  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. I want to speak to you this morning about this.

  4. Let's put the title up x TV. You don't mind.

  5. This is the title for our message today and I

  6. hope to encourage you. Oh. As I turned on my iPad,

  7. I see my wife talking to me. She says, how

  8. are you? I said, I'm fine. Better report that she

  9. reprised again. Okay, all right, yeah, Sandra, I'm working for Jesus.

  10. Now speak to the Lord. Okay, no, no, no examples, okay, examples.

  11. So I had two messages. One was prepared much earlier

  12. about faith, and this one I just received from the

  13. Lord last week. It's been something that he's been speaking

  14. to me about for years now, but he put it

  15. on my heart, especially because when I was doing my

  16. quiet time last week, I came to First Corinthians ten,

  17. which we will turn to in a bit. First Corientians

  18. ten we're going to read verses one to eleven. But

  19. I came to that, you know, and now I'm no

  20. longer in First Corinthians. I have just gone into Second

  21. Corinthians in my current quiet time reading. But let's go

  22. back to about a week ago where it was First

  23. Corentians ten for me, and when I read it, I've

  24. heard the Lord saying to me, I want you to

  25. encourage my church before the year comes to a close

  26. about a thought that they need to either know for

  27. the first time or to be reminded what life is

  28. really all about. So let's read the word of God

  29. in First Corinthians ten, and let's see what the Lord

  30. wants to say to us. Where'st what. Moreover, brethren, I

  31. do not want you to be unaware that all our

  32. fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea,

  33. all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in

  34. the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all

  35. drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that

  36. spiritual rock Hallelujah, that followed them, and that rock was Christ.

  37. But with most of them, God was not well pleased.

  38. This is an ouch moment. This is a sad part

  39. of history. Most of them, the Bible says, not just

  40. some of them, most of them, God was not well pleased.

  41. Some of you know that our lives, especially as Christians,

  42. have one goal, and that is to please God. We

  43. want to please God. We want to put us big

  44. smile on the face of Papa God right, our father

  45. in heaven. But the people of the past were not

  46. able to do that. Their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. Ver. Six.

  47. Now these things became our examples, or there you go,

  48. first mention of the word examples. These things became our

  49. examples to the intent that we should not last after

  50. evil things, as they also lasted, and do not become

  51. idolatous as were some of them. As it is written,

  52. the people sat down to eat and drink and rose

  53. up to play. Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as

  54. some of them did, and in one day, twenty three

  55. thousand fell. That's a lot of people. No let us

  56. temp Christ as some of them also tempted and were

  57. destroyed by serpents. Nor complain as some of them also

  58. complained and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now all these

  59. things Verse eleven says happened to them as example. Is

  60. a second time we're seeing the word examples. And they

  61. were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of

  62. the ages have come. Two times is mentioned in scripture examples,

  63. and that everything was done, everything happened, everything was written

  64. for our example. So, brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen,

  65. if I hold up this Bible now and from Genesis

  66. to First Corinthians ten, the author, which is Paul, Paul

  67. the apostle who wrote Corinthians, is saying that everything from

  68. Genesis to First Korethians ten was written for our example.

  69. If I asked you for our one word definition, one

  70. word summary of this Bible that you and I follow

  71. after with our lives, it is our example example example.

  72. That also probably means that everything from First Corinthians ten

  73. to today and every other day after is for example.

  74. And if you think about that for a moment, you

  75. will realize that the summary of your life and mind,

  76. our vision, our mission, our goal, our aim is to

  77. live an exemplary life. And I pray that that will

  78. help you with your living every day as it has

  79. helped me. The reason why I wake up early in

  80. the morning you spend time with God. The reason why

  81. I treat my wife the way I treat her, The

  82. reason why we do church the way we do church.

  83. The reason why I planted another church at fifty two

  84. when I should be retiring, The reason why almost everything

  85. In fact, right now, I'm doing my doctorate, as some

  86. of you know, is a DBA that I'm being offered

  87. from and by help University, and I'm in the middle

  88. of my thesis now. Just finish my chapter two, which

  89. was the hardest for me because his literature review means

  90. I have to read other people's literature and it's heard.

  91. It's very hard. But the Lord told me, Kenneth, I'm

  92. going to make you an example that it can be done.

  93. It can be done. With God, all things are possible.

  94. So don't retire to early, don't die too young. All right.

  95. If God has given you life, there is a reason,

  96. there is a purpose, and that is to be an example,

  97. being an example when you are a teenager, be an

  98. example when you are young working aout, be an example

  99. when your grandparent. Every stage in life is to be

  100. lived for the glory of God. And if you believe it,

  101. say amen, do all things with that vision, do all

  102. things with that mission, do all things with that spirit

  103. that attitude. Okay, so let's go to the slides now,

  104. because if I don't go to the slides, it might

  105. take an hour and a half. But I'm going to

  106. try to be guided by the slides because the stories

  107. are plentiful, and I want to encourage all of you

  108. to live your life well. And if there's any question

  109. you can't answer, just answer and say it is for

  110. example's sake, Why are you doing this to your wife?

  111. It is for example, say I want to show my

  112. children how to treat a woman. Why are you doing

  113. this to your husband? I want to show the young

  114. people all around me, this is the way you treat

  115. a man. Why are you doing this to church? I

  116. want to show the world that this is how you

  117. honor God. Why do you give your offering like that?

  118. I want to show that, you know, even though I

  119. have very little in my pocket, I can still give

  120. God my everything. A lot of people are complaining these days.

  121. I don't know why my children in this way, you know,

  122. I sometimes want to ask them to look look in

  123. the mirror of But I think it's all fair. It's

  124. always fair to say that, right, because children, as they

  125. grow up, they have their own decisions. But I'll tell

  126. you a lot of it has got to do with

  127. that that somewhere, somehow someone modeled something to some young

  128. person and they thought that that was the way. Hey, listen,

  129. whether you are a good example or a bad example.

  130. You are still an example. You and me we are

  131. examples whether it can be done or it can be done.

  132. You and I are examples of yes or no. Anybody okay,

  133. we are all examples of with God, all things are

  134. possible or with God it's not possible even with God.

  135. Next Light says, everything is about example in life, really

  136. everything the whole Bible, whole Bible, all the way. Now,

  137. let me go from Genesis to Revelations and every day

  138. of our life. It's about example. How you stay in

  139. this church is an example. If you're going to stay

  140. in this church, be an example of how and why

  141. you stay. Give your best. Don't have half half hearted

  142. you know attitude. If you're gonna be staying, stay and

  143. give an example. If you're going to be going, it's okay,

  144. go with an example, because opportunities are given to us.

  145. You know, I left FGA to help SIB, and I

  146. was SIB's first youth pastor. As I be that time

  147. was eighty people. Now there are probably eight thousand, but

  148. I was there first youth pastor. I want to make

  149. sure that when I left FGA, I left with an example,

  150. and that's why I get called back to speak. I

  151. spoke in FJKL two weeks three weeks ago, this is

  152. very important. And then when I left SIB to start

  153. ex church, leave with an example. Oh it's so important, guys,

  154. I need to understand. It's not about he's bad, she's good. No,

  155. it's about your example. You want to show people that

  156. you can do it and do it well. You want

  157. to stay in your company, be the best staff, be

  158. the best. Don't be there complaining and still want to

  159. collect a salary. But if you want to leave your company,

  160. leave well, leave well. Daniel Trunk. Trunk just told me

  161. his boss ask him Jes last week, Daniel, are you

  162. happy where you are because your job is still available?

