it

  273. ready or not? That is the very lie that says Heaven doesn't rule over

  274. your life, doesn't rule over a impossible situation like getting you to be graduated

  275. without paying for your fees? True or not? Think about your own life?

  276. What area do you think God cannot touch? You think it's impossible?

  277. Anything, cancer? Impossible? What is it? What is it that you

  278. feel that God? Lord you, I think you cannot lie? We might

  279. not say it right, blessphemious, I cannot say, but we think it

  280. act We behave as though God cannot. And therefore we go around like oh,

  281. wor worried, scared, scared, you know, right, angry at

  282. other people holding bitterness? Do you think that God cannot release forgiveness over the

  283. most painful hurt in your life? You think God cannot? That's a lilah

  284. that you've believed in. That is a deception, That is a very deception

  285. that you have fallen under because you do not believe that Heaven rules. And

  286. if you do not believe that Heaven rules over every single detailed, minute or

  287. big over your life, then what's the point of praying? Right? God?

  288. You never answer my prayer? Ana, why pray right? It's only

  289. when you have prayed and you have tasted and seen that God is good?

  290. Can I tell you something? Can I tell you a secret? Please?

  291. Thank you? You want to know the secret? Right that, even Eve,

  292. that situation had not turned around for Ada? Do you think God has

  293. not been faithful to her? Answer honestly, answer honestly that you only will

  294. profess and thank God and believe that He's good and faithful only if He answers

  295. your prayers. That's a lie again that we have believed that God. If

  296. you didn't come true for me, You're not good, You're not faithful.

  297. Where are you God? You're silent? Is there another lie? And many

  298. of us fall under that deception because God is the goodness of God. The

  299. faithfulness of God is not contingent on what He does, on how your circumstances

  300. play out, right, because many of us depend and put our faith based

  301. on what happens around us. So it's almost very bishy washy, right it

  302. circumstances changes, then Oh God, where are you right now? But we

  303. have not anchored our faith on the character of God. The character of God

  304. because even as he shuts this door, I believe that there is a better

  305. plan for you. And so what do we do? Right? So what

  306. do we do? So let's cut I hope I won't be able to cover

  307. all the deceptions that we are. But can you catch yourself thinking about things

  308. like that? Can can you go now begin thinking? Hey? Why am

  309. I thinking about God? Do I still trust in Him? Do I believe

  310. we sang that song? Right? You can sing all the song that you

  311. want, But if you don't believe it, then you're paying lip service.

  312. Don't pay lift service like guys waste your time? Why why would you do

  313. that? Right? If you believe it, then you believe in God?

  314. You say, God, I cannot see help my unbelief like the Father.

  315. Right, if you do not believe that God will come true for you,

  316. then you come to God and say, God, I do not believe.

  317. Right now, help me overcome my unbelief. You are still coming to him

  318. and that's the most important thing. So just to be very very very very

  319. careful of how we are thinking, guys, we really need to watch the

  320. way we think our deception. We Oh, my gosh, I tell you,

  321. the devil is very clever. Okay, you think you're smart. The

  322. devil is smarter, and we'll up with you. But praise me unto God.

  323. We have Jesus, Yes, who overcame the devil. Amen, Can

  324. we give praise and to God? Jesus has overcome the devils in your life?

  325. And so don't fall under the deception. Oh, I'm like that,

  326. you know I cannot. It is my habit, it's my genetics, is

  327. my family issues. Ah, don't care. Jesus has redeemed all of you.

  328. He has redeemed your family history, he has redeemed your genetics. Okay,

  329. do you believe that? Oh, Unbelief is the biggest deception, guys.

