It was so plain boring because you know I did

slice many many years ago. I stopped doing all these

presentations and I was like really fumbling over it. So

I managed to put something together. It was so plain.

Then XTV contacted me and said, no, Elder Mabel, this

won't do. You need to change something, you know. So

I didn't have the time, so I gave it to

my daughter Alana. I said, Alana, can you help me?

Can you please just change it to the version that

x TV needs it and give it back to me.

You know what she did. She changed everything, She changed everything,

and this is what she did for me. So praise God. Okay.

So here, he says, O, Lord, I have okay.

Before I read the message, I wonder talk to you

about who praised his prayer. Uh. This is a prophet.

His name is Habakuk. A smaller prophet, not a very

famous or a well spoken prophet.

He's a smaller prophet.

But yet he prayed, and God answered, and God speaks

to him, and today this is his prayer. He said,

Oh Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid.

Oh Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years,

and in the midst of the years, make it known.

So what does it mean? So I'm going to go

into a little bit of that. Okay. During the time

of this prophet, it was it was a very dark

and troubled time.

Okay, it was a very like today. We are living

in a very troubled time. And the Bible says that

we live in a in a worse time than these guys,

in a worst time.

And in the last.

Days, things will be even worse than sodom and go mora.

Can you imagine even worse than sodom and go moral?

The days of Noah, it'll be even worse. And you

and I we see that from schools, to campus, to

to workplace, in the family, we see so many broken things,

so many broken families, so many broken lives.

Okay.

So it was like that for for habaku Ken, he's

crying out to the Lord Lord, heal the land, let

us see you, let hearts be revived. Let justice be everywhere.

And hey, and there was a spiritual decline. Okay, at

that time people were away from God. They were called

they were just not interested.

You know.

They come on a Sunday hear the message, go away,

not really, you know, no God, no God, no fear

of the Lord in them.

Do we have the fear of God in us? Wow?

You see the pressures we have to go through, and

your think it's so easy to come up here and

share the word.

hearts of the people. Do it again in our generation.

This generation need to hear the Lord Jesus. Whether you're young,

are you so certain that you'll be able to hear

you so sure? So today we're going to learn. We're

going to find out what God has for us. Okay, okay,

my take on our revival. Okay, growing up in when

we were like I think we were in our twenties,

maybe we were hearing about revivals our pastor where we

came from.

I came from a small church.

We were here in Acshony, I think more than what's

sixteen I don't know about sixteen years ago, but growing up,

we were from a small church. And then the church

pastor will always talk about revival and you'll always talk

about the White Ten revivals where hundreds and thousands of

people come, and you know, come for these revival.

Meetings and we will study how do we get there?

So I always thought, okay, this is all God.

I got no part to play in it. It's so big.

I can't even imagine. How do you know these revivals happen.

It's so big, it's so many people. How can one

person change anything? And then as I began to study,

you know, it only takes a spark to start a fire, right,

you know, it takes something small palm a fire comes on.

You know, it takes one person in our congregation or

two or three, and we are more than that.

We are all sparks.

We're all fires ready to burn for the Lord.

Okay, so we are all you know, you can start anywhere.

Revival can start anyway, but it has to start in us, us,

in every one of us. And as it starts with us,

then we can share with others. But if it doesn't

start with us, if we don't get revived, and how

are we.

Going to how are we going to move on? Okay, okay, what.

Do I do now? Now that I've heard that I

have a part to play? What do I do? God

responds to heart postures, heart postures?

What does it mean?

Heart postures? See, this is what she did. I don't

clothes and dance around and talk with your friends, because

that doesn't bring respect. And that is what I the

to look into other heart postures.

How do my heart react?

How can I make How can I live a life

that is that is that is meaningful, that is uh

that God takes note of you. Okay, so some of

all the time we thought we were healthy. We take

all our white means. I've been taking white means for

no problem, taking my vitamins, thinking everything is going to

be okay. And then I went for my medical checkup

and then the doctor tells me, maybe you have so

many things lacking in your body, so many vitamins lacking

in your body. I say, doctor, hold on a minute,

hold on a second. You know, I can show you

the thousands of dollars that I've spent buying vitamins. And

I've taken vitamins all my life. How can you say not?

