You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message
-
will light up your tea. I just want to share this word with you.
-
And I have a question starting with a question, and here we go.
-
All right, okay, question? Do you think God hears? Can
-
he hear? Does he have yours? Yes? Only Elder Rose believes God
-
can hear? Anybody else? Yes? Amen? Praise God, give me
-
say amen that he here? So my question is does God here? Does
-
God here? Amen? So? What does God here? WHOA? What
-
does he hear? All right? I want to encourage you. I want
-
to encourage you this morning. God heres, But I want to give you
-
the keys so that you can unlock that which if it's locked for you,
-
you're gonna unlock it because you want to know that God hears. I think
-
he has ears as being like the elephant, because he can hear all of
-
us. He made the universe. Oh, he made the earth, and
-
yet he cares about you, hey, eleen. He knows your name,
-
and he knows where you're working. Oh he knows your address, and man,
-
God knows, why would he be mindful of you and me? Were
-
so tiny? You know, the earth is so small in the whole universe.
-
But God knows your name because he hears you. And I want to
-
tell you who does he hear? What does he hear? So that if
-
we wan sure, I want you to be very sure today, Amen.
-
And so what does God hear? So very quickly I'm gonna bring you through
-
some thoughts for you. He hears the cry of the righteous. All right?
-
How many righteous are in the house this morning? WHOA all right?
-
The moment you receive Jesus, you have been made righteous. When you have
-
faith in Jesus, you have been made righteous. He clothes you with his
-
robe of righteousness. That's why it's never about us. We can come to
-
the Lord even if you're messed out. Live in my feel I just let
-
God down today. I wanll to say to you, come to him and
-
he will come to you. Come to the throne room of grace. And
-
he is the one who forgives us. He is the one who gives us,
-
you know, a new life. Amen. And I will to say
-
that he hears the crib the writeous some thirty four p. Thirty four,
-
Verse fifteen and seventeen. So we're going to just look at the scripture.
-
You can turn to your bible. Does anybody bring a bible anymore? All
-
right, bring your Bible, whether it's an e Bible or a print bible,
-
bring your Bible. And you know, if you're not carrying your Bible
-
to your office, which you should, and then then that's a become a
-
talking point. What is that on your table? Bible? What's the Bible?
-
You can tell her, Oh, it's God's love letter. But you
-
know, whatever it is. Turned to your bibles if you have, and
-
I've got the verse there some thirty four verse fifteen seventeen XDV. Thank you
-
also for helping. But you can also write the notes down. You know,
-
last time when I when I was young and used to go to church,
-
we used to take notes a lot. I have loads of notes book
-
notebooks because I would take notes down. So now you got your hindphone,
-
can take type notes in and some take notes. So take notes is good?
-
Short pencil yeah, yeah. Do you don't have a long memory,
-
yeah, it's good. It's better. It's better to take the notes down,
-
yeah, so that you can remember. And that's how we grow,
-
amen and learn and remind ourselves. Because the holies we were bringing to remembrance
-
all things that you are learning today. So what does God hear? I
-
wanna tell you the cry of the righteous Some thirty four, verse fifteen.
-
Some thirty four and verse fifteen says, the eyes of the Lord are on
-
the righteous. Once again, the eyes are of the Lord are on the
-
and his ears are open to there. I think you do better than that.
-
The eyes of the Lord are on the oh, Amen, and the
-
ears and his ears are open to the verse seventeen, the righteous cry out,
-
and the Lord, oh, and the Lord and delivers them out of
-
all that. Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Are you in trouble? Okay?
-
No, why should you be in trouble? But sometimes we are in
-
trouble. I get in trouble all the time. Yeah, because I'm so
-
loud. Okay, all right. So when the righteous cry out, the
-
Lord hears the operative word here is amen, and he delivers them out of
-
all their troubles. I love the verse here because he's that affirmation that when
-
the righteous cry out, he hears. And that and then the first verse
-
in fifteen, he says, the eyes of the Lord on the righteous means
-
God can not only see, he can here Amen. Remember the Lord hears
-
you, all right. He hears the cry of the righteous, and if
-
you are the righteous of the Lord, he hears you, amen, and
-
he delivers us from a all our troubles. I just have to encourage you
-
that it's true he will. During the time of pandemic, I mean,
-
just went through a very very difficult time, went through a time where yeah,
-
someone was really really upset with me for whatever reason and just blasted me
-
with many, many words that was very, very hurting. And I was
-
keep asking, Holy Spirit, what do I say? The Holy Spirit is
-
nothing. Didn't give me anything, so I couldn't say anything. I just
-
quiet, not gonna maa, not gonna maraa. And then and every day
-
there will be just terrible words cast at me. And you know, I
-
cried out to the Lord. As a child of God, I cried out,
-
and this was another child of God who was calling me. But I
-
cried out to the Lord and just say, Lord, I don't know what
-
to do, Please help me, you know. And and later I felt
-
it was just an onslaught of the enemy, just the spiritual world warfare coming
-
against me, coming against my husband and me. And I said, no,
-
I'm gonna take authority in Jesus' name, I'm gonna cry out as a
-
righteous lord if I'm wrong, and where I was wrong, I apologize.
-
I didn't just say sorry, I said please forgive me for things I think
-
I didn't do or did. I just ask, And I cried out to
-
the Lord. I tell you, God delivers us from our trouble. If
-
ever you're in trouble, any trouble, you cry out to the Lord.
-
All right, where you're in trouble with the police because you took the wrong
-
turn, okay, oh whatever, you cry out to the Lord. A
-
man, you do what you did to do what is right. But sometimes
-
you feel helpless. Cry out to the Lord. He hears the cry of
-
the righteous. Encouragement number one. You are the righteous of the Lord.
-
Cry out to the Lord. Stop crying out to your boyfriend. He's just
-
a man, he has no special powers. You can cry out to your
-
friend, your Tan's three friend. No, can't do much more. You
-
cry out. You just cry out to the Lord first. Then you go
-
and tell your friend. But cry out to the Lord. I tell you,
-
he really really is the one who delivers us from our troubles. Amen,
-
you know you are the righteous. Come on, tell your neighbor you
-
are the righteous of the Lord. Yeah, tell you other neighbor, you
-
are the righteous of the Lord. Amen. Yes. When you say yes
-
to Jesus and to come into your life, he makes you righteous because sin
-
separates us from God, who can save us from our sins. Only Jesus,
-
Only Jesus. He went to the cross, went to the grave.
-
The grave couldn't even take him because he was just sinless. And up from
-
the grave, Heroes, he's the resurrected King, the resurrected Lord. That's
-
why we have the opportunity, we have the right of way to live righteous
-
before the Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen, I ain't gonna let you
-
go. Amen, jeordge god on, Uncle Ben, give me a big
-
amen. Amen, Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. Okay, number two,
-
what's the next? Encouraged not only the crowd the righteous, but those who
-
fear the Lord. He hears your prayer. Oh, fear the Lord.
-
Now fear the Lord doesn't mean like, okay, not that kind of fear,
-
but the honor, honor the Lord. Honor the Lord. Do the
-
right thing. Those who do the right thing. He hears your prayer.
-
Some one four five and verse nineteen, Some one four five and verse nineteen,
-
and it says here he will fulfill the desire of those who fear him.
-
He will fulfill the desire those who fear him. He will He also
-
will hear their cry and save them. Our friends, come on, just
-
be honest if you reflect today, what do you need help from God?
