  1. You're listening to a passage to go from ex church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your team.

  3. Okay.

  4. Our team for twenty twenty six is Habakuk three two. Okay,

  5. Oh dare is actually this worker. You should see my slide.

  6. It was so plain boring because you know I did

  7. slice many many years ago. I stopped doing all these

  8. presentations and I was like really fumbling over it. So

  9. I managed to put something together. It was so plain.

  10. Then XTV contacted me and said, no, Elder Mabel, this

  11. won't do. You need to change something, you know. So

  12. I didn't have the time, so I gave it to

  13. my daughter Alana. I said, Alana, can you help me?

  14. Can you please just change it to the version that

  15. x TV needs it and give it back to me.

  16. You know what she did. She changed everything, She changed everything,

  17. and this is what she did for me. So praise God. Okay.

  18. So here, he says, O, Lord, I have okay.

  19. Before I read the message, I wonder talk to you

  20. about who praised his prayer. Uh. This is a prophet.

  21. His name is Habakuk. A smaller prophet, not a very

  22. famous or a well spoken prophet.

  23. He's a smaller prophet.

  24. But yet he prayed, and God answered, and God speaks

  25. to him, and today this is his prayer. He said,

  26. Oh Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid.

  27. Oh Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years,

  28. and in the midst of the years, make it known.

  29. So what does it mean? So I'm going to go

  30. into a little bit of that. Okay. During the time

  31. of this prophet, it was it was a very dark

  32. and troubled time.

  33. Okay, it was a very like today. We are living

  34. in a very troubled time. And the Bible says that

  35. we live in a in a worse time than these guys,

  36. in a worst time.

  37. And in the last.

  38. Days, things will be even worse than sodom and go mora.

  39. Can you imagine even worse than sodom and go moral?

  40. The days of Noah, it'll be even worse. And you

  41. and I we see that from schools, to campus, to

  42. to workplace, in the family, we see so many broken things,

  43. so many broken families, so many broken lives.

  44. Okay.

  45. So it was like that for for habaku Ken, he's

  46. crying out to the Lord Lord, heal the land, let

  47. us see you, let hearts be revived. Let justice be everywhere.

  48. And hey, and there was a spiritual decline. Okay, at

  49. that time people were away from God. They were called

  50. they were just not interested.

  51. You know.

  52. They come on a Sunday hear the message, go away,

  53. not really, you know, no God, no God, no fear

  54. of the Lord in them.

  55. Do we have the fear of God in us? Wow?

  56. I told you right.

  57. Someone will walk in the fourth judge just walked in.

  58. Elder can you're hi? Older?

  59. You see the pressures we have to go through, and

  60. your think it's so easy to come up here and

  61. share the word.

  62. It's not.

  63. It's not okay, So pray for me even as I

  64. deliver the word. So he prays, Lord, bring your work

  65. to life again, Bring your work to life again in

  66. the church. Or Lord, stir the people again. Stir the

  67. hearts of the people. Do it again in our generation.

  68. This generation need to hear the Lord Jesus. Whether you're young,

  69. whether you're older, much older, it does not matter. It

  70. remains the same, no excuse. If God calls you today,

  71. are you so certain that you'll be able to hear

  72. him say well done, well done, my faithful servant. Are

  73. you so sure? So today we're going to learn. We're

  74. going to find out what God has for us. Okay, okay,

  75. my take on our revival. Okay, growing up in when

  76. we were like I think we were in our twenties,

  77. maybe we were hearing about revivals our pastor where we

  78. came from.

  79. I came from a small church.

  80. We were here in Acshony, I think more than what's

  81. sixteen I don't know about sixteen years ago, but growing up,

  82. we were from a small church. And then the church

  83. pastor will always talk about revival and you'll always talk

  84. about the White Ten revivals where hundreds and thousands of

  85. people come, and you know, come for these revival.

  86. Meetings and we will study how do we get there?

  87. So I always thought, okay, this is all God.

  88. I got no part to play in it. It's so big.

  89. I can't even imagine. How do you know these revivals happen.

  90. It's so big, it's so many people. How can one

  91. person change anything? And then as I began to study,

  92. you know, it only takes a spark to start a fire, right,

  93. you know, it takes something small palm a fire comes on.

  94. You know, it takes one person in our congregation or

  95. two or three, and we are more than that.

  96. We are all sparks.

  97. We're all fires ready to burn for the Lord.

  98. Okay, so we are all you know, you can start anywhere.

  99. Revival can start anyway, but it has to start in us, us,

  100. in every one of us. And as it starts with us,

  101. then we can share with others. But if it doesn't

  102. start with us, if we don't get revived, and how

  103. are we.

  104. Going to how are we going to move on? Okay, okay, what.

  105. Do I do now? Now that I've heard that I

  106. have a part to play? What do I do? God

  107. responds to heart postures, heart postures?

  108. What does it mean?

  109. Heart postures? See, this is what she did. I don't

  110. know what that is in the hand, but God responds

  111. to heart postures. What is the posture of your heart?

