  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. All right, So we learned about the loss, the leaders,

  4. the living. We need to all work together to work

  5. on all three. So what are we doing to live

  6. God's diet for us in X Church? So what are

  7. we doing? Have we taken this as okay, let's just

  8. go through it. We got five weeks, we got six

  9. weeks or another two weeks to go. Look, this is

  10. not this is not Evata one, two or three, you know,

  11. or maybe four, five or six. You don't come for

  12. the movie. You come to live the experience. You come

  13. to live it out. Well, today I want to take

  14. you a little bit further. So we learned about all

  15. that we have learned. Now we're going to learn about

  16. the power of the tithe You remember that the target

  17. was ten thousand, right a thousands? And how did we

  18. reach that? How did we go for that? Well, if

  19. we are the tide of ten percent, what should be

  20. the target by the time we finish our ten years

  21. or twenty years, it's to grow to at least ten thousand.

  22. But you know what, it's not really the numbers we're

  23. talking about. It's the spirit. The spirit of the tide,

  24. you know, always brings something to God. When we bring

  25. something to the Lord, it pleases him. And do you

  26. know as Pastor said that rightfully saw when he thought

  27. that tithing started in the garden of Edinbur. Before I

  28. get to that, you may say, oh, so, where's the

  29. word in all this? We'll cover some word. But remember

  30. that one of the foundation or the foundational words that

  31. we are talking about is from Haberkak, which is the

  32. world is to fill the earth with the knowledge of

  33. the glory of the Lord as the waters cover there. See, guys,

  34. and you and me, we have a target. We have

  35. a purpose. If you think that you're not good enough,

  36. let me tell you you are. You know, Seth came

  37. up just now and the Lord said, check on the

  38. meaning of Seth. Check on what his name means. Seth.

  39. Do you know what your name means? It means appointed.

  40. Did you know that God has a great purpose for

  41. you if you will allow him to let you live it?

  42. Because you have been appointed your any time somebody says

  43. your name Seth, they're talking about someone who has been appointed.

  44. So you and I we have a purpose. Tithing started

  45. in the Garden of Eden when the Lord said you

  46. can eat of everything except the tree of the knowledge

  47. of the good and evil. You can eat on every

  48. one of that stuff, but not this. So actually, what

  49. is God saying? There's a lot of stuff you can do,

  50. but there are some things that are mine. There are

  51. a lot of things that you can have, but there

  52. are some things that are personal to me that you

  53. should not touch. And here we're talking about the tide.

  54. You know, if you and the reason for this, and

  55. I think past I think I've never heard it explained

  56. even any better than this. When you touch the tithe

  57. you know what you're doing. You're making yourself God. You're

  58. making yourself God. You and I want to make ourselves God.

  59. If we make ourselves God, we are fake God's coming

  60. in front of a true God. Where do you think

  61. we will stand? Guys? You and I got to realize

  62. that God has a great purpose for us, and the

  63. purpose for us is not to sit on our thumbs

  64. just doing what we want to do. Is that the

  65. way to live life? Hey, guys, you know, just doing

  66. what you do every day, that's not life, that's mundane repetition.

  67. But going out there to see somebody get saved, to

  68. be able to multiply yourself through seeing other people get saved,

  69. that's a wonderful place to be because you're giving them hope.

  70. I read an article about this doctor recently, a couple

  71. of days ago who when she was asked this question,

  72. can a man have babies? And she couldn't answer. She

  73. did not want to answer because the world believes today

  74. that men can have babies. I pray that you will

  75. not be deluded, because that is a delusion. And so

  76. I decided to start facebooking again, which I haven't done

  77. in a long time, and I wrote this stage man,

  78. and I said, I would have more respect for someone

  79. who says I am a woman, but I want to

  80. live like a man, or I'm a man, but I

  81. want to live like a woman, rather than a person

  82. who tries to get you to confess what they believe

  83. you know in in in certain countries, if you if

  84. if a woman says they are man and you call her,

  85. if you call him her, which is what you see,

  86. they'll put you in jail. Did you know that? So

  87. what I'm trying to say is this world is getting nasty.

  88. It's spinning on its head, out of control. The only

  89. ones that are going to give it some semblance of

  90. order are the ones that God has put on earth

  91. to follow his plan. What is his plan? When God

  92. says don't touch this, don't do that, do we still

  93. touch it? Yeah? You know, I love Adam. He was

  94. quite a jerk. Actually. You know why because because God

  95. told him don't eat the fruit. You know what he did?

  96. He let his wife test the theory. And I believe

  97. he ate the fruit because when he saw his wife

  98. ate the apple as she didn't die immediately, So he

  99. must have talked to himself, OKAYRD, so I can have

  100. what's not mine. Then he ate the fruit, and then

  101. God decides to make an appearance. You see, we cannot

  102. for God. God knows her heart. God knows her heart.

  103. Don't touch what we're not supposed to touch. And how is

  104. this in relation to Sherry Christ? With people? We'll find out.

  105. The tide is not about money, not just about money, okay,

  106. but it's about acknowledging God as God. Remember I said,

  107. it's not really about the letter of the Lord. It's

  108. about the spirits, about the heart, It's about the hearts,

  109. about acknowledging God is God that we would set aside money,

  110. time and everything else for him. Now we know about

  111. the setting aside of money. We talk about that tie.

  112. What's your tie? Ten percent? We know about that. I

  113. remember the first time I ever gave a type. I

  114. was a tennis player. And I know you don't look

  115. at it now. Just imagine imagine myself, young, slim, fit,

  116. she said, imagine me handsome. I still am handsome again,

  117. I haven't. That hasn't changed anyway. So I wanted to

  118. buy a new tennis record. So I was saving for

  119. my tennis record. Then I heard about Tide. I just

  120. got saved, and the word of the Lord was too tide.

