  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. We want to hear what Jesus say. We don't care

  4. what Sandra has to say. We tell you what Jesus

  5. has to say. Amen. So I'm gonna be reading today.

  6. The title, well, the title is something like this. If

  7. you have the slight, Thanks see, and happy birthday to

  8. you God bless you, We love you. Amen, young man.

  9. It was a baby, but now, young man, that's that's

  10. the privilege I get to walk with different people here. Amen.

  11. All right? Who or what possess you? Okay, simple English?

  12. Who's got your heart? Okay, all right, I just wanted

  13. to use the word possession, possess Who possess you? Who

  14. has your heart? All right? Who's got your heart? What's

  15. what's you know, what's really the main leader of your heart?

  16. So I'm taking the reading from Matthew chapter nineteen, verse

  17. sixteen to twenty two. Are you good to go with me?

  18. Let's turn to our bibles. Matthew chapter nineteen, verse sixteen

  19. to twenty two. Okay, all right, you got your Bibles,

  20. you got your verses. And also I think maybe XDV

  21. might help us. I'm not sure, but it doesn't matter.

  22. You have bibles, e bibles, share bibles, all right. Okay,

  23. so this is the story that you are familiar with.

  24. I think Pastor Kenneth has preached it so many times.

  25. And so here we go verse sixteen. Now behold one

  26. came and said to him, okay, all the way to

  27. the back, and all the way to the friends family Sunday. Right,

  28. So hello to every child, every one of our children,

  29. ex kids. Thank you ex kids, teachers as well, thank

  30. you for taking care of our children. We celebrate you,

  31. and we yeah, Matthew, we are really grateful for your

  32. ministry to our children. Amen. Now behold one came and

  33. said to him, good teacher, right, good teacher, What good

  34. thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

  35. All right? This is a young, rich, young ruler, someone

  36. who's walking amidst He probably was, well, he wasn't a pharisee,

  37. likely a senthedrony. We have to study that, someone of

  38. the law. Right. And so Jesus said to him, hey,

  39. why do you call me good? Because no one is

  40. good but one that is God. But if you want

  41. to enter into life, keep the commandments, all right? You

  42. know the ten commandments. So Jesus just reminded him, will

  43. keep the commandments. And then he said to Jesus, which one, sir? Okay?

  44. He one day Dania, oh action, which one right? And

  45. so Jesus leads him to this. He says, you shall

  46. not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal,

  47. you shall not bear false witness. Honor your father and

  48. your mother, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

  49. The young man said to Jesus, well, ahem, all these

  50. things I have kept from my youth. Any youth in

  51. the house this morning, the whole room, Yes, anybody under

  52. one hundred is a young person. All right, Okay, you'renna

  53. call Ben uncle Ben. He's just Ben because he's a

  54. young person. Okay. So he said, all these things I

  55. have kept from my youth. So what do I see

  56. you'll lack? That's very thoughtful, he said, So what do

  57. I still like? I've I've kept them all. And then

  58. Jesus said to him, if you want to be perfect,

  59. go sell what you have and give to the poor,

  60. and you will have treasure in heaven, and come follow me.

  61. But when the young man heard what Jesus said, he

  62. went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. He had

  63. great everybody said, great, right, he had great possessions. Now

  64. I want to read to you the other version, which

  65. is from the Book of Mark. So in the Book

  66. of Mark, chapter ten, verse seventeen to twenty two. I

  67. just want to draw on just a few verses here,

  68. especially this one. Now. So Jesus tells him keep the commandments.

  69. And then he says, teacher, I've done all these things

  70. now verse twenty one. In Mark, chapter ten, verse twenty one,

  71. he says, then Jesus looking at him, looked at him,

  72. loved him. Come on, everyone say, loved him, loved him

  73. all right, and said to him, one thing you lack,

  74. Because he asked, what do I lack? How can I

  75. have eternal life? Sins? One thing? And what's that? One thing?

  76. Go your way, Sell whatever you have, give it to

  77. the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then

  78. come take up the cross, follow me. And but you

  79. know so. Verse twenty two says, but he was sad

  80. at this word, and he went away. He went away

  81. sorrowful because he had great possessions. Amen to the reading

  82. of God's word Amen, so let's go through this slide

  83. by slide. Thank you, Ian. The rich young rule in

  84. Matthew came, I'm not sorry, not Ian, my dear friend

  85. Julie all right, and her friend who are Alvira as

  86. my friend too? Okay, all right, ma homie, all right, okay,

  87. my ex homie okay. The side says A rich young

  88. ruler came running in Mark, chapter ten, verse seventeen. In

  89. Mark chapter ten, verse seventeen, this version, Mark writes, as

  90. the young man came running, how many of you are

  91. running after Jesus? Oh? R word? Do you know? Do

  92. you know? The young rich young ruler didn't probably didn't

  93. realize who he was speaking to, that this was the

  94. son of God, this was God himself. But he didn't,

  95. he didn't realize it. But he came running because he

  96. was hungry. How many people are hungry this morning? Not

  97. for cookies, but for Jesus? Amen? Are you hungry? And

  98. this man came running, young man? How many young men

  99. and young women in the room in the house there, Yes,

  100. declare that over yourself you will remain young forever? Amen, Yes, Kelly,

  101. right right, young forever? And again I told you one

  102. hundred times this is this is me, this is your heritage.