-
What is it that you are going through? It could be your work,
-
It could be a discipline issue, it could be a habitual problem. What
-
is it? He says here the fear of the Lord, those who fear
-
the Lord? Do you fear the Lord? Meaning you honor the Lord?
-
You want to do the right thing? He will hear your cry and save
-
you. Ah leluyah. He will fulfill the desires of those who fear him.
-
Are we doing the right thing? Are we wanting to do right before
-
the Lord? Do we have an honor for God? Not scared of God?
-
Not that kind of fear? Honor the Lord. When you honor the
-
Lord, he hears your cry because you're his child. Amen. So I
-
want to encourage your friends. Where does it all begain fear the Lord.
-
Fear the Lord means to honor the Lord, to do the right thing.
-
Come on, guys, and I think a lot of us know how to
-
do the right thing. That's whether we want to do the right thing.
-
That's another thing, a lot of things. Okay, let's do the right
-
thing, because I want to encourage us. That who hears the Lord,
-
who hears, he hears the righteous. He hears those who fear the Lord.
-
Thirdly, he also hears those who call upon him in truth. Amen,
-
in truth and just transparency and truth, in honesty. The Lord hears
-
those who call upon him in truth. It's just some one for five and
-
verse eighteen. The verse above, he says, the Lord is near to
-
all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in true he
-
is near. Amen, Halla tell you all the name. But he is
-
near to you. He is near to you. He's in your face right
-
now. You are seated here. You think no one's looking at you except
-
me. But the Lord is before you. He is omnipresent. He is
-
present everywhere, and he hears you when you worship him, And he loves
-
you when you worship him, and he's looking at you, and say,
-
give me more. I love you, And you can say I think very
-
badly. No, it's okay, you can sing. Amen. Yeah,
-
we don't like your voice, but God, you can sing out of tune.
-
But He's in your face. That's what worship means. God is in
-
our face, waiting for your praises, waiting for your praises. And God
-
is the one who hears those who call upon him in truth. Amen.
-
And truth just means telling the truth. And you know. In John chapter
-
four, verse twenty two, twenty three says what kind of worshippers is God
-
looking for? He's looking for worshippers worship him in spirit and in truth.
-
There is truth there again, So there is a transparency before the Lord,
-
honest before the Lord. When you come and seek the Lord. No.
-
Daily, when you pray and you really have an issue with someone, you
-
just tell it Lord, I have jealousy problem. I are jealous of John.
-
He can make kombucha. I cahn't why loa all right? You tell
-
it as it is. Rather, I'm bitter because I feel this exemple my
-
best friend she did very well. Tell her because you're bitter, right,
-
you behave funny with your friend. Run Yeah, just that you cover up,
-
and covering up is not part of God's way. He doesn't want us
-
to cover up. He covers us sin by washing us with his blood.
-
But we are not to cover our sin by our own white ways, but
-
open before the Lord. And I've learned this the hard way. I lied
-
to my mom, not yesterday, but some time ago. And you know,
-
I I I was was, I was from six I think it was
-
eighteen or nineteen. And then and then and then my boyfriend asked me go
-
out and watch movies. When watch movie? And then I told my friend
-
and with my best friend and then my MoMA, I think his mom and
-
stingler. Okay, teenagers do not lie to your mom. They know the
-
Lord speaks to them. I don't know why, but they the Lord speaks
-
to them. And and and and I came home then said so, where
-
were you? I was the library And then the face cannot and then,
-
uh, nope, you weren't in the library. And she said, I
-
called so and so my best friend, and she told me you went out
-
with so and so. Whoa all hell broke loose? Yeah, yeah,
-
yeah yeah. I never lied again, never lied again ever, because the
-
face cannot lie. And then and then mother wouldn't forgive me because I lied
-
to her and the brother was in the same church with us as well.
-
So just hated the guys, cass. She hated every boy that dates me,
-
like you didn't like my husband to be o sola like just because they
-
dated me. You know, I don't know. May Mom didn't want me
-
to marry forever and U. So I'm telling you she was so mad with
-
me. I never could lie again. And you know, I went to
-
the Lord, and the Lord spoke to me from some fifty one. He
-
says, you sin, Yes, I sin, lot, I sin.
-
And then he said, no, you sin not only against your mom,
-
but you sin against me. You were not truthful, not to Mom but
-
to me. Whoa was hard. I was a young Christian. But the
-
Lord spoke that worked to me as us reading and then and then the Lord
-
taught me step by step to seek his forgiveness and to come back to the
-
lot. And then God restored me. Mom took a long time to forgive
-
me. I did go and say finally, you know, I see the
-
Lord and said Mom, sorry. She didn't answer me. You know,
-
she didn't talk to me for over a long time. Yeah, now she's
-
talking to me because I'm grandma Agent, She's great grandmother aged, so she
-
has to talk to me. All right, So I got you. Just
-
call on the lot in truth. Don't hide from the Lord. Okay,
-
nobody knows what you did last summer, but God knows. All right,
-
all right, listen, nobody knows. But if you're gonna come to Jesus,
-
I tell you he received you as you are. But you just be
-
honest, you just I'm sorry I I did this. M Nobody knows,
-
but God does. So if you are as a child of God, feel
-
like so er. But you come and you tell God honestly, he immediately
-
forgives. That is the mercy of God, that is the kindness of this
-
God. And Jesus, I am so grateful for forgiveness because you might not
-
forgive me. You might not forgive me. And King David knew that.
-
That's why he never he could. He said, And God said, how
-
am I gonna judge you? Now? I give you one? Two three?
-
He answered, neh bh, No, lod you deal with me.
-
I don't want the kings and the people to deal with me, because when
-
you deal with me, God, you are very merciful. And God truly
-
was merciful. I'll tell you, God will be the first one to forgive
-
you. Mom might not forgive you, friend, might not forgive you.
-
Your nation, might not forgive you. But God forgives you first. Yes,
-
Amen, thank God for that. Even if we murdered someone, you
-
go to jail. Even in jail. How many times my father has been
-
to the prison, not because he was the one who caused the death.
-
He went to minister the people, and he tells me how many times people
-
who have done so much, but they come to receive Christ. He says,
-
God forgives them. The law will not forgive us the consequences, but
-
they know the eternity that that's forgiven him. To repent law, Then what
-
to do consequences have There are consequences from your actions, so you have to
-
deal with the law. But the Lord is the one who hears the cry
-
of those who call upon him. In truth, the Lord hears, I
-
just want you to know and have these keys so that you will always turn
-
to Jesus no matter what happens. He hears you people, men will not
-
forget you. See how we never forget David. Right, he said,
-
every time you say King David, Goliath and Bathsheba, Goliave and Basheba what
-
the baf men right, So we will not forget people see right. So
-
there's human nature in our sin nature and our fallen nature. We will always
-
think of the worst thing, right instead of thinking of the best thing of
-
the person, and that is our flesh sight. But if we walk in
-
the spirit, then we think of we tried to remember what God did?
-
This did this? This person has transformed the life. God has transformed.
-
So call upon him in truth. Friends, if you're going to call upon
-
the lot, call upon him in truth. So many times when I suppose
-
something's happened to me and I say, I was very bad. First thing
-
I do? I have to search myself? I say, God, have
-
I seen again? Am I hiding something in my heart? Is it?