  163. He's a really left one, you Sunway. Once we write

  164. him back, he says, achieve very happy. I'm fulfilling. He says, okay, anyway,

  165. Sunway is celebrating our Christmas stuff, Christmas lunch. Come back

  166. and have lunch with us. Because he left well, he

  167. left very well. He told me. The testimony of how

  168. he left. Is this important. It's not just about you

  169. frustrated and angry and therefore one to throw you know,

  170. the dustiness your your enemy that you know, it is

  171. about hold on a minute in good times in bad times.

  172. My life is to be lived as an example. Okay,

  173. let's move on. Let's move on. Oh where did my

  174. notes go to? All right, here we go next light.

  175. This says everything is possible as long as they are examples.

  176. When I when I travel the country, I realize which

  177. have a church I go to? Nineteen nine percent of

  178. the churches have got problems. And I'll give you just

  179. an example, have problems with young families not serving the lot. Okay,

  180. So I go and then the pastor will tell me, oh,

  181. pasta kendeth, we don't have young people. Our teenagers are

  182. gone by form five, Form five finish, they're all gone. Okay,

  183. you're talking about a lostar. We're talking about you know,

  184. all these small towns gone. They're God, they're gone because

  185. they go to kl for studies. They go to p there,

  186. maybe Singapore sometimes and some overseas, but mainly these areas.

  187. And so they don't have young people serving. They don't

  188. have campus students for sure, and young okay, doubts usually

  189. are not there also because they find jobs here. Okay,

  190. So churches are closing down, folks, I want to tell

  191. you right now, I've got news from the ground that

  192. even in Pahang itself, so many churches close down Allo

  193. Star up North Kada. You know, people don't have the

  194. next in line. Okay, Now there are young families, I heard,

  195. and young families are probably the only hope with the

  196. word young still there to serve the Lord while you're young.

  197. And this is the thing. The thing is, you get

  198. the first young couple married and having a baby. The

  199. woman is pregnant, and the guy thinks to himself, because

  200. there's no example in the church that it can be done,

  201. he tells the pastor, pastor, when we give birth to

  202. our first child, can you please give us six months off.

  203. The pastor of course understands, because we are supposed to

  204. be very understanding, and we say, of course, because first

  205. baby is very hard. It's the first time being a parent.

  206. Blah blah blah. Six months, six months. It turns into

  207. one year very easily, my friends, because you can into

  208. a habit. And when he turns into two year, and

  209. by your second year, you're getting pregnant again. And so

  210. now the second child means another one two years and

  211. then hopefully I don't know know, hopefully you don't get

  212. your third, but you know, but you know, because you

  213. want to serve the Lord, and then you might get

  214. your third and then you find yourself ten years not

  215. serving the Lord. Okay, now listen to me, listen my heart,

  216. because something has got to change. But where does it start?

  217. Something has got to change, but where does this start?

  218. Nineteen nine percent of the young families in Extra serve

  219. the lot nineteen nine percent. And I'm just trying to

  220. be humble about it because actually I think it one

  221. hundred percent, but you know, maybe not, maybe not, but

  222. it's a high percentage. I can't remember any young family

  223. that I know, there's not one. At least one party

  224. is serving the lot. But anyway, it's a high percentage.

  225. Maybe maybe let's be let me, let's be humble, but

  226. it is it ninety percent, okay, and in many other

  227. churches is going to be ten said. So I believe

  228. that X is blessed like this because we are supposed

  229. to be a blessing. It means whenever we travel, we

  230. want to tell churches all across Malaysia it's to hold

  231. one child another child and say let's go I to

  232. p Alexandra where we were married twenty nine years ago.

  233. If I had a child, I will not stop serving

  234. the law. Now. I know it's tough because there is crying,

  235. there is food, a crankiness, there is you take the

  236. child out after crash pampers and it pulls right as

  237. you're closing the door of your house to go to church.

  238. Why does it poll only when you're about to go

  239. to church? Right? And I told my wife, I said, dear,

  240. whatever it is, I know it's going to be tough.

  241. I know it's going to be tough. But whatever it is,

  242. there is no other option. So you must work your

  243. life around what I call the true North, work your

  244. life around the unchangeable, because if you don't have that,

  245. and everything is open up in your life for a

  246. messy life, there is no time to sleep, there's no

  247. time to wake up, there's no time to eat, there's

  248. no time to serve, there's nothing you with me. So

  249. I see the thing is that I also know is tough.

  250. I've seen it. But in my mind that I have this,

  251. as I said, true North, this compass, this compass that

  252. says Jesus is right there in front of me and

  253. the Bible says, looking at to Jesus, the author and

  254. the finishing of my faith. So I got to look

  255. to Jesus, and I'll illustrate this towards the end. But

  256. you gotta walk this line, walk this narrow path that

  257. leads to life, because why is the path? Why does

  258. the path that leads to destruction? And I'll show you

  259. what I means towards the end of this message. So

  260. the Lord God Almighty is trying to raise up examples

  261. so that he can bless his body, his church. He's

  262. trying to raise up examples of it can be done,

  263. it's possible, so that when others see, they go like, ah,

  264. now it's getting worse. Though. Now the young family is

  265. or rather the young couple that's getting married and having

  266. a baby. The wife is pregnant, maybe it's just three,

  267. four or five months. The bump is showing, all right,

  268. and the pastor now goes even one step further and

  269. go like, hey, I can see that you're having a baby.

  270. Why do you take six months off? Because we want

  271. to do better by our understanding and actually it actually

  272. sounds very the most understanding pastor in the world. We

  273. might get award at the end of the Month award

  274. at the end of the year. Now, I also want

  275. to be understanding. But the Lord told me to make disciples,

  276. and he didn't have any scripture. He says that, and

  277. make disciples only of people who are not pregnant. Make

  278. disciples of people who have only one child to a

  279. second child. Don't don't touch them they are people. Don't

  280. touch senior citizens because they retired. Id Let them do

  281. their gardening, let them play golf. Okay. The g O

  282. LF is going to replace the g O D okay,

  283. and play Sundays more so. That's going to be your cathedral,

  284. your new cathedral, okay. And the worship always goes up

  285. one like hey, it goes up and it comes right down.

  286. I'm joking, I know, but not. I'm speaking to you

  287. hard to heart because I'm telling you right now, twenty

  288. twenty five is coming just around the corner. And if

  289. you can catch this, I'm telling you, twenty twenty five

  290. can be amazing. It can be prospero arno, it can

  291. be good, if not great. You don't have to retire, seriously,

  292. especially from the Lord and from his calling. You don't

  293. have to. There's so much more in store. If you

  294. have lie and God it's given you breath. Oh so

  295. much more, so much more example, example, example, God is

  296. looking for examples, and as long as this example than

  297. is possible, God is looking for examples. The next slide.

  298. Adam was supposed to be an example. He failed in

  299. many ways, and because of Adam's failure, the rest of

  300. us are in a mess. But then he found Abraham,

  301. and Abraham was an example. Even until he was ninety

  302. one hundred years old, Joseph was met by Portifa's wife,

  303. Sleep with me, sleep with me. Every day she says,

  304. sleep with me, and Joseph says, I can't do this.

  305. I fear God. Moses was an example, supposed to be

  306. the Prince of Egypt. Could have had comfortable life, but

  307. instead wanted his calling in state, chose purpose over prosperity.

  308. David was an example. Wasn't he until today is to

  309. quoting him a man after God's own heart? Yes, even

  310. with Batsheba he failed, but then he asked God to

  311. forgive him, and God restored Esther. I had to add

  312. one woman's name in here. What an example. She was

  313. going to die if the king was angry with her

  314. for coming into his presence without him calling her. She said,

  315. if I perish, I perish. I just got to do

  316. what's right. Daniel, Jesus himself, Peter, Paul, Timothy imitate me?

