  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. The message that I believe the Lord has placed in

  4. my heart for all of us this morning is called

  5. Overcoming your Fears.

  6. Overcoming your fears.

  7. You know, this year our church team is disciples first,

  8. and there is a re emphasis on discipleship. But how

  9. many of us know that discipleship is a double edged sword.

  10. You know, it's not just more internal meetings. You know,

  11. that is one way for us to express discipleship. You know,

  12. we gather together, we journey each other deeper into the

  13. world of God. You know, we allow leaders and godly

  14. counsel to speak into our lives, and we need that.

  15. We need to sit under some people who have gone

  16. further than us in faith, so that our faith becomes

  17. more like Christ. Amen. As the apostle Paul says, imitate

  18. me as I imitate Christ when he wrote to you know,

  19. his protege Timothy. And you know, the thing is this

  20. that that is one form discipleship. But the Jesus idea

  21. discipleship is not just internal, it's also external. That's why

  22. the Great Commission, says go idiot says gather, it says,

  23. go to the nations and make disciples of them, baptizing

  24. them the name of the Father's our Holy Spirit, teaching

  25. them to observe. So discipleship, on one hand, is more

  26. internal meetings, you know, more heart to heart, understanding scripture,

  27. understanding the spirit of God's Word, praying for one another,

  28. no confessing what we're going through to one another, so

  29. that we can all grow to become all like Christ.

  30. But it's also taking all that God has deposited to

  31. us through his word and bringing it out into the world.

  32. And then, let me put it this way, right, Christians,

  33. we should be no for what Christ stands for. So

  34. for example, Jesus his love. So as Christians, love shouldn't

  35. just be felt when we come to church. And and

  36. and like Priscillas says, this is a warm church. And

  37. if you are considering, you know, a church, look no further.

  38. This is it welcome home.

  39. You know, but but this this, but, but love shouldn't

  40. just be felt within the four worlds. As Christians, when

  41. you go to work, people should feel the love.

  42. People should feel the love.

  43. You know, there are some people and I hope that

  44. you know we're not like that. There's some people we

  45. won't name names, but when they're not around, everybody feels

  46. a bit more relaxed, you know what I'm saying. Right,

  47. you know, I won't name who in the company. You

  48. know who you're talking about, right, Hopefully it's not you.

  49. You know, when when so and so doesn't show up

  50. at work, when so and so in your office, in

  51. your school, in your campus is working from home, unwell,

  52. almost everybody has a side of relief. We can breathe.

  53. And I hope that that's not what people say about Christians.

  54. I hope it's the opposite. I hope that when when

  55. the Christians for some reason, you know, I don't know,

  56. dangy or whatever, and then they had to be admitted

  57. at the hospital and they can't show up the work

  58. or whatever, like like the workplace, that their campus, their school,

  59. their family misses them and go like wow, you know,

  60. it feels different. It's not the same. It's not the same.

  61. Where's the joy, where's the spark, where's the lights?

  62. And so that's what discipleship is, right.

  63. We're meant to to be in church and download more

  64. of God's love and be changed by that love. But

  65. we'reso meant to bring that love outside. So in a

  66. way we're meant to disciple the world and teach them

  67. and show them what true love is.

  68. You know what's another thing.

  69. Christians were supposed to disciple the world, and we're supposed

  70. to disciple the world in grace because Christianity is built

  71. on grace. For God's so loved the world that he

  72. gave his only son that whoever who believes in him,

  73. thet the little rodin sinners like me who believe in him,

  74. can receive grace? Can we receive second chance? And how

  75. we know that the world needs not just the second chance,

  76. but third for fifth six, the world needs grace. And

  77. I hope that when you go to work you are

  78. known for grace, not known to become culative. You know,

  79. you're known for your generosity, you know, not as the

  80. person who wants to split the bill. You know, even

  81. the fishballs. Sorry, you know just now we went out

  82. for Chinese food. We or the bowl of soup. Those

  83. five fishball? I ate three fishball, you ate two? Can

  84. you pay fifty seven more? Please?

  85. Christians pay for the whole soup.

  86. You know what I'm saying, Like, like, you gotta be

  87. known for your generosity because we serve a generous God.

  88. Be known for grace, because we serve a gracious God.

  89. Be known for love because we serve a loving God.

  90. Being known for holiness because we serve a holy God.

  91. And so when we go out there, we gotta be

  92. set upon. Amen. We gotta not only share what we experience,

  93. you know, in church on Sunday, but hopefully, by the

  94. grace of God, live in out friends. Turn your neighbor says,

  95. you gotta live it out, you gotta live it out.

  96. And in our living out, we are discipling in our

  97. living out right.

  98. Because it's if this.

  99. Is how we disciple, how do we impact and change

  100. our families or workplace, our schools and just anywhere our businesses,

  101. whatever realm or influence that God has placed you in.

  102. You know, we gotta show up first before we we

  103. We we talk a lot, Amen, You our talk is

  104. cheap in the in the world that we're living right now,

  105. people need to see that we truly stand for what

  106. we believe in. And when they see consistency, when they

  107. see a difference in our lives, then.

  108. They'll be super interested in what we have to say.

  109. Amen. And you know what is one more thing we

  110. gotta disciple the world. One more thing We're gonna live out. Courage, courage, courage,

  111. because we also serve for God who defeated death. The

  112. scariest thing in the whole of creation is death, and

  113. yet we serve a Lord who has conquered death. The

  114. Bible says that death has lost its sting. Death, by

  115. the grace of God, has turned from a full stop

  116. into a comma. And because we all know that whoever

  117. who believes in Him shall not perish, but receive eternal life.

  118. And so we are actually people who have eternal life

  119. in us.

  120. Amen. And so when we go out into the world,

  121. that eternal.

  122. Life that needs to be reflected in the way we talk,

  123. in the way we live, and in the way we

  124. look at the world, because how we know that we

  125. are also living in a very fearful world. Right. Whether

  126. it's a health thing that people are afraid of, I

  127. don't know ever since coming back. You know, it could

  128. be because I'm turning forty, So all the people I

  129. hang up with suddenly, you know when in the turn forties,

  130. Certainly it's like a fear.

  131. Everybody is not afraid of death.

  132. Certainly everyone I talk to is asking me have you

  133. had your black tests yet?

  134. Have you checked your blood?

  135. If you check your black pressure you I'm like, nobody

  136. talks like that in your thirties or twenties. No people

  137. in their twenties are going out, you know, I don't

  138. know drinking mama, drinking mama, you know, having mama, and

  139. and you know, stuff in their face with a current

  140. fried chicken. But the moment you turn forty, it's like,

  141. you know, almost your last connasterial chat. You know, blah

  142. blah blah. You know, that's like a different, different thing. Hey, MANU,

  143. there's a lot of fear right talking to different people.

  144. People are always talking about, oh, so under the economy

  145. is so uncertain.

  146. We never know. You know, April second is coming. April

  147. second is coming to those of you who are doubt

  148. enough to read the news. You know why you know

  149. April second? You know? Or what will tariffs hit? How

  150. would the affect the economy, would affect Malaysia? What this

  151. Militianu's diplomatic relationship with the Orange Man in America? You know,

  152. like like what what you know? How how is how

  153. is you know? Every is working themselves with a frenzy.

  154. Everyone's working themselves into fear right, and we even invented

  155. the word doom scrolling, not happy scrolling, doom scrolling. Okay,

  156. for those of us who are older, let me explain. Okay,

  157. doom scrolling is when you just scroll on your device

  158. on your social media and you just consume so much

  159. bad news, so much conspiracy theory, that you feel everything

  160. is doom and gloom, you know, and you lose sleep

  161. and then the cycle continues. Anyway, so it's very important

  162. for us to be people that live out faith. And

  163. part of our faith, it's not just faith, hope and love,

  164. it's also courage. In fact, faith and courage go hand

  165. in hand. And so let's turn to some scripture. It

  166. is okay, because you know, I want us to look

  167. at scripture and learn a thing or two about how

  168. to overcome fear, because fear is not just something that

  169. we overcome once and that's it. You know, it's not

  170. like you're high school exams. It's not SPM or whatever

  171. it is right now. You know, it's not just a

  172. one time citing. It's not your driving licensials to sit

  173. one time and then who no, no, no, it's an

  174. ongoing examination that life throws at you. And so every

  175. now and then, just when you thought I thought just

  176. overcome this fear, how come and afraid again? You know,

  177. this is why we need to overcome it again and again,

  178. by the grace of God. Amen. But the good news

  179. is this, we are not alone. So let's turn to

  180. some scriptures. Say, okay, let's tend to March up to five,

  181. and then we're going to read from verse thirty five

  182. to forty two. Mark five thirty five to forty two.

