  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Do you believe that you are a prized possession of God? Yes, okay,

  4. only some of you believe that. Some of you, like

  5. I don't think so, right, And this is found in

  6. the world of God.

  7. This is in the Word of God. And I will

  8. show it to you shortly.

  9. And you know it's important for us to understand this,

  10. and because it will.

  11. Set you for this year. Is that okay?

  12. It's gonna set you for your twenty twenty for how

  13. you want to live it. It's gonna be different from

  14. twenty twenty four, right, but it's important how we set

  15. it up, all right?

  16. Okay, So let's go to the next light. Let's go now.

  17. The words set apart, set apart, right, It's found in

  18. this Hebrew word called kardash. Can you say this, kardash kardash?

  19. Okay? Great? You let one he Brew it today haradash.

  20. Now, many times in the Bible you will see in

  21. different parts.

  22. What does it mean to be set apart? Okay?

  23. You can see it's to content create. How many of

  24. you have read this word in the Bible before? To

  25. content create.

  26. Do you know what it means to say, oh, you

  27. are a clever st todent?

  28. Okay, to set apart? What other usage is there to prepare?

  29. Do you know? Preparation is also part of being set apart?

  30. All right?

  31. What else to dedicate? Have you ever dedicated anything to

  32. the Lord in your life?

  33. Let me children? You know what.

  34. We dedicate our children, right, but we never dedicate ourselves.

  35. Right You're like, okay, my children can go save the Lord, but.

  36. What about me? Oh? Okay, getting hot sooner? Think about it? Okay,

  37. I mean I'm gonna think about it.

  38. Right. If you've never dedicated anything to the Lord before,

  39. what are you going to dedicate to the Lord this year?

  40. Okay?

  41. That is my call to action for each of you

  42. right now? You know the thing is right, If you

  43. want to be effective for the Lord, you have to.

  44. Set apart yourself for the Lord. Right.

  45. So, if you've never dedicated anything of your life, any

  46. part of your life to God before, I think it's

  47. time to start, all right, Okay, to separate that is

  48. also an act of being setting apart, all right.

  49. So when you you know, it's like I always use

  50. this analogy. You know, some of you at home.

  51. You have your normal everyday plates and dishes that you use, yes, right,

  52. the plastic one that you know broken here and there,

  53. but it's okay, we use every day, right. But you

  54. know that you have this special china where, right, very

  55. special and glass and antique you know find china. Do

  56. you use it every day in a sense? No, but

  57. you set it apart right for special occasion because it's

  58. precious and it's expensive. That's how you set things apart.

  59. You separate it out. You don't put it together with

  60. everything else. Right, Okay, you can go for anything in

  61. your life, all right?

  62. And finally to be holy.

  63. Okay, Now let's go to some scriptures and the first

  64. time this was used in the Bible. You know when

  65. the first time this word kardash was used?

  66. Of course you don't know.

  67. I will tell you this is actually first time this

  68. concept of setting apart came from God.

  69. All right? This is not your idea, not men's idea.

  70. This is God's idea.

  71. So this morning we want to go and understand what

  72. does God want?

  73. Yeah? Is that? Okay? Do you want to know what

  74. God wants? Oh? Actually we're not very interested. No, we

  75. only know what we want.

  76. We sometimes we come to God and we say, God,

  77. you tell me about my life. God, you know, tell

  78. me about my life? And God tell me about which

  79. job actually take?

  80. How many of us actually say, God, what do you think? God?

  81. What which one would you want me to take?

  82. Right?

  83. And as we build our relationship with God.

  84. I think we need to get into a place where it.

  85. Is a real relationship. It's not just about you, right.

  86. And many times when we put our focus on us,

  87. then our focus is not.

  88. On God anymore. All right?

  89. Okay, So let's think about the first time that this

  90. word set upons.

  91. This is word kardash.

  92. Okay, in English, there are many words to try to

  93. describe the usage of it, but kardash is the same

  94. Hebrew word again and again. All right, So let's read

  95. the first time is being used in the Bible wage

  96. Genesis chapter two.

  97. Is it early and on? Oh? Very early in the Bible?

  98. God had this idea already.

  99. Okay, So let's read Genesis chapter two, verse three. Let's

  100. read this together, right? Three two one? God bless the

  101. seventh day and sanctified it because in it he rested

  102. from all his work which he God had created and made.

  103. So what is the word for set apart.

  104. Here, sanctified kadash is sanctified here. What do you understand

  105. by this word scientified special something that you set apart? Right?

  106. So I'm very blessed to know that all of you

  107. here set apart your Sunday.

  108. Amen, And that's why you're here. You have made okay.

  109. So it's maybe it's wrong for me to say none

  110. of you have said apart something. We are all here

  111. means we are learning the principle of setting apart some things,

  112. meaning Sundays is untouchable.

  113. By other things. Because why God also set things apart.

  114. You know, God work for six days, right, and he

  115. says on the seventh day he rested, and he sanctified

  116. this special day and until today, this principle needs to

  117. be practiced by all of us.

  118. Right.

  119. Is there a setting a part of a day where

  120. you're not focused on trying to make ends meet or

  121. you know, doing different.

  122. Things, but you're just saying, God fully, my focus on

  123. this day is for you. It doesn't matter where it's

  124. a Sunday, Saturday, Friday. Whenes say it.

  125. Doesn't matter, okay, is setting apart one day of the

  126. week to say God, this is for you all right,

  127. So sanctification is setting apart. Okay, let's go to the

  128. next usage. Let's go let's see the next verse. Now, oh, okay,

  129. I love this verse. Let's go to Exodus chapter thirteen.

  130. So this is all in the first parts of the Bible.

  131. All right, we saw Genesis, now we saw Exodus. It's

  132. used a lot in the book of Exodus. Exodus chapter thirteen,

  133. Verse two, he says, this right, consecrate to me all

  134. the firstborn. Whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel,

  135. both of men and bees, it is.

