  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your.

  3. Tea love for God. We want to love God. That's

  4. all I want to say to you. Just love God,

  5. and how do we And of course I will talk

  6. about how to love God. Love God. We want to

  7. love God, simply put. Deuteronomy chapter six, verse four to

  8. five says it says here the verse if you want

  9. to turn to it, Deuteronomy chapter six and verse four

  10. to five. Here, oh Israel, the Lord our God, the

  11. Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God

  12. with all your heart, with all your soul, and with

  13. all your strength. Amen. This is God speaking to us, saying, hey,

  14. he here, o Israel. Yes, you were speaking then to

  15. the children of Israel. But when we got saved and

  16. born again, we become God's children and we get to

  17. hear this as well. To love the Lord our God

  18. with all of our heart, with all of our soul,

  19. with all of our strength.

  20. Jesus brings it back again.

  21. He quotes it in Mark chapter twelve, verse thirty as

  22. well as in Matthew twenty two thirty seven, and Jesus

  23. quotes back this scripture and he says and you shall

  24. love the Lord our God with all your heart, with

  25. all your soul, with all your mind, and with all

  26. your strength. This is the first commandment. Amen. Hallelujah. This

  27. is a verse we we all you know, know of

  28. and hear of. Some of us memorize it. Sometimes it's

  29. hard to say we churned first heart or soul or strength.

  30. Okay, but this is.

  31. The call for us here, oh ex partners, Love the

  32. Lord your God. Sandra, love the Lord your God. Hey, Terrence,

  33. love the Lord your God with all of your heart,

  34. with all of your soul, with all of your mind,

  35. with all of your strength. I just want to say

  36. to us, love the Lord. Amen. Okay. Now, loving the

  37. Lord is simply I'm not and I'm only gonna talk

  38. about love God because I won't tell you how much

  39. God loves you. Because you know how much God loves you.

  40. The fact that you're here, you're blessed. Hey, His goodness

  41. follows after you every day of your lives. He loved

  42. us so much that he himself gave his life for us.

  43. Jesus is God's Son, and Jesus, you know, took our

  44. place at the cross to pay the debt that we

  45. could never have paid, and you and I will never

  46. know how much it costs Jesus to be on the

  47. cross and to take the shame, to take our pain,

  48. to take our sin. And so God already loves us,

  49. and the moment you come into him, you believe him,

  50. you trust him. He just clothes you with his robe

  51. of righteousness, and he loves you and gives you a

  52. hope and a future and not you know, living eternity

  53. now and not later, but even now. Amen.

  54. So when we say.

  55. Love God, and the word love from the Greek is everybody.

  56. I got Pey, I go pey right, And no time

  57. to study so much, but just to say God, God

  58. pays you. God loves the world that.

  59. He gave his only son.

  60. The love that God loves us with is our gape,

  61. which is the God kind of love unconditional takes you

  62. as you takes me as I am. Yaga pays us.

  63. And you know I cannot got Pey Ellie and take

  64. her as she is unconditional lover. But I can also

  65. filayo her as in I love her as a friend.

  66. But to love God as a friend pi lao. Well

  67. that's what Peter said when when Jesus said hey, Peter,

  68. you know you love me. And Peter was so broken

  69. because he had fled when deny Jesus, and all he

  70. could come at was with I just PRAYD love you.

  71. I just PRAYD love you.

  72. Phi are you?

  73. And you know asked him three times.

  74. There was a healing happening, the restoration, and he couldn't

  75. even say, God, I love you, agapey you, I reverence you,

  76. I honor you. He couldn't because he was so saddened

  77. that he had failed God. Right, but Jesus restored him.

  78. And so you and I can have different levels of love.

  79. But when we love God, it is our gapey to God,

  80. meaning we reverence him, we honor him, We love him

  81. with all of our hearts, we give our lives to him,

  82. and we just you know, look to him. And he's

  83. also like our father God, like a father on earth.

  84. He's also father God, but he's the Father in heaven,

  85. and we reverence we love him in that way. But

  86. he doesn't want to be a God that's so far.

  87. He wants to be a God that's near. And that's

  88. why Jesus came to bring God nearer to us. So

  89. this morning, when I speak about love God. We want

  90. to grow in our agape for the Lord to continue

  91. to pursue our love for the Lord. Amen.

  92. And so.

  93. When you know there's a verse, there's a verse in

  94. First John. I think it's First John four nineteen, First

  95. John four nineteen.

  96. If you turn to your bibles, first John.

  97. Four nineteen, that says we love him first because he

  98. first loved us.

  99. Amen, We loved.

  100. Him first, because he first loved us. I didn't know

  101. Jesus loved me.

  102. I did not come from a Christian family.

  103. I came from a Buddhist background, and then you know,

  104. never really knew much except that that we I would

  105. go and stay with my grandaunt who would take me

  106. to the church, the Catholic church, and then that that

  107. was my exposure. But I didn't know that Jesus loves me.

  108. And he says here that we love him because he

  109. first loved us.

  110. Amen. Hey, when any of you.

  111. Single girls or guys know somebody likes you? Baby, are

  112. a fun you work?

  113. Yeah?

  114. Oh you're it works going everywhere. Oh, somebody likes me.

  115. Don't look like you've never fallen in love before. Don't

  116. give me the look like what are you talking about?

  117. Where Holy really holy people fall in love. We first

  118. love God because he got first Lovedlesess who were able

  119. to respond anyone here knows you fall in love or

  120. when you meet someone, and when someone loves you, you

  121. go like, whoa you like me? Oh?

  122. And we can't.

  123. We could be so and go like yeah, like you do,

  124. even though you don't know that person. All right, you

  125. know when we're young and old as we've fall in

  126. the same trip without asking the Lord whether this is

  127. the person or not, just go for it. Yeah, baby,

  128. come on, all right, But God, we love him because

  129. he first loved us. You're just responding back to someone

  130. who loves you, who gives his life for you, who knows.

  131. You by name.

  132. By the way, you may call yourself apple, Sunshine, Cherry,

  133. by God really knows your name? Is what soon afast

  134. love Kim saying okay, because he knows who you are.

  135. Our names we like to change and have all kinds

  136. of names. But who named Mandarin service? Just call me mailing?