  183. If your dead can here good, Amen, Amen, fantastic, Oh,

  184. praise God, thank you asking me, It says here. While

  185. he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the

  186. home of Gyrus, the leader of the synagogue, and they

  187. told him, your daughter is dead. There is no U

  188. troubling the teacher. Now let's pass you for a bit, right. So,

  189. of course, for today's context, we're jumping right in the

  190. middle of this story. But this is kind of like

  191. watching a series by jumping in season two, so let

  192. me explain season one. Okay, so what happened before this?

  193. You know, in earlier part of March chapter five was

  194. that Jesus was walking through a crowd and you know,

  195. a man came. This is in verse twenty three, and

  196. his name is Gyrus. He's a synagogue leader, church leader

  197. in the local context. And he came and he fell

  198. on his feet, and he begged Jesus earnestly, saying that

  199. my little daughter is very very very very ill. Please,

  200. I've heard that you can do great things. Could you

  201. come and heal her? So that's the count of like

  202. season one context. And Jesus said, show me the way,

  203. I'll come. I'll be more than happy to intervene on

  204. your behalf. And along the way Jesus was so full

  205. of power. How many are praise God? We serve a

  206. God who's full of power, so full of power that

  207. even on the way to perform a miracle, another miracle happens,

  208. you know, on the way to performing a miracle.

  209. You know, another woman.

  210. By faith touched the helm of our Lord Jesus Christ

  211. government and she received healing. And so Jesus was there

  212. ministering to her, you know, listening to her story and

  213. then restoring her. And that's where we get earlier on

  214. it says that while he was still talking, a messenger came.

  215. So let's go back to verse thirty five again, right,

  216. so this is why the context of life. Well, so

  217. when he was still talking, still minishing to the ladies

  218. to say that, hey, go now your faith has healed you.

  219. While I was still happening, messengers came from the house

  220. of Gyros and said, your daughter is dead. There's no

  221. need to trouble Jesus any more. That's true, beating on

  222. verse thirty six. But she Us overheard them and said

  223. to Gyros, don't be afraid, just have faith. I'm not

  224. sure if this is speaking to someone here today. You're

  225. like Gyros. You love God and you're doing your best

  226. to do right by him.

  227. But life happens and you're pleading to God.

  228. But before God can answer your prayer, the situation becomes worse,

  229. and suddenly you feel unworthy. You feel unworthy to even

  230. bother God any more. You know, the beautiful thing about

  231. Christianity is this, right, It's not like the moment you

  232. become a Christian, nothing bad ever happens to you anymore.

  233. You know that is not that is not the gospel.

  234. That the gospel is this.

  235. There is real evil in this world, there is real

  236. darkness in this world. There's real pain, real tragedy that

  237. are really messed up things in this broken, fallen world.

  238. But God so loved the world that he intervened. He

  239. so loved the world that he didn't stand from a

  240. fire and go like, oh sucks to be them. No, no, no,

  241. He stepped in, took on the form of man and

  242. entered into our problem and intervene our problem and made

  243. our problem his problem. And so you have here Gyros

  244. who had a problem, and and and he loves God.

  245. This is a this is a maybe for someone this

  246. here you You you love God, but you have a

  247. problem and you love God and you're praying to God

  248. for intervention, and that problem is becoming worse, and you're

  249. sitting here and chesh, wondering.

  250. What's wrong with me? Is it me?

  251. Long? I feel so unworthy because just like the messagers say,

  252. don't trouble this Jesus anymore, have you been there before?

  253. You're praying to God for breakthrough, and then you're the

  254. news You keep that thing is bad, and you're tempted

  255. to stop praying.

  256. You're tempted to give up.

  257. You're tempted to start having a pity party and think

  258. that maybe it's me, Maybe I'm unworthy of Jesus's help.

  259. Maybe maybe it's me. Maybe I'm a man to to

  260. to to to, you know, just go through this. Maybe

  261. this is God's will for me? Can you let God

  262. be the one that wills your life in stead of you?

  263. You know a lot of times this must be God's will?

  264. Did you check? Did you check?

  265. Hey? Man, who are you to speak on? Behalf of God?

  266. Or this God's wheeler? I'm like, I'm fair, or this

  267. God's wheeler, I'm single? This God's Oh? Really with God?

  268. That God say that? If God didn't say, why are

  269. you declaring it? And so the good news is this

  270. that Jesus over hurt them. We serve a God who overhears.

  271. We serve a God who hears. So if you see

  272. that here you're wondering, is God hearing me? Yes, God hears?

  273. And that all that Jesus is saying to you this

  274. morning is this. Don't be afraid, just have faith. Tell

  275. you it says, don't be afraid, just have faith. Whatever

  276. you're going through right now, don't be afraid. Just have faith.

  277. Whether it's a health situation, financial situation, a family problem,

  278. don't be afraid. Christians were not supposed to be known

  279. to be afraid, were known to fear God.

  280. But not be afraid. We need to have faith.

  281. Amen. And this is not my motivational speak. This is

  282. the words of Jesus. This is the words of Jesus.

  283. If you near what from God this morning? This is what.

  284. Don't be afraid have faith and they exam tomorrow. Don't

  285. be afraid have faith. I don't know what my bills.

  286. Don't be afraid. Have faith.

  287. Amen. Okay, let's let's keep reading on. Okay, Sorry, I

  288. gotta keep the time. Verse the they seven. Then Jesus

  289. stopped the crowd and wouldn't let anyone go with him

  290. except Peter James and John, the brother of James. Amen.

  291. James a good name anyway.

  292. So Verse the the eight right, And when they came

  293. to the home of the Synagot leader, Jesus saw much commotion,

  294. weeping and wailing.

  295. And so what did Jesus do?

  296. He went inside and us why all this commotion and weeping.

  297. The child isn't dead, She's only asleep.

  298. You see.

  299. We gotta learn to see things how Jesus sees them.

  300. Sometimes we see a dead end, Jesus, that's not a

  301. dead end. That's just a tunnel waiting to be dugged,

  302. or that that that's done end, that's there's a U

  303. turn in the making, or you know, I can I

  304. can work something. And Jesus is declaring, Hey, why all

  305. this commotion, Why are you guys wailing and weeping? The

  306. child isn't dead, She's only asleep. Let's read on to

  307. verse forty, right. The crowd laughed at him. I hope

  308. that's not. No, sometimes we can do that. The Lord

  309. is declaring faith, the preacher here is declaring faith, the

  310. worship readers declaring faith. And sometimes in a heart of

  311. hearts or a flash, you are laughing, you know. Grahama's

  312. here going like, come on, guys, we're gonna dance. Stirred

  313. the part, stirred the part, and you're stinking at the bed,

  314. gonna stir my head now, you know.

  315. Yeah yeah. When when you do that, you think you're

  316. being cool, You think church of being cringey.

  317. No, no, you're you're laughing at Jesus because maybe the

  318. lawyer is saying that, come on, stood the part. Can

  319. you be undignified for me just one second? They didn't

  320. I hang on across for you, completely naked black for

  321. your sins. You can't stand the part for me. It's

  322. not about stirring the pot. It's about just, you know,

  323. being people that were saying that, you know, Jesus I

  324. will do anything for you, you know, worshit. It's not

  325. about means about you. Amen, And so we're gonna be careful.

  326. Don't don't laugh at God. But when you do laugh

  327. at him, what did you do? He made all of

  328. them leave, and he took the girl's father and mother

  329. and his three disciples into the room where the girl

  330. was lying.

  331. Two more of us says can we do that?

  332. Okay? Holding her hand, he said to her, talitita kom,

  333. which means little girl, get up, And the girl, who

  334. was twelve years old, he immediately stood up and walked around,

  335. and they were overwhelmed and totally amazed.

  336. Amen, God bless the reading of his word. Amen. From

  337. this scripture that three things I want. There's a catch.

  338. They'll form on.

  339. Three take on points that I pray will help you

  340. overcome your fears. Point number one, you gotta close the door.