-
Is it jealousy? Is it insecurity? Is it? You know? What's
-
evil that I'm going through? This? Our repent first? Uh? It
-
is lot. I want to repent first. I want to come before God
-
in truth, not covering up my own sin, because I can't. Only
-
the blood of Jesus can. So, friends, be encouraged. Number four
-
and five coming up for Mark seven, Mark chapter seven, verse twenty six
-
thirty Mark chapter seven, verse twenty six and thirty. Now, this is
-
a story you've probably heard many times. This is about the syrioh Phonician woman,
-
this Greek woman, and she Jesus actually came into this region. He
-
entered a house. Okay, this is Mark chapter seventh, verse twenty six,
-
but verse twenty four to twenty five says that Jesus entered the town.
-
He entered, you know, trying to take a breaker. When you minister
-
for a long, long, long, long days, sometimes you just need
-
a break. But somebody was watching him. It was a Syrophenician woman who
-
had a problem, who had a challenge. Her daughter was being really just
-
with an unfilled with an unclean spirit, disturbed by an unclean spirit, and
-
not maybe who knows whether the daughter was manifesting. Maybe the daughter couldn't sleep,
-
maybe the daughter couldn't eat, was having different problems. And this mom,
-
no, I won't speak to the moms here, and the moms will
-
understand you. This mom was desperate. She needed to see a breakthrough for
-
a child. And I tell you, any mom in this room you will
-
understan Then this mom's heart, she fell at the feet of Jesus. She
-
hid it. He's like hit it, probably to rest, and she like
-
falling to his feet and said, Lord Lord. In verse twenty six,
-
the woman she kept begging him to cast out the demon from her daughter,
-
the unclean spirit. You know what Pastor Jesus said, you might have gotten
-
angry and changed church. Okay, listen what he said. Verse twenty seven.
-
He said, let the children be filled first, for it is not
-
good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs. Okay,
-
children in his context was the Jews. She was not a Jew,
-
she was a Greek. She was a gentile. So he said, hey,
-
I'm here to feed the Jews. So he's just putting out a challenge.
-
Word. You just say, hey, you're asking me, but you
-
don't even believe in me in that sense, you don't follow the faith.
-
So he says, so I came to feed the children, and uh,
-
and then and then and then, and he says, it is not good
-
that I take the children's bread and give it to the little dogs. Now,
-
any of you, if you've ever studied Shakespeare, you're a literature student
-
in Shakespeare. When you do the Merchant of Venice, the Jewish guy,
-
the money lender Shylock, he tells them you are dogs. When I first
-
read it, I'm like rude man, I had no idea about the Jewish
-
culture. But then I studied it and said that most Jews think they are
-
the upper class, and then everybody else are dogs. This is cultural thing.
-
Okay, don't get angry, don't get angry. But massa Jesus was
-
just telling this. This is a mom, and any mom here will know
-
when you're a child is sick, when your child needs the doctor, when
-
your child needs to be admitted, you will. Or if your child is
-
stuck under a car, you will lift that car. You will lift it
-
up. You will not let go you because she said this is what she
-
said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat
-
from the children's crumbs. Whoa her faith, her faith filled desperate cry,
-
because she said, I don't care. I want the crumbs right Any mom
-
here, when your child is sick, I don't care. You better open
-
your clinic now because my child is sick. You will bang down that door
-
because your child is sick, Your child needs to go back to school,
-
your child needs something. Any mom, and we know that mom. When
-
the child was stuck under a mom actually lifted the car to save her child.
-
I tell you the spirit of a man woman in desperation will do all
-
that they can because their child is not well. So she said, I
-
don't care. Just give me the crumbs, baby, Just give me the
-
crumbs, because even then my favor is I've heard that you heal, and
-
I'm desperate that my child gets delivered from this demon. And he's just amazed,
-
like he goes like whoa woman? Whoo? She just whipped me all
-
right, And she said, and the Lord said to her for this,
-
saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.
-
Imagine that. I don't know. Maybe we some of us when we read
-
the Bible, we just read it like that. You're reading with some expression,
-
with some feeling. Yeah, imagine if you really I mean, you
-
know what I tell you. It's so hard when your child is sick,
-
when your child has an unclean spirit, when your child is special needs,
-
when your child is beyond you can handle ADHD double times free. You know
-
how hard it is to manage. That's when the mom or dad will go
-
like, I need help. So a faith feeled, desperate cry is what
-
the Lord hears when you when you ask who can forgive me, I won't
-
tell you Jesus forgives us. When someone wants to be forgiven, they will
-
cry out and say who they will find everywhere, every God, everything,
-
every tree they will go to. But I want to tell you Jesus the
-
one who forgives. And so when we're desperate, we take the crumbs.
-
Men, we dig the crumbs. That's now we had what's the name Andrea?
-
I said, Andrea, give me the crumbs. Law you're going to
-
Italya, Yo, just give me the crumbs so I can have a taste
-
of Itaila, right, So just crumbs. Right. But there was a
-
faith fueled, desperate cry. Are you ready for that faith filled desperate cry
-
when there's a need, Because the Lord hears these are keys. These are
-
keys for you in your time of greatest need, faithful. And the last
-
the thought was for this section is Matthew chapter eight, verse five to ten,
-
and thirteen. This is the Roman centurion, the commander of one hundred
-
soldiers, the commander of one hundred soldiers. And he's a Roman centurion.
-
The Jewish nation was ruled and under was under the rule of the Roman Empire.
-
And so this was a Roman commander, a commander of one hundred centurion,
-
one hundred soldiers. Why in the world because of one soldier who fell
-
sick, paralyzed, tormented, one oh ninety nine still got you know,
-
he has to come and say Jesus, please heal my soldier. And I'm
-
thinking a one fuller sick. EMC love for today right now, right your
-
stuff singer, you go EMC. Right, this guy's like Jesus. Nobody
-
can take nobody. I don't nobody can take emcy. Or he is a
-
very very good stuff, a very good soldier to lead the team, and
-
he's so compassionate for his soldier. Or he's just a slave driver. I
-
don't know. He goes like Jesus, you need to heal my stuff,
-
all right. He's paralyzed and he's tormented. Hey, when we are sicker,
-
we are tormented. One. You know the spirit of torment. That's
-
what you need to take authority in Jesus' name and cast out that torment.
-
When you have depression, you are tormented, and you cast out that spirit
-
of torment. Amen, you don't sit there and say yeah, come baby,
-
come, no, you cast it out in Jesus' name, all right.
-
Something I feel like I feel the head is going somewhere, the body's
-
going somewhere now like heck, I'm a child of God. Like wake up
-
girl and cast that spirit a tall man, how all those words, all
-
those whatever unwellness cuss it out. And this man couldn't do it because he
-
didn't know how. But he believed that there was an authority in Jesus.
-
So he had a faith in the authority of Christ. And so Jesus today
-
passed. Jesus is very kind. He said, I would come, Jesus,
-
pastor Jesus today, he said, I'll come. The day the siden
-
Phoenicians, sorry, I give you the braidler and the crumbson on it.
-
So today he come, I come, I come. And then he said,
-
no, you don't need don't need to come. Well, I'm a
-
man under authority. When I say come, you go, you go,
-
you come. So Jesus, you just give the word, you speak the
-
word, you speak the word, Jesus, you don't need to come to
-
my house. Whoa Jesus said, I've never seen such faith. Because he
-
understood the power of authority, what it is to walk under the authority of
-
Christ. And he said, Jesus, you are theory. You just speak
-
the word. So hallelujah, guys, if you are the writers of the
-
Lord, if you are walking in is true, if you are doing the
-
right thing, you speak in the authority of Christ, and you speak that
-
word of healing into your body. You speak the release of circumstances from the
-
grips of the enemy. And this is what that man said, Jesus.
