Session 6 - Unpacking the Vision of Acts Church | Eld Peng Hoe

You're listening to a message to go from at church.

We hope this message will light up your tea.

And I'm going to do a simple recap from last week.

Can't do a whole recap about everything, but suffice for

us to understand. Last week we spoke about the or

we emphasize on the power of the tide, how important

it is for us to tithe and offer ourselves unto

the Lord. That's what tithing is. Basically, you set a

side whatever it is that the Lord has told us

to set a side for him.

Very very important.

And you know, when I read the scriptures, one of

the things that I realize the Lord wants us to

set a side for him is ultimately both.

Our labor and our loyalty.

He wants our labor, he wants our service until him,

he wants our loyalty. Where did I get that from?

If you read Genesis chapter two, verse fifteen, it says

the Lord God took the man and put him in

the garden of Eden to work it and.

Take care of it.

That's the purpose that we are created for God talk

man put him in the garden of Eden to work

it and to take care of it.

That's labor.

And then he goes on to say, and the Lord

God commanded the man, you are free to eat from

any tree in the garden, but you must not eat

from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

for when you eat it, you will certainly die. Of course,

I'm not going to go into the deep theological teaching,

but from there you realize God also wanted loyalty from men,

not just labor, but loyalty. These are the two things

that we are to offer up unto the Lord, our

service and our faithfulness. It's so important for us to

be reminded of the power of the tithe because what

you offer up to the Lord, he will take it,

he will use it, and he will return it to us.

In many fold. That is and has always been the

Lord's ways.

And so last week that was the emphasis in which

we were talking about the power of the type, and

of course, throughout the past five sessions we've been breaking

it down. We've been talking about what God's diet is

for our church. Basically, what is the vision and how

do we interpret the vision. The vision is from Haber Cooke,

chapter two, verse fourteen, and it just basically to make

it simple and short, the awareness of the glory of

God must be made known to all the earth. That's

what Haba Cooke chapter two, verse fourteen just says. You know,

it's not a knowledge or an awareness that has to

be kept by only a few people. We know it,

we keep it to ourselves. No, it says that the

knowledge of the glory of God has to be made

known to all the earth, just like how the water

covers the sea.

So that has.

Always been the underlying vision that the Lord has given

to us as a church, and what we do with

it is going to be very, very important. That's what

is men when we say we need to know what

God's diet is, what God's dietary plan is for us

as a church, because all of us need to get

on this plan if we want to be fit and

healthy and run full of purpose towards the direction in

which the Lord is leading us. And so God's diet

is how we look at the vision, how we interpret

this vision, what does it mean? And then of course

we talked about the daily brain, daily braid.

Daily.

We need to seek the Lord daily, We need to

ask him Lord feed us daily because we want to

be a fulfillment of this vision. Let us not be

an impediment, let us not be a hindrance to the vision,

but instead, let us facilitate and help this vision come

to pass. So daily we are asking the Lord Lord,

give us this day our daily break.

Why is it so important daily?

And understanding of daily is because every day we are

dependent on Him. Back then, they understood it because they

dependent on.

The daily wage.

Every worker depended daily on a wage. If they don't

get any wage on their day, they don't eat on

the day. Of course, today we get a monthly wage,

most of us at least, and sometimes it may not.

It's almost like we depend on God on a monthly basis.

But the desperation from the start has always been Lord,

we need you daily. And that's why the Lord's prayer says,

give us this day our daily bread. And so the

daily bread is this We wanted to encourage to teach

the church to make a list. You know, don't just say, oh,

we have this big inspiring vision of making the whole

earth be aware of the glory of God. But where

do you even start? And we are saying it starts

with us making a list. Who are those in whom

we want to first bring this knowledge to because there

are many people in our lives who have yet to

know who God is.

That is the honest truth.

I'm sure all of us have got someone that we

know who does not know who God is. And that's

where we are encouraging every partner that is. This is

not just a responsibility that's given to us as leaders,

not a responsibility given to the more seasoned Christians who

have been here for a long time, but it is

a responsibility given to every single one of us here

who calls ourselves followers and disciples of Christ.

We need to actively live.

Out God's call and God's purpose in our lives, and

so we encourage the church to make that list. If

it's just one person on that list, at least your

pray for one person daily, Lord, help this person come

to know you. And then maybe as you keep praying

it every day, one day the law will say you

be the one that go and tell this, or you

be the one that invites this person to church, or

you be the one. I don't know, but at least

start with one person. Have a list. That's why we

say make that list. That's what the daily break is.

And then we spoke about the tithing, and the tithing

is basically our commitment. It's what we offer up unto

the Lord. The commitment is so important. It's very easy

to pay lip service. It's very easy to say, that's

an awesome vision. You know here here, Paster Cannon, awesome

that you have heard this vision and you have shared

it with the church.

And then it stops there. No, he's pasta.

Kennon has been pleading with the masses right from the

very start. This is not an initiative or an effort

in which one person can do it, even though the

vision has been given to him and he has downloaded it,

but he has downloaded on behalf of all of us

who calls X our home. And so this is a

family vision. This is something that we all have a

role to play in and we need to be able

to make that commitment, make that commitment because we've got

to be committed to seeing the vision come to pass.

That's what the Tide was all about.

And then ultimately we spoke about the leaven as well,

the leaven that levens the whole door. We need to

find that very catalyst that allows us and enables us

to make everything count. What does it mean is for

some of us, it is by being forced out. No,

you need to be kicked out to go and reach out.

You need to be reminded that actually many of us are,

actually we are outside. We don't just stay and live

in the church. Many of you are in the marketplace.

That means that you are already out. We don't have

to kick you any further, but we need to remind

you that wherever you are.