  341. Close the door. You notice that in verse for you

  342. one that Jesus brought in the father of the mother,

  343. only not the crowd not the people who are wheeping

  344. and whaling, not the extra people, just the Father, Mother,

  345. and then Jesus and then even Jesus. How many disciples

  346. pop quiz how many disciples of Jesus have?

  347. Twelve?

  348. Okay, but he brought three. Okay, it's okay, togas Okay.

  349. My math is also not My math is not good.

  350. So I'm not okay, I'm no judgment, No come the nation. Okay.

  351. So he brought only three of the disciples, right, and

  352. and and this.

  353. Is so important because for us to overcome fear, we

  354. gotta close the door of certain spaces in our lives.

  355. You know how, all of us we have a decision

  356. making room, not a literal room, but in our heart

  357. of hearts. Right when there's a major decision, when you're

  358. going through something, I hope you're not calling the whole village.

  359. You know, you have specific people that you're reaching out to,

  360. people that you trust. And so Jesus modeled this out.

  361. This is this is a dad has happened. A mirale

  362. girl was on the verge of happening, and so God

  363. wanted to move. But even then he had to make

  364. sure there were the right people in the room. And

  365. and and and let me break it down, right, So

  366. he brought the parents, and so I'm not here saying that, oh,

  367. you know, to overcome your fears, you need an inner

  368. circle in your life that consists of your parents. No, no, no,

  369. the parents were the ones here that had the issue, right, Okay, cool,

  370. thank you, cool interruption. It says that my baby needs

  371. milk some date anyway, khakis too, Okay, just in case. Yeah,

  372. those of you listening, please edit this out. But those

  373. of you at the back of your just around. Uh

  374. it's uh, just needs my baby his meal in the

  375. car anyway. I'll talk about him later, Okay, don't worry,

  376. don worry.

  377. Okay.

  378. So where was I Yeah, so you know, we all

  379. need like an inner circle, and it's not even though

  380. Jesus involved the parents. Let me say this with grace.

  381. Not all parents have to be included in our decision.

  382. And I say this with love and I know their parents. Yeah, okay,

  383. the parents were the ones that represent us. We are

  384. the ones. We are the parents in this situation where

  385. the runs with the problem. Now in some of us

  386. here you are blessed with God fearing parents. Please make

  387. them your inner circle. But for a lot of us

  388. we don't have God fearing parents. We have world fearing

  389. parents who happen to be Christians who out have you?

  390. Have you met Christians at there before? You know? They

  391. they they they profess Christ, but they worship at the

  392. author of world. They worship the altar of money. They

  393. worship the out of fear. You know, they read I

  394. don't know the newspaper more and they read the good News.

  395. And so if you have godly parents, please make them

  396. in a circle. But for some of us, we're gonna,

  397. we're gonna, We're gonna only let the right ones in

  398. and and and I'm not here to tell you who

  399. your Peter should be, who you're John and brother of

  400. James should be. But I'm here to tell you that

  401. in the inner circle that must be Jesus. There must

  402. be Jesus. Whatever you're going through, let Jesus be the

  403. author and the finisher. Let him have the first and last.

  404. Say are you going through something? Have you just been

  405. given a bad medical report? Bad in the eyes of

  406. the world. Don't go around because we live in the

  407. world right now where we love to overshare. We live

  408. in the world right now where it's not lack of information.

  409. But it's too much information. Write too much information right.

  410. People are oversharing on social media. We're scrolling on social media.

  411. We're learning way too many things that's unsubstantiated from social media.

  412. How many of us have you know been? I don't know.

  413. Just coming back to Malaysia.

  414. My mind for you page now is trying to tell

  415. me to download an app that will help with my

  416. add So calling to YouTube every time you might have

  417. add you might have ADHD, you might have OCD, you

  418. might have this, you might have that, and download this

  419. app and you're safe.

  420. You know, I won't ask you raise your hands.

  421. But some of us here, you know, we set for

  422. some lists to self diagnose right to go, like you know,

  423. oh do I have this? Do I have this?

  424. Even for fun?

  425. Let me just do it?

  426. And so we're leaving a woman.

  427. It's too much information, too much noise, And the Word

  428. of God is trying to tell us that when it

  429. comes to overcoming fear, we're going to reduce the noise

  430. in our lives. There are people who are weeping and

  431. wailing in our lives that just like Jesus, we're gonna

  432. chase them out.

  433. And so I'm not gonna tell you who are.

  434. The people who are the haters in your life, but

  435. you gotta chase them out. There's some people that you

  436. love hanging out with them, but they don't speak the

  437. same language of faith as you do. And you need

  438. people in your room, in your spiritual room that speak

  439. the same faith lingo that if Jesus heals, they says, Amen.

  440. And people who will stand with you for your breakthrough.

  441. This is how we overcome fear by letting the right

  442. ones in. You know, the Word of God says in

  443. Problems nine ten, the fear of the Lord is the

  444. beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One

  445. is understanding. You need to have the knowledge of the

  446. Holy One. You need to have Jesus. You need to

  447. have his word, you need to have revelation, you need

  448. to have His Holy Spirit. Amen. This is what we need.

  449. And so you gotta close the door. Whatever you're going

  450. through right now, friends, you gotta close the door. Let

  451. me give you a quick three points and then let

  452. me give you my very real life experience so that

  453. you know that I'm standing here. I'm not just preaching

  454. to your concept. I'm preaching from a place that I've

  455. been through something similar, Amen, So very quickly, let's move on.

  456. Close the door.

  457. Trust me, it will all make sense through your neighbor says,

  458. it will all make sense. He's rambling right now, but

  459. it all makes sense.

  460. Amen.

  461. And then as you repeat it second by it's okay.

  462. Point number two, Carry it to Christ. Carry it to Christ.

  463. No matter what Gyrus went through, he continued to carry

  464. his problem to Christ. And so, friends, we live in

  465. the world that is broken. There will be problems in

  466. this world. And when you get hit by a bad report,

  467. when you get hit by a bad diagnosis, when you

  468. hit by a bad prognosis, whatever it is. When when

  469. you when you're told that you're being laid off, you're

  470. being told that the ecomic prospect is a good You

  471. gotta learn to close the door, shut the noise out,

  472. and then take this very real problem and bring it

  473. to Christ.

  474. See, I'm not asking you to be an Ostrich.

  475. Now. Sometimes we think that when Past asked me to

  476. have faith, you know, it's like to ask me to

  477. be like an Ostrich sticking my head into the ground,

  478. you know. And a lot of times people think that

  479. all Christians, you know, we're not living in reality.

  480. No, no, no, this is real.

  481. Take your problem and bring it to Christ. Gyrus brought

  482. his very real problem, and he brought it to Christ.

  483. When it was an illness, he brought it to Christ.

  484. When he became a death, he brought it to Christ.

  485. And all that Jesus asked stayed across. Keep believing, don't

  486. let fear in, don't be afraid, just believe. And so

  487. we gotta bring it to Christ.

  488. Amen.

  489. And and this is so important because again Jesus welcomes us.

  490. Jesus instructs us to do this. In Matthew chapter eleven,

  491. verse twenty eight to thirty, Matthew eleven, twenty eight to

  492. thirty says, this, come to me what some know, all

  493. of you who are wary, all of you who carry

  494. heavy burdens.

  495. And I will give you rest.

  496. Take my yoke upon you, and let me teach you,

  497. because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you

  498. will find rest for your souls.

  499. These are the words of Jesus.

  500. Jesus gonna say that, hey, man, when you believe me,

  501. all the problems will just go away. No, no, no,

  502. Jesus says, hey, hey, when you believe me, the world's

  503. gonna be really rough. They might hate you even more.

  504. But bring it to me. Bring your pain, bring it

  505. to me, Bring your shame, bring it to me. See,

  506. we got to overcome our fears sometimes. You know, our

  507. church so gracious is the prayer supporting? Here?

  508. Were praying for you.

  509. Yes, some of us were so afraid to even share

  510. what's going on on the inside. And I pray that

  511. one day God will help you to overcome. But until

  512. that day comes, can I tell you this? You can

  513. bring it to Jesus. He welcomes it. Sometimes the devil

  514. make you go like, oh, you see, now you pray,

  515. but you haven't been praying. You know, you haven't been praying,

  516. so you know, you know, how sure are you that

  517. God will God will help you? How sure you that

  518. God will answer you? You haven't been praying, you haven't

  519. been doing your quiet time, you haven't even been going

  520. to church, you haven't been tithing. Have you been attacked

  521. by all these noises before? You're gotta close the door

  522. because this is not of God. God never ever said

  523. that go to the temple, then bring all your stuff

  524. to me. Pay your tithes and offering, then bring all

  525. your stuff to me. Be a good person, then bring

  526. all your stuff. No, no, no, those are the pagan

  527. thoughts that we have inherited from our former faiths that

  528. we're gonna kick out.