  317. Is I imitate? God is looking for examples. Maybe I

  318. put dot dot because I want to add Kenneth's chin,

  319. elder Bingh out of Terrance. I want to elder at.

  320. A woman's name is the elder Mabel. And then the

  321. day is coming where it's going to be Sarah and Amma.

  322. But we choose every day. We choose whether we want

  323. to be a normal you ordinary teen they just likes

  324. to mess around, book each other, or are we going

  325. to be extraordinary? Ordinary? Extraordinary? Oh, you can't preach long

  326. to young people who said, you're talking about ordinary youth.

  327. We don't have any ordinary youth in this church. Church.

  328. You know, see all these the champions, they're amazing. We

  329. don't have. We don't have just normal go crazy. Why

  330. can I see in church one? Can you servant? No?

  331. We don't, we don't, we don't. So everybody, Okay, God

  332. is looking for examples. How is he going to speak

  333. to the teenagers in Malaysia through the teenagers in this church?

  334. How is he going to speak to the young doubts

  335. in Malaysia through the young douts in this church? How

  336. are you going to speak to the young families in

  337. Malaysia to the young families in this church. How's he

  338. going to speak to the senior citizens or the seniors

  339. through the seniors in this church? How's he going to

  340. speak to the iss man, to the business men in

  341. this hurt? I was going to speak to the college

  342. campus students, you know who was of partying all the time,

  343. you know, and drinks and and and you know, sexual

  344. stuff going on in and and the and the and

  345. the and the campus students in this church, says, Hold

  346. on a minute. I don't have to walk that road.

  347. I don't have to be what you want me to be.

  348. I can be what God wants me to be. Jesus

  349. at twelve, where was he in the temple talking with

  350. older men, older leaders, dialogueing twelve years? Oh? What was

  351. he trying to show us? Example? Never? He was thirty?

  352. Example in life, he was an example in death. He

  353. was an example still hanging on the cross. You know,

  354. I remember one time, but I was a preacher many

  355. years ago. I was so it was so funny, I laughed,

  356. but not funny, because he said, how would you react

  357. when you're hung there and you have no sin? You know,

  358. there is the son of God. He's some days probably

  359. looking at them. Are you wait and see when I

  360. come down all of you? You know, he didn't see that.

  361. He said, forgive them, Father, for they know not what

  362. they do even in death. I told my wife, I said,

  363. I don't know how I'm gonna go home with to

  364. be with the Lord. But I did know what I

  365. want on my tombstone. And yeah, and and and you know,

  366. we talk about it. We talk about it. In fact, yeah,

  367. I guess, I guess I want a tombstone then, so yeah,

  368. don't don't cremate me. Okay, this is just puts so

  369. that people get other people can't visit and get inspired

  370. even by my tombstone. God is looking for examples. Family. Okay,

  371. let let's let's go. Let's go ahead, let's go on next,

  372. like please. Families are looking for examples. And they because

  373. a lot of people don't know how do marriage. They

  374. don't know. There's no school of marriage, school of marriage.

  375. Three years of school of marriage. Yeah, one foundation of course,

  376. how to say, I like you to a girl, and

  377. how to say I like you to a man. Foundation

  378. and then as it goes on, wow, you come out

  379. with a degree or a master's in marriage. No such thing.

  380. Don't have a lot of people learn by child and error. Yes,

  381. the people just say it more error. Sometimes I've been

  382. married twenty nine years only and I tell you it's

  383. not been easy. Hey, sometimes it's been good. Most times

  384. it's been very good. But sometimes we wonder why we

  385. got married. Can I be very honest with you? Hey, God,

  386. asie if I was singlar, can do so much more?

  387. Go more places, go for more days. Yeah, I think

  388. to myself, you know, God, you know I'm celebrating my

  389. train nine ndiver three, or celebrated my train on going

  390. into my thirtieth. Wow, Lord, it's been. It's been you.

  391. It's been You've been faithful thing about you know? How?

  392. You know what's the toughest part about my marriage? I

  393. be very honest with you, keep you transparent. My wife

  394. is another version of kel Chine plus plus. So when

  395. I go hope up there, I don't have wife. I

  396. have senior minister, missions pastor and something that long for

  397. a wife along And one day I actually told her,

  398. I said, saying, can you be my wife today? See

  399. I am? I said no, no, no, I don't know. May

  400. you understand what I'm saying. But I've been thinking about

  401. this a long time. And then we had a chat

  402. and then she said, okay, what you want for dinner?

  403. Also nice because usually I have to choose dinner. Yeah,

  404. twenty nine years of marriage, I think about three seven

  405. years put together, are the one who prepared dinner? And

  406. uh and not prepared. I don't know how cool, but

  407. it's like finding a pace to eat outside. We only

  408. eat at home. Wow, I'm just telling you. I just

  409. see a piece so open to you know, we twenty

  410. nine years of marriage. We only eat at home I

  411. think average five times a year. And for those five times,

  412. it's making me because we're just so tired. One time

  413. could be pizza all the all the rest of the time.

  414. You know, I've got to find a place to take her,

  415. feed her and pay the bill. So good, it's true.

  416. So good, it's true. And then the day is I

  417. go like saying, I miss having a wife. And so

  418. that's the tough part. And on Sundays it's get up together.

  419. As I said to you all, right. Last week I

  420. was in Cyberjaya, she was in Clang. This week I'm here,

  421. she's in Mony. Maybe next week we'll meet. But that's

  422. why Mondate is so important to me. And a lot

  423. of you go like, oh, past the whole you introduce Monday,

  424. I say, I had no choice. Not I had no choice.

  425. That's a choice. I said. I've got to make sure

  426. that once a week I have a wife and she

  427. has a husband. It's all just me and I'm not

  428. she She probably alsos up fees that way. When I'm

  429. sitting down now, especially for hours and hours writing my

  430. thesis for my doctorate. Uh you know, I can be

  431. in my room writing for eight hours and she just

  432. she knows I'm doing this, and so she yeah, so

  433. maybe she didn't have a husband for eight hours. Actually

  434. I'm writing on Saturday. It's our day to be together,

  435. to do things together. But so there's all of understanding,

  436. but sometimes you just but what am I trying to say?

  437. Families are looking for examples. Uh So, so we've got

  438. to think about that, and we've got to ask God

  439. for wisdom and make the best of whatever time you

  440. have together. Make the best of whatever time you have together.

  441. Remember your wife, remember your husband. They are your best friend.

  442. You actually married your best friend. And talking about parents

  443. so much to talk about parenting. It's a huge thing.

  444. But is it just is it just your story or

  445. are you you know? This is why I told passed

  446. Jack last week cyber I said, Jack, do you know

  447. why you have one? One child? The first child? He said, yeah, one?

  448. But is it? But do you know why you have three?

  449. Because God felt like one was not good enough for

  450. you to model up that you can do it with

  451. one child, so we give you two. And the rest

  452. of the people in your church also some of them

  453. have two children. But before the person can say Jack, oh,

  454. yes one, I have two. Therefore he doesn't understand me,

  455. he went and gave Jack two. You know, I see

  456. life a bit differently these days. On the very job

  457. you have is because God wants you to be an

  458. example there, whether he gave it to you or didn't

  459. give it to you. It's also example. How you respond

  460. to a job rejection is also an example. Every Okay,

  461. this is this what life is. And we can go

  462. on to children. But I think we heard enough about that. Okay,

  463. let's let's go on to the next one. Our young people,

  464. including our young wookie adults, are also looking for examples,

  465. ye are. And of course when you look at the scripture,

  466. what does the scriptures say? Let no one despise your youth? Right,

  467. I see I'm stopping so that I'm just waiting for

  468. the next slight to come. Yes, thanks so much. Let

  469. no one despise your youth. But be an example to

  470. the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit.