Like my husband, I gave.

Him three bottles for three years.

Every time I ask him, he says, I have vitamins

in the office.

So you can imagine.

Three bottles three years. He has not run out of vitamins.

And he tells me, I take my vitamins every day,

and the three bottles has never run out.

You know, like.

That that that the jar of oil.

It just keeps refeeling. So the doctor said, you're lacking and.

You need to take vitamins. So I'm like, oh my word.

And that's exactly.

How it is. Today. We're going to check our posture.

We're gonna check what is lacking so that we can

do what's right to come back. If we have gone

far away, if we're forgotten, if we've taken our life easy,

if we have you know, not done right. You know

we've been complacent. We come to church, we go back.

There's no problem. I fulfilled my duty as a Christian.

I've done all I have to do. But today we're

going to check somethings. Okay, the first one I want

to check. Oh before that. Sorry I'm missing on all

my points. But let a man examined himself. I always

tell my homies before taking You know, it's in First

Corinthians eleven twenty eight where it says, examine yourself even

before you take the cup. Don't take it like nothing.

You know, you come, you take communion, you take the bread,

you take the drink, and like, no, no big deal.

You know, do you know that the Lord died on

the cross so we can have that covenant, we can

take communion. So don't take things slightly. Examine yourselves. Examine

yourself if you've done something wrong, if you need to repent,

if you need to go to somebody and say I'm sorry,

do that even.

Before you take communion. And if you have not done that,

don't take it.

Don't take communion because the Bible says when you do

things when you don't check yourself. Some are weak, some

are sick, Some have gone to sleep, meaning sleep means MATI.

You know if those are you know, really gone to

sleep for good? So examine yourself. And another scripture I

want to bring before you is some one three nine

twenty three, twenty four, and it says, search me, o Lord,

and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts.

At this I do all the time. And I just

sit before the Lord. And when I do my quiet time,

I always say, God, where have I gone wrong? Where

have I gone wrong? What am I doing? How do

I come back? You know, search my heart, o Lord,

that I do not sin against you.

I only live for the audience of one.

Whether I'm at home or I'm outside with all of you.

What you see me is what you will see in

the house. If I am pulling my husband's leg now

in front of all of you, that's what I do.

That's what we do all the time in the house.

That's how you keep your marriage alive and exciting. You

joke with one another. You don't be so serious. Some

marriages are just like, oh so serious. After getting married

for twenty years, twenty five, thirty years, oh gone, you

know you're so serious. Everyone is like, you can't take anything.

My husband and I've been married for thirty seven years.

We still pull each other's legs. We still joke about

each other, and you know, and it's fun. It can

have the crazy days, but it's.

Fun, okay.

So search your heart, examine yourself, continue to examine, don't

take anything for granted.

Okay.

So the first thing that we want to go and

one of the hard postures is hunger, hunger and thirst.

Blessed adults who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they

shall be feeled. This is a double it's a double.

God stresses it. Just not hunger, just not thirst, but

hunger and thirst. It's a double reminder saying, seek after righteousness,

seek after righteousness. So hunger, you know when extreme comes

every morning and they have to wake up really early

and come open up and come and set up everything,

even X sound x TV. I think they also come

very early on a Sunday morning to set up the place,

you know, and then we all just walk in, you know,

much later, but they come in, prepare the house, put

on the lights, you know, the air conditioned.

because you're called to do, you won't go anywhere. But

when you're hungry for the Lord, when when you are you.

You know you you you are going to bless somebody.

You know that that that what you do is going

to impact someone else. And you have a responsibility. You know,

you come here.

And you serve God.

And it's so good to see. That's why we say

the more the better.

Come.

Let us all serve the lot together. We are family,

we are united, we are one. We may be in

different places, different countries, we are still one ex church,

same mission, same vision. So don't grow cold. Let's serve together.