  529. Jesus says, come to me.

  530. Doesn't matter what you've been doing, doesn't matter whether you've

  531. been praying, doesn't matter how long you've been a Christian

  532. or not. Come to me and I will give you rest.

  533. And So, friends, are you going through something scary? Are

  534. you going through something traumatic? Bring it to Christ. Carry

  535. it to the cross. Amen, carry it, because the thing

  536. is this that if you don't carry your fears, your

  537. fear will carry you.

  538. So you gotta carry your fear and surrender to Jesus.

  539. Otherwise your fear will carry you to all these scary places,

  540. into the room called depression, into the other room called

  541. self harm. No, no, no, You're gonna carry whatever going through,

  542. Bring it to Jesus. Solution is in Him and him alone.

  543. Rest is in Him and Him alone. Amen. And in

  544. Philippius chapter four for sixty seven says this, be anxious

  545. for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,

  546. Let your request be made known to God, and the

  547. peace of God, which surpasses all understanding. Will God your

  548. hearts and minds? How many need God to God your

  549. heart and mind and man? How may are going through

  550. something and go like God. I need some peace of

  551. heart and mind right now. I don't need more news.

  552. I don't need more reports. I don't need more checkouts.

  553. I need some peace of heart and mind. Good news.

  554. God wants to give it to you, and God wants

  555. to give it to you.

  556. In abundance, and he welcomes us right again. Be anxious

  557. for nothing but in everything, whatever you're going through, in everything,

  558. your fear, your worry, your sickness, your health, your marriage, problems,

  559. your health, promise, your children problems. By prayer and supplication

  560. with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

  561. Carry it to Christ a man. As Christians, we're gonna

  562. be confident.

  563. Amen.

  564. No more living around going like other fingers cross, fingers cross, no, no, no, please, Okay,

  565. there's only one cross in our lives, and it's on

  566. the cross that Jesus died for my sins. Amen. So

  567. the next time your friend says finger cross, break their

  568. fingers and then pray for their healing. Okay, right. The

  569. only dash wood you need is the wood on the cross. Okay,

  570. so you don't need come on, right, so you gotta

  571. carry it to Christ Amen. And then last but not

  572. least right, you gotta cast it out. You're gonna cast

  573. it out. Jesus chased the wrong people out, and in life,

  574. we're gonna do that. You know, we're gonna cast it out.

  575. But how do I castle? I'm gonna cast the demon reform? Great?

  576. Let me tiss you, okay, verst and full? Do I

  577. do find some prey? No? Okay, just say out in

  578. Jesus' name. Can't repeat after me? Say out in Jesus name.

  579. Right when when sometimes you have fear worry that comes,

  580. don't sit under that. Come on, you're gonna just very

  581. simple out in Jesus name, Get out, out out. You're

  582. gonna chase it out because it doesn't belong there, you know, like,

  583. let let me give us some scripture, right second Timothy

  584. verse one seven. Somemers are very familiar with this. Right,

  585. for God has not given us a spirit of fear,

  586. has not given us a spirit of fear. Don't time,

  587. you don't understand. He has not given us a spirit

  588. of fear. In other words, when spirit of field tries

  589. to come into you. It's trespassing. I'm not sure about you,

  590. but but how many of you here? I won't go

  591. into which pat is better cats or dogs? Dogs, But

  592. let's hypothetically say you live in the area where there's

  593. a stray cat problem.

  594. How have you been there before?

  595. Right? And they try to jump into your neighborhood and

  596. they pull and pee everywhere, right, And then when you

  597. see it, what do you do?

  598. You go like out right confidently. You don't go like

  599. whose cat is Thissa?

  600. Is it?

  601. Is it okay? Is it okay?

  602. You know I don't be so insensitive, you know, I

  603. don't mean so it's just in case it's the neighbors. No,

  604. you just got right.

  605. You take water, bottle out, spray right. Sound.

  606. You might even try to put rep poison, you know,

  607. all the car in it, and we will pray for you.

  608. But but you you stand your ground.

  609. When you see a cockroach enter your room, do you

  610. go like, mister cockroach, how has it been? You know?

  611. Come come tell me all about it?

  612. No, you scream, right, you take out I don't know

  613. double barrel, shoe talks or whatever, and you just right,

  614. you just you kick it out, You slap it whatever

  615. it is right right, And I mean I can say

  616. this because I cannot be honest. The Lord had to

  617. teach me the opposite. Because I'm actually like an animal lover.

  618. I should remember a true story. One time Passesandra saw

  619. a lizard, a gecko right in common right uh in

  620. in in her air conduct in the office.

  621. She say, that's a Liza Dave.

  622. And I happen at the time, I happened to be sitting,

  623. you know, my my little desk was opposite her office.

  624. So went in there and I saw the lizard there

  625. looking so frightened, and can you not have to I

  626. did this? I did this a good line. Come here

  627. no at the time Steve Irwin, and it was, you know,

  628. he was still alive. And so I was like trying

  629. to like, you know, come on, come on, little buddy,

  630. just just jump on my hand. I'll bring you out

  631. from here. And then passengers are Dave waiting, and then

  632. she took out, you know, and she's just you know,

  633. and uh, rest in peace and and so. But why

  634. I'm saying is this right now, all drugs are side.

  635. Sometimes we see stuff that doesn't belong. We are stern right,

  636. let me get a little bit more serious. If you're

  637. a girl, you're walking into a restroom and you see

  638. a guy hiding there, you scream.

  639. You don't, you're never polite about it.

  640. You don't.

  641. You don't go like, oh, excuse me, I will get

  642. out of here. No no, you scream and you go like,

  643. you move, get out.

  644. If you see an intruder try to enter your room,

  645. enter your house, try to harm your family, what do

  646. you do? Oh Robert, please, life must be had in Malaysia.

  647. Please take please take. You know you watch a lot

  648. of let mesa rap me. Oh please take the silver

  649. cutleries or Jean Valjean No, no, no, no, no no.

  650. You scream, you go like, get out, don't touch my tutor,

  651. get out. And even as a Christian, some foul enguage

  652. might even come out because you just want to get

  653. the wrong person out. How come we're so fearful to

  654. cast out these wrong emotions? How come we are so

  655. tolerant of fear in our lives? The Bible says God

  656. did not, has not will not give you a spirit

  657. of fear, And fear is a spirit He has a

  658. way of, you know, hiding and making things worse and

  659. haunting your life, and God is saying that did not

  660. give it to you. So the next time fear tries

  661. to come in, get keep and go like, stop it

  662. out in Jesus name out and say it until it leaves. Instead,

  663. the Bible says this that He has given us power, love,

  664. and sound mind. So these wise Christians were meant to

  665. go out there and disciple the world in power, love

  666. and sound mine who are not supposed to add to

  667. the fear mongery was supposed to add faith into the equation. Amen.

  668. One more scripture and then I'll tell my story. Is okay?

  669. First be Touchapter five, verse sixty seven. Therefore, humble yourselves

  670. under the mind the hand of God, that He may

  671. exhut you in due time. And what casting all your

  672. cares upon him? For he what tolerates you, for he

  673. pities you. For he if he's in a good mood,

  674. he might answer your prey. No. We can give all

  675. our worries and cares to God because He cares. Turn

  676. to your neighbor, says God cares. God cares.

  677. Cast it out.

  678. If you don't have strength to cast it out there,

  679. at least check it to Jesus, says school God.

  680. God, I don't want to do this Jesus. And Jesus, yeah,

  681. cast your cast to me.

  682. I can take it.

  683. I care for you.

  684. I'll keep you and the way, the truth and the life.

  685. I am the way, I am the gay, I am

  686. the shepherd. I will gud the door of your heart.