  121. So I took that money that I was saving, and

  122. I tie that so, which means the getting of my

  123. tennis record would be put back quite a number of months,

  124. all right. But out of the blue, a day or

  125. two after I did that, my father asked me, Hey,

  126. I think it's time you got a new tennis record.

  127. Can I buy one for you? God knows, man, God

  128. knows okay, So it's not law, but the spirit of

  129. putting God first, giving God what belongs to him. We

  130. may say we don't have enough of time. Let's talk

  131. about time. We don't have enough of time? Why should

  132. God give us? If we have no time for God?

  133. Why should he What makes us so special that He

  134. should give us time when we can't bother to do

  135. what pleases him time? You know, if we are supposed

  136. to tie time, that would mean the letter of the

  137. law states that we would have to give God two

  138. point four hours a day. Right, how many of you

  139. think that that means quiet time? Two hours to two

  140. point four hours. Anything you do for God is credited

  141. to that time. Okay, you take getting up early to

  142. drive to church. From the time you get up and

  143. prepare other time is already running. You come to church,

  144. you spend a couple of hours, You go back, you

  145. go your fellowship. One next thing you know, you've actually

  146. clocked in four hours. Difficult. You decide, Hey, I want

  147. to take a friend out because he's feeling down. I

  148. want to show him the love of Christ. You may

  149. not have talked Jesus Christ, but you lived it through

  150. touching his life. What was that another couple of hours?

  151. Then you say, Okay, I'm going to spend time reading

  152. the Word, praying, getting on my knees. Today I did

  153. not walk ten kilometers because of my knee, and then

  154. I was looking at at John just now getting from

  155. the stage, just walking down and coming up. I was

  156. so jealous. I say, if I get down now, I

  157. cannot come up. If I put my knee up, that's it.

  158. That's it's gone. It's stuck, all right. So for the

  159. first time I did not walk ten kilometers while praying.

  160. But what I did was I put a nice stick

  161. cushion on the ground and I got on my knees

  162. and I prayed for this delivery today. Because there's a

  163. song that says, I can stand tall a mine neis

  164. I can see for revol a mane needs, I can

  165. see it all. Okay, that's another song from another time. Okay,

  166. praise the Lord. So we may say we don't have

  167. enough of time, but we do. We do have time.

  168. But if it were if we were to give God

  169. that time to show time, the Bible says we shall

  170. reap time. Gosh, you have so much of studies to do. Right.

  171. Let me tell you what I I always go back

  172. to this story, and I didn't realize what I was

  173. doing at the time. When I was studying in Singapore,

  174. I stayed in the church, very holy boy he's a

  175. church hosteler. Okay. I stayed in the church, so the

  176. church was next door. I stayed in the hostel. Hostel

  177. was a four story building. This was in Pandain Reservoir

  178. Garden in Singapore. Now I go to school. I'd go

  179. to school, I do everything that a student needs to do,

  180. and then I go back. When I went back, I

  181. put all my stuff together, go to church at ten

  182. o'clock in the night. This is after dinner, after doing

  183. my homework, after studying. I'll go to church at ten

  184. o'clock at night and pray for people to be delivered

  185. from evil spirits. And I will pray until five in

  186. the morning. Three in the morning, go have another couple

  187. of hours sleep, go to school. And I tell you

  188. my school was a full day. Okay. I went to

  189. school at seven o'clock, finish at one after having lunch,

  190. I will train the tennis team until seven o'clock in

  191. the night. Go back home, reach my hostel around eight thirty,

  192. have a quick dinner, wash my clothes, do my homework,

  193. do all my schoolwork, and back again into church. I

  194. did that daily. I didn't realize I was sewing time.

  195. I was sewing time. I became the head prefect of

  196. the school, the first Malaysian to become head prefect of

  197. the school. My class teacher refused to talk to me

  198. for two weeks until I went up to her and

  199. I asked her, have I done something wrong to you?

  200. He says, something wrong because you seem very angry with me,

  201. And she told me this. She said, don't you realize

  202. you have you have the ability to be the top

  203. student in this school, and you want to mess it

  204. up by being head prefect. Do you realize every head

  205. prefect in your school has fairly exam You're in and

  206. you're out. I looked at her straight in the face

  207. and I said, don't worry, I will be the first

  208. to pass. And I didn't realize I was giving God

  209. all that time, and my saturdays were free. You know

  210. what I do my Saturdays, I call all my friends together.

  211. You don't understand your work, come and see me. I

  212. will teach you. That's what I did on Saturdays. When

  213. the exam came, Man, I did so well. I already

  214. did well. And after that, every hit prefect in the

  215. school started to pass the exam. This is all recorded, Okay,

  216. this is not fake. In case you want to check

  217. those facts out, you can go to the National University

  218. of the National Library in Singapore and you can actually

  219. check the yearbooks. They're all there. I'm there in the yearbooks.

  220. What I want to tell you is I gave God time,

  221. and with whatever little time I had, God made it count.

  222. Now to be giving God time sharing the word of

  223. God to somebody, you're going to be giving time helping

  224. a friend. You're going to be giving time reaching out

  225. to your neighbor and saying it's going to be okay.

  226. You mean to say God doesn't take into account your challenges.

  227. You mean to say He won't help you. Guys, you

  228. got to stop thinking. We got to stop thinking about ourselves. Okay,

  229. put me in it, all right, We have to stop

  230. thinking about ourselves. But when we spend time getting involved

  231. in God's plan, which is what this is all about,

  232. unpacking the vision. The vision is for what go out,

  233. preach the gospel, make disciples, and God will take care

  234. of our business. God will take care I want to

  235. share your testimony with you, so we have h Okay,

  236. I'll be honest. We try to run like our other

  237. colleagues in the Board of Eldership, and in the ex

  238. church ministry. But these guys are running at one thousand

  239. miles per hour at the mable and myself are trying

  240. to keep up. We're far behind. We can see them.

  241. We're trying so hard to keep up with our aching knees,

  242. our broken bags, whatever it is. But we try to, huh,

  243. we try, We try and do our best. We fail

  244. many times. For those of you that have seen us fail,

  245. forgive us, all right, forgive us, but know this that

  246. we try. A couple of months ago, my daughter calls up.