  137. Just now? I'm like, so.

  138. Money, what young mailing?

  139. I'm like because nobody calls me trying to all right,

  140. So I have more Chinese name than my husband has.

  141. He's not Chinese. Okay, all right.

  142. Ah.

  143. So God knows us, he loves us, and we are

  144. able to love him because he first loved us. I

  145. want all of us, if you are believing Christ, he

  146. first loved you. There for you, and I respond to him.

  147. We respond to love. Sammy responded to love, and that's

  148. how he restored I responded, or God touched my life

  149. and I responded, and my life turned around from what

  150. I would have been.

  151. Lost, aimless.

  152. Cannot do anything to someone who found a voice, found

  153. the confidence. That's what Jesus does when he comes into

  154. your life. He first loves you, and you respond, and

  155. just a little bit of love can transform your life,

  156. just like Sammy. I wish we could bring you a

  157. photo of Sammy and show you how he was before

  158. and after. Wow. Big change, big change. Yeah. And so

  159. this is how we love him. We love God because

  160. he first loved us. Secondly, First John for sixteen says,

  161. So how do you love God? He say? Well, for

  162. sixteen says, if you turn to First John for sixteen,

  163. look at your bibles, he says, and we have known

  164. and believed the love that God has for us. We

  165. have known and believed the love that God has for

  166. us how, because God is love, and he who abides

  167. in love abides in God and God in him. So

  168. we love God because God's love is living in us.

  169. When we receive Christ, his love abides in us, and

  170. we abide in him. Hey, guys, God never moves if

  171. we who's the one who moves his earth? So are

  172. you abiding? Are you staying? Because He's abiding in us

  173. and that's why we can love him. Because He's loved

  174. abides in us days us. He never moves, He doesn't, Okay,

  175. So that's why we're saying we love God. Come on,

  176. fellow believers, brother sisters, let us love God and continue

  177. to love Him with all of our heart's minds, our soul,

  178. and our strength. Amen. We can love a lot of things,

  179. but I want to encourage us to love God, especially

  180. those who come and know Him and worship Him. We

  181. can weak out. We do so many things. Most importantly,

  182. do we love God? And how do we love him?

  183. Amen?

  184. So three thoughts for us? Before that, I wanted to

  185. say that love Loving God is a decision. Loving God

  186. is a decision. We choose to love God next night,

  187. and not by how we feel. There are days you

  188. feel like I tabla you, I feel like he let

  189. me down? Oh why? This is why that? But we

  190. have to choose a decision to say, I choose to

  191. love God regardless what has happened. And I've gone through

  192. that own cycle of ups and downs, of failed exams

  193. or a relationship that didn't work out, or this didn't

  194. go someone you know really troubled you, whatever, But no

  195. matter what happens, that is your anchor. That is, I

  196. choose to love God and not how I feel, or

  197. who let me down, or who took my dog or whatever,

  198. who stole my boyfriend. I don't move because of that.

  199. I look at the Christ that hasn't moved, and I

  200. love him regardless how I feel.

  201. Do I get an amen?

  202. Oh? Church, you are too quiet.

  203. And on these here, come on, hold this.

  204. I'm golling it. At least gonna slap me, all right,

  205. the parent's gonna no.

  206. Come on, the church.

  207. You cannot receive God's word if you sit there and

  208. keep quiet. You should be celebrating God's word. Come on, Nicle,

  209. celebrate God's word. Amen? All right? When I know you're name,

  210. it's dangerous, dangerous, amen. But God knows your name, and

  211. I don't know everybody's name, but you are special to him.

  212. He loves you. Amen. So how do we love God? Amen?

  213. Because I say, we choose to love God right, not

  214. about how we feel, but we choose to love you.

  215. I pray that we will be like what Sammis wrote

  216. as the deer pans for the water some forty two,

  217. verse one and two, As the deer pans for the

  218. water so much soul longs after him?

  219. Do we long after God?

  220. Do?

  221. I ask myself? So as I speak, I'm.

  222. Speaking to myself. I ask myself, do I long after God? There?

  223. Do I actually long to sit in His presence? And

  224. I many times I do? I really just sit and

  225. just sit. And other times I'm just adhd cannot sit still? Ayah,

  226. that's my problem, right, I gotta move around and then

  227. cannot sit down and listen for a while. But can

  228. I can do? I thirst for God's presence? Do I

  229. thirst and hunger for His presence, his person? Just being

  230. with the Lord his goodness? Am I first thing after

  231. the Lord? Can you and I say that? Or are

  232. we thirsting for other things to fill the void? The

  233. void that's in our lives? Hey? Man, you think about

  234. a void in your life. You want a better job.

  235. I'm sorry you cannot have a better husband because you're

  236. married already, or better wife you're already married. Love them

  237. and work through the differences. You know, we want this

  238. and want that, but the one person that could actually

  239. fill that void is the Lord himself. But we are

  240. so FIDGETI we have to run here, we have to

  241. run there, We have to do this. We have to

  242. help ourselves. Some of us even give birth to ishmaels

  243. and and have big regrets. But yet God says, don't

  244. live with regrets. What is done is forgiven. Startup brash right. So, hey,

  245. we want to be able to love God. I encourage

  246. us that you might be thinking past of why you're.

  247. Asking me to love God? Aren't I Christian and love God?

  248. Yes? But what's the dosage to give a little bit

  249. like and then expect a lot? A relationship? A relationship.

  250. We all want relationship. Everybody's talking about relationship. But no

  251. relationship happens without the connection. No relationship happens without the Hello,

  252. is it me? You're looking for whatever? All right? You

  253. need to have that connection, and so we've got It's

  254. the same thing. It's parallel in the natural human, human, natural,

  255. and it's parallel in the spiritual. What is spiritual, It's

  256. parallel with the natural. Natural, also parallel with the spiritual.

  257. We need to make the action, we need to have

  258. that relationship. So how do we love God? Number one?

  259. Spend time with him? Not like God is some like,

  260. please spend time with me. No, he's not the you know, like,

  261. please spend time with me, please please joh't soon please, No,

  262. he's not like he's lacking. But he loves your face.

  263. I might not like your face, but he loves your face.

  264. Thank God that he loves you. Might not like my face,

  265. but I know the one person I can run to

  266. and hide and cry is Jesus.

  267. So spending time with him is how you love.

  268. God? Natural or all? Right? How many wives are in

  269. the house? Come on? How many unteasy house? Come on?