At, make it count.

It is so important because I can be at your marketplace.

You are at your marketplace for a very specific reason.

The Lord does not allow our lives to just He

doesn't roll a dice with each and every one of us,

like okay, this one here, this one. There no plan,

no purpose, no every single one of you. If you're

born into a particular family, there is a plan and

a purpose for you. If you're here in this church

or wishever church that the Lord has called you, there

is a reason why he has led you here. There's

a reason why you have put your sticks in, and

there's a reason why you have committed your life to

this church.

If you are in a marketplace.

Same thing is not by chance, not flu not by coincidence,

that you are working where you are at, or you

have set up this business that you are doing. Everything

has God a reason for it, and we want you

to realize that you can make it count wherever you

are at.

Amen.

So that is in the gist. What has been sad

the past five lessons. So here are some final thoughts.

Final thoughts from unpacking the vision. Okay um, take note

again I've said this multiple times that this vision is

the same for everyone across the board. That means what

we are hearing here in ex Malaysia. We will also

inform and tell our global church, no even here in Malaysia.

Our church plans, all of them started at different times.

People who come into the church, who join and be

a part of the church. Some of us have been

here since two thousand, that's when the church started. Some

of us came a little bit later, some came much

much later. Some jazz came. But it applies to all.

This is the same for everyone. The vision does not

change depending on when you got yourself admitted into this church. No,

if you are here, like I said, you are part

and puzzle of God's plan and to be able to

see this vision come to pass. And so we are centralized.

In that sense, we are centralized and united in spirit.

I think so important for us.

To realize that all of us need to be united

in spirit. There has to be a unity of spirit

that takes place. There may is when we come together.

There's a cammaraderie, there is a sameness, there is a

uniformity in what we are doing. Start with that first,

because it is the Holy Spirit that holds us all

together as a glue. And I know, I know that

many times it's not so straightforward because there are some

things that I feel I believe in something a little

bit different.

You know, if you study the.

Scriptures in efficients, it always talks about unity in spirit first,

and then we walk towards the unity in faith because

doctrinally there are some things that we may or may

not fully agree on right at this very point, even

the churches today have may have different doctrinal believes. But

I am of the opinion that when we all die

and we go to heaven, I'm not going to be

distinguished by might denomination. Are you a Methodist, Are you

a Baptist? Are you a free I really believe at

the end of it, we will all come to the

same unity of faith. But we start off with the

unity of spirit and work towards the same beliefs and

ultimately I know we will all end up in the

same place.

Amen.

So this is really a vision that is for everyone.

It's the same across the board for us here and

Malaysia as well as our global plants. And we need

the support of each other to get the work done.

This is not a job.

In which only select few people are involved in. This

is a work that every single person here. That's why

we call the people who come to our church partners.

We don't call your members.

You're not here paying a membership fee and therefore waiting

to reap some service from the church. No, you are

here basically saying I am a partner, I am a stakeholder.

I am putting my hands to the plow. I'm not

just going to be sitting on the plow hoping for

someone else to pull me along this ride. You are saying,

I'll put my hands to the plow and I'm going

to plow this land together with everyone else.

We need every.

Single person because, like I say, all of you have

got different gifts, different talents, different forms of labor in

which you can offer the law. Some of you may

speak different languages, some of you are in different industries.

When all of us are involved in this together we

go much further. That is the power of community that

will get us places. If you see that, I pray

that we will remain united, because when we remain united,

nothing will come against us. And so what unites us

is really the fact that we believe in this vision.

We believe that God really does one earth as a

church to make his glory known to the furthest ends

of this earth, and it starts with earth making his

glory known. Wherever we are at right now makes sense.

We need each other.

And then.

The last thing that I want to just highlight some

final thoughts, is this. I believe God is going to

give us creativity because the scripture tells us to storm

new wine into new wine skin and there's going to

be I know, as a church, this is our twenty

six year.

A lot of times we are wondering, you know, how.

Do we move long with the change in times. How

do we keep the ancient of days relevant in the present.

I want you to know this, the Lord in whom

we worship has never changed. He remains the same yesterday, today,

and forever more. Yes, I know we may be changing.

We may think that some things needs some progress, which

I agree with.

But truth never changes.

Truth is truth, regardless of when you hear it, whatever

that kid, whatever epoch, or whatever century that you are at,

that is the reality of it. But God is also

a God who is creative. Every ounce of creativity in

you comes from a creative God who made wonderful things

out of nothing. So remember this. The Lord will help

us to be creative. The Lord will help us to innovate.

The Lord will give us new radical ideas to get

this job done. Because he really has said right from

the very start, he will come again one day to

judge the living, and the day he will return to

this earth as promised one day. And when he comes back,

no longer will he just remain the savior of the world.

He will come back as a judge. And so right

now our job, our responsibility, is to tell the whole

world that Jesus is our savior and all of us

stand a chance to be safe from our sins by

the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is our role, that is our.

Responsibility, and we've got to do this, and we are

constantly thinking, how do we do it?

How do we engage? Not everyone from different walks of.

Life choose us to be a little bit different in

the way in which we express ourself and our identity.

I pray the Lord is going to give us that

creativity to be able to do things that has never

been done before if it gets the job done, as

long as we never compromise on the truth. Let's be radical,

let's believe. Let's be history makers. You know, sometimes now,

the things that we are going to have to do,

there's no reference. Sometimes we always feel that the only

way or the only people that can do this is

no reaching the missionaries from the west, because they are

the ones that brought the Gospel to the furthest ends

of the earth. No, they were bold enough, they went

to different places, and we feel that we are not

able to do the same.

No, all of us.