  136. Yours, No, it is God.

  137. What can we learned from this principle? Why did God

  138. want the firstborn? Why do you think the first bone

  139. is special?

  140. Any idea? Why do you think God wants the firstborn? Wow?

  141. I love Daniels. Can you please give him a plus?

  142. You hear it? He says, because it is the best.

  143. Yeah.

  144. Oh, then or the second bond? Bond?

  145. I oh, howladar. Sorry, I'm also second born. Okay, I'm

  146. not firstborn. So there's second child, that child?

  147. What about me?

  148. No, this is firstborn to the mother. All right, every

  149. animal sacrifice. Do you know that God is always looking

  150. after the first in the whole Bible. Right when you

  151. look at the history, there is always can and able.

  152. But you see, even though there is this principle of

  153. setting apart the first bond, then God also changes around.

  154. And since the youngest yourself the older, right, so guess what, younger, children, you.

  155. Also go apart to play?

  156. Okay, don't no escape on not in God, there is

  157. no escape. But you see the principle of first. And

  158. do you know what tiding means? What is tidying to you?

  159. Setting about what your first fruits? First?

  160. It's your first ten percent, not your last and percent?

  161. Children?

  162. God, Yes, it's like whenever you get your salary, your

  163. guardian for the man, the first thing.

  164. That you do is you set apart for God.

  165. That is the principle. Do you see that now? We

  166. understand that in tidying. And you know, I think we

  167. heard this before as well. People say, but what if

  168. you know I cannot afford to give anything?

  169. You know, I'm already earning very low. It's a principle.

  170. And do you know that in God's kingdom, when you

  171. practice the principle, you will read the harvest. Yeah, it's

  172. not so much about whether you're earning ten thousand ringgate

  173. or you're earning one hundred ringgate is the principle, right,

  174. a principle saying God, I you know why I've learned.

  175. I've learned that it's not so much the legalistic part

  176. of all. It must be ten percent. It's your heart.

  177. God is looking into your heart and he's using that

  178. to say, Okay, I set this up to test your heart.

  179. Do you know that God is testing us? This? Probably

  180. don't lie, writy God, what you must test us?

  181. I'm sure you know that.

  182. In the story of Abraham, as he was offering up Isaac, Hello,

  183. ready to kill his first born and that time only child,

  184. and God said, you know, out of this child, I

  185. will give you the nations. You know, you look at

  186. the stars and that will be your dissenters like, hello,

  187. now you want to kill my.

  188. Only child, true Sarah. But Abraham just obeyed.

  189. It wasn't obedience to God's word. That's what the commandments are.

  190. And then as he was doing it, God says, okay,

  191. get read.

  192. Now I know you're serious with me a church of God?

  193. Are you serious with God or Earth? Do you want

  194. to see breakthroughs? You know, as we were worshiping earlier

  195. on you know. God just told me, hey, let's get serious.

  196. We got this yere. I think God wants to set

  197. you free. Amen. God wants to set.

  198. Us free from our old ways. God wants to set

  199. us anew in His ways. And to do that we

  200. need to have this principle of setting apart.

  201. Do you know?

  202. God can want God can do the breakthrough for you,

  203. but you will have to set yourself apart first.

  204. He cannot set you apart if you don't set yourself apart.

  205. So you guess what. There is a responsibility. There is

  206. a choice that we need to make now. Right, So

  207. would you are you willing? What else is the first

  208. first fruit of what you have? Easy to talk about money?

  209. Right? Your salary or allowance?

  210. Students, you also get money right, it's also your income. Right?

  211. Are you learning the principle of setting apart for the Lord?

  212. Another one that I want to touch on your time? Time?

  213. How are you setting apart your first fruit for the Lord?

  214. When is your first fruit of your time for the Lord?

  215. Can you tell me.

  216. When you first wake up right now, when you come

  217. into an awareness and like.

  218. Oh this is a new day, then what is your

  219. first fruit? It's your first I.

  220. Would say, even your first fifteen to twenty minutes of

  221. the day.

  222. How are you setting that apart for the Lord?

  223. You think about your routine right now, what do you

  224. do the first ten minutes of your time?

  225. Some people say, go brush tea, right, go toiler first. Okay, okay,

  226. do all that first. But then what after that?

  227. What?

  228. Tell me? Tell me all guilty?

  229. Right, because the first thing that we will reach out

  230. to is our and phone. Then we want to see

  231. what's going on the whole night that you were sleeping. Right,

  232. what's viral? Now?

  233. What do I miss out? I don't know?

  234. Okay, this is your choice, this is your life. I

  235. can't see it, but the Lord sees it. So if

  236. you want to get serious and say, God, I really

  237. want to set apart myself for you, they say, you

  238. think about it, right, like this year if you want

  239. it to be different, you want to be different just

  240. for you? Or do you want to really seriously take

  241. charge and take territory for the Kingdom of God. It

  242. is a choice. It's a choice because we can go

  243. through life same, you know, and guess what, after thirty years,

  244. you're still the same.

  245. So let's set apart this year, right, set it a

  246. right man said it. All right, let's move on.

  247. Let's move on to dedicate hah, okay, let's read Exodus

  248. chapter nineties. I told you all right, this is wor

  249. kardash comes out so many times because it's God's idea.