-
You speak the word, so God hears the faith, your faith in the
-
authority of Christ. You believe, and you say, I have that authority
-
in Christ. I have faith as to speak God's word. It has to
-
come about. The healing has to come about, the restoration has to come
-
about. It may not always take immediate, but there is process. I'm
-
giving you these keys because important that the Church, that the child of God
-
and the worry of Christ, needs to know how to break through to know
-
that God hears your prayer. Imagine, my friends, I was not yet
-
even a Christian. I was not yet even a Christian when I cried out
-
for help to Jesus at fourteen years old or fifteen years old. Lord,
-
I'm in trouble. Nobody can help me. I'm in horrible, horrible trouble.
-
Lord, I don't know who you are. Jesus. I was told
-
that day you are the God who helps people, right, and I said,
-
please help me. I was not yet even a believer. Can you
-
imagine? But on that day that was my heart faith, feel believe in
-
authority of Christ. Please help me, and I tell you twenty four hours
-
God settled the problem. Never again did this thing happen ever again. Not
-
this person come to trouble me at fifteen? What do I know? What
-
kind of trouble could you think? Right? Can't tell you? So?
-
No, I didn't get pregnant, but it was bad enough of trouble.
-
I said, Lord, save me. I wasn't even a believer in Christ.
-
But that day the Lord spoke to me. If you believe in God,
-
believe also in me. Oh Jesus, okay, because he says,
-
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can
-
come to God the Father except through me, and I say, I believe
-
help me Lord. So the Roman centurion wasn't even a fully believer yet,
-
but he said, I know your authority. So of church God hears Amen
-
God here So first John chapter five and verse fourteen to fifteen, says verse
-
John chapter five, verse fourteen to fifteen says, Now, this is the
-
confidence that we have in him. Amen. Do you have confidence? Amen?
-
You gotta believe it. Confidence you are here. You have the confidence
-
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. Amen.
-
And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask, we know
-
that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. Amen. You
-
must know that God will take care of this situation. I will tell you
-
how we have that confidence. So I encourage you in that confidence. Last
-
year and my dad, the final, the final run with him was that
-
he the last thing that took him out was that he had four stage spine
-
cancer out of where I don't know, out of maybe was the liver cancer
-
whatever, which which God had already taken care of. But suddenly the spine
-
cancer four stage eaten up the l something L four L five. And they
-
said that your dad needs radiotherapy. I said okay, and I said how
-
much? And then it just spit out in the mouth noma like twenty thousand
-
now, no much explanation. I'm like, I don't have twenty thousand now,
-
I really don't. I said, give me a week lives. They
-
said, I give you a week, you think about it. So I
-
took a week. A week fly very fast. But then there's this confidence
-
that we have in him. If we ask anything according to his will,
-
he will hear us. I said, it's possible. I will try and
-
scrape up the ten cave, but I cannot get another ten cave. Where
-
will I find it? There is in my mind, But there's this confidence.
-
There's this this staying confidence that God, you know my dad's need.
-
And I said, Lord, I serve you, take care of my family,
-
take care of me, and we've served you all this time. Please
-
remember us. And you know the twenty thousand came from someone I haven't talked
-
to for a long time. Then other funds came to help. That's the
-
confidence that when you ask the Lord, I got no other help. You
-
know, friend, I don't have a rich uncle. I don't have any
-
rich uncles rich and tease. I don't have any relatives that will be willing
-
to give freely lend you or you know. It's very hard, but the
-
Lord is your close relative, he's your father. God. This is my
-
confidence that you cry out with a desperate cry, I need to pay this
-
bill for my dad and the Lord supplied money came in banking for me to
-
start him on radiotherapy. But a lot to care of it, I'll say
-
to us. To me, that was a difficulty. Maybe to somebody else
-
it isn't. But that was my challenge where to find I don't have this
-
even if I scrape it up, maybe halfler maybe, but where God is
-
good? Amen, God is good? Do I hear an? Amen?
-
You have the confidence in Christ? Can you say hallelujah? Amen? Church?
-
When you go through your most challenging times in your life, I want
-
to tell you it is all these songs we worship. That's why I tell
-
the church worship leaders please don't sing songs we cannot repeat again like a million
-
verses, right, and then sing one time and then don't sing again.
-
This is so rubbish, right, because we need those songs. We need
-
to say I walk by faith and not by side. We need to be
-
able to sing. You know, hey, don't sing a nice song,
-
raise a hallelujah. My praise is a weapon now the enemy. And then
-
you only sing it on Sunday. What for the song sung here must be
-
sung on your Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Not only JAK can sing Monday,
-
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Not only JK.
-
We believe us, the writers of the launa can sing Monday, Tuesday,
-
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Huh. Jesus works for
-
me. Jesus works for me because Jesus loves me. Not only JK can
-
sing songs like that. So come on, young people, stop singing JK.
-
If you don't know what JK is, don't cook la bts all right,
-
Yeah, because he sings Monday, Friday, Saturday. We got something
-
better than JK. I got j C. We got j C on our
-
side, all right. JK can be on the side j C. First.
-
Amen, we have this confidence, so encourage you. He hears the
-
crab, the righteous. He hears those who fear the Lord your heart,
-
you just want to do right, You honor him. Number three, he
-
hears those who come to him in truth. Amen. He hears the faith
-
feel desperate cry? Number five, he hears the faith that you believe is
-
under the authority of Christ. Faith in the authority of Christ. He hears
-
Amen. Can I hear? Amen? Are you you got something on your
-
table, on your plate? You need to go through that. I want
-
to tell you he hears Let God lead the way for us. Amen.
-
Then my next question, what else does God hear? Oooo? What else
-
does the Lord here? What else? Well, I hate to say it,
-
but he hears your complaints and murmur rings. All right? Oh,
-
some people say, whooo hey, you're not really reactive. Say ooh,
-
he hears your complaints and murmur rings. Are you a murmurer? Are you
-
a complainer? Most of us are. We love to complain, We love
-
to murmur. I checked it out Cambridge Dictionary what murmur means? Well,
-
the first one that popped up was murmurs like the murmur in your heart.
-
When you hear a murmur in your heart, please go see a heart doctor.
-
It's a problem. Yeah, you gotta see the heart surgeon or the
-
I don't know what kind of doctor you call his heart doctor. Cardiologies,
-
the top cardiology is very old. Now doctor Kenneth's chin, not my husband,
-
all right, yeah, top cardiology is very very cardiologe So I learn
-
from it. Is doctor Kenneth chin, but not my can of chin.
-
Okay, not your canachin, but another doctor can a chin. So when
-
you have a murmur in your heart. It's a low tone, you know,
-
like I don't know. I don't have a murmur in my heart,
-
so I can't tell you what it is. But there's murmuring, so you
-
something's wrong with her heart. The other murmur is this low tone consistent complaints
-
by people, but it's low tone in spirits. And so the Lord hears
-
the complaints and murmurings of yours. So I shall say, because the murmurings
-
and the complaints can become gossip later, gossip if it's not helpful. Is
-
it ever helpful unless you're gonna help someone. Yeah, But but the Lord
-
hears it. I want us to understand the keys to unlock, what doesn't
-
unlock, and what locks? All right, unlocks and then lock it up,
-
and then we cannot find So the Lord hears the complaints and murmurings.