  687. Give it to me. Amen, let me. These are the

  688. three things you gonna catch from this scripture, from from

  689. Gyrus's interaction. Because Jesus did all that right. He closed

  690. the door. He brought the child to himself, and he says,

  691. talita kom and it always translated a little girl, get up,

  692. but actually in talita kum is an Arabic and arame

  693. is actually translated much more gentle. The little girl is

  694. is a keen to what shepherds will call the little sheep.

  695. So it's like almost a little lamb. It's very gentle.

  696. It's like me going to my son working out in

  697. the morning and going, hey, little body. And so, Jesus,

  698. this is a god with slf. He's a god that

  699. when you give your problems to him, he said, what

  700. is this problem? He goes like, hey, hey, it's gonna

  701. be okay. This is a god with self, got my

  702. fear got my cancer, got my future, got my got

  703. my good for nothing, sir sca, okay, got my marriage,

  704. just for it.

  705. It's gould be okay, it's gona be okay.

  706. Come on, get up, She'll be okay. Come on. Our

  707. God is a god who handles our problems with gentleness

  708. because he cares. And not only do we need carry

  709. our our issues to the cross and carry our issues

  710. to King Jesus or Christ, but we also need to

  711. actively cast the wrong ones out because Jesus also did that. Right.

  712. Let me put it all together right now, that's my son.

  713. His name is James. The Lord has blessed us to him.

  714. He is very cute. Can come up later after service

  715. to pay tribute to him when we get a touch

  716. if you want, The Lord both him with anointing for hair. Uh,

  717. that's his real hair. We did not put him on

  718. any treatment. He came out of the womb with hair

  719. and the hair kept growing. We haven't cut of his

  720. hair yet. He is turning seven months on for a

  721. tenth of April. But anyway, so yeah, he's noisy, he's

  722. he's a handful, but he's a blessing. The Lord bless

  723. us with with with James. We found out around January

  724. twenty twenty four. Can and I we were just loving

  725. the Lord, minding our own business, totally trying our lives

  726. to serving him, and one day the Lord just put

  727. an impression upon our heart. It says that Dave, I

  728. think it's time to start a family. And we're like,

  729. we're not the most paternal paternal people. But the Lord

  730. says that I want to bless you with a son.

  731. And the Lord begin to download into our hearts. You know,

  732. we begin to get impression. We even before we knew

  733. his gender. We kin knew that we're gonna have a boy.

  734. You know, we even knew, you know, his name is

  735. gonna be James's gonna use it mightily, you know, or

  736. you know, at least every parent hopes. And so we thought, okay, Lord, fine,

  737. well we'll give it a goal, you know, and you know,

  738. I hope it's not too explicit. I know their youth

  739. are here, so you know, you you're gonna try for

  740. a kid, and you know, me being totally closs about

  741. this kind of things, go like okay, destroy and uh,

  742. you know, we hear a lot of friends who who

  743. who try and they try for years you know, even

  744. go for ivy F and all that. And then we

  745. taught ourselves, you know, okay, we're hearing all these things

  746. from God. I'm not the most pertonal person you all.

  747. Cat will tell you she's not the most maternal person

  748. at that time. Now she's very look at her, and

  749. and and and so we thought, okay, God, well we'll

  750. give it a go, you know. And you know, sometimes

  751. the lot speaks, you just gotta obey. And if nothing happens,

  752. the lot hasn't spoken, it happens the lot has spoken.

  753. You know, sometimes you just gonna obey. And so upon

  754. being upon just trying before we knew it just like that,

  755. we we we we now, oh well, so fast, well

  756. prisk God, I guess this is how it's supposed to work,

  757. like the textbook. And uh and so so we were like, hey,

  758. price God. So in January twenty twenty four we found out, Hey,

  759. we're going to be parents. Yay. And you know, living

  760. in the UK, in all Malaysia is so blessed living

  761. in UK. The public health system there is that because

  762. it's count flight more or less free. Everybody gets two scans,

  763. two scans, only two scans one at a round three

  764. months stage and then one at maybe you know, two

  765. months before your delivery. You know, after that, if you

  766. want extra scans, you gotta go to private and stuff

  767. like that, you know. And so we were so excited

  768. to go for a first scan. Uh. And I'm sharing

  769. this also because hopefully this can be part of a

  770. U Turn testimony because this happened around U Turn last

  771. year and which were in right now. And so we

  772. went for our scan, you know for some parents, really excited.

  773. I got my camera out. I was thinking of take

  774. a picture of the ultra sound, really thinking of all

  775. this car. He went into the room and then you know,

  776. they were like, oh, well, baby looks very healthy.

  777. Oh baby is kicking.

  778. You know what I'm saying. A lot of very you know,

  779. encouraging things. And they were like yeah, yeah, yeah. And

  780. then certainly the room got really quiet because they were

  781. scanning the baby and an certainly they saw a certain

  782. area and they kept looking at the area, and they

  783. kept zooming in and measuring that area and and and

  784. and from cars like complimenting us on about our baby

  785. and how how strong his kicks and punches are. To

  786. certainly be very quiet, and then they go like, oh,

  787. I think we saw something, but king, give us a

  788. few minutes. We need to we need to consult another doctor.

  789. So we we came in one room and instantly now

  790. they whist us out on another room. You know, when

  791. you go for a medic check up, when you don't

  792. come out the same room, it's usually a bad thing.

  793. When they have to show you the back room, is like, oh,

  794. you know, And so they show us a back room

  795. which led to like a darkened corridor which had its

  796. own separate waiting area. And then suddenly they go like, okay,

  797. wait here, we're gonna bring your scans to the other

  798. doctor and then we're gonna we're gonna see what he says.

  799. And so long story short, they came back and then

  800. say we will see you now. And then we went

  801. into the room and then the doctor says that the

  802. sonographers will right to refer you to us because we

  803. notice and anomaly. So they say that usually, you know,

  804. at the back of a baby's neck there is a

  805. fluid called knuckle fluid.

  806. And so they go like, and this is again, you

  807. know something, this is so important for us to hear.

  808. This love of us. We think that sigence has all

  809. the answers. Signs doesn't have because this is what science

  810. told us. Okay, signs true. The doctor said that we

  811. don't know why, but there is a correlation. We cannot

  812. tell you why. Science hasn't discovered why, but but we

  813. have like enough data to tell you that there's a

  814. correlation between babies with a thick knuckle flu at the

  815. back of the neck and genetic disorders. We do not

  816. know why, but we can tell you that data show

  817. that they go hand in hand. The acceptable range is

  818. three point two millimeters of fluid at the back of

  819. your baby's neck. Your baby is four point six millimeter,

  820. so it's in their eyes, high high range. Then they

  821. crunch the numbers and they go like, plus the fact

  822. that you guys are older. You know, we're not that old,

  823. but according to science, we're old. Your baby has how

  824. many percent chance? No computer AI and all that it's tarting, Oh,

  825. how many percent charges of getting this syndrome? How many

  826. percent tries of getting this disease? Mays are getting this

  827. this And I go like, oh, it's just like zero

  828. point something one in eighteen doesn't sound very serious, doctor,

  829. Why what you're getting also worked out, I remember asking

  830. a person and doctor says no, no, because you must

  831. combine all of these figures together. And when you combine

  832. all of these figures together, mister yo, I'm here to

  833. tell you there is a one in four chance your

  834. child will not be born normal. You see, the world

  835. needs grace, the world needs site manners. I know this,

  836. this doctor definitely needs. But you see the world have

  837. nobody to show them. We expiations. We need to go

  838. out there and show faith, We need to go out

  839. there and show love. Right because at right there, at

  840. the moment, I go like, what kind of doctor are you? Man?

  841. What kind of news? This is the first time parent?

  842. You don't like? What there's a one in four chance

  843. your child will not be normal? And then they say

  844. would you like to go for further tests? And they

  845. encourage you this doctor, at least this doctor. Okay, I

  846. remember the doctor's name, Matthias. I hope there's no Matthias

  847. here true using a child's name. Don't chrust Mattias anyway.

  848. I'm just okay, just shoking, just joking. You know, I'm

  849. just a physical speaker angry letters. Please okay, if you're nhappy,

  850. I'm preaching today. My name is unpaying whole ah and uh, okay, complain, complain,

  851. I'm just joking.

  852. But but at that moment, right that this doctor Matthias.

  853. Was was really brutal, and and I was like, and

  854. then it's going to Mattias are going like, have you

  855. considered determination? No?