  270. Every day?

  271. They'll ask the.

  272. Husband, do you love me? Tell me?

  273. Tell me how much you love me?

  274. My husband say, I told you twenty nine years ago.

  275. Now I forgot it.

  276. No, no, no, to day to day baby, I love you,

  277. thank you, and she's happy. Right. The spending time, the

  278. telling you how much you love that person brings an assurance,

  279. an affirmation. I know it's difficult for any husband every

  280. day tell them wife, yes, baby, I love you, and

  281. you keep telling someone to got you go blah. I

  282. will say to go and thank you. I know, go

  283. go to your right. But but but we want to

  284. hear that, and that's natural to be loved. Okay, to

  285. spend time at least spend time, spend time talking, spend

  286. time sharing your day. But that's the case, like the

  287. women will come home and tell the whole story and

  288. then when I aspect doesn't, so how was your day? Okay?

  289. And okay, more okay, ah, So men have normal words

  290. at the end of the day. Women can still carry on.

  291. She is the energetic bunny. Bunny, the bunny, the energetic buddy, energy,

  292. energized buddy. But the husband say, I finish it on.

  293. My word's gone ready. So so women be assured your

  294. husband loves you. I hope he'll do other things to

  295. show you that he loves you. Right, husband's okay okay,

  296. Dan said, yes, he'd better be doing something for elder

  297. mable Okay, all right, So spending time and we know

  298. that any relationship, Hey, boyfriend, girlfriend, want to spend time

  299. because that's how you feel.

  300. I remember calling my boyfriend.

  301. You know who my boyfriend is? Yeah? Yeah, that time,

  302. no handphone, the dial up phone, didn't call, No I call.

  303. I'm looking back now I feel I'm this desperate woman

  304. looking for husband? Are you? I don't want to call

  305. because he never calls me, and how can Right until

  306. today he never calls me and we're married for.

  307. Twenty nine years.

  308. Recall because once you talk, my finished work? Right?

  309. So nine thirty then he's part picks out the phone.

  310. Uncle, Yes, kenathen sleeping nine thirty, nine thirty pm, he's sleeping.

  311. How do you get to know y?

  312. Not like I can go to day thing.

  313. I'm working, But you want to spend time today? You

  314. go a handphone? Handphone relationship a bit hardler. You're just texting? Right?

  315. Can I malwak and parassa aunts? Right? But you want

  316. to meet? So so I have to wait another day

  317. and try and call mister Chain. Yes, but mister Chain

  318. likes to meet more than talk on the phone. That

  319. habit has not changed. You thought he has a phone,

  320. don't be fooled. It is not a phone. It's a camera.

  321. And mind you, he did not buy it.

  322. The church elders gave him a phone to say, we

  323. want to contact you. So he said, okay, you contact Mila.

  324. Uh my, meanwhile, I take photo then, so rajin to

  325. update the IgA. Why because it's a camera. Yeah, he's

  326. not talking to me. So building relationships, spend time.

  327. Spend time with the Lord.

  328. How talk to him? Talk to him like how you

  329. and I would talk? Really, hold that that one I

  330. do not to see it? Gave you by thank you? Yeah?

  331. I love it? No, I love it. Yeah. We talked

  332. to him like how we would talk to our friends.

  333. But sometimes we feel like this is God. It's so

  334. difficult to talk. But actually Father God wants us to

  335. just talk because he wants to talk. However, when we talk,

  336. we talk so much he couldn't bring a word in. Yeah,

  337. we're talking, talk and talk. So like that I met someone,

  338. I said, so, how you met her?

  339. And then did you talk?

  340. I tried, but the lady didn't let me in, so

  341. I couldn't talk. Say I love my Okay, so we

  342. must talk and also listen, right, A conversation is about

  343. listening and speaking. So would you take some time with

  344. the Lord by talking to him, telling him how you

  345. feel or what you're going through the other way, of

  346. course I have to say. You read this where he

  347. reveals himself. We want to know more about who God is.

  348. Read here and learn about him how he thinks. Did

  349. you know he whistles? Yeah?

  350. Sometimes we didn't know he was.

  351. So do you know that he can laugh? He laughs?

  352. You know he wins? Okay? Find out if he wins?

  353. All right, ask him for guidance, tell him your preferences,

  354. and let him tell you whether it's okay. All right,

  355. But if you talk to men and not to God,

  356. the man cannot give you an eternal answer. But in

  357. the Lord, when you give enough time and you keep,

  358. when you keep consistently meeting up with him, then you

  359. get You get to hear and get recognized. The voice

  360. I couldn't recognize was Kenneth's voice because he and his

  361. father sound the same. Mike Burnie Chin sounded the same,

  362. like an a chin obviously, because there's a son. So

  363. every time I call him, thinking is that uncle or

  364. is it can uncle? No, Kenneth Alama, So it happen

  365. they woth sound they both sound alike. Ah and and

  366. and so the more I call, or the more we meet,

  367. and so I get used to the voice. And so

  368. we talk, and honestly, Church, I might be saying this

  369. to you and it's such a simple thing, but I

  370. think we need it. I think we need to spend

  371. time with God. I'm not saying give up everything. I'm

  372. just saying, you need to spend a good time with

  373. the Lord. Whatever time you choose, spend it with him

  374. just a little bit. Spend it with the Lord. Go

  375. to your room, go to somewhere, go to the park,

  376. garden or whatever, and just shut out for a while,

  377. but be with the Lord, talking to him, reading his word,

  378. asking him for guidance, maybe surrendering something that has been

  379. bothering you, and let God's peace wash over you, let

  380. God's peace direct your path. The only way I find

  381. many times when I'm trouble is to just shut out

  382. the voices and be still and just be with the Lord,

  383. to thirst after him like the deer pans for water.

  384. And I just have to do that, and I realize

  385. I just need it sometimes when I'm a bit lost,

  386. I'm a bit messed up, and you know, days get

  387. so busy, I just feel like I just need time out.

  388. Just nobody talk to me, please, nobody talk to me.

  389. And I just got to go away and be in

  390. a room quiet and just listen to the Lord. Or

  391. I open the word of God and I read it

  392. so that God's word can read me as I read

  393. the word and speak to my circumstances. And many times

  394. God has done that for me. I'm in a learning

  395. journey as well. I can't say I'm there yet, but

  396. I know it really is really beautiful when we get

  397. to spend time with God and let his word restore us.

