You're listening to a message to go from X Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
All right, So we learned about the loss, the leaders,
-
the living. We need to all work together to work
-
on all three. So what are we doing to live
-
God's diet for us in X Church? So what are
-
we doing? Have we taken this as okay, let's just
-
go through it. We got five weeks, we got six
-
weeks or another two weeks to go. Look, this is
-
not this is not Evata one, two or three, you know,
-
or maybe four, five or six. You don't come for
-
the movie. You come to live the experience. You come
-
to live it out. Well, today I want to take
-
you a little bit further. So we learned about all
-
that we have learned. Now we're going to learn about
-
the power of the tithe You remember that the target
-
was ten thousand, right a thousands? And how did we
-
reach that? How did we go for that? Well, if
-
we are the tide of ten percent, what should be
-
the target by the time we finish our ten years
-
or twenty years, it's to grow to at least ten thousand.
-
But you know what, it's not really the numbers we're
-
talking about. It's the spirit. The spirit of the tide,
-
you know, always brings something to God. When we bring
-
something to the Lord, it pleases him. And do you
-
know as Pastor said that rightfully saw when he thought
-
that tithing started in the garden of Edinbur. Before I
-
get to that, you may say, oh, so, where's the
-
word in all this? We'll cover some word. But remember
-
that one of the foundation or the foundational words that
-
we are talking about is from Haberkak, which is the
-
world is to fill the earth with the knowledge of
-
the glory of the Lord as the waters cover there. See, guys,
-
and you and me, we have a target. We have
-
a purpose. If you think that you're not good enough,
-
let me tell you you are. You know, Seth came
-
up just now and the Lord said, check on the
-
meaning of Seth. Check on what his name means. Seth.
-
Do you know what your name means? It means appointed.
-
Did you know that God has a great purpose for
-
you if you will allow him to let you live it?
-
Because you have been appointed your any time somebody says
-
your name Seth, they're talking about someone who has been appointed.
-
So you and I we have a purpose. Tithing started
-
in the Garden of Eden when the Lord said you
-
can eat of everything except the tree of the knowledge
-
of the good and evil. You can eat on every
-
one of that stuff, but not this. So actually, what
-
is God saying? There's a lot of stuff you can do,
-
but there are some things that are mine. There are
-
a lot of things that you can have, but there
-
are some things that are personal to me that you
-
should not touch. And here we're talking about the tide.
-
You know, if you and the reason for this, and
-
I think past I think I've never heard it explained
-
even any better than this. When you touch the tithe
-
you know what you're doing. You're making yourself God. You're
-
making yourself God. You and I want to make ourselves God.
-
If we make ourselves God, we are fake God's coming
-
in front of a true God. Where do you think
-
we will stand? Guys? You and I got to realize
-
that God has a great purpose for us, and the
-
purpose for us is not to sit on our thumbs
-
just doing what we want to do. Is that the
-
way to live life? Hey, guys, you know, just doing
-
what you do every day, that's not life, that's mundane repetition.
-
But going out there to see somebody get saved, to
-
be able to multiply yourself through seeing other people get saved,
-
that's a wonderful place to be because you're giving them hope.
-
I read an article about this doctor recently, a couple
-
of days ago who when she was asked this question,
-
can a man have babies? And she couldn't answer. She
-
did not want to answer because the world believes today
-
that men can have babies. I pray that you will
-
not be deluded, because that is a delusion. And so
-
I decided to start facebooking again, which I haven't done
-
in a long time, and I wrote this stage man,
-
and I said, I would have more respect for someone
-
who says I am a woman, but I want to
-
live like a man, or I'm a man, but I
-
want to live like a woman, rather than a person
-
who tries to get you to confess what they believe
-
you know in in in certain countries, if you if
-
if a woman says they are man and you call her,
-
if you call him her, which is what you see,
-
they'll put you in jail. Did you know that? So
-
what I'm trying to say is this world is getting nasty.
-
It's spinning on its head, out of control. The only
-
ones that are going to give it some semblance of
-
order are the ones that God has put on earth
-
to follow his plan. What is his plan? When God
-
says don't touch this, don't do that, do we still
-
touch it? Yeah? You know, I love Adam. He was
-
quite a jerk. Actually. You know why because because God
-
told him don't eat the fruit. You know what he did?
-
He let his wife test the theory. And I believe
-
he ate the fruit because when he saw his wife
-
ate the apple as she didn't die immediately, So he
-
must have talked to himself, OKAYRD, so I can have
-
what's not mine. Then he ate the fruit, and then
-
God decides to make an appearance. You see, we cannot
-
for God. God knows her heart. God knows her heart.
-
Don't touch what we're not supposed to touch. And how is
-
this in relation to Sherry Christ? With people? We'll find out.
-
The tide is not about money, not just about money, okay,
-
but it's about acknowledging God as God. Remember I said,
-
it's not really about the letter of the Lord. It's
-
about the spirits, about the heart, It's about the hearts,
-
about acknowledging God is God that we would set aside money,
-
time and everything else for him. Now we know about
-
the setting aside of money. We talk about that tie.
-
What's your tie? Ten percent? We know about that. I
-
remember the first time I ever gave a type. I
-
was a tennis player. And I know you don't look
-
at it now. Just imagine imagine myself, young, slim, fit,
-
she said, imagine me handsome. I still am handsome again,
-
I haven't. That hasn't changed anyway. So I wanted to
-
buy a new tennis record. So I was saving for
-
my tennis record. Then I heard about Tide. I just
-
got saved, and the word of the Lord was too tide.
-
So I took that money that I was saving, and
-
I tie that so, which means the getting of my
-
tennis record would be put back quite a number of months,
-
all right. But out of the blue, a day or
-
two after I did that, my father asked me, Hey,
-
I think it's time you got a new tennis record.
