So I want to speak about belief this morning. All right, friends, believe?

All right? This morning I spoke about it from a

different take. So I'm going to speak something online of belief.

And uh, let's see how the Lord A lad's all right.

So the reason why I want to speak about belief

is because all as see our journey of faith right now.

We are on this journey of believing in Jesus. We

have this journey about trying to find out more about

Christ in our life. We are on this journey about

knowing more about the Lord. And I sense and I

do believe that you know that you and I got.

The word is this is that coming to church on

Sunday is not enough. Wish me to say that coming

to church on Sunday will is good. Right, you have enjoyed, you,

you enjoy praise of worship, You lift up your hands,

you enjoy worship, the environment, you love it. But there

has to be more. The reality God has to be more.

It must exist Monday through Saturday. In other words, a

miracles must happen in our live Monday all the way

to Saturday and Sunday as well. Otherwise, I said, if

Americas doesn't happen from Monday to Saturday, then our faith

is only alive on Sunday, which sometimes it is that

we can become very discouraged because we go through life

every day. We go to situations, challenges, we go to Uh,

husbands sling our blankets at night if you're married, so

we're like, yeah, nothing you hit right, or you're still

your your your wife blanket. Uh at night you wake

out the morning, you call it, you call it cold. Uh.

There are there are challenges we face our work or colleagues, right,

and stuff like that. So the reality of God must exist.

It must happen at Monday to Saturday. And therefore what

does it take really for things to happen on Monday

to Saturday? Friends? Belief believe it's a very powerful agent. Really,

When husband and I believe in each other, believe in

the marriage, friends, wondrous things can happen. Right, the whole

household will be like a clockwork, Right, it will be

clean phrase the hallelu yeah. Right. When one person doesn't

believe in cleaning the house, only one person clean the house.

It's hard. You understand, okay, for those are real are

renting room. You understand your renting room with a girl

of people and only one person is cleaning and the

other person like to leave the dishes for the next

day to clean the lot. Have mercy on you, right?

It doesn't work and frustration builds up, isn't it when

we stop believing. Frustration builds up when you stop believing

in a in your homies, in your homes. Frustration builds up.

When you stop believing in the leader that's carving for you.

Frustration builds up. And when frustration builds up, we allow

the frustration, We allow the disappointment or that hurt, the anger.

I want to use the hijackers, rob us or hijackers

to make decisions whereby we are not supposed to make

to make decisions. You know, sometimes even if we grow

older friends, doesn't mean ash equals to maturity. Can you

agree with that? You can get a fifteen year old

making excellent decision compared to fifty year Oh right? So

only because sometimes we allow emotions to hijack our destiny,

which means to say that we allow emotions to hijack

the way we make decisions, and because of that, we

miss out on opportunities. We miss out or break shows.

We miss out so many things. I mean, I was

sharing you the first service I met the brother one

day and brother just or honestly share with me out there.

I was so angry with you one time when I

first came to church. I said why because I say

hi to you. You did not respond back. I say

hi to you, you did not respond back. I say, really,

I'm so sorry. Or you could have I could be rushing,

I could be doing something and something. It happens, fats.

It's not that you purposely ignore someone, but it just

it happened, all right. I say, thank you so much

for approaching me and telling me how you felt. At

the very moment, I felt like I was angry. He's usual.

I was angry. And could you imagine if you allow

that anger to buoy to speed up our decision making,

what happens? We make our decision inspired by our anger

and what happened with that frets. Most probably we leant

up eating at McDonald's itself of going somewhere else. If

you are dating and you're angry one another, what happens

right to eat you can't decide where to then let

always let up in somewhere like, okayn, I just go

McDonald's or just go Tafana. I said, no, it doesn't McDonald's.

Bad friends. You understand you're supposed to go a destination. Right,

Because we're angry, happens, it erupts us. So when we

stop believing this is what happens, we allow that emotion,

We allow that that there's disappointment. The one is to

rob us. And too many Christians are being robbed of

their destiny because of the disappointment they face in their

journey of faith. Right, I've met early stages of church.