  330. Unbelieve is the biggest deception in your lives. So we have to cast

  331. that out. Okay, any unbelief that you have right now, just say,

  332. God, I repent of this unbelief, and I choose to believe.

  333. I choose to believe. Amen. The second thing in watching is firstly to

  334. be wary of this deception that the devil continues to temper us with. Okay,

  335. so just be careful. Also what you watch, literally, all your

  336. social media stuff, what are you spending your time on. You're uploading into

  337. your brains everything that the world is saying. Of course, you will have

  338. no room for what God has to say. Right. Although God is the

  339. most powerful, you don't make room for him. There is no room there

  340. for him, all right. The second one is to do is this,

  341. do not be afraid? Yes, are you afraid? Hey? Christians,

  342. are you afraid? What are you afraid of? Do not be terrified?

  343. Jesus says everything that you see in this world for young people. Here,

  344. you're looking at wars. You know we've never gone through wars. Have you

  345. lived through wars? You hear your grandmother's story right, or you know back

  346. in those Japanese occupation days, they live through water, they live through famine,

  347. they live through eating one meal a day with just rice, and tell

  348. you rice and salt, rice and so your sauce. That's it. You

  349. get one sweet potato, you finish it. You don't say I don't like

  350. sweet potato. You eat it because you're starving these days now, we are

  351. so privileged, right, and we waste food. Hey, guys, come

  352. on, if you're eating too much, but let repent. Please, I

  353. still have to say to myself all these things we take for granted. Yeah,

  354. food on our table. Do you know that having tree square meals a

  355. day? You are so blessed, so blessed, And you say, God,

  356. how come you know bless me? The very fact that you can all

  357. come here, beautifully dressed, fully clothed, coming from your beautiful, comfortable

  358. homes. You are so blessed, you know. And we look at all

  359. the things in our lines and we complain, don't have this, don't have

  360. that? Come on, guys, did you live in such a place that

  361. you are overflowing with gratitude to God every day? God, You're so good.

  362. God, You're so good. And when you can begin to practice this

  363. every day, remembering what God has done for you, and even if you're

  364. in the worst circumstances. Right, Remember your salvation, Guys that want nothing,

  365. Nothing in this world can ever compare to that salvation that you have.

  366. How precious is your salvation to you? Many of us take it for granted.

  367. No, Like, yeah, I grew up in a Christian family.

  368. My bad. My dad was a pastor, my grandmother was pastor. You

  369. know, I grew up in church. All this time suddenly got text and

  370. weird. But we take our salvation for granted, and we're not happy about

  371. this. We're not happy about that. Two weeks ago, I was caught

  372. on to minister to a lady. So what happens is ex Church partners with

  373. Sunway Medical Center, you know, Somewhay Medical Center in Subang, right,

  374. and to provide chaplaincy services. And what that means is usually those people who

  375. are at their late stage of life in palliative care. Uh, and they

  376. say, I want someone to come and pray with us, right, and

  377. so when we can, we will come and minister. So I think just

  378. even a couple of months back, Passissandra and doctor Ji managed to minister to

  379. someone a French lady. I'm not sure whether you heard the story, but

  380. long story shot is this lady. It was in the last stage of life.

  381. She only had a couple of weeks left, and she says, I

  382. want to know God. I want to know a French lady, I want

  383. to know God. In her broken English, She's like, in you know,

  384. in all my all my years, I've loved at my friends who believed

  385. in God. They say, what is your belief going to do for you?

  386. But in her last stage, she came to a realization that I want

  387. to come to God. How can you tell me? How can I come

  388. to God? And so of course passes Andra and doctor You ministered to her

  389. and says, you know, God loves you so much that he sent us

  390. here as his missionary good News, to bring the good news to you.

  391. That God is just a prayer away. He is your believing in him.

  392. Would you believe in him? And she did. She accept the Lord.

  393. Praise God, Amen, She praised. She accepted the Lord. And one

  394. week later, doctor Jill and Passandra attended her funeral. It was a Christian

  395. funeral because her family respected her wishes. And two weeks ago I went to

  396. minister to another lady. Now she's only fifty two years old, a Chinese

  397. lady. She is engaged to be married. She was engaged to be married.