  103. Bassa Sandra pass to you young forever. You know. I'm

  104. grandma age. But you see I'm nowhere like KC. But yeah, hello, ohay,

  105. I still got hair. Okay, all right, I still got hair. Okay,

  106. I don't he nachs. I think I give you a

  107. long headaches. Okay, all right. So this young man came running.

  108. I think it's very important to remind ourselves that somebody

  109. came running because he saw something in Jesus. But he

  110. didn't recognize that this was the king of kings. Amen.

  111. If we if we knew, just if we just knew

  112. who we were speaking to, Wow, this is the great entrepreneur.

  113. This is you know, I don't know what's his name? Whatever?

  114. His name is Microsoft guy? What's his name? And not

  115. so good? No? No, okay, if Bill Gates or whatever.

  116. Who are the big people, big time people now who

  117. are making really doing really well in their business. If

  118. you knew, you would you would want to go and

  119. talk to them. Tell me how, teach me how. And

  120. so this young ruler came in his Levi jeans and said, hey,

  121. tell me Jesus, how can I have eternal life? Maybe

  122. Jesus said, take one road to China. I no he didn't.

  123. All right, no cha sorry, no rothy China. Okay. So

  124. Jesus was impressed that this young ruler came running. He wasn't,

  125. you know, dragging his feet. He came running, running, Running

  126. was the song running? We are running? Okay, okay. Now

  127. what is the question that this young man asks Jesus?

  128. He says not in verse nineteen, in verse sixteen of

  129. Matthew nineteen, he says, what good thing shall I do?

  130. That I may have eternal life? He actually says, so

  131. what good thing? I mean? The Holy Spirit this morning?

  132. Just help us all to one, that good thing that

  133. only Jesus can give to us wherever you're seated. I

  134. mean the Holy Spirit put in your heart today, that

  135. good thing that only Jesus can give to us. He says,

  136. what good thing shall I do that I may have

  137. eternal life? And if you look at the next light,

  138. Jesus tells him to obey the sixth, the seventh, the eighth,

  139. the ninth, and the fifth commandment out of you know,

  140. because he was already okay, so the follow of God.

  141. But these were the commandments. He said, don't murder, don't steal,

  142. don't bear fall sweetness, you know, don't you know? Honor

  143. your father and your mother. And he said, and all

  144. that Jesus told him was actually about how you treat

  145. other people. Four moments is to honor God, to obey God,

  146. siks about loving your neighbor. And this young man said,

  147. I've done it. I've got it, I've nailed it. But Jesus,

  148. what do I still lack? So there was a hunger Amen.

  149. And when Jesus told him that, he still said, after,

  150. but I've done them all, I've kept them all. How

  151. will I have eternal life? And Jesus and then he

  152. says to Jesus in verse twenty, I'm just bringing these

  153. verses out, and I wonder if we can identify what

  154. do I still lack? Amen? What do I still lack?

  155. And Jesus loved him. Jesus looked at him and loved him.

  156. I want you to know, Jesus looks at you and

  157. loves you no matter where we are, matter how far

  158. we are, know how near we are. Jesus looks at

  159. us every day and he loves us. He wants us. Hey,

  160. nobody wants you. You and nobody want to employ you.

  161. Jesus wants to employ you. No, if you think nobody

  162. loves you, he loves you. He loves you. He loves

  163. you with an eternal love because He gave his life

  164. for you. It's powerful if you will only take hold

  165. of the power of the love of Christ. Amen. Amen.

  166. We should be celebrating every Sunday church right from the back,

  167. not talking at the back to the front. I'm the

  168. only one who can do this. Seriously. Yeah, so I

  169. will push it. Yeah, yeah, I just I will have

  170. to push it right from the back to the front. Friends,

  171. every Sunday when we come, including myself, I really I

  172. remind myself why do I come to worship? Not because

  173. there's nothing better to do on a Sunday. It's not

  174. a routine. It's an excitement to celebrate the love of

  175. God and the purpose He has caught for me. But

  176. more than that, I want us to understand, what can

  177. you give to God? He's given a salvation? What are

  178. we giving? We give our best praise, We give our

  179. hearts to Him, in our lack, in our match, in

  180. our trouble, in our happy days. We give to the

  181. Lord the joy of being his children. Amen. Amen. Are

  182. you alive eh, coma crystal belle ha, hallelujah. Do you

  183. give your best to the Lord. That's why you serve

  184. and she serves so faithfully. Why because we love Jesus

  185. so much she has given to us. We just love him.

  186. Back dressing up well, coming up early, you know, getting

  187. ready on a Sunday Sunday Sunday morning and full ready,

  188. and I know the one hundred things to do, like

  189. feed the baby, how many if you got babies? To

  190. feed your puppy, yeah, yo, your pet parrot? Yeah, all that.

