share this Sunday?

So I said, I said, I don't know.

Lord. Then he said, share something that is close to

your heart. This is close to my heart. The closest

to my heart is honor. Honor for what, Honor for God,

Honor for his house, Honor for the leaders that look

after you and me, Honor what is honor? Today we're

gonna learn everything about honor for those who honor me,

I will honor first Samuel, Chapter two, verse thirty everything. Okay,

you know, okay, Honor is a very very small word

that carries much consequences. Okay, much consequences. Thank you, Alvera.

She's a wonderful child. This one All my favorite people

serving today, Priscilla, Elvira, Ellie and the team. Wow, all

my favorite people. That's why I can quantin say all

your favorite people are serving this Sunday.

God is so good.

So why on her? Why did I pick honor? Like

I said, it's closest to my heart. And growing up

I became a Christian. What when I was nineteen. Maybe

that was like, I'm sixty four. Okay, I'm sixty four

years old. I'm not afraid to tell you how old

I am. But I'm not giving up running for the Lord.

The Bible says those that weighed upon the Lord, they

shall saw like wings of eagle in you know, they

shall run and not be weirdy, they shall walk and

not faint. So I'm not going to retire anytime soon.

As long as God gives me breath, I will speak

his name covered. Yeah, I will jump over all those challenges,

but I will speak his name, and I will stand

for men. I encourage you, Okay, serve the Lord. Okay,

serve the Lord faithfully. And growing up in this church,

I had a very very strict pastor. Elder Terans and me,

we had a very very strict pastor. Everything was honor.

He would come into church, he will sick quietly. It's

a very quiet pastor. And if he sends he's a prophet. Actually,

if he sends that we didn't give and we were

all young, like you, young people are smiling, laughing looking at

the phone. Put your phones away, it's not important. Now,

put it away. Listen to the word Okay, don't let

phones distract you. You only take it out if it's

an emergency. My husband gave me this phone for my birthday.

I think, and this phone rings because I do I

have a business. It rings during service. I get so irritated,

I said, I want to throw this phone away. This watch,

you know. So yeah, so this this pastor. He will

come and he will sit quietly and he will discern

whether we are worshiping the lot properly, be fantastic worship.

And then he'll come up and when it's time for

him to preach, he will say, we're gonna start service

all over again. Do you know from the start, we

will start worshiping, we will start testimony, we will do everything. So,

as a young person, we came to church ready to

worship God. And when we walked into church, it wasn't

your grandfather's house. It is my father's house. So if

I see something on the floor, if I see a

piece of paper on the floor, I'll pick it up

and put it in my pocket. I won't say, let

the kaka do it, let someone else sweep it. This

is my father's house. You have to be proud of

your father's house. You don't walk in and walk out

any time you want. You serve the Lord. You love

the Lord. When you love the Lord, you look after

my heart, very very close. I grew up honoring the

Lord in everything that I do. Sometimes my family will

tell me, hey, you know, you know, Jesus never could.

I'm just diverting you a bit. Jesus could never do

any miracles in the town where he lived because they

all said, hey, that's the carpenter's son.

Then he lived.

He used to play behind our backyard. You know this guy,

what can he do?

So he could never because they never believed. It's so

important that you believe and don't take those things for granted.

Why did I come to that? I can't remember?

Never mind. So anyway, next night we wonder, we want

to learn what is honor? Okay, if you don't know

what is honor, we're gonna learn a little bit about

honor respect. We all know the word respect. Honor is respect.

Honor is reverence. When I was whenever I see the

word reverence, I always feel like reverence is like come

a little bit for God. No, we don't say I

reverence you right, reverence. We always say God. You know

we have rev We revere God, and I also love. Okay,

never mind, okay, never mind. Reverence is deep respect. It's

love expressed through all you know when you see God

in all you know? When when when you respect God

awe and you worship God. You're excited. You're not half dad.

Start our Sunday service on Saturday. We don't take any

late appointments on a Saturday night as something our pastor daughters.

Saturday is already preparation for Sunday. We sleep early, we

watch a comedy or two, but we sleep early by ten.

Other days and maybe later, but we start on a

Saturday preparing our hearts. We take our bibles. We make

sure that we don't forget anything. You know, we have

our Bible bags, we take our code, our clothes. I'm

already thinking, you know, I have two little dogs in

the house.

Make sure they are fat.

Everything so nothing so I don't come to churchill late.

That is honor, guys, that is honor.

Okay.

The next honor is a character that produces action. Have

you heard Malaysians always talk like this, They say that

person now one kind of a character, yes or not?

We always say one kind of a character.

But today we're not going to talk about bad characters.

We're gonna talk about good characters. And the whole week

the Holy Spirit. We're talking to me about character, character, character, character.

I'm thinking, Holy Spirit, I have a whole thing to share.

