  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Proverbs in the Old Testament. In Proverbs fifteen, verse eight,

  4. now I put the scripture up, okay, because today a

  5. little bit more scripture. Okay, So hence there's not one

  6. long text. But please turn to your bibles with me. Okay.

  7. You bought your bibles alone, yes, okay, So why I

  8. say turned to your Bible. Maybe I accidentally type wrongly,

  9. or you have a different version, and you can learn

  10. from both of the versions. Okay. So the scripture that

  11. I'm showing will be mainly all from the New Living Translation,

  12. but sometimes I will use the New King James, and

  13. I'll indicate that. Okay. So let's do a Proverbs fifteen,

  14. verse eight, it says the Lord detests the sacrifice of

  15. the wicked, but he delights in the prayers of the upright. Now,

  16. I'm not so much talking about the first part of

  17. the verse, but I'm mainly speaking on the second part.

  18. He delights in the prayers of the upright. Do you

  19. know that you are upright seated today here in the

  20. presence of God because of what Jesus has done amen,

  21. not that we deserve it, but he in him, we

  22. have been made upright, immed. And because we are upright,

  23. he delights in your prayer. Now, do you know the

  24. word delight is a strong word, indicates a strong pleasure,

  25. a keen interest. That means Jesus, God is very interested

  26. in your prayer. Okay, good news, isn't it? Good news? Okay?

  27. God is very interested in your prayer. But that's of

  28. course if you are upright, and we are all upright

  29. here again by the grace and by the blood Jesus, immen,

  30. we are upright when we are sincere, when we come

  31. to God with prayer, he delights in our prayer. He

  32. loves to hear us. Immen. Now, So there's the Old Testament.

  33. Now going to the New Testament. We also have many scripture,

  34. and all of it I will quote. One is what

  35. Jesus say, okay, emphasizing that God wants to us to pray.

  36. So there is also action on outside that we must

  37. pray like okay, pray and he wants us to receive

  38. what we pray for. So that is the review. Let

  39. mess our God. It's not hiding it from us. No,

  40. it's a secret. No, he revealed it to us. The

  41. will of God for every believer is that we should

  42. pray and that we should receive. Now why do I

  43. say this because it's found in God's word. Now let's

  44. look at gospels. So we're going to go from Matthew

  45. to Mark to John. Okay, okay, So from Matthew. So

  46. the first gospel in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter seven,

  47. verse seven to eight. Now we're going to capture the

  48. words of Jesus. But remember the gospels are all written

  49. by different people, right, so different decip different ones capture

  50. what Jesus said, maybe from a different perspective, and we

  51. put it all together and we can see it all. Right.

  52. So Matthew seven, verse seven to eight is Jesus said,

  53. keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for.

  54. Keep on seeking and you're fine. Keep on knocking and

  55. the door will be open to you. You notice it

  56. is very specific. Jesus didn't say ask one timer, and

  57. it's not asking or just not one time, but it's

  58. the He emphasized the keeping on That means there's a

  59. continuously asking, a continuously seeking and knocking. And then he

  60. somewhat added on my chum. In case you not clear,

  61. let me give you the punchlinea verse eight for everyone

  62. and everyone increases you and I everyone okay, who asks receives,

  63. everyone who seeks finds, and to everyone who knocks, the

  64. door will be opened. Now. Notice here in two verses

  65. any negative statement, any butts no, I would say six times,

  66. although it's repeated, but it's six times like a show.

  67. Hello the If you don't get me, I'm telling you

  68. six times six times. Jesus is telling us God wants

  69. you to pray. Of course, by he also wants you

  70. to receive what you pray for. Amen. Hallelujah is good news. Amen.

  71. If it is courage today, be encouraged today. Hallelujah. Now

  72. moving on in Metthiu So Methil a few chapters after,

  73. in Mattel twenty one so chapter twenty one, Verse twenty two,

  74. Jesus said, you can pray for anything, and if you

  75. have faith, you will receive it. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah.

  76. So simple. One line may be read, Okay, if you

  77. can pray for anything and if you have faith you

  78. will receive it. Jesus is directly straight to the point.

  79. No foulhafu high here one. Okay. Now we look at

  80. another gospel, okay, the Gospel of Mark, chapter eleven, verse

  81. twenty four. And I feel this one is a direct

  82. parallel verse to the one we read in Mattew twenty one.

  83. It says, in Mark eleven twenty four, I tell you

  84. you can pray for anything, and if you believe that

  85. you have received it, it will be yours. So it

  86. also explains what it means to have faith. Okay, So

  87. if you have faith, that means you believe that you

  88. have received it will be your Amen, Church a man, Amen, Church, Amen,

  89. Amen to God's word. Not to mean I'm not I say. Okay.

  90. Now let's look into the Gospel of John and see

  91. what the apostle John wrote. So you saw what written

  92. the Mark Matthew. Now John chapter fourteen, verse thirteen to fourteen.