  250. We're still in Exodus, Exodus, chapter nineteen, Verse three, verse ten.

  251. It says, then the Lord say to Moses, go to

  252. the people and consecrpt them today and tomorrow, and let

  253. them wash their clothes.

  254. What you learn from this? What is part of setting apart?

  255. What is it being clean? Anyone comes without wearing wash clothes?

  256. No? Right?

  257. Why why is cleanliness so important?

  258. You know? If you're very old school, right, there's this

  259. verse that say not verse no, sorry, Not's a proverb

  260. that says a cleanliness is next to godliness.

  261. Jade means if you want to be godly, right, you

  262. got to be clean. Are you clean or not? Oh? Yes, okay,

  263. says the one who showered this morning.

  264. Are if you don't shower this morning, it's okay, you

  265. can repent later.

  266. No, no, but okay, let's be serious. Why is cleanliness

  267. so important to God? Yeah? Yeah, okay? Where are they now?

  268. Right?

  269. Do you? Okay?

  270. So exodus, right is where they just came out where

  271. they just came out of Egypt, right, they're in the

  272. wilderness of sin right now?

  273. Yes, all right?

  274. And and so they are in the desert place. And it's

  275. what have anyone experienced any desert place before?

  276. Oh? Noah? But what can you imagine about a desert does? Does?

  277. And the children of Israel they got a bullet train,

  278. right that they can bring them through the Promised Land

  279. or they got grabbed. No, those days they had to

  280. walk walk with all their animals and produce and you know, cattle,

  281. sheep there go and guess what what do you accumulate

  282. as you walk in a place as full of us?

  283. It's there that how many of you are like really

  284. clean people like really like you know, oh okay, only

  285. one now, only elder man, But the rest of you

  286. are like okay, it's to okay in my household, right,

  287. there's something called a tolerance level.

  288. Right if you you cannot had already right.

  289. Okay, there you have to clean the house. Okay, this

  290. is between me and other people. Okay, so all the years, right,

  291. or it's it's sometimes very hard, no no tolerance. Other

  292. neighbors like cannot one back of that must cleaner ready, right,

  293. So for us we can close eyes to many things,

  294. but sometimes can already right. Cleliness, you know, it's it's

  295. a mindset. You know that mindset. It's a cleanliness. And

  296. in those days, right, if you want to come before

  297. the Lord, do you know that you have to go

  298. and bathe and change your clothes? And you know what

  299. that means because in the act of bathing, right, is

  300. very very sacred because there's no water in the desert.

  301. Hello, No, what God, God, you know got running pipes?

  302. Is it? Got swimming pool?

  303. Can be?

  304. No, don't have water is a precious resource.

  305. And when they shower and when they take their butt

  306. and they change your clothes, they're saying, now I am

  307. ready to meet with my God. Do you prepare yourself

  308. that way when you come before the Lord? It's something

  309. to think about, right, How am I setting and preparing

  310. myself before I meet the Lord? And of course this

  311. is an outward expression, but there's an inward thing that's

  312. going on as all. Right, God seas our heart. God

  313. sees whether we're really preparing or not to come before him.

  314. You know I heard of this testimony or not?

  315. Estimia this this lady, right, she's she used to attend

  316. my homes.

  317. She's still attending my home.

  318. So she said, when she prepares an offering, now now

  319. everyone online on it.

  320. Right, very easy, right, threat, that's it.

  321. No need to prepare anything in before this, we all

  322. had to give offering physically, right, give your cash. I

  323. wonder what is our heart when you prepare it? So

  324. this lady she's us very interesting in her faith, very childlike.

  325. So she says, right, when I give an offering to

  326. the Lord, right, I prepare it. I make sure that

  327. iron the note so there's crisp, and then I give

  328. it unto the Lord. Wow, talk about preparation.

  329. No, you're thinking that har was there. It's not about

  330. the agg but it's about the heart. Do you see that?

  331. So how are you preparing you know, whatever that you're

  332. setting apart for the Lord, whether it's yourself, your time,

  333. your money, how are you giving it unto the lord?

  334. Is it very chin chaichi?

  335. Oh?

  336. Yeah?

  337. God, offering time twenty cents loose change. Let's not preparing, right,

  338. Let's not setting apart something for the Lord. And if

  339. you want to give something special to someone special, you

  340. would think about it. You would really, you know, wrap

  341. things around it, you would really prepare because it's a gift. Amen,

  342. it's a gift. Now I want to read to you something.

  343. Remember I said earlier that you are a gift. God

  344. sees you as a price possession. Okay, let me go

  345. through that. Wait, let me see if there's anything else.

  346. Let's go on to the Okay, another one. I exert

  347. us ninety. Let's do this first.

  348. Exert Us nineteen verse twenty three. Are we are we? Okay?

  349. We are still learning about the concept and the principle

  350. of setting apart, so that at the end of the

  351. day you will know how you can set yourself apart

  352. onto the lot. All right, Just now we talk about

  353. cleanliness is one part of it. We talk about consecration.

  354. All right.

  355. Let's look at Exodus nineteen twenty three. He says, but

  356. Moses say to the lot. Okay, So this is when

  357. the people told Moses to go up to Mount Sinai,

  358. right where he was gonna give the ten commitments. Moses

  359. said to the Lord, the people cannot come up to

  360. Mount Sinai, for you warn us, who warn you? God

  361. warn saying set bounds around the mountains and consecrated. Part

  362. of consecration is creating boundaries. Are they boundaries in your life,

  363. my dear friends.

  364. Any boundaries or not? Or anything goes? Because if anything goes, then.

  365. You are not set apart. You're just like everyone else.

  366. You're just like everyone else. There's no difference if you

  367. don't create certain boundaries in your life. Okay, I'm gonna

  368. talk a little bit about boundaries in a short all

  369. but let's move on, all right. And Exodus twenty eight says,

  370. remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy? What are

  371. the things in your life that is holy? What is

  372. holy in your life?