-
First one Exodus, we want to learn from the children of Israel. Exodus,
-
chapter sixteen, verse two to eight. Hallo church, are you still
-
alive? Come on, people right from the back, and I hear and
-
amen, I can't hear you. I cannot hear you. Come on,
-
all the people und one hundred behind that stop your ning and say amen.
-
Hallelujah. All right, the people in the middle, are you alive and
-
away? Harlu Oh My God Holy Spirit, please touch them right now.
-
Amen in Jesus name, Lord, fill them with your presence. Amen.
-
The joy of the Lord be your strength. Amen. Amen. Yeah.
-
I wake up every day like this. Yeah. No, most days I
-
wake up ready to go to work. Some days, yeah, I say
-
min thank you. So is hallelujah, Ahmed, praise the Lot. That's
-
good. Sunday is a good day. It's good to celebrate the Lord.
-
And we want to know what does the Lord here besides the other five things.
-
He hears our murmurings, he hears our complaints. But let's look at
-
Exodus chapter sixteen. If you're there, say yes, you're there, Exodus.
-
I'm not there yet, okay. Exodus chapter sixteen and verse one and
-
verse two to it. Now you if you know, if you're if you've
-
been reading the story of Exodus, is how the children of Israel were taken
-
now or were let out of Egypt by Moses because God said he wants to
-
set his people free, and he's gonna lead them to the Promised Land,
-
a land filled with you're like milk and honey. Okay, it just means
-
a make it. Milk and honey just means providence overflowing blessings. It's good
-
stuff, okay, A land flowing with milk and honey our wrath. So
-
God says, you're gonna go. You gotta take it. You're gonna possess
-
it. You're gonna go answer Hevites. The Jebusites don't know. Bood sites,
-
what el the sites, and the Jeratites, all of them are there.
-
But you're gonna go in and you're gonna possess it. I'm gonna give
-
you the land flowing with milk and honey and church. If you don't already
-
know, if you take a helicopter flight across our plane ride across and over
-
Israel, you will know that it is a land flowing with milk and honey.
-
It is the only desert area that is green and fertile. Jordan is
-
dry. Next to them is who else. There's a sea ready. So
-
it's Jordan, and I don't know Syria. Above all of that is dry
-
land and it is desert. Israel, on the other hand, surprised to
-
me when I looked out it was green. That is God's promise, promise,
-
Okay, So the Lord say, I will give it to you.
-
So he takes them out. So they were walking about two months in two
-
months only. I don't know what happened. Again, when you read Exodus,
-
you've got to read numbers, You've gotta read Deuteronomy. They all tie
-
up together in piecemeal. Here, so they go, and then two months,
-
all right, is the second month? Verse two. In verse one,
-
he says they were they came to the wilderness of sin between Elim and
-
Sinai on the fifteen day of the second month. Fifteen day of the second
-
month only and verse two. Then the whole congregation, everybody say, oh,
-
all right, the whole congregational children Israel complain against Moses and Aaron in
-
the wilderness. Who jang, jang jang. There's a whole two million of
-
them. Six hundred thousand were made of men. The rest were women,
-
children, cattle, donkeys, chickens, and also the non juice, the
-
mix group, the mixed multitude. The whole congregation started to complain and murmur,
-
and they were murmuring, murmuring. Then, and they heard it.
-
They were murmuring against Moses and Aaron. Why because they said, oh,
-
then we had died by the hand of the Lord in the lane of Egypt.
-
No, they are not Texan. When we sat by the pots of
-
meat, by the way, there was not park. It was probably beef.
-
Okay, they don't eat pop. We sat by the pots of meat.
-
And when we ate bread to the foe, for you have brought us
-
out into the wilderness to kill us. We once sat and ate bread.
-
And I don't know what they ate for those two months. La. Actually
-
it doesn't record not yet man I had not come yet, which miss they
-
never got hungry, which miss they never went to toilet, think about it,
-
didn't have to pooh poo because didn't eat Nolan, not really La.
-
There they brought them. They brought all their their flat flat breads to Kish
-
bread, flat bread, tortilla. Then make some. They brought me them
-
and they traveled. Maybe they had some left of a very dry braid.
-
I have to say, maybe they're one foinish ready. And then they said
-
you have brought us here to kill us. And then the Lord heard it.
-
So you look at this verse verse eight, and Moses said, I
-
mean, so the Lord heard it, because verse three they say you brought
-
us out to the wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger. No se
-
no nasilama, no ni, no japati. We're all gonna die of hunger,
-
they said. So the Lord then said to Moses, okay, you're
-
going to get bread in the morning and meet in the evening. Okay,
-
so this is a cycle. You can't You've got to read into numbers and
-
Deuteronomy. We're cutting shot. So what happened in verse eight? So Moses
-
said, all right, this is what the Lord says. Yes, and
-
you're going to have meet in the evening and bread in the morning. For
-
the Lord years your complaints which you make against him? And what are we?
-
Who are we people? Your complaints are not against us, but against
-
the Lord. When you and I complain and murmur over the leadership over our
-
lives, like our mom and dad, over our bosses, our employers,
-
our country, president, prime minister, our whoever's an authority, your church
-
pastor your elders, you don't complain against them. You're actually complaining against the
-
Lord. Because Romans Chapter thirteen says, the Lord places authority over us,
-
including our prime ministers, our parliament, including our parents, and your leaders.
-
You chose to work for that person, So do they become your authority?
-
When we complain and murmur, understand the depth of it is that we
-
are actually complaining against the Lord, and you're telling God, you don't know
-
what you're doing. We're all sin of that. We're all we're all guilty.
-
We need to repent because we need to unlock those things that bind us
-
down. The enemy would choose to rob us off our breakthrougher by by causing
-
because that's what they even, That's what the what the serpent said to Eve,
-
right, So anyway, so complain, complain numbers Chapter eleven, verse
-
one to six numbers. Chapter eleven, take you through the Bible. Say
-
okay, church cannon not okay? Okay now I know. Don't play your
-
handphone again unless you look at the Bible. Don't play your games. I
-
can see you, mother of the church, can see you doing stuff there.
-
Yeah, take your hands off. Okay, don't see that all right
-
now? Numbers Chapter eleven worse one to six. Sess now when the people
-
complain it, what say the word? Everybody? What does it say?
-
I think I can say about one hundred people here? Can I hear a
-
hundred voices number one, two three. You gotta say it so that you
-
can hear it. Say it again it do you like to be displeased?
-
Definitely that you like your daughter to displease you? No, No, you
-
get angry right because you work so hard to provide. And then there we
-
complain. I don't want to eat that fish. It's so dry for the
-
mother working so hard. I don't like that shoe. It's not cool.
-
Complain will make God very displeased. He actually gets displeased. Yet he would
-
do something. You see. Although it displeased him, he still went ahead
-
and bless them. You know. That's how merciful our God is. But
-
in a continuous, low hum drum consistent complain, everybody hump hmm, everybody
-
hamp h loud a bit hmm gets through the ears of the Lord. Yeah.
-
It's a low, consistent, low tone m complainer. And the Lord
-
said it displeased. You know. Wow, very suck, very suck.
-
Moving on faster. John chapter sixth verse forty one and forty three. What
-
happens in John chapter six, verse forty one and forty three. The Jews
-
were complaining about Jesus because he said, I am the Bread of life,
-
and they're like, we are not cannibalists. We will not eat flesh.
-
So Jesus said in verse forty three, he said to them, stop complaining.