  856. No, we decided too. Oh are you sure? There's no shame?

  857. You know, because sometimes when you find out the child

  858. so much netting disorders, is that the kind of thing

  859. is to terminate. This is what the world tells us

  860. if you think for a second that we don't need

  861. to bring the gospel out. No, the world that's really

  862. needs to hear the good news, the world that really

  863. needs to hear that there is a better way. There

  864. is a Jesus way. And so that that was suddenly

  865. so so so I know a thing or two about

  866. going to a scary situation first time parents. At the

  867. start you turned, we were fasting going in for our

  868. first scan. We weren't like baby crazy people. We felt

  869. the lot asked us to try. Then only we tried,

  870. and we felt the Lord gift just like that, and

  871. so you know, it felt like the Lord was all

  872. over this.

  873. How come now the prognosis is so bad. Have you

  874. been there before?

  875. You started a jar and then it feels like the

  876. Lord gave you this job, and instantly halfway through the

  877. job turns hour you're in a relationship, you're in a marriage,

  878. and then you felt like the law started it. And

  879. then now halfway through the romance is gone and you're

  880. wondering should you continue? And fear is overwhelming. Friends, I'm

  881. here to tell you what do you need to do?

  882. Close the door? Close the door. So, of course, don't

  883. get me wrong, I'm standing here, I'm pastor, but I'm

  884. also just flesh and blood. When the doctor told me

  885. all that, I was shaken and I was saying that

  886. can we have time to think and pray about it?

  887. And the doctor was like, if you want the prisage,

  888. you better do it now because I'm gonna go off.

  889. And you know, I'm clocking off at five o'clock. You

  890. know now it's like four o clah blah blah blah.

  891. And I was like, dude, I'm trying to like, my

  892. wife is crying, I'm having I'm like I need to

  893. process this as No, if you need more time, just

  894. you know a callers back tomorrow and make another appointment. Okay,

  895. Just again in case you're wondering, is you okay? The

  896. best place anyway, you know, where God wants you to

  897. be is the best place. That's all I can say. Amen,

  898. if God wants you to be UK, that's the best place.

  899. If God wants you to be in Malaysia, that's the

  900. best place. And so we had to do a lot.

  901. Not sure if you've been through something similar, bad reports, cuddly,

  902. you're not looking for trouble, You're being faithful, and instantly

  903. life throws you a curveball. You thought you're stepping up

  904. by faith, Life throws you a curveball. And then right

  905. there and then we were like, what what do we

  906. do This child that we thought the Lord was blessing

  907. us with. Now the doctor is saying there's one in

  908. four chance, there's a twenty five percent chance he will

  909. be born with a genetic defect. But Lord, this is

  910. where we had to close the door. So we went

  911. back home that night. What we mean cross the door.

  912. I didn't tell my whole family because I know my

  913. whole family couldn't handle it. So I had to really

  914. pray and listen and reach out to one sibling who

  915. I knew could handle I didn't know. You know, we

  916. were church pastors there right in the UK. We didn't

  917. even tell the church what we're going through because you know,

  918. we we we felt that the church couldn't handle it.

  919. The church is young. The last thing we need them

  920. to think it is like, oh, am, I in the

  921. right church. How can the pastors are not protected by

  922. the blessing of God? Right? Right?

  923. Come on, right? Every time something bad happens, the pastor.

  924. Is going on I mean the round church. No, it's

  925. just life. Jesus went to the cross, was he not

  926. anointed the most anointed? Jesus betrayed. So if we measure

  927. our our matrice of a success by by nothing bad

  928. happened to us, then then don't follow Jesus because he

  929. died anyway. So we also felt like, okay, a bit

  930. too sensitive. The church is younger, couldn't handle it. You know.

  931. Eventually we we we when you know, we we eventually

  932. shared it to them and they rejoiced with us. But

  933. at that moment we had to close the door. So

  934. with the closer door, so Jesus must be in the

  935. close room decision making. We are the parents. We must

  936. be in the crossing decision. So who's our Peter, Who's

  937. our John, Who's our James? Or one of the john

  938. The James was one of my siblings, was also a doctor,

  939. who's also a believer. We reached out to. And then

  940. my siblings said that I'm so sorry to hear you

  941. go through this. Know these are the options, but but

  942. can I tell you got the advice that we gave

  943. us this trust God. Take it from me as a doctor.

  944. Trust God because tests cannot tell you everything. And if

  945. you open the door for tests, you open the door

  946. for more tests and more tests and more tests and

  947. more numbers and more numbers and more percentages which cannot

  948. tell you anything conclusive. And so right there and then

  949. I go like thank you, And then we say who

  950. can reach out to? We couldn't sleep little you turn.

  951. They didn't even have, you know, consumers when bad news come,

  952. you don't even have the energy to break fast. So

  953. middle of the night we're like, can't sleep, crying, not

  954. sure how to process this. We reach out to another person.

  955. This is why it's so so blessed in extra We

  956. have leaders, we have huddles, because we reach out to Passsenger.

  957. We just say that passenger, can we talk? She saw

  958. our texts at three a m.

  959. All our time. She's gonna give me a few minutes.

  960. I'll call you.

  961. Thank God for leaders like that can just encourage you

  962. in acts. There are a lot of very good leaders

  963. who you should let into your closed door room.

  964. Should let them in.

  965. They should be the Peter, they should be the John,

  966. they should be the James, the standing next to our

  967. Lord Jesus giving you got the advice. Then we called Passandra,

  968. poured our heart out to her. She just listened, and

  969. then she gave us again the same faith frequency advice.

  970. She says that daf we pray, don't need to share

  971. anyone too sensitive, but we pray the Lord has come

  972. through for so many coupoles in church to say by

  973. character who they are, but it come true and say

  974. that yes I believe it by faith, I believe, And

  975. so we close the door.

  976. After that, the next day, guess what we didn't bother.

  977. We only caught back the hospital to say that, hey, hospital,

  978. we decided we don't want to go for any more tests.

  979. We'll go for our checkups, but we don't want to

  980. go for more tests because we don't want this test

  981. to affect the way we look at the problem. I

  982. want Jesus to affect the way I look at my problem.

  983. See a lot of us. We're letting numbers, We're letting

  984. statistics affect the way we look at the problem. We're

  985. looking the algorithm effect the way we look at the problem. Know,

  986. let the word of God, let the knowledge of the

  987. Holy One. Let Jesus Amen close the door and make

  988. sure Jesus is in the side. Here point number two.

  989. After that, you're gonna bring it to Christ. So you

  990. know what, in the middle of U turn. And so

  991. this is my encourage for you if you're going through

  992. something similar.

  993. This is U turn.

  994. This is a season where we intentionally turn to God.

  995. And so we made a decision. Okay, we'll break fast

  996. at seven pm, but from six pm, one hour before

  997. breaking fast, we're gonna have family worship time. I can't

  998. play any instrument to save my life. So we thank

  999. God for our YouTube. So we found YouTube and we

1000. just press a worship song and we worshiped along. Do

1001. you know that there's power and worship. There is power

1002. and worship, And as every believer, we need to learn

1003. how to have private worship time. Your worship time shouldn't

1004. just be here. Amen. In fact, you know the ones

1005. that lead worship here, you know the really anointed worship leaders,

1006. they also have private worship. King David had private worship,

1007. but he also was undignified among the crowds leading the

1008. nation to worship the Lord. So so as Christians, we

1009. need to have private worship as well as corporate worship.

1010. So we're private worship. So private worship, we're just worshiping.

1011. And then we bring our problems to Christ. And the

1012. Lord taught me two ways. One way, says Dave, worship

1013. and then take communion and then breakfast. And so we

1014. took communion. Do you know that in the New Covenant,

1015. we too can take communion. You don't need an other thing,

1016. ohold here to serve you the communion. Strange your mouth?

1017. You know you can at home in this U turn.

1018. Prepare some bread, prepare some rebainier, and take it by faith.

  1019. You need healed.

1020. Take it by faith. He's a power is not in

1021. the bread and the cup. The power is what the

1022. bread and the cup represents. It represents the finish work

1023. on the cross and everything we're going through. We need

1024. to process it. We need to look at it. We

1025. need to understand it through the finished work on the Cross.

1026. And so right there every day we took Koreanian saying that, Lord,

1027. we believe whatever comes because you have paid the crist

1028. on the cross. If you can go to the cross,

1029. we can go through this. If you can go to

1030. the cross, we can go through this. If that is

1031. resurrection at the end of the cross, Lord, that that

1032. will be breakthrough for this. By at the same time,

1033. we remain humble. We didn't say God, you know, we

1034. don't want this to reject this because the Lord is sovereign.