  112. The last time I was here, I spoke about honor.

  113. I spoke about respect. I spoke about reverence. I spoke

  114. about coming on time. I spoke about serving. I spoke

  115. about being excited when you're here. I spoke about when

  116. we are praying. You know, if you need to talk,

  117. if you need to discuss something, please excuse yourself, respect,

  118. the presence of God. You know, just quietly go outside,

  119. go do what you need to do, come back inside,

  120. and then continue to pray with us, continue to believe, don't.

  121. Don't don't disrespect God.

  122. Don't be in our midst and talk and adjust your

  123. clothes and dance around and talk with your friends, because

  124. that doesn't bring respect. And that is what I the

  125. last time I was here. So today we are going

  126. to look into other heart postures.

  127. How do my heart react?

  128. How can I make How can I live a life

  129. that is that is that is meaningful, that is uh

  130. that God takes note of you. Okay, so some of

  131. the post just okay, Before I'll do that, I want

  132. to share that. You know, when when we go for

  133. a physical examination and we've we've done that. You know

  134. all the time we thought we were healthy. We take

  135. all our white means. I've been taking white means for

  136. like what thirty years, thirty thirty five, forty years, you know,

  137. no problem, taking my vitamins, thinking everything is going to

  138. be okay. And then I went for my medical checkup

  139. and then the doctor tells me, maybe you have so

  140. many things lacking in your body, so many vitamins lacking

  141. in your body. I say, doctor, hold on a minute,

  142. hold on a second. You know, I can show you

  143. the thousands of dollars that I've spent buying vitamins. And

  144. I've taken vitamins all my life. How can you say not?

  145. Like my husband, I gave.

  146. Him three bottles for three years.

  147. Every time I ask him, he says, I have vitamins

  148. in the office.

  149. So you can imagine.

  150. Three bottles three years. He has not run out of vitamins.

  151. And he tells me, I take my vitamins every day,

  152. and the three bottles has never run out.

  153. You know, like.

  154. That that that the jar of oil.

  155. It just keeps refeeling. So the doctor said, you're lacking and.

  156. You need to take vitamins. So I'm like, oh my word.

  157. And that's exactly.

  158. How it is. Today. We're going to check our posture.

  159. We're gonna check what is lacking so that we can

  160. do what's right to come back. If we have gone

  161. far away, if we're forgotten, if we've taken our life easy,

  162. if we have you know, not done right. You know

  163. we've been complacent. We come to church, we go back.

  164. There's no problem. I fulfilled my duty as a Christian.

  165. I've done all I have to do. But today we're

  166. going to check somethings. Okay, the first one I want

  167. to check. Oh before that. Sorry I'm missing on all

  168. my points. But let a man examined himself. I always

  169. tell my homies before taking You know, it's in First

  170. Corinthians eleven twenty eight where it says, examine yourself even

  171. before you take the cup. Don't take it like nothing.

  172. You know, you come, you take communion, you take the bread,

  173. you take the drink, and like, no, no big deal.

  174. You know, do you know that the Lord died on

  175. the cross so we can have that covenant, we can

  176. take communion. So don't take things slightly. Examine yourselves. Examine

  177. yourself if you've done something wrong, if you need to repent,

  178. if you need to go to somebody and say I'm sorry,

  179. do that even.

  180. Before you take communion. And if you have not done that,

  181. don't take it.

  182. Don't take communion because the Bible says when you do

  183. things when you don't check yourself. Some are weak, some

  184. are sick, Some have gone to sleep, meaning sleep means MATI.

  185. You know if those are you know, really gone to

  186. sleep for good? So examine yourself. And another scripture I

  187. want to bring before you is some one three nine

  188. twenty three, twenty four, and it says, search me, o Lord,

  189. and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts.

  190. At this I do all the time. And I just

  191. sit before the Lord. And when I do my quiet time,

  192. I always say, God, where have I gone wrong? Where

  193. have I gone wrong? What am I doing? How do

  194. I come back? You know, search my heart, o Lord,

  195. that I do not sin against you.

  196. I only live for the audience of one.

  197. Whether I'm at home or I'm outside with all of you.

  198. What you see me is what you will see in

  199. the house. If I am pulling my husband's leg now

  200. in front of all of you, that's what I do.

  201. That's what we do all the time in the house.

  202. That's how you keep your marriage alive and exciting. You

  203. joke with one another. You don't be so serious. Some

  204. marriages are just like, oh so serious. After getting married

  205. for twenty years, twenty five, thirty years, oh gone, you

  206. know you're so serious. Everyone is like, you can't take anything.

  207. My husband and I've been married for thirty seven years.

  208. We still pull each other's legs. We still joke about

  209. each other, and you know, and it's fun. It can

  210. have the crazy days, but it's.

  211. Fun, okay.

  212. So search your heart, examine yourself, continue to examine, don't

  213. take anything for granted.

  214. Okay.

  215. So the first thing that we want to go and

  216. one of the hard postures is hunger, hunger and thirst.

  217. Blessed adults who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they

  218. shall be feeled. This is a double it's a double.

