Giving That Pleases God | Ps Joy

We hope this message will light up your day.

So today I'm going to continue on Second Corinthians, chapter

eight and chapter nine. Today are we ready to read

God's Word? And I entitled my message today giving that

pleases God. So we want to give with the right attitude,

with the right heart, and that when we give, we

please Him. When we give him. Amen. So, if you

brought your physical bibles, we encourage you to turn to

it right now. Of course we have the scripture on

the screen to assist us, but if you have your

bibles in this church, we really encourage you to flip

and turn to your physical bibles as we read. Now,

I'm going to read quite a bit from chapter eight

and chapter nine, and I hope that all of us

we can follow and let's see what we can draw

out from these two chapters. Can we do that? Church? Yes?

So I'm going to read from the New Living Translation.

Now the first fifteen verses of chapter eight. Chapter eight

is longer, but I won't read all of it, and

then we will jump to chapter nine, which only have

fifteen verses. And if you're at homes, we read the

fifteen verses in chapter nine. Now let's start verse one

and XTV will help me with chapter eight, verse one.

So if you have a Bible, let's read verse one. Now.

I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what

God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia.

Hang on, so give you a background. Paul was writing

to the church in Corinthians and chourging them to give,

and he was sharing about the church in Macedonia. All right, okay,

so this is the context. All right, So the church

in Macedonia, that's what he's referring to. So they are

being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor,

but they are also filled with abundant joy, which has

overflowed in rich generosity. For I can testify that they gave,

as in the church in Macedonia, gave not only what

they could afford, but far more, and they did it

of their own free will. They begged us again again

for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the

believers in Jerusalem. They even did more than we had

hoped for. Their first action was to give themselves to

the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them

to do six. So we have urged Titus, who encouraged

your giving in the first place, to return to you

and encourage you to finish this ministry of giving. Since

you excel in so many ways in your faith, your

gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love for us,

I want you to excel also in this gracious act

of giving Verse eight. I'm not commanding you to do this,

but I'm testing how genuine your love is by comparing

it with the eagerness of the other church. You know

the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he

was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so

that by his poverty he could make you rich. Here

is my advice. It would be good for you to

finish what you started a year ago. Last year, you

were the first who wanted to give, and you were

the first to begin doing it. Now you should finish

what you started. Let the eagerness you should in the

beginning be matched now by your giving give in proportion

to what you have Verse twelve. Whatever you give is

acceptable if you give it eagerly and give according to

what you have, not what you don't have. Of course,

I don't mean your giving should make life easy for

others and hard for yourselves. I only mean that there

should be some equality. Right now, you have plenty and

can help those are in need. Later they will have

plenty and can share with you when you need it.

In this way things will be equal verse fifteen. As

the scripture says, those who gathered a lot had nothing

left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough.

Now a pausia. So we know the contacts. The Corrington

church a year ago wanted to give. They started the

day but didn't complete. Okay, So Paul now is writing

to them to encourage them to complete the giving, and

encouraging them by sharing about the Macedonian church that gave.

All right, Okay, now we'll jump a little bit, a

few more verses in chapter eight, and we will jump

to chapter nine, Verse one, verse one. I really don't

need to write to you about this ministry of giving

for the believers in Jerusalem, for I know how eager

you are to help, and I've been boasting to the

churches in Macedonia that you in Greece were ready to

send an offering a year ago. In fact, it was

your enthusiasm that stirred up many of the Macedonian believers

to begin giving. But I'm sending these brothers to be

sure that you you really are ready as I've been

telling them, and that your money is all collected. I

don't want to be wrong in my boasting about you.