  93. Thank you. You can ask for anything in my name,

  94. same thing, different authors, by the way, same thing, And

  95. I would do it, Jesus said, so that Ah. But

  96. God added on stuff here okay, to let us understand

  97. sometimes the purpose and how and some of Okay, Now

  98. where am I getting to is there are conditions? Now, okay,

  99. there are certain conditions that needs to be met as well.

  100. All right, So they are letting us in so that

  101. the Son, as in the Son of God, can bring

  102. glory to the Father. Amen. Verse fourteen. Yes, ask me

  103. for anything in whose name, not my name, not your name,

  104. in Jesus's name, and I will do it. So you

  105. can see a few points here. Is to glorify God

  106. is to ask in his name. John fifteen. One chapter

  107. after that, Jesus continue the talk. Just thought the Lord

  108. very good, very good, not in a bad way. Okay.

  109. But if you remain in me hahah, and my words

  110. remain in you John fifteen, you may ask for anything

  111. you want and it will be granted because some more

  112. conditions and all you must remain in God and allow

  113. God's work to remain in earth. Amen. Now last one,

  114. at least for now, John sixteen. Not a chapter again.

  115. Verse twenty four. Jesus say, you haven't done this before,

  116. ask using my name, and you will receive. And then

  117. he didn't stop there, but did he say, and you

  118. will have abandoned joy. That is the God that we serve. Hallelujah.

  119. You're excited. I'm excited that. So I was telling the

  120. am Church when I was preparing this. I strugg go

  121. at the beginning. I stull get the longest at the beginning.

  122. You know why? It's so simple? And yet God was

  123. asking me, Joe, do you really believe that I'm hearing

  124. your prayer? Because sometimes I admit, right, we pray, but

  125. we don't think God really hears our prayer. One, but

  126. we feel we have to pray. That it's our job,

  127. our duty to pray. But never my lo, God, if

  128. you don't hear me, never mind, No, it's not never mind.

  129. God wants to hear a prayer. Amen, amen, but just me,

  130. I confess, all right. Then it's a reminder, Jode, I

  131. hurt you. I will take care of you. Don't worry,

  132. okay for example? All right? Yes, so yes, so amen.

  133. So Jesus challenged us. But you know this, God got

  134. action on outside on every time it's got us ask

  135. us want to pray, pray, prayer that it's not like

  136. you just sit there doing nothing and then give okay,

  137. there's also action on outside. All right, But isn't it

  138. wonderful to know that the creator of the whole universe

  139. is interested in our prayer and he is waiting to

  140. answer our prayer. Amen. Okay, So just from the just

  141. from these few verses, it's definitely not only this, but

  142. just from these few verses, I drove out a few points. Firstly,

  143. we have to ask next night, thank you xtiv. We

  144. have to ask, and then we have to have faith.

  145. And then it was explained in two of the Gospels,

  146. meaning we have to believe that we have received Amen.

  147. And then we have to ask in Jesus's name. And

  148. then I put record right purpose that mis Your purpose

  149. of you asking is so that the Father will be glorified, Amen,

  150. and that we will have abundant joy. You see how

  151. God never leave us out w I know Cau also

  152. care that you have abundant joy. Amen. God is a

  153. good God. Amen. Amen. So what is so the question

  154. would be what is the motive of our prayer? What

  155. is the motive that's acceptable to God? It is that

  156. God may be glorified? And do you know why God

  157. wants to answer our prayer? Because He will be glorified

  158. when He answers our prayer. Amen. So the more we

  159. claim God's promises, the more God will be glorified. Amen.

  160. And the last point we have to remain in Jesus

  161. and have His word remain in us halleliah Imen. But

  162. this is just an introduction, okay, and I won't be

  163. talking about this maybe part two if I ever speak again,

  164. lentity if I well, no worries, okay, but maybe eight am.

  165. I will continue. But today, following our here, I first

  166. of all, I want to establish this as an introduction

  167. because I will go into some principles and some conditions

  168. for effective prayer. I will just touch on three points today.

  169. But even as we go into that, let us not forget,

  170. as I said, now that we look into God's word,

  171. that we believe that God hears our prayer, imen, and

  172. that God wants to answer our prayer. Amen. So on

  173. that premises we will go on in our message today,

  174. will be good tend to the church. Yes, that God

  175. really wants us to pray, and God really hears us,

  176. and he really wants to answer our prayer. Amen. I'm

  177. going to go to three basic principles or conditions for

  178. approaching God in prayers so that our prayer will be effective.

  179. Do you want your prayer to be effective? I want

  180. my prayer to be effective, Amen. So I'll just touch

  181. on treatings. Firstly, I summarize first, so that I give

  182. you the whole view. First. It's a very typical good

  183. thing I am. And today we're gonna achieve. Okay, okay,

  184. you want to. We should approach God with praise and thanksgiving. Amen.