  398. Number One, spending time with him, Amen, I mean, there's

  399. no better person to spend it with. First God, Loud,

  400. after that, whoever else you like. All Right, spend time

  401. with God. Next one, Obey his word and be a

  402. doer of his word. Amen, obey his word and be

  403. a doer of his word. It's hard sometimes how you obey. Okay,

  404. When you read God's word, he will speak to you.

  405. And many times some of the areas of our lives.

  406. And I find a lot of people suffer and struggle

  407. with forgiveness.

  408. They cannot forgive. But the word of God tells us,

  409. so when you read it, you need to act on it.

  410. If the Lord says give to something, give to somebody,

  411. you read it, you gotta act on it. If the

  412. Lord says go and you act on it, you go go.

  413. Is it to visit someone at the hospital. Is it

  414. make a trip mission trip? Is it to go and

  415. encourage your pastor? Nobody here wants to encouraged pasta. Okay,

  416. come all right, encourage my pastor? Why all right? So

  417. when you obey God's word and you do it, that's

  418. where that's how.

  419. You are loving God. You're obeying love God, right you?

  420. I mean you just God is always going to be

  421. stable there. He never walks out on us. He will hear,

  422. he will speak. We just need to do that word, amen.

  423. I don't know how to explain moms and dads in

  424. the house. Moms and dads. You know your kids sometimes

  425. stare your hair out. Okay, kids, your parents stare your

  426. hair out? All right, never mind, but we don't walk out.

  427. There's still my kid, and I look at you every day.

  428. But you're my child and I still love you, and

  429. we don't walk out. Generally, the general rule. So God

  430. won't even have a general rule. He is there, He

  431. never changes, He has no exceptions. Only for human beings

  432. there will be exceptions, but for God, it's stable.

  433. You read his word.

  434. He speaks to you. Work on it. Is it about forgiveness?

  435. Is it about loving somebody? Is it about being patient

  436. with somebody? Is it about being kind to somebody? Even

  437. God saying, come on, you know my joy is in you.

  438. Stop going looking so down. The joy of the Lord

  439. is your strength. You act on it and say, okay, Lord,

  440. the joy of the Lord, and stop praising you the

  441. obedience and act on it. Man, I've not seen no

  442. results when we've obeyed God and do his word.

  443. I've only seen good results.

  444. You know.

  445. When you love God, it results in you loving people.

  446. That's what the obedience is because you obey his word.

  447. At the end, it has something to do with somebody

  448. and you love God and end up loving people. Want

  449. I just want to encourage you in one spot of

  450. scripture Matthew chapter twenty five, the whole portion. Do you

  451. remember the story about Matthew twenty five? Remember the king

  452. said to the righteous, come and inherit the kingdom, and

  453. the righteous and the rights are sitting there listening. Yes,

  454. come in inherit kingdom. Because every time someone was hungry,

  455. you fed that person. When that person was naked, you

  456. cloth when that person was in prison, You visited him.

  457. When that person was sick. You went to care for

  458. that person. And this righteous said Matthew twenty five says,

  459. since when did I see you, Lord? When did I

  460. see you naked? When did I see you hungry? When

  461. did I see you in need of cloth? And the

  462. Lord said, when you've done it to the least of them,

  463. you have done it to me.

  464. I'll encourage us.

  465. Church. Sometimes we represent you as a whole church. We've

  466. done stuff for the refugees, the families, the individuals. They're

  467. the least sometimes because they cannot help themselves, and so

  468. we take the funds that we have from your giving

  469. and we bless them. Maybe one day you will meet

  470. somebody in heaven will say thank you so much for

  471. giving to the Lord, because we gave to the least.

  472. You didn't even know that you gave that person an

  473. opportunity to have an education. You didn't know your prayer

  474. when further than when you started. All Jesus is saying you,

  475. when you did it to that person, you didn't even know.

  476. But you did it unto me everything.

  477. Every time we do something unto the Lord, you did

  478. it out of Sometimes obedience, you hurt the word and

  479. you just do it. Other times out of just that

  480. the fruit of the spirit, kindness, and you do it.

  481. Sometimes you don't know why you're doing it, but you

  482. do it. Why, you know, some of you nobody say

  483. thank you to you. We've gotta stop living for thank

  484. yous from people. Come on ten thirty, anybody in the house.

  485. Oh man, when you come to church, you should be happy. Jason,

  486. give me a smile. Jason soon, Yeah, missus soon or

  487. so yeah? All right? Yeah.

  488. You know, God just says to us, the least you've

  489. done it.

  490. So the action that you've done, you obey, you do it,

  491. a result will come love God, love people. That's the obedience.

  492. I don't know what we are going through, but I know,

  493. having served so long that many believers, many good Christians,

  494. suffer with unforgiveness. We cannot forgive, we cannot forgive. We

  495. cannot forgive our father, we cannot forgive our dog, we

  496. cannot forgive our friend, we cannot forgive our boss because

  497. they hurt me. And it's very real, it's very very real.

  498. But yet every time the Bible teaches us, tells us,

  499. as I forgive, you, forgive this person, it's Okay, you

  500. forgive us. God will take you the next step and

  501. he will open other doors for you. You don't have

  502. to be BFF with that person forever. Best friends forever. Yes,

  503. that's what BFF means. Be best friends for ever. No no, no,

  504. just be friend. Forgive. You need space, you need to grow,

  505. you need to deal with differentlys. But as God speaks,

  506. you obey. That's how you love God. That's how we

  507. love God. When God tells us, we do it, we

  508. love him. When I do something, I because I love God.

  509. That's why I do it. Why do I go out

  510. for missions? Because I love God? And I do it

  511. because I hurt the heart that he says there's a

  512. group of people who need to be encouraged, and we go. Amen.

  513. Why do we do so many things that our church

  514. gets opportunity to do, and though don't feel like it's

  515. too much, because there will be a day when there's

  516. nothing else to do, then we can't do it anymore.

  517. Do what we can well, while there's day, do what

  518. we can to obey Him, to love him so that

  519. others may see the love of God through your life. Amen.

  520. So it's so true. I just I could only see

  521. God's love through God and Doris. I couldn't. I told Doris, Doris,

  522. I do not have the grace to take care of

  523. a Okay, you child, I don't know how. I don't

  524. even have the ability, but you do. I don't know how.