-
Pastor Jesus says, stop complaining. He heard it, He heard their
-
complaints, and he said stop. We gotta stop murmuring because he knew that
-
if you continued, they will not reap the blessing. Stop. James,
-
chapter five, verse nine. James, Chapter five and verse nine. What
-
does it say? It says, do not grumble against one another? Sorry,
-
I grumble against you, Mabel, Elder Mabel. Don't grumble against one
-
another, brethren, unless you be condemned. Behold, the judge is standing
-
at the door. We need to know the key so that we know what
-
we should and should not do. Of course, we will lock ourselves in
-
from the blessing of the Lord. God doesn't want us to be tied down,
-
weight down by the lies and the temptations that the devil will throw at
-
us. He wants us to walk in the freedom, in the victorious living
-
that He has meant for us from day one. He loves us more than
-
anything to give his only son to come in the flesh. God is spirit.
-
We can't see him. He's invisible, but he he's omnipresent. He's
-
present everywhere. He couldn't come because he's a holy God. So he said
-
his son. His son came in the in the form of a human being.
-
You and I will see Jesus in the human form. He's the resurrected
-
body to come and understand us, to come and walk and know how we
-
would feel our emotions, our temptations. But he was tempted on every side,
-
but he never sin. That is our Jesus. Thank you Jesus for
-
going obediently. All right, So don't grumble against one another. We're all
-
guilty of this. We need to repent so that we can unlock any curse
-
there's been on our lives. So what happens when we murmur? Friends?
-
What happens? Number one? We lose sight of God's perfect plan for us.
-
When you and I murmur continuously, murmur one time, God still a
-
provide murmur two times three times like non stoma. And there are people like
-
that. I don't know whether it's a character thing about them. Have you
-
met anyone at a home? No? Laden If I am, you can
-
tell me, so I get corrected. That first thing you do and say
-
how you are? I tell you, oh, pastor Againla growing smart to
-
grubi pasce againla planting church. I don't know. Low are you doing?
-
Hi Adelia? There's murmur ring. You know? Are you? He has
-
another dream He has to help, specially his children. Now, ah,
-
you no, I want to do suicide prevention. I tell you a non
-
stoppler. That's a complaint, cause you are not aligning to God's vision.
-
Perhaps even even these children of Israel. God said, I'm taking you to
-
the Promised Land. You're going to have your own land. He creates a
-
whole new nation, a whole new people group. They were called the Hebrews,
-
the people on the other side of the river. That's why they will
-
called Hebrews. No he Brew tea he Brew, he Brew a pot of
-
tea. The Jews, he said, I'll give you a good lad They
-
lost sight of it, and they were just worried about what they were going
-
to eat today. No, Fred chicken are you today? No shamble blood
-
chain? Sorry joy are you today? Ala? No? You have to
-
walk so far wire complain, complain, complain, And more than them,
-
they complained so badly that they were confessing stuff they shouldn't have. Number One,
-
we lose sight of God's plan if we murmur, and if we don't
-
obey when you are told, when God already give us a direction, when
-
your leaders have given you, and you will lose sight of the actual big
-
picture that God has given us. And we think that we're doing the right
-
thing by remaining in the desert, No, we lose sight. Number two,
-
we allow doubt to rule. Now we begin to doubt God, Hey,
-
why you bring me out of Egypt? So they will come saying again,
-
So doubt will rule over our lives. We will doubt that leadership.
-
We will doubt our boss, will doubt our mom and dad. We will
-
doubt our best friend, We will doubt our country, leadership, a lot
-
of things. We would outrun everything. We were doubt because we lost sight
-
of the big picture, the perfect plan that God has. We were allowed
-
out. I can't, I don't have time to do this, but it's
-
all reading in Exodus and numbers. They doubted even when God said, go
-
and see the promised land. Go. It was an eleven day journey from
-
where they left to Kurdish Barniar Kurddish Ban is very near to Canaan Land.
-
That's not the bookshop, Okay. Canaan Land is the land flowing with milk
-
and honey. So only eleven days journey and then a few more days they
-
were reached. But God had to test and see whether they were really really
-
faithful to him, and they were not, so he took them forty years.
-
Forty years because for forty days when they eyed and inspired out the land,
-
they came back and gave bad news to everybody there. You cannot allow.
-
They've got giants line that land. You cannot allow. So hardler but
-
now but now the fruits very big on. I do think think rip So
-
and the Promegranates was so nice or so you see, but Cannol I can
-
now got giants there. Sometimes we do that to ourselves, isn't it When
-
we want to move a new way, we want to do something new.
-
I also give this something. But if we can just focus on Jesus and
-
say, okay, Lord, it's gonna be tough. It's it's difficult.
-
I've never done it before. But because it's you, Lord, we're gonna
-
trust you for it. So they have caused out and they costed out to
-
other people, and so the whole group decided they're not going to the Promised
-
Land. Only Joshua and Caleb bravely said, hey, guys, don't worry,
-
lie yo, the Lord already promise us. We should take it.
-
We take it, take take, take it off. But they said,
-
cannot take too bad. The Anarchims are there the giants. Following that we
-
will let unbelief grow, unbelief began to grow, and as I told the
-
Morning Service earlier Morning Service, unbelief was quoted by I can't remember who this
-
person said. The unbelief is like a seed. If you want to,
-
you will grow. So every time you have an unbelieve word. I don't
-
believe in Roselyn, I don't believe in the flood of unbelievable biling me.
-
And I will not believe in Roslyn anymore. I will not believe in my
-
pastor anymore. I will not believe in my dad, and I don't think
-
he would do it. I will not believe in my boss now what neither
-
will I believe in my government. Unbelief builds up, builds out. Anything
-
you water is going to grow. It will flood the whole place. Either
-
with growth of the right type or the wrong thing, so unbelief will grow,
-
and we don't want that to happen. And that was what happened to
-
Chunrea Israel. The unbelief worked up so much that they suddenly forgot and they
-
just didn't believe Moses and Iran anymore. They complain, complain, which was
-
actually against God. Lastly, I'm just using this word no other better word,
-
maybe adversity. We invite curses, we invite adversity to come upon us
-
because we're declaring death. So the churn Israel would say we're going to die
-
in the wilderness. Again, they will say we're going to die in a
-
wilderness, and again and again they said, we're going to die in a
-
wilderness. Until you know what God said. Okay, you confessed it.
-
It's happening. Huh. Proverbs chapter eighteen, verse twenty one says death and
-
life are in the power of your tongue, and if you want to eat
-
the fruit of it, go ahead use it. So which way you want
-
to use it? Life? Death, So we're all Guiltylla guiltilla, So
-
the repent before Jesus, because sometimes we do speak death words. Sometimes we
-
give up someone. I remember all I had a sister in christ Is.
-
We were dealing with another young man and she said Sandra many years ago,
-
to say, do you think a leopard can change its spots? I was
-
a big question to me, Jesus, all things are possible, but she
-
didn't think that this was changed. Later I had to deal with this person
-
because I had to lead the person. I'm like yalla lest but just think
-
God is the only one who can stir. But our will is ours to
-
choose. And they kept saying, we're going to die, We're going to
-
die. So in November Pula in numbers chapter fourteen, are you learning something
-
Church, because it's written in the world of God. It's not my words,
-
Okay, it's written here in numbers fourteen, verse twenty eight that as
-
they were making decisions where they take the land, don't take the Lena.