I met someone someone and after and then normally new

to our church, and the first thing that comes out

from the conversation goes like this, you know what. My

preest person did this to me. I went like, okay,

I'm so sorry you went to that. I cannot deny

the person went to that, right, but I cannot be

a participator because I do not know the story. And

because of that said I'm so sorry. But my encouragement

for you is would you move on? Would you move

on and start believing in the goodness of God again?

Would you move on and start believing in the goodness

of God again, because to often me, we dwell in

the moment. We dwell in the moment, and what happens friends, again,

we allow those emotions to hijack the way we make decisions,

to bring us to a place we don't know do

not want to go in the first place. Right, So

the Bible says friends in Mark chapter nine, verse twenty three.

You and I know this scripture. Mark chapter nine, verse

twenty three. Sometimes I really think that shouldn't be doing

scites because if we seldom to our Bible, it's true,

our friends, So if you're not me pitching before, I'm

so sorry. I don't go by points. I can't formulate

my top process or one, two, three, four or five.

Mine is really like like like like like a sealer

ball like that, Friends, you put everything that you mix

it up and come out delicious on all right? So

Mark chapter nineverse twenty three says Geza, if you can believe,

all things are possible to him who believe? Friends? When God,

when Jesus was saying this, he's one thing. The word

this is that to pause for a moment you think

about it. Pause for a moment in the midst of

your disappointment, your anger, your your hurt, or your success. Okay,

I won't say I'm not saying that over but pause

for a moment. Jesus said that if you can believe.

I want you to just think for a moment. What

did Jesus mean by if you can believe? And what

does it take for us to believe? Because when God

spoke to Abraham when Abraham was old, and God said

to Abraham, you shall have a child even though you

are a very old age. Right, you should have a child,

even though you're very old age. So this is the

moment whereby you just said, if you can believe, so

God has already given you a promise. You read God's word,

you receive a promise, right, So receiving the promise is

one thing. Believing in the promise is a separate thing altogether.

That so a lot of us here have really good

scripture that we receive and we open the word of

the Lord. For example, promise up the tree. Trust is

not all your heart and not your own understanding. Right,

we love that scripture. We always quote it. Right in

all you always acknowledged, acknowledge him, and he shall direct you,

and we love direction. That's why we are so dependent

on race telling us where to go, be sure to take.

We're very dependent friends. So the question is is that

it's not because there's absence of the promise. The promise

is there, so Jesus if you can believe. So what

does it take for us to believe? What does it

take for us to believe? For example, that on the

wedding day there will be a groom and a bride

at the front. They make the decision to tie the

we begin to age, one of the things we discover

was this is that you find that you know your

bones reminds you, sounds of movement by walking, reminds you

sometimes that you are aging. So this is Abraham, friends,

every day he wakes up being reminded by his body.

That is oh right. And this is the Lord God

who had a relationship with Abraham. Say that you shall

have a son. All right now, I want you to imagine.

Right now, God gives you a promise. God gives you

a promise, and there you are. You shall have a son,

America's son. And here you are being reminded that you're

old and naturally it's impossible to have it. And many

times why there is no breakthrough, why we stop believing,

it's because we keep looking at the natural. We keep

looking at the natural. If you keep going on the natural,

that's why we don't go by faith. Second Corinthage, chapter five,

I think verse seven says that we walk by faith

and not by sight. Come on, so Abraham, friends, even

though he received the promise of God, fris promise of

God that his body is being he's being reminded by

his body on the daily basis, you're oh impossible right.

Look at your wife, she's all as well impossible. Look

around you. Has anyone of your age had a break

through before? Everything around him is no? Everything around him

is impossible. But the Bible encourages us as believers. You

are supposed to walk by That's why we're supposed to

what by faith first. In other words, even though we

are oh, doesn't mean that we won't conceive. Come on,

the world of God is a seat and we are

the ground. Doesn't mean that although we are oh physically

doesn't mean that we won't experience and enjoy the promise

of God who define and say that just because it's

the natural environment like that, and therefore you are supposed

to live like that. If you know the history of

our church, our church has always been this that. Whyever,

the Lord says we will do and that's why we

don't normally follow the normal convention normal ways of doing

church mea doing church meaning to say this is that.