  185. We should approach God without condemnation, and we will look

  186. into God's word. And we need to approach God with

  187. right relationships so that our prayers will not be hindered,

  188. our prayers will be answered. Amen. Are we ready? Yes?

  189. We are ready? All right? Come, So the first one

  190. we need to approach God, we praise and thanksgiving. So

  191. now we all know, and I'm sure we all heard

  192. this message before. We don't praise God based on our feelings.

  193. We praise God because of the truth of who he is. Amen.

  194. And because He is God and he doesn't change his goodness,

  195. his mercy and yours forever that we sung just now,

  196. that's why we will always have a reason to praise

  197. Him and thank Him. So the praising and thanking God

  198. is not dependent on our situation, our circumstances, or our feelings. Meaning,

  199. if your boss is nice to you, then you praise God.

  200. What's not nice to you, then you don't pray God

  201. so it's not dependent on that. So we go into

  202. another realm where we are writing on the truth of

  203. God's love, meaning that's who God is. I praise God

  204. because God is good regardless of what is going on

  205. about me, and I'm sure we all know that, all right. Yeah,

  206. So we don't praise God based on the things that

  207. are happening. Now, if we don't do that, because the

  208. word of God, which I will bring us later on,

  209. we will see that the way to access to God

  210. is the way of praise and thanksgiving, and there's no

  211. other way, all right. So if we don't come to

  212. God we pray and thanksgiving, we will be praying. So

  213. we're talking about prayer now, we will be praying from Afar.

  214. And that's why sometimes maybe we feel like God is

  215. very distant from us. All right. So let's look at

  216. Psalms hundred. Now some hundreds is a very famous sum,

  217. and usually worship leaders I like to, you know, we

  218. declare this some at the start because it's correct, it's

  219. biblically correct, and we've got to come into what His

  220. gates with thanksgiving, isn't it. So let's look adverse. For

  221. in Psalms hundred, it says, enter his gates with thanksgiving,

  222. go into his courts, praise, give thanks to him, and

  223. praise his name. So what is the gate here? What's

  224. the gate thanksgiving? Now? How do you enter? Any you enter?

  225. Or the dollar? So in other words, like the dollar.

  226. All right, the door or the gate is thanksgiving. Now

  227. you don't climb over the fence, right, the climb over

  228. the fans are who thieves? And all? Okay, we are

  229. children of God right now we don't know, so we

  230. go to the gate. So the gate is thanksgiving, and

  231. the cord of access into God's presence is praise. Hallelujah.

  232. In the word of God. The gate is thanksgiving. The

  233. cord of access is praise. So if you don't come

  234. with thanks and praise, we actually don't have access into

  235. the process of God. So sometimes you may say that,

  236. how come I don't feel the presence of God because

  237. you never come to the gate? Law, okay, the gate

  238. is thanksgiving? All right? Yeah, all right? And you may

  239. feel lonely. You may feel lonely. You feel like, oh,

  240. I won't do my quiet time, but I don't feel

  241. like I don't feel God is here. Maybe you haven't

  242. entered the gate all right, okay, so you got to enter,

  243. all right. And sometimes we do feel lonely, we do

  244. feel shut off, we feel we move, we feel God

  245. is far away from us. But that's when we should

  246. begin to praise and to thank him. Amen. And do

  247. you know that the petition part, that your prayer part,

  248. the asking part, doesn't take very long because God already

  249. know your needs. So that's why God always teaches us

  250. you go first with praise and thanksgiving. Then you then

  251. when you come right into the process of God. Huh,

  252. you give up all you give your by the time

  253. you want to pray by you're like Jesus, I know

  254. you would do it all for me. True or not,

  255. it happens to all of us. Amen. Amen. So it's

  256. going into that relationship with God first where we know

  257. that then whatever you pray God, here's your prayer. Amen,

  258. and God will do it. Amen. And we pray according

  259. to His will. Now New Testament. So that was Psalm

  260. hundred and four. Now Philippians for six and some of

  261. us can memorize this or so what does it say?

  262. Don't worry? All right? So Philippines for six says, don't

  263. worry about anything. This is a new living transition in

  264. the new King, James will be be anxious of nothing. Instead,

  265. pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him.

  266. That means that even before you get your answer, you

  267. are thanking the Lord for all that he has done.

  268. All right, Amen, So never withhold the thanksgiving part. And

  269. as we begin to thank God for who he is

  270. for what he has already done, faith will arise naturally

  271. in our hearts even before we even pray for our needs. Amen.

  272. So again I conclude this for this point. The means

  273. of access to God, or the only way into His presence,

  274. is the way of thanksgiving and praise. So enter into

  275. his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts we praise.

  276. So before we can begin our petitions, always take time

  277. to thank and to praise God. So my question for

  278. us today have we did this morning when we worship together?

  279. Of course, yeah, we worship, you know this morning? Have

  280. we entered into His presence? You could to ask ourselves

  281. the I really enter into His presence? Amen? And I pray.