  471. Now this is this is for young people. And again

  472. the writer is so he's so confident with young people

  473. not being left out, but even they themselves can be example.

  474. And I don't have the time to go through all

  475. five with you that I think there are five things here,

  476. But if you look at it, you realize why word

  477. is number one, Why conduct is number two, Why in

  478. love is number three. I studied it when I was

  479. trying to talk to a girl of youth, you know,

  480. maybe many many years ago now, and it all says,

  481. do you know the word is the first thing that

  482. gives your age away. You come in full suit, like

  483. elder Terrans. Beautiful you look you look like a beautiful

  484. man who just overcame COVID. Yeah, and he could look

  485. he could look at certain age until he opens his mouth,

  486. and then you go like, I think his traveler because

  487. your word. No, young people always their word is good.

  488. This is what we're So we could have young people

  489. even in this room, who doesn't have to speak like

  490. ordinary young people. They speak well. They speak caringly, lovingly, honorably, respectfully.

  491. See by all the other things they just speak of. Well,

  492. they are the ordinary teenagers. No, I'm not. When I

  493. was fifteen, I gave my life to Jesus. When I

  494. was seventeen, I heard from the Lord for the very

  495. first time, very clearly. A man was wanting to jump

  496. out of his hotel window in Holiday Inn. I was seventeen.

  497. This man was from Philippines. He sang in the pubs.

  498. His friend brought him because this man couldn't sleep for

  499. two weeks, so by the second week he was a zombie, totally,

  500. a zombie. Didn't sleep or two weeks. All he wants

  501. to do is find a window, open it. And a friend,

  502. by the grace of God, pulled him back about five

  503. six times already. And so the end in my father's office,

  504. and my father called my homes leader. My homes leader

  505. at that time was probably in his sixties. I was seventeen.

  506. The homes healer called me. Of all people are my

  507. homes healer called me, you know, just two years old, Crescent.

  508. Maybe you saw something and we adult see that. We

  509. can see whether a young person is he's got a

  510. special it's totally different. It's on fire for God. We

  511. can see what we can see. And so he called me.

  512. He says, Kenny calls me, Kenny, Kenny, your dad just

  513. called me. And someone needs deliverance, needs to cast out

  514. the demon from this man. Because he hasn't been sleeping

  515. for two weeks. The devil must be disturbing his mind.

  516. So I said, why in the word did my homes

  517. leader call me? All right, he's got assistant leaders, he's

  518. got the called me. Can I pick you up? I say, okay,

  519. I put down the phone. At seventeen years old, I

  520. got down on my knees. I said, Lord, I don't

  521. know why I'm going and what I'm doing, but if

  522. you have anything that I can offer, please tell me.

  523. And the Lord dropped something in my spirit. He says something,

  524. But you know, I didn't even know it was a lot.

  525. He says, you know how he drops just so he

  526. but the host diader can't pick me up. We went

  527. to my father's office. When I walked in, I looked

  528. at I took one look at this his Filipino band boy.

  529. I took one look at his face and he looked

  530. like the walking dat Now okay, two weeks mostly just

  531. totally pale, and there's deadness in his eyes. He CAAI

  532. look at you and not look at you a bit scary.

  533. So we sat down around the table and my dad said,

  534. for the last two hours of waiting, I've been giving

  535. him all the scriptures. Hopefully he will step out. Brother Shiping,

  536. brother Siping was our homestaler, brit Swiping, you take over.

  537. So Brad Sieping says, brother and his minister wonderful, wonderful,

  538. wonderful words, wow words, and all of us we would

  539. have been encouraged, except his men. He's just like a zombie.

  540. And Jesus loves you and died for your sins. In mind,

  541. I want to die. I want to die. And so

  542. we couldn't couldn't get through for an hour, and I

  543. think to end it all nicely, we say, let's pray, right,

  544. So before my father had anger sipping pray, I said, oh,

  545. I tell you what I felt like a fly on

  546. the wall. I fled. I felt like, you know, to

  547. be seen not heard, seventeen years old? What can I do?

  548. Two men, including the homes Leader, has a really spoken

  549. preach the gospel really twice over, and then the Holy

  550. Spirit just began to stir up within me. Seventeen you

  551. stir up within me, Kenneth. I gave you something right

  552. before you came speak up now, And so I said

  553. that that was about to say suns about ready that, yes, son,

  554. can I say something? Sure? I guess I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, Kenneth.

  555. I didn't know he was hoping that I would say

  556. something now, because he said to me later, I've always

  557. seen you as a very extraordinary teen. I didn't think so,

  558. but sometimes people can see it, as I say they

  559. can see. And so I said, I asked a question.

  560. I said, sir, how's your relationship with your father? I

  561. didn't give any scripture, all the scriptures given a ready,

  562. I just said, how's the relationship with your father? Within

  563. thirty seconds, he burst into tears and he cried, could

  564. answer me, could answer us? And then we went on

  565. that road because we saw the Lord open that door,

  566. and he didn't have a good father. Who when he

  567. brought back seven a's still asks why no, eight a's

  568. who just I mean? Maybe he had a father with high, high,

  569. high expectations and would hit him for no reason. And

  570. he had such a hatred for his dad. Right, and

  571. now you tell him that God is your father, and

  572. the only picture he has in his mind is a

  573. bad father, and father equals cruel. And then we said

  574. your father, no matter what happened, God is not like that.

  575. The ministry went on for about half an hour, but

  576. straight to the heart of who father God really is.

  577. He's a million times better than your dad, maybe a

  578. billion times cannot be counted. He's too good. He gave

  579. his only big God in the son. Then you start

  580. ministreaming with all the other scriptures. Now you can't entered

  581. because there was a door that was always close, shut

  582. so tight. Now as he opens, the scripture makes sense.

  583. And the guy got back to the hotel those days,

  584. no handful. No guy got back to the hotel and said,

  585. caught my father and said, Mike, I want to tell you.

  586. As soon as we got into the taxi, this man

  587. who didn't sleep for two weeks. Slept like a baby

  588. all the way to the hotel and he still sleep picked.

  589. I had to wake him up getting back to the

  590. hotel room, and he continues sleeping. I think he was

  591. making up for two weeks, and he chose to live.

  592. He said, I want to tell you that God can

  593. use any one of us, and maybe just for that

  594. last five minutes is for the teen, say, because our

  595. teens are very special to us, and I know that

  596. you just don't come to a place where you're hearing

  597. the lie of the enemy. That it can be possible.

  598. It's possible, all right, So word, word, word, because word

  599. usually is the first thing that gives your age away.

  600. And then the conduct, and then love. Love, Why love?

  601. Because love always thinks about other people, but teenagers always

  602. think about themselves if they are not in the lot.

  603. Oh dad, why so long? Man, I'll go back. It's

  604. always them, mom, Why it's always demon so long? Why

  605. now hungry? They don't hardly think about other people. I'm

  606. not talking about youth, are youth, but youth in general.

  607. And so that's why he says, can you young people

  608. be an example in love? Cannot Actually, it's quite impossible

  609. with young people because selfishness is is the name of

  610. the game. But we can with Christ, we can. Amen. Amen,

  611. all right. You know, I was thinking about young young

  612. adults who are looking for relationship, and I know it's hard.

  613. You know, it's a hard game. All of us are doubts.

  614. They have been, Trila, I guess all of us have been.

  615. How do you tell a girl you like her when

  616. you like her? Oh, I've been praying for you, oh

  617. the Christian way, sister, Sister. I just want to let

  618. you know, sister, don't don't, yeah, don't take it any

  619. other way. I just want to let you know I've

  620. been praying for you. Pray for what. I just take

  621. it as that life for now, and then you can

  622. pray and ask a lort what that means. So I

  623. like busses Andra. I didn't like any other girl. Buzza's

  624. my first girlfriend and my wife. And so I looked

  625. at her one day. She was worship beating Wow, just wow.