  373. Think about it.

  374. Life is not just routine. Monday to Friday, I do everything.

  375. Then Saturday is clean house, Sunday is churchday.

  376. And then you go on the cycle like that.

  377. There is this sense of what is holy in my

  378. life every day?

  379. What is holy? Yes? Are you able to say God?

  380. Yes, this is the time, This is a space, this

  381. is a place where I.

  382. Keep holy before you? Amen, Maga, Let's move on. Let's

  383. move on, all right.

  384. So we spoke about this very interesting right, This act

  385. of setting apart has this thing to it.

  386. Right.

  387. Exodus twenty eight, Verse three says this, so you shall

  388. speak to all who are gifted artisans.

  389. All right, So got it? You know this is the

  390. reason why God gave us gift things, and it's very

  391. clearly shown here. He says, whom I feel with the

  392. spirit of wisdom.

  393. Wow, all those of you who are talented gifted, can

  394. you praise God because it is Him who has given

  395. you the wisdom, not yourself. Okay, talent, everything that we have.

  396. Comes from the Lord.

  397. You know, you doing well in your world, you being

  398. able to get that deal breakthrough is the Lord, you know.

  399. Don't think that why very good?

  400. Ah, It is the favor of the Lord that is

  401. with you, and that's why you could go.

  402. You know you can achieve success.

  403. It is we must remember where all this comes from, right,

  404. And so that's why this process of setting apart is

  405. constantly saying God, this is from you, this.

  406. Is all you, and this is for you. We forget

  407. that part. We always forget that this goes back to Him.

  408. We are setting our sells for who for a neighbor.

  409. It's for God. Yeah.

  410. He says that whom I feel with the spirit of wisdom,

  411. that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him. Now,

  412. Aaron was a priest, right priest that was appointed by God,

  413. and that he may minister to me as priest. But

  414. you see, just because he's anointed by the Lord, it

  415. doesn't mean that he just comes up like that.

  416. There needs to be an anointing. There needs to be

  417. a preparation.

  418. Again, when I talk about set apart, there's this whole

  419. idea of preparing. And that's why we always tell our

  420. worship team, Hey, before you can lead people into the

  421. worship of God, you need to be worshiping at home first. Yes, extreme,

  422. anyone who's leading, anyone who's chairing, anyone who's serving, ex kids,

  423. even on sound. Do you know that it's not just

  424. a technical skill that you're displayed or using. You're serving

  425. the Lord. And so for therefore the act of preparation.

  426. Are you worshiping at home? That becomes key, you know why,

  427. because that's the one that's gonna make the difference, that's

  428. gonna make the difference between us being here being filled

  429. with the spirit of God. And that's what I really

  430. pray for every Sunday that we come that this place

  431. is not just a physical space, it's.

  432. A spiritual atmosphere.

  433. Amen it's a spiritual atmosphere that when we come into it,

  434. we're gonna break bonds.

  435. We're gonna set people free. Healing is gonna take place. Amen.

  436. Do you believe it or not? Or do you come

  437. to church just to feel up the seas? What fall?

  438. Then just go home? You must come. You're expecting God.

  439. You are going to move in the spirit because we

  440. are battling not against flash, but against principalities.

  441. Hello, can I tell you that that's very real?

  442. If you don't see your physical eyes, then I pray

  443. God will open your spiritual eyes.

  444. Do you know?

  445. Sometimes we are so bound by our habits. We're bound

  446. by our unforgiveness. We are bound by you know, laziness.

  447. That's a spirit you're bound.

  448. Can a Christian be bound? Oh? Yes, oh yes, we

  449. need to be set free.

  450. We need to set free so that we can go

  451. and be the person the being that God wants us

  452. to be. A man. I don't want us to like

  453. live back in the you know. And sometimes it's very

  454. easy for me as well, right to fall under the

  455. excuse of but this is who I am, this is

  456. my background. I don't know anything better. You know, it's

  457. so easy to fall into the excuse. But when we

  458. come into this place of faith, we are in the

  459. business of faith.

  460. Church. It's all about faith. And I pray that every

  461. time you come to church, every time.

  462. You leave, your faith arise. Amen, it's no longer just

  463. like it's not a rational thing.

  464. Guys. Faith is not rational, it's irrational, but it is

  465. of God. What a gift, Amen, Our faith is gift

  466. is you know.

  467. It's no matter how challenging your circumstances are, no matter

  468. how difficult, how you might think that everything is lost, hope.

  469. This is where you get home. Church, the people of God,

  470. the Word of God, the Word of God.

  471. You know, there's something special about corporate worship, about being

  472. together like this that God. You know, God calls the

  473. people to congregate together at the Temple of God. There's

  474. a reason, there's a reason why we are here as

  475. a corporate worship because God is pleased with this, and His.

  476. Presence manifests strongly in this place. Amen.

  477. So I pray that every time now you will have

  478. a different mindset as you come, as you go for

  479. your home our small groups. Do you think it's just

  480. a time of fellowship, I pray it will not be

  481. so because fellowship will not set you free. Fellowship will

  482. not save you or your neighbor. Oly Jesus and the

  483. Spirit of God, do you know what I long for?

  484. I really pray that science and wonders will follow the

  485. preaching of His word. Amen. I'm not a person who

  486. says all signs and one that's long gone. Today we

  487. just go by the rationale. No, I want to see

  488. the dead rise. I want to see the lame heal

  489. can walk and praise the Lord.