  282. My prayer is that all of us every Sunday when

  283. we come together as a body of Christ, but of

  284. course individually in your marketplace, in your room daily. That's

  285. what really comes actually here. But here you got people

  286. to pray together with you and worship together with you.

  287. Do it right now, I feel and one day I

  288. one Sunday, I miss Sunday. I feel the difference on

  289. know then you go back to your Monday to Saturday.

  290. Oh yo, how I miss the Sunday because you are

  291. gathering together with the body of Christ. Imen. So every

  292. time we come together, come into God's presence. Immen amen.

  293. So that's the first point. We approach God in prayer

  294. with praise and thanksgiving right now. Moving on, we approach

  295. God in prayer without condemnation. Okay. So in other words,

  296. we have to approach God boldly. Now I want to

  297. refer us to some sixty six. Okay, some city six. Now,

  298. some sexy six. I'm not too sure who's the author.

  299. It could be King David. It may not be him,

  300. but somehow it did not indicate it was him. It

  301. could be it sounds like him. Okay. Now, let's read

  302. verse eighteen in Psalm sixty six. The Psalmi said, if

  303. I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the

  304. Lord would not have listened. Okay. So this is the

  305. new living translation in the New King James. Maybe some

  306. of you are more familiar. If I regard iniquity in

  307. my heart, the Lord, we're not here. So what does

  308. it mean if I regard iniquity in my heart, or

  309. if I don't confess the sin in my heart? It

  310. just means that I'm coming to God. But I'm conscious.

  311. I'm conscious of in my heart of something that condemns me. Okay.

  312. And every time I try to approach God with faith,

  313. Satan will come and remind me of this thing that

  314. is not right, and that you have not dealt this,

  315. with this, with that, with that, but sin. Maybe that

  316. you have not confessed, or you or even if you

  317. have confessed, you have not claim and received forgiveness from God. Amen. Now,

  318. So I'm conscious of this thing in my heart all

  319. the time. And if I come and this is what

  320. we call a guilty conscious okay, So you come to

  321. God with this condemnation, we will not receive the answer

  322. to our prayers, it says in God's word. All right,

  323. So we must first remove this consciousness of sin from

  324. our hearts, and this can only be done by faith.

  325. So I want to turn us to first John one nine.

  326. It's one of my favorite verses because it helps us

  327. claim and shut off the voice of the enemy, all right,

  328. that will constantly come and accuse us. Imen. Now so

  329. because when we confess our seeing the Scripture says what

  330. in first John one nine, if we confess our saying,

  331. he's faithful and he's just to forgive us our sins

  332. and doesn't stop there, you know, Church, to cleanse us

  333. from all unrighteousness in New King James or wickedness. Wickedness

  334. here just means any deviation from the will of God,

  335. any disobedience in our hearts, all right, not in full

  336. obedience to God, you know? And what and sin is

  337. a sin? Okay? So anything, but it covers everything in

  338. this verse. Amen? Amen? And what we need to do?

  339. What is the ax on our part? Confess our sins

  340. to the Lord? Now why the Lord? But saying oh

  341. if I wrong, conscin, I say sorry to correct fellow men.

  342. To men, we also need to say apologize, we make

  343. right spouse, husband and wife, children, parents? But do you

  344. know who you ultimately sin? God? How do we know?

  345. David said it in Psalms fifty one. I believe yes,

  346. it's against you and you only have I seen you

  347. only you know. So actually, yes, you sin against your brother,

  348. your sister, but actually you're sinning against God. So it's

  349. God that you need to make right with. Amen. Amen.

  350. But when we confess it, when we repent, So there's

  351. the confession and the repentance part here, Okay, God will

  352. forgive us, God will cleanse us. Amen Amen. And we

  353. cannot do anything about the sin problem. So I say

  354. again except to confess it, to repent and say God,

  355. I will not do this anymore. Just like King David,

  356. he repented and then trust God. So the moment you

  357. confess you repented, you trust God for the forgiveness and

  358. the cleansing that he has promised. And when you receive

  359. a D, receive a D. Don't go about worrying about

  360. your sins anymore, okay, because if we remain conscious, are

  361. conscious about our sin when we pray God, it will

  362. hinder our prayer, immen. So that's what it means. Okay. Now,

  363. the beautiful thing about this sum is that let's read on. Okay,

  364. So some sixty six. Now I'll go a little bit

  365. forward to verse sixteen, and then after that again backward

  366. and forward. So verse sixteen the Psalmi said, come and listen,

  367. all you who fear God. And I believe I'm speaking

  368. to hearts this morning who fear the Lord. Amen. We

  369. sincerely fear God. We want to walk upright with the Lord, immen.