  191. You know. I'm gonna wash my laundry because tomorrow I leave. Yeah.

  192. But you know, we get up early. We get ready

  193. because I want to give to the Lord. I don't

  194. just take from the Lord. Amen. We're not here to

  195. take from the Lord. He will give you freely, and

  196. He already gives you everything everything that we need. Do

  197. I get an amen? Judge? Do I get amen? Right

  198. from the back? Woo? Amen? Now I have to do

  199. this so that you exercise your faith. Don't sit there, Church,

  200. don't sit there. Respond respond because when you respond the

  201. Word of God becomes alive in your spirit. Thank God,

  202. I only come once in how many months you go life? Bassa,

  203. Sandra are not here every Sunday. Well, that's how we

  204. grow the church. We grow because we love Jesus. Amen.

  205. We grow because we have so much God has given us.

  206. I've got nothing to be unthankful for. I'm just thankful

  207. that i can just be alive. I'm thankful for church.

  208. I'm thankful for you have been my family, and you've

  209. been there praying for me. I'm thankful. I don't know

  210. what you're thankful this morning. I'm hungry for Jesus. I'm

  211. hungry to do all that he wants me to do,

  212. not just to play Christian. I want to live Christian.

  213. I live as a son and daughter, as a daughter

  214. of Christ. Amen. Amen. So Jesus said, hey, these are

  215. the commandments. Well, I'd done it, and he says, what

  216. do I still like? And Jesus loved him and then

  217. said to him, boy, go sell everything, feed the poor,

  218. come follow me, take up your cross, come follow me.

  219. And that man was ready, I think he was. You

  220. could have done it, but something possessed him. Come on,

  221. the verse says, but he had great possessions, and so

  222. to us, don't look at him, only all of us,

  223. What holds our hearts, what possesses us? What he had

  224. great possession. It's not so much he had it, but

  225. the possession had him. He the possession had him that

  226. he couldn't walk out of that. Amen. Now I want

  227. to say to us, so all the people here thinking,

  228. are you telling me I can't be rich? Was she?

  229. He's just the rich and wealthy people. No, he gives

  230. you power to make wealth so that you can bless

  231. the Kingdom of God, be blessed yourself, bless your family,

  232. blessed the Kingdom of God. No, that's not the issue.

  233. That's not the issue. What possesses you? And so there

  234. are things that can hinder us. And it's not just

  235. about money. My next light says, it could be a person,

  236. It could be a place, It could be a possession. Amen,

  237. it's not just because he was wealthy. Anything can possess us. Anything,

  238. anything that you put as priority ahead of God can

  239. possess you, beloved of the Lord, the children of God.

  240. And I'm serving this morning that I'm here together with you,

  241. I ask myself, what is my priority? What possesses me? Now?

  242. Could it be a person? A person? What is that person?

  243. Is it is it. I don't know who that person?

  244. Is it your husband, your wife, your child, a boyfriend.

  245. You're thinking of a girlfriend, a man or woman in

  246. your life that you really want? Is it the I

  247. mean something that you want a person? All right? And

  248. and it could be a place. Maybe you want that house.

  249. Maybe you want to be in another country and you're

  250. crying out, I want to be in that country. There's

  251. a will, there's a way. Is it God's will? I

  252. don't know, all right? But what can hinder you a person,

  253. a place, or even a possession? All right? And so

  254. how so? So, Sandra, what are you saying to me?

  255. What are you telling me? Pasta? Well, it's really about

  256. our obedience. It's about our salvation. Really, what what is

  257. this this whole passage about. It's really about how you

  258. look at your salvation? Do you even? Do you? And

  259. I remember why we have been saved? And this ties

  260. back to our theme this year. Disciple first, who is

  261. a disciple? He who follows Christ. When you are a

  262. disciple of Jesus and you said yes to Jesus, he

  263. becomes your master. And everything you do you do because

  264. you have committed it to him. You have said, Lord,

  265. my life is in your hands. I am not my own. Listen,

  266. I'm not my own. I've been bought by a price.

  267. What's that price? Friends? How did he pay the price

  268. for us? Was it by silver and gold? No, it

  269. was by the precious blood of Jesus. I want to

  270. tell you, our moms have spilled some blood for us

  271. when they gave birth to us. All the mothers was saying, man,

  272. m all right, but no, oh, body spilled blood for us.

  273. Hung on the cross as Jesus did. It was not

  274. an easy role to play. He was separated from God

  275. the Father because he took all of our sin. And

  276. so is the case about wealth? Come on, people, is

  277. the case about wealth? No, no, it's not. It's not

  278. just about the wealth. It's about where our hearts. And

  279. it could be anything, anything can be what that will

  280. take up possession of our hearts? Possess possess who possesses us?

  281. Is it the Lord? Is it something? Is it a person?

  282. Is it a place? Is it a possession? Something? We

  283. all have to ask ourselves, something to reflect as we

  284. come to the end of the year. Now, why is

  285. this message? So Jesus spoke to this young man because

  286. he came running and you know what, having worked with

  287. so many of you in the last twenty five years,

  288. is the church. But we've served more than longer than that.