  490. Do you do you desire that or not? Do you

  491. want to dud? It starts with a desire in mind.

  492. We don't see it yet, but let's pray. Let's pray

  493. that when people come they say, I'm sick, you know,

  494. just have the healing.

  495. Our prayer is because they believe. Do you believe or not?

  496. Do you believe that God can do the miraculous? That's supernatural.

  497. Don't under the natural, because if we are natural, then

  498. we are not different from anyone else.

  499. What's the difference? No difference? Right?

  500. But God has caught us out of darkness into his

  501. marvelous life.

  502. So are we living as though we are full of light? People?

  503. God, we need to as you go back Chinese or

  504. this year. Let you be the light. Don't just be

  505. anyone else. Now, let it be a difference in you. Amen,

  506. How can you be that different?

  507. Think about it? Assignment for you this week as you

  508. are together with.

  509. Your family, some of them are not believers yet, how

  510. will you make a difference to them?

  511. How will they experience you differently? Amen? Hallelia, let's go.

  512. Let's move on.

  513. And this whole process of scientifish scientification can only be

  514. done by the Lord.

  515. Amen.

  516. He says this, There I will with the children of Israel,

  517. and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by our good works,

  518. shall be sanctified by how much I give to the church,

  519. and shall be sanctified by God's glory. So I pray

  520. that every day you're going to see God's glory, because

  521. if you truly want to be sanctified, set apart for God.

  522. Then you have to meet with him. Do you know

  523. how Moses?

  524. Do you know when Moses went up to the mountain

  525. and he came down from the mountain.

  526. What did they have to put over his face? They

  527. have to put a real wye.

  528. Because he was shining so bright. They're like, WHOA, I

  529. can't Tahan. You know, I can't even see Moses face

  530. to face because he was reflecting the glory of God.

  531. Wow, how about that? Children of God?

  532. You know as you go, you know, in your mountain,

  533. you go and meet with God at the mountain. You

  534. come down from that place and when people look at

  535. you're like, whoa so bright? Something different about you, And

  536. that's what's going to get them interested, because you're different

  537. like no one else.

  538. I'm not talking about faesk induccine. Okay. The glory, the

  539. glory Oh God, is what sets us apart. Amen. Imen.

  540. Now let's go on.

  541. Now, there's three parts that I want to give you

  542. with this whole setupart right.

  543. The first one is our identity.

  544. What is being set apart? It speaks about our identity.

  545. Amen.

  546. Okay, Let's read Exodus chapter Let me see yah, Exodus chapter.

  547. Where is my verse? Okay?

  548. Let's go to Exodus chapter nineteen. Okay, are we there?

  549. Exodus chapter nineteen versus. I'm gonna read from verse one

  550. or give you the context of it. In the third month,

  551. after the two of Israel had gone out of the

  552. land of Egypt, right, remember this one fresh out of

  553. the land of Egypt. On the same day they came

  554. to the wilderness of Sinai. All right, not sin Sinai,

  555. wilderness of Sinai, for they had departed from Refferdin had

  556. come to the wilderness of Sinai and camp in the wilderness.

  557. So Israel came there before the mountain, and Moses went

  558. up to God. And the Lord called to him from

  559. the mountain, saying, thus you shall say to the house

  560. of Jacob and tell the children of Israel.

  561. This is the word of the Lord. You have seen

  562. what I did to.

  563. The Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagle's wings

  564. and brought you to myself.

  565. Wow. God wants to bring you to himself Verse five.

  566. Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and

  567. keep my covenant, then you shall be a.

  568. You shall be a. You shall be a.

  569. Is this my word? It is God's word? Whose idea

  570. is this? God says, you will be.

  571. My special treasure. Wow.

  572. Can you tell your neighbor you are God's special treasure.

  573. We don't think of it sometimes, but you know that

  574. we are. Every soul, every person is precious to God.

  575. And God says, you know, you know when he pronounced

  576. it right, it's real. Do you believe God's word?

  577. It's truth? Right, it is a truth?

  578. And this is He says, you shall be a special

  579. treasure to me above all people. Whoa isn't that setting

  580. you apart? It means that you're not like the rest? Okay,

  581. it means you're not like the eight billion people on earth.

  582. It means you are special.

  583. You'll elevated for all the earth is mind, is the

  584. earth the lords?

  585. Yes or not? It is? But you will be above

  586. because you're God's special treasure. Let's move on to verse.

  587. But do you know there's a condition there? I know

  588. sometimes we go I'm you know there's this whole part

  589. about unconditional love of God.

  590. Yes, all right, I just want to bring some balance

  591. to it.

  592. Is that Okay, God really loves us, he does. But

  593. there is a condition in this being God's special treasure.

  594. What is that condition?

  595. If there is an if you're my dear friends, if

  596. you read the word of God, there is an if

  597. so meaning if you if you.

  598. Don't follow this part, what happens? You will not?

  599. Yes, it's either if you follow or if you don't.

  600. Follow, yes or not? Is it very clear? Then no

  601. one will notice?

  602. Right?

  603. If you follow.

  604. If you obey my commandments, then you shall be. So

  605. we need to ask ourselves are we obeying the word

  606. of God? Are we obeying all the commandments? But maybe

  607. first you have to ask yourself, what are the commandments?

  608. If I don't know the commandments, how to obey?

  609. Right? Okay?

  610. So think about that, think about it all right now.

  611. Many of us when we talk about identity, we like

  612. to preach from first bitter to nine?

  613. Right? And what is first bitter to nine? Okay?

  614. Or you know the not child d but it's not there.

  615. You are the child of God, but it's not. From

  616. first Peter to nine, it talks about you shall be

  617. a kingdom of priest you shall be a royal priesthood,

  618. holy nation.