Our reference is the Lord Jesus Christ, which means that

all of us have the opportunity, have the ability to

be able to bring about this knowledge of God to

wherever the Lord is placing us.

Amen.

So let's be history makers. Let's be the reference. Let's

not just refer to others. We can be the reference.

An starts with you making a difference wherever you are at.

Trust me, it goes a long way. Don't plan forward

by looking backward what we have been used to, what

we are comfortable with. You know sometimes we read a

lot of things. No, read a lot of references. No,

look forward. The scripture that I want to highlight to

us is taken from Philippines, chapter three, verses twelve to sixteen,

and it says this, Okay, it's in your book if

you have your booklets is there. If not, it's also

going to be on the screen. And I'm going to

read from the NLT. What you see is from the NKJV.

But in the NLT it says this. I don't mean

to say, and this is Paul talking. I don't mean

to say that I have already achieved these things, or

that I have already reached perfection. But I press on

to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No,

dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it. But

I focus on this one thing forgetting the past and

looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to

reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly

prize for which God, True Christ Jesus is calling us.

Let all who.

Are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree

on some point, I believe God will make it plain

to you. But we must hold on to the progress

we have already made.

Amen.

You know, Paul puts in a very delightful way here

in Philippines. And I'm going to teach a little bit

just on this scripture is not in your notes, but

I hope to be able to help you see something clearer. Okay,

Paul is actually sharing a little bit about his own.

Journey with Jesus.

You know, Paul was actually admitting that Jesus chased after me.

Jesus ran after me.

Jesus came all the way to lay his hands on

me and to possess me. And he must have done

it for a purpose. Why in the world would Jesus

go through all this jesz to get hold of me.

He must have done it for something. And therefore, if

you understand that Jesus did it for a purpose, therefore,

even my ambition is to chase after Jesus like how

he chased after me. We need to understand that we

are called to press on to possess Jesus. That is

what Paul is actually saying. We are to press on

to take hold of him. Do you see how Paul

is responding. He says, I'm responding this way because that

was how Jesus first responded to me. And so ask

yourself why Jesus got hold of you? Why why did

he stop you in your tracks as he did? Why

did he confront you with hi himself? And then finally

one day we surrendered and say Lord, you are gone

and you take over. What purpose did he have in mind?

Ever?

Ask yourself why you are safe? Or ask yourself know

this whole salvation? What was it about? Is it just

to get you into heaven? Do you think Jesus saved

you so that you can go to heaven only? I

don't think so. I believe he did it because he

had something for you here on earth as well.

So remember this.

It is not just that he gave you a ticket

and say no someday, I'm saving you. Right now, when

you die, you go straight to heaven. It's not just

merely for that. I know we can't use that. We

will have a room and a mansion depending on what

we do here on earth, how big the mansion is.

But is it just because we have got a place

ready for us.

I believe that is only the latter.

Part of the good news, the later part of the gospel,

because the gospel.

Actually begins immediately.

If you think about it, the good news is not

just the good news that one day we will go

to heaven. That is the latter part of the good news,

because you can live the good news immediately. He put

his hands on us so that we could start living

now and have eternal life now right now, when we

say we believe in you, Lord, thank you for saving

me from my sins, so that we can start living

for him right now.

That is the very reason why he took whole of.

Us, and that is the very reason why we also

need to take hold of him. Because if you understand Paul,

and Paul in his earlier life, when he was still

known as Saul, was a persecutor of Christians. He went around,

he caught Christians, he called them out, he got them flogged,

he persecuted them. He put his hands on all those Christians.

That was what he did.

Actually, the scripture, the words that are being used are

quite similar.

He chased after the Christians.

Once upon a time, he captured them, and he makes

sure that they got tortured. So the language is the

same about Christ running after us and capturing us, because

ultimately what he's declaring is this, once upon a time

I used to run around grabbing Christians. Then the Lord

came grabbing me. And the only difference now is that

he's running after a different target. No longer is he

running around Paul A Saul running around trying to persecure Christians,

because he now has been gotten whole by of God.

God. God.

Whole of Saul cause him to turn blind for a moment,

and then when the skills drop, he could see, and

he saw with clarity the vision that the Lord has

put in his life. And then he realized, I should

stop going around getting whold of Christians and trying to

put them in prison. My goal right now is to

get whold of Christ and put Christ in me. That

is what Paul was after, and that's why when you

read his letters you realize that his ambition was made clear.

He kept saying that I'm running who is it I'm

running after? And that's why he can come up with

statements like to live is Christ and to die is gain.

You can't tell that he is a man of ambition,

and a man of ambition usually has got two marks.

The first thing is concentration, very very important for us

to take note. And the second thing is determination. I

want to highlight some of these things. Again, it's not

in your notes, but as you're hearing what I have

to say, I hope it brings and he helps to

draw line into all that we are sharing today.

Concentration is this. Paul was fully focused.

Basically, he cuts out everything that is deemed irrelevant to

his goal. He strips them off, and all of his

life is actually geared towards this ambition that he has.

He was a single minded person. Some of you are

ma think single minded means he's a goal blog he's

dumb because only one thing is no, okay, only process

one thing and no. Single minded just means that he

was focused, absolutely laser focused to what he had to

do and to do that.

You know what else.

You need to do to be single minded and focused

is something called forgetting.

Forgetting, That's what the scripture is talking about.

You see, one of the reasons why we are not

concentrated in our living is that we remember the past

too much. And you can remember your past failures on

one hand, you can remember your past successes on the other,

and both of them will confuse your concentration.

That is the reality of it.

Anybody looking back loses your concentration. And so you know,

in the old days when they used to plow the land,

they plow it with animals, either oxen or horses.

And how they do it is they have to focus.