  289. I realize a lot of us like to know the minimum.

  290. What must I do to have you done a life?

  291. And once I've done it, they're done. Now I can

  292. go and play. I think that's what we are all about,

  293. isn't it right. Once we know we've done it, there's

  294. the minimum or maximum done, and then we go out

  295. and play. That's exactly what the children of Israel did

  296. when Moses took forever up in Mount Sinai for forty

  297. days and forty nights, and then they said, what, I

  298. don't know, where is this Gila flo and do right

  299. Mana Debrighi Sudan, but Polo hari Manadon Okay. So they're

  300. waiting there and they're thinking he's never coming back. He's

  301. up in that cloud. I don't know what's going on. Hey, hey, hey, Aeron,

  302. here make us gods. And then Aaron says, okay, show

  303. me the money. And so they gave give me, give

  304. me your goal, gave me, gave me, give me your

  305. gold after midnight and give the man o, give some

  306. old song. All right, all right, so they take the

  307. goal and then and then he actually molds the cough

  308. and then it's an idol, and so they say, this

  309. is your God, Israel. And so they worship. And once

  310. they had worship, meaning they wanted to worship that it's

  311. always a desired worship, but it's your minimum. Tell me

  312. what I have to do minimum. And then after that,

  313. what happened. They got up and they played. Mind you,

  314. they did not play five stones. They did not play,

  315. said said said Nacilla. Ma, No friends, They had some orgies.

  316. They had some wild parties. If you're too young to

  317. know this, close your ears to them. But they just

  318. wild the facts of life young men and young woman. Sorry,

  319. I have to say the truth, because save your soul.

  320. Be careful, because that's all they wanted. They wanted to

  321. do minimum and say I've done my duty. I've worshiped

  322. lip service and that's it. Now I can play. But

  323. this is not what God wants from us. He didn't

  324. save us, so that we just give him lip service.

  325. What do we still like? Jesus invited this young man

  326. into a relationship. Hey girls, sister, did you just want

  327. to have a play with the brother. Did you just

  328. want to have companionship? That's a lie when you come

  329. to sixty years old my age and I'm my husband's dad.

  330. Maybe I want some companionship, but I can play with Ali. Okay,

  331. all right right, I'll go fishing with the uncle Ben

  332. and Tim. All right, Hey, you ain't looking for some companionship, friends,

  333. You want something more. You want a relationship. God was

  334. calling us, calling all of us, all men that he

  335. has made, come into a relationship. Go sell everything and

  336. come because you will have treasure in heaven. Come follow me,

  337. take up your cross. And many of us. Yes, I

  338. know we've said yes to Jesus. We're here. But are

  339. we just doing minimum so that we can play? Because

  340. I have to ask myself this question. I do my

  341. quiet time, okay, ten minutes done, then ten minutes really

  342. nothing loud. But sometimes we are rushing. Oh down my

  343. thirty minutes quiet time is done. Friends, I'm not talking

  344. down at you or I'm speaking to my own heart.

  345. Am I giving lip service? Have I just sang some

  346. songs to make him happy? I tell God of God,

  347. I'm sorry if I just sang some songs to make

  348. you happy. No, I want to sing because I love you.

  349. I'm grateful. I'm thankful that you save me, you provide

  350. for me, you give me your family like this. You

  351. know when I'm sick, you heal me. God heals me.

  352. You know the healings that I've had in my body

  353. when I'm out. You know how God has unstained me

  354. when my dad was suffering with cancer. You guys know

  355. that I've shared this. God is more than just my healer.

  356. He's more than just my redeemer. He's my Lord, he's

  357. the lover of my soul. He's my master. And that

  358. was what Jesus was giving to this young man and saying,

  359. come and follow me. Discipleship is about handing your whole

  360. life to him and saying, Lord, what do you want

  361. me to do? It's about obedience. The Christian faith is

  362. about obedience. It's really going into a deeper relationship with Christ.

  363. That's why I said, ladies and gentlemen, when you come

  364. into a relationship, any kind of relationship, whether it's a

  365. boy girl relationship, man woman relationship, whether it's friends friends,

  366. we don't just go surface. And you know, when it's surface,

  367. that's it. But we try to go deeper. We cry

  368. with you, We laugh with you, we walk with you.

  369. We do your funerals, not yours. I've done none of

  370. your funerals. There your parents and your grandparent's funerals. We've

  371. done it. We marry you, we dedicate your babies, We

  372. walk with you. You might not remember that are five

  373. years down the line, ten years down the line. We

  374. find husband and wives for you. You found them. Don't

  375. forget you found them in ex don't curse my church.

  376. I love my church. You love your church. You found

  377. it in Jesus. You found it because he brought you

  378. to this house. God is calling us into a relationship. Amen.

  379. He wants you to flourish. He wants you to know

  380. that following him is not the end of your rope.