1035. The Lord gives us a child especial needs, then by

1036. the grace of God and the finish work of the Cross,

1037. we will be parents who can do this. But if

1038. the Lord wants to give us healing by the finish

1039. word of the Cross, we will receive that healing. And

1040. you know what's one more thing the Lord challenged me

1041. to do. He says that, Dave, I want you to

1042. exercise your faith. He says that do you know the

1043. medical report? I said yes, Lord, he said, I want

1044. you to take the medical report and I want you

1045. to put it where it truly matters. And he says,

1046. you know, and the Lord says, I want you to

1047. take the medical report, and I want and this is

  1048. my medical report.

1049. This is my true medical report.

1050. I still carry with me, not because I'm fearful, but

1051. because the Lord says that I want you to take

1052. this medical report, and I want you to put it

1053. where it really matters. Put it under the authority on

1054. my word. Do you know your Bible is a gift

1055. from the lawn. Do you know when when pass understands

1056. there and goes like b y oh b, you know,

  1057. it's it's it's not just like a campaign, Okay, it's

1058. to remind you that, by the grace of God, we

1059. have a printed copy of the living Word of God

1060. that we can highlight, that we can write letters to

1061. God that if you're going through something, it's it's okay,

1062. it's at the feet of God.

  1063. Okay, thank you.

1064. You know. And and and and this I did. I

1065. took the report. This is the real part, and I

1066. put it behind revelations because you know, this under the

1067. authority of the Word of God. So whatever do you see?

1068. Because the report was having so much power over me,

1069. but I needed to put the report under a greater

1070. power so I put it under the water God and

1071. go say, report you sit under the thought your scripture.

1072. I also sit under thought your scripture. So you see,

1073. when you carry to the cross, it's not just you know,

1074. it's not just a wishful thinking. It's something we can do.

1075. We can take communion. That's one way to express carrying

1076. it to the cross, carrying to Christ. Take whatever you're

1077. going through. Are you going through depression? Can you write

1078. a letter to yourself? Can you write a letter declaring

1079. your healing, and can you put it under the thoughty

1080. of scripture? And can you date that letter one year

1081. from today and say that one year from today, I'm

1082. going to read this letter and this will be my testimony.

1083. Can you learn to write your testimony in advance and

1084. put it under the thoughty of scripture. That's another way

1085. for us to express bringing it to Christ. So that's

1086. what this Passa did. He put That's why that's why

1087. the medical reports to that, because this way it still belongs,

1088. and it was forever belonged. One day, when my son

1089. grows up he understands, I'll show him and say that

1090. this is where your bad news belong, and this is

1091. how the Lord healed you. Long story short, when you

1092. bring it to Christ, God knows, he cares, and and

1093. and and he meets us halfway. I know I'm writting

1094. out of time very quickly. I still got a storytell.

1095. So first scan horrible, bad doctor. Okay, so we bring it,

1096. take communion, worship. The Lord put it under scripture. And

1097. then by the third week of U turn and so worshiping,

1098. I felt the Lord said, as it is done, it

1099. is done. I'm like what. I felt peace that surpasses

1100. all understanding that came from outside, not within, because I

1101. had no peace inside outside.

1102. Come in and goes it is done.

1103. I certainly started just started cheering while worshiping, and I

1104. turned to care and care I just felt the losses.

1105. It is done, it is finished. And Kat goes like

  1106. I didn't for you doing so.

1107. And sometimes you know, the law will give you very personal,

1108. very personal confirmations that is for you and you only.

1109. And so while Kat continues to be pregnant with our child,

1110. I felt almost like I had to be pregnant for

1111. the miracle. I had to carry the miracle. I gotta

1112. speak life in the miracle. I gotta feed the miracle.

1113. And in nine months time there only we will know

1114. this miracle give us at the same time as as

  1115. the kid.

1116. And so I go like, God, I believe, I believe

  1117. it is done.

1118. And then after you turn, we went for our second

1119. scan because we didn't opt for testing to say okay,

1120. then coming for more scans. So in a way it's

1121. blessing these guys because if it was normal route, we

1122. only get two scans. Because of this route we get

1123. more scans, and so winning for the scan, they say

1124. that okay, you didn't want to test for all this

1125. genetic stuff like down syndrome, Edwards, patoles, whatever the name

1126. of all those kind things. But doesn't change the fact

1127. that one of the issues with genetic deformity is the heart.

1128. A lot of people with genetic defects have hot issues

1129. as well. Can we scan your child's heart. We have

1130. machines now it can look straight into the child's heart,

1131. so don't worry. I'll be like, okay. Sure were roaring

1132. there by faith with fear and trembling. And the first

1133. sign that the laws with first was different doctor, hallelujah.

1134. So it went in there go like different doctor, who okay?

1135. And then the person was like okay, I'm a specialist

1136. that looks into child's heart.

1137. I'll be like, thank you Jesus. Okay, looking looking looking

1138. scan scan scan scan scan, very.

1139. Nice, pleasant lady scan skin scan, and then go like

1140. huh but in a good way. Huh. And we're like, oh,

1141. it looked like there was once a tear, but the

1142. tear has closed itself and has healed itself. And they

1143. were like, what say there again? Yeah, it looked like

1144. it closed itself, so we can we can because we're

1145. using the fans things to look at it, so we

1146. can see it a little like scarring. It look like

1147. it closed itself. And they were like, oh wow, confirmation

1148. number one. And then we go like, what about the

1149. fluid and stuff at the back. Oh, no, it's nothing

1150. there anymore. Oh okay, okay, Oh praise God. And I

1151. didn't tell you about another thing that Lot challenged me

1152. to do, right, Jesus says, a faith a small as

1153. a mustard seed. So when you know I don't have

1154. a mustard seed by one peppercorn, and so I I

1155. went to measure the peppercorn, you know, And I measured

1156. peppercorn and and because the acceptable level was like three

1157. point two miles four point six, so it was like

1158. one point four difference. And then I go, A peppercorn

1159. is like one point four and or so I go like, Jesus,

1160. I think I got enough faith, like a peppercorn line,

1161. you know, like like I think you know me and

1162. kept leaving everything to come to UK to to start

  1163. a church.

1164. I think we got at least a peppercorn faith, you know,

1165. a lot. So God, we just need we just need.

1166. The difference was just one point six millimeters.

1167. I just need a peppercorn, Lord, you know, I just

1168. need less of a pepperca and uh and the Lord

1169. really to the paper away and it's okay, press croun,

1170. press grunt, go out there, what can breathe go back

1171. for scan number three? Scan number three, the sign we're

1172. in there, hallylood. You are a different doctor again, you know,

1173. at least not the first doctor. We're like, oh, thank you, Lord,

1174. you're still with us, and different doctor. The Lord knows

1175. how to speak your language. Design is a Chinese doctor.

1176. We go like, thank you doctor, I mean a uh

1177. you know, and the Chinese video is going like oh

1178. and then said that, okay, I know you opted off

1179. on the test. I know this can be very scary,

1180. but you know, if there are genetic disorders, there's uh there,

1181. it will be like maybe the malforming or the face,

1182. the chest, the limbs. So we're gonna look at the

1183. limbs of your child, We're gonna look at his skeleton.

1184. We're gonna lose his bone structure, and we're gonna see

1185. if there's anything to be worried about. And we were like, okay, cool.

1186. You know, at least this doctor care enough to go like,

1187. we want to help you, you know, diagnose. And so

1188. scan scan scan, scan, scan, scan, scan, scan scan, and

1189. go like, hmmm, it looked like from all this, your

1190. child looks completely healthy. The bone structure, everything is healthy.

1191. The scales, everything is healthy. The ficial ship, everything is healthy.

1192. And then this is where you know, God sends you

1193. the best doctor. But can I, uh is it okay?

1194. Since you have some more time. I'm actually left handed,

1195. but because most of the hospital equipment is right handed,

1196. so I trained myself to use the machine right handed.

1197. So I go like, wow, God give me the best doctor.

1198. You know, no, no same skin color as me. Uh uh,

1199. not that I'm atter, but you know it helps sometimes

1200. uh and and and while you know, while so so amazing,

1201. this young lady no train herself to use.