They have to choose something to focus on and make

sure that they're moving towards the focus. It could be

a tree, it could be a scarecrow, I don't know,

whatever it is.

That's how they used to plow.

It's not modern plantation nowadays, when you have machineries to

do things like that. Back then, say, Rosie is my

focus right now, and I'm looking at Rosie who is

sitted right behind, and then I'm plowing the meaning you

take your eyes off that very one thing that you

are supposed to be looking at.

You start plowing.

You realize before you know, you're plowing in crooked lines.

You look back and you realize, hey, sharks, the whole

plantation it looks it will look You look and that's

the reality of it.

It will look zig zac.

And so concentration demands that you forget the things that

are behind. And you may have some have had some

terrible failures as a believer, all of us have had

in our Christian work, in our race, in this Christian life.

You may have made some terrible mistakes. Forget them, because

God has as soon as you have mentioned it to God,

and you say, Lord, forgive me my shortcomings, as I

forgive the shortcomings of others as well. As soon as

you have mentioned it to him, and you forgive others,

God has forgiven you and forgotten your past.

You know how powerful that is.

But years sometimes we find it the most difficult thing

to do, not just forgetting the past mistakes, but forgetting

the successes to those things that did well.

Forget them as well.

Or else you will live in them and you will

rest on them. So really, sometimes we just need to

let go of the past achievements as well. What is

done is done. All glory belongs to God ultimately, you know.

Imagine if you are running a race, and if you

are a runner, I don't know, a marathon runner or

maybe a slightly long distance runner. Five thousand meters ten

thousand meters. If you keep on looking backwards to all

the milestones that you have ran, you will lose time

and you will lose focus. But what they are always

doing is they're keeping their eyes actually focused on the

finishing line.

A heat look for so even your past successes.

And that's why Paul is someone who can write in

other places, in other letters, he's saying that even my righteousness,

Lord counts for nothing their ranks. You know, sometimes we

sing our praises too much. We think that we are righteous,

but nothing right that we have done to have caused

us to deserve to be safe. We are saved ultimately

by God's grace and his mercy, and dead alone. And

so this is what we need to remember. Forget everything

that lays behind, and keep going for the goal. That

was what Paul was doing, and he wants us to

do the same thing.

Amen.

The second thing is this Paul was so determined. So

not just concentration, but he was very determined. You know,

every muscle, every sinew in his body was stretched. And

you can try to imagine that. Sometimes I imagine, actually

I don't. I go to the gym and I watch

the two girls training. It's hard work. It's a lot

of effort. They have to stretch first, they have to

push their limits. They have to keep breaking personal boundaries.

You know, that's before them. Everything is tends up. They're sweating,

they're straining every nerve until you feel that Sometimes I

don't know whether they're going they will.

Collapse or you know, but they keep going. They keep going.

Basically, Paul is helping us see the picture of an athlete,

and all of us, I don't care no matter how

unhealthy we are. We are called to be athletes for Christ,

and that means that we need to be disciplined.

I know, I know sometimes well, but it's so hard.

I know it's hard.

That's why the leven, the discipline that we were talking about,

the leaven is needed. We need to make ourselves wake

up earlier to do our quiet time with the loan.

We need to make sure that we keep ourselves healthy

so that we can serve the Lord in the long run.

You know, that is what an athlete does. We keep going,

we keep pushing. And God called Paul to a life

that was much higher than the life that he was living.

And Paul knew that he had to run for it.

He knew that he would not have it in this

world until he went all out for it. And so

Paul was saying that he is flat out all the

way to the finishing line. That is what we do

as athletes. We go flat out all the way, give

our best to God and only our best.

And I tell you what is the mark of a

matured believer.

The mark of a matured believer, The mark that truly

shows that we are growing as a Christian is actually

this satisfaction that means we are dissatisfied. We want we

see right now. It is actually the mark of a

true athlete as well. And athlete is never one that says, oh,

and I don't think my hand. I will say, okay,

I think I hit the tay and I'll stop. I'll

stop here. No, because the fact is they're dissatisfied. They

want to keep breaking the boundaries. They want to keep

breaking their personal best. You know, they want to break

the personal best or the best in the next week category,

the next higher category.

That is what athletes do every effort.

As they get nearer to the goal, the more they

will say that is not good enough. I'm going to

try even harder, and how true it is of Christians,

because the more you have progressed and the more mature

you are, the more you will say, and not just say,

but believe, I still have a long way to go.

I have not arrived yet.

You see, many times, no in our Christian journey, in

our Christian world, the meaning we get safe, we think

that I've arrived when essentially we have only just started

our journey. Don't succumb to the whole idea that I

have already arrived at the start of the very journey.

Remind yourself that we still have a long way to go,

and we need to go on and do it well.

And we can only do that if we are focused

and concentrated. We can only do that when we are

fully determined to do that. We can only do that

well if we are dissatisfied and where we are at,

so that we can keep striving to ultimately try for God.

Amen.

That is what Philippines chapter three is essentially telling us.

And I want to encourage us to have that in mind.

And so you know, as a church, we are not

here to tell you how to run your entire business,

how to run your entire life, but we want to

tell you how you should run God's business, how you

should do it, at least in his house.

He's in the mirror family.

You know, here in church, what we bring and what

we offer up, just like in the past. You know,

they used to bring to the storehouses a portion of

their first fruit, a portion of their belonging the ten percent.

They bring it to the storehouse, they bring it to

the priest, and it is a priest that administers this

portion the ninety percent. You all have to continue to

discipline yourself to do what is right in God's eyes.