But there was a time where whereby owning our building

as a good thing, we want bigger facilities and stuff

that we very nice to have bigger facilities. Could you

make the bigger facilities, can do more and stuff like that, Right,

But the Lot told us that you shall not have

you own building therefore, but you shall plan many smaller

churches around. I want you to imagine that, right, because

of the the way God spoke, we follow friends and

people asking that, But how could this be as a

church service that you come to In some church plans

that we have around, it's only one guitar and one

worship leader. I'm sure there are dasts like that identity, right,

and that doesn't fit into the normal way of what

a service is. Right. Number one, Sometimes be reminded you're

all already I'm not picking up other people. Friends. Okay,

I'm speaking to my life. You're of this age, therefore

you cannot go for mission trip. It's true. First, I

haven't heard it before. You have not heard it there

because of leadership, I have someone told me before. How

does someone say that, oh, I cannot go for mission

trip God, or you cannot speak the language, therefore you

cannot go it. And because of that, we live in

these boundaries of site. Come on, we live in this

boundary of site. And that's and that's why sometimes there's

always so big true or sometimes there is no supernatural

because we allow ourselves to be hijacked by site. Come on.

And Abraham did not allow the sight to hijack him.

The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the

word of God. Hamm on. Faith comes by hearing and

that it's not because believers are not hearing God's words.

It's the time when you hear God's word. Is how

We make critical decisions where to study when we are awake.

We look at the farm, we look at the cost,

where to work when we are awake, what to do

when we are awake, And many times because we are awake,

we need to make really good decisions. That's why we

need the word of the Lord. And my cashment has

always been this is that try to do it in

the morning, because in the morning were very I help you,

of so many happens when we are awake, we need

the word of the Lord come on. So faith comes

often when I talk to people and when they say

that I just read my Bible before I sleep, I say, fantastic.

Good to end your day with God's word. Fantastic. But

could I challenge you and read God's Word in the

morning before you do anything else, before you make critical decision,

because could you imagine where you go in your life?

What you do in your life happens when you're awake.

The decision make you awake. Don't you need the wisdom

from the Lord, the understanding from the Lord to make Really?

The Word is that God, is this where you want

me to go? And that's why we need his word,

and that's why we need faith to come into our

spirit and our heart. So faith comes at hearing and

hearing the word of God. But many times when faith comes,

what happens we go to sleep after that we receive faith.

Nothing wrong with thinking, not even we read the Bible

before you see it. But when you wake up, when

you wake up in the morning, if you don't have

the input, very hard to make good decisions because we

get the words that hijacked by different situation car battery,

and the heart in our spirit when we get angry

at very little things altogether, that erupts us again. I

like the use the world because too many Christians allow

things to be hijacked in their life. People don't say

about it for I can't blame it because maybe he

had a bad day friends, or maybe that he doesn't

believe the word good morning anymore. I met another person

say no need to celebrate birth day is la after allward,

there's too many birthdays who remember and stuff that right,

And maybe he had a bad experience. I don't know,

maybe nobody remembers it happens one But that doesn't mean

that you should stop celebrating other people's birthday or any

will say you for the matter. So faith comes out

hearing and hearing the word of God. And that's why

you and I and the Bible says anything is possible

for those who believe. So when you read God's word, friends,

it speaks to you like Abraham, you should have a son.

Anything is possible to those who believe. Now, Abraham, after

he received the word, friends, the miracle did not come.

The very next day the wife say that I'm pregnant

after some time. Friends, I'm sure that's why. If you

look at Romans chapter four, Friends, you look at Romans

chapter four, right, there is a part that says that

Abraham did not waiver, did not the words, that he

wasn't shaken. He was step fast. He's surrendered that thing

to the Lord. And many times our journey, when God

gives you a promise before the actual thing that happens

that resists, I will say a time zone that you

and I have to go in one to know that

it is God, to know that for real, there is

the Lord that leads you and guide you. When we

were doing church the earlier days, we have many prophets

that came away. You shall be a blessing to the nation.