  370. And the Sami said, I will tell you what he

  371. did for me verse seventeen. For I cried out to

  372. him for help, praising him as I spoke. And this

  373. is the first point. We just say, as you cry out,

  374. you must praise the Lord. Amen. Amen. Verse eighteen. We

  375. just read just now. If I had not confessed the

  376. sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened

  377. verse nineteen. But God did listen. Amen. He paid attention

  378. to my prayer. Praise God who did not ignore my

  379. prayer or withdraw his unfailing love for me. Hallelujah, Jesus.

  380. God is good. Amen. Amen. But this shows us that

  381. you cannot hire anything from God. Okay, your heart will

  382. condemn you. Okay, you wrong? Really, just say sorry to

  383. God and do it with God, you know. Yeah, Meaning

  384. we cannot hire anything from Godd already knows and we

  385. need to come clean before him. Amen a man, hallelujah,

  386. thank you Jesus. Amen. Now I want to read from

  387. first John. Now we read first John one nine just

  388. now right, okay, now we want to read first John tree.

  389. Now this talks about the heart not and the condemnation

  390. the heart, okay, which is very important. So let's read

  391. First John three twenty. What does it says here, For

  392. if our heart condemns us another hallelujah versa, God is

  393. greater hallelujah. God is greater than our heart, and he

  394. knows all things. So if our heart condemns us, God

  395. is greater. Amen. So we don't have to hide anything

  396. from God. God already knows what we need to do.

  397. Here is church. We need to be open, We need

  398. to be honest with him. We need to be sincere.

  399. We need to confess every sin, every transgression, every thought,

  400. every shortcoming that you know that has hurt God, has

  401. sin against him or others. And then once it's confessed,

  402. once we dealt with it, let's receive and accept complete forgiveness,

  403. complete cleansing. Then we can come to God without condemnation.

  404. A man church a man. On verse chapter three, verse twenty,

  405. we're gonna read on verse twenty one and twenty two.

  406. It says, dear friends, so when you don't feel guilty.

  407. So if we don't feel guilty, after we set to everything,

  408. we can come to God with bold confidence. Amen. Church.

  409. So this is what it means to come to God

  410. with both confidence, the confidence that comes from being forgiven

  411. and being cleansed by God. Amen. And then what verse

  412. twenty two. Hallelujah our prayer? Right? Okay, And we will

  413. what we see from Him whatever we ask, because we

  414. obey Him and we do the things that please him. Amen. Wow,

  415. Thank you Jesus. Amen. God is good. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen.

  416. So we know when we come to God, after we

  417. as settle everything, God hears us, and we will receive

  418. all that because we work in the obedience to Him. Amen.

  419. Now so we read from first John. Now we're going

  420. to go to Hebrews for a short while. Can you

  421. follow me? Are you still doing? Okay? Turn to your

  422. neighbors and say are you okay? Turn the gener neighbors.

  423. Stay awake all right, don't worry. We're getting to the

  424. end day, okay. Hebrews. Now Hebrews chapter four, verse sixteen.

  425. Then later we go to Hebrews ten. Just a quick one.

  426. This is you hear us. You hear these verses a

  427. very famous verse. All right, but we want to talk

  428. about coming into the presence of God. And even as

  429. you pray every day in your prayer closet, in your

  430. quiet time, this is how we should approach God. Amen.

  431. So in verse sixteen, in chapter four, the author of

  432. Hebrews wrote, so let us come boly. Can you see

  433. the why come bowly? Now, come bodly to the throne

  434. of our gracious God. Now in the New King James,

  435. he says, let us come bowly onto the throne of grace.

  436. There we will receive his mercy and we will find

  437. grace to help us when we need it. Most awesome.

  438. God is awesome, Hallelijah. So remember it is a throne

  439. of grace that we are coming to now. So we

  440. come to a throne of grace, not based on merit. No,

  441. because it's traun of grace. Day. They miss trying and

  442. tell you you men man don't deserve the men mon okay.

  443. The ma man is the word. I like this word.

  444. I don't know of any other English word that will

  445. that will give the same meaning of men moan. It's

  446. me maha men monk okay. I don't know how to

  447. say any other way. Okay, Okay, So it's me moan

  448. you men man, we men, man not deserving. Okay, So

  449. it's a trone of grace. So we come not on

  450. the basis of merit, but we come in the name

  451. of Jesus. We come with So back to point number one,

  452. we come, we approach God in prayer to the throne

  453. of Grace, with praise and thanksgiving for who he is.

  454. Can you see how it all links together? Because it's

  455. me man, what He has done for us? Right? And

  456. we come without condemnation. We dealt with everything, we confess,

  457. we repent right, and we come boldly because God has

  458. called earth to come and he's there sitting on the

  459. throne of Grace. Amen. Now let's turn to Hebrews chapter ten, right,

  460. verse nineteen to twenty two, And so, dear brothers and sisters,

  461. we can boldly enter Heaven's most holy place because of

  462. the blood of Jesus. Now I'm not sure I appreciate

  463. this here, but I think, am Church, we thought about

  464. the most holy place basically is the presence of God. Amen.