  219. God stresses it. Just not hunger, just not thirst, but

  220. hunger and thirst. It's a double reminder saying, seek after righteousness,

  221. seek after righteousness. So hunger, you know when extreme comes

  222. every morning and they have to wake up really early

  223. and come open up and come and set up everything,

  224. even X sound x TV. I think they also come

  225. very early on a Sunday morning to set up the place,

  226. you know, and then we all just walk in, you know,

  227. much later, but they come in, prepare the house, put

  228. on the lights, you know, the air conditioned.

  229. I don't know what they need to put on. Practice.

  230. It can get tiring sometimes, you know, but what keeps

  231. you going is that hunger. If you're just doing it

  232. because you're called to do, you won't go anywhere. But

  233. when you're hungry for the Lord, when when you are you.

  234. You know you you you are going to bless somebody.

  235. You know that that that what you do is going

  236. to impact someone else. And you have a responsibility. You know,

  237. you come here.

  238. And you serve God.

  239. And it's so good to see. That's why we say

  240. the more the better.

  241. Come.

  242. Let us all serve the lot together. We are family,

  243. we are united, we are one. We may be in

  244. different places, different countries, we are still one ex church,

  245. same mission, same vision. So don't grow cold. Let's serve together.

  246. Let's serve the lot together. My next point is humility.

  247. I'm not about finishing the slides actually, because I'm more

  248. about wanting to talk to you, more about wanting you

  249. to realize that there are things that you know that you.

  250. And I can do. So we must not grow cold.

  251. You know, whether we put on a coat or we

  252. don't put on a code, we can all serve God.

  253. You don't have to be called to serve God. You can. Yes,

  254. when you're called, uh, it's it's it's it's different. But

  255. even when you're not called, and yet you want to

  256. come early and arrange the chairs, or maybe you want

  257. to help set up, help hold the set up. You know,

  258. do that you know if you don't want to, if

  259. you just want to try it out, go to ex kids.

  260. They always need help. Ask pastor Sarah. She always needs help.

  261. So she's putting up her hand, so help her, you know,

  262. help someone see who needs help?

  263. Okay, okay, My next one is humility.

  264. Humility, Pride resist revival, Humility invites God. When I want

  265. to talk more about pride than than humility, okay, sometimes

  266. you don't even realize that pride creeps in. Do you

  267. know that you don't even realize that you become like

  268. self confident, like I remember once some elder roads sheared,

  269. you know she has all these masters certificates and sometimes

  270. you know she's well to do. She's also very petty.

  271. Uh you know, she looks good and it can sometimes

  272. you can forget that. You can become proud a bit

  273. because of what you have achieved, what you have and

  274. and some of you, I know you do very well

  275. in your marketplace, your bosses of your own companies. When

  276. you walk in, they will say, good morning, sir, good

  277. morning ma'am.

  278. How are you doing.

  279. You get all that respect and that acknowledgement. But you know,

  280. you come to church and nobody you know, shakes your hand. Yeah,

  281. the host does, but but you don't get the same

  282. respect and say, hey, I want to be noticed in

  283. church too. You have to be very careful that pride

  284. doesn't come in. Pride says I don't need God. Pride

  285. does not acknowledge God. Humility does. No matter how big

  286. you are, how rich you. I remember once Pasted saying this.

  287. He said, you know, if you're very rich and you

  288. don't respect anybody, don't say you belong to ex church,

  289. you know, don't say you belong to this church.

  290. You know, I remember, and we used to laugh.

  291. And when passa you all, he with jokes. He can

  292. get a point across, and he can really make that sink.

  293. You know, after these years, these many years, I can

  294. remember all the things that he has taught me because

  295. I took You know, when I feel sleepy, what.

  296. I do is.

  297. I don't always feel sleepy in church, but even very tired,

  298. I always write. I always take notes. I never sit

  299. down and fall asleep. Take notes. Why can't we take notes?

  300. Why can't we take and write down what we've learned?

  301. Take it back into your quiet time. That's what I do.

  302. When when Elder Pengho preaches, Oh boy, the so much

  303. of information.

  304. I'll take it down.

  305. I cannot, I cannot, I cannot remember some of it.

  306. So I take it down.

  307. I go into my quiet time and I and I

  308. start to read it and say, Okay, this is what

  309. he said. And then the Lord will expound on it,

  310. and he will tell you more. He will tell you

  311. more because you took the pain, You took the trouble

  312. to write it down. You just didn't sit in your

  313. chair and go to sleep because you were tired. You

  314. took the trouble to write it down. And then you

  315. take that back into your quiet time and you refer

  316. to it, and God will bless you and and and

  317. speak to you.

  318. Okay, so don't.

  319. Don't if you're feeling sleepy, if you're feeling tired, take notes. Okay,

  320. why did I go to that anyway? Pride, pride, pride,

  321. Be careful of pride, take note of it. God resists

  322. the proud. He says that in the Bible. God resists

  323. the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.

  324. And I've seen a lot of proud people, a lot

  325. of proud people. If you see that in you change.