  247. Some of you had this testimony, I'll just share it

  248. with the rest. My daughter calls us to say, Dad, Mum,

  249. I have a growth in my neck. It keeps growing bigger.

  250. You know, I'm going to get it checked. So to me,

  251. this was goiter, all right, because it was quite prominent.

  252. It was gouter. Goiter is usually a growth in your

  253. tyroid gland due to due to ironin deficiency. That's the

  254. main reason. So anyway, she says, I'm going to get

  255. this thing checked up. So she got it checked up,

  256. and then she said the doctor said we need to

  257. do further investigation. So we totally don't worry. Everything's going

  258. to be okay, just just go for it. Just go

  259. for it. Sometime in November, she called up. She called

  260. me in the office. Now when it comes to bad news,

  261. she will call me first. Okay, So she called me first.

  262. And I remember this day because it's the only day

  263. that Pastor cannot passed in front of my office. I

  264. never see him pass in front of my office, but

  265. he passed in front of the office. And you know,

  266. past the Kenneth has called a lot of things to do,

  267. so he doesn't hang around in any one place for

  268. a very long time. But he was there all the time.

  269. While my daughter was giving me this phone call my

  270. daughter Ashley, she says, Dad, the results have come back

  271. and they say that there is a growth in the

  272. other side of the thyroid that needs immediate removal. And

  273. in fact the doctor has said that it can al wait.

  274. It needs to be removed immediately. Now. When she told

  275. me that, I heard the Lord say cancer. Then she

  276. called el Mabel. She told her the same thing, and

  277. the Lord spoke to her and set operation. These we

  278. heard Okay, I heard cancer, she heard operation. So I

  279. told my daughter, Okay, don't worry about it. Tough things happened,

  280. but you know what, get a second opinion. So they

  281. sent all her tests to the US and it was

  282. checked up by a top end or chronologist in the US,

  283. a professor in a very well known university. I saw

  284. the report, in a twenty page report. She said, get

  285. this out immediately, do not wait. So she called and

  286. she says, okay, Dad, this is what it is. But

  287. God had already spoken to us, so we didn't fall

  288. to pieces. In fact, it was so natural for us

  289. to tell her it's going to be okay, don't worry

  290. about it. It's going to be okay. You know why

  291. we could feel that, and you know why we could

  292. experience it because God had already prepared the both of us.

  293. You know why good God took the trouble to prepare

  294. the both of us us because with our broken bones

  295. and a broken back, we are trying to keep up

  296. with the marathoners. You see, if you're interested about God's things,

  297. God's interested about your things. So anyway, she said that

  298. insurance company has advised that I come back to Malaysia

  299. to do it, so that there will be people around me.

  300. She said that can you find me a surgeon I

  301. have to find I said, what the insurance for us

  302. don't know her. Okay, last, so I found a surgeon.

  303. I contacted the hospital. I tell you, the nurses there

  304. can drive you crazy. And finally, since Nati was moving,

  305. I said, tell the doctor I'm coming now. So I

  306. went to the hospital. I won't tell you which hospital.

  307. I sat there and said, I'm not moving till I

  308. see the doctor. The doctor came. I met up with him,

  309. such a nice guy. We got the operation set. So

  310. she was supposed to come back and get the operation

  311. done on December third. December third, she contacted bronchitis. Came

  312. back on December third. Doctor said, sorry, I can't operate

  313. on you. You're still coughing. Postpone one week. We were

  314. there with her in the hospital the day she was

  315. to go in. She was starved the whole day because

  316. you know operation, whenever you do an operation, you got

  317. to starve right, no food in after some time, no water,

  318. So they're starving her, starving her, starving her until about

  319. ten o'clock in nine the operation didn't happen. Then finally

  320. the nurse comes in and said the operation the doctor

  321. had prior to that went on too long. So postpone

  322. until the night, gave a little bit of food, she

  323. went to sleep. Next thing we know, there's an SMS

  324. whatsapped three o'clock in the morning. Doctor is taking me

  325. in now for the operation. The operation went on from

  326. three to seven. My daughter now has a scar from

  327. this side of the neck to this side of the

  328. neck like that six seven in scar. And the doctor

  329. removed the uh thyroid, the whole thyroid gland. So it's

  330. a complete thyroid deck. Thyroid deck to me, all right,

  331. so both and limb nodules. So when I met him

  332. in the evening, I asked him, so was there anything, Yeah,

  333. I was cancer. So I said it was benign. He says, no,

  334. it was malignant. But don't worry. We've got everything. She's

  335. totally okay. I want you to know how God helped us,

  336. all right? How did God help us? If she did

  337. not have the goiter on this side, they would not

  338. have discovered the cancer on this side. God has our

  339. things in heart because we have His things at heart.

  340. And you and I don't want to serve the Lord,

  341. and we find it so troubles him to do things

  342. for God. Hey, you want God to take care of

  343. the things you cannot see start taking care of the

  344. things he can, which is you and I working for him.

  345. Although I see all things are possible with the tide,

  346. some ways we can tipe. What can we do? We

  347. can pray? Hey, guys, do we pray for somebody else?

  348. We get this? Thank you so much for praying. Because

  349. the church prayed for my daughter. Pastor immediately wrote to

  350. me the next morning, I've prayed for Ashley and I

  351. will continue praying for her. It was also on the

  352. Tuesday Hour of prayer praying. You think prayer is meaningless,

  353. it's just words, Seth. You've been appointed to pray for somebody.

  354. That's what your name stands for. You and I we've

  355. been appointed to pray for somebody. And in that praying,

  356. what is that tithing? And God can give you back

  357. thirty four sixty four, one hundred and four. I think

  358. when Ashley is better, we receive back a thousand foller.

  359. I was so depressed after Christmas. You have no idea.

  360. And the people say you always depressed after Christmas or

  361. me or my decorations going down. Christmas song's not heard anymore.

  362. My daughter's all going their own way. But we had

  363. the best Christmas with them. Around this time. So you see.