  465. We can come right into the presence of God without

  466. anybody to sacrifice animal anymore for us a day through

  467. the blood of Jesus, Amen, verse nineteen, verse twenty by

  468. his death, So it's all about Jesus. Amen. Jesus opened

  469. a new and life giving way to the curtain into

  470. the most holy place verse twenty one. And since we

  471. have a great high priest and there's Jesus who rules

  472. over God's house verse twenty two, let us what Let's

  473. go right into hallelujah, right into the presence of God.

  474. That's my question to us this morning, myself, this morning,

  475. have we gone right into the presence of God today?

  476. As you worship? We sincere hearts fully trusting Him for

  477. our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood, basically

  478. covered by the blood of Jesus. Amen, Amen, to make

  479. us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. Church.

  480. Do we know that that we can come boldly into

  481. His presence? Amen? Amen. So don't ever let condemnations stop you,

  482. because it's one of the greatest enemy to answer prayer.

  483. Because we feel condemned, we won't even pray right now.

  484. We feel like, oh, we can't pray. We don't even

  485. deserve the pain. I don't know what to pay. Never,

  486. don't fear praying because we feel so condemnity. Correct, so

  487. it will even stop us at the very first step

  488. right now. Again, I may not be speaking to all

  489. of us. Maybe no, I never feel condemned. I know

  490. you just love me. Okay, very good for you. Okay hah.

  491. Maybe not all of us, but some of us today

  492. definitely myself all right. Yeah. And it depends also maybe

  493. on your makeup, your upbringing, or you not let make up,

  494. they make up your you know you Like some of us,

  495. we desire so much to do it right, make it

  496. right with God. Why not? We want to serve God,

  497. We love God. And sometimes, like you know, you do wrong.

  498. Then I don't know how you deal with mistakes and

  499. wrong Some people say, it's okay, just shove it under

  500. the cupboard. It didn't happen. It didn't happen. It didn't happen.

  501. Some people can one I think it's a gift or so,

  502. But to me, I cannot. I cannot, I cannot. You'll

  503. be right in my face. So the honest it depends also,

  504. I say, the makeup, your makeup, the honesty. I say,

  505. oh God, I did this wrong the first thing. So

  506. sometimes forgive me if I notice what is wrong, because

  507. that's just my natural self. Like I notice a chair

  508. is saying it. Okay, okay, so it's okay. It's not

  509. because of your fault or I don't love you. No, no, no, no no.

  510. All right. Yeah. So but God says, hallelujah, we just

  511. we can come boldly into His presence, Amen, and do

  512. not let condemnations stop us. Now why because it sounds

  513. very humble, Church, it sounds very humble. But do you

  514. know the basis of self condemnation is self righteousness. Okay,

  515. So we've got to come to a place where we

  516. lay aside every attempt to justify ourselves because we justify

  517. ourselves and we don't match up and say we self

  518. condemn la all right, okay, so we've got to put

  519. it aside and say that I receive by faith and

  520. only by faith, right, not the righteousness from Jesus Amen,

  521. that Jesus Christ has imputed on me by faith. So

  522. having said that, as much as I will not worry

  523. about not worry, sorry, yeah, I will not be too

  524. caught up with the things that I do very well

  525. on my merits, I will also not worry about myself

  526. because it's covered by the blood of Jesus. Amen. As

  527. much as I will not parade or be so puffed

  528. up by my good deeds, I will also not be

  529. ashamed by my bad days because it's covered by the

  530. blood of Jesus. As much as I will come boldly

  531. because it is a throne of grace, I will not

  532. analyze my own heart so much until I keep saying

  533. that I'm not good enough for God, because God has

  534. made me write Amen, Amen, I will trust and I

  535. will choose to trust that God, by the blood of Jesus,

  536. he has cleansed me from all sin, and I can

  537. come boldly right to the turne of gaye. Amen. Amen.

  538. And that's the way that God wants us to approach

  539. him in prayer Church. So as we approach prayer, as

  540. we are fasting and praying during this time, let us

  541. draw near with a sincere heart, fully trusting Him. Put

  542. aside our guilty consciences. And if you have any sin,

  543. let's come to God in repentance and allow Him to

  544. forgive us and to cleanse us. Amen. Because a guilty

  545. can will always keep us away from praying. Amen. Amen.

  546. Are we good all right? Now? The last part when

  547. we pray, we also need to approach God with right relationships.

  548. Now do you know in the Lord's Prayer? I'm sure

  549. we all know and we can recite right Mau Chapter

  550. six ver was nine to thirteen, and I pray with

  551. my kids every day Mandy chatter six was nine to thirteen. Amen.