-
Can I buy one for you? God knows, man, God
-
knows okay, So it's not law, but the spirit of
-
putting God first, giving God what belongs to him. We
-
may say we don't have enough of time. Let's talk
-
about time. We don't have enough of time? Why should
-
God give us? If we have no time for God?
-
Why should he What makes us so special that He
-
should give us time when we can't bother to do
-
what pleases him time? You know, if we are supposed
-
to tie time, that would mean the letter of the
-
law states that we would have to give God two
-
point four hours a day. Right, how many of you
-
think that that means quiet time? Two hours to two
-
point four hours. Anything you do for God is credited
-
to that time. Okay, you take getting up early to
-
drive to church. From the time you get up and
-
prepare other time is already running. You come to church,
-
you spend a couple of hours, You go back, you
-
go your fellowship. One next thing you know, you've actually
-
clocked in four hours. Difficult. You decide, Hey, I want
-
to take a friend out because he's feeling down. I
-
want to show him the love of Christ. You may
-
not have talked Jesus Christ, but you lived it through
-
touching his life. What was that another couple of hours?
-
Then you say, Okay, I'm going to spend time reading
-
the Word, praying, getting on my knees. Today I did
-
not walk ten kilometers because of my knee, and then
-
I was looking at at John just now getting from
-
the stage, just walking down and coming up. I was
-
so jealous. I say, if I get down now, I
-
cannot come up. If I put my knee up, that's it.
-
That's it's gone. It's stuck, all right. So for the
-
first time I did not walk ten kilometers while praying.
-
But what I did was I put a nice stick
-
cushion on the ground and I got on my knees
-
and I prayed for this delivery today. Because there's a
-
song that says, I can stand tall a mine neis
-
I can see for revol a mane needs, I can
-
see it all. Okay, that's another song from another time. Okay,
-
praise the Lord. So we may say we don't have
-
enough of time, but we do. We do have time.
-
But if it were if we were to give God
-
that time to show time, the Bible says we shall
-
reap time. Gosh, you have so much of studies to do. Right.
-
Let me tell you what I I always go back
-
to this story, and I didn't realize what I was
-
doing at the time. When I was studying in Singapore,
-
I stayed in the church, very holy boy he's a
-
church hosteler. Okay. I stayed in the church, so the
-
church was next door. I stayed in the hostel. Hostel
-
was a four story building. This was in Pandain Reservoir
-
Garden in Singapore. Now I go to school. I'd go
-
to school, I do everything that a student needs to do,
-
and then I go back. When I went back, I
-
put all my stuff together, go to church at ten
-
o'clock in the night. This is after dinner, after doing
-
my homework, after studying. I'll go to church at ten
-
o'clock at night and pray for people to be delivered
-
from evil spirits. And I will pray until five in
-
the morning. Three in the morning, go have another couple
-
of hours sleep, go to school. And I tell you
-
my school was a full day. Okay. I went to
-
school at seven o'clock, finish at one after having lunch,
-
I will train the tennis team until seven o'clock in
-
the night. Go back home, reach my hostel around eight thirty,
-
have a quick dinner, wash my clothes, do my homework,
-
do all my schoolwork, and back again into church. I
-
did that daily. I didn't realize I was sewing time.
-
I was sewing time. I became the head prefect of
-
the school, the first Malaysian to become head prefect of
-
the school. My class teacher refused to talk to me
-
for two weeks until I went up to her and
-
I asked her, have I done something wrong to you?
-
He says, something wrong because you seem very angry with me,
-
And she told me this. She said, don't you realize
-
you have you have the ability to be the top
-
student in this school, and you want to mess it
-
up by being head prefect. Do you realize every head
-
prefect in your school has fairly exam You're in and
-
you're out. I looked at her straight in the face
-
and I said, don't worry, I will be the first
-
to pass. And I didn't realize I was giving God
-
all that time, and my saturdays were free. You know
-
what I do my Saturdays, I call all my friends together.
-
You don't understand your work, come and see me. I
-
will teach you. That's what I did on Saturdays. When
-
the exam came, Man, I did so well. I already
-
did well. And after that, every hit prefect in the
-
school started to pass the exam. This is all recorded, Okay,
-
this is not fake. In case you want to check
-
those facts out, you can go to the National University
-
of the National Library in Singapore and you can actually
-
check the yearbooks. They're all there. I'm there in the yearbooks.
-
What I want to tell you is I gave God time,
-
and with whatever little time I had, God made it count.
-
Now to be giving God time sharing the word of
-
God to somebody, you're going to be giving time helping
-
a friend. You're going to be giving time reaching out
-
to your neighbor and saying it's going to be okay.
-
You mean to say God doesn't take into account your challenges.
-
You mean to say He won't help you. Guys, you
-
got to stop thinking. We got to stop thinking about ourselves. Okay,
-
put me in it, all right, We have to stop
-
thinking about ourselves. But when we spend time getting involved
-
in God's plan, which is what this is all about,
-
unpacking the vision. The vision is for what go out,
-
preach the gospel, make disciples, and God will take care
-
of our business. God will take care I want to
-
share your testimony with you, so we have h Okay,
-
I'll be honest. We try to run like our other
-
colleagues in the Board of Eldership, and in the ex
-
church ministry. But these guys are running at one thousand
-
miles per hour at the mable and myself are trying
-
to keep up. We're far behind. We can see them.
-
We're trying so hard to keep up with our aching knees,
-
our broken bags, whatever it is. But we try to, huh,
-
we try, We try and do our best. We fail
-
many times. For those of you that have seen us fail,
-
forgive us, all right, forgive us, but know this that
-
we try. A couple of months ago, my daughter calls up.