We were a small wheel of fifty and all we

could think of the nation is called Tobanjaya because you

can't see beyond how it's going to translate. We cannot

see that one day we'll plan in UK or Melbourne

and Memoir or in Thailand. We couldn't see that. All

we could see was Subjaya, Praise the Lord. I remember

one time a prophector came to our church and he's

quite shocked with the perfectic gift. You say that one

day God's going to give you back then, okay, a

TV ministry that you will impact the globe. We never

we understood it because all this was in our plans

and desire. We prepaid, but we can't imagine back then.

This was about about twenty years ago, right, the power

part of my home to be with a lot really

twenty years ago when when it came, and how it's

going to look like, because you and I know that

TV ministry costs millions and we didn't have millions. We

didn't have million hairs. That's it some of us anyway, right,

But we couldn't imagine how it's going to look like.

And back then we were saying, oh person halu, yeah,

and we were looking out for the donation that come our way, enveloped,

what envelope come away? God spoke to us, and this

is a check for one million to study your TV ministry.

Nothing happened. Nothing of that sort happened. Friends. Between the

promise and the actual realizing the promise, there's a period

that you and I have to go to the Abraham.

Would you waivor would you shake in your belief in

your in your call or not, whether you want to

see the Lord's delivered or not? Or you try to

engineer like Abraham to Sarah that told Abraham, I'm already

so therefore I give you my maid. And many times

in our life allow we engineer a break through and

give God the glory. After that we engineered something and

Many years after that, friends, people came along our way,

join us and stuff that. We have our media team

and media arm right now, and that's why you see

a lot more things happening and coming away. But the

truth of the matter will be this that just because

it doesn't happen in the first week after you see

the promise, would you still hold or not? We sing

of God's goodness in our worship song. Right Just because

you go back home and there are tensions at home

doesn't mean that God's goodness is not evident. Let me

just point you out a particular character. His name is

Thomas Jeoorge up to twenty verse twenty four Jeohge up

to twenty verse twenty four. Now Thomas caught a twin

one of the trailers not with them, and Jesus came.

This was a scenario. Was a time whereby Jesus came

to the other disciples, but Thomas wasn't there. He missed out.

Maybe had other appointments, but he missed out. And twenty

five the other disciples therefore say to him, we have

seen the Lord. We have seen the Lord. What an

amazing feet we have seen God resurrected. And this is

so typical of Thomas. So he said to that unless

I see in his hands the print of the nails,

I thought that would be enough. But no, not not enough.

To see the print of the nails. I have to

put my finger into the prints of the nails. There's

one thing about seeing. It's like I show you the wound,

really show your wound is really not Let me try

to put that wound right. Put my finger to the

print of the nails and put my hand into his side.

I will not believe. And too many times, Frends, if

you look, I've read through this many times before. And

the Lord just reminded me this that have we ever

got to a place whereby unless we see it with

our own eyes, we won't believe. For example, sav you

are just a couple of days ago at homes. At homes,

we just celebrated someone's birthday and the person say, uh so,

someone asking the homies, how are you twenty years old?

And the person got shot, what you're only twenty That

means almost you're born in year two thousand and five.

At least one was laughing, you're borny in your two

sa we are much younger than they are. You're born

in your two thousand and five and someone say you

have two thousand and five, I'm figuring where to go

what to do with my job? Right, And the very

moment we were saying that what happened in your two

thousand and five, like, for example, how you may or

may not know your two thousands just before your two

thousand that's something called almost or so anticipating that the

whole banking system will fail. Remember those days the white

two que and stuff like that, right, we were like, yeah,

it's very different back in the eighties, very very different.

You seldom see young people on stage, very rare, in fact,

maybe one out of every twenty or the teachers back

in Malaysia by the eighties, majority of that has to

be thirty in the birth right, preferably without hair for

But back then, friends, in those days, we have people

that held onto faith, they believed, and we tell people

that things happened, the Holy Spirit came moved in the

hearts of the people. Some you may or may not

have experience before healing and delivering service. Right, people get manifested, manifestation,

We prayed, people get delivered and because of all these

as us begin to share with you. I know that

people there, but that is back in the eighties or nineties.