  364. So now we look forward to the next Christmas. Law

  365. start counting, start counting them the next Christmas. God is

  366. good all the time, diyes praying. We can serve God

  367. in the house. Do you know that serving God? I

  368. want to tell you something about serving God in the house.

  369. So there are many people who say, after all, you

  370. can go to church here, you can go to church.

  371. That God is in every church. Yes, he is. God

  372. is in every church. But I want you to know,

  373. if you look at scripture, it says he gave talents

  374. to his servants. He didn't give talents to the visitors. Now,

  375. those of us that you are visiting from a church,

  376. please send your greetings to your pastors when you go back,

  377. because I believe you are serving in that church. And

  378. you may be here on holiday. If you haven't got

  379. a church, we're open to you. Come and serve. You

  380. want to get talents from the Lord. You serve in

  381. the house. If you don't serve in the house, you

  382. preclude yourself. You remove yourself from that blessing. And you

  383. know what's the worst thing. When we go to some place,

  384. they say I want to go to here, and next

  385. you can want to go there and the following I

  386. want to go somewhere else. You know what, you're treating

  387. God like a restaurant. God has become your servant. Yeah,

  388. it's true. God has become your servant. You want to

  389. sample the cuisine in every other place. God didn't call

  390. us to be food critics. He called us to be

  391. servants in the house of the Lord. I feel for

  392. this because I ask the Lord these kind of questions,

  393. and God, the Lord gives me these kind of answers.

  394. Share the word, man, what are you gonna do? Share

  395. the word? Okay, Now, not everyone can get up on

  396. stage and preach. Not everyone el Rose the ping O came.

  397. I feel intimidated in your presence When I see them

  398. sitting down there, I'm shivering. But guys, sharing the word

  399. doesn't necessarily mean you speaking about it. If you can't,

  400. if you don't have the words, what can you do? Hey, friend,

  401. why didn't you come to church? You know we get

  402. great messages. Somebody can speak to you, maybe your your

  403. or your problem will be will be resolved. Come in listen.

  404. You can do that, right, Yeah, you can invite a friend.

  405. You can do that. You can even do this get

  406. somebody to come and see your friend, somebody who can talk.

  407. So you cannot talk? So what the world has ended? No,

  408. there are things you and I can do so sharing. Yeah, yeah,

  409. it's great if we can talk and praise the Lord.

  410. And it's great if we can share the word, all

  411. that is good. Right, But if you can't, there are

  412. other ways to share the gospel. How about giving a track?

  413. Cannot talk? Right, here's a Bible. You'll find your answer there.

  414. Turn to page da da da da da da dat. There.

  415. You don't need to talk. Man the pastor that I

  416. was under in in Singapore during that time where I

  417. used to pray for the deliverance cases. If you ask

  418. him a question, he won't answer. You ask he is

  419. a brilliant when it comes to the Bible. You ask

  420. him any question. Read, you ask another question. Read? Why

  421. does he need to say anything? The Word is telling

  422. you everything you need to know. Guys, share make disciples?

  423. Now you say I can't make disciples. How many of

  424. you are parents? Quite a number? Right? You made babies right,

  425. and whether you agree or you don't agree, your child

  426. is looking at you. How many of you say, well,

  427. he works exactly like a father because where do you

  428. think he learned to walk from the father? Why not?

  429. Why this one talks exactly like the mother. Where did

  430. they learn to talk from the mother? Learned? What is that?

  431. Do you know that, whether you are aware of it

  432. or not aware of it, you are discipling somebody. So

  433. why keep it unofficial? Get into the program, help somebody.

  434. Oh I don't want to do guys, I'm gonna share

  435. with you something in a little while. It's a little

  436. bit scary, but you're gonna help somebody. Doesn't mean you

  437. need to be a You know what the Bible says,

  438. imitate me as I imitate Christ. That's what Paul says, right,

  439. Paul says, imitate me as I imitate Christ. So the

  440. only thing you know is, hey, Jesus Christ save me.

  441. That's the only thing. Do you know? I got more

  442. people saved just saying Jesus Christ save me than I

  443. have talking about the whole theology of the Bible. The

  444. most people that I brought to the Lord were simply

  445. because in Jesus' name you can pray and the rain

  446. will stop. And I did it, and he said was true.

  447. I say, come in here, came to church, came in

  448. walked out Bonn again. Out of those first six people,

  449. three of them are pastors. Out of my good friends

  450. in Singapore that I constantly spend time sharing about the

  451. prayers that I had prayed in church, one of them

  452. has now built six churches. One of them was cured

  453. of cancer and is now Metionary Southeast Asia. And another

  454. one shares what I told her about how God will

  455. protect her, and she shares that same message which I

  456. shared with her forty years ago with others. Guys, share

  457. make disciples. They're looking at you. You know what was

  458. the reason My friend's mother asked me to come and

  459. stay with them. She wanted me to be an example

  460. to her son. You know what I was doing. I

  461. was making a disciple. Guys, you don't realize it. You

  462. have what it takes. If not, God wouldn't have told

  463. you to do it. Do you know that God has

  464. more faith in you than you have in yourself, because

  465. He showed a lot of faith when he said going

  466. into the whole world, preach the gospel. Make disciples of

  467. every towne tryba nation. That tells me God has faith.

  468. You know that even Jesus exercises faith. Who is he

  469. exercise faith in you and I make disciples take on leadership.

  470. Now we have this word here called leadership, right, and

  471. everybody cringes. I don't want to be a leader. I

  472. see Elder Rosa, she has to go up there and share.

  473. She's a leader. God Man used me to go up

  474. there and share. So I don't want to be a leader. Hey, guys,

  475. let me explain to you what leadership is. Again. Another

  476. word for leadership is servanthood. If I say you want

  477. to be a servant the Lord, you'll say yes. But

  478. being a leader is being a servant. Being a leader

  479. is being a servant. Right, So what are you leading?