  398. She's traveled the world, you know, she's seen She's always going around

  399. places. And when she fell sick in July this year, she had terminal

  400. cancer. She came back to Malaysia to sick treatment, and I think a

  401. couple of months later she gave her life to Christ. She gave her life

  402. to Christ. And so then that's why she has. When we went there,

  403. we met two of her sisters there who were not believe us, right,

  404. But she was just lying there in bed, and I think when I

  405. stepped into that room, I just had such a heavy heart. I don't

  406. know whether you've seen cancer patience. They are in bed and she's lost so

  407. much where I could see her bone sticking out, you know. Ah,

  408. And when she was trying to talk, she could barely breathe. She winces

  409. in pain and she breathes out thank you for coming. Do you know in

  410. that in that moment, when you're seeing almost like a life and death situation,

  411. you you begin to think about, actually, what's what's life all about?

  412. What is life all about? You think about it because one day we

  413. will all die. If you don't know yet, can I tell you that

  414. that is a reality. Why must there be death and pain and sickness in

  415. this world because of sin? Because of sin? Go back and read Genesis.

  416. The world that we live in is messed up, guys? Why because

  417. of sin and the sin that is still present here today? There is evil?

  418. Do you know everything that's happening in the middle is it's evil? It's

  419. evil. I will say, it's evil. And God is not pleased with

  420. it. Do you know that his heart breaks more than anyone else's over what's

  421. happening there? Our lives lost. And so with this lady we prayed.

  422. But because she had peace, right, she has found Jesus. And she

  423. said, can you pray for me? And we say, what can we

  424. specifically pray for you? She said? She said, can I live longer?

  425. I just got engaged. I want to spend more time with my family.

  426. I want to do God's work. I want to tell them about Jesus.

  427. And we pray for her. I think about a week later she passed

  428. on. She just gone home to be with the Lord. But do you

  429. know that her countenance was different because she knew of this faith in God.

  430. She knew who she is. Right, so I pray that we never take

  431. our faith for granted. Church. You know, we always lose sight of

  432. the main thing and we become petty argumentative over the smallest things, you know.

  433. And at this point of my life, I'm like, it's okay.

  434. Anything that happens are it's gonna be okay. What is gonna be the most

  435. important thing is that we hold on to our faith and hold on to the

  436. end and bring others with us to faith. Do you know it's not good

  437. enough that you just feel, oh, okay. As long as I'm saved,

  438. that's all God, Thank you Jesus. As long as I'm saved,

  439. my family is saved, that's enough God, That's all right. No,

  440. God is saying the reason why we are alive today and have breath is because

  441. He's wanting to use each one of you as a mouthpiece to share this gospel

  442. to the so many who perishes every day every day. Look out around you,

  443. guys. The moment you step up from this church, you will meet

  444. the masses who are lost. What are you going to do about it?

  445. Are you going to be apathetic? Like, oh, it's their problem.

  446. Lah, As long as I'm safe, that's all that matters. Are we

  447. guilty of it? I am guilty of that. It's so easy to just

  448. live your own life, you know, ask God for all the things that

  449. you need in your life, and don't give a hoot about your neighbors,

  450. about your society, about the world that we live in. I don't know

  451. where you are. I don't know what God is saying to you. But

  452. can you do something? Church? Can you do something? You can?

  453. But will you see? That's the thing, right? We can? We

  454. can't do things we know we can. We can give a word of encouragement

  455. to someone. We can text someone and say right now, hey, I'm

  456. thinking about you. How can I pray for you? We can, all

  457. of us can write. Is it a very hard thing that asking you to

  458. do? No? But will you do it? You can? But will

  459. you do it? Because otherwise it's all about us. Our life is consumed

  460. with us, me myself and I me me me me me, Mine's miney's

  461. miney's mine's. Why don't you try this practice or this habit that when you're

  462. praying for one of your needs, can you pray for someone else's need?

  463. Can or not? Attach it together? More powerful? Right? Your prayer?

  464. Pray not just for yourself. Can you ask God to say, God,

  465. can I begin to look out and see how can I love my neighbor?