-
Some of you had this testimony, I'll just share it
-
with the rest. My daughter calls us to say, Dad, Mum,
-
I have a growth in my neck. It keeps growing bigger.
-
You know, I'm going to get it checked. So to me,
-
this was goiter, all right, because it was quite prominent.
-
It was gouter. Goiter is usually a growth in your
-
tyroid gland due to due to ironin deficiency. That's the
-
main reason. So anyway, she says, I'm going to get
-
this thing checked up. So she got it checked up,
-
and then she said the doctor said we need to
-
do further investigation. So we totally don't worry. Everything's going
-
to be okay, just just go for it. Just go
-
for it. Sometime in November, she called up. She called
-
me in the office. Now when it comes to bad news,
-
she will call me first. Okay, So she called me first.
-
And I remember this day because it's the only day
-
that Pastor cannot passed in front of my office. I
-
never see him pass in front of my office, but
-
he passed in front of the office. And you know,
-
past the Kenneth has called a lot of things to do,
-
so he doesn't hang around in any one place for
-
a very long time. But he was there all the time.
-
While my daughter was giving me this phone call my
-
daughter Ashley, she says, Dad, the results have come back
-
and they say that there is a growth in the
-
other side of the thyroid that needs immediate removal. And
-
in fact the doctor has said that it can al wait.
-
It needs to be removed immediately. Now. When she told
-
me that, I heard the Lord say cancer. Then she
-
called el Mabel. She told her the same thing, and
-
the Lord spoke to her and set operation. These we
-
heard Okay, I heard cancer, she heard operation. So I
-
told my daughter, Okay, don't worry about it. Tough things happened,
-
but you know what, get a second opinion. So they
-
sent all her tests to the US and it was
-
checked up by a top end or chronologist in the US,
-
a professor in a very well known university. I saw
-
the report, in a twenty page report. She said, get
-
this out immediately, do not wait. So she called and
-
she says, okay, Dad, this is what it is. But
-
God had already spoken to us, so we didn't fall
-
to pieces. In fact, it was so natural for us
-
to tell her it's going to be okay, don't worry
-
about it. It's going to be okay. You know why
-
we could feel that, and you know why we could
-
experience it because God had already prepared the both of us.
-
You know why good God took the trouble to prepare
-
the both of us us because with our broken bones
-
and a broken back, we are trying to keep up
-
with the marathoners. You see, if you're interested about God's things,
-
God's interested about your things. So anyway, she said that
-
insurance company has advised that I come back to Malaysia
-
to do it, so that there will be people around me.
-
She said that can you find me a surgeon I
-
have to find I said, what the insurance for us
-
don't know her. Okay, last, so I found a surgeon.
-
I contacted the hospital. I tell you, the nurses there
-
can drive you crazy. And finally, since Nati was moving,
-
I said, tell the doctor I'm coming now. So I
-
went to the hospital. I won't tell you which hospital.
-
I sat there and said, I'm not moving till I
-
see the doctor. The doctor came. I met up with him,
-
such a nice guy. We got the operation set. So
-
she was supposed to come back and get the operation
-
done on December third. December third, she contacted bronchitis. Came
-
back on December third. Doctor said, sorry, I can't operate
-
on you. You're still coughing. Postpone one week. We were
-
there with her in the hospital the day she was
-
to go in. She was starved the whole day because
-
you know operation, whenever you do an operation, you got
-
to starve right, no food in after some time, no water,
-
So they're starving her, starving her, starving her until about
-
ten o'clock in nine the operation didn't happen. Then finally
-
the nurse comes in and said the operation the doctor
-
had prior to that went on too long. So postpone
-
until the night, gave a little bit of food, she
-
went to sleep. Next thing we know, there's an SMS
-
whatsapped three o'clock in the morning. Doctor is taking me
-
in now for the operation. The operation went on from
-
three to seven. My daughter now has a scar from
-
this side of the neck to this side of the
-
neck like that six seven in scar. And the doctor
-
removed the uh thyroid, the whole thyroid gland. So it's
-
a complete thyroid deck. Thyroid deck to me, all right,
-
so both and limb nodules. So when I met him
-
in the evening, I asked him, so was there anything, Yeah,
-
I was cancer. So I said it was benign. He says, no,
-
it was malignant. But don't worry. We've got everything. She's
-
totally okay. I want you to know how God helped us,
-
all right? How did God help us? If she did
-
not have the goiter on this side, they would not
-
have discovered the cancer on this side. God has our
-
things in heart because we have His things at heart.
-
And you and I don't want to serve the Lord,
-
and we find it so troubles him to do things
-
for God. Hey, you want God to take care of
-
the things you cannot see start taking care of the
-
things he can, which is you and I working for him.
-
Although I see all things are possible with the tide,
-
some ways we can tipe. What can we do? We
-
can pray? Hey, guys, do we pray for somebody else?
-
We get this? Thank you so much for praying. Because
-
the church prayed for my daughter. Pastor immediately wrote to
-
me the next morning, I've prayed for Ashley and I
-
will continue praying for her. It was also on the
-
Tuesday Hour of prayer praying. You think prayer is meaningless,
-
it's just words, Seth. You've been appointed to pray for somebody.
-
That's what your name stands for. You and I we've
-
been appointed to pray for somebody. And in that praying,
-
what is that tithing? And God can give you back
-
thirty four sixty four, one hundred and four. I think
-
when Ashley is better, we receive back a thousand foller.
-
I was so depressed after Christmas. You have no idea.
-
And the people say you always depressed after Christmas or
-
me or my decorations going down. Christmas song's not heard anymore.
-
My daughter's all going their own way. But we had
-
the best Christmas with them. Around this time. So you see.