  552. Now do you know inside the Lord's Prayer is a

  553. it has it says, what forgive my dads as I

  554. forgive others? And do you know after my teacherter three,

  555. verse are six, verse nine to thirteen, verse fourteen, and

  556. verse fifteen, Jesus went on to Tamba Dambaro and add

  557. honor to say that if you don't forgive, I'll not

  558. forgive you. He added on someone like as though, if

  559. you don't get me on, let me say very clearly

  560. to you that all right, okay. So this is one

  561. of the things that Jesus had taught us. And I'm

  562. sure we all have heard this before and we all

  563. know that we for that when we pray, we ask

  564. her to forgive us. Well, so we need to forgive others. Amen. Amen. So,

  565. and it just means that in the same proportion that

  566. we forgive others, God will forgive us, Meaning if we

  567. forgive others completely, God will also forgive us completely. If

  568. we forgive others partially, God will also forgive us partially. Okay, hallelujah. Amen.

  569. I don't want God to forgive me partially. I don't

  570. want Okay, I'm sure none of us want to God

  571. to forgive us partially, right, Yeah. But then having said that,

  572. we will need to make that choice to also forgive entirely. Amen.

  573. And one of the reason why sometimes our prayers are

  574. not answered is due to the failure to fully forgive

  575. our fellow brothers and sisters. And I think all of

  576. us can say that all of us have been through

  577. it ourselves as well. Amen. So the question for us

  578. today is are we willing to forgive now? Maybe you

  579. say that, oh, but then you don't understand, joy or

  580. what's joey? I do you don't understand? Or I don't

  581. know if I can do this. It's really hard. You

  582. know what God is gonna say to you or me,

  583. then it's very hard for me to forgive you too. Ouch. Ouch.

  584. If you're like, oh my gosh, God, God can say that, man,

  585. mm hmmm, I don't know what I can forgive though,

  586. then God tell you I don't know what I can

  587. forgive you. So ouch is ouch? Okay? Now I did

  588. this illustration or you're so so okay? And my girls

  589. are not here, I use their names, Okay, we tell

  590. them okay, Okay, they don't know, they don't know, they

  591. don't know. Okay, So I will talk about Marca pan caps,

  592. dirty socks and sticker chants. Okay, okay, we have that slide.

  593. Now an older sister, I call her Adelia, tell us

  594. some mom, mom my sister, and we call her Dora

  595. has forgotten to close the cap of my Marca pen

  596. again for the sake stuff, can you please remove six

  597. of her sticker charts from her six stickers from a

  598. sticker chart. By the way, if you don't know a

  599. sticker chart, it's like a reward chart for kids. They

  600. don't have any morey, no more, last time, last time, God,

  601. then they get reward every time and they do a

  602. good thing, or then they ticking out the sticker if

  603. they did the wrong thing. Okay, So she is demanding

  604. that I the mother, removed six from her sticker chart

  605. because she forgot to close the cab. She deserves it,

  606. Mom said, girl, do you not remember that you have

  607. forgotten to put your dirty socks into the basket for

  608. the sixtieth time yesterday, and I still pick them up

  609. for you. I reminded you. But no consequences. Can't you

  610. give your sister another chance? If not, I would then

  611. need to remove sixty stickers from your sticker chart. If

  612. you want to be given a chance to keep your

  613. sixty stickers, then you forgive her six stickers. Just joking,

  614. all right. So it's just an illustration to see how

  615. patty we can be. And in the Bible, God also

  616. gave us those other parables. Right, we are so patty

  617. and say, but then quanchin, quanchin. But then God will say,

  618. but joy you and I forgive all your see, and

  619. just because he forgot to buy you something, then you

  620. cannot forgive him. Okay. I mean it's as petty as

  621. that now, because we say at this level we joke

  622. about it. But I understand we all go through life

  623. and we get hurt, right, and it's not funny at

  624. the time, not funny, right, not funny okay, But this

  625. is God's law, no matter how hurt you think. But

  626. it's but it's so unfair and so and you know

  627. of so many unjust things that's happening now, right, Okay, imagine,

  628. but God still say forgive though, Okay, So there's no alternative,

  629. not like ways right, alternative route right, don't have Okay,

  630. God say you the measure that you forgive others will

  631. be the measured that you are forgiven. And this is

  632. in the Lord's prayer. Now, if you look at the

  633. Lord's prayer, what's the last partition in verse thirteen? Leaders

  634. not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

  635. Do you know that the forgiveness part was before this?

  636. So until we forgive, we've got no right to pray. God,

  637. you deliver us from the evil one. And I really

  638. believe the sequence is not by coincidence. There is a purpose. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, ah,

  639. not do you mean? Amen? Amen? Jesus alilujah Amen. Okay.

  640. Let's look at Mark right now, Mark eleven, twenty five,

  641. twenty six. Jesus is speaking to his disciples. What did

  642. Jesus say whenever now we're talking about prayer today. We're

  643. talking about prayer, right, Okay, when you whenever you stand praying,

  644. if you have anything against anyone, forgive him so that

  645. your father in Heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

  646. If I were Jesus, I stopped there. I got it,

  647. got it, Jesus. But Jesus didn't stop there. Okay. I'm

  648. sorry to say that. Okay, But if you do not forgive,

  649. neither were your father in Heaven forgive, your trustpasses. Not

  650. a lot Jesus talk like that one, but the forgiveness

  651. part is very very clear. Okay. So Jesus is speaking

  652. to who when you stand praying. I don't think the

  653. unbelievers will be praying, and you ask your heavenly Father.