You know, now it's different, and just like the Bible

here Thomas said, unless I see you with my own eyes,

I won't belief. Unless I see my own eyes, I

won't belief. Back in the early sixties and seventies, God

moved in a powerful way throughout the whole globe of

Love Healing Evangelist. They went around a lot of miracles

that took place. Cancered, healed, black eyes, open, death, can

hear again. As we are talking about this, sometimes our

faith go like, yeah, but that was back in the

eighties or nineties or something, say unless I see my

own eyes, this is just your story. It was almost

like going to homes. You go to homes, there's always

a facilitated facilitator, someone teaching the word, and just because

you know the person teaching the way, you go like, okay,

I know what's it. He's going to read that from

the slights and this is it, And this is what

happens with our faith. Our faith gets tagnant after a while,

like Thomas friends, Thomas did not start his journey of

faith being stagnant. In your friends. If you look at

Johnt eleven, he was, in fact very bored and very

courageous when Jesus said that I'm going to go to

Jurism to pray for someone I may be stolen, I

may be put to death. And Thomas said this to Jesus,

we will go together with you and will die together

with you. Think about that. Could you imagine right now

being next to Thomas Thomas, you want to go or die?

And many times our faith in our journey we start

very moore and very courageous. But after a while, between

lot of thing have taken place, and God will bring

every believer through a journey and friends, yes, one point

time you'll pray for your exam one point time you'll

pray for something. But when things get a bit bigger,

challenges to get a bit bigger. God will bring your

faith and put it to a test. Soon that you

know that your faith is genuine and is real. Come on,

and too many times we are like Thomas, God, I

need this, then therefore I can believe. I need this

to happen. Therefore I can believe well but believing. First, first,

I want to encourage you. Don't be like Thomas warts

and there that says that God, I wanted to see

your wounds. If I do, if you show me all these,

from John chapter twenty seven. He says, say, reach your

finger here and look into my hands. And reach your

unbelieving but believing. Do not be unbelieving but believing. Friends,

As I'm going to challenge you in the next ten minutes,

I just want to encourage us that as we grow

in our physical age and also spiritual age, it requires

us to believe even more. It really requires us to

believe even more. Who said that young people couldn't rise

up and go for a mission trip. Think about it,

taking ten days off to Melbourne and us and trusting

God for finances. When we did the church earlier days,

you know, one of the things that we prayed this

is that we become in a real more than an

example to many many believers out there. You know one thing,

one thing is to have all the facility given to us.

The other things that with what facilities that you have,

you use it for the glory of God. God removed

my team miracles. I shared. I share the story with

all before shared again because it's worth sharing. I remember

one time that our musicians was complaining about keyboard, our keyboard,

our keyboards. Oh, we couldn't have fought really good keyboard

becauld Afford a baby caught back then small and they

say it's not as nice as you know, full set

keys and stuff like that. One time an Indonesian youth

Ben came to our church use our self instruments, ourself system,

and everyone say that it sounds so beautiful, something so anointed.

And the next day and our team play it, it

didn't sound the same and we see what happened and

past I have the address. Everyone just say, look, it's

not the equipment in the first place is the spirit.

There's a spirit of what you carry. And like Thomas,

like that if you're only depending on what you see,

because what you see will project the imagery that you want.

And that's why there is no break through. And many

times it's our journal of faith. Have we not been

so critical? Like Thomas as well? Did you get homes again?

He's always falling asleep. I can't imagine what time the

homes were Annually preaching fantastic can go for a larger child,

and sometimes we allow sight to The word is drive

the way we make decisions, drive the way we live

by faith. Heaven me and God's reminding us again, do

not be unbelieving, but belief. And He ended this life.

Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe. Come on,

But when God speaks, friends, the reality where God deposits

I remember when we had a missions camp, missions camp

up to the front say God, I want to be

a missionary for you. I want to respond to the

may not know his background. You may not see now

sent around the world back then for software engineering and

stuff like that, different places and different nations. And I

always ask the country you're going, can you help me

to buy some stuff please? I need some Christian book

not well, they stop serving. Now. I understand that some

physical imitation and stuff like that, but some of you

may or may not know. Recently, we have one of

this call of God was still studying a lot. Say

serve me full time after you graduate. It's not the person.