Let's serve the lot together. My next point is humility.

I'm not about finishing the slides actually, because I'm more

about wanting to talk to you, more about wanting you

to realize that there are things that you know that you.

And I can do. So we must not grow cold.

You know, whether we put on a coat or we

don't put on a code, we can all serve God.

You don't have to be called to serve God. You can. Yes,

when you're called, uh, it's it's it's it's different. But

even when you're not called, and yet you want to

come early and arrange the chairs, or maybe you want

to help set up, help hold the set up. You know,

do that you know if you don't want to, if

you just want to try it out, go to ex kids.

They always need help. Ask pastor Sarah. She always needs help.

help someone see who needs help?

Okay, okay, My next one is humility.

Humility, Pride resist revival, Humility invites God. When I want

to talk more about pride than than humility, okay, sometimes

you don't even realize that pride creeps in. Do you

know that you don't even realize that you become like

self confident, like I remember once some elder roads sheared,

you know she has all these masters certificates and sometimes

you know she's well to do. She's also very petty.

Uh you know, she looks good and it can sometimes

you can forget that. You can become proud a bit

because of what you have achieved, what you have and

and some of you, I know you do very well

in your marketplace, your bosses of your own companies. When

you walk in, they will say, good morning, sir, good

morning ma'am.

How are you doing.

You get all that respect and that acknowledgement. But you know,

you come to church and nobody you know, shakes your hand. Yeah,

the host does, but but you don't get the same

respect and say, hey, I want to be noticed in

church too. You have to be very careful that pride

doesn't come in. Pride says I don't need God. Pride

does not acknowledge God. Humility does. No matter how big

you are, how rich you. I remember once Pasted saying this.

He said, you know, if you're very rich and you

don't respect anybody, don't say you belong to ex church,

you know, don't say you belong to this church.

You know, I remember, and we used to laugh.

And when passa you all, he with jokes. He can

get a point across, and he can really make that sink.

You know, after these years, these many years, I can

remember all the things that he has taught me because

I took You know, when I feel sleepy, what.

I do is.

I don't always feel sleepy in church, but even very tired,

I always write. I always take notes. I never sit

down and fall asleep. Take notes. Why can't we take notes?

Why can't we take and write down what we've learned?

Take it back into your quiet time. That's what I do.

When when Elder Pengho preaches, Oh boy, the so much

of information.

I'll take it down.

I cannot, I cannot, I cannot remember some of it.

So I take it down.

I go into my quiet time and I and I

start to read it and say, Okay, this is what

he said. And then the Lord will expound on it,

and he will tell you more. He will tell you

more because you took the pain, You took the trouble

to write it down. You just didn't sit in your

chair and go to sleep because you were tired. You

took the trouble to write it down. And then you

take that back into your quiet time and you refer

to it, and God will bless you and and and

speak to you.

Okay, so don't.

Don't if you're feeling sleepy, if you're feeling tired, take notes. Okay,

why did I go to that anyway? Pride, pride, pride,

Be careful of pride, take note of it. God resists

the proud. He says that in the Bible. God resists

the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.

And I've seen a lot of proud people, a lot

of proud people. If you see that in you change.

It's not I don't say.

This to put you, put you or me down, because

I also see that weakness in me.

Sometimes.

I also see myself proud sometimes because I know this,

I know that, or I'm much older than everyone else.

I've been around longer, I've been a Christian longer, I

know more. Just because I keep quiet doesn't mean I

word revival. I can do that, darling, no problem, I

repentance broken before God. Do you know it's so good

to be when you come, when you're doing your quiet time,

to seek quietly and not to let me teach you

a secret. When you come into the presence of God

when you're doing alone time, sometimes it can be tough around.

It's very quiet, just you and God. Sometimes God is

also quiet and you are quiet. But but you can

sit there and just not say anything. Don't go on, Lord,

help my daughter, help my family, help my husband, help

my church. This, there's this. You don't have to tell

God everything, and God already knows that. Sometimes it's just

good to go into his presence and be very quiet,

and as you're very quiet and meditating on just thinking

about God, God will start speaking to you. Did Doesn't

the Bible say?