  525. I just don't know. But she did it out of love.

  526. Sometimes there's some things you would just do it without

  527. nobody's gonna thank you, nobody's gonna remember your name. Sometimes

  528. we help people we don't even remember our names. They

  529. don't know who we are, but we just do it.

  530. When God says, give give that amount, give that table,

  531. give that back, give that bud you, or give yourself whatever,

  532. and you just give because you heard the Lord say

  533. that to you. When whenever it involves nothing about yourself

  534. and it goes to somebody else, that's a good thing.

  535. But when every time you're fighting for yourself, that may

  536. not always be a good thing, because then we're just

  537. thinking about ourselves. The Lord always leads us like himself.

  538. He first gave, he first loved, and we learned giving

  539. from the Lord. We love God as he loves us. Amen.

  540. Thirdly, how do we love God?

  541. The third point is be thankful and serve him. My judge,

  542. be thankful and love God. I think complaining is not

  543. loving God. Complaining he's telling God about another brother or

  544. sister who was made the image of God. How useless

  545. that person is. I tell you what the arena complainer

  546. you're saying. I'm thankful for it. Brother, I'm thankful. And

  547. even though I'm upset because you didn't count all the sticks,

  548. it's okay. Don't you don't complain, be thankful for what

  549. you see, and serve the lot because if you are not,

  550. if you you you don't have to put your energy

  551. somewhere to serve, then you will continue to be very

  552. unhappy about everything because there's no energy to do something,

  553. because then your mind will no longer be thinking about that.

  554. I'm unhappy. I'm happy. Then you think, oh I got

  555. to you know, go and teach English to refuge kids.

  556. Oh I'm going to clean up the.

  557. Church today, yole the church. Yes, we do that and

  558. got the communing. We have to clean the church, not

  559. the judge. When we clean, so the homes will take

  560. turns to clean the church. Or today I've gotta, you know,

  561. go and play guitar for the worship band. Today, I've

  562. gotta go for Taylor's apple, or I'm gonna visit someone

  563. in the hospital. I'm gonna go, you know, do something tonight.

  564. Maybe there's that what meat autumn? Somebody happening. Ok but

  565. if you speak anto, you can come. La ya la

  566. yah layah. Got moon cake to eat? Okay, all right,

  567. so be thankful. How do you love God? And she

  568. God does not like complaining. He really despises. Read it

  569. in the Book of Exodus. I don't know if I've

  570. preached that word. Do you hear? But I've done in

  571. other services, got that bolt to hunt people complaining. He

  572. will listen. He will listen. Fair enough, you are being

  573. you know, mistreated. He will here and you will deliver.

  574. But after he used delivers and then everything, and you

  575. still complain. I asked for meat, God give you meat,

  576. and you're like, but I did not ask for quail.

  577. I want the key. Then there's God ungrateful?

  578. Ready? Right?

  579. Your parent will know? Right the charldis I want handphone?

  580. What if I is a hendphone and the child is dead?

  581. I give you the headphone. No, I didn't want to

  582. stand song. I wanted in apple. Maybe we were still like, hello,

  583. that's a phone smack him, right, am, I should we

  584. smack him? Not sure?

  585. Okay?

  586. All right, so we asked a younger person to ask

  587. you we smacked the person. Okay, No, be thankful and

  588. serve the Lord. Don't complain because we will spew negativity

  589. and that will hurt us more. It will not help

  590. the environment that we're in. Amen. Love God, love him more.

  591. It's a privilege to love the Lord. I ask yourself,

  592. answer seriously. One day we're all going to have to

  593. meet Jesus. I'm just preparing you and me for that.

  594. If you love the Lord, you will do what he's

  595. asking you to do. If you are not sure, if

  596. you love the Lord, now it's a good day today

  597. to say, Lord, have I really been loving you? Or

  598. have I been loving me? Because I just want you

  599. to do what I see. Then that's not loving God,

  600. that's loving me. We all get there. We all get there.

  601. Nobody's perfect. We're learning. Amen. So three points again, spend

  602. three points spending time with the Lord, talking with him,

  603. reading his word, praying like, bringing needs to him, asking

  604. him for direction, you know, listening to the Lord as

  605. you'll be still and know that he's God, receiving God's

  606. word divine word for you for every different circumstance. That's

  607. one way. Obey his word and be a doer of

  608. that word. Don't just listen and go away, but listen, obey,

  609. and do it. Then it will bear fruit.

  610. And thirdly, be.

  611. Thankful and serve the Lord. Guys, don't stop serving the

  612. law wherever you are served the Lord. And then serving

  613. the Lord doesn't only mean in these four walls. But

  614. whenever the Lord asks you to do something you know,

  615. serve him. Do it for the Lord, don't do it

  616. for anybody else. Serve the Lord. But the Lord does

  617. give you the church in which you can start to serve.

  618. That's how he works. Don't hate the church. Church is

  619. a good place. Jesus walked to the Synegogue. First thing

  620. he comes into any town. He loves the church. He

  621. started the church, not me. He love the church and

  622. love God to work through you and be a blessing.

  623. Remember love God first, and then love your neighbor. But

  624. we cannot love our neighbor if we didn't know God's

  625. love and how much he loves us, so that we

  626. can outflow his love to our neighbor. That's the second commandment. Now,

  627. question for you. What could hinder you do not love God?

  628. Easy light, I think you're no answer.

  629. What could hinder you by?

  630. I don't have postcod to give you anyway?

  631. What could hinder you do not love God?

  632. What would be? What? I came out with three thoughts?

  633. First John two fifteen. First John two fifteen Love for

  634. the world? Wow, it says John to fifteen. Do not

  635. love the world or the things in the world. If

  636. anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is

  637. not in him. Amen. Okay again, if you have your Bibles,

  638. turn to the scripture verse fifteen, chapter two of First John.

  639. Do not love the world all the things in the world.

  640. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father

  641. is not in him. Now, the world is a good world.