  480. You're leading the cause in servanthood? Be a leader because

  481. in fact, when Elder mable and me were asked by

  482. Pastor to take on leadership, we say, no needla. We

  483. don't need to be called leader. We just serve in

  484. the background. We just do things in the background. Hey,

  485. no need leadership. I will come and I will clean

  486. the church toilets. You know what Pastor said, it's not

  487. about that. When you step into the office, you get

  488. the anointing of that office. So why is it that

  489. we get these miracles happening to us even when we're

  490. not thinking about it, because there is an anointing of

  491. the office that we are in. Guys, you and I

  492. want to live in that office. We want to live

  493. in that power of the glory of God. That things

  494. are happening to us because we're doing His things. Guys,

  495. community work okay anything, ah, Your community work is left

  496. to those guys who are good guys. We can all

  497. do community work. Okay. You know what we did for community.

  498. We gave gifts to our the people who collect our garbage.

  499. We gave a call. We say, all these people, can

  500. you can you let us know when they're coming? We

  501. want to prepare gifts for them. And little did we

  502. find didn't Little did we know that all of them

  503. came from Flores Flores Is, Indonesia, and they all actually Catholics,

  504. and they're so said that they couldn't be home for Christmas.

  505. And when they received those gifts until today, they love

  506. us my house. They always make sure the garbage is clean.

  507. But that's not the reason why we give. We wanted

  508. to bless them. Community. You see, community is about blessing

  509. people without expecting anything in return. Missions we can do that,

  510. Elder Roles will testify. I went on that mission trip,

  511. first time I ever went, and I said, okay, the

  512. first time. Yeah, it's the first time I went on missions. Okay,

  513. I go on mission trip. I thought I will pick

  514. the most difficult one. So I went with her and

  515. my leader was Michelle. I call her fearless leader. So

  516. we went to Bakassi. The thing about Becassi is there's

  517. no chairs anywhere you go, so the problem was sitting

  518. on the floor. Once you sit on the floor, can

  519. I get up? And you know, you gotta love the people, Okay,

  520. they bless you. The houses are very small. Nobody in

  521. Indonesia and the houses that we went to has furniture.

  522. You know why because where they sit is where they sleep,

  523. So the beds are always pushed up against the wall.

  524. So we go into the house, we said, we talk

  525. with the people and then I have to sit on

  526. the floor. Then after I'm struggling to get up. But

  527. it's okay, it's okay, go for missions. Do you know

  528. that God will do great things for you and through you?

  529. You ask her. I was so afraid that I had

  530. to share on a Sunday Shane Bahssa, hey oh, I

  531. translated that's the first time, I wrote the whole message out.

  532. Now the whole message. I wrote the whole thing out.

  533. Then after that I tied myself. Okay, forteen minutes. Then

  534. I asked Ai to translate to the Bassa Indonesia. And

  535. then when I went up on that Sunday, God said,

  536. put the paper aside. Seventeen pages. I put it big labaga,

  537. I don't like to wear glasses. Seventeen pages. God said,

  538. put it aside. So I started talking. Of course, when

  539. I got stuck, I'll refer to my living dictionary. She

  540. helped me with a word. So I shared chat chat

  541. chad chat chair chat. Then after that I said the

  542. rose am I okay with time, She very gracious, said yeah, yeah, okay,

  543. you go five minutes left, okay, okay. So I wrapped

  544. it up in five minutes. Then when the whole thing

  545. was over, I just looked at him and said, so,

  546. but forty five minutes, right, She said, no, it's one

  547. in a half hours. God is able to give you speech.

  548. You put yourself out there, he will give you what

  549. you need, some missions, all right. So the Bible says

  550. that when we tied, God will div he will rebuild

  551. the devour the one who prevents you from seeing these

  552. great things happen. God will say, get your hands off

  553. their lives, so heart check. So how can I redeem

  554. my time with the law? How will you redeem your

  555. time with the Lord? Just doing the things you want

  556. to do. But it says your give to Caesar? What

  557. is Caesar's and God? What is God? So the company,

  558. the family your responsibilities. That's your responsibility, give to Caesar.

  559. What is How many of your students here put up

  560. your hand You're either a student, not a student? Okay,

  561. what is your responsibility now? Your responsibility is to be

  562. the best student that you can be. That is your responsibility.

  563. How many of your parents here put up your hands straight?

  564. What is our responsibility to provide our children with that

  565. which is necessary necessary so they can be the best

  566. students that they can be. That is our responsibility. Guys,

  567. your responsibility at this age is not to pair up.

  568. Your responsibility is not to get sidetracked. Be friends with everybody,

  569. Be a friend with that one person after you have

  570. done your responsibility. Because when you get the things mixed up,

  571. your life runs into trouble. Don't mix things up. Keep

  572. it clear. I mean I was in Singapore. Nobody was

  573. looking at me. Right, I could have run away with

  574. any girl I wanted. Hey, I was a looker, right,

  575. I show you pictures. You won't believe how good I look. Hey,

  576. you laugher, I'm telling you the truth. I had girls

  577. from others schools come up to me and say, can

  578. I look into your eyes? So I asked them, why

  579. would you do such a thing. No, there's a story

  580. going around that the hit prefect of Batley's Secondary school

  581. has got such dreamy eyes and wonderful eyelashes. Don't come

  582. up to me afterwards and check it out again. It

  583. was forty years ago. But you see the point I'm

  584. trying to make is my responsibility was to be the

  585. best student that I could be. I was friends with everybody.

  586. I was a friend with not one particular person, because

  587. what was my responsibility to be the best student I

  588. could be? Do you know when I got involved with someone,

  589. when I had fulfilled that responsibility, and then I saw

  590. Elder Mabel and God said she is the one. She took.

  591. She took a longer time to see. That's all right,

  592. that's that's all right, because God wanted me to know

  593. what it was like to be chased for many years.

  594. Three years after that, I was chased and chase and

  595. chase until I said yes. Because when I first asked her,

  596. she said no, Okay, that's all right. Sorry. What I'm

  597. trying to say is God has your things at hand.