But as a church, and the church is really a

place not just for prayer. Yes, it is the house

of God and the house of prayer for the nations,

but the church is also a place of discipleship. And

so we are here together to administer discipleship together. That

is what the church is doing, and that's what we

are going to really be focusing on from here on.

Laser focus is what we need to do.

And so how.

Can we be successful in fulfilling this vision? We will

be if we make disciples. We have to make disciples.

All of us can make disciples because it is a

mandate that is given to every single believer go there

for and make disciples of every nation, tongue, and tribe.

So all of us need to follow Christ so that

others can follow us.

That is how we continue to grow the church. That

is how.

Discipleship takes place. And here in X we've been talking

about doing it, doing it in smaller groups, and that's

going to be okay.

I want us to know.

You know, sometimes we feel how to grow and we

are small, but we deliberately made ourselves small. We were

once upon a time one big church in one location,

but today we are small churches in many different locations.

And I tell you what the difference is. We get

to reach out to more people, We get to disciple

more people.

We get to see.

More leaders being raised up to lead different church plans.

We get to hear different preachers raised up so that

more will have the courage to speak and to preach

and to.

Teach God's word.

Small is what the Lord has given us because small

and by being small, we are able to involve all.

And ultimately, I want you to know, ultimately we are

still big because when we come back together from time

to time to celebrate, like our anniversary, everyone coming back

from all the different continents, from all different parts of

the Klang Valley, congregating. That is who we are and

how the Lord has been growing us as a church.

And so we want us to remember small. Don't have

to think so big. Sunless you are thinking, oh, how

do I achieve success with this vision? No, I need

a church of thousands of people in one location. Norm

start with your cell groups, start with your homes, Start

with your small groups in your office place, you know,

start with praying with someone in your campuses. There is

so many things in which you can actually initiate small

and I want to encourage us to do that, don't

you know? Some of you may travel, some of you

may not have permanent work in one particular location. Ask

the Lord for creativity and how I can be effective,

because I believe no matter how much you travel, you

will still see people on a regular basis. Sometimes you

will see saying people on a regular basis. Many of

them don't know who Jesus is. Pray for an opportunity

and pray for creativity on how to engage them. You know,

you could be constantly flying and I don't know, maybe

you're seeing or you're purchasing your tickets from the same place.

You're seeing the same stewards. I don't know, think of something,

ask the Lord, Lord, show me what needs to be done,

and then we need to plant churches on every street. Again,

we don't just plant churches per se, because sometimes when

we say plant churches, we are like, wow, we need

to do our due diligions. We need to go and

make sure that we have got enough resources. When we

talk about planting churches, we are essentially talking about planting disciples,

planting people who believe, because it is the disciple that

builds the church. It is the disciples that make up

the church. And so when we plan disciples, ultimately what

we're doing is we are producing leaders. So as we

are discipling others, what we can do is ultimately put

them where the Lord is wanting them to be and

see them rise up as leaders thereafter. So when we

plan a disciple, a church comes forth, a community is

then blessed, and the nation is changed. That is how

the Lord has been showing it to us all this war.

If X is your family, if you are part of

this church, it doesn't matter whatever past mistakes you have made.

It actually also doesn't matter the present mistakes that you

are making right now, repent. God has always given us

the opportunity to repent and to say, Lord, I want

to turn it around. And Lord, there is still so

much a hete of us. There is still so many

who have yet to know you. And how do we

see this vision of the glory of God being made

known to the whole white world. Well, it starts with

me reaching someone, one person at a time, you know,

Jesus says, and he reminds us. With men it is impossible,

but with God, all things are possible. And he says,

follow me, and I will make you fishes of men.

God is going to enable us. And you know, what

is it that we really need? And this was a

reminder to all of us as Fastor was sharing as well,

because he's saying he told us this. Look, whenever you

want to go fishing, you need to have bait, bait,

you know, something to load it all in.

And God did not leave us alone as fishermen. He didn't.

He didn't say, oh, I will make you fishes of men,

or are your chow.

Uh, you're on your own right now. No, Actually, it

says I have to live, but after I leave I

will leave behind with you the Holy Spirit. You know

what the bait is is the power of God in

our lives. Is the power of God manifests in our lives.

It's called the supernatural. It's called the anointing. It's called

the signs and wonders and the miracles. It's called the

healings and the deliverance. And that's why in the Gospel

of Mankin says that signs and wonders actually follows the

preaching of the world.

Imagine that. Imagine that with me.

And that's why whatever that you're doing, if you're just

praying for someone, believe that God can do a wonderful

miracle in that person's life. Because ultimately, how we end

the Lord's prayer is for yours is the Kingdom, the power,

and the glory forever and ever. You see, the Kingdom

comes first, but then God gives us the power and

it all goes back to God for his glory.

Yours is the Kingdom. Well, how the Kingdom comes.

The Kingdom will come when the power of God is

made manifest in the lives of every believer. The Kingdom

of God is already here. It arrives when Jesus came

into this world and established his reign here on earth.

Even though we still acknowledge and we still know that

it is the prince of this world is still the devil,

and the scriptures affirms that. But yet the Kingdom of

Heaven has already arrived, is not fully completed, but it

has a arrived, which means that we are able to

experience God's kingdom here on earth, which means that we

are able to experience a little bit of heaven here

on earth. Right now, have Heaven manifested in and through

your ministry by being dependent on the Holy Spirit. And

I tell you what, that is going to be one

of the very most powerful things that will help people

see and acknowledge that God is truly who he is.

Where would everything go back to? Well, ultimately the glory

goes back to God.

Amen.

And so the issue has all's been this that we

lack confidence?

And how do you feel? You know? Sometimes you know

when you hear the testimony.