  619. Yes, yes, yes, are you sort of familiar with that

  620. verse first Peter to nine.

  621. But he didn't start from there, not from Peter. It

  622. started in Exodus. Shall we read that. Let's move on

  623. right in verse six Exodus nineteen. And you shall be

  624. to me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation. These

  625. are the words which you shall speak to the children

  626. of Israel.

  627. Wow.

  628. Do you know that at the beginning when God called

  629. the children of Israel, he already told them you are

  630. going to be my priest, you are going to be

  631. my holy nation. Do you know?

  632. God set them free? And this is a phrase I

  633. want you to think about.

  634. God set us free so he can set us apart. Yes,

  635. he set us free from the bondage of our scene,

  636. from the bondage of our past, so that we can live.

  637. Our own lives. Is it.

  638. No, The setting apart, the setting free of us is

  639. so that we can now be set apart for God's usage.

  640. Before we can be set apart, we need to be

  641. set free for us. Amen, are there free people in

  642. the house? Are you freeing the Lord? And if you're

  643. not free, later we will pray. And I want to

  644. give time. I want to make room for prayer. All right,

  645. I won't take too long. I feel people need to

  646. be set free. There's things in our lives that you know,

  647. only you know, but God knows.

  648. I don't know it.

  649. I really sense God really wants to set people free today.

  650. Whatever it is, you know, it's own mindset. Is it

  651. a habit?

  652. Sometimes we have a habit of lying that's also a habit.

  653. And God wants to set us free. God wants to

  654. set us free from our sickness and our pain. Do

  655. you want to accept your sickness and pain forever? You

  656. want to just leave all? Yeah, I'm already you know

  657. and accept it. But God says I came to kill

  658. your diseases. I came to set you free, forgive your

  659. iniquity and your trespasses.

  660. That's what God wants to do. Amen. We don't have

  661. to live under our circumstances. Amen. As children of God,

  662. we are.

  663. Called overcome us. We are not living under our Circumstansus.

  664. We overcome our circumstances.

  665. Amen. I want you to have that mindset.

  666. I want you to say, this year Lord twenty five,

  667. no matter what news comes, no matter what price they increase, they.

  668. Remove subsidy for patrol.

  669. You know, things are gonna increase, gas price, electricity price,

  670. doesn't matter, whatever.

  671. Comes, I will overcome. I shall overcome in the name

  672. of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. That is what I

  673. want to prepare you for this year. Guys.

  674. You know why, because it's not going to be easy

  675. this year. This year it's fraught with challenges. You want

  676. to talk about political you know, a time and the

  677. season of our life. This is probably the most shakeable error.

  678. Anything that can be shaken will be shaken. Yeah, Jesus

  679. has said that anything that can be shaken will be shaken.

  680. So we've got to prepare ourselves for the shaking.

  681. There are things in our life that God is saying,

  682. I need to shake this out of you so that

  683. I can set you apart to see that there is

  684. going to be a greater plan that God has.

  685. Imen. Do you know, as people of God, right when

  686. we know the Bible, we know the word of God,

  687. we don't have to be afraid. Why are you afraid?

  688. We are afraid because we don't know what's the end.

  689. But can I tell you God told us the end already?

  690. Amen? Do you know what's the end? Okay, you're not sure.

  691. I don't know whether I mean the church or what.

  692. Do you know what's the end? What is the end?

  693. Jesus will come back and he will restore everything in order.

  694. Amen.

  695. It might not be your lifetime, it might not be

  696. your children's lifetime, but he will come and I.

  697. Believe it with all my heart. Everything that is not

  698. right he will set right. How about that?

  699. Jesus says, right when he's back, and that when there's

  700. a new heaven and a new earth.

  701. There will be no more pain, no more sorrows, no

  702. more tears. Hey, hello, that's.

  703. Our promise, you know, that's our inheritance, that's our identity.

  704. So we shouldn't be bogged down by like everyone else. Amen.

  705. Our identity speaks of who we are. Amen.

  706. There's a question around this. Let's go to the question.

  707. Our identity is what sets you apart? So this is

  708. one question for you. What sets you apart? How are

  709. you different from others?

  710. Right?

  711. I mentioned this already in your identity? You think about

  712. it every day. Do they know you as just a teacher?

  713. Do they know you as just a manager, as a staff?

  714. What do they know of you? Or they will say

  715. this is not just another teacher. This teacher is different, different,

  716. This is not just a son or a daughter. This

  717. is a different daughter, a different spirit. Amen. And we

  718. want to be different for the Lord. All right.

  719. So that's our identity now being set apart, Like I said, right,

  720. once you're set free. Now you're set apart. That's your

  721. identity now, right? What is our identity?

  722. Again?

  723. In for Speter Tonight, kingdom off priest a holy nation?

  724. What do priest do intercede and pray?

  725. So children of God, this year your prayer life will

  726. be different.

  727. It's gotta go on another level.

  728. You know, if you started your Christian life as I

  729. give thanks for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and that is

  730. the amount of prayer you have.

  731. Can I encourage you to take it one notch up?

  732. Can I notot? Level it up? A little bit? Level

  733. it up?

  734. Remember we were setting apart our first fruit in the

  735. morning for the Lord.

  736. What are you gonna do? Pray? Yes, pray? Do you know?

  737. You know sometimes I battle with this myself as well, right,

  738. this whole prayer. Then sometimes we have this mindset where

  739. I pray.

  740. So many times, I pray for ten years already nothing happened.

  741. We get this courage, let me say, oh yeah, prayer

  742. doesn't work. Correct, not prayer may not work. It's either

  743. because we are praying for the wrong things. And we

  744. can pray for the wrong things for ten years and

  745. still pray for the wrong things.