  598. She said no, But God told her you can have

  599. whoever you want, but he is my pick for you.

  600. Right on the one, he said, yes, you see me

  601. and God, verything one give to Caesar. What is Caesar's Okay?

  602. So what action am I going to take to give

  603. God what belongs to him? Wow? Tied your time? Okay?

  604. How are we doing for time? Okay? So fifteen more minutes?

  605. Appraise the Lord. Are you having a good time? Are

  606. you liar? If you're having a good time, it has

  607. to be a ruptures chiller. Okay, okay, let's move on.

  608. Let's move on. So intention, prayer, devotion, community connections, time, schedule, evangelism.

  609. Say these this is what determines the leadership a leader.

  610. These are the things that we do. So what is

  611. significant about the next twenty years? We talk about twenty twenty, right,

  612. So when we approach twenty twenty, God downloaded a lot

  613. of significant things to us. God has brought us through

  614. twenty years faithfully, Joseph and the dream. So what is

  615. the next twenty years? Daniel? Daniel is what go out

  616. into the marketplace? Hey, not a marketplace Christian, but a

  617. Christian in the marketplace. You are the influencer. The marketplace

  618. is not the influencer. Let's get this right. Twenty twenty.

  619. What is twenty twenty twenty is perfect vision. So even

  620. do you realize in twenty twenty something happened in militia

  621. change your government. Wow, that was one of the things.

  622. So Daniel is going into the marketplace. You know, he's

  623. not going to the marketplace, but he was. He seld

  624. four kings, He selved four kings, you know, Daniel's self

  625. for kings. God showed that each king was like a government.

  626. The election cycle is every five years. Hence five times

  627. four cycles is twenty years. You and I got to

  628. get excited about the years to come, but more so

  629. you than me. You know what, next twenty years, I'll

  630. be eighty four. Next twenty years, what will you be?

  631. You will be leaders in your field, You will be

  632. the shakers and the movers. You will have your own families,

  633. you will have your own kids. You will have challenges

  634. on your own that your father and mother will not

  635. be bailing you out of. You will be determining your

  636. own direction. I pray that you will determine your direction

  637. with the help of the Holy Spirit leading the life

  638. that He has shown you to live for His glory.

  639. And that's the way it should be. That's the way

  640. it should be. Let's break it down a little bit

  641. by size. Okay, so the act leader they are we're

  642. talking about twenty twenty one was significant and there were

  643. key takeaways from that event. Okay, we need to make

  644. sure your huddle and your huddle members are clear about

  645. the part they are part of the wall? What wall? Well,

  646. the wall they had crumbled and Niehi Maya took fifty

  647. two days to build it up with what careful planning.

  648. Everybody knew the part that they were to play. What

  649. is the part you and I have to play? Get

  650. up in the morning. I don't know what to do, Lord.

  651. If you stay with it, I don't know what to do,

  652. then that's half the prayer. The press should be. I

  653. don't know what to do, Lord, Lord, what do I do?

  654. And the Lord will give you direction. He'll give you

  655. a direction. Last year, he said, last year, Yeah, well,

  656. I started doing something new. And something new was I

  657. tell people, you got somebody who's not well, you've got

  658. somebody who doesn't know the Lord. Call me. I will come.

  659. I will talk to them, I will share with them.

  660. You know why I'm willing to do that because I'm

  661. no longer afraid of what people think of me. Who cares?

  662. Now you like me, you don't like me? So what

  663. I live? Because the only one that matters is whether

  664. God likes me or not. So I tell you about Christ.

  665. You don't like me, I'm going to follow pieces. No,

  666. I'll just say, hey, Lord my title. I spent two

  667. hours with the guy he said, No, it's all right.

  668. I was my tithe for the day. So that becomes

  669. that guy's problem, not your problem, because then that guy

  670. has to answer to the Lord. Hey, this Onelly took

  671. time to share with you. What did you do with it? Hey,

  672. you think we all going to escape? We will have

  673. to account to the Lord for every bit of our time.

  674. God really gives us chances. We learned that. Yes, we

  675. had a session where we talked about we learned about

  676. second chance. You know how much God loves you and me.

  677. I want you to know something. God is not about

  678. catching us doing wrong. You know when your friend does something, Ah,

  679. you see, you did that wrong? That should not be

  680. our attitude. You know what our attitude should be? Can

  681. I help you? Is there any way I can make

  682. your life better? That should be an attitude when we

  683. see a friend doing a mistake, say, look, guy, friend,

  684. I don't know what's going through your mind, but if

  685. ever you need help, I'm here for you. It's much

  686. better than say you're doing wrong. You're so wrong? What's

  687. the matter with you? Do you know that Christ was

  688. about catching people doing right? He went to the temple

  689. and a lot of people were doing a lot of things.

  690. What God is I? What God is I? A woman

  691. who had nothing but gave two minds? He's about catching

  692. people doing right. The people were about catching people doing wrong.

  693. When they threw that lady in front of him, she

  694. was an adultress. I always wonder what happened to the guy.

  695. Do you realize that they threw the woman before Jesus?

  696. How come they didn't throw the guy? It was a setup.

  697. In case you do not know it was a setup.

  698. But where Jesus is concerned he was about forgiveness. Hey,

  699. I'm not going to condemn you. I want to see

  700. you live and live life correctly. Guys, you've got to

  701. know the heart of your savior, you know when you

  702. think about that. Huh. That's why when that song came

  703. on on E Swings, I just said that. Already My

  704. eyes feel like they're about to tear because it tells

  705. me about God and how much he loves us and

  706. how much he cares for us. Make sure, make sure

  707. that every one of that thousand we are the thousand

  708. we are counted for. We are participating, we are playing.

  709. You know, it's not about the numbers, but it's about

  710. the names. Guys, You and I we count for something.

  711. You think you have nothing to offer, Well, let me

  712. tell you that teeth from the Cross who said, Jesus

  713. remember me when you come into your kingdom. What did

  714. he have to offer? He was already on the cross.