  642. It's a good God created the world. But to love

  643. the things of this world, to love the world? I

  644. think it was the James Bond movid that says the

  645. world is not enough? Was it oldies? Sorry, more mature

  646. people here? That was born after? Okay, all right, before

  647. nineteen ninety all right, do not love the world but

  648. to love God. Do not love the world and the

  649. things of the world. Then we get so distracted by

  650. what the world dictates. Then we forgot God's love in

  651. us already because we're just chasing after what it is

  652. in the ways of the world. And many of us

  653. have grown up in the ways of this world before

  654. we knew Christ. But once we know Christ, we begin

  655. to learn, Oh, there's a better way to do something,

  656. There's a better way to forgive somebody. It's a bad

  657. you know, how do I bridge the gap? So God

  658. is saying, if the love for this world is in us,

  659. then the love for the Father is not in us.

  660. So we have to watch our heart. What are we loving?

  661. All right?

  662. Secondly, Matthew six twenty four says, if there's two masters,

  663. we cannot serve two masters.

  664. You can't.

  665. No in nothing can you do that? You have to

  666. be split right, So in Mark six twenty four, Mark

  667. six twenty four says, no one can serve two masters.

  668. Either you'll hate one and love the other, or you'll

  669. be loyal to the one and then despise the other,

  670. And you can't serve God and Mammon, So who is

  671. your master? Church? Who is our master? We have to

  672. honestly answer ourselves. Is sometimes I have to ask myself

  673. when I had a pet dog, my Golden retriever? Where

  674. do she was my master? Oh? God? Because I wake

  675. up early in the morning.

  676. What I do? Go and look for my.

  677. Doggy first to make sure she's okay? And then I

  678. have one pastor. One pastor said to me, when you

  679. have a pet, dot, God will become second. No, la

  680. are you but true? Of course I wake up the

  681. morning I didn't see morning.

  682. She's like, was it good morning?

  683. Spring? Yeah? You know you want you spend on time

  684. on her, make sure everything's okay. Then go and do

  685. quiet time. Runther than do quiet time for just saying

  686. this is yoke? All right, all right? I mean I

  687. really will give my attention to my dog for sticket.

  688. It's so cute, right, the dog, Golden Retriever, beautiful dog.

  689. So I can't sup the masters?

  690. Who's my master?

  691. At the end? How do I prioritize more priority? Not

  692. that money is bad or evil, it's our priority. What

  693. are we what are we making as our master? What

  694. makes us take the Lord or Mammon or the world?

  695. The love for the things of this world? These are

  696. things that can hinder us from loving God fullheartedly. Thirdly,

  697. our first love. If we lose our first love is

  698. God our first Love's very fine line.

  699. Right, If my husband asked me you love me?

  700. Yes, am I number one? No, Jesus is my number one,

  701. he has to be okay with that, right, But who

  702. is my first love? My ministry can be my first love.

  703. I'm involving ministry, I mean full time ministry. Ministry can

  704. even take that attention away from actually me spending time

  705. with God. And I'll say, no, no, I got to

  706. go and minister to repers. No, no, no, I gotta do. This

  707. is ministry. Then I put the concern and love for

  708. God second, without knowing because perhaps I defined myself by

  709. what I do, but actually my definition comes from the

  710. very image of God who made me. So I've got

  711. to go back to the maker, my creator, and walk

  712. with Jesus first before I do the work that I do. Amen,

  713. the loss of our first love Revelations two and verse four.

  714. You know the apostle John spoke these words from the Lord. Actually,

  715. the Lord spoke to the church in Ephesus and reminded

  716. the church that you do not lose your first love.

  717. The church in Ephesus lost their first love for the Lord.

  718. I yeah, Amen, I may have got the wrong verse step.

  719. But Ephesus, oh, I'm not looking at revelations all right,

  720. Revelations two for it says, nevertheless, I have this against you,

  721. that you have left your first love. They did everything,

  722. they were busy, they were serving, they were doing all

  723. things they despise evil, but their first love the end.

  724. Were they coming to spend time with God? Were they

  725. putting in first in their private lives when nobody sees?

  726. Was He first in their lives? Or was something else

  727. taking that place?

  728. Amen?

  729. And that is a good reminder to check ourselves. Firstly,

  730. is the love for this world greater than the love

  731. of God. We are living in planet Earth life. We

  732. have the world, God love, soul, love the world, God

  733. agape the world. The world is not bad, but the

  734. things of this world what represents the world the systems,

  735. And we are so used to following the systems that

  736. we're not aware that this is only partial. The real

  737. things of God matter more, and we need to be

  738. able to discern and so partly of that. That's why

  739. we gather as a fellowship of believers to learn what

  740. is important and what isn't to be aware, Yes we can,

  741. we can. We are in the world system the financial

  742. world system. But we got to be aware when the

  743. time will come, we can't just go with the system.

  744. We know what God's worth is saying right.

  745. So firstly check our hearts on that number two.

  746. Who is our master? Is it Jesus or my job

  747. or memon or the things that represent money? Are we

  748. chasing after money? And I know a lot of well

  749. meaning people who say no, I need to work wherever heart.

  750. And not only do you lose sight of God, you

  751. lose sight of your family. You lose of spending time

  752. with your children, or you lose of spending time with

  753. Mom and Dad, your own parents, because we just chasing

  754. after something else. Is it fame? Is it whatever that is?

  755. You can't have two masters. You must decide who is

  756. your master. If we are to love God, then he

  757. has to be the master. Jesus is our master, Amen,

  758. and thirdly, God our hearts.

  759. From losing our first love, anyone will know that.

  760. Anyone will know that if my husband forgets me, I

  761. will be very upset. If he celebrates another one of

  762. my friend's birthday or our somebody and he forgets mine,

  763. I think I'm not his first love anymore, not his

  764. first love, but you know, the one that he loves

  765. because your attention is somewhere else. Again, I say, all

  766. truth is parallel between the spiritual and a natural, natural

  767. and the spiritual. It happens, it's parallel. So we have

  768. to be aware. Have we lost our first love? Do

  769. we drag our feet for the things of God? Like church,

  770. like prayer, like homes, like Bible reading, like visiting someone

  771. who's not well our home meet, like doing the good

  772. works that He asks us to do. Are we dragging

  773. our feet to even wake up? Or maybe we're more

  774. happier to say, oh, there's a picnic and we're going

  775. hiking and picnic.

  776. That that is our love.

  777. I mean, it's natural and I got to watch that.

  778. I even have to watch it. I'm so excitedly we're

  779. gonna do this. I'm so excited about a mission trip.