  626. Love for the Lord was just so uh, you know,

  627. so drawing to me, and I said, wow, God, if

  628. I could have someone like her. And I went back

  629. home and I prayed about it, said, Lord, Sandra looks

  630. pretty good. And then then he said, then, then prayer,

  631. remember the first six months of prayer. Lord, if it

  632. is your will, let me be done. Lord, if it

  633. is your will, let me be done. One day after

  634. six months that the road says, but do you like her? Not?

  635. I said, yes, I like her. Okay, let's start with

  636. that first. Okay, let's start with that, because I would

  637. not force you to like anybody if he's not okay.

  638. So then the Lord told me put her on the altar.

  639. Put it on the altar. So I put her on

  640. the altar. And when you put thank you so much, pingle,

  641. and when you put living in sacrifices on the altar,

  642. they move. So she moved because there were so many

  643. guys after her past was likely quite a good looking person.

  644. And so all the guys in uh in church, you know,

  645. I either liked her or you know whatever. Okay, And

  646. of course God gave her the best.

  647. But the thing is, yeah, just in passing, Yeah, okay,

  648. God remember the poorla and often you know.

  649. Okay, So yeah, pray, pray. A lot of the guys

  650. who come to tell me, but pass Kenneth, how do

  651. you do it? Or something? Just friends, Kenneth, how do

  652. you do it with era, I said, I prayed, train

  653. a half years Ha, why are you so silly? Silly?

  654. What you mean silly? You like this tella? Then how

  655. if they say I don't like then get hurt for

  656. a few months. Now I know, get hurt for a

  657. few months. Cannot reject it, Nola, I said, I prayed,

  658. I pray. I think young adults are looking for examples

  659. how to do it better. Because it's I like you,

  660. you like me or not? It's for ages, no long time,

  661. any week. You I think you should try, try to

  662. change change a Libela ask my friend to ask I

  663. have a friend. I have a friend that you don't

  664. know about. Yes, and he or she has some interest

  665. in you. You gotta not know, Okay, why why do

  666. the process? You know? Because they don't know what you're

  667. talking about? It could be stricked, you know, and uh

  668. and so they want to know. So I'm gonna ask

  669. you right now in this room, how many young adults

  670. here who are not hooked up yet will say, in

  671. your heart, pastor, I choose to be an example. I

  672. don't want to just go on with a relationship just

  673. like all my other friends in college. Why why go

  674. and choose all these cheap skate yo. Did I just

  675. say that all this strategy alone, even female dog and

  676. neil dogs are doing that, you know, of course with

  677. some extra stuff. But you know yeah, no, you're know

  678. a dastpin. Don't just take in order rubbish. Find a

  679. better way train a half years wh way long way

  680. and then when the trailer half is finished, I said, Lord,

  681. is it time now? He said, yes, tell her you

  682. can tell her now, finish my degree treating my law degree,

  683. can tell her now, can tell her how to tell her.

  684. I pray for you. I wrote her letter because I

  685. never ever told a girl I like her before. I

  686. never Wow, I tell you it, stressfool, stressful. So I

  687. wrote her letter. I asked God for confirmation to give

  688. her the letter. I said, Lord, if this happens, this happens,

  689. this happens, I will give her the letter. All happened,

  690. but I couldn't give the letter so scared. No, I

  691. tell you seriously, I don't know why. Maybe it was

  692. the other guys that you dream on like dream on

  693. you want Sandra, you dream on lah? Yeah, I should

  694. have told him that I'm a dreamer. No, So I

  695. think young Oki doubts that depends what they need. Help

  696. la right navigating some of these things. You know, yeah,

  697. let's move on because of time, man, let's move on.

  698. Although I've got to tell you something else that is

  699. very passionate to me. Can't tell you study is very

  700. very passionate to me. So I got married three nine

  701. years ago. I only get married once. You know, huh

  702. once we can do renewer marriage vous Kenna, but once

  703. to me. So you know why God gives you a

  704. wedding so that you can be an example. Everything he

  705. gives you is, for example, and everything one child for example,

  706. two for example, three for example, five for example, eleven,

  707. start football team. You know why you give you the car,

  708. the house, why, everything? So that you can show another

  709. man how it's done, show another woman how is that?

  710. People are looking for inspiration or so wedding My wife

  711. and I he said, you need one wedding. We need

  712. you know, most of the time people come leave for

  713. wedding one hours are I want a message because I

  714. got it only one wedding. I want to put on

  715. the car seven pm shot. Usually when you stick wedding

  716. cars that you don't see shop one because he's not

  717. so nice man, right, I put shop, and then we

  718. decided that if Malaysia was ever going to change the attitude,

  719. what's attitude? If they say six seven thirty. I know

  720. you're laughing because you also think like that. Sometimes stop

  721. better stop a ready, otherwise Malaysia will never change. How

  722. we pray are doing an election time? Oh Lord, take

  723. a weak corruption, and then we give money to policemen

  724. when the stop us. But we pray, Oh God, give

  725. us a government that's not corrupted, and then we pay

  726. the policeman when they stop us. Hello, how are what

  727. gonna answer your prayer? Gotta start somewhere right, want to

  728. be early, be early here all but people still criminate

  729. to church? How are your children gonna change? You ask

  730. your children twenty years from now why you only to

  731. church on my father's name? I said, you never called him.

  732. It's got to start somewhere. So seven pm Sharma, six

  733. fifteen nine, My wife and I was at the front

  734. door waiting to march in. She's holding my head, I'm

  735. holding her hand as is Hendra. People are gonna hate

  736. us for this. But if you're gonna change Malaysia, gonna

  737. start with our wedding. My elders, my elders, who are

  738. usually early arrive at seven sharp. They were so shocked

  739. because they've never however, you have ever been to any

  740. wedding shop. Come on your hands. No, of course, no,

  741. of course no, because we are all creatures of habit.

  742. A whole group of boys from DVFC came late for

  743. the lunch that I organized for them. One or two

  744. boys came late, as late as one hour. I turned

  745. to my coach, I said, I haven't heard you taking

  746. anyone of them to tasks. What's going on? He said, oh, Pasta,

  747. you gotta you know this cultury culture a day from

  748. the B forty group, they don't understand. I said, brother,

  749. I don't exist to just give them football. I exist

  750. to give them a future. Football come and go, but attitude.

  751. Do you know why B forty remains B forty because

  752. of this? B forty means below forty, meaning the forty

  753. percent of the poor, forty percent of the poorest in

  754. the nation. It's called B forty just in case you

  755. don't understand that. And you know why they remain poor

  756. because there's no adults who say I told you twelve,

  757. why you come at one? You will not play for

  758. this team this year. You must be tough. We already

  759. send two boys, two Malai boys back to school now

  760. because at school to wonder me, Daly played true and

  761. not for one and a half years now. But after

  762. this boy went back to school, pengo, you know him

  763. form five, he's doing from five. Now we are here

  764. to give him a future, not just football. How long

  765. can your football last? Future attitude? After the brother has

  766. gone back to school, his sister I just heard eleven

  767. years old. Eleven years old has never been to school.