  326. It's not I don't say.

  327. This to put you, put you or me down, because

  328. I also see that weakness in me.

  329. Sometimes.

  330. I also see myself proud sometimes because I know this,

  331. I know that, or I'm much older than everyone else.

  332. I've been around longer, I've been a Christian longer, I

  333. know more. Just because I keep quiet doesn't mean I

  334. don't know anything. Hey, I can also be very proud that.

  335. That's where I got to check. And I will take

  336. you to another point where I will tell you my

  337. husband and I are going to be sixty five years

  338. old this year, and we can still learn so much

  339. more to learn from all our young speakers, our youngly,

  340. so much to learn. You know, as long as you're

  341. not proud, you can learn, you can grow, and you

  342. can be somebody. But when you say I know it all,

  343. don't preach to me. Don't tell me what to do.

  344. I know, so don't tell me. Oh, that's when you're

  345. going to get into trouble. Okay, the next point, it's

  346. repentance a broken and contrite heart Psalms fifty one seventeen.

  347. How do you keep yourself revived? Revive comes from the

  348. word revival. I can do that, darling, no problem, I

  349. can do that. Joanne is my good friend. Thank you, Joanne.

  350. Repentance are broken and contrite heart Psalm fifty one seventeen

  351. repentance broken before God. Do you know it's so good

  352. to be when you come, when you're doing your quiet time,

  353. to seek quietly and not to let me teach you

  354. a secret. When you come into the presence of God

  355. when you're doing alone time, sometimes it can be tough around.

  356. It's very quiet, just you and God. Sometimes God is

  357. also quiet and you are quiet. But but you can

  358. sit there and just not say anything. Don't go on, Lord,

  359. help my daughter, help my family, help my husband, help

  360. my church. This, there's this. You don't have to tell

  361. God everything, and God already knows that. Sometimes it's just

  362. good to go into his presence and be very quiet,

  363. and as you're very quiet and meditating on just thinking

  364. about God, God will start speaking to you. Did Doesn't

  365. the Bible say?

  366. Wait?

  367. Doesn't the Bible say those that wait on the Lord

  368. shall renew their strength? So sometimes you know, I I

  369. just go into my quiet time in the mornings and

  370. I'll just sit there and not say a single word,

  371. And not saying a single word tears well. Just roll

  372. down my cheeks, just being grateful to God, just being

  373. grateful for the things He's done in my life. Just

  374. being grateful, you know, not to just quickly I need this,

  375. I need this, I need this. You know I have

  376. lack in this. You know I'm not well. You all,

  377. my body is aching at sixty four. Your body's aching.

  378. Tell you, I tell you it's it can be very,

  379. very difficult. So you know, there's so much to tell God.

  380. It's not that God doesn't know. Sometimes if you want

  381. your prayer life to come up, you just have to

  382. trust God to go into his presence and not say

  383. a single word. Just trust God to be in his

  384. presence and and just weigh upon him, and he will download.

  385. He will tell you stuff that you don't know. And

  386. you've walked out at that quiet time, so strengthened instead

  387. of you going down and listening down ten things why

  388. God should answer those press Okay, so yes, repentance, repentance.

  389. I know I went a little bit different, but repentance

  390. is very important when you've done something wrong in the day.

  391. I don't know how many times I tell God, Lord, sorry, Yah,

  392. I've done that. Sorry, Sorry, sorry, sorry, I'm sorry. I

  393. shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have said that. You

  394. don't have to go into your quiet time or into

  395. your room to say God, i'm sorry. Where you are,

  396. God is there with you. You can say Lord, i'm sorry.

  397. You know God, I wasn't thinking. I said it too fast,

  398. and I know it hurts somebody. I was gonna say

  399. sorry to that person, I'm sorry. My husband and I especially,

  400. he always says sorry to me.

  401. Always.

  402. I'm sorry, Love, I'm sorry, love, I'm sorry, love always.

  403. How do you think that is seven years? We survived

  404. because he's always saying sorry.

  405. So that's good, right, see? We laugh. The joy of

  406. the Lord is our strength. Honesty.

  407. Okay, this light, honesty, integrity. Okay, hey Daniel, he did something, Daniel. Okay,

  408. that's good, thank you.

  409. Okay. Last month, January, I want to tell you something.

  410. I was doing some.

  411. Work and then suddenly I heard the word integrity, integrity.

  412. And then I stopped. I knew God spoke to me. Ah.

  413. I got a little bit worried. I said, Lord, integrity,

  414. what are you trying to tell me? Are you trying

  415. to tell me something? You know, when God speaks, you know,

  416. God speaks Suddenly even though it's noisy all around you,

  417. even your heart like stops. Everything around you becomes a

  418. little bit quiet. And God doesn't shout when he's talking

  419. to you. He's very soft, he tells you, but very strong.