  746. The only way we know that is of God is

  747. when we pray according to His will and his word. Right,

  748. his will and his word that one needs to be evident.

  749. God says, Jesus came to seek and save the loss.

  750. So if you're praying for the loss. You're on the

  751. right track. Don't give up, don't give up. Don't give

  752. up yet. Jesus came for them, and so our prayer

  753. needs to be targeted. Pray for your neighbors, Pray for

  754. your parents by name. Remember it said God, I need

  755. to break through, you know, prayer right? Sometimes the image

  756. that I have right, it's like, you know, there's a war.

  757. Do you know what great Wall of China? Even if

  758. you've not been there, can you imagine how great that

  759. wall is? But every time you prayer, you're hitting against it.

  760. Do you know that after many, many, many, many, many

  761. persistent prayers, there's going to be a crack? Yeah, it

  762. doesn't happen overnight. Right, cracks in your house? Anyone got

  763. cracks in your house?

  764. Oh? Yes?

  765. Then you're saying, how come they they never built properly? Right,

  766. my roof is leaking now, Okay. Things that you want

  767. them to build properly, they never be properly. And then

  768. there's a crack. Why Because there is a constant, persistent

  769. rain or whatever it is that keeps on coming at it.

  770. Do you know our prayer is like that, We keep

  771. coming at it, we keep coming.

  772. At it, against this disease, against it's saying that we

  773. keep coming and we say God, no, no, you are above,

  774. we are not beneath. God, Your name is more powerful

  775. than cancer. We keep going at it, and one day

  776. it will break, Amen.

  777. And Jesus and received that.

  778. Those of you who are praying for something say God,

  779. I'm gonna continue until something breaks. I'm gonna pray until

  780. something breaks.

  781. Amen. And sometimes the breaking is us. Yeah, he breaks

  782. us first. And that's not a pleasant It's not something

  783. that you want, right.

  784. But do you know that anything that is worthwhile is

  785. time spent on your knees, anything that is special, anything

  786. that is important, you will go down on your knees

  787. for if you're desperate enough. So the question is are

  788. you desperate? Are you desperate for the things that matters most?

  789. You know when everything else.

  790. Is gone and done, and that's the right.

  791. Would have everything that you have put your time to,

  792. would it have been useful? Did you build for yourself

  793. a kingdom of heaven or did you build for yourself

  794. a kingdom on earth? Right? Which is our destiny? And

  795. the question is what are you putting yourself to? What

  796. are you busy with?

  797. Church? What are you busy with? I know we are

  798. busy with work.

  799. Yes, I understand, But in your workplace that can be sanctified,

  800. that can be set apart. Yes, do you know that

  801. your work is set apart for the Lord? It doesn't

  802. matter whether you know. Sometimes it's this mindset and want

  803. to correct that mindset, the mindset that if all you're

  804. in full time your work is more holy. Oh you're

  805. in business that one less holy?

  806. Is that true? Is that true? No? It's not true, because.

  807. What set apart is you, not what you do.

  808. Do you know you can be a very corrupted elder

  809. or pastor of a church. You can't. You don't believe me.

  810. Many examples have gone before us. Sadly, you can be

  811. the best geologian, not everything about a Bible, and still

  812. commit adultery. It's true. Hello, I'm being very real with you.

  813. So it's not so much about your vocation what you do,

  814. it's who you are children of God. Being set apart

  815. is who you are. I would rather have a very

  816. honest butcher than a selfish leader, pastor whatever it is

  817. true or not, And God will see I'm doing my

  818. work with honesty instead of filled with deceit.

  819. And lies and you know, trying to pump yourself up.

  820. Are you enough of that?

  821. La, don't put people on the pedestal, put God on

  822. the pedestal.

  823. Amen, don't, don't don't look up.

  824. I mean, yes, we honor and we respect great men

  825. and women who are before us, but don't idolize them

  826. because you and I, just like them, can easily fall,

  827. can easily fall. And that's why we need to humble ourselves.

  828. I'm speaking to my leaders here. We need to humble ourselves.

  829. Right.

  830. There's this sense of like saying, God, I don't want

  831. to judge others because next one could be me. I

  832. could be the next one if I don't set myself apart,

  833. if I don't obey God's commandment, guess what I'm gonna

  834. work into the devil's trap easily easily. Okay, set about

  835. how are you setting and do you know this process

  836. of setting apart?

  837. It's not just one time once a year, it's.

  838. Not it's every day, right, which is my last point.

  839. First one is our identity. Our identity is we are

  840. kingdom of priests, a holy nation. Think about that as

  841. your identity. Do people see you.

  842. As whoa this one. It's a real prisn this one

  843. and this lady was very holy.

  844. And sometimes we don't want to associate ourselves be holy.

  845. You know, you're like, yeah, very very Christina, very Chynna,

  846. you're very common.

  847. Yes, so one right, so holy.

  848. This one cannot do that, one cannot do this, one

  849. cannot touch Sometimes we are like, yeah, we're piscey pis

  850. s you know, shy. I don't want other people to

  851. know this, but but this is our identity. I will

  852. already say, oh, this person cannot touch this, this person

  853. cannot do bright because it's their principle. I know them

  854. as a righteous Wow. How nice if your clique can

  855. tell you this is an upright man, this is a

  856. righteous woman. WHOA, how about that God just successful, not

  857. very good, not just very good.

  858. We excel, you know what I'm saying.

  859. Not it's not just your skills. Something that wowsome is

  860. this person is set upon.