  768. Eleven is already. But so the brother go back to

  769. school now, wants to go back to school, send young

  770. people back to school and give them a future and

  771. a hope. This is what extras does. This is what

  772. ya does. But listen, example example, where is it so

  773. no one in this room can answer about being early

  774. for your own wedding? Was so as Yeah, passionate right,

  775. I know it's going to be quiet. When are you

  776. going to start making such a difference in your life

  777. that your young people can say, I'm inspired by Uncle

  778. Soy and so I'm inspired by Auntie Soy and so?

  779. When or is it just about money? This is it

  780. just about golf? This is just about gardening. Hello, there's

  781. more to life. I've started a new church in good

  782. community at fifty two. Who does that? We do that

  783. because the Lord says can be done, So you do it,

  784. and then other people at fifty cannot now have an

  785. excuse because someone did it. All you need is one.

  786. Some ladies know in the Chinese world will say, oh la,

  787. men must definitely play a fool outside. This is a

  788. statement that the Chinese will say, if you are a man,

  789. for sure you will be able to for sure you

  790. will play a fool with other women outside. Whose word

  791. is that? No, there's not my word, There's not God's word.

  792. There is the world's word. So you want to be

  793. able to say, what kind of man do you want

  794. to be? Help your son understand it, help your nephew

  795. understand what kind of man. With God's grace, we can

  796. do it. Amen. So I'm standing there with my wife.

  797. I tell you I was so a diamon elder terrans.

  798. I don't know better. It is a good example of

  799. my father said his son son, sixty percent of the

  800. tables are not full. Sixty percent of the tables are

  801. not full. I said, Dad, I have a message. You

  802. got to you gotta give this to me. This is

  803. my wedding. I already have one. I might be the

  804. only one in Malaya who's early for his wedding. My

  805. wife and I thank god I have a wife. Never,

  806. let's do it, how mad? I was Okay, do you

  807. adviser anto A ever come? I told her the seven

  808. pm sharp word. If Auntie can't even come for her

  809. niece's wedding, sharper, what else she doing? I was side there.

  810. That's why they also do outside because simple thing wedding.

  811. M hmm. See how passionate. I'm not scolding anybody. No,

  812. are you still with me? With me? No? WHOA your life?

  813. One life to live? Be an example? A. So here

  814. we are about to work. You know they were on

  815. time seven seven pm sharp, my eldest, but still say

  816. sorry because when you're early, it's good. Right, when you're

  817. on time, you're late. We say, ok So there, my

  818. wife and I walk right Ola, Yeah, comes the bride here? Okay,

  819. so we're walking in. Oh we look at all the

  820. tables so empty. Wow, I think my heart would beating

  821. fast door, Like, did I make a mistake? Empty family members, auntie, uncles,

  822. empty by the time some people came. I was one

  823. hour late. We had to put food on plates by

  824. side because we were ready. The fifth dish, Thank God,

  825. the umpow was put outside. Halleljah, Praise God. Amen. Don't

  826. collect power inside, collect outside. Don't let him see anything

  827. on his side first Hallelujah. Tie tonguslang God, dredging. There

  828. was where I had my wedding. Continue every time. Don't settle,

  829. don't settle. I never mind lie. You know that word

  830. never mind, not taking Throw it out of your vocabulary.

  831. Use it only when you're showing mercy to people showing compassion,

  832. and then say he spilled the miller never mind. At

  833. all other times, I don't say never never mind. I

  834. don't you study never mind us? So what? My mother agreed, No,

  835. it's never mind us so what? No, No, my husband

  836. is no, no no. We use never mind the right time, Yeah,

  837. for mercy, for compassion. At all other times. In terms

  838. of your destiny, don't say never mind. I cannot am

  839. supposed to be this and this and this and this

  840. and this and this. I never mind. I just one.

  841. I just choose one. Law and God says cannes Chine.

  842. You are a man of five talents. Why do you

  843. settle for one and I hide four in the ground

  844. worse than the men who won money. Everybody, okay, all right,

  845. I know marketplace is looking for examples. There's the next right, yeah,

  846. the marketplace. You know, ladies German And you know why

  847. Jesus said forgive them, for they know not what they do. Actually,

  848. the marketplace without Jesus no know what to do with.

  849. They learned MBA, they learned PhD, get the damage. They

  850. learn the ways of the world. I have a contractor

  851. that works on my house. He's a little bit upset

  852. with Christians because the way we pay. One time he

  853. complained to Ken Young because it was one of our

  854. church members. I mean, they shouldn't be sharing with us

  855. because it's private stuff. A lot of people are doing stuff.

  856. But in a way, I also I'm glad because I

  857. really don't want anyone in Exegia to not pay when

  858. they should be paying. If you have the money, piece

  859. pay no money, don't do your renovation. So I pay

  860. even without the contract asking, because I said, I said

  861. to him, his name is Ken Ken you know me.

  862. I live by faith. But when I have money, you

  863. have it. When I don't have, you don't have it.

  864. So he told Elder Kenyng there because have to share

  865. with him. I say, hey, you're boss, way different now.

  866. I didn't ask him for the money, so you give

  867. me no because I know the whole project is two

  868. hundred thousand. I only pay him hundred. Of course I

  869. have to keep paying one. Why you have to ask

  870. people no? So at a lot of times they teach

  871. you outside in the world delay it's all about cash

  872. flow delay. It's all about cash flow delay. Yeah. I

  873. want to say to you, don't delay because all by

  874. your witness, don't delay because of your testimony. Don't delay

  875. because you suppose we example. No, this guy has done

  876. so many Christian houses. Yea, but I still don't want

  877. to be Christian because there are more examples of Christian.

  878. Don't pay him, and I feel very embarrassed. Thank God. Actually,

  879. out of the few names he's complained about, only one

  880. is in our church. Because I tell you what, I

  881. just want to make sure that we are discipling people to,

  882. even in the marketplace, do it in the way that

  883. pleases God. I also don't owe anybody anything. The Bible says,

  884. don't owe anybody anything if it belongs to them, pay

  885. them maybe okay, Yeah, marketplace is looking for examples. The

  886. church is looking for examples because so many churches are

  887. falling around the world's leadership problems and all that. So

  888. we're all looking for examples. How can you be a

  889. leader that's integris faithful. Yeah, very very important. I can

  890. go on and on, but my time is up. The

  891. nation is looking for examples the nation. Don't just pray.

  892. Become an example is very very important. Last time, there

  893. was one time a li Hua being adapted. Lijuabing was

  894. the state Assemblyman of subang Jaya and Christian, and he

  895. witnessed to people here in Summit, and he was trying

  896. to witness to a to a boss here at that time.

  897. That group made group a boss who was not a Christian.

  898. And liuah Bing goes to him and says, I know

  899. a pastor called Kenachin who uses submit for his church.

  900. I want you to meet him one day. So Leo

  901. Abing said to me, Kenneth passed, Kenneth, you have time

  902. to meet with the senior man of Summit. I just

  903. told him about you. I said, what do you tell him?

  904. I said, I told him there is a pastor here

  905. who has a church in Summit, and he is a man,

  906. the only man I know who does whatever God tells him.

  907. That became my testimony here from the mouth of a

  908. status every man to the ears of a man who

  909. is the top guy here. And all he could summarize

  910. about me is this is a man who does anything

  911. and everything God tells him. So I met him. I'm

  912. not sure that he has come to know the Lord.

  913. But nation and leaders are looking for example. Everybody. Okay, yeah,

  914. our mission. Let's draw towards the last lab, the last

  915. closure of this message, the last you know gear. I'm

  916. moving up to the last gear. And our mission purpose

  917. in life is to be examples. All of you know

  918. that as soon as our eyes are open in the

  919. morning till our eyes are close at night, we have

  920. the opportunity or the opportunities to make a real difference

  921. just by being examples to the people around us and

  922. after us. As a mission needs a vision, so examples

  923. need an example. Do you understand that a mission, every

  924. mission needs a vision and every example needs an example. Okay,

  925. So Jesus came to the earth to be God's example

  926. to the world. Amen, Let's look at the scripture John fourteen.