-
So now we look forward to the next Christmas. Law
-
start counting, start counting them the next Christmas. God is
-
good all the time, diyes praying. We can serve God
-
in the house. Do you know that serving God? I
-
want to tell you something about serving God in the house.
-
So there are many people who say, after all, you
-
can go to church here, you can go to church.
-
That God is in every church. Yes, he is. God
-
is in every church. But I want you to know,
-
if you look at scripture, it says he gave talents
-
to his servants. He didn't give talents to the visitors. Now,
-
those of us that you are visiting from a church,
-
please send your greetings to your pastors when you go back,
-
because I believe you are serving in that church. And
-
you may be here on holiday. If you haven't got
-
a church, we're open to you. Come and serve. You
-
want to get talents from the Lord. You serve in
-
the house. If you don't serve in the house, you
-
preclude yourself. You remove yourself from that blessing. And you
-
know what's the worst thing. When we go to some place,
-
they say I want to go to here, and next
-
you can want to go there and the following I
-
want to go somewhere else. You know what, you're treating
-
God like a restaurant. God has become your servant. Yeah,
-
it's true. God has become your servant. You want to
-
sample the cuisine in every other place. God didn't call
-
us to be food critics. He called us to be
-
servants in the house of the Lord. I feel for
-
this because I ask the Lord these kind of questions,
-
and God, the Lord gives me these kind of answers.
-
Share the word, man, what are you gonna do? Share
-
the word? Okay, Now, not everyone can get up on
-
stage and preach. Not everyone el Rose the ping O came.
-
I feel intimidated in your presence When I see them
-
sitting down there, I'm shivering. But guys, sharing the word
-
doesn't necessarily mean you speaking about it. If you can't,
-
if you don't have the words, what can you do? Hey, friend,
-
why didn't you come to church? You know we get
-
great messages. Somebody can speak to you, maybe your your
-
or your problem will be will be resolved. Come in listen.
-
You can do that, right, Yeah, you can invite a friend.
-
You can do that. You can even do this get
-
somebody to come and see your friend, somebody who can talk.
-
So you cannot talk? So what the world has ended? No,
-
there are things you and I can do so sharing. Yeah, yeah,
-
it's great if we can talk and praise the Lord.
-
And it's great if we can share the word, all
-
that is good. Right, But if you can't, there are
-
other ways to share the gospel. How about giving a track?
-
Cannot talk? Right, here's a Bible. You'll find your answer there.
-
Turn to page da da da da da da dat. There.
-
You don't need to talk. Man the pastor that I
-
was under in in Singapore during that time where I
-
used to pray for the deliverance cases. If you ask
-
him a question, he won't answer. You ask he is
-
a brilliant when it comes to the Bible. You ask
-
him any question. Read, you ask another question. Read? Why
-
does he need to say anything? The Word is telling
-
you everything you need to know. Guys, share make disciples?
-
Now you say I can't make disciples. How many of
-
you are parents? Quite a number? Right? You made babies right,
-
and whether you agree or you don't agree, your child
-
is looking at you. How many of you say, well,
-
he works exactly like a father because where do you
-
think he learned to walk from the father? Why not?
-
Why this one talks exactly like the mother. Where did
-
they learn to talk from the mother? Learned? What is that?
-
Do you know that, whether you are aware of it
-
or not aware of it, you are discipling somebody. So
-
why keep it unofficial? Get into the program, help somebody.
-
Oh I don't want to do guys, I'm gonna share
-
with you something in a little while. It's a little
-
bit scary, but you're gonna help somebody. Doesn't mean you
-
need to be a You know what the Bible says,
-
imitate me as I imitate Christ. That's what Paul says, right,
-
Paul says, imitate me as I imitate Christ. So the
-
only thing you know is, hey, Jesus Christ save me.
-
That's the only thing. Do you know? I got more
-
people saved just saying Jesus Christ save me than I
-
have talking about the whole theology of the Bible. The
-
most people that I brought to the Lord were simply
-
because in Jesus' name you can pray and the rain
-
will stop. And I did it, and he said was true.
-
I say, come in here, came to church, came in
-
walked out Bonn again. Out of those first six people,
-
three of them are pastors. Out of my good friends
-
in Singapore that I constantly spend time sharing about the
-
prayers that I had prayed in church, one of them
-
has now built six churches. One of them was cured
-
of cancer and is now Metionary Southeast Asia. And another
-
one shares what I told her about how God will
-
protect her, and she shares that same message which I
-
shared with her forty years ago with others. Guys, share
-
make disciples. They're looking at you. You know what was
-
the reason My friend's mother asked me to come and
-
stay with them. She wanted me to be an example
-
to her son. You know what I was doing. I
-
was making a disciple. Guys, you don't realize it. You
-
have what it takes. If not, God wouldn't have told
-
you to do it. Do you know that God has
-
more faith in you than you have in yourself, because
-
He showed a lot of faith when he said going
-
into the whole world, preach the gospel. Make disciples of
-
every towne tryba nation. That tells me God has faith.
-
You know that even Jesus exercises faith. Who is he
-
exercise faith in you and I make disciples take on leadership.
-
Now we have this word here called leadership, right, and
-
everybody cringes. I don't want to be a leader. I
-
see Elder Rosa, she has to go up there and share.
-
She's a leader. God Man used me to go up
-
there and share. So I don't want to be a leader. Hey, guys,
-
let me explain to you what leadership is. Again. Another
-
word for leadership is servanthood. If I say you want
-
to be a servant the Lord, you'll say yes. But
-
being a leader is being a servant. Being a leader
-
is being a servant. Right, So what are you leading?