  381. It's the beginning of your life. Amen. And Jesus is

  382. calling us to come and follow him. Amen, follow him

  383. and be his disciples. So this is discipleship that he's

  384. looking for. Who is that disciple? In the Greek, the

  385. word disciple is mattetis. Mettetis means the learner, the pupil,

  386. the one who learns. Amen, who is the one who learns?

  387. The one? What does he do? What does a disciple

  388. do he follows. He sticks to the way that his

  389. master is leading him. So you and I need to adhere,

  390. need to stick close with Jesus and do what he's

  391. telling us to do what he's doing. We do. Then

  392. you say, but Jesus not here, or yeah, yeah, but

  393. that's the four Gospels. Yeah yeah, And then he sent

  394. us Paul, you know all the letters. Those are things

  395. we learn. So so we are following Christ. And when

  396. you are a follow of Christ, when you say yes

  397. to him and you follow him, you say I'm a disciple.

  398. Then you say, my life is not my own. I

  399. belong to you. Amen, I belong to you. And He

  400. paid the price for us. So we don't choose those choices.

  401. We let God choose for us. Every day as you walk,

  402. you just say to the Lord. If you are in

  403. your even if you're a student. Every day as you

  404. wake up, you say, Lord, thank you for your beautiful

  405. plans for me today. You know what who will I meet?

  406. What will I do? This is studying. I have to study.

  407. I know I'm a student. I'm gone back to studying.

  408. Every day I'm looking at my books. I'm on holiday now,

  409. but alveraday, I look at my bloodyard, blood yard. Every day.

  410. You know how low you do assignment to assignment, like,

  411. I can't wait for you to get over, and all

  412. I'm learning, I'm learning. Remember, the process is more important

  413. than the product. Come on, people, the process is more

  414. important than the product because you can get all the

  415. a's when you learn nothing. That's so sad. So we

  416. go through the process, go to the hot knogs, get

  417. the highs, get the lows. We just say, hey, the

  418. highs and the lows and the highs, and I don't know.

  419. You all say you know someone said something. Christians don't lie.

  420. It's true. You don't lie. You just sing it. You

  421. just sing it. You're all like one. You're all I

  422. ever needed. Oh but Jesus, I really wanted my great

  423. over to Australia. Oh Jesus, I just need another car.

  424. You're all I ever need. You're more than enough for me.

  425. I want to ask you. Is Jesus more than enough

  426. for you? My brother, sister, Grandpa, Grandma Sandra. Is Jesus

  427. more than enough for me? Come on? Is Jesus more

  428. than enough for me? We don't lie, We just sing

  429. it in worship. Now we scart to sing right.

  430. Now?

  431. He scart to see. Oops, don't sing that song. Choose

  432. another song, Lorri. Oh that's easy to see. But now

  433. when you start Dady Gate, You're all I want in

  434. Christ alone. But I need my Mercedes, a place, my trust.

  435. I need that job in christ alone. Give me that man.

  436. I need a hero. I thought Jesus was your hero.

  437. Give me, give me, give me a man after midnight.

  438. To all the single people in the house, I'm not

  439. being cruel. I'm being I am being I'm being honest

  440. with you. I once for single two. No man can

  441. meet your need. I'm telling you, Yes, a man may

  442. give you the sex. Yeah, but that's not eternity. I

  443. used to be a teacher. My students said to me,

  444. we need it? You need what? Why so, Bob, you

  445. took a purlu one. You cool? I thought you purlue

  446. water and maccan. Yeah that too, my students, you know

  447. you're all I need. I have to ask myself that

  448. do I need that next lake Crusee pot? One part

  449. not enough? No to buy another lake Crusee pot is

  450. sitting on my head. Ever I cooked the last curry

  451. for my husband. No, but the pot looks nice and

  452. it's there. Jesus is gonna sell your part, CenTra, No,

  453. go sell your part. Give it to Janets, you cook,

  454. give it to Jenet. No, I walk away sorrowfully because

  455. the pot has me. You put that into context. You

  456. put that into context. Always saying is who is priority?

  457. If you make your child your priority. I'm not saying

  458. don't take care of a child. But if you treat

  459. your child like a god, then Jesus will be your servant.

  460. But he is also No, he's not. He's a servant leader.

  461. He came to serve what's our priority? What can hinder

  462. us a person, a place, or a possession. And you

  463. may say I'm struggling with this. I'm struggling with that.

  464. The best thing to overcome any struggle is to give

  465. it up to Jesus and say, yes, Lord, here I am.

  466. What do you want me to do? Where do you

  467. want me to go? He looks at you and loves

  468. you despite even if you didn't do anything, he still

  469. loves you. That's an assurance. But as my response for

  470. God's saving me, I'm wondering, how can I please God?

  471. Because I look at every relationship, any relationship, we always

  472. want to please that person, whether we're dating, whether we're married.

  473. I try to please my husband, make sure i'm home early.

  474. I make sure i'm there. I don't know, help be

  475. just be there. Sometimes I'm just there. I'm like, I'm here.