  780. But not the God who gave me the opportunity to

  781. go for the mission trip, the God who gave me

  782. the friends that I could go hiking with. But I

  783. would still making my first attention and priority. Where's my

  784. first love? My first love? There was a song along

  785. that I watch, a Christian song.

  786. You know first love? Where my heart?

  787. What does my heart long for Does my heart long

  788. for the Lord or does it long for something else?

  789. What is your heart pining for? These are? These are

  790. things that you know inmbascination with pangelny basic Bisic KHANHATI.

  791. What stirs in your heart? What is it that's speaking

  792. to you in your heart? Only you know? But I'm

  793. only bringing this across because we are here to build

  794. the church, to encourage the saints to get ready for

  795. the coming of the Lord, and to finish the work

  796. that God has started to win the loss. We're only

  797. doing church planting only because God told us to go

  798. to that place and do that country or whatever. Not

  799. doing because we want to be famous. We're not famous

  800. or nothing else better to do. What's God saying to

  801. your heart as the individual? What's God saying to you

  802. saying to us as a church? And I'm scared, I'm

  803. I'm When I say scared, I'm concerned. Why do I

  804. come up with the speaking to the church about reading

  805. the Bible Because there is a drop, there is a

  806. dis engagement with reading the Word of God, because if

  807. people read the word of God, we would live how

  808. God wants us to live. Instead, we are facing a

  809. lot more challenges when we could have found our answers

  810. through the Lord's ministry. So I am speaking to us

  811. not because I'm better, I myself am learning and seeing

  812. how God wants to work in our lives. And so

  813. I ask you, implore you church, love God. If you

  814. if you never got a chance to love Jesus, I

  815. invite you to come and walk with Him, let Him

  816. come into your life and do amazing restoration in your life.

  817. Amazing you know, stirring of your heart to just cause

  818. you to wow. Wake up every day. I wake up

  819. every day with the yay, all right, I'm tired. I'm

  820. literally I've got jet leg I'm tired. But I do

  821. wake up every day. Yay. There's laundry to do, right,

  822. I mean, but there's this expectation that tomorrow is something else.

  823. But today I must do what I have to do today.

  824. So I live my life twenty four hours full one

  825. full one sleep, sleep full, eat, eat ful, do, do

  826. work full, love, fool, forgive fool. When you have struggles,

  827. sit at the feet of the Lord and let him

  828. bring peace into that struggle. Things may not go our way.

  829. And I want to say this to us, believe us

  830. be loved of the Lord.

  831. If we want to truly love.

  832. God, Okay, hear me out, don't throw stones at me.

  833. If we want to truly love God and trust him,

  834. listen to the voice, my voice. We must stop insisting

  835. that God explains himself to us until we are satisfied.

  836. In our secret heart.

  837. That's what we want. You tell me, Jesus, why there

  838. is femine in the lend you No, I cannot believe you.

  839. You tell me, Jesus, why why marriage to this? Come back?

  840. Some we were saying dead.

  841. If you don't answer me, I cannot believe.

  842. You and I cannot trust you.

  843. That's what we're saying. You tell me first, Jesus, why

  844. I'm in this lend I want to migrate Love, tell

  845. me firs before I will trust you. Believe us and

  846. beloved of the Lord. If we truly want to love God,

  847. if you truly want to trust Him, then we must

  848. abandon this. Prove yourself to me. Because I realized as

  849. I read this.

  850. Statement, it's true.

  851. That's what we're saying to God. Tell me before, I

  852. trust you. And we demanded of God unknowingly at the back,

  853. and that's why we get stuck and not growing, tell

  854. me first, show me the money of us that I'll go.

  855. But God doesn't work that way.

  856. We trust him, we trust it.

  857. If he said this is the way to go, we go.

  858. If he said, forgive your mom, who has done this

  859. to you, you don't say no, you prove it to

  860. me first. Now why I should forgive her? You do

  861. know what you're talking about. God's saying, would you trust me?

  862. We must come to that place of abandonment, abandon ourselves

  863. to love God for who he is? Can you imagine

  864. I would say to the Lord and you would say,

  865. can you love me for who I am? Right? I

  866. see all these young lovers you know, Oh yo, he

  867. loves me for who I am. He accepts me. How

  868. about accepting God for who he is? Because he's God.

  869. He's not your friend like from the Bronx. No, he's

  870. gone and he chose to be your friend. He came

  871. from heaven to earth. He came to walk as a

  872. man to be our friend. To feel the pain that

  873. we would go, the lag, the challenge, the temptation, everything.

  874. Can we accept God as he is and stop putting

  875. the challenge?

  876. I know so many people say, explain to me these

  877. Dad is there.

  878. I'm not a deef. No, I want to those what's

  879. that word collar apologetics? I don't apologize for Jesus.

  880. He's Jesus, He's God.

  881. Why should I apologize for him? You cannot accept him

  882. too bad? Speak to him when you meet him in heaven.

  883. Let's me like course, I'm simple minded, right. I cannot

  884. talk big Wordsir. He can heal you in Jesus name

  885. out you go, your unclean spirit done? But if you

  886. cannot accept that, something I can do.

  887. Oh.

  888. I'm saying if in human sense you ask me, Master,

  889. can you accept me as fam Yes? I do really

  890. accept it? You are you tell your lover? Can you

  891. accept me as I am? I'm so tall, six foot

  892. three you are only five foot three? Okay, I accept you?

  893. Can you accept me?

  894. This? This is what I'm doing. This is my job

  895. and you are CEO. I'm just oh our God, frand sisters.

  896. Have we accepted God for who he is? He is God?

  897. Full stop? If he wants to rain, his heaven is

  898. crying so that the earth can have water to water

  899. the plants. And then you say, lousy God, why you

  900. make it rain? I have an appointment? You know my

  901. dress now wet. Really, he's God. He wants to water

  902. the earth.

  903. Give water to the plants.

  904. This is business. Why do we keep asking God to

  905. explain himself? I think we do that all the time.

  906. You and I are not ready to abandon ourselves and

  907. accept that He will take care of us and that

  908. his choices for us are perfect, and we have to

  909. trust him. We have to crucify our rights and our

  910. pride because we keep wanting to approve God first. But

  911. if we are willing to surrender that and to recognize

  912. that God alone is worthy of our praise, of our worship,

  913. our glory belongs to him, never to us. That's how

  914. you love God. When you give God back the glory.