We would be embarrassed not to mention your own embarrassment

if some Mezo Donum believers came with me and found

that you weren't ready after all I had told them

verse five. So I thought I should send these brothers

ahead of me to make sure the gift you promise

is ready. But I want it to be a willing gift,

not one given grudgingly. Now verse six, remember this, A

farmer who plans only a few seats will get a

small crop, but the one who plans generously will get

a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart

how much to give, and don't give reluctantly or in

response to pressure, for God loves a person who gives cheerfully,

and God will generously provide all you need. Then you

will always have everything you need and plenty leftover to

share with others. As the scriptures say, they shall freely

give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be

remembered forever. For God is the one who provides seed

for the farmer and then break to eat. In the

same way, he will provide and increase your resources and

then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes,

you will be enriched in every way, so you can

always be generous. And when we take your gifts to

those who need them, they will thank God. So two

good things will result from this ministry of giving. The

needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and

they will joyfully express their thanks to God as a

result of your ministry versus the thing. They will give

glory to God for your generosity to them and to

all believers, will prove that you are obedient to the

good News of Christ. And they will pray for you

with deep affection because of the old flowing grace God

has given to you. Thank God for this gift to

wonderful for words. Amen. May God bless the reading of

His word. And again, if you were at homes, we

read this portions of Scripture at homes as well. So Church,

as we gear towards our antiversy Sunday, what we want

to do is we want to prepare. We want to

prepare our giving our gift unto the Lord. So now

we have read these verses from these two chapters. And

so now let us draw from the Word of God.

What is the right attitude and the heart of giving

to the Lord that will pleaseing. Amen. So I've drawn

out four points. Okay, So let me go through this

with you. So first of all, we give by grace

true faith. Now in the whole of chapter eight, if

we study it, the grace in Greek is the word

carries right. So this word, the original Greek word, has

been repeated seven times the whole chapter eight. Okay. So

before I go there, let us look at one verse

in John. It says in John chapter one, verse seventeen,

what does it say? For the law was given through Moses,

But grace and truth came true Jesus Christ. Amen. So

Moses was the channel to whom the law came, and

we all know that. But grace and with it truth

came toue Jesus. So when Jesus came, Israel already had

the law for like centuries, right, But when Jesus came,

he didn't come to bring another legal system, not to

say you must give, you must give, you must give right,

and coming with all the laws, because if you read

the Law of Moses, there are laws pertaining to giving right.

So he came to bring something totally different. And that's

what the Bible calls grace. Now we all know grace

is free. Doesn't mean it's cheap, but it's free. Okay,

you cannot earn it. It's given to you right. And

grace operates only true faith, according to the Bible. So

to receive grace, you have to receive it through faith.

There's no other way. Now, let's read efficients chapter two,

verse eight. Now I'm reading in the New King James.

It says, for by grace you have been saved through faith,

and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God.

So the word salvation, when we talk about salvation, right,

it's the word salvation in the Bible, actually includes all

the benefits that come to knowing Jesus. It's not just

we are safe in our soul and then when we

die we go to heaven. Not just that, right, It

also includes the healing of our physical bodies. It the

healing of our minds, and also God's material provision to us.

That is the real meaning of salvation is and it's

a total of all embracing word. So again we and

it comes with the same principle that receives salvation by grace,

true faith. So when we talk about giving here, we

are not talking about a set of commandments that we

have to we have to do, we have to, but

we are trusting the Holy Spirit to impart grace into

our hearts that we may be able to obey the giving,

not because it is a set of commandments, but because

the Holy Spirit prompts us in our hearts, Amen, a man.

So grace operates only through the Holy Spirit. So it's

the Holy Spirit is the only one who can impart

God's grace into our hearts. And it's one thing to

have the commandments in front of us and say, okay,

we need to give and all. But we know sometimes

in our human nature, our sinful nature, we end up

not doing what we want to do. Right, Like Paul say,

the struggle is always there with us flesh. We do

what we don't want to do. We don't do what

we want to do. So God offers us another way,

which is the way of grace. And again it grace

operates in our hearts, true the Holy Spirit when we

receive it by faith. So again, as I mentioned, the

word carries, the Greek word for grace actually appears seven

times in the whole of chapter eight. However, if you

read the English translation, and I check in both the

New King James and the New Living not all the

time the word grace is being used, but the root

the original word is the same. So in the English

transition it has been translated into So if you read

Your New King James, it will use the word gift.