-
You're leading the cause in servanthood? Be a leader because
-
in fact, when Elder mable and me were asked by
-
Pastor to take on leadership, we say, no needla. We
-
don't need to be called leader. We just serve in
-
the background. We just do things in the background. Hey,
-
no need leadership. I will come and I will clean
-
the church toilets. You know what Pastor said, it's not
-
about that. When you step into the office, you get
-
the anointing of that office. So why is it that
-
we get these miracles happening to us even when we're
-
not thinking about it, because there is an anointing of
-
the office that we are in. Guys, you and I
-
want to live in that office. We want to live
-
in that power of the glory of God. That things
-
are happening to us because we're doing His things. Guys,
-
community work okay anything, ah, Your community work is left
-
to those guys who are good guys. We can all
-
do community work. Okay. You know what we did for community.
-
We gave gifts to our the people who collect our garbage.
-
We gave a call. We say, all these people, can
-
you can you let us know when they're coming? We
-
want to prepare gifts for them. And little did we
-
find didn't Little did we know that all of them
-
came from Flores Flores Is, Indonesia, and they all actually Catholics,
-
and they're so said that they couldn't be home for Christmas.
-
And when they received those gifts until today, they love
-
us my house. They always make sure the garbage is clean.
-
But that's not the reason why we give. We wanted
-
to bless them. Community. You see, community is about blessing
-
people without expecting anything in return. Missions we can do that,
-
Elder Roles will testify. I went on that mission trip,
-
first time I ever went, and I said, okay, the
-
first time. Yeah, it's the first time I went on missions. Okay,
-
I go on mission trip. I thought I will pick
-
the most difficult one. So I went with her and
-
my leader was Michelle. I call her fearless leader. So
-
we went to Bakassi. The thing about Becassi is there's
-
no chairs anywhere you go, so the problem was sitting
-
on the floor. Once you sit on the floor, can
-
I get up? And you know, you gotta love the people, Okay,
-
they bless you. The houses are very small. Nobody in
-
Indonesia and the houses that we went to has furniture.
-
You know why because where they sit is where they sleep,
-
So the beds are always pushed up against the wall.
-
So we go into the house, we said, we talk
-
with the people and then I have to sit on
-
the floor. Then after I'm struggling to get up. But
-
it's okay, it's okay, go for missions. Do you know
-
that God will do great things for you and through you?
-
You ask her. I was so afraid that I had
-
to share on a Sunday Shane Bahssa, hey oh, I
-
translated that's the first time, I wrote the whole message out.
-
Now the whole message. I wrote the whole thing out.
-
Then after that I tied myself. Okay, forteen minutes. Then
-
I asked Ai to translate to the Bassa Indonesia. And
-
then when I went up on that Sunday, God said,
-
put the paper aside. Seventeen pages. I put it big labaga,
-
I don't like to wear glasses. Seventeen pages. God said,
-
put it aside. So I started talking. Of course, when
-
I got stuck, I'll refer to my living dictionary. She
-
helped me with a word. So I shared chat chat
-
chad chat chair chat. Then after that I said the
-
rose am I okay with time, She very gracious, said yeah, yeah, okay,
-
you go five minutes left, okay, okay. So I wrapped
-
it up in five minutes. Then when the whole thing
-
was over, I just looked at him and said, so,
-
but forty five minutes, right, She said, no, it's one
-
in a half hours. God is able to give you speech.
-
You put yourself out there, he will give you what
-
you need, some missions, all right. So the Bible says
-
that when we tied, God will div he will rebuild
-
the devour the one who prevents you from seeing these
-
great things happen. God will say, get your hands off
-
their lives, so heart check. So how can I redeem
-
my time with the law? How will you redeem your
-
time with the Lord? Just doing the things you want
-
to do. But it says your give to Caesar? What
-
is Caesar's and God? What is God? So the company,
-
the family your responsibilities. That's your responsibility, give to Caesar.
-
What is How many of your students here put up
-
your hand You're either a student, not a student? Okay,
-
what is your responsibility now? Your responsibility is to be
-
the best student that you can be. That is your responsibility.
-
How many of your parents here put up your hands straight?
-
What is our responsibility to provide our children with that
-
which is necessary necessary so they can be the best
-
students that they can be. That is our responsibility. Guys,
-
your responsibility at this age is not to pair up.
-
Your responsibility is not to get sidetracked. Be friends with everybody,
-
Be a friend with that one person after you have
-
done your responsibility. Because when you get the things mixed up,
-
your life runs into trouble. Don't mix things up. Keep
-
it clear. I mean I was in Singapore. Nobody was
-
looking at me. Right, I could have run away with
-
any girl I wanted. Hey, I was a looker, right,
-
I show you pictures. You won't believe how good I look. Hey,
-
you laugher, I'm telling you the truth. I had girls
-
from others schools come up to me and say, can
-
I look into your eyes? So I asked them, why
-
would you do such a thing. No, there's a story
-
going around that the hit prefect of Batley's Secondary school
-
has got such dreamy eyes and wonderful eyelashes. Don't come
-
up to me afterwards and check it out again. It
-
was forty years ago. But you see the point I'm
-
trying to make is my responsibility was to be the
-
best student that I could be. I was friends with everybody.
-
I was a friend with not one particular person, because
-
what was my responsibility to be the best student I
-
could be? Do you know when I got involved with someone,
-
when I had fulfilled that responsibility, and then I saw
-
Elder Mabel and God said she is the one. She took.
-
She took a longer time to see. That's all right,
-
that's that's all right, because God wanted me to know
-
what it was like to be chased for many years.
-
Three years after that, I was chased and chase and
-
chase until I said yes. Because when I first asked her,
-
she said no, Okay, that's all right. Sorry. What I'm
-
trying to say is God has your things at hand.
-
She said no, But God told her you can have
-
whoever you want, but he is my pick for you.