  476. What are you playing with your headphone? But you're getting reports, right,

  477. He's so honest with his ig right, Yeah, because he's

  478. reporting his igen and everybody knows where you are. Oh,

  479. we know you're upstairs already. No, we try to be

  480. there because we love that person. We want to be

  481. there for that person. Oh you want your favorite thing,

  482. I do that for you, or you know, whoever your

  483. child wants that, you try to buy that. Then you

  484. try to give them the best education. You give that.

  485. That's how I'm just saying that we always want to

  486. give the best. So God did not call us just

  487. into just a registration. I'm saved. He's called us into

  488. come follow me into that relationship. If you found your

  489. fullness in him, then you move on with him with

  490. full confidence that he will never leave you, not forsake you. Amen.

  491. So he calls us to come and to follow him

  492. to be his disciples. Hallelujah. Do you know, friends, what

  493. you do? What you do shows what you really believe right,

  494. what you do will show us what you really believe in.

  495. So you can say all you want, but it doesn't

  496. show up until you do it. So saying is one thing,

  497. but doing it will tell us whether you believe in

  498. it or not. Right, it's true. Right if someone said

  499. this is the best school, Victory Academy, and if I

  500. had a child, my child, I should be sending my

  501. child to Victory Academy, not to Sunway International School, because

  502. I have to believe in what I say. I'm saying, Hey, guys,

  503. come send your kids to me to ask all and

  504. then I take my kid and put them in Sunway

  505. International School. What does that mean? It means something else Altogether,

  506. I don't believe in it. Same here. If you say

  507. you are his child, you follow him. Then what you

  508. have said you act on it. Then you do what

  509. God is telling you to do. You don't choose to

  510. be here or be there. You say, this is my money,

  511. where do you want me to invest it in? I said, invest,

  512. not spend. There has to be returns. R Oh, I

  513. come on, I'm not Bordo. You know. Hey, you spend,

  514. you invest, you get returns on investment. Amen, And God

  515. is for you not against you. Amen. So I want

  516. to say that we are just really least stuarts, faithful

  517. servants of the Lord for all that God has given us.

  518. And and that's why I said, it's not he wasn't

  519. attacking your wealth or how many. No, it's being faithful

  520. with what God has given to you, faithful servants, and

  521. and and now it is those things that you put

  522. what is important for you. You're faithful, then be faithful.

  523. Don't be so faithful and then become gums. Okay, you're

  524. so faithful with your money. I'm so faithful keeping it.

  525. But you don't know how to bless people. You don't

  526. know how to give every Even our church, even if

  527. we have a lot, we have got blessed to your giving.

  528. And if we put everything in a fixed deposit of

  529. you should be. That's where we give out to missions.

  530. That's why we feed the poor, that's why we plant churches.

  531. We're not keeping to have savings because my savings is Jesus. Hey,

  532. your savings has Jesus nothing wrong with you having money.

  533. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about how you

  534. hear and do you say you do, amen? Make all

  535. the money God made you give you power to make money,

  536. to get well, do that, give you wisdom and brilliance

  537. to create things. To it. All we're saying is who

  538. is the master? Amen? And he's just calling us into

  539. that beautiful relationship with him. Amen. So it is really

  540. about obedience, Amen, It is about salvation. That young man asks,

  541. what good thing can I do to inherit eternal life?

  542. Jesus is just answering that question. And for us, we

  543. need to know that we have eternal life and that

  544. it is for eternity. We are living in a very

  545. very fast changing world. Yeah, everything is changing very quickly,

  546. very quickly, very quickly. It's my time up. Please tell

  547. me somebody, No, not yet, okay, all right, run away,

  548. okay your time more time is moving, Okay. We are

  549. living in a very very fast changing world. Today. You

  550. study what you studied. I tell you, our graduates will

  551. come out and they will have jobs. You know. I'm

  552. not scaring you. I'm not scaring you are. We just

  553. need to be agile. We need to have critical thinking.

  554. We need to know how to adjust. So we prepare

  555. you not with ace, We're preparing you to holistic life.

  556. And that's why that's why your salvation matters because in

  557. Christ you learn to be a whole person. God's grace

  558. is with you. Amen. Things are changing, but the one

  559. thing that never changes, brand and sisters Aloha is Christ

  560. never changes. He is a solid rock. He's a firm foundation.

  561. You can put your trust in the Lord. He never changes.

  562. He will see he's our father, If he's our master,

  563. then I will rest in him. Amen. God. Really, he

  564. is a father who sees and he meets you whatever

  565. that need is. We've been through. Honestly, sometimes you may

  566. not know all of our story. Not everyone and so

  567. many new people in our church today. We may not

  568. know pascanna story and my story. You don't know how

  569. we've been through. We are not just sitting on you know,

  570. just having you know, just asking you to serve it.

  571. We don't serve. We don't do that. We've had our

  572. hard days. I told you we've done the heart miles.