So you read just now. When Paul was talking to

the Corinthian Church, he repeated the word gift, your gift,

your gift, right, the gracious gift of God. That the

word gift is actually means grace. And in a New

Living translation we read about the word generous gift or

gracious act of giving. What it means is actually we

have to give by grace. There's no other way, right, Okay,

So grace is the key word. So although giving seems

to be the theme of chapter eight and nine, but

actually the real word is grace, immen, Grace is the

theme of chapter eight. So when God's grace comes into

our hearts, God's grace will direct us to handle our

giving the way God wants it to be handled. I

repeat again, When God's grace comes into our hearts, it

will direct us to handle our giving the way God

wants it handled. Now, if we bear in mind that

it is the Holy Spirit who imparts grace into our hearts,

let's remember what King David said about the Holy Spirit,

because it's the Holy Spirit wo imparts grace. So the

Holy Spirit is what kind of hot spirit? Okay? So

in Psalms fifty one, verse twelve, and I'm reading for

the new King James, now Psum fifty one, we all

know it's like a repenting summer, all right. So King

David sin and then he wrote the sum So in

verse twelve of Thesum, King David wrote, restore to me

the joy of your salvation and uphold me with your

generous spirit. The Holy Spirit is a generous spirit. He

is not a stingy spirit, right, Okay, So when the

Holy Spirit moves in our hearts through the grace of God,

is it normal that we will not be stingy. It's

just natural. We will never be stingy because we have

the spirit of generosity in us, because the Holy Spirit

is a general spirit. So if we are having some

struggle in the matter of generosity, maybe we need to

stop following a set of rules and allow the grace

of God to operate in our hearts and in our lives. Amen. Amen.

And because we have heard it before, when God touches

our hearts, he will often touch the pokers, the wallort,

the bank account, all right, And it's very closely related.

So when I was first touched by God, the first

thing that I wanted to do was I just the time,

was just a teenager, I give my pokemonino into the

offering back, because it's a natural response. When God touches

our hearts, when grace comes to our lives, it will

touches us to give immen. Because the Holy Spirit is

a generous God. Imen. So there's a very close connection

and when and what we have established is that Holy

Spirit is a general spirit, and God is a generous God,

and God's grace that is poured into our hearts provides

the abundance. Now, how do we know in second Comminance

we read just now in chapter nine in verse eight. Now,

this is one of my favorite and the word all

is repeated many timeszon So it's a chairperson when the

best chap persons pray and read before the tieson offering

time right always all okay? So verse eight it says,

and God is able to make all gays and this

is the new King James right, all grays abound towards you,

that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may

have an abundance for every good world. But take note

this verse starts with what simple statement about God? God

is able? Question? Do we believe that God is able

to make all grace abound towards you? So? I think

God is God, He will and He's able. That's the

truth of God. It's now as the questions whether we

believe it or not right that God is able to

make all grades abound towards us. Hallelujah. So that's the question.

So Jesus, when we confess that, okay, we help release

that word. Amen. So God is able? So what is

it that he makes a bound towards us? He says,

all grace? So God is able to make what all grace?

So then when we are always having all sufficiency in

all things we were abound, we will overflow. So we

understand the concept of overflowing. Right, So if you put

a glass of water, empty glass and you keep running

the tap and then once it fills up, it will overflow.

So that's the meaning of overflowing. It will overflow the

original capacity of the cup. So again, what is it for?

So God says in this verse Jesus Paul said that

we may have and abundance for what every good word.

So notice here it is not for our selfish indulgence.

But God said no, when Paul is trying to tell

the church that when we have all sufficiency, it is

for every good word Amen. So if we are just

doing the meaning, if God just give us until we

are enough, we are just on the receiving side onney correct.

That means we are not overflowing, we are just receiving.

We are full. But God gives us more than enough overflowing.

He give us an abundance so that we have the

greater blessing of giving amen. So remember the receiving when

you are pouring into the cup, it's actually the lower

end of the blessing receiving, but it is the higher

end is when you overflow and you give amen. So

and God's grace. If we accept it by faith, God's

grace will make it possible for us to go beyond

our personal needs and to give to the needs of others. Amen. Highly. Yeah.

So that's the first point, hallelujah. Amen. We give by grace.

We we are not giving out of compulsion or under pressure.

And that's why it shouldn't be something that we complain about. Right.

So if we find ourselves complaining, oh, give again, are

you give again? Then something's not right because if it's

by the grace of God true faith, we will not complain.

We understand that it's the grace of God poured into

our hearts and we and overflows our lives and we give. Amen. Amen.

So that's the first one. Gay, we give by grace

and true faith. Secondly, and this one is found in

verse five of chapter eight. We give. I put that

myself because this speaks to me, give myself first to God. Amen.