But you're talking about character, good characters. And we want

to take it from the Word. We don't want to

go anywhere else. The Word has so much to say,

so much good stuff to say. And one of the

good characters is fruit of the Holy Spirit. Fruit of

the Holy Spirit, love, love one another, joy. No matter

how you pulled down, and the enemy will throw things

at you, you keep on praising the Lord. You never

give up worshiping God. You don't come on a Sunday

and say, I'm going through a crazy week. You know,

I have just received this news and it's breaking me down. Now.

The joy of the Lord is from within.

Pastor came here and shared a few weeks ago how

the joy of the Lord is just not you know,

it's from within your belly. You know, that's where the

joy of the Lord come. Peace, no matter what you

go through, peace, goodness, kindness, self control. Can I talk

to you about self control? I want to talk about

BGR boy and girl relationship. Wow on a Sunday morning

for I see you. Yes, boy and girl relationship. So

many young people here and all of you are like, oh,

I want to fall in love. Oh it's so good

to fall in love, you know, have a boyfriend, have

a girlfriend.

So good.

Yes, I've been in love before. I've been in love before,

and I'm still in love, Thank you John. Still in

love and the boy. I prayed to the Lord and said, God,

be careful what you tell the Lord. I told the Lord, God,

you choose the boy for me, my husband? Can you

can you pick him for me?

And then God.

Finally shows me Elder Terrans and I said no, and

I cried for three years trying to change God's heart.

Three years. You know, guys, but I can hear God.

When God talks, I know his voice. So when he

told me Elder Terrance, I knew that's the guy for me.

But for three years, God has a sense of humor.

He didn't give me any feelings for Elder Terrans. For

three years, I cried before the Lord and say, God,

I have no feelings. He's my best friend. I'm not

going to marry him. How God say he can marry

anybody in church. Just marry anybody in church. It's okay.

But you asked for me to pick for you a guy,

and Terrence is the one. So after three years, you know,

in our church, we can't just go falling in love

with anybody today. I fall in love with you tomorrow. No,

I tried you. We went out, it didn't work out. Okay,

I'll try B or B doesn't work. We went out also,

it doesn't work. We'll go to see you. Know.

That is no honor to God, no integrity.

So when someone wants to disciple you and tell you, hey,

let me walk with you, a leader wants to walk

with you and say come, let me teach you We've

been there before. We are telling you, hey, if you

go this way, you're going to fall into a hole.

Don't walk this way. That's what the leaders are here for.

You think the leaders have nothing else to do. We

have a lot of things to do, so much to do.

But yet we walk with you and we tell you, hey,

don't walk this way. I have done it before and

I fell into that hole. But no, our young people

know better. Mm hmmmm, I know better. I'm going to

walk that way and fall into that hole and hurt myself.

Who? Yes? So let someone walk with you. You don't

know everything, Okay. So when when God told me about

Elder Terans, I was like, what's the timer?

get someone to walk with you. You do not know everything,

no honor to God. God has a better plan for you,

But do you know that God is with you? Twenty

So when I am talking to somebody, and if my

mind is somewhere else, if my mind, if I'm hating

that person, God knows, if in my heart I'm not forgiving.

God knows if I'm not walking right. God knows.

God knows everything about you. You cannot lie to him

and He's with you. Twenty four to seven. So yeah,

so I have spoken a little bit. So young people,

please again, please see somebody to help you if you

are in a relationship, because the enemy is going to

use you and abuse you because you don't know and

you don't have all the answers. Okay, So honor is

a posture of the heart. What do I mean by that?

How do you position your heart towards God? Surrendered or resistant,

trusting or fearful, humble or proud? Okay, the posture you

take towards God is so important. So honor the Lord.

That may be Okay, mutual. Honor is mutual? What this

is the only one? God says, Ah, it's mutual. Okay.

You don't respect me.

I don't respect you even when you're not faithful, God says,

I remain faithful. We love that scripture, right, We love

that scripture because I know I'm not gonna be faithful.

I'm gonna let you down, I'm gonna do whatever. But

God is you better be faithful a God? Because when

I end up in problem, you have to help me.

But honor is something else. Why don't we go to

the next light. Let's see. I I've broken it down

in simple simple English, what one Samuel two thirty is.

If you respect me and live in a way that

as unimportant, you will lose my favor and respect.

How can I honor God? And it says, love the

Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul,

To love God, to love someone that we cannot see

is difficult.

And maybe that's why. You know, if you see the

other religions.

They have all idols, they can touch, they can clean,

they can pour milk on top, they can you know,

I don't know what they do. They put flowers. Maybe

we all want something that we can see and touch.