-
Right on the one, he said, yes, you see me
-
and God, verything one give to Caesar. What is Caesar's Okay?
-
So what action am I going to take to give
-
God what belongs to him? Wow? Tied your time? Okay?
-
How are we doing for time? Okay? So fifteen more minutes?
-
Appraise the Lord. Are you having a good time? Are
-
you liar? If you're having a good time, it has
-
to be a ruptures chiller. Okay, okay, let's move on.
-
Let's move on. So intention, prayer, devotion, community connections, time, schedule, evangelism.
-
Say these this is what determines the leadership a leader.
-
These are the things that we do. So what is
-
significant about the next twenty years? We talk about twenty twenty, right,
-
So when we approach twenty twenty, God downloaded a lot
-
of significant things to us. God has brought us through
-
twenty years faithfully, Joseph and the dream. So what is
-
the next twenty years? Daniel? Daniel is what go out
-
into the marketplace? Hey, not a marketplace Christian, but a
-
Christian in the marketplace. You are the influencer. The marketplace
-
is not the influencer. Let's get this right. Twenty twenty.
-
What is twenty twenty twenty is perfect vision. So even
-
do you realize in twenty twenty something happened in militia
-
change your government. Wow, that was one of the things.
-
So Daniel is going into the marketplace. You know, he's
-
not going to the marketplace, but he was. He seld
-
four kings, He selved four kings, you know, Daniel's self
-
for kings. God showed that each king was like a government.
-
The election cycle is every five years. Hence five times
-
four cycles is twenty years. You and I got to
-
get excited about the years to come, but more so
-
you than me. You know what, next twenty years, I'll
-
be eighty four. Next twenty years, what will you be?
-
You will be leaders in your field, You will be
-
the shakers and the movers. You will have your own families,
-
you will have your own kids. You will have challenges
-
on your own that your father and mother will not
-
be bailing you out of. You will be determining your
-
own direction. I pray that you will determine your direction
-
with the help of the Holy Spirit leading the life
-
that He has shown you to live for His glory.
-
And that's the way it should be. That's the way
-
it should be. Let's break it down a little bit
-
by size. Okay, so the act leader they are we're
-
talking about twenty twenty one was significant and there were
-
key takeaways from that event. Okay, we need to make
-
sure your huddle and your huddle members are clear about
-
the part they are part of the wall? What wall? Well,
-
the wall they had crumbled and Niehi Maya took fifty
-
two days to build it up with what careful planning.
-
Everybody knew the part that they were to play. What
-
is the part you and I have to play? Get
-
up in the morning. I don't know what to do, Lord.
-
If you stay with it, I don't know what to do,
-
then that's half the prayer. The press should be. I
-
don't know what to do, Lord, Lord, what do I do?
-
And the Lord will give you direction. He'll give you
-
a direction. Last year, he said, last year, Yeah, well,
-
I started doing something new. And something new was I
-
tell people, you got somebody who's not well, you've got
-
somebody who doesn't know the Lord. Call me. I will come.
-
I will talk to them, I will share with them.
-
You know why I'm willing to do that because I'm
-
no longer afraid of what people think of me. Who cares?
-
Now you like me, you don't like me? So what
-
I live? Because the only one that matters is whether
-
God likes me or not. So I tell you about Christ.
-
You don't like me, I'm going to follow pieces. No,
-
I'll just say, hey, Lord my title. I spent two
-
hours with the guy he said, No, it's all right.
-
I was my tithe for the day. So that becomes
-
that guy's problem, not your problem, because then that guy
-
has to answer to the Lord. Hey, this Onelly took
-
time to share with you. What did you do with it? Hey,
-
you think we all going to escape? We will have
-
to account to the Lord for every bit of our time.
-
God really gives us chances. We learned that. Yes, we
-
had a session where we talked about we learned about
-
second chance. You know how much God loves you and me.
-
I want you to know something. God is not about
-
catching us doing wrong. You know when your friend does something, Ah,
-
you see, you did that wrong? That should not be
-
our attitude. You know what our attitude should be? Can
-
I help you? Is there any way I can make
-
your life better? That should be an attitude when we
-
see a friend doing a mistake, say, look, guy, friend,
-
I don't know what's going through your mind, but if
-
ever you need help, I'm here for you. It's much
-
better than say you're doing wrong. You're so wrong? What's
-
the matter with you? Do you know that Christ was
-
about catching people doing right? He went to the temple
-
and a lot of people were doing a lot of things.
-
What God is I? What God is I? A woman
-
who had nothing but gave two minds? He's about catching
-
people doing right. The people were about catching people doing wrong.
-
When they threw that lady in front of him, she
-
was an adultress. I always wonder what happened to the guy.
-
Do you realize that they threw the woman before Jesus?
-
How come they didn't throw the guy? It was a setup.
-
In case you do not know it was a setup.
-
But where Jesus is concerned he was about forgiveness. Hey,
-
I'm not going to condemn you. I want to see
-
you live and live life correctly. Guys, you've got to
-
know the heart of your savior, you know when you
-
think about that. Huh. That's why when that song came
-
on on E Swings, I just said that. Already My
-
eyes feel like they're about to tear because it tells
-
me about God and how much he loves us and
-
how much he cares for us. Make sure, make sure
-
that every one of that thousand we are the thousand
-
we are counted for. We are participating, we are playing.
-
You know, it's not about the numbers, but it's about
-
the names. Guys, You and I we count for something.
-
You think you have nothing to offer, Well, let me
-
tell you that teeth from the Cross who said, Jesus
-
remember me when you come into your kingdom. What did
-
he have to offer? He was already on the cross.