  1202. Her right hand.

1203. And then the doctor said, is it okay now for

1204. me to use my left hand to do the same

1205. scan again, But because this is my dominant hand, I

1206. trust that you'll be even more accurate. But this might

1207. mean they're more wires that they be pulled this way,

1208. and be like to pull all the wires you want

1209. to it just just you know so and then right

1210. hand scan, left hand scan, and say that again. I

1211. know you didn't offer test. I know it can be

1212. very scary coming for this kind of scans, but rest assured.

1213. I think it's safe to treat this like a normal pregnancy.

1214. And so we're like, wow, thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus.

1215. And so you know the thing is this right, you

1216. overcome your fear and can be honest. Sometimes for Christians

1217. when we really need God, we were fast, we're praying,

1218. and then when God begins to show up, we begin

1219. to rest on our laurels a little bit.

1220. Hello, have you been there?

1221. But a lot knows because you know the fourth scan,

1222. oh no, first doctor, you know what's the worst part?

1223. The doctor David, remember us the doctor who ruined our lives,

1224. you know, bad news. Go like have us seen you before? Yes,

1225. it changed our lives. You know, like see this is

1226. see don't go with the world. The world will treat

1227. you bad and will remember your name. But we serve

1228. a God who know is my name. So go with God. Amen?

1229. And so see the doctor game. What do I need

1230. to do this time? How could I cast it out?

  1231. Not cast him out?

1232. But I gotta don't get me wrong, I'm tempted to

1233. cast him out, but but I gotta be like, you know,

  1234. because suddenly.

1235. See, no, you meet your nemesis again. You know that

  1236. the devil.

1237. The flash whispers, Oh maybe this doctor, maybe he's more

1238. higher up, maybe this this, this, and you're like, no,

1239. out in Jesus name, out in Jesus name, out in

1240. Jesus name. And then, by the grace of God, even

1241. this doctor who gave us a very bad prognosis the

1242. first time around, when like, I know, the other tests

1243. all look okay, but you know, we won't know until

1244. the baby is born. And I'll be like, yeah, doctor,

1245. we won't know until the baby is born. Out in

1246. Jesus name, like because sometimes you need to do that

1247. you see fear. Like I said, it's not a one

1248. time thing. You know, you think you overcome and God

1249. is helping you overcome. But you're gonna fight a good fight.

1250. You're gonna finish the race. You're gonna keep telling yourself

1251. out again, out again, out again, every month, out out

1252. until the law says it is done. Now I know

1253. I'm running out of time. I got more testimonies to share,

1254. but I gotta cut. Shot my story, long story. Shot.

1255. Baby was born and baby is healthy, by the grace

1256. of God, lots of hair, no genetic disorders, whatever. But

1257. our journey doesn't stop there. Fear still pounce us on

1258. God's people. Tragedy still pounce us on God's people. You know, recently,

1259. when can I came back to Malaysia visit family, everything,

1260. We came here from Penang after visiting family, the moment

1261. respect of us got danky, who has got danky right?

1262. And you know sometimes when you get hit by different things,

1263. you know, just being real top you know, can now

1264. after a while, after we recover from Nankee, we go like.

1265. It's scared to go out.

1266. You know. Now you see Mosquito be scared because you

1267. got bitten once twice shy and fears like that. So

1268. we're gonna keep putting fear in his rightful place. So friends,

1269. close the door and keep closing the door. But make

1270. sure you put the right ones in. Bring it to

1271. the cross, and keep bringing it to the cross. Don't

1272. just bring it to the cross one time. Whatever you're

1273. going to, keep bringing it to the cross. Your financial

1274. issues bringing the cross, your personal issues, bring to the cross.

1275. Does the matter if you're younger, Oh, I know we've

1276. got Lord. Young people are used good for you can't

1277. bring it to the cross, that's the matter. Your friends

1278. call you ugly, close the door. You don't need the magazines,

1279. you don't need the algorithm to dig. Take your beauty standard.

1280. You need Jesus. They take your beauty standard, and he

1281. says you're beautifully fearfully made. And then bring it to

1282. the cross. Jesus, I know you say I'm very beautiful,

1283. but I don't feel beautiful. Bring it to the cross.

1284. Bring it to Christ God. I feel ugly. Bring your

1285. ugliness to me, and I will take your burdens and

1286. I will give you peace for your souls. Bring it.

1287. Bring it whatever is. Bring your eating disorder, bring your

1288. health condition. Bring your fear for the future.

  1289. Bring it.

1290. And then when it's at the cross is with Christ.

1291. Remember again the enemy. You see, the enemy can't take

1292. your surrender away, but the enemy can whisper lies. And

1293. so sometimes after we surrender, we're gonna wait for the breakthrough.

1294. And when we're waiting for the breakthrough, that's where the

1295. enemy tries to whisper lies. And while you're waiting for

1296. the breakthrough, cast out every spirit of fear and ask

1297. God to give you power, love and a sound mind.

1298. Amen and friends, we need this. The world needs it.

1299. I know a lot of us here we need it.

1300. We need this for our personal lives. But we also

1301. need to live like this because there is a world

1302. out there there is terribly afraid, afraid of everything, and

1303. we need to show them that there's a better way

  1304. of living. There's a Jesus way of living. There's a

1305. victorious way of living. There's a courageous way of living.

1306. There's a god way of living. And as Christians, that's

1307. lead the way. Let's show the world what true faith

1308. looks like. Let's show the world what true courage looks like.

1309. Courage in the faith of adversity, courage in the face

1310. of opposition. Amen, let's pray. Thank you Lord, thank you Jesus,

  1311. thank you Lord.

  1312. Lord.

1313. I just want to pray right now. I just want

1314. to pray for everyone here who could be going through

1315. a fright, fearful thing right now. It could be a

1316. medical report, could be a financial thing. Maybe some people

1317. got laid off. Maybe some people are afraid they'll be

1318. getting laid off. Some people are going through I don't know,

1319. relationship problems, marriage problems, family problems, health problems.

1320. Law, will we love you? Yeah, we're so afraid.

1321. And so right now, Lad, I pray that you will

1322. give everyone your fresh revelation that you are the God

1323. who cares. You are the God who made our problem

1324. your problem. You did it two thousand years ago on

1325. the cross and you're still doing it today. And so God,

1326. right now, Law, would you help my brother and sisters

1327. here to see their problem is your problem. Their problem

1328. is your problem. You are the God who cares. And Lord,

1329. I pray that you were surround my brother and sisters

1330. here with godly counsel. Law, you will cast all the

1331. wrong ones out, you will cast the wrong spirit out.

1332. But Lord, you will close the door and you will

1333. fill the room with first and foremost you, Lord, Jesus,

1334. the Lord, I pray that you also give different ones

  1335. here a Peter.

1336. James that they can rely on you.

1337. See, Jesus knew he had twelve disciples, but he brought

1338. only three because at that moment he didn't need a Thomas.

1339. At that moment, he didn't need a Philip. And now

1340. Christians in our lives, but we need to be very

1341. selective of who our godney council is. And Lord, I pray, Lord,

1342. help us even in this season of Utah, to buy faith.

1343. Bring our issues to you rather through worship, through prayer,

1344. through communion, or through simple acts of faith. Simple acts

1345. are prophetic faith. Lord, help us, Lord, to know that

1346. you are a personal God. You welcome. You welcome our curiosity,

1347. You welcome our interaction. Friends, don't be afraid to interact

  1348. with God.

  1349. Some of us here.

1350. You need to. You're going through something, and the sense

1351. is a word from the Lord. You need to begin

1352. to write out your testimony. I know you haven't experiencing,

1353. but write it in advance by faith. Write out the

1354. testimony that you will share at prayer, meeting, at church,

1355. at homes and write it out by faith. Write it out,

1356. how you're going to pass your exam. Write it out,

1357. how you're going to overcome that that that that that

1358. mental health issue. Write it out and put it by

1359. faith under the world of God, and say that, Lord,

1360. I believe. I believe you are the God who healed

1361. and still heals. You're a God who provided and still provides.

1362. You are the God who's saved and still saved. And Lord,

1363. give us a courage to cast out the voices and

1364. the noises that are not from you. Give us even

1365. the discipline to stop reading, stop scrolling, stop watching the

1366. things that are unhelpful, and only leave room for you.

1367. In Jesus name me pray Amen.

1368. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