  466. How can I reach out to something that is what we are all about

  467. church, that all may know that Christ is Lord. Amen? Amen,

  468. I'm gonna run truth quickly because I want to the full breath of what watching

  469. is. So. First one is to be wary of the deception that we

  470. carry in our minds. Second one is to not be afraid. Do you

  471. know the God that you serve or not? Amen? If you're not sure,

  472. come and talk to me. We'll go through a Bible and I'll tell

  473. you this God that we serve. We shouldn't be afraid. Guys, you

  474. should have confidence in our God. You should have confidence. The third one

  475. is this you can expect testings. Yes, yes, you're seeing it right

  476. now. I know all of you are familiar with this. My life full

  477. of first thing ready lah, So don't be surprised, la Jesus already say

  478. God testing ready? Right? But what's amazing? He says that this verse,

  479. I'm sure you've never read it before, in verse thirteen. If anything,

  480. for you, read verse for thirteen. But it will turn out for

  481. you as an occasion for money. Aida. Whatever trials and testing, you

  482. know, challenges that you've had, it will turn into an occasion for testimony.

  483. It's just timing, right, It's all about timing because it says,

  484. by your patience, possess your souls. I want to release this with to

  485. someone because I feel that some of you might need it. Right. Can

  486. you look at verse nineteen, by your patience possess your souls? And what

  487. does that actually mean? You know, sometimes we say we are being patient,

  488. right, patient means why sit down and do nothing? Patience means what

  489. let other people step all over you? A lot of us don't like this

  490. with patience right, because we think it's all about letting people step over us.

  491. It's about you know, you know, being being meek and gentle and

  492. just hold onto your anger. But the meaning of patience is state fastness.

  493. Is this work called hupo money. It means a constancy and endurance, endurance.

  494. I know some of my homies kids just went for a Spartan challenge.

  495. Right. You need endurance to finish the line? Right? Our thing this

  496. year is what towards the Yeah, what do you need to finish? You

  497. need endurance, You need to hang on all the way. That's what patients

  498. mean. And it also means that you are anchored, you know, being

  499. steadfast. You know the words steadfast. Yes, you are holding fast to

  500. something, and in our case, we are holding fast to Jesus. What

  501. are you fasting yourself on? Your skills, your abilities, your charisma,

  502. your network or your net worth? What are you onto? We are to

  503. be steadfast on Jesus and Jesus alone. Amen. Amen. Then the fourth

  504. point is this to comprehend the signs. That means, guys, start reading

  505. the Bible alongside with what you're reading the news. Okay, The Bible should

  506. be the lens in which you see everything in your life. Can I say

  507. that again? The Bible should be the lens and perspective of which you see

  508. everything that's happening in your life and in this world. If you don't have

  509. a biblical perspective, you will lose heart, You will be discouraged, you

  510. will be afraid. Right now, what should we just run through a compound

  511. by lend and you know, live there because the world's coming to an end?

  512. No? Is that what we're supposed to do. You don't have a

  513. biblical perspective of life. And therefore you're afraid, you're discouraged, you lost

  514. hope. But our hope is in revelations. Yes, because Jesus is gonna

  515. overcome everything. And finally, finally, the last one for you is this

  516. h is to have a heart check. And this is taken from verse thirty

  517. six. He says, watch there for and pray always that you may be

  518. countered worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand.

  519. And in verse thirty four it says this right, but take heed to

  520. yourselves. Less your hearts be weighed down with carusing drunkenness and cares of this

  521. life, and that they come on you unexpectedly. Guys, if there's a

  522. lot of cares of this life that is weighing on you, then we need

  523. to do a heart check. Yes, let's keep our hearts light. If

  524. there is unforgiveness, if there's anger, if there's compromise, if there is

  525. complaining and grumbling, can you let that go? All these things are weighing

  526. you down, let those go. And that's how we watch over our lives.

  527. Amen. It's not just good enough to watch, but we're supposed to

  528. watch n watch, n watch, an watch and pray. There's this quote

  529. that I like. It says watching helps your praying, and praying helps your

  530. watching. Yes, watching helps our praying and praying helps our watching. Amen.

  531. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our