-
Was there anything he could do for Jesus? You and
-
I say no, Jesus thought otherwise. You know what he
-
could do for Christ Lord remember me. The one thing
-
he could do he did. And what did Jesus say today?
-
Did Jesus didn't say tomorrow. Jesus didn't say, you get
-
down from the cross and do what you need to
-
do first. Jesus did not even say, just now you
-
ridicule me, and now you want me to speak nicely
-
to you. You read the scripture, Okay, the scripture said
-
that both thieves ridicule Jesus. But somewhere along the line
-
one of them repented and said, Lord, remember me, And
-
Jesus said, today you will be with me in paradise. Lovely,
-
isn't it. Don't you love that about Jesus. He's out
-
to catch us doing good? So how can we break
-
it down and make it personal? In Ephesians for sixty
-
INSS from whom the whole body join and knit together
-
by every joint supplies, according to the effective working by
-
which every part does its share. Guys, if you're a musician,
-
don't expect the table arranger to play the instrument. If
-
you are a musician, come up here and lead praise
-
the Lord. For Janet I saw one keyboard is today
-
she brought the spirit of the Lord down with all
-
her wonderful apage, heels and scales. So how many of us, hey, look,
-
you know I would play the drums. But I'm not
-
here often enough, but I would with whatever beat I
-
could keep, I would do that. Guys, if you have
-
the ability, come up here and do what you can do,
-
because you're part of that body. So somewhere along the line,
-
the hands are not working, or the eyes are closed,
-
or the years have been shot, and only the legs
-
are on. Guys, I wanted This is the part that
-
scares me. This is the part that I spoke to
-
the Lord about the thing that interests Jesus is what
-
Matthew twenty eight. Now, all the other parts of scripture
-
is about us getting saved, about us living right before God.
-
Is about how we are supposed to conduct ourselves. You read,
-
the whole scripture is talking about our personal conduct and
-
worship towards God. But what is Jesus' interests? What is
-
his interests? Go preach, make disciples, Go preach, make disciples.
-
You see, that's What's on God's mind. Now if we
-
refuse to do it, you know what we're telling Jesus,
-
this is not on my mind. What's on your heart
-
lot is not what's on mine. What interests you has
-
no interest in mine. Do you know that when we
-
do not get on board with sharing the gospel or
-
helping people share the gospel, or providing responsibility and means
-
for people to share the gospel, or for doing what
-
we can to get people to hear the gospel, or
-
for discipling someone, or for being a disciple, or for
-
getting involved in these things. We are telling the Lord
-
you don't interest me. And then my mind goes to
-
scripture that says, and there were some who came to him,
-
and he says, depart from me. But Lord, we preached
-
in your name, we cast out demons. You know what
-
he says, depart from me. I never knew you. Why
-
would that be? The seven sons of Schema tried to
-
cast out demons in Jesus name. Did they succeed? No?
-
But what does that scripture say? That scripture says, we
-
cast out demons in your name, and he will say,
-
what depart from me? I never knew you. I'm not
-
meaning to scare you, That's not my purpose. But I
-
want you to know there has to be some relationship
-
between what interests God and what interests us. And if
-
what interests God is not what interests us, I'm telling
-
it to you. Now, go to the Lord and talk
-
to him about it, because while we are breathing, we
-
have time to correct it. While we have life in
-
our spirit, we can correct the situation. Because once our
-
breath has left our body, how are we going to
-
answer the Lord? You know, when we meet Jesus, he's
-
not going to ask us how many businesses we own?
-
You know, when we meet Jesus, he's not going to
-
ask us how many is we had in our exams?
-
When we meet Jesus is not going to ask us
-
what car did we drive? When we meet Jesus, I
-
believe one of the questions he's going to ask us
-
is was what that was on my heart? In your heart? Sobering,
-
isn't it? Let's be sober now rather than cry later on. Okay,
-
let's I'm gotta wrap this up. Okay, So why twenty
-
years well X approached its twentieth aniverse three year twenty twenty,
-
God revealed to pass it the first twenty years as
-
Joseph we know that dream, and now the next twenty
-
years Daniel the vision. So let's let's talk about some
-
practicalities here. What is God's diet? God's diet is too
-
first to fill the earth half dominion. That's in Genesis.
-
All right, fill the earth, and now what are we
-
supposed to do? We are supposed to make disciples. What
-
is our upload? Our upload is the type. Start with
-
what we have, Start with what we have. What's our
-
action in the process? And then the leaving the living
-
is what the leaven. It's the discipline to keep doing
-
it until it becomes a momentum. It's the plan. Get
-
with the have you heard that statement before, Get with
-
the program. That's eleven. And of course Passa talked about
-
the church songs. That was what is in the hands,
-
scoured the house? Such what was in the house. And
-
today I think we sang two songs that were done
-
in house. Okay, let's go a little bit further. So
-
now we know that roughly, what is how do we
-
put this practice? Well, we talk about past us talking
-
about level two. God's die was what one thousand times
-
one thousand? Does it actually mean one thousand times one thousand? Yes?
-
And no, yes, praise the Lord of it happens. No,
-
it's about the spirit, the desire to keep growing, the
-
desire to keep planting. Do not stop. Okay, take stock
-
of the first thousand. We are the first thousand men, Hey,
-
God's taking stock of us. We are the ones who
-
can work like Daniel to see God's principles come to pass.