  861. Exactly. Wow.

  862. People go like, whoa, this person cannot touch the Sundays

  863. one at least for the first two.

  864. Hours because it's for good.

  865. After that work work understand, dead lines, I understand, but

  866. do you know that we need to continue to have

  867. this identity.

  868. Carry around this identity, and we gotta be proud of it.

  869. Church sometimes be very shy of people don't even know

  870. what you do.

  871. No, say, I'm a Christian and I'm a Bible believing Christian,

  872. and I have values and I have principles, our identity,

  873. our destiny.

  874. I told you where we are hating to Church. We

  875. are hating to something that is of God, the Kingdom

  876. of God. I told my children this.

  877. No, don't get so comfortable here on earth. We are

  878. only sojour nurs we are or not asking strangers in

  879. this land. You know you're a stranger here. You feel

  880. like really out of place. Yeah, why because.

  881. It's not home.

  882. Don't get too comfortable on earth, because our final destination

  883. is with the Lord. And do you think God will

  884. just welcome all of you and say, Okay, We're just

  885. gonna sing song to God every day for the last

  886. for the next.

  887. Three million years.

  888. No, God says I want you to now reign over

  889. the remember Genesis or not? What do you God say,

  890. take dominion over the earth? Now, Christians are not having

  891. dominion over the earth. And that's why it's messed up.

  892. All this is messed up when Jesus comes out, he's gonna

  893. restore the order, and he's gonna be needing people who

  894. are set apart to be able to do that to

  895. reign with him.

  896. Yes or not? Do you want that destiny for yourself? Amen?

  897. And so how do we get there? Right?

  898. I talk about where we start our identity. I talk

  899. about our end, our destiny. What is the process in

  900. the middle. It's called sanctification, our sanctity, our being made holy,

  901. our being prepared, our being clean.

  902. Yes or not?

  903. This is a daily thing, my dear friends. And it's

  904. not gonna happen overnight. Just because you go to a

  905. spa you get your your hair nicely done. Is it

  906. gonna look like that in three days time? I wish, right,

  907. I wish we can always wake up with like perfect

  908. hair day. No, you have to work at it every day.

  909. There is a sense of walking walking with the Lord.

  910. There's a sense of saying, God clean me today. And

  911. that's why the Lord prayers says what there's a lot

  912. prayer says, forgive us our sins, forgive us our trespasses,

  913. as we forgive those who trespass us. Give us this

  914. day our daily break. Yes, do you know there's a

  915. daily thing that we need before the Lord every day,

  916. every day, sanctity through sanctification.

  917. Amen. Amen.

  918. So the question then is this, when we set ourselves apart, right,

  919. what are some.

  920. Of the things that you have to say no? Two.

  921. There's a lot of things just how we say.

  922. We have to say yes right, yes to God, yes

  923. to giving him, yes to serving, yes to I don't know,

  924. speaking words of life. Yes, But there's also a Noah.

  925. What are the things that you have to say no

  926. to this year? Because you remember, you were setting yourself apart.

  927. When you're setting yourself apart, you're saying yes to God and.

  928. No to feeling the dots.

  929. It's very tempting to say I want everything, but that's

  930. not setting apart. If you want everything, everything that the

  931. world promises.

  932. To give you, you're not setting apart.

  933. You know, there's some there's there's you know, a personal

  934. thing that I did for myself. You know, many years ago,

  935. I said, because okay, we're all supposed to be velvest

  936. with a you know, with news and be knowledgeable about

  937. things like that. Yes, get to know what's happening. Yes,

  938. be a global citizen. But I told myself this and

  939. this is something. You know, God, it just really prompted me,

  940. He says. Do you know if there's only one book

  941. you can read in that day, is there's only one

  942. portion of anything that you can read for the day,

  943. Let it be the.

  944. Word of God.

  945. You can read all the news you want, You can

  946. read everything that's going on on social media. Is that

  947. going to set you free? Is that going to bring

  948. you salvation, bring you healing?

  949. If it's not, then why do we spend so much

  950. time on it?

  951. How about really saying, God, if I can go through

  952. the word of God because I believe that the word

  953. of God is the one that will set me free,

  954. the word of the One, the word of the Lord,

  955. is the one that will set me apart, then would

  956. you make that choice to say God, I'm serious with you, Amen,

  957. I'm going to invite the worship banner.

  958. Hallelujah? Are you catching something?

  959. I really want us to be set apart this year

  960. for the Lord individually, but also as a church man.

  961. We need to set ourselves apart. And I really, you know.

  962. I want to see this place for feel overflowing so

  963. that it's bringing to the food people are hungry for

  964. the presence of God. People are waiting to come to church,

  965. cannot wait. How about that? Would you have that experience?

  966. You know that? When I was in South Korea, they

  967. run five.

  968. Services on Sunday and two or three services every other day.

  969. They miss Monday, Tuesday, when say Thursday, Friday, Saturday God

  970. service and people come as early as six am.

  971. They have a six am worship. People are hungry for

  972. the Lord? Amen? Are you hungry for the Lord? Are

  973. you hungry to say? God?

  974. I really want to see lives change, lives touch and transform.

  975. I want to go.

  976. Beyond what I just see every day. Enough enough of

  977. the ordinary, right, I think? Yes, there's the ordinary, there's

  978. the natural. But God wants to do the supernatural for

  979. us because.

  980. He called us. He called us us to be supernatural

  981. just as He is. Amen. We are called to be

  982. like Christ, touching people, setting people free, preaching the good news,

  983. bringing encouragement to others. Amen. Hallelujah. Can we stand? Can

  984. we stand before the Lord? Hallelujah? Let's minister to the

  985. Lord in a song? Hallelujah.