  715. Was there anything he could do for Jesus? You and

  716. I say no, Jesus thought otherwise. You know what he

  717. could do for Christ Lord remember me. The one thing

  718. he could do he did. And what did Jesus say today?

  719. Did Jesus didn't say tomorrow. Jesus didn't say, you get

  720. down from the cross and do what you need to

  721. do first. Jesus did not even say, just now you

  722. ridicule me, and now you want me to speak nicely

  723. to you. You read the scripture, Okay, the scripture said

  724. that both thieves ridicule Jesus. But somewhere along the line

  725. one of them repented and said, Lord, remember me, And

  726. Jesus said, today you will be with me in paradise. Lovely,

  727. isn't it. Don't you love that about Jesus. He's out

  728. to catch us doing good? So how can we break

  729. it down and make it personal? In Ephesians for sixty

  730. INSS from whom the whole body join and knit together

  731. by every joint supplies, according to the effective working by

  732. which every part does its share. Guys, if you're a musician,

  733. don't expect the table arranger to play the instrument. If

  734. you are a musician, come up here and lead praise

  735. the Lord. For Janet I saw one keyboard is today

  736. she brought the spirit of the Lord down with all

  737. her wonderful apage, heels and scales. So how many of us, hey, look,

  738. you know I would play the drums. But I'm not

  739. here often enough, but I would with whatever beat I

  740. could keep, I would do that. Guys, if you have

  741. the ability, come up here and do what you can do,

  742. because you're part of that body. So somewhere along the line,

  743. the hands are not working, or the eyes are closed,

  744. or the years have been shot, and only the legs

  745. are on. Guys, I wanted This is the part that

  746. scares me. This is the part that I spoke to

  747. the Lord about the thing that interests Jesus is what

  748. Matthew twenty eight. Now, all the other parts of scripture

  749. is about us getting saved, about us living right before God.

  750. Is about how we are supposed to conduct ourselves. You read,

  751. the whole scripture is talking about our personal conduct and

  752. worship towards God. But what is Jesus' interests? What is

  753. his interests? Go preach, make disciples, Go preach, make disciples.

  754. You see, that's What's on God's mind. Now if we

  755. refuse to do it, you know what we're telling Jesus,

  756. this is not on my mind. What's on your heart

  757. lot is not what's on mine. What interests you has

  758. no interest in mine. Do you know that when we

  759. do not get on board with sharing the gospel or

  760. helping people share the gospel, or providing responsibility and means

  761. for people to share the gospel, or for doing what

  762. we can to get people to hear the gospel, or

  763. for discipling someone, or for being a disciple, or for

  764. getting involved in these things. We are telling the Lord

  765. you don't interest me. And then my mind goes to

  766. scripture that says, and there were some who came to him,

  767. and he says, depart from me. But Lord, we preached

  768. in your name, we cast out demons. You know what

  769. he says, depart from me. I never knew you. Why

  770. would that be? The seven sons of Schema tried to

  771. cast out demons in Jesus name. Did they succeed? No?

  772. But what does that scripture say? That scripture says, we

  773. cast out demons in your name, and he will say,

  774. what depart from me? I never knew you. I'm not

  775. meaning to scare you, That's not my purpose. But I

  776. want you to know there has to be some relationship

  777. between what interests God and what interests us. And if

  778. what interests God is not what interests us, I'm telling

  779. it to you. Now, go to the Lord and talk

  780. to him about it, because while we are breathing, we

  781. have time to correct it. While we have life in

  782. our spirit, we can correct the situation. Because once our

  783. breath has left our body, how are we going to

  784. answer the Lord? You know, when we meet Jesus, he's

  785. not going to ask us how many businesses we own?

  786. You know, when we meet Jesus, he's not going to

  787. ask us how many is we had in our exams?

  788. When we meet Jesus is not going to ask us

  789. what car did we drive? When we meet Jesus, I

  790. believe one of the questions he's going to ask us

  791. is was what that was on my heart? In your heart? Sobering,

  792. isn't it? Let's be sober now rather than cry later on. Okay,

  793. let's I'm gotta wrap this up. Okay, So why twenty

  794. years well X approached its twentieth aniverse three year twenty twenty,

  795. God revealed to pass it the first twenty years as

  796. Joseph we know that dream, and now the next twenty

  797. years Daniel the vision. So let's let's talk about some

  798. practicalities here. What is God's diet? God's diet is too

  799. first to fill the earth half dominion. That's in Genesis.

  800. All right, fill the earth, and now what are we

  801. supposed to do? We are supposed to make disciples. What

  802. is our upload? Our upload is the type. Start with

  803. what we have, Start with what we have. What's our

  804. action in the process? And then the leaving the living

  805. is what the leaven. It's the discipline to keep doing

  806. it until it becomes a momentum. It's the plan. Get

  807. with the have you heard that statement before, Get with

  808. the program. That's eleven. And of course Passa talked about

  809. the church songs. That was what is in the hands,

  810. scoured the house? Such what was in the house. And

  811. today I think we sang two songs that were done

  812. in house. Okay, let's go a little bit further. So

  813. now we know that roughly, what is how do we

  814. put this practice? Well, we talk about past us talking

  815. about level two. God's die was what one thousand times

  816. one thousand? Does it actually mean one thousand times one thousand? Yes?

  817. And no, yes, praise the Lord of it happens. No,

  818. it's about the spirit, the desire to keep growing, the

  819. desire to keep planting. Do not stop. Okay, take stock

  820. of the first thousand. We are the first thousand men, Hey,

  821. God's taking stock of us. We are the ones who

  822. can work like Daniel to see God's principles come to pass.