So that is the type of giving that pleases him,

is when we first give ourselves to Him first before

all our material giving. Amen. Why God doesn't need the money,

you know that, right, yep. But God wants us to

give first our selves to him. So that's what the

Macedonian church did they first gave themselves to the Lord

as mentioned in verse five. Now, I read this story

about an American Indian. Okay, just a story that I read,

and I felt it a really good one. And he

went to a gospel service in a tent. So let

me share this story that I read. Now, So this

American Indian was listening to the preaching. It was a service, Okay,

he had things he was not familiar with, but his

heart was strangely touched. Okay, So when the appeal was

made towards the end of the message, he thought, I'd

better give something to God. So he came up with

his blanket and he laid it on the altar and

he said, Indian, bring blanket. Okay. He walked back to

his place because I think that time they don't have

money cash, so what he had was his possessions. Okay,

so the blanket. Then he walked back to his place,

but he didn't really feel any peace. He felt, I

better give something more valuable than my blanket. And he

knew that the blanket was just wasn't the most precious

possession that he had. Now, he came up to the

front of the altar, and this time he came up

with his rifle. Okay, bill, just great, mine'll pill okay,

laid it on the altar. But maybe to him that

time that was his livelihood life. He used the Bible. Okay, okay,

he laid it on the altar and he said Indian

ring rifle. Then he went back to his place. But

still there was no peace. And then he thought, the

most valuable thing that I have is my horse. So

he went outside the tent. He untied his horse, and

he led his horse right up to the front of

the church, and he told the bastard Indian ring horse.

But still there was no peace. Finally, without anything, he

walked right up to the front to the altar and said,

Indian bring Indian hallelujah. I found it very good too,

And then he found peace. He knew that even when

he gave his best his horse, he knew that he

needs to give himself first to the Lord so church

just to encourage us. Let us not, I I would

use the word jes that nothing wrong to bring a blanket,

all right, right? Not let us not just bring our blanket,

our rifle, our horse. Now what could that mean to you?

You will know right, until we have brought ourselves. Amen.

So let us not bring our money, our resources until

we first give ourselves to God a man. Now. In

Romans chapter twelve, verse one to two, Paul also tells

us very clearly, this is what God expects of us.

So let's read verse one one in Romans twelve and

KJV New King James. All right, it says here I

besiege you. Therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that

you present your bodies a living sacrifice wholly acceptable to God,

which is your reasonable service. Now. So in the Bible,

when we see a word, therefore, we need to know

what is there for, meaning what was there before? The

conclusion is the now? Okay. So Paul took eleven chapters

before in Romans to talk about all the mercies of

God blah blah blahlah blah. Okay. And after dealing with

all the mercies of God in the earlier eleven chapters

of Romans, he ended at the end of the eleven

chapter at the start of the twelfth chapter, and he said, therefore,

so this Indian that we were reading the story just now,

he brought himself to the Lord. And this is what

Paul was encouraging the church. Whatever that you have heard, Therefore,

present your bodies, your entire being, your whole being laid

on the altar of God's service. Amen, Because that is

the only reasonable response to the mercies of God. Of course,

we don't have time to read the eleven chapters, but

it's talking about the mercies of God in our lives

and what God has done for us. And that is

the only reasonable response that we can have to God.

It is to present ourselves to him. But he didn't

stop there. He continued in verse two, it says, and

do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed

by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove

what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

So you see, the old, unrenewed mind cannot discover the

will of God. So your minds have to be renewed

before you can prove the good, acceptable, and the perfect

will of God. But realize that this is verse two,

and until verse one happens, when we present our bodies

unto the Lord, we also cannot get our minds renewed.

And until our minds are not renewed, we also cannot

know the will of God. Right. So it's only when

we have made a total surrender of ourselves first to God, okay,

presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice to him, that he

will begin again to renew our minds and to begin

to open up his will to us. And then we

will slowly discover the God's will which is good at

the bland, perfect, and that is for another day, right, yes,

But until then we will not be able to. So

the first step was be to present ourselves to the Lord. Amen,

before we bring any of our offerings. So let's remember that. Okay,

So a giving that pleases God is a giving that

we first give ourselves first. Yeah. Now, the third point

that I have is, which was talk about by Paul

in these two chapters, is give. I know my English

not really good, but what I'm trying to say is

give to soul and don't give up in your giving.

Look at it as you are solving. Amen. Now, in

homes we learn about this. What is that word that

starts with the iron? We look at our giving as

a investment. That's right. Now, hang on, let's read again

verse six in chapter nine. Now, but this I say,

that's not I read from New Living. Now I'm gonna

read from New King James, he who so sparingly will

also reap sparingly, meaning you sow little bit, you little

bit now, But he who sows bountifully will reap bountifully.