  573. We continue to do the heart miles. We still have

  574. eggs and pains. We claim God's healing. We see people

  575. through their pain. We pray with them, believing for miracles. Yeah,

  576. that are God heals, that are God provides. I don't

  577. have all the answers, but I know the Lord will

  578. supply us the answers that we need. And I just

  579. want to be faithful to the Lord. And when God

  580. looks at acts here, hey, I pray that he can

  581. say what efficients verse one, how Paul greeted the church,

  582. and Paul greeted the church in Ephesus. He says, to

  583. the saints who are in Ephesus and faithful in Christ, Jesus,

  584. can you imagine something you know? And the Lord comes

  585. and greets He says, wow, greeting to the faithful, the faithful. Hello,

  586. how many faithful in the house. Yeah, we want to

  587. be faithful to the Lord. Faithful. He greets us like that.

  588. He loves us and he wants the best for us.

  589. But the way of Jesus is not the same as

  590. the way of this world. Everything is opposite. It's just

  591. I'm sorry. It's opposite. Opposite in the sense if he

  592. says to be to be wise is to be foolish

  593. in a sense, I'm not so clever, but God gives

  594. me wisdom. Right, you say, he nola take the white road,

  595. but Jesus is take the narrow road, right, because the

  596. white road will can do anything. Happy, Happy, And then alahmah,

  597. crash and burn, Okay, but you take the narrow road.

  598. No one died, lah, No one has ever died taking

  599. the narrow road. You know what's a narrow road like? No,

  600. I'll let me tell you. The narrow road is when

  601. you don't do that everything that you want, you take

  602. smaller steps and guide it. Come on. And so I

  603. want to say it here because this is my This

  604. is the mark that God has given to me. Please

  605. forgive me parents, but I will say it to my

  606. for Mamy and my woman, the young people here in

  607. the room. How many young people here in the room.

  608. Yeah.

  609. I say to people, if you don't do pre marital sex,

  610. you won't die. That's the narrow road. I used to

  611. preach like this thirty years ago. You didn't exist. Yet

  612. you won't die. You will die without water, you will

  613. die without food, true, signed, students, But you will not

  614. die if you don't have sex. So is Jesus more

  615. than enough for you? What you do will matter. So

  616. saying it is one thing, but acting on it. So

  617. what does James say, you show me your faith. I'll

  618. show you my faith by my works. So we live

  619. out our faith. Amen, We live out Jesus is calling

  620. us to live out with him and he will bring

  621. us through. Amen. So examine our paths that we have

  622. taken today. Examine it. I have to examine it. I really, brother,

  623. you want to look into my life. Every day, I

  624. say to Jesus if I'm rushing to do my quiet time,

  625. to hit a quota to make Jesus happy that in

  626. working it's like, okay, I give you ten minutes and

  627. give fifteen minutes. I give you an hour. But I'm

  628. not hitting a quota. I'm having a relationship with Jesus.

  629. So I want to spend time, and I know I'm rushing.

  630. There are days I'm rushing. I'd rather not do it, honestly,

  631. just give lips of hisce I want to give from

  632. my heart. I don't know if you can identify with me.

  633. I don't want to do lips of his I just

  634. want to give to the Lord the time that I have.

  635. I give to him the words I'm going to say.

  636. I got to say it from my heart to Jesus

  637. and then out of that outflow will come out to

  638. the ministry that we do with one another. Amen. So

  639. I want to ask you, would you consider the path

  640. that you have chosen because some things can hinder you

  641. to the greater breakthrough, the greater to the greater purpose

  642. and the plans that God has. Is there a person,

  643. is it a place, and is it a possession that

  644. is hindering you from saying yes to Jesus for the

  645. next next level of faith? Up? Amen, we are believers,

  646. but even believer us, we have to guard our hearts. Amen,

  647. with a lot of things happening around us. I'm talking

  648. to someone in another plan the other day, and you know,

  649. I'm trying to encourage you church to say that the

  650. economy is going funny, right, you know it's gonna go funny.

  651. Then this person say, yeah, I'm thinking what age I

  652. should retire here and how much money I should say?

  653. I don't know. I'm not a fortune teller. I don't

  654. know when you should retire. I ain't retiring. I ain't retiring.

  655. Don't you tell me to retire. I wanna work as

  656. far as I can, as far as I can serve.

  657. I'm gonna carry out. I don't know how much money

  658. to save. I don't have. I really don't have. Whoever

  659. comes goes goes out. That's it. Yes, Amen, But our

  660. eyes is on Jesus, and maybe Jesus send you this morning.

  661. Go leave that thing on the at the feet and

  662. come follow me. Are you worried about this situation? Are

  663. you struggling with that? Are you dealing with that issue

  664. with that person? Are you still thinking about that place?

  665. Are you thinking about owning that lecro save port? Leave

  666. it down there and come follow me. I know I'll

  667. have to sell mind to general, give it to her,

  668. not sell all right, So Jesus is what is he challenging? You?

  669. Leave that situation, put that person for on hold first,

  670. put yourself in the hands of Jesus and say, Lord,

  671. I commit my life to you. Amen. Don't fear. You

  672. never fear when you're in God's hands. Amen. Friends, don't

  673. be afraid to trust Jesus. The path will be different,

  674. not the way you imagine. But God won't let us down.