  927. I summarize for you. It's just this. Jesus said to

  928. his disciples, if you have seen me, you have seen

  929. the Father. Wow. How confident is that? Because Jesus was said,

  930. because none of us could see the Father, he's up

  931. invisible God. But when he came, Jesus came, he was

  932. not invisible. He was visible. And everything he did he

  933. did after the Father. He says, if you see me,

  934. you see the Father. I love it. If you want

  935. to know the Father, see Jesus. Read about Jesus, Read

  936. about what he's done. So our vision, an example is

  937. Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith. Everybody, okay, amen,

  938. acts subang Then the day you don't have to remain

  939. so quiet. Tell me that you're still alive. Hey, man,

  940. you know some pace they use. It was the phrase

  941. they use, tell me that you are still a life

  942. without telling me that you're still a life. Okay. Jesus

  943. is our compass, our true north. You know, in Christianity,

  944. seldom God gives you a map, but he often gives

  945. us a compass. All of us want a map, Oh,

  946. exactly where to go? He didn't give Abraham a map.

  947. He gave Abraham a compass, and it was called faith.

  948. And wherever Faith pointed, Abraham went. How to love my wife,

  949. how to forgive him my husband, How to bring up

  950. my first child, how to bring up my second? Jesus,

  951. teach me learn that from books. Go study. No no, no,

  952. no no. Lord, there's a lot of books out there.

  953. Too much, too much opinion, too much voice, too many voices.

  954. I just Lord, show me, Lord, show me how to

  955. do church, how to be a boss, a good supervisor.

  956. No map, but compass. There will be many voices, many opinions,

  957. many many, too many, too many. Everybody wants to have

  958. an opinion. How you bring up your child? Focus on

  959. Jesus and walk a straight line towards him. This is

  960. where I'm going to do the illustration, and I'm going

  961. to close. Remember Peter walking on water. Why because Peter

  962. was walking on water. So if you go like Pasta,

  963. I will never walk on water. But everyone here in

  964. this room have your own water. You walk on. When

  965. I was walking into my wedding at seven pm sharp,

  966. I was walking on and the tables that were empty

  967. were like the storm that Peter got his eyes on storm,

  968. and then he sank, and a lot of us sometimes

  969. don't go all the way with what God has called

  970. us to because we keep looking at other people, other things.

  971. Other challenges are storms. Don't just keep your eyes on

  972. Jesus and you won't sink. And even if you sink,

  973. you know the Lord will catch you. Where all examples

  974. in our own ways says the next slighte. Whether we

  975. know it or not, whether we like it or not.

  976. You know, when you come in late to church, you're

  977. idi an example. You know, you know how you become

  978. a stronger example when you walk into church late every Sunday. Yeah, yeah,

  979. you strengthen. You strengthen once of all all the young

  980. people here to see all like that. One now and

  981. then somebody will whisper, or don't worry. He's a business man.

  982. He makes a lot of money, so he gives to church.

  983. So then they will learn. As long as you're rich,

  984. you can come late. That's not what you want to

  985. leave as a legacy. We are either examples that it

  986. can be done or that it can't be done. Every

  987. day as long as we have life, live as examples

  988. in everything and that every time until God calls us home,

  989. is there any one Ben, could you do me a favorite, brother, Ben,

  990. could you stand up? Uh, and then come in front

  991. of the camera so that you're not you're not hidden. Uh.

  992. And and I think I chose you, brother bend because

  993. you're aware your hand is white. No. No, you're here in

  994. the middle of the middle, right in the middle, in

  995. front of the Yeah. Okay, okay, right in the middle,

  996. and go back a little bit after Rebecca after Becky. Okay, okay,

  997. I hear you. Look at me, Look at me, brother,

  998. you have white hair. You will be like Jesus to

  999. me today. You will be like Jesus to me. Okay,

1000. lift up your hand on your your your wanting to

1001. welcome me home? Okay, yeah, yeah. Can you imagine Jesus

1002. he has his hands up like that. He's trying to

1003. welcome all of you home. No one day. How cool

1004. is that you actually have a Do you know that

  1005. Christianity is not just a religion, it's a relationship, it's

1006. a person. Almost almost every other religion, you don't have

1007. someone to look at to walk to. You just have

1008. a book or whatever it is that we don't even

1009. have to have a book. After a while, it's not

1010. even a book, not although we have the Bible, we

1011. are looking at a person. And that's what many religions

1012. don't have. A person who's still alive, not in the grave,

1013. alive and waiting for you to come through the purlygates.

1014. And there is really you know, Jesus. You are your

1015. hands up, Jesus with an extra tie organized. Okay, okay, okay,

1016. this is life. This is life. As I illustrate a

1017. close I just want this illustration to stick in your mind. Okay,

1018. I am supposed to better remainer. You are my Jesus.

1019. Don't go anywhere, stay still. I never thought Jesus to

1020. stay still low. I thought it was there up. Okay,

1021. say stilla the whole time, the whole time. Okay, because

1022. I'm supposed to. I'm like Peter. I'm walking on the

1023. water to you, all right. That's where all my testimonies

1024. are ahead of me. Okay, testimonist that ah, I'm testimonists.

1025. I have to come and I'm walking towards you. My

1026. end goal is you, Jesus.

1027. My end goal. Okay. Now when you start, you're like

1028. this empty space. You're a child, your baby, you eat

1029. sleep and SHEI okay, and so not many decisions, and

1030. then suddenly you enter life and you begin to make

1031. your decisions. And as soon as you start making decisions,

1032. that's when life really starts. Okay, this is how it happens. Right,

1033. You're a teenager and you start having interest in the

1034. opposite sex and it's a girlfriend boyfriend constitution. But you know,

1035. I've been to church, ex church, my parents go to church.

1036. And then suddenly you saw a really fine girl and

1037. you decided that maybe, just maybe it's just sparked for

1038. a while, because Jesus can wait one right, waited so

1039. long a day, you said you come back soon, but

1040. still not so soon. Now, yeah, so I what's your name? Ali? Hi?

1041. Nice meeting you, I tell you a little bit shy.

1042. And then suddenly, while this road, the narrow road that

1043. leads to life, becomes a wider road because now this

1044. relationship doesn't work, and you go to the next one

1045. with me. Suddenly life has become a girlfriend finding mission.

1046. And for some years you're not even on the road

1047. leading to life. You're just hanging out in this wider road.

1048. This is the narrow road, this is the wide road,

1049. and you get stuck because oh, that girl looks really good.

1050. Although her dad is here. Sorrya illustrative purposes. Okay, Now

1051. he could be a girl and found a really good

1052. looking guy. You know, wow your biceps while you have

1053. biceps over your biceps. Wow. Okay, it doesn't work out.

1054. Hurt And he said if going back to Jesus, you

1055. hurt my Oh lord, why do you allow this? He

1056. did allow you went. You were supposed to look at

1057. him and go so no, you go to Maybe you

1058. want something more spiritual? Now you know what I'm trying

1059. to say. And for don't know how many years you're

1060. going to be hanging out the side, right, you have

1061. a choice to go like just the one, play along.

1062. This is the one instead of going into the wider road.

1063. Come with me. I'm walking towards him. You understand you

1064. don't waste time law, bring along la. That's why you

1065. have to bring a long lop person who has the

1066. same faith. You know what. I've known a ssue as

1067. a baby. That's how I can do that work. Okay,

1068. thank you so much. Happy birthday? All right? What's it

1069. going to be next? A job? Hey? Boss? I really

1070. want this job? Can you give me this job? Please?