The person will get a generous crop. So Paul right

now is comparing the natural thing about farming or sowing seeds, right, okay,

taking example from the natural realm, and he's saying that

with the measure that you use to sow, you will reap.

So let's say if you sew one bushel or whet,

you will get fifty bushels. Let's just say, okay, so

if you saw one bushel, you will get fifty. If

you're so ten, you will get very good. Them choice,

I think too early. They cannok calculate, they can calculate. Okay,

so you so ha. So it's how much you sow,

that is how much you will weep. And that's what

the Bible is talking about. Yeah. So the same measure

in which a person souls determine the measure in which

he weaves. So the measure in which you give determines

the measure in which God will give back to you.

And Jesus say in the same context. Right, So now

a good farmer or a sensible farmer will not just

now I'm no farmer. A farmer say you're not okay, okay,

no one nothing about me. But logically speaking, you won't

just scatter your precious seeds. And they need money to

buy seats or you know, se it's not free one,

so I have to buy my seat, So I won't

just scatter my seeds anywhere beside the drain long kung

or whatever. Right, what will I do? I will find

the right SOI I will prepare the SOI and then

I will also choose the right type of seed, make

sure got inner water, sunlight, whatever. And then what do

I do after that? After I saw the city I

cover with the sody water? Is then very good? Wait?

Do you think you immediately produce harvests? No, they won't

be so impatient when we give them. Neverse, he got

blessed as better. It applies to me to okay, So

it's just like how a farmer plants to see it.

The farmer needs to wait. So we need to view

our giving as sewing or as an investment. All right,

so the farmer waits. Then comes the first to encourage

the farmer. Don't give up, okay. So Galatians chapter six,

verse nine, it says, let's not get tired of doing

what is good, because at just the right time, we

will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. So, Church,

if you had been sewing, don't get discouraged. When a

farmer sows his seed, he doesn't expect harvest immediately, all right.

There's a gap of waiting between sowing and weeping. So

just just let us bear that in mind. And some

of us today are repping maybe what we have sown

a year ago, five years ago, ten years ago, and

some of the more senior ones ten twenty thirty years ago,

we are ripping what we have sown many years ago.

And so that's the same thing with sowing a seed. Now.

I don't know how you feel, and I don't know

how farmers feel, though. Do they feel risky when they

take money to buy seeds and then sow into the

ground and then have to wait? Is there a guarantee

that there will be harvest? Maybe not in normal farming,

but is there a guarantee in God? Yes? Salelujah? Okay,

So but imagine this it feels risky why we are

taking the seed. Okay, So let's say I need five

ring gate to buy one seed to plant. Okay, that

five ring gate. If I don't buy seed and plan,

can I do it? If I can buy bread and

immediately eat and fill my stomach? Correct? Okay, So it

feels whiskey because this seed or the money that I

used to buy my seed could be food that I

use for myself. But now I'm going to buy it

as a seed and I'm going to throw into the earth.

I'm going to cover it with soy, and I'm going

to leave it. But that's how exactly, giving unto the

Lord feels like you are giving, you are letting go, hallelujah.

So the seed money in our hands when we give

to the Lord is like sowing a seed in the ground.

We've got to open our hands and let it go, hallelujah.

And that's and we had to do it by faith, right,

And that's faith because we don't see what happens to

it immediately, and we could have used that seed for

ourselves and not be willing to let it go. But

it will just be ourselves full stock and there will

be no story no harvest of blessing, hallelujah. But when

we release it to the Lord and we invested, hallelo

we know that we will have a halfurst off blessing

a man. Why because God promises us that he's able. Amen. Amen, now,

and one more thought on this on this point. Remember

Jesus are when he mentioned in the Sermon of the

Mound in Mettel six twenty one, very famous verst. And

we can all memorize. For where your treasure is there,

your heart will be. Also. Imagine if you are a farmer,

you spend a lot of money buying your seats, and

you plant it in the ground. What do you think

the farmer will do? Wait? Now, every day the farmer

will watch now and wait. The farmer won't forget about

the seed. Right, will you forget about your seat your investment? Hah?

You will wait for the return on your investment. Is normal.