  915. You just you give him back the glory all the time.

  916. That's how you love God. When you surrender and say

  917. I don't understand Lord. I won't ask you why. I'll

  918. just say thank you, Lord, teach me, lead me, show

  919. me your ways, and teach me. Amen. You know I

  920. counted a privilege to know God and to love him

  921. and to serve him. Do you counted a privilege that

  922. God knows your name? Sometimes you and I are so

  923. star struck by the big time names. They don't even

  924. know your name, but we like dressed up all dancree. Oh,

  925. I don't know whatever names you Arena Billie Eilishua.

  926. I went for a concert.

  927. Like we we we think the whole deck wasn't hand

  928. and get touched by the Pope. Sorry if you went

  929. and I missed it, he wasn't sinkapore. But we seldom

  930. come and say, Lord, the King of Kings, the Lord

  931. above our Lord, the master of the universe, thank you.

  932. I can shake your handy and I come under your

  933. wing of protection. Thank you for just loving me with

  934. all my nonsense, for giving me when I failed a

  935. hundred times. Do we counted the privilege that were even

  936. called a son of God, a daughter of God, that

  937. he's my heavenly father. Do we wait to hold God's

  938. hand and ask him to bless us? But he says

  939. so many times we catch ourselves wanting recognition from someone else,

  940. recognition and being thanked and appreciated, when we actually already

  941. serve the most high God. What a privilege to know God?

  942. To all believe us in the house or follow us

  943. of Christ or disciples of Christ, if you choose to

  944. be a disciple of Christ. What a privilege to love him,

  945. What a privilege to serve God. What a joy. We

  946. want all to touch everybody else, But do we touch God?

  947. And He is made real to us through Christ Jesus,

  948. Amen and all. I want to say those fine ways

  949. that you can love God and experience his love for yourself.

  950. He first loved us, He first gave his son for us.

  951. He first reached out and called my name, that I

  952. could reach and take hold of his hand to have

  953. a new life. I am grateful. I don't always show

  954. it to God. I don't always say thank you Jesus.

  955. But I'm awakened within me to thirst after the Lord,

  956. to thirst for him and to love him. By what

  957. represents church. We are all looking people who have no faith.

  958. Why do they like the Eastern religions? Because it's touch,

  959. it's routine, it's put the jawstick, it's going home somewhere.

  960. You know you want that. Yet God gives us the

  961. freedom to come to him, and the only you know that.

  962. He just says, come early morning, seek me, or at

  963. night or in the afternoon, Come any time, but come

  964. in reverence to our God, pay him revery and reverential love, honor,

  965. and just awe loving him, and I feel we forget that.

  966. So I'm bringing this as a voice from God's heart

  967. to remind us. As much as you know how much

  968. God loves you, you also have the opportunity to love God,

  969. to serve him, to obey him, to make him your master.

  970. I don't just call him lord, I call him master.

  971. He's my master. I am the one who serves him.

  972. And yet he doesn't call me servant. He calls me friend. Wow,

  973. friend Wall, you won't call me friendly? Am I my

  974. your friend? Or she dares say, ah, am I your friend?

  975. I don't know, right, Am I your friend?

  976. But God calls me friend Wall.

  977. That's the privilege, Amen, That's the privilege. Time up and overrun, Hallelujah.

  978. Fall in love with Jesus Church. We can fall in

  979. love with any guy, girls or guys any girl, but

  980. keep in mind you can fall in love with Jesus.

  981. Privilege to be loved by him and to love him,

  982. Privilege to serve him. Privilege to we call the child

  983. of God just so privilege. Don't ever look down on

  984. who you are as a child of God and what

  985. impact you can make on this side of heaven doing

  986. everything you can't make an impact whatever you're doing right

  987. now in your marketplace, in your.

  988. Family, in your church.

  989. I tell you, on this side of heaven, because you're

  990. a child of God and you love God, we can

  991. make impact positively to encourage somebody else and to really

  992. just love God and bring something from that loving Him

  993. to bless somebody. Amen. And so I'm going to ask

  994. us to stand, and as we close today, I don't

  995. think anyone should have their hands hung down, but you

  996. should be so lifted up to the Lord and say God,

  997. I want to love you. And if you think you

  998. still have time and you still want to mess around

  999. with your life and hide and just do things, don't

1000. want to account for it. I just want to speak

1001. the truth. God is still knocking at the door of

1002. your heart, both to believe us and if you're not

1003. yet known Christ, He's still knocking at the door of

1004. our hearts. Because God loves you with an eternal love,

1005. and He accepts you as you are, more than anyone

1006. on deserve. He accepts me more as I am than

1007. my husband will ever accept me.

1008. I tell you that your parents.

1009. Will not accept you as you as much as God

1010. God will accept you for who you are, because there

1011. will always be expectations that I can never meet. Before man,

1012. before you, I will never meet that expectation. I can

1013. never meet the expectations of my mom. But God takes

1014. me as I am. He takes you as you are,

1015. how you feel, how you look, how you do life.

1016. He takes you as you are. Would you take God

1017. as he is? He is God who reigns over the

1018. heavens and the earth. Yet he would come down to

1019. you you. He knows your name, He knows your secrets,

1020. whether it be the heart cry or whether it be

1021. a sin. Please, Church, bring it before the Lord before

1022. you don't have an opportunity to do it, do it now.

1023. Do it in this ability to reflect, to give thanks

1024. to God. Find your own faith if you haven't found

1025. your faith because nobody is a Christian just by birth.

1026. You are Christian because you follow Christ. And it's powerful

1027. when you know Christ for yourself, not because of your

1028. grandfather the Bishop. No, you you make Christ the Lord

1029. the master. You can't serve two masters. You can only

1030. serve one fellow, belivered of the Lord. If we lost

1031. our first love, today's a great day to come home

1032. to Jesus. He's our first love. You've been struggling with

1033. different things, which you let it down and just look

1034. to Jesus. Talk to him. Say Lord, teach me, how

1035. teach me? Lord, show me your ways, because your ways

1036. are higher, your thoughts are higher, and I want to

1037. follow your way. Thank you Jesus. Come on, let's look

1038. to Jesus this morning. Hallelujah. We're loving God. We just

1039. want to love God. Amen, Hellelujah, Thank you Lord, Thank

  1040. you Jesus.

1041. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