1071. What work on Sunday? Can I guess, I guess because

1072. pays so well, and you keep going in. And then

1073. you got you got me from a staff to become supervisor,

1074. and now I have to supervise people who walking on

1075. Sunday can can go to church? Are yours? Do me?

1076. And so I spend my whole time here for a while,

1077. but broken up. And then now it's doubling. And then

1078. after that this is what is? What is? Uh is marriage?

1079. Maybe you know how many people are on fire for

1080. God before their marriage? After marriage? Where is here? He

1081. gone in? Gone is somewhere out of the wilderness, right wife?

1082. Then it's what else? Promotion? And then it's kids. Another

1083. guy that I've seen sech a baby, first kid. Ah

1084. canna serve godla because my first kids up? My second

1085. kid needs me. I would hug you right that? Okay,

1086. my second, my third kid or that. Now now you

1087. are totally drowned with kids. But you used to be

1088. a good singer, used to be a good guitarist, used

1089. to be a good picture. Where you now? But you

1090. don't understand past My kids need me? No, no, no, no, hey, kid,

1091. follow the day that is serving the lot? Okay, follow me? No,

1092. I'm not asking to give up follow come, come, come

1093. with me. I know sometimes we have to rush for

1094. my Donald's at night and I end up at church

1095. for press service. But but you gotta be okay, you

1096. won't die one you won't die eating one more French

1097. friesla Okay. I'm not saying that we must eat first

1098. food every every night. No, no, no, there's there's a balance,

1099. like how you know me and pass and on Sunday

1100. we can't be together, but Monday I try to make

1101. up for make up with you with me. But we

1102. as long as we're going. And then you know, he

1103. gets married, and then I become a father in law

1104. and I now have to you know, he has a child,

1105. and I become a grandfather, right, and I now go

1106. into grandfather grandpa more. And now the gardening, you know,

1107. Jesus is so so every my didn't talk, No, he

1108. didn't talk with me. And then you go there and

  1109. there's business and then it's you know, I don't know

1110. contracts and we don't end up there. But what the

1111. beautiful thing about this is, guys, you can take these

1112. along with you. I'm doing my doctorate now, hours and hours,

1113. but you know, when I'm spending time the day I

1114. was talking to doctor Lazarus because he's helping me with

1115. the theseas. I met him now eight times, and every

1116. time before we meet, we pray because I want to

1117. make sure that God is with me and I am

1118. with God. So I bring the thesis into this way

1119. instead of being lost in the academic world. Some people

1120. have been, oh, sorry, are doing my master's I can't

1121. serve the lot. You lost the point of what life

1122. is really about. Brother, thank you so much. Can't give

1123. him a big, big head. Yeah, I hope that when

1124. I arrived there with you, brother Ben, you would have said,

1125. well done, my good and faithful servant. And I will

1126. come before you like I would come before Jesus says,

1127. Can I introduce to you my wife. We walk together

1128. on this road leading to you. My three children. They're

1129. all serving you because and this is my PhD. This

1130. is my business. Lord, this is my lord. And you

1131. see a big smile on Father's face right in the end, Father,

1132. in the name of Jesus, My time has been up

1133. like fifteen minutes ago. I know it, but I just

1134. want to make sure that I leave with these precious people,

1135. not just a word, but a visual, a visual that

1136. they can see that they will know no matter what,

1137. no matter what next year brings. Some of you are

1138. considering different things. Maybe one or two of you here

1139. are considering retirement. It's not the retirement, it's what will

1140. you do with the retirement that will make you an

1141. example of a person retired well for the Lord. It's

1142. not about the retirement. It's not even about the job.

1143. It's about what would you do with that job to

1144. glorify God. It's not about the pay rise. It's what

1145. would you do with that pay rise. It's not about

1146. that bonus. It's not better you will get your visa,

1147. a proof to migrate to Australia. It's what would you

1148. do in Australia. How would you be the example in Australia?

1149. Or are you just gonna melt into the Australian culture

1150. and be oblivion, totally useless. So, Barz, you're so strong

1151. a your word? Go there. I still go to church

1152. for every Sunday? But is it all? Is that all?

1153. Going to church every Sunday? Is that your destiny? Is

1154. that all that God made you to become a church goer,

1155. a seat warmer? Or is there something more that God

1156. painstakingly made you, fearfully and wonderfully informed you in your mind.

1157. This womb for what for a destiny gave birth to you?

1158. When there are thousands of children dying every day out

1159. of abortion, dying because of war, thousands and thousands dying

1160. in Gaza dying. But you are alive? Why? Why? Because

1161. you have a God who kept you alive, who loves you,

1162. saved you for such a time as this. Is it

1163. just your bank account that you want to populate? And

1164. every week you look at your bank account. Who look,

1165. it's one more zero, one more zero? What more? Is

1166. that all you live for? Or is it? Are you living? Parents?

1167. Are you living for your children? And the best gift

1168. you can give them this example, The best give you

1169. can give your son, your daughter is the marriage that

1170. you have be an example in that marriage. I know

1171. it's a high call. I myself and speaking with fear

1172. and trembling because I know I too will find it

1173. very hard to even keep up. But it's not about

1174. keeping up. It's about keeping hot on fire. And as

1175. long as you are continually on fire for God, you

1176. will be able to do it. Don't just keep up.

1177. Too many people keep up and then they fail. Keep up.

1178. Keep up is not the goal. Keep hot on fire

1179. for God is the goal. Love Jesus with all your heart, mind,

1180. soul and strength. Make him your first love every time,

1181. every day, wherever you are. It doesn't matter. It matters

1182. that use everything that God has given you to become

1183. an example and an inspiration for others to go. If

1184. he can do it, I can too. If she can,

1185. I can too. If pastor can I can do. If

1186. my mom can, I can too. If my dad can,

1187. I can too, If my grandpa can, even at seventy five,

1188. what is my excuse. I have no excuse. I only

1189. have examples to follow. Oh, come on, people, leave a

1190. great legacy, even as young as if you're only fifteen.

1191. Now you know sixteen. Don't worry about your age. You

1192. can be an example to a twelve year old or

1193. even to your friends. You don't have to settle for

1194. second best. Don't have to settle for the norm. Father,

1195. in the name of Jesus, why don't you stand to

1196. your feet if you can, and everybody just join me

1197. in worship. As we worship, we surrender our lives. Worship

1198. is not just about singing It's about obedience. Worship is

1199. about surrendering our lives to the Lord. Worship is not

1200. about what comes out of your mouth alone, is what

1201. is in your heart. Why don't you offer your lives

1202. as a living sacrifice. Why do you do that? Right now?

1203. God can turn water into wine. Some of you are

1204. listening to me and you're having regret. That's why it

1205. was so quiet. It was so quiet moment in this

1206. place because you're saying, Pastor, I wish I had you

1207. as my pastor when I was a young person. But Pastor, really,

1208. my own wedding, you might say, was late by two hours. Pastor,

1209. I feel so embarrassed now when you're talking. No, no, no, don't.

1210. The goal of this message is not to make you embarrassed,

1211. not to bring condemnation, no no, no, no no. This

1212. message is to encourage you. Yes, we cannot change our past,

1213. but we have a future. Jesus came to give us

1214. a future and a hope. Young people here, you have

1215. the best life right because you can listen to this

1216. early and make a choice to make a difference. Older

1217. people here, I know you know, Pasta. I'm ready sixty

1218. plus seventy plus, hey, hey, we are looking at our

1219. seventy plus for example. I have not been there yet,

1220. so you are there already showed me how he's done. Brother,

1221. show me how is done. Sister. You can. If the

1222. fire of God is on you, you will be such

1223. an example at your age. Don't wish that you another age.

1224. Please stop wishing. Oh I wish I was younger. No,

1225. just be yourself. Be who you are, be your age,

  1226. but be an example.

1227. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