It's a dropout from college or so please understand, majority

of full time people that are serving right now working

in our church all got double degrees on the majority

of them. Okay, just in case you think that if

you drop out from school, can all study their joy

full time ministry? Okay? No, okay, Salah sala concepts, sala

concept Okay. So this person just say that God call

me full time. I wrote out the letter, my resume.

I wrote into the organization. The organizations took about six

months of respond because there wouldn't anyway. Can see, I say,

what do you do? Within the six months, I didn't

apply for any other job. I said, why didn't you?

Because I felt God asking me to come in full time.

I got no plan. B. This is my plenty and

plenty alone, and she's part of our team. Right now.

I'm sharing this because something Just because something didn't happen

within one month and you felt God speaking to you,

right and most of us do. Just because the situation

around us hasn't changed yet, doesn't mean that God doesn't

not moving at the background with in your fence I

want you to do. That doesn't mean that God is

orchestrating something else behind you. But you're gonna have to

go through the journey like Abraham with the promise and

the things he has done for you. Come on, remember

all all the things He have done for you. The

Bible says, when we are faithless, he remains faithful. Come on, right,

come on, isn't it true? We are we wished that

be could be like Abraham, don't be able in faith.

But in all on the steeve fences we are like

more like Peter like that, we look around the surrounded.

We're like we're trying to drink all the seawater so

that we can on right ground right well like Peter

like that. It's not focusing on Jesus. We're looking at

the waves and we are drowning. But not many people

like Abraham like they're just focusing on God, focused on

goodness of God. But you and I need to remember

his goodness. When we were in our campus years, God

came true for you in your studies. He came true

for you. Although it's just studies, back there was very

big tom that was a world for us. If you're

a college student, when you became, you're working a doubt,

praying for directions opening, and God opened the door for you. Yes,

right now, you wish another door could be opened because

you don't really like where you are. But the journey

of this is that God opened those doors. If God

is so faithful and so good, his goodness doesn't stop

because we are faithless. Come on, I pray that if

you don't become faithless, and don't become that in the

Book of Judges, that we just ignore the Lord, worship

other gods that come back to Him only because you

I think in one Book of Judges one one time

they miss out seven years in prison, seven years in captivity,

seven years, seven years. Could you imagine what can you

do in seven years in the Lord? So focus on God,

remember his goodness all this time. Friends, like Abraham, even

though physically unable, he held onto God's promise. As I close, Friends,

as I close, I just want to remind you again,

just to encourage you again. As we grow older in life,

we just have to hang on to God a bit more. Really,

you had to hang on to a lot a bit more,

because you know why. It is goodness and his mercy

that will carry us. There's things will happen in our life,

curve balls, you know, and stuff like that. It does happen,

in church growth. It's now we are really great leaders

in the sense of that we know how to properly

do lead people. You just trusted the Lord, which is say, God,

by just ordering people, which will give us wisdom what

to do? Would you teach us what to do? And

we just depend on the lot and sometimes we get

it correct. Something you don't get all decisions correct. Say God,

give us a grace to walk through those bad decisions

or poor decision. And Lord has been so faith for

all these years. And why we want go the discipleship

us because we realize more and more people these days

don't really get the word of the Lord. They have

a concept of faith, amish of faith, but they have

not had the reality of faith in their life. And

when things happen, When things happen, faith is the first

thing that goes out of the window. I share this

is the first service of the reasons why we started

extra earlier days because we had a lot of youth leaders,

my leaders back then on fire for the Lord. But

when it came here with the only way for them

to progress all in their career is to give up faith.

To give up faith, to give up faith, and to

make time for all the other business meeting on Sunday.

And because of that, many of them left the faith.

That God's only rail in the campus or the school time,

not wearing the young, not wearing the working world. And

this morning the Law wants remind us again he's real