Wait?

Doesn't the Bible say those that wait on the Lord

shall renew their strength? So sometimes you know, I I

just go into my quiet time in the mornings and

I'll just sit there and not say a single word,

And not saying a single word tears well. Just roll

down my cheeks, just being grateful to God, just being

grateful for the things He's done in my life. Just

being grateful, you know, not to just quickly I need this,

I need this, I need this. You know I have

lack in this. You know I'm not well. You all,

my body is aching at sixty four. Your body's aching.

Tell you, I tell you it's it can be very,

very difficult. So you know, there's so much to tell God.

It's not that God doesn't know. Sometimes if you want

your prayer life to come up, you just have to

trust God to go into his presence and not say

a single word. Just trust God to be in his

presence and and just weigh upon him, and he will download.

He will tell you stuff that you don't know. And

you've walked out at that quiet time, so strengthened instead

of you going down and listening down ten things why

God should answer those press Okay, so yes, repentance, repentance.

I know I went a little bit different, but repentance

is very important when you've done something wrong in the day.

I don't know how many times I tell God, Lord, sorry, Yah,

I've done that. Sorry, Sorry, sorry, sorry, I'm sorry. I

shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have said that. You

don't have to go into your quiet time or into

your room to say God, i'm sorry. Where you are,

God is there with you. You can say Lord, i'm sorry.

You know God, I wasn't thinking. I said it too fast,

and I know it hurts somebody. I was gonna say

sorry to that person, I'm sorry. My husband and I especially,

he always says sorry to me.

Always.

I'm sorry, Love, I'm sorry, love, I'm sorry, love always.

How do you think that is seven years? We survived

because he's always saying sorry.

So that's good, right, see? We laugh. The joy of

the Lord is our strength. Honesty.

Okay, this light, honesty, integrity. Okay, hey Daniel, he did something, Daniel. Okay,

Okay. Last month, January, I want to tell you something.

I was doing some.

Work and then suddenly I heard the word integrity, integrity.

And then I stopped. I knew God spoke to me. Ah.

I got a little bit worried. I said, Lord, integrity,

what are you trying to tell me? Are you trying

to tell me something? You know, when God speaks, you know,

God speaks Suddenly even though it's noisy all around you,

even your heart like stops. Everything around you becomes a

little bit quiet. And God doesn't shout when he's talking

to you. He's very soft, he tells you, but very strong.

He just said integrity, and I got worried. I said, Lord,

where am I going wrong? Is it in my in

my in my uh? Is it in my business? Am

I not doing it right?

Am I not treating someone right? What? What is it? So?

I began to search you know, I told you exactly,

I mean search your heart. I searched my heart and

I said, okay, Lord, I will try and be careful, okay.

And that's the first time he said integrity. One week past,

again I heard the word integrity and I at this

time he got me worried. I was like, oh Lord,

I'm not sure I understand. I'm not sure I understand.

What are you trying to tell me? Why are you

telling me integrity?

Again? You all know what is integrity? Right?

And then he spoke to me the third time, integrity,

my daughter. This is my daughter Ashley. She's the one

that went through the operation. And you all prayed for her.

She works in Kazakhstan and she is in education in Kazakhstan.

So every time she will send me pictures and she

will tell me, Mom, this is what we did in school.

These are the things you know my my school.

She worked in an international very at that school, and

she sent me this picture. After God spoke to me twice.

Can you see what's on the picture? This the third

time God said integrity through this picture. So do you

think that God is trying to tell me something integrity?

So I quickly wrote to passes Hendra and even pass

the Kenneth. I said, I'm getting this word integrity again

and again. I just want them to tell me something,

but they didn't. So I was thinking, and then we

are going into revival. You know, we're speaking about revival.

But yet integrity came out. And as I was doing

this message, one of the postures is integrity.