  420. He just said integrity, and I got worried. I said, Lord,

  421. where am I going wrong? Is it in my in

  422. my in my uh? Is it in my business? Am

  423. I not doing it right?

  424. Am I not treating someone right? What? What is it? So?

  425. I began to search you know, I told you exactly,

  426. I mean search your heart. I searched my heart and

  427. I said, okay, Lord, I will try and be careful, okay.

  428. And that's the first time he said integrity. One week past,

  429. again I heard the word integrity and I at this

  430. time he got me worried. I was like, oh Lord,

  431. I'm not sure I understand. I'm not sure I understand.

  432. What are you trying to tell me? Why are you

  433. telling me integrity?

  434. Again? You all know what is integrity? Right?

  435. And then he spoke to me the third time, integrity,

  436. and he Daniel, can you show us the picture integrity

  437. my daughter. This is my daughter Ashley. She's the one

  438. that went through the operation. And you all prayed for her.

  439. She works in Kazakhstan and she is in education in Kazakhstan.

  440. So every time she will send me pictures and she

  441. will tell me, Mom, this is what we did in school.

  442. These are the things you know my my school.

  443. She worked in an international very at that school, and

  444. she sent me this picture. After God spoke to me twice.

  445. Can you see what's on the picture? This the third

  446. time God said integrity through this picture. So do you

  447. think that God is trying to tell me something integrity?

  448. So I quickly wrote to passes Hendra and even pass

  449. the Kenneth. I said, I'm getting this word integrity again

  450. and again. I just want them to tell me something,

  451. but they didn't. So I was thinking, and then we

  452. are going into revival. You know, we're speaking about revival.

  453. But yet integrity came out. And as I was doing

  454. this message, one of the postures is integrity.

  455. So I praise God that I can talk about integrity today.

  456. Integrity is doing the same thing what you won't do

  457. in public. You won't shower, you want scold, you won't

  458. use foul language. You will not do it in your

  459. quiet time, in your quiet places where you are just

  460. with your family, maybe what you would do outside as

  461. simple as that. Integrity When you say, ah, friend, i'll

  462. be there all depend I'll be there at twelve o'clock,

  463. but come at twelve forty five, because twelve o'clock you're

  464. still tying your shoelace. That is not integrity. Integrity is

  465. you follow what you say. If you say you're gonna

  466. be there at twelve, you be there eleven forty five

  467. and waiting because you know you cannot come on time,

  468. so you come at eleven forty five. That's integrity. Integrity

  469. is always holding honor in your heart and being honest

  470. wherever you are. Why God is talking about integrity to

  471. all of you and to me, there must be a reason.

  472. There must be a reason why God told me integrity

  473. three times and send me a picture and I didn't

  474. even notice the Can I see the picture again?

  475. Please?

  476. The one thing I don't want y'all to take away

  477. is my slights and.

  478. The pictures because there are words in it.

  479. My face is not important, but those scriptures are important.

  480. Because they bring live they bring changes in people.

  481. You know, It's not about That's why I told Alana,

  482. It's not about the pictures. And how beautiful. The slights

  483. must be. But it's the words, the words that bring

  484. life and changes to us. That's what's important, writer and

  485. not church. So when she sent me this picture, I

  486. didn't see the word integrity. I didn't see it. But

  487. as I was looking, I don't know why. I looked

  488. again and Sandy, So I told my husband, Hey, integrity

  489. third time. So I knew that I needed to come

  490. here and share with you about integrity.

  491. Church. You know your life.

  492. You know what you're doing in or quiet places, and

  493. you know what you do outside when you're with people.

  494. God is asking you to live a life of integrity.

  495. We are the light of this world and people look

  496. down on Christians. Why no integrity? We don't have integrity.

  497. What we say we don't do. So let's change in

  498. this area. Let's take note. The Holy Spirit is saying something.

  499. God is saying something. Let's take note of it. We

  500. hear it, we change. The moment we hear it, we change,

  501. and that's how we get revival. As spark that will

  502. turn into a big fire. We don't just want to

  503. be a spark. God just didn't call us be a spark.

  504. Be a spark, be a spark.

  505. God called it. We are light. We are light of

  506. this world, sort of this land.

  507. So we need to show that we are Christians, that

  508. we can go there and people can count on us.

  509. If we don't have integrity, and people see our live

  510. is an open book, right, we walk, we talk everything.

  511. People are taking note of it. You don't realize, but

  512. people are taking note of it, especially those who do

  513. not know Christ, especially those who.

  514. Are without hope.

  515. They are like longing, you know who can come and

  516. help us. But when they see that integrity in you,

  517. when they see that honesty in you, they know that

  518. they can come to you and you will help them.

  519. Okay, thank you so much.

  520. Be consistent, your action match words, trustworthy, people.

  521. Can rely on you.

  522. Imagine we are supposed our services at ten o'clock, We

  523. have our.

  524. Our intercession at nine.

  525. Point fifteen, briefing at nine point thirty, pre service pread

  526. nine forty five, service starts at ten extremely Suppose they

  527. be here at what time ELI.