-
Later, God was so upset, right he said, say to them,
-
because the Lord had said, I don't know how long I can tahn this
-
groupla, the evil congregation. They complain against me. I've heard the complaints
-
with the children of Israel said against me. This verse twenty seven, verse
-
twenty eight numbers chapter fourteen, he says say to them, as I live,
-
says the Lord, just as you have spoken in my hearing, So
-
I will do to you. You understand that, you understand saying just as
-
you have spoken. When I'm here in front of you, you can dare
-
say you're gonna die. Okay, I'll give you. I'll give you up
-
to whatever you confess. So they die. They die. Those who are
-
twenty years and above walked forty years. They had no choice because they complained.
-
So forty years slowly you grow all. If you're forty, you become
-
eighty and so walking. So only those below twenty survived, and they became
-
the new generation that entered the Promised Land. Not because God is cruel,
-
not because he's evil. You confessed. They confessed. So this is in
-
the word of God. Friends, you aren't healing in your body. You
-
aren't healing in your spirit. Stop confessing death. Don't say I will never
-
marry or never marry. Of course you won't get married now I ugly.
-
I agree. Then you become ugly now like I willays tell the parents.
-
Don't call your son akawa amawa loua maola loo, like kat la loo,
-
like cat lou, like dog. Right God proper names. Alex Jonathan,
-
handsome Apple, right side Zi lang Si on length ty Ah. Don't call
-
her name lim Benko, Hey, people named like I know lim Benko,
-
Siriah. I went for graduation, Limbanko. I was the only one who
-
laughed. I thought my friends would laugh with me. They all walked away,
-
including my husband. Leave her alone. We don't know her graduate walked
-
up Limbnko utter, it was funny. Why would her parent name your child
-
Limbanko? Yeah, Lina Nola. So what you say that would happen because
-
what comes around goes around. What you saw is what you will reap.
-
This is just life. But God heve U was the keys. So Number
-
one, what happens when we mama, you lose sight of God's perfect plan.
-
Number two, we were allowed doubt to rule in our lives about a
-
person, about our country, even Malaysia. Hey, I die hard fan
-
Malaysia. Okay, Yeah, everybody would have thought Sandra would have left for
-
overseas since she looked like my Sally. Anyway, you'll say right, You'll
-
say right, I didn't die my hair, nae if I die my hair
-
Italian, you know. See, I take the crumbs from Andrea. I
-
die hard fan Malaysia, and today I've not left my country. I'm not
-
migrated. I have every chance to do so everybody wants me. Okay,
-
no, all right, If we speak death to Malaysia, you'll be a
-
for God for saken country. But it's not. God met Malaysia for crying
-
out loud. He didn't just make America. He didn't make a Strial.
-
He didn't just make the UK. He didn't just make China. He made
-
Malaysia. Please don't make this country die because you speak death to it.
-
If you think government is better, there are other worse governments or so every
-
government got problem one. Don't be so naive to think that other countries don't
-
have issues. You just don't know. So closing, we lose sight God's
-
plan. We were allowed doubt to rule. We will let unbelieved to grow,
-
and we will invite adversity. We will invite curses over our lives because
-
life and death and life are in our tongue. If you want the good
-
fruit, you must know what to say. So what can we do?
-
The change that number one put on the garment of praise come up? I
-
think that they passed the preacher, put on the garment of praise. This
-
is Isaiah sixty one, verse three. You know we can put on a
-
garment of complaint. I'm sure we can take it off, right. You
-
can put on a garment of all, but you can take it off and
-
put on a garment of new, a new life in Christ. We can
-
put on the garment of praise. So you and I must learn to learn
-
to praise God out of our mourning, out of our ashes, out of
-
our pain. Praise God. Really, I kid, you know it will.
-
Things work in the heaven list you can't see. But the Lord responds.
-
He hears our praise, and he says, whoa, I can hear
-
my child praising there? Whoa? Oh, come on, give me all
-
you want. And he's praising and loves the praise because praise lifts up the
-
ceiling. Praise lifts up the ceiling. I don't know how to check.
-
I'm with testimony, you know what, I'm ready, But praise lifts up
-
the testament, and testament lifts up the ceiling. I remember, you know,
-
I quit my job, I left my secular, my mom my corporate.
-
Well, ready to go into the mission field, Ready to learn English,
-
to get a certification to be an English teacher. And then the day
-
I go and sign out there, oh dat me. Sorry, I have
-
no place for you, Yello, Parney, I said, please, Love's
-
sorry. We don't have any place for you at the moment. So I
-
said, if someone pulls offa and you please call me. I'm desperate.
-
I quit my job. I really need that. I need to get that,
-
sir, because I want to go onto the mission field. And it
-
was a twenty four hour battle in the spirit because it felt like God gave
-
it to me and the devil just so you praise Scotler crying all I want
-
to go to the mission. I cannot get my shirt. Of course,
-
it's what we call her quick fast six weeks. You first, you learn
-
very fast, you get your curtain, you get off, you can go
-
off church. We're gonna send me out. You praise Scott, just prayse
-
Scotler instead of complaining. But I just had to praise good. In twenty
-
four hours, they called me back and said, we believe we have a
-
place for you. Somebody just left, do they not coming? Yay,
-
I'm coming, thank you. We put on the praise garment of praise Amen,
-
stop complaining. Don't complain? All right? Got this very displeased.
-
So instead of singing complain songs, come or why don't you sing some praise
-
songs. This is when you sing. I pray hallelujah. What you say
-
rasa hallelujah? Come on, come on people, raiser hallelujah. Say halleljah.
-
Yeah, rais hallelujah. From your Mondays and your Saturdays all the way,
-
raisa hallelujah. Don't just sing it here here already heavenly, but in
-
your home, in your office, and there's no hallelujah. You hallelujela.
-
Okay, praise you put on the garment of praise and then let God work
-
through your praise, not through your murmurings. All right. Gratitude and thanksgiving,
-
amen. This spirit of gratitude is very lacking in a lot of people.
-
First, Tessalonia's now, I told you what is the will of God?
-
The will of God is rejoice and give thanks. So if you don't
-
know one is God, feel some of your prayer. God was your will,
-
for here is written Ready give thanks, Give thanks. That's the will
-
of God. Number one, Give thanks, Give thanks? Are you my
-
job? Thank you? Jesus, are you my face like that? Thank
-
you? Jesus? Are you what is kind of boy? You give me?
-
Okay, give thanks a car? You give me God check, you
-
give me a give thanks with a grateful heart. Give this all right?
-
You give thanks? Amen, gratitude and thanksgiving opens you away. God will
-
lift up that daughter's closed. Do not murmur. Were very very few of
-
us are thankful. Thankful to our moms and dads for the hard work they
-
have done. We we sometimes treat our parents like you know, day at
-
the door, like the guyenne on the floor and everyone. We're ungrateful to
-
our parents, were ungrateful to our brother sisters, were ungrateful to our pastors,
-
being grateful to our friends. Sometimes because we are unhappy inside. Will
-
Ferrell did not create the song happy. It was his name, Pharol Philip
-
ferrellel somebody fellow, okay, because I'm happy. No, Jesus, he's
-
the joy. So stop complaining. You don't have I didn't. My father
-
lost everything, you know, friends, he lost everything at the point and
-
I was going to go to university. I could not go to university.
-
He lost my our home, he lost everything. So do I complain and
-
hate his guts. He made a mistake. But I have Jesus, So
-
I say, Lord, thank you. You will find me an education somewhere,
-
somehow, somehow, God, Thank you Jesus. Very painful. No,
-
cannot go to university at the time, and everybody was going to university.