One of the reasons why we have testimonies about what

God is doing in the lives of different ones is

to actually encourage us to give us the confidence that

a prayer works. Do you know I'm being involved in

the hour of prayer for too long. Now every Tuesday,

you know, we take time or weather. There are many

people who participates, a few people that participate. We will

still be there, ever, ready to pray for different ones.

And every week without feel there are people who will

come in and share their different prayer is. And as

we pray, we are praying by faith because the Lord

again reminds us that faith as small as a master's

seed can move mountains.

So it's not so much how big our faith is.

Sometimes we are only wanting to wait until we have

big faith, then we will start praying.

But that's not how God works.

God is saying that if you have little faith, exercise

that faith, because small faith can do wonderful things. Small

faith can do big things that in itself is the miracle,

that in itself is the wonder And that's why when

sometimes we hear a testimony of God's healing, you know

it's not you. You know, it's not even the person who

has pray. You know, it's God that has made all

things possible. But it is initiated through our obedience in

exercising little faith. So many times I know we all

have this lack of confidence in us. Sometimes when we pray,

it's like I don't know what anything is going to happen.

You know, when we call you out for prayer, sometimes

we don't even come because we don't know if there's

going to be any change in our lives. But I

want you to remember and realize this God is working

in our lives. We just need to be faithful and obedient,

exercise the little faith that you have and see Him

work and see Him do wonderful miracles in us. You know,

sometimes we struggle in ministry because we lack the confidence,

and confidence usually comes from results, because we are one

thing to see results before we think we can do it.

And that is one of the reasons why we are

saying and that's why and the reasons why we have testimonies,

because testimonies are out there to show us that it

can be done, and God wants to do it in

and through each and every one of us.

Amen.

And so I pray that the confidence of the Lord

will be upon each and every one of us. That means,

don't think that I don't have the words. I stutter

when I pray. I'm always struggling with words, you know,

do you think God only hears those with tremendous, immense vocabulary.

I don't think so.

He hears those who will exercise their little faith and

see wonderful things come to pass. You see, confidence is

something that's very, very important. And so you know, as

you look at the table, and there's a table in

your notebook, okay, and I think there's a table here

as well, it says this conviction comes with revival.

And you know what our team for this year is revival.

When we are revived in our hearts, then we will

be convicted to do what is right. Because essentially this

is the position that we are in today. The position

that we are in today is we have the chance

to do what is right. Once upon a time we

had no chance to do what is right because once

upon a time, before we knew who God was, all

of us were condemned, all of us tand no chance.

We stood no chance in knowing who He is. But

when we put our faith and our hope in Christ Jesus,

what happens is his righteousness is clothed upon us. That

is what is called as the imputation of righteousness. And

then the impartation of righteousness also takes place. Basically, God's

righteousness is what convicts our heart now and it comes

when we are revived conviction. And then it goes on

to say this clarity comes with revelation. You know, until

it is revealed, we will not be clear as to

what we are supposed to do. That is why we

endeavored to bring the whole church through this whole unpacking

the Vision series, because we wanted to bring the revelation

of God's word to his church. This is what we

are supposed to do. This is our responsibility.

Now. No one can say I don't know what ex

church believes in.

I think we just come here every sent day, clap hands,

go back, and that's it. No, there's more to it

than that. Clarity comes with revelation, and the revelation is this. Ultimately,

we want to see the glory of our Lord Jesus

Christ made known throughout this earth as the waters covers

the sea.

Amen.

And then confidence comes with results, salvations, healings, signs, and wonders.

You know, results don't just happens, It happens when we saw.

Because what you saw ultimately is what you will reap.

And that is why we keep encouraging us. You know

how you want to build your confidence, You start by

doing it one step at the time. You know, I

don't know whether for Mayra and Hannah they straight away

we're confident that they could do what they are doing

right now in terms of powerlifting, But it started with

someone putting and encouraging them and say that, try one

step at the time, one live at the time, try

a life, wait first, and then slowly it helps to

build their confidence as they realize I am able to

lift this, and then they will determined to keep on going,

to keep on pushing themselves.

That is so important.

And then it goes on to say courage comes with resolve,

conquer comes with reliance, celebration comes with reward, and so

confident leaders, confident leaders, well, remember this, conviction always leads

to clarity. When we are convinced in our hearts, we

are clear in our heads. If you are convinced that

this is the right thing to do, then you are

not clouded in your head. You know where you are

supposed to hate too. You know the direction that we

are all going. You know what we are supposed to do.

Clarity then leads to confidence. Confidence will give you courage.

Courage will then cause you to be able to take

ground for the Lord to be able to conquer. And ultimately,

whenever we conquer one at the time when we conquer,

it always leads to celebration. You know, the day when

you conquer sin was the day in which you celebrated,

and you rejoice because you know no longer am I

now a slave to sin. Now I am set free.

And I know for some of us we are still

along this journey. But you know what God wants to

set us free from sin as well. He doesn't want

us to remain slave to sin. He wants you to

conquer so that ultimately you will celebrate him.

Amen.

One John five, verse fourteen says, Now, this is the

confidence that we have in him, that if we ask

anything according to his will, he hears us. And so

let us know what God's will is. Knowing God's will

is what will give us confidence. And God's will, I

assure you, is that everyone will come to know who

he is, that all may know that is what he

wants us to do. We don't have confidence because of

the lack of results, but let's pray that the results

will come as we begin to sow one step at

the time. Pre Believers struggle with conviction. That means, before

you believe, once upon a time, all of us did

not believe in Jesus, and therefore we will not convince

as to what we are doing is right or wrong.

But when you start believing, God is not gray, God

is not arbitrary. He is certain, and He is either

going to tell you this is right or this is wrong.