  654. So he's talking about you and I. All right, as

  655. believers here today when we pray to our heavenly Father,

  656. when we we cannot approach him in prayer with unforgiveness

  657. in our hearts against anyone. Amen. And before we pray,

  658. we need to forgive now first, Peter, Okay, this one.

  659. Peter is speaking to husbands. Okay, I'm not husband. I

  660. wish a husband easier for me to say, but not

  661. I say one, okay, Peter, Peter, say one? Okay, first

  662. Peter Tree seven, verse seven. It says, in the same way,

  663. you husbands must give honor to your wives treat your

  664. wife with understanding as you live together. She may be

  665. weaker than you are, is it yeah, like yalla yalla?

  666. Physically okay, you want to be weaker, confident that the

  667. men can be stronger, mom, and not okay joking joking.

  668. She may be weaker than you are, but she is

  669. your equal partner in God's gifts of new life. Treat

  670. her as you should, so your prayers will not be

  671. hinder Amen. And husbands here say amen, Amen, So Peter

  672. here is speaking about now. But but remember my point

  673. just now is about approaching God with what right relationships?

  674. All right, your relationship this level affects our prayer being answered. Amen.

  675. So God Peter is thinking about that. So talking about

  676. relationship between husband and whye. So it's a message to

  677. husbands of us specifically, so and a wrong relationship with

  678. your husband, I can hinder the answer to our prayer.

  679. But I believe it's also talking on both sides, right,

  680. both sides for sure, husband's side, wives side. And I

  681. think it talks about the home as well. So what

  682. we have to do in the home if we want

  683. God to answer our prayer as a family. So parents here,

  684. you want God to answer our prayer. Want God to

  685. save our children. We're praying for our children, salvage or

  686. our provision or anything. We've got to get right with

  687. our partner. Amen. Our relationships have to be right, and

  688. then God will bless and God will hear our prayer. Imen. Yeah,

  689. we finished cheat points. Okay, I'm joined to a close

  690. right now, all right, and I'll invite the wordship team up.

  691. And it's okay to laugh and smile in church, It's okay. Yeah,

  692. as Holy Spirit move in our house, so we have

  693. the joy of the Lord. Amen. Amen. But of course

  694. we also seriously want God to move us or amen.

  695. And there are times that we look to God serious,

  696. you know, and you know, seek the Lord. But that's

  697. joining his presence. Amen. Amen. So we're going to worship

  698. the God Lord together and again as I draw to

  699. a conclusion, I want to bring us back again now

  700. as we see some basic conditions. So firstly we approach

  701. God with praise and thanksgiving. Immen. There are basic principles

  702. and basic conditions for us to come before God to

  703. access into God's presence and so that we can come

  704. to God and we can pray and God will hear

  705. our prayer Imen. So we come to him, we praise

  706. and thanksgiving, and we come without condemnation. We deal with

  707. our guilty conscience right, and we deal with the sin

  708. in our lives, and we also come to God with

  709. right relationships, making things right even at this level. And

  710. so as we talk about some of these condition I

  711. want to remind us again that we read in Psalm

  712. sixty six just now, and I want to read the

  713. verse again again. The Psalmist wrote, and I want us

  714. to remember again that God the very first at the introduction,

  715. God wants God hears our prayer, and he wants to

  716. answer our prayer. Amen. So, reading again from verse sixty, says,

  717. come and listen, all you who fear God, and I

  718. will tell you what He did for me. For I

  719. cried out to Him for help, praising him as I spoke.

  720. If I had not confessed sin in my heart, the

  721. Lord would not have listened. But God did listen. He

  722. paid attention to my prayer. Amen. Praise God who did

  723. not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me. Imen.

  724. So I believe today, as we stand right now, we

  725. will praise God. We will praise God with a fourth

  726. song lift up his name, and I want us to

  727. draw into his presence. It's another chance for us again

  728. if we have not or again welways want to come

  729. into his cards with praise, into his gaze, with thanksgiving

  730. in our hearts, coming to his presence again and worship him.

  731. Imen and I believe every Sunday I told the ADM

  732. Church that we come to church, we cannot go away

  733. without responding. The word of God has been preached for

  734. Now is then your responsibility? Bus and just said yesterday

  735. right are the teens now? I share with you all

  736. Now it's your responsibility. So the word of God has

  737. been preached for and I pray that we will all

  738. take it. We will respond, We'll allow Holy Spirit. The

  739. war has Amen. Let's worship God. Thank you Lord.

  740. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  741. information on our church, please visit as church Org. We

  742. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

  743. this week is going to be a good week. I

  744. hit for you, God, bless