When we put in whatever that has been invested, your

heart will be there. And that's what God is saying.

So it's so down to earth. Right where your money

is there, your heart will. So we go to us

ourselves if we want our heart to be in God,

we want our heart to be in God's house. We

want to be more committed to God. We want to

be more zealous for God. We want to you want

to have more of God. Okay, what do we need

to do? Invest more? Because where your treasure is, your

heart will be also and this is a spiritual law

from the world of God that will never change. Amen. Amen.

So see you're giving, You're giving as sowing, and don't

give up as you give. Now the final point that

we can draw. So let's summarize again the point. First

one give by grace to faith, give yourself first unto

the Lord, and give to soul, and don't give up.

And finally give as part of I put them my

worship because this is speaking to me too, and I

pray that it will be when you're giving, will be

part of your worship. Now, So this is what we do,

and that's why our chairpersons will always say. Now we

come to our favorite time and ex church where we

want to worship the Lord with our giving, because we

in Exchurch review our giving to the Lord, whether it's types,

whether it's offering as our worship unto the Lord. But

I want us to show us in the Bible that

this is biblical and I'm shown in the world of

God that giving is part of worship. So let's look

at Psalms ninety six, verse eight in a New Living translation.

It says, give to the Lord the glory he deserves,

bring your offering, and come into his courts. So the

give to the Lord the glory he deserves sounds like worship,

because as we worship him, we glorify him, we give

him praise and glory that is due to his name. Amen.

So that's worship. But the first didn't end there. It says,

bring an offering and come into his cards. So it's

like saying you shouldn't come into God's courts without end offering.

God says, first, get your offering ready and then come.

You know, I don't know matter this, it's just a

Chinese thing. But he said, don't go to people's house

empty hundred. Yeah, you know how to go to without

being empty handed. We should come into God's house not

empty handed as well. In man. Now, let's go into

another portion of scripture in Exodus. Okay, So in Exodus

chapter twenty three we learn here again that God. Okay,

so God was telling the people of Israel every year, Okay,

all the males will need to come and present themselves

to the Lord three times a year, okay. And it

also mentioned here that they should bring an offering when

they appear before God. So let's read Chapter twenty three,

verse fourteen to seventeen. It says, each year you must

celebrate three festivals in my honor. First, celebrate the festival

of eleven Bread for seven days. The bread you eat

must be made without ease, just as I commanded.

You.

Celebrate this festival annually at the appointed time in the

early spring in the man of abeb Or, that is

the anniversary of your departure from Egypt. No one may

appear before Me without end offering. Second, celebrate the festival

of harvest when you bring me the first crops of

your harvest. And finally, celebrate the festival of final harvest

at the end of the harvest season, when you have

harvested all the crops from your fields. At these three

times each year, every man in Israel must appear before

the Sovereign, the Lord. So in verse fifteen, we can

see here that God commanded the people no one should

appear before Me without end offering. And I believe that's

what we are doing as we celebrate our anniversary, as

we come together as a family, as a church, we

want to give as we come together to worship God

right in our anniversary. We want to give him our gift. Amen. Amen,

And it is biblical halle Look, So let us not

appear before God without our offering and giving to God

is really something very sacred, and I'm towards the end

I think the worship team can prepare to come. Our

giving to God is something really special, is sacred, and

it should be done prayerfully and worshipfully and in faith.

Because God doesn't need our leftovers, do you know that?

So the last thing we want is to give God

something unprepared, right, And that's why in church now weeks

before we are we are also reminding and you know,

preparing the church to give. We come up with the

envelope so that it's a physical reminder for us to

pray to seek the Lord. And you can pray together

with your spouse, your family, or as a homes or

how God is leading you to give. Why because we

want to prepare a special offering unto the Lord. Amen.

We do not want to give him anything that is

by the way, one soon give him more offering back

past by Alcana, I dig my pocket whatever change, and

then I drop it in. Right, it's not loose change

that we want to give to God. It is not

leftover us that we want to give to God. We

want to give God only our death, hallelujah. So and

we do not want to deny ourselves the blessings that

God wants to bless us. Right, but we want to

again come into his courts to worship him and to

offer something just like what King David said in Second Samuel,

that he will never want to offer to God something

that cost him nothing. So let us come and let

us again prepare ourselves to give unto the Lord something

that will miss him. Amen, Amen, hallelujah.