Pre Believe us struggle with conviction. Believe us, on the

other hand, struggle with confidence confidence, and so I want

to encourage believer us try God one at the time.

That's why we encourage you to come for prayer service,

because when you hear the testimonies, you be encouraged. And

then as you are praying for different needs, as you're

praying for different ones, as you're praying even for yourself

corporately or individually, you see God move and work wonderful miracles.

You know, I've been praying I've got some stones in

my kidney. It's been with me for many years. John

sells drugs, and that's why he's like, let me get

rid of it for you by selling you some drugs.

But the reality is, you know, on my knees. Every

day I'm praying and I'm declaring God, I believe that

this thing that has been in me for the past

ten years, I want to believe that it will diminish

and disappear.

You know, two weeks ago, I went for my annual checkup.

Every year I would check, because there was checked to

see if he's still there, is it growing? If it's

growing means I know my sodium content is very, very high.

And so this doctor, you know, he opens the results

and he's like, he he's gone, ready now. So of

course I was like, HALLI Louiah praised a lot, all

those prayers. No, Lord, every day I've been praying for

the past ten years, He's gone. Then, so I again

I took it as me off, maybe little fay, because

because he's been there for such a long time, I

kept asking him, are you sure it's still there? Are

you sure he's still there? And there he was, checking

all the reports, checking all the reports, and then.

After he's like, oh, no, she is still there.

They're like so honestly, the first thing that came to

my mind is maybe he really wasn't there, and my

doubt made it come out.

I okay, but of course.

He So I did rejoice momentarily, and then he did

tell me after he says it's it's there, but he's

getting smaller, and I still rejoice. And I told myself,

you know, next year, when I come out, I'm just

gonna believe he's gone. And he tells me it's gone.

I'm just gonna take the report and go home. Ah.

But you see, it takes. It's about building confidence. We

believer us. Sometimes we struggle with the confidence, even in

our own prayers. So I want to encourage us, believe

us be confident in the Lord. Leaders struggle with courage.

But I pray that the Lord is the one that

is going to make us strong and courageous. And that's

why Joshua continue to conquer lends, because the Lord made

him strong and courageous.

We are not alone.

We are in this together, leaders, partners, we are all

in this together. And thank God that He has given

us his Holy Spirit. We are not alone. We have

the Holy Spirit with us. And so that's why in Zacharia,

he says, not by not by power, but by my spirit,

says the Lord. Luke chapter eleven, he says that if

a human asks for something from his parent. You know

the parent will give the best to their human child.

What more, those who actually ask God for the Holy Spirit,

you think God is going to hold something good from

your life. No, And so I pray that we will

desire more of the Holy Spirit. Because I tell you why,

I believe with all my heart that our daily break

is the Holy Spirit. Daily you wake up say good morning,

Holy Spirit, thank you for being so real in my life.

And I pray and I acknowledge that nothing I have

done to deserve the Holy Spirit in my life. You see,

the Holy Spirit, whether it's the gift of the Holy

Spirit that is the Holy Spirit in our lives, or

the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are all grace gifts.

That means you did not do anything to deserve the

Holy Spirit. Neither did you do anything to deserve the

gifts and the gift things that the Holy Spirit empowers

us with. It is not by our merriage. It is

ultimately because of His mercy. His mercy and his grace

is what it is why we we have the Holy

Spirit in our lives. And so we just need to

be grateful and desire for the Holy Spirit in our lives. Lord,

we need the Holy Spirit daily. Ask for the Holy Spirit.

That will be your daily break to keep you going.

Because the Holy Spirit with us, we will know what

to say, we will have the confidence to say, and

we will be able to see this vision come to pass.

Amen.

Amen, you know there's some scriptural reference here and continue.

Go ahead, read it, Luke, Chapter four, eighteen to nineteen.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he

has anointed me to push the Gospel to the poor.

He has sent me to heal the broken heart, to

proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to

the blind, to set at liberty those who are prayers,

to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. This is

what Jesus pronounced right before he started his ministry.

Think about it.

He was making reference to the Book of Isaiah, that's

where this scripture comes from, and he's saying that the

Spirit of the Lord is upon me. You think Jesus

needed the Holy Spirit, which of course they're all one,

but Jesus needed the Holy Spirit in him as well

when he was walking this earth. Do you think we

don't need the Holy Spirit. I'm telling you we need

the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is our daily brain.

And so let's continue to prophesy, because when the Holy

Spirit is with us and in us, we will continue

to prophesy First Corinthians. He says this, but if all

prophesy and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in,

he is convinced by all. He is convicted by all,

and thus the secrets of his hearts are revealed, and

so falling down on his face, he will worship God

and report that God is truly among you. Even in prophesying,

an unbeliever can be safe. You know, Prophesying is a

very very powerful thing. Prophesying is the work of the

Holy Spirit. Let us continue to prophesy life. Let us

continue to prophesy hope. Let us continue to prophesize salvation.

Let us not go and say I don't think all

will know because it's such a big task.

Not this whole world will not be able to know Jesus.

But you know, the scripture says it's only when the

world knows Jesus that he will written. And if you

don't want him to tarry, that we need to fulfill

our part prophesy, hope, prophesize salvation. Prophesied that indeed all

may know whether all respond. That is not your job,

that is not my job. But we need to prophesy

who God is to this world. They need to hear

the words of the Lord, because there will come, and

there already is a femine in the land. And this

is a femine of God's words. It's in Amos. The

Old Testament has prepared us for this. Let ex church

never be a place where the femine of the Word

is happening. Let Us always be a church that is prophetic.

Let us always be a word that preaches God's word.

Let us always be a church that declares God's word,

because not just by paying it lip service, but the

fact that we are leaving his word out. That is

what we are called to do, to live in the

now and to live.