-
What's the tie. Well, out of that thousand, we have
-
two hundred and fifteen, we have about two hundred and
-
fifteen leaders love we do, and the rest of the
-
seven fifty be disciples. If any one of you not
-
being disciples, approach your leaders and get in a program,
-
get in a program, because you need to be disciples
-
in order to be a discipler. Why you want to
-
show God what interests him, interests you and what interests
-
Jesus going into the world, preach the gospel, make disciples
-
of every tribe tongue and every tribe nation in tongue,
-
or something like that. The eleven make a list, guys
-
who to see make a list, Make a list, coming
-
up with a strategy. This is a strategy. Sharing the
-
plan with you, unpacking that's a strategy. Give you the
-
information that you need to know why you're doing. What
-
you're doing makes life better, all right? And then we
-
talk about level three. What would level three be? Well,
-
by twenty thirty, we want to see a thousand, a thousand,
-
not church transfers. Okay, but new believers nine thousand New
-
believers nine thousand is the ninety percent. Ten percent was us.
-
Let's work. See because if each one of us brings
-
in one percent a year by twenty thirty, we have
-
now five years to go. If you haven't brought in
-
one person since twenty twenty or five behind, which means
-
that you have to bring in two each, bringing two
-
each for the next five years, you say, wow, you
-
count like that. Well, if you plan like that before
-
the Lord, the Lord will honor. If you're willing to
-
do it, the Lord will help you. Okay, So daily
-
he wants his daily bread. Well, ninety percent new believers.
-
What's her tie? Every one of the one thousand partners
-
reach one new soul every year, nine thousand new souls.
-
What's the eleventh? Look and pray for an opportunity to
-
show God's love. Hey, show God's love. Help and need
-
somebody help, Not just anybody help, help somebody. God's love
-
displays power and point to Jesus. Every day. God will
-
do great miracles through you. Remember the person who God
-
saved because I talked to him about badminton guys, God
-
will use He will speak to you to tell you
-
how to get people safe if you'll give him an opportunity.
-
All right, So what we want to account When we
-
want to account for something, we must first break it down.
-
So here this is the practical part of break it down.
-
Make sure the numbers become names. Hey, we're not talking
-
about two people. How do you get two people? Find
-
two names that you can go out talk to. You know,
-
some of them may not accept Christ straight away. I
-
shared with a guy I wrote in his autograph book.
-
Five years later, I find that he was on his
-
yacht and he was about to die. He remembered what
-
I wrote in the autograph book. He called on the
-
name of Jesus. Jesus came to him on the water,
-
saved his life. He got back to show, gave up
-
all his riches. Today he is serving the Lord as
-
a pastor. How long did that process take? It didn't matter.
-
I shared with him in nineteen eighty two, maybe five
-
years in nineteen eighty seven. He accepts the Lord. Guys,
-
just do what you need to do. Okay. Numbers ideas.
-
They will be radical ideas. Some of them will be
-
radical ideas, some of them be normal ideas. Not every
-
radical idea. Not every idea needs to be radical. Some
-
can be normal. What's a normal eye? Call a friend,
-
go and see him. Radical idea, Have a evangelistic outreach
-
in your own house called have food, big party, celebration,
-
call you know, gospel singers from around the world. That's radical. Okay,
-
that can work too, Okay, Time and investment redeem the time.
-
He break it down. What do I want to do
-
on Monday? What do I want to do on Tuesday?
-
What do I want to do on Wednesday? But you see,
-
if you don't break it down the time, if you
-
leave everything in the air, guess what, it'll be very airy,
-
fairy nothing happens. If you ask yourself why nothing happens
-
in the last twenty years for your life and mine?
-
Maybe because we've just left everything up in the air.
-
In Luke thirteen, verse sixty nine, it says he also
-
spoke the s parable A certain man had a fig tree. Ha,
-
this is another one, the scary one. A certain man
-
had a fig tree. You must also here some scary ones. Okay.
-
Planted a video and he came seeking fruit on it
-
and found none. Then he said to the keeper of
-
the vineyard, look for three years, I've come seeking fruit
-
on this fig tree and found none. Cut it down.
-
Why does it use up the ground. But he answered
-
and said to him, sir, let it alone this year
-
also until I dig around it and fertilize it. And
-
if it bears fruit, well, but if not, then you
-
can cut it down. You don't want God to cut
-
us down. You don't And the only way God will
-
not cut us down is if we are bearing fruit.
-
And if you're not bearing fruit, it means this. You
-
need to dig around that tree and you need to
-
fertilize it with the Word of God and prayer and
-
belief and confession, the power the Holy Spirit. That's what
-
you need to do. So, guys, if you've found yourself
-
lacking in this area, your life is not over. It
-
simply means you've got some fertilizing to do. You got
-
some effort that you need to do to get your
-
life right right so that what is on God's heart
-
will be on yours as well. Okay, there may be
-
those who have not responded to these last few years,
-
yet God is still counting them in. Wow, he hasn't
-
cut them down yet. You know when you're cut down,
-
when your life is over, you have no more chance.
-
Don't wait until that time. Okay, even those who have
-
not been fruitful, if they are still attending church, give
-
them another chance. Today you're being given a chance. How
-
many of you year one hundred and twenty? The chance
-
is yours to get with the program, to get in
-
line with what once and may you always bear fruit.
-
Because if your desire is to live with what's on
-
God's heart and make it what's on your heart, I
-
guarantee you one hundred percent you will succeed. So what
-
is this vision? We have been given a chance to
-
bear fruit in church? So what is this chance? You
-
and I in the fifth session of unpacking the series
-
have learned, then we got to tie to God and
-
give to him what's his due. We've got to trust
-
him to see him work in our lives. We've got
-
to believe that he's a god of second chances, and
-
he will give you that chance to work. And what's
-
important is for us to do what he wants us
-
to do. So let's go out there and be a
-
difference in the world around us. Let's stay. We're gonna
-
sing a song, lovely song. Let's praise the Lord and
-
give him glory. We want to love Jesus with our lives.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

information on our church, please visit AKS church org. We

are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that
-
this week is going to be a good week. I
-
hate for you.

God bless