But God is spirit. You know that we all live

in a body flesh. We have a soul or characters. Hey,

I never talked much about character. I want to talk

much about character whenever might so. Okay, And we have

a spirit. God breathed his spirit into us. And this

spirit again, my pastor used to tell us the other pasta,

my very strict pasta, used to tell us, if only

you can see a spirit man, He always tells us,

if only you can see a spirit man is so thin,

while your flesh, your body are is so fat.

You've eaten, you've dressed up, you look.

Great, but your spirit man is starving inside. Why what

does your spirit man live on the word of God.

Your spirit man lives on the word of God. He

needs the fellowship.

Do we do our quiet time.

Or is it only on a Sunday morning when we

come in, dash in late and hear a word or

two and then dash out, and that's it. I have

done my job. My job is done for the day.

I'm going to see you in heaven. Pastor Palin used

to say, it's not important that you know God. It's

not important that you and I know God. Is important

that God knows you, because one day we're going to

go to His kingdom, his house, he his place, and

that's when we have to answer to the Lord. And

he better tell that he knows you. You can go

there and cry and say Lord Lord. But if he

says I don't know you, we are gone. We cannot

come back and relive our life again. So live your

life right, honor the Lord. Okay, So okay, yeah, how

can you.

Love God?

You can't see? The Holy Spirit will teach you. He

will teach you how to love God. When your spirit

man is in touch with your Holy Spirit, with the

word of God. You know when you're among Christians, believers,

you know, be around believers. That's why we say, don't

be unequally yoked, because how can you get anything from

a person who is not in Christ. How can you grow?

It's gonna take you away from the Lord. Be equally yoked.

Fall in love with someone who knows the Lord. Don't

tell me oh, I will bring him to the Lord,

because you're going against God's word, not Mabel's word, not

my word. But the Bible says that Jesus said that

we are not telling you things that we you know,

we just come up and imagine and tell you stories. No,

we are teaching you the word of God, and we

will continue to teach you the word of God, no

matter how tough it is to swallow, no matter how

tough it is to understand. We will continue teaching the

on a Sunday and worship the Lord and then on

a Monday you go back and then you're swearing and

you're lying. And no, there's no such thing as a

pastel color lie. There's no such thing as a small lie.

Lie is a lie.

Sin is a sin, and God will call it out

like that. God will not say, oh, this sin and

never mind. I'll just close my eyes. It's okay.

It's a small sin.

Murder and a lie, it's the same in God's eyes.

They are sin. So don't sin, because you do not

honor God when you sin. So don't sin church. I'm sorry,

don't stone me. I'm just sharing the word. I'm very compassionate.

I mean I am. I am very passionate.

About what I share.

And maybe that's why God wants me here.

starts on time, make suring sure the leaders are doing

everything they need to do. I'm happy doing that. But

God says, jump, jump jump. There's more things for you

to do, and that's what God will do. God will

call you to do more things. Okay, So when you

bring your tithes and offer tree, don't miss it. It's

something that you give to the Lord. Be generous to

the Lord, Be generous to God's people, to one another,

be generous. Don't think, oh, this is all mine, my family, me,

my two children, my husband, my wife. It's just us. No,

there is a family here. Look Out for those who

don't have food. Some students come and study here from

different places, different countries.

You know, sometimes they don't have enough.

Lookout see who needs it, and bless because these are

the things that you're opening doors where blessings will come

to you.

Don't you realize that your body is the temple of

the Holy Spirit. Okay, don't you realize that your body

always watching you.

And out of the seven churches, five does not honor God.

And I want to quickly just read five that doesn't

honor God, no excitement for the things of God. They

had forsaken their first love. Don't grow hole for second

the first love. That means they came to the Lord

all excited, loving God and everything, and after some time

the world just chokes them. Let the world chok you.

That's why you need to keep close fellowship with the Lord.

Come to church, learn God's work, do your quiet time,

mix with Christians.

Grow.

It could be disciple, why are you so scared to

be discipled? Are you? Why didn't he come from the word.

Didn't he come from Jesus' mouth? Go therefore and make disciples.

So what it's the church doing. We are discipling you.

We are helping you. We are speaking into your life.

We are not controlling you, not pullying you, you know,

making your life difficult.

No, we are not doing that. So be disciples.

We are in the world, but not of the world.

I'm here to preach the word and preach the truth

and to help you and me. I'm just not preaching

They were look warm neither hot or cold. Oh dear,

I hate lukewarm water. You know it must be either

hot or cold. I just don't like lukewarm. Oh my,

this honor through pride and self sufficiency. Oh my goodness,

that is so said. Let's not fall into these categories.

Because it has been prophesied in the Book of Revelation

that the church will be like that. That means you

and I will become like that. We will become so selfish,

we will lose our furst love, we will dilute God's word.

Oh my, this is so bad.

Right, Let's not fall into that category. Okay.

I love you people so much.

I truly love you, and I preach with all my heart,

my soul, my mind to share the truth to you.

I do not put you down again. Don't stone me. Okay.