  823. What's the tie. Well, out of that thousand, we have

  824. two hundred and fifteen, we have about two hundred and

  825. fifteen leaders love we do, and the rest of the

  826. seven fifty be disciples. If any one of you not

  827. being disciples, approach your leaders and get in a program,

  828. get in a program, because you need to be disciples

  829. in order to be a discipler. Why you want to

  830. show God what interests him, interests you and what interests

  831. Jesus going into the world, preach the gospel, make disciples

  832. of every tribe tongue and every tribe nation in tongue,

  833. or something like that. The eleven make a list, guys

  834. who to see make a list, Make a list, coming

  835. up with a strategy. This is a strategy. Sharing the

  836. plan with you, unpacking that's a strategy. Give you the

  837. information that you need to know why you're doing. What

  838. you're doing makes life better, all right? And then we

  839. talk about level three. What would level three be? Well,

  840. by twenty thirty, we want to see a thousand, a thousand,

  841. not church transfers. Okay, but new believers nine thousand New

  842. believers nine thousand is the ninety percent. Ten percent was us.

  843. Let's work. See because if each one of us brings

  844. in one percent a year by twenty thirty, we have

  845. now five years to go. If you haven't brought in

  846. one person since twenty twenty or five behind, which means

  847. that you have to bring in two each, bringing two

  848. each for the next five years, you say, wow, you

  849. count like that. Well, if you plan like that before

  850. the Lord, the Lord will honor. If you're willing to

  851. do it, the Lord will help you. Okay, So daily

  852. he wants his daily bread. Well, ninety percent new believers.

  853. What's her tie? Every one of the one thousand partners

  854. reach one new soul every year, nine thousand new souls.

  855. What's the eleventh? Look and pray for an opportunity to

  856. show God's love. Hey, show God's love. Help and need

  857. somebody help, Not just anybody help, help somebody. God's love

  858. displays power and point to Jesus. Every day. God will

  859. do great miracles through you. Remember the person who God

  860. saved because I talked to him about badminton guys, God

  861. will use He will speak to you to tell you

  862. how to get people safe if you'll give him an opportunity.

  863. All right, So what we want to account When we

  864. want to account for something, we must first break it down.

  865. So here this is the practical part of break it down.

  866. Make sure the numbers become names. Hey, we're not talking

  867. about two people. How do you get two people? Find

  868. two names that you can go out talk to. You know,

  869. some of them may not accept Christ straight away. I

  870. shared with a guy I wrote in his autograph book.

  871. Five years later, I find that he was on his

  872. yacht and he was about to die. He remembered what

  873. I wrote in the autograph book. He called on the

  874. name of Jesus. Jesus came to him on the water,

  875. saved his life. He got back to show, gave up

  876. all his riches. Today he is serving the Lord as

  877. a pastor. How long did that process take? It didn't matter.

  878. I shared with him in nineteen eighty two, maybe five

  879. years in nineteen eighty seven. He accepts the Lord. Guys,

  880. just do what you need to do. Okay. Numbers ideas.

  881. They will be radical ideas. Some of them will be

  882. radical ideas, some of them be normal ideas. Not every

  883. radical idea. Not every idea needs to be radical. Some

  884. can be normal. What's a normal eye? Call a friend,

  885. go and see him. Radical idea, Have a evangelistic outreach

  886. in your own house called have food, big party, celebration,

  887. call you know, gospel singers from around the world. That's radical. Okay,

  888. that can work too, Okay, Time and investment redeem the time.

  889. He break it down. What do I want to do

  890. on Monday? What do I want to do on Tuesday?

  891. What do I want to do on Wednesday? But you see,

  892. if you don't break it down the time, if you

  893. leave everything in the air, guess what, it'll be very airy,

  894. fairy nothing happens. If you ask yourself why nothing happens

  895. in the last twenty years for your life and mine?

  896. Maybe because we've just left everything up in the air.

  897. In Luke thirteen, verse sixty nine, it says he also

  898. spoke the s parable A certain man had a fig tree. Ha,

  899. this is another one, the scary one. A certain man

  900. had a fig tree. You must also here some scary ones. Okay.

  901. Planted a video and he came seeking fruit on it

  902. and found none. Then he said to the keeper of

  903. the vineyard, look for three years, I've come seeking fruit

  904. on this fig tree and found none. Cut it down.

  905. Why does it use up the ground. But he answered

  906. and said to him, sir, let it alone this year

  907. also until I dig around it and fertilize it. And

  908. if it bears fruit, well, but if not, then you

  909. can cut it down. You don't want God to cut

  910. us down. You don't And the only way God will

  911. not cut us down is if we are bearing fruit.

  912. And if you're not bearing fruit, it means this. You

  913. need to dig around that tree and you need to

  914. fertilize it with the Word of God and prayer and

  915. belief and confession, the power the Holy Spirit. That's what

  916. you need to do. So, guys, if you've found yourself

  917. lacking in this area, your life is not over. It

  918. simply means you've got some fertilizing to do. You got

  919. some effort that you need to do to get your

  920. life right right so that what is on God's heart

  921. will be on yours as well. Okay, there may be

  922. those who have not responded to these last few years,

  923. yet God is still counting them in. Wow, he hasn't

  924. cut them down yet. You know when you're cut down,

  925. when your life is over, you have no more chance.

  926. Don't wait until that time. Okay, even those who have

  927. not been fruitful, if they are still attending church, give

  928. them another chance. Today you're being given a chance. How

  929. many of you year one hundred and twenty? The chance

  930. is yours to get with the program, to get in

  931. line with what once and may you always bear fruit.

  932. Because if your desire is to live with what's on

  933. God's heart and make it what's on your heart, I

  934. guarantee you one hundred percent you will succeed. So what

  935. is this vision? We have been given a chance to

  936. bear fruit in church? So what is this chance? You

  937. and I in the fifth session of unpacking the series

  938. have learned, then we got to tie to God and

  939. give to him what's his due. We've got to trust

  940. him to see him work in our lives. We've got

  941. to believe that he's a god of second chances, and

  942. he will give you that chance to work. And what's

  943. important is for us to do what he wants us

  944. to do. So let's go out there and be a

  945. difference in the world around us. Let's stay. We're gonna

  946. sing a song, lovely song. Let's praise the Lord and

  947. give him glory. We want to love Jesus with our lives.

  948. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