So I praise God that I can talk about integrity today.

Integrity is doing the same thing what you won't do

in public. You won't shower, you want scold, you won't

use foul language. You will not do it in your

quiet time, in your quiet places where you are just

with your family, maybe what you would do outside as

simple as that. Integrity When you say, ah, friend, i'll

be there all depend I'll be there at twelve o'clock,

but come at twelve forty five, because twelve o'clock you're

still tying your shoelace. That is not integrity. Integrity is

you follow what you say. If you say you're gonna

be there at twelve, you be there eleven forty five

and waiting because you know you cannot come on time,

so you come at eleven forty five. That's integrity. Integrity

is always holding honor in your heart and being honest

wherever you are. Why God is talking about integrity to

all of you and to me, there must be a reason.

There must be a reason why God told me integrity

three times and send me a picture and I didn't

even notice the Can I see the picture again?

Please?

The one thing I don't want y'all to take away

is my slights and.

The pictures because there are words in it.

My face is not important, but those scriptures are important.

Because they bring live they bring changes in people.

You know, It's not about That's why I told Alana,

It's not about the pictures. And how beautiful. The slights

must be. But it's the words, the words that bring

life and changes to us. That's what's important, writer and

not church. So when she sent me this picture, I

didn't see the word integrity. I didn't see it. But

as I was looking, I don't know why. I looked

again and Sandy, So I told my husband, Hey, integrity

third time. So I knew that I needed to come

here and share with you about integrity.

Church. You know your life.

You know what you're doing in or quiet places, and

you know what you do outside when you're with people.

God is asking you to live a life of integrity.

We are the light of this world and people look

down on Christians. Why no integrity? We don't have integrity.

What we say we don't do. So let's change in

this area. Let's take note. The Holy Spirit is saying something.

God is saying something. Let's take note of it. We

hear it, we change. The moment we hear it, we change,

and that's how we get revival. As spark that will

turn into a big fire. We don't just want to

be a spark. God just didn't call us be a spark.

Be a spark, be a spark.

God called it. We are light. We are light of

this world, sort of this land.

So we need to show that we are Christians, that

we can go there and people can count on us.

If we don't have integrity, and people see our live

is an open book, right, we walk, we talk everything.

People are taking note of it. You don't realize, but

people are taking note of it, especially those who do

not know Christ, especially those who.

Are without hope.

They are like longing, you know who can come and

help us. But when they see that integrity in you,

when they see that honesty in you, they know that

they can come to you and you will help them.

love me, keep my commandments? Is it keeping his commandments?

What is keeping his commandments? Everything that God's word says.

If God's word says, don't lie, don't lie. I know

sometimes in works or if you meet a policeman, sometimes they.

Say no, no, no, no, no no. You try to

get out of it.

Even for me, sometimes it's tough to to, you know, sometimes.

To always speak the truth. But you have to. We

have to speak the truth all the time. And God

expects us.

You know, when we live for that audience of one,

God is watching you twenty four to seven. There is

no chance. So every time even when I'm like, you know,

you know, in my own time, you know, Elder Terans

goes to work I'm alone in the house and nobody

is watching me, but I know there is a presence

that follows me, and he's with me all the time.

So everything I say, everything I do, he's watching me.

And I have an accountability. I have to give an

account to the Lord. One day, I have to face

him face to face and give an account to the Lord.

So I pray that you will also, you know, in

in obedience, doing is doing what.

is prayer. If my people will humble themselves and pray.

you about prayer is I want to talk to you

about my mother. Her name is Mary Ramachandran. She is

ninety three this year, am I right? Brother, correct, ninety three?

She's ninety three years old this year. She's a feisty

chili padi. I tell you this Chinese lady. She's like

all the time here and all the time there, and

you want to have a fight, she will give you

a good fight. At ninety three. You know she's not

one that is laying on the bed and you know

you have to feed her. She's walking here, she's walking there.