Out His word. Amen. So whatever we have shared is

the vision.

You can see it, you can imagine it, you can

think about it. Now I pray that you will speak it.

Vision comes first, proclamation comes thereafter. Vision comes first. Declaration

comes thereafter. Now, start to talk about it, start to preach,

start to declaretar to suggest, start to proclaim, talk about it.

Don't talk about it negatively. Talk about it with hope.

You may be a campus student, if you're doing small

groups in your campuses, and it may be just so small. Sometimes,

continue to believe that as the word of God is

being declared and prophesied, knowledge and wisdom will come upon

more and more people, and ultimately we will see that

God's vision can eventually come to pass.

What shall we begin with.

Let's begin with this purpose every day prophesy our purpose

to the Lord. That means, tell God, God, I know

very clearly what I'm supposed to do. I want to

continue to go ahead. I want to be able to

understand what your priorities are for me, because your kingdom

will come and your will will be done, and we

are just the conduits of that happening. I'm going to

invite the band. I'm done. We are not alone. We

need God's power. So continue to hang on to God's

power in our lives. We need God's diet, we need

his daily break, we need to continue tiding, and we

need the leaven. Prophesy God's blessing. Don't prophesy failure. Don't

think that I am not able to do this. No,

it's all this is so lofty. No, we can do it.

Praise him. As you continue to praise him, I assure

you he will inhabit the praises of his people. You

want more of God in your life, learn to praise him,

learn to give thanks to Him more. And then keep

passing this on, keep passing it on, keep passing it on,

because God is going to do a wonderful thing in

this church. True, every one of the bad partners who

put their hands to the plow.

Amen.

You know, sometimes we wonder as one church, where we

are at what can we possibly do? And I want

you to know, and I want to just teach, very

very quickly. Give me five minutes to teach on this

leaven eleven in relation to the Kingdom of God. What

can we do to make it count? You see, a

bit of leaven sprays right through the door, right, just

a little bit, a little bit of year sprays right

through the door.

And this is some truths.

If you study the scriptures, these are some truth that

Jesus has taught us. First truth is this, the Kingdom

of God comes to our earth from outside the earth.

It didn't start from inside. It has come here. It

has been put into our society. It doesn't spring from

mankind because no human can build the Kingdom of God.

That is the reality of it. It is beyond our

human capacity to do so. We cannot build Heaven, we

cannot build the new Earth. We have tried again and

again to create a new world for our children, but

the reality is we can't do it.

It has come from outside.

You see, the Kingdom of God has been put in

as like the seed of a mustard is put into

the soil, and as the years has been put into

the door.

That is what the Kingdom of God. That is what

the leaven is.

You see, when Jesus came to our planet, the Kingdom

of God was being planted into our society, put in.

The soil, put in the door. That is what happened.

And so the Kingdom of God works from the inside,

and that is why it is largely unnoticed. You see,

when you put a seed in the ground, you don't

go and then sit down in the ground and wait

for it to grow, because it takes forever sometimes I

mean not forever, but it won't be something that's immediately.

You don't see it immediately because growth is slow and

no one will just be there e waiting for it.

I never seen anyone standing and watching a plant grow.

They may notice it gets a little bit bigger, a

little bit bigger, But it's not a sensational thing. It's

not straight a boom bam. But sometimes we operate only

when things are sensational. But when you do, the Kingdom

of God works inside. The seed is working in the soul,

the yeast is working in the door, invisibly working inside.

But nevertheless, the potential is enormous. Nothing we can do

to stop or arrest is development. The third thing is

this Christianity. You can't stop from spreading, even if you

are the most aloof and I don't care about anything

I'm telling you, you can't stop it from spreading, just

like you can't stop the sun from rising.

And the fourth thing is this.

The spray may not be very spectacular, and that's the

reality of it. No one will stop and look. But

every now and again you may notice that something has changed.

But it's almost so imperceptible to the world that it

is always longing for sensation. See, the world is always

longing for hype. We want success, We want people to

give their lives to Jesus in the drones. Sometimes when

we don't see it, we think is not happening. Sometimes

we look at people who can bend spoons and we

are more attracted to that than a change life. That

is the reality. No people will go and watch someone levitate,

but they will never go and watch someone preach the gospel.

Because the world is looking.

For sensation, does not realize the Kingdom of God is growing.

They don't notice it. They don't want to notice it.

But lives are being changed. I assure you the world

is not interested and doesn't notice because it is like

a seed that is growing. It is like the yeast

that is inside the door ef The beginning was a

handful of men, and once upon a time Jesus walked

along the river or the sea of Galilee, and he

called a handful of no bodies that became somebody who

turned this world right side up.

That's what Jesus did. Today.

It is a multitude, a huge number, and finance this.

One day the kingdom will be complete. You see the yeast.

When elevens elevens the whole lump of dough, the master

seed will grow and it will keep on growing until

it becomes the biggest, most glorious tree, bearing the most

fruit The Kingdom of God will go on growing and

spreading until God has everybody he wants in it, until

people from every kindred tribe tang are sitting down in

the kingdom, until the nations have come from the east, west,

north and south and have sat with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob

and all the prophets. I believe in that with all

my heart. It will happen. Do you find that exciting?

Because I do. It is great to know that this

is the only kingdom that is like this. Of course,

it is not spectacular as things that are happening around

this world.

No.

Sometimes revolutions and parties overthrowing one party after the other

is what excites us. But I tell you this, political

parties will come to pass, it will be forgotten. All

these things were. Eventually, revolutions will vanish. But I tell

you this, the Kingdom of God will remain. So the

question for us ex church, is this are we going

to be a part of it?