  528. Seven point thirty.

  529. Imagine they don't have integrity, they say, okay, seven thirty,

  530. I'll be there, but they walk in at eight thirty

  531. and they want to start practicing. Can you imagine and

  532. sound or x TV everybody takes their own time to

  533. you know, come whatever time, and no, we can't do that.

  534. So God is reminding us integrity. It is not my words,

  535. it was his words. He knows something that is happening

  536. in our lives. Let's take note. Let's change. Okay, let's

  537. change in that area. Obedience the next heart posture, obedience.

  538. God delights in an obedient heart pleasure. It brings pleasure

  539. to him. When you're obedient, it pleases him. If you

  540. love me, keep my commandments? Is it keeping his commandments?

  541. What is keeping his commandments? Everything that God's word says.

  542. If God's word says, don't lie, don't lie. I know

  543. sometimes in works or if you meet a policeman, sometimes they.

  544. Say no, no, no, no, no no. You try to

  545. get out of it.

  546. Even for me, sometimes it's tough to to, you know, sometimes.

  547. To always speak the truth. But you have to. We

  548. have to speak the truth all the time. And God

  549. expects us.

  550. You know, when we live for that audience of one,

  551. God is watching you twenty four to seven. There is

  552. no chance. So every time even when I'm like, you know,

  553. you know, in my own time, you know, Elder Terans

  554. goes to work I'm alone in the house and nobody

  555. is watching me, but I know there is a presence

  556. that follows me, and he's with me all the time.

  557. So everything I say, everything I do, he's watching me.

  558. And I have an accountability. I have to give an

  559. account to the Lord. One day, I have to face

  560. him face to face and give an account to the Lord.

  561. So I pray that you will also, you know, in

  562. your in your in your time there, when your alone,

  563. you will also live that life where you're always you know,

  564. in obedience, doing is doing what.

  565. Loves what he loves.

  566. Okay, the next posture that I want to talk about

  567. is prayer. If my people will humble themselves and pray.

  568. And here, see she's changed my daughter, She changed my Okay,

  569. let's see what she wrote.

  570. If my people, who are called by my name will

  571. humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn

  572. from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven

  573. and will forgive their sin and heal their land. And

  574. these words that God speaks, they are words of life.

  575. Don't take it for granted. Don't say it's just there

  576. to fill up the pages. That's why it's so fat.

  577. There's so much of words in it, but every word counts.

  578. Take it, Live it, don't take advantage of it, don't

  579. forget God's word. Live by God's word. Okay, So okay,

  580. we're talking prayer. Another thing I want to share with

  581. you about prayer is I want to talk to you

  582. about my mother. Her name is Mary Ramachandran. She is

  583. ninety three this year, am I right? Brother, correct, ninety three?

  584. She's ninety three years old this year. She's a feisty

  585. chili padi. I tell you this Chinese lady. She's like

  586. all the time here and all the time there, and

  587. you want to have a fight, she will give you

  588. a good fight. At ninety three. You know she's not

  589. one that is laying on the bed and you know

  590. you have to feed her. She's walking here, she's walking there.

  591. And that's a secret. I was just telling my brother

  592. that's a secret why she's like that. And we drag

  593. my mother for all our holidays every year, and we

  594. go for holidays after Christmas, we'll pack our bags for

  595. almost a week. We will go to Cameron Highlands. We

  596. will book a place, we will stay there and we

  597. will eat together, play and we do all kinds of

  598. things together. I know we love doing that and be

  599. doing that for what more than fifteen years. Every year

  600. we will just go away. And the thing that I

  601. used to see my mother do, whether we are on

  602. holiday or not, this is her secret. She will take

  603. her bible, her Tamil bible. She will go to a corner.

  604. She will wake up very early in the morning and

  605. she will do her quiet time. She doesn't have a room,

  606. so she'll sit in the living room and she will

  607. read the word out loud. She will do her quiet

  608. time and she will read the word out loud in Tamil.

  609. And sometimes I don't understand what she's saying, but I

  610. know she's reading the word out loud and she's hearing

  611. the word. And I think that's her secret who she

  612. is today. And she will always call me, you know,

  613. and she said, and she'll call me by my Indian name,

  614. Muggez and she will say, mugguess you know I read this,

  615. this scripture is saying this.

  616. You know, I don't understand this.

  617. And in my broken Tamil and whatever, I will speak English,

  618. a bit a Tamil, a bit Malaya, and I'll try

  619. to explain it to her and she's not bored ninety

  620. three years old. She's not tired of reading the Word

  621. of God. And that's her that's her secret. And if

  622. you want to, you know, be like her, and and

  623. and you we can do more than her and my mother.

  624. It was during the war. She never went to school.

  625. You know, she doesn't know how to read. But yet God,

  626. God taught her how to read the Bible. How is

  627. that possible? Because we have a living God. That's the

  628. only reason why my mother can do what she can do.

  629. If she can not going to school, be able.

  630. To read and understand the Word of God, what excuse

  631. do you and I have.

  632. Not reading the Word of God.

  633. So take the word, read the word, understand, meditate on it,

  634. weigh on the Lord.