And that's a secret. I was just telling my brother

that's a secret why she's like that. And we drag

my mother for all our holidays every year, and we

go for holidays after Christmas, we'll pack our bags for

almost a week. We will go to Cameron Highlands. We

will book a place, we will stay there and we

will eat together, play and we do all kinds of

things together. I know we love doing that and be

doing that for what more than fifteen years. Every year

we will just go away. And the thing that I

used to see my mother do, whether we are on

holiday or not, this is her secret. She will take

her bible, her Tamil bible. She will go to a corner.

She will wake up very early in the morning and

she will do her quiet time. She doesn't have a room,

so she'll sit in the living room and she will

read the word out loud. She will do her quiet

time and she will read the word out loud in Tamil.

And sometimes I don't understand what she's saying, but I

know she's reading the word out loud and she's hearing

the word. And I think that's her secret who she

is today. And she will always call me, you know,

and she said, and she'll call me by my Indian name,

Muggez and she will say, mugguess you know I read this,

this scripture is saying this.

You know, I don't understand this.

And in my broken Tamil and whatever, I will speak English,

a bit a Tamil, a bit Malaya, and I'll try

to explain it to her and she's not bored ninety

three years old. She's not tired of reading the Word

of God. And that's her that's her secret. And if

you want to, you know, be like her, and and

and you we can do more than her and my mother.

It was during the war. She never went to school.

You know, she doesn't know how to read. But yet God,

God taught her how to read the Bible. How is

that possible? Because we have a living God. That's the

only reason why my mother can do what she can do.

If she can not going to school, be able.

To read and understand the Word of God, what excuse

do you and I have.

Not reading the Word of God.

So take the word, read the word, understand, meditate on it,

weigh on the Lord.

If you don't understand.

That's why you have discipleship, get someone to disciple you.

God didn't say, let's make converts. He said, go make disciples.

Disciples are made. They just don't suddenly come up.

They are made. Jesus, that's the first thing he did.

He went and called his.

Disciples, twelve of them. He walked with them, he ate

with them, He taught them. They saw the miracles. And

when Jesus had to go. Who do you think carried

on the work? And the work that they did was

great Peter who Peter. Every time he opened his mouth,

he made a mistake. Every time he opened the mouth.

He can ask holding he was rebuked because Peter was

Peter Alah, you know, but do you know when the

Lord had you know, when the Lord left Jesus, you

know he left and and the work was given to

the disciples to do. And Peter, Peter and John and

Peter did so much work, and and and and.

Are not doing this to make your life difficult. We're

doing this to help you because this is the word

of God, and this is what God is telling us

to do. And so this is what we will do.

But if you say no, thank you, it's not for me.

We will respect you, okay, we won't push you. But

this is what the word of God says. And we

don't want to ignore the word of God. Well, we

all have something to give. Do you think it's easy

for us to come here and share the word. We

have to pray, we have to seek the Lord, we

have to get his word. We have to put it

in word. We got to go difficult, difficult, make all

Roots grow really deep and really fun. It grows so deep.

You cannot pull it out. You cannot pull it out.

That's why when you are upset with somebody, you.

Need to forgive quickly.

But if you keep it, the roots grow really deep

down and then it's spiritual and the Lord has to

come and help you pull that whole thing out.

Then you're set free. If not, you're in bondage. You know.

So unforgiveness was for something that I struggled with. Uh,

And when when when someone hurts me? But do you

know I settled it once and for all, And these

days when someone hurts me, it's it's easier to forgive.

People cannot cannot understand it. No, you've not forgiven that person.

I say, yes, I've forgiven that person. I'm praying for

that person. I love that person. They say no, some

people coming there me, no, you have not forgiven that

person because the thing that they did was huge. What

they did to me was huge, and and others looked

at it and said, no, way you can forgive that person.

I say no, I've forgiven that person. I have forgiven

that person, and I pray for.

That person to come back because I know if that

person would to die today not repenting or what that

person did, it's going to be difficult. You know, when

he meets God or she meets God, it's going to

be very tough what the Lord will say.

That's why you need to forgive.