-
You have to give thanks, you have to have gratitude. It will
-
open the door for us. God opens next third point, Conversations that build
-
What kind of conversations are we having? Huh? And the mamaster conversations that
-
are building up? Sing last sums to one another. You are beautiful.
-
I don't like this, but thank you Jesus. Or I speak the sum,
-
speak the words of life. Speak life into your circumstance. Think better
-
of somebody else. Oh, declare life, Declare that you know things can
-
be better. Conversations Ephesions five, nineteen twenty one. He says, speak
-
the sam sing spiritual songs. It just means speaking the word of God.
-
Because if we better, we keep our mouth shut. That if you've got
-
nothing to say, but better, don't want me out, better follow follow
-
because for me day who one right you and nothing to say? I swallow
-
your own warman. Please do not vomit at me. Mm hmm, all
-
right, No, I know I'm magnetic, but don't vomit at me.
-
Later song, the teens are laughing. I'm magnetic, but please don't vomit
-
at me. Swallow your vomit and speak better words. If not, keep
-
quiet, because you will. You will not unlock. You will tie us
-
down. And we have no breakthrough, no breakthrough. God hears us.
-
You aren't God to hear, or you aren't got to close his ears.
-
Let's God will do. Cannot I cannot because the Holy God last one Hebrews
-
eleven six. This church is inundated with this. Please God more than anything
-
by faith. Come on here, Brews eleven six. We are inundated by
-
the word of faith. In acts, this church was planted by faith,
-
not by sight. There was no thousand people where we start. There was
-
only three. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. A lot
-
of people here want to please God. Lord. Young people ask me,
-
pass, how can I please God in my relationship? Have faith? If
-
you have faith in your relationship, then you'll know what to do. Have
-
faith. It is without faith we cannot please God. But He's a reward
-
of those who seek him. Faith is the currency of heaven. We speak
-
the word of faith. Please God. By having faith to trust him,
-
Please God. More than anything he hears. He hears the word of faith
-
when you speak it. Amen. Lastly, I close with this Malachi chapter
-
three, verse sixteen. Remember these friends every time you gather for Mama time.
-
Then those who fear the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord
-
listened, and he heard them. So a book of remembrance was written before
-
him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on his name. God
-
has a nice journal that journals all your conversations that are amazing things that you
-
say, amazing stuff about him. He writes it down and you remembers it's
-
amazing. He has a journal. I don't know what looks like, but
-
it says here that the Lord actually listens and hears us. Prince, what
-
are you speaking behind your parents back, your boss's back, your best friend's
-
back, your pastor's back, your elders back, your home leader's back.
-
What are you speaking? Because the Lord listens and he hears them. I
-
can't hear what you say about me, too bad, But the Lord's The
-
Lord listens because either you're praying and crying out by faith to say, the
-
Lord, I need your help. And he hears the cry of the righteous,
-
the cry of those who fear the Lord, the cry who speaking truth,
-
cries the one with them. He hears the cry of the faith filled,
-
desperate cry. He hears the cry full of faith in the authority of
-
Christ. He hears that that's your blessing, that's yours. But when we
-
continue to murmur, that's also what he hears, then it brings a displeasure.
-
When he brings a displeasure, we invite adversity into our own lives.
-
We invite unbelief because we keep speaking unbelief. My God is teaching us.
-
So I'm giving you the keys. Take it, because I'm applying these same
-
principles in my life as well. If I have to repent, I repent
-
for speaking unwllness about somebody or or complaining all the time. Gonna stop it,
-
Just stop it. Nobody else can stop you but yourself. You can
-
choose. Amen. But the beauty about it. When I first first read
-
this verse is a long time ago. I kind of whoa God listens to
-
our conversations, and if it's good, He's gonna write it down, and
-
he's gonna remember what you said, Owen, it's evil. He has no
-
part in it because God is not evil. He's good. How hallelujah,
-
Come on church? Does God here? And what does he hear? He
-
hears a lot? Amen, He hears you, He hears your heart cry,
-
he hears your desires, he hears he hears your complaints of causing and
-
your pain, and he does something. He did do something for them,
-
He did provide for them. He did it over and over again until he
-
said, that's it. It's just too much. They forgot gratitude and thanksgiving,
-
so fine in your heart gratitude and thanksgiving, Thank the people that have
-
brought you up, who have recognized your talent. People who have raised you
-
up could be your family members, your brother, your sister, your parents,
-
you know, your teacher, yeah, your leaders, your boss.
-
Sometimes we're angry about certain thing, but we shouldn't write off everything. Don't
-
throw the baby out with the bath water. So because they never used to
-
bathe last time in England. So the first one goes in, very clean
-
the water, it's English saying. And then father goes in, and big
-
brother goes in, and so the family very big and finally little baby John
-
goes in. By the time baby John goes in, it's black and so
-
they couldn't find baby. And they thought, oh, that's it, let's
-
throw the water out. Forgot the baby was sinking inside. It's the saying,
-
So they say, don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
-
Yeah, there's a lot of things that might not be, but there's a
-
good baby in there, be able to say thank you. Sometimes, don't
-
complain about that one wrong thing, you go and say the whole thing wrong.
-
Man, we all make mistakes. You I didn't know I heard you.
-
Tell me, don't talk behind my back, tell me or find a
-
way to tell mi, La, write a letter whatever. La. Of
-
course you're scared to see me or I scared to see you. God's principles
-
are based on his person, his character, the character of God. That's
-
why he hears your prayer. You are righteous. You are man woman who
-
fear God. You are a man woman who walks in the truth. You
-
are man woman who pray, who cries out with faith filled desperate cry.
-
You're a man woman who has faith in the authority of Christ. Those are
-
the prayers he hears. Amen. Amen, don't cut short the destiny that
-
God has simply because we are murmuring. And we got a learn from this.
-
Children of Israel, don't make the same mistake. Change will happen.
-
Friends, This venue is a change. Thank you for coming along with us,
-
Thank you for believing with us. This venue is a change. So
-
many things have changed, but only for the better because God knows better.
-
But if we murmur, we cannot go very far. Will we will cut
-
short God's destiny for us as a group. So I want to say the
-
Lord hears us, and there's more encouragement already at the start. Five things
-
for you to take home with you, to say, Yes, he hears
-
me. Here's ears as big as an elephant. He will hear me.
-
He loves you genuinely. He loves you with his life. God wants to
-
work. Amen. So if you hear yourself murmuring, you say stop right
-
now, thank you very much. I'm not going to grumble. I'm not
-
going to murmur. I'm going to praise God. I'm gonna put on the
-
garment of praise. I don't want the look shot of my destiny. I
-
want to see further. Amen. And you might say I'm only human So
-
I tell you what. Don't serve the flesh, serve the spirit. Romans
-
chapter seven. Don't serve the flesh, serve the spirit, your spirit,
-
Man, the mind will serve the law of the Spirit of life. The
-
flesh will always damn to load, and you just say go drop it and
-
you just because the flesh has to die. This is the flesh has been
-
living with us forever. So we're are tempted all the time, but you
-
say no, no. Paul said, Thanks be to God. I'm such
-
a wretched person, but thanks be to God for the wonderful gift of Jesus
-
Christ that I can overcome to the law of the Spirit of life working in
-
me. Amen, all of us who are in Christ has the Law of
-
the Spirit of life working in us. We hope you've been blessed by this
-
message. For more information on our church, please visit as Church dot org.