  635. If you don't understand.

  636. That's why you have discipleship, get someone to disciple you.

  637. God didn't say, let's make converts. He said, go make disciples.

  638. Disciples are made. They just don't suddenly come up.

  639. They are made. Jesus, that's the first thing he did.

  640. He went and called his.

  641. Disciples, twelve of them. He walked with them, he ate

  642. with them, He taught them. They saw the miracles. And

  643. when Jesus had to go. Who do you think carried

  644. on the work? And the work that they did was

  645. great Peter who Peter. Every time he opened his mouth,

  646. he made a mistake. Every time he opened the mouth.

  647. He can ask holding he was rebuked because Peter was

  648. Peter Alah, you know, but do you know when the

  649. Lord had you know, when the Lord left Jesus, you

  650. know he left and and the work was given to

  651. the disciples to do. And Peter, Peter and John and

  652. Peter did so much work, and and and and.

  653. He preached the sermon.

  654. If you if you look at the word of God,

  655. he preached sermons. He went to the to the gate

  656. to the what guy that that beautiful gate?

  657. And then he just told that that person.

  658. You know, I have nothing to give you, But what

  659. I have I give you, rise up and walk.

  660. How do Peter do that? It's through discipleship. So I'll

  661. be calling uh, I'll be calling all my homies, some

  662. of my homies. I haven't approached you yet, Chris uh

  663. chess uh. You know. Come, let's be discipled, you know,

  664. let's get on board. This is what we.

  665. Are not doing this to make your life difficult. We're

  666. doing this to help you because this is the word

  667. of God, and this is what God is telling us

  668. to do. And so this is what we will do.

  669. But if you say no, thank you, it's not for me.

  670. We will respect you, okay, we won't push you. But

  671. this is what the word of God says. And we

  672. don't want to ignore the word of God. Well, we

  673. all have something to give. Do you think it's easy

  674. for us to come here and share the word. We

  675. have to pray, we have to seek the Lord, we

  676. have to get his word. We have to put it

  677. in word. We got to go difficult, difficult, make all

  678. these presentation slides and come here. Stand before you can't talk,

  679. can't talk where you were not like all these wonderful

  680. speakers that can talk so eloquently. No, but we do

  681. what we have to do because God called us to

  682. do it. God called me to do it many many

  683. years ago, twelve years ago. He told me to do it,

  684. and I ran away from it until he gave me

  685. a dream. In the dream, the angel actually brought me

  686. to the pulpit and say back on the pulpit, I

  687. want you to preach. I want you to do this,

  688. I want you to do that. No more running away

  689. and it was clear that I had to do it.

  690. So yeah, so that's why I'm here.

  691. It's not easy, guys.

  692. This is obedience. You know, this is just obedience. It's

  693. killing me, but it is obedience. God say do it.

  694. I do it.

  695. Even though it's painful, it's difficult, I do it.

  696. So what excuse do you have? What excuse do you

  697. tell yourself? I'm not going to do it. Sorry, I'm

  698. just going to come here every Sunday here and that's it.

  699. That's no more nor less. This is all I will

  700. give Sunday service. And that's it. Come on, guys, we

  701. have to we have to honor the Lord. We have

  702. to do what's right. We've got to live and go

  703. where God is calling us. Okay, thank you Lord. Okay, prayer.

  704. I told you about my mom. That's a secret. Let's

  705. learn from all our elders, our old people. You know,

  706. they're setting the example. They're showing us. Look at us.

  707. My mom didn't say that, but but I watch I

  708. watch my mother. I watch my mother, whether a holiday

  709. or not, she takes a Bible and she reads it

  710. and she prays and she does a quiet time. Whether

  711. people are looking, people are not looking, we.

  712. Are having fun, laughing, playing games. But she's there and

  713. she will, she will, she will read.

  714. The Bible really loud because sometimes we read this neg

  715. but then because mums doing a quiet time, you know.

  716. So that's the secret and we can learn from her. Okay, teachability.

  717. My next point today, if you hear his voice, do

  718. not harden your hearts. You have heard God speaking in

  719. different way, and God is telling you to take different postures.

  720. Different postures, you know, honestly, repentance, repent, you know, you

  721. need to repent. You need to say sorry. You need

  722. to come to the Lord. You need to come back

  723. to the Lord. You need to be obedient, you need

  724. to pray. Teachability today, you have heard his voice, do

  725. not harden your hearts.

  726. Don't go away.

  727. Every Sunday we come and precious, precious pulse are thrown

  728. at us. Precious, you know, let's not do what the

  729. Bible says. The Bible says, you're through purse to swines.

  730. What do swines do?

  731. This?

  732. That all over it? They don't appreciate it. But let's

  733. not be like that.

  734. I hope after de sermon someone doesn't come and call

  735. me au and your words are very tough. Why don't

  736. you just give us the good stuff? Don't give us

  737. the bad stuff. We don't want to hear the bad stuff.

  738. But God's what comes in different ways. It comes with

  739. the good and the bad. Yes, not Geraldine, It comes,

  740. you know. Sometimes it comes nice, It comes to encourage you.