  675. I've not seen him let us down. I've not seen

  676. him let us down. We have come this far. You

  677. and I we've been here. We've come this far. In

  678. your individual lives, you experience some miracle of God. In

  679. our corporate life, we've experienced our miracle of God. He

  680. has never left us, not for sakeres We've been out

  681. and down, but God still loves us. You might say, oh,

  682. I failed him. Hey, you know what, He loves us

  683. because we failed, and so that he can we can

  684. find strength in him. If we've done well, praise the lot,

  685. keep rising up with him. But if I'm down, let's

  686. not down. People down some more. Let's lift them up. Amen,

  687. Let's lift them up so that they can also write

  688. on the strength of God. Amen, hallelujah. I tell you

  689. we need to strengthen our faith. We need to hold

  690. on to Jesus because things are going to come around.

  691. You read it in the news, you see here and there.

  692. But until you have your faith anchored in Christ and

  693. keep following him, you might be tossed to and fro.

  694. We cannot be tossed to and fro. Don't allow anyone

  695. to toss to and fro your life. Amen. Come on,

  696. you cannot cannot. You can make a choice to your

  697. own personal economy. What how much time you spend scrolling lot?

  698. That is your attention? Where is your attention? You scross?

  699. Gross grows grows, growl. You gave attention to some phone,

  700. to somebody else making money on your behalf true? And art. Yes, yes,

  701. I just taught our students. There you scroost go thirty

  702. minutes one hour gone. What are you? You and I

  703. are looking at the moon, shoppy and we didn't buy anything.

  704. We just gave our eyes and our time. And with

  705. that time you could have set it aside and let

  706. us go and do something to enrich your life, to

  707. enrich another person's life. Amen, hallelujah. So friends, what good

  708. things should you do so that you can inherit eternal life?

  709. Come on, just give your heart to Jesus, give your

  710. life to him. You will have eternal life in him

  711. and the beautiful plans that He has for each and

  712. every one of us. Yes, even if I have to

  713. sell my pard, actually I have to give it away.

  714. No imagine you want it? Ah ha ha ha I

  715. like you say, okay, So what is our priority? What's

  716. taking priority? Is Jesus the master? Or are you the master?

  717. Or is that woman? The master in your life? Is

  718. that man? The master of your life? Is that country?

  719. The master of your life? Is that thing? What do

  720. we need to do to change? Come on, church, brother sisters,

  721. pass us, eld us in the house, leaders in the house,

  722. brothers and sisters, what is that one thing? Today? As

  723. you reflect, that needs to change? How you treat your wife,

  724. how you treat your husband, how you love your children,

  725. how you love your wife, how you love your friend,

  726. how you love God's house? Come on, reflect on these

  727. things to say, God, what do you want me to do?

  728. How could I beat that vessel of blessing? I'm in need,

  729. but my need? Lord, if I keep looking at my need,

  730. I'll go down right. So I will look at what else?

  731. What else or who else I can bless? Let me

  732. bless that person, Let me send that money to that person,

  733. let me give it to missions. Let's feed the refugees.

  734. I don't know. It will lift you up. That's what

  735. Jesus is saying. Go let go of that thing and

  736. come follow me. Carry across with me. Follow me. Now

  737. you will have eternal life. Don't let the devil rob

  738. you of your eternal life. Come on. It's he who is.

  739. Jesus restores for us, and Jesus sets us on a road,

  740. a highway of freedom and of truth and of life,

  741. of healing, and he gives us the confidence to live

  742. every day. Stand with me, Church, hallelujah. Did you take

  743. back something have you caught something this morning? Amen? Come on,

  744. what you do shows what you believe. What you do

  745. shows what you believe. Amen. So I do what I

  746. do because I believe right, you know that, right when

  747. I'm on full energy, is because I believe in Jesus

  748. and what He's given to me. I'm excited to live.

  749. You might be asking, passa, do you do this at

  750. home with your husband? Yeah? I try that. Hey, may

  751. let's serve the lot, all right. I'm excited for what

  752. we have been given. So why I want to encourage

  753. my dear brother sisters. Some of you took a break,

  754. took a break from serving, from the leadership, from different things.

  755. Can I ask you, Holy Spirit, speak to your heart?

  756. Is it time to stand up again? Rise up again?

  757. If you haven't been going to home, start going to

  758. Holmes again. Hey, if you haven't been doing anything and

  759. you feel because so many things that weighed you down,

  760. maybe take a step of face and say, how can

  761. I how can I do something for my community? How

  762. ask your leaders what you can do? You know I'm down?

  763. Why not cheer someone else up? Have lunch with somebody today.

  764. Don't sit on your own, Just get outside of yourself

  765. This is what Jesus saying, Go sell, Go let go

  766. of your bitterness. Are you let it go? That's what

  767. he's saying. He's asking go sell right now, ask you

  768. go sell your bitterness. Do don't give it to me.

  769. Don't give me your bitterness. Go sell your anger. I