  741. Sometimes it comes hard. You say, don't harden your hearts.

  742. If you hear the word of God, change change. Every

  743. Sunday we have an opportunity to hear God's voice, God

  744. speaking to us, you know, change, Let's change my last

  745. what's the time now?

  746. Who? I spoke for so long?

  747. I'm forty five, and I thought I will not finish

  748. my slight love for God and love for people? Can

  749. we love people? We can love God is easy to

  750. love God. But can we love people? And people come

  751. in all sizes, all different characters and different thinking, different

  752. different people. Everybody have their hang ups. You know when

  753. you see them, love them. You know, I told you

  754. right once I was here in church and I was like, oh,

  755. this person didn't come on time, on this person, this

  756. is not done, that is not done. I'm always checking, checking, checking,

  757. And then suddenly I just God just told me turn

  758. around and look and I.

  759. Turned around, you know, I sit in the front.

  760. I turned around and looked at the congregation, and suddenly

  761. I had a download.

  762. I felt God's love and God's compassion.

  763. And that's how God feels about each and every one

  764. of you. God loves you so much, and he says

  765. so much compassion, so much compassion for each and every

  766. one of us.

  767. He loves us so much. Let's not take his love

  768. for granted. Okay, he loves us, so let's love people.

  769. Let's quickly forgive.

  770. Don't hold grudges, don't hold, don't take offense. You know,

  771. not everyone comes in on a Sunday feeling great, you know,

  772. feeling good. Sometimes you know they had something difficult happened

  773. in their lives, in their homes, in the family. Sometimes

  774. families that coming with children, you know, you know, I

  775. know we had children before, and it's not easy when

  776. we have small children. We got to pack all the bags,

  777. bring them to church. They're crying, or just before you leave,

  778. they have wet they are diapers. You've got to go

  779. back in and change. And then you're telling USMN, why

  780. don't you do it? He said, no, I got to

  781. go stop the car. Why don't you do it, and

  782. then you know, a fight comes up, and then you

  783. come to judge your long faces, and then and then

  784. someone doesn't wish you, and then you just get so angry.

  785. Everybody's getting angry. Let's give them the benefit of doubt.

  786. Let's not be so angry, be so fast to judge,

  787. to be so fast to point fingers.

  788. Let's let's let's practice.

  789. Being com having compassion for one another, loving one another,

  790. giving them a chance. I think one person who's like that,

  791. who's amazing square, I think ninety nine point. I always

  792. got to him and say, Elder Poh, this is not done,

  793. This is not done. Okay, you'll tell me all right, okay,

  794. we'll do this. We'll look into this. You know, he's

  795. so nice, he'll put you down. Okay, then let's see.

  796. You know, Elder Pingo is so patient. Elder Rose very blessed.

  797. She says this, Yes, yes, yes, yes, it's so goodness,

  798. it's really really amazing. Love him, love him bits yes.

  799. And I've come to the end of my message, and uh,

  800. extreme can come up.

  801. Wow, finish my second message.

  802. Let's love people. Okay, let's love people, because the commandment

  803. is love God, love people, God said no love the Lord,

  804. your God, with all your heart, your soul, your mind,

  805. your strength.

  806. And love one another. Love one another.

  807. Sometimes, you know, when when somebody heard me this is

  808. a long time ago, I couldn't forgive. I couldn't forgive

  809. someone who heard me long time ago, long long time ago,

  810. and I struggled with unforgiveness.

  811. I struggle. It's it's unforgiveness is really really, really bad.

  812. It's the tool of the devil. He holds you.

  813. And once he holds you that plant, that seed that

  814. is planted in you, that the.

  815. Roots grow really deep and really fun. It grows so deep.

  816. You cannot pull it out. You cannot pull it out.

  817. That's why when you are upset with somebody, you.

  818. Need to forgive quickly.

  819. But if you keep it, the roots grow really deep

  820. down and then it's spiritual and the Lord has to

  821. come and help you pull that whole thing out.

  822. Then you're set free. If not, you're in bondage. You know.

  823. So unforgiveness was for something that I struggled with. Uh,

  824. And when when when someone hurts me? But do you

  825. know I settled it once and for all, And these

  826. days when someone hurts me, it's it's easier to forgive.

  827. People cannot cannot understand it. No, you've not forgiven that person.

  828. I say, yes, I've forgiven that person. I'm praying for

  829. that person. I love that person. They say no, some

  830. people coming there me, no, you have not forgiven that

  831. person because the thing that they did was huge. What

  832. they did to me was huge, and and others looked

  833. at it and said, no, way you can forgive that person.

  834. I say no, I've forgiven that person. I have forgiven

  835. that person, and I pray for.

  836. That person to come back because I know if that

  837. person would to die today not repenting or what that

  838. person did, it's going to be difficult. You know, when

  839. he meets God or she meets God, it's going to

  840. be very tough what the Lord will say.

  841. That's why you need to forgive.

  842. And let's remember some of the things that God tells

  843. us to do or we need to do it.

  844. Okay.
